It just occurred to me that it has been months since I wrote on my blog. Many things have happened in year 2008 which I had to grow up no matter what. So much to see, so much to listen ,so much to learn from our life circumstances.

Sometimes I wonder why I had to go through the tougher road (more painful) but I guessed that's the fastest route the Universe seek to deliver the lessons to me. It just take certain life situation to wake up your idea on what life is all about.

What I really wish to experience for 2009:

Decisions

The decisions you've made, you already made them.

Whatever critical points of decision you are in, you already walk them.

Even when you are at your crossroads and you have paths open up for you, you already walk through them.

Each path has it own challenges and game installed for you.

By physically walking through it, you are merely remembering the journey where skillsets and experiences picked up along the way.

Whatever decision you make, there's no right and wrong, cos it is just part of the learning process of life that you are living.

Things happen for a reason.

It will reveal itself in time to come, just be patient.

Make the first step. It's always the hardest.

But once you passed inertia, things will flow into place.

Take the plunge and jump and roll through it!!!

9 months of journey within.
The fight with the demons within.
To face your worse enemy of your life.
To give up that part of me which i have been holding on to.
To let that part of me die so that i can live again.
How much one has to give up her limitations which has confine you all the while.
What is it like to live in the absence of your limitation?

Assuming different roles of the organization, leadership in different forms.
Growth. Expansion.
Life is a test.
When you make a decision about something in your life, life test you with all it has.
It shaken your fundamental beliefs, values and perceptions of what you have learnt from life.

Declaration of independence.
To stand up for yourself in your life.
Ceased to live up to people's expectations.
Start living your own life.
Go do what you want in your life.
What you deem as important, it suggest otherwise.

Liberation.
Freedom.

Sense of betrayal.
It came back again.
History repeats itself, it will haunt you until you learnt it.
And there is nothing personal about it.

What does it take to transcend your circumstance?

It is like hanging on the cliff of your life, hanging on to the circumstances which have trapped us all this while. To let go require courage. Courage to fall freely. What is it like to experience freedom in falling. Afraid of the landing. But it merely suggests that it naturally creates a new platform for you to step on and grow out of it.

Life is indeed suffering when we hold on tightly to the perceptions and assumptions we have about life.

The 24hr Challenge

Hey,
The clock is ticking..19 hours has passed. I couldn't believe I manage to stay up throughout the night with the occassion doze offs. This is tiring man. Everyone of us managed to survive through with the tender loving care of our food i/c Khim - her breakfast that she prepared for all of us is heaven! And our pong pong boy Dave never fails to cheer us on to press on and surprise us with ice cream and titbits to keep all of us company. Each of us focus and engross in the work we do to make it happen!

Despite the physical tiredness, it is still very rewarding with this experience cos i've never written a book before. And this is the largest number of co-authors i found in a book about 40. It is amazing to watch people move at great speed to piece all of this together. What a year to begin with to do one BIG thing in 2008!

Yes… in life, shit happens. Sometimes we fight through it. Sometimes we give up.

WohOooo...
It has been an amazing growth of 8 weeks where i was involved in programs after programs. Breakdowns were inevitable. Sometimes we stayed there for awhile before we get out of it. And when we do, a breakthrough occured for us. It has been madness weeks and i'm glad i survived through. Thanks to simon, yixin, dionis, alex, esther, eileen and all who have kindly support me thru out this period of time.

It dawned upon me that my relationship with simon is coming to 6 months. and i haven been catching up with my friends. Next on list to do...gonna catch up with them.

It has been an amazing 6 weeks of MCW (making courage work), i also took on making courage work for me. Never would i imagine myself to take up the CS (course supervisor) role. Well i procrastinated for 3 years and deferred my area of growth where i lack in. It has been a complete showcase of my blindspots to remind me to work on them all the time.

Thinking back on how i started, there were hiccups along the way, bumping my way through. i fell..i stood up..i fell again..stood up again. Went through cycles of breakdown and breakthrough. More to come. It is just the beginning, isn't it? At the very least i'm falling FORWARD. :) I confronted things that i do not want to do and i want to acknowledge myself for taking this up. :) It may not be as fantastic but but but..it is somewhere that i start and that i can continue to improve upon. At the very least i have a framework of how things work or how things can work.

