My Wedding D.I.Y Project!

Another week to go... I'm having some mixed feelings; anxious, stress and excited! Everything seems to be in order and hopefully we could have some fun! So anyway today I'm just gonna show some of the DIY roses I made for my wedding day. I got so stressed up thinking of where to buy the boutonniere corsage whether to get a fresh flower etc... End up I stumbled upon a youtube clip and decided to do my own instead. So I got the material and a glue gun (which I hate most... I remembered getting hurt ma' hand with one of those crap back in those days when we went camping doing all the scout and girl guide's stuff) from the wedding house of favors located at Bukit Jalil and start making it. I got it done in one night. It's not that difficult and it's pretty cost saving haha! Yes I hurt my finger a few times but then a little personal touch to