Wanna acknowledge yixin for standing by me as my coach in this cos i really would have given up right at the beginning. And it manage to bring out my weak side and depressed side..looks like i'm really very confronted by it.

What i done recently is that i went shopping!!! gotten myself a dress, handbag, and shoes! Now doing my hair as i blog! haha. Acts of self love. :) Is time to pamper pamper myself as i travel on this journey.

Anyway my sis is back for good! We had lunch together ..finally the family is reunited! and we had fun chatting and laughing. :D happy! nice!

My Magic

It was an awesome night at TCC preview last night. i was down with sore throat and cough. i thought my energy and space would be affected, how am i to share powerfully. Woohoo..and i pull it off, powerfully and it managed to hit a few people.

It has been a long time since i last shared before i flew off to beijing. Nice. Come to think of it, i'm amazed by what i gone through. Sis dionis and dave did a fantastic job in leading the preview. Fun! :D

And my dear xiao mei-weiling finally took the leap! Off she go for the October TCC. i'm excited for her in what she's gonna create for herself after the program in the dragonboat team. Grow grow grow...:D

Isn't it amazing to watch someone grow? Considering an alternate path, something which had them held on tightly and bring them to where they are today, and yet they chose to take the path peiying, esther and myself took. Indeed, that is courage. Taking a leap to what's on the other side. Another side which we have yet to discover all these while. Is all a matter of time.

At some point in our lives, we are going to face the questions like,
1) Who are you?
- What's behind that name of yours?
- What's behind that identity of yours?
- If all is stripped away, who are you really?

2) Why are you here?
- What is your purpose in this life?

3) What is the meaning of life?

etc etc...

Probably some have given up in searching for answers cos is not out there, is in here.
Within you.

Consider i might be able to lead you to your truth, are you willing to see?

Can one bear your own truth?

There is no THE truth, simply yours to begin with.

Alrighty! i have been away...for such a long time. She was in depression, sadness, wimpy, seriousness, fear...i almost couldnt recognise her. Until i met eric and he reminded me that i used to have high energy and joy in me. That was Joan. Where was she? She never left.

Zeoane came and decided to take another perspective of how she should be like. She went on to test and try different methods to find what suits her. But fun is all she is. Energy is all she is. Why be someone who she is not? Why live up to other's expectations and beat self up when expectations are not met?

Who is Zeoane? Just that you never get to see her existence that's all.
They are just different parts of me, isn't it. Whatever name it says, is stil the same person. What for I put a distinction. Interesting how i showed up lately. Thank you for your tolerance in bearing with my wimpyness!

I want my sunshine back. I want my high energy back..the truth is, it never left. Just that i haven seen her for a long time. And i kept looking out to be like others. Gee...how tiring. Be true to yourself.

New responsibilities are taken up. When all things seem to crash on you, you get to see your blindspots flashed in front of you and all alarming you that your existing systems don't freaking work. Get an upgrade!!! Change your system. How much resistance that takes? Until it cost you bad enough probably you might want a change for yourself.

Only when you play a different role in a different situation, then it'll call out the other sides of you which you never have a chance to see it for who you really are. Sometimes we are just afriad to take the leap, that we are afriad is cos there is another part of us about to be awaken. And we are unfamiliar with this new part of us.

Beijing Beijing..here I am!

Hey all,
Finally found time to blog my latest update about my life in Beijing. Been here for more than a month. I took mrt with the chinese folks every morning and evening, fighting for every inch of my space and protecting my space. Very challenging. hehe. Anyway, i got used to it and took little "pong pong" to work every morning. See below.

Finally got a haircut. It has been super hot like 43 degrees. Crazy weather. Feel much lighter..heh!

New Beginning

Welcome to my loving dovey world!

Simply too simple to be true that love exist in the world, isn't it? Well it defintely does, at least in my world. I guess is time to move to the next phase of my life, hence the creation of another website, along with my new name and etc. I'm currently at Beijing for internship with Ogilvy. Pretty exciting cos i'm gonna start work on Monday.

Been receiving love from my world which made me feel really blessed. A new addition into my life where i found my soul mate, companion and buddy while exploring a new part of my life. And we are growing together, flying powerfully together. :) Here he is, Mr Simon Tan. :D He's gaining quite a bit of popularity from my loved ones.

I'm living a great life and it shall continue to be as it is. May the sisters reunite and our BILs too! hehe!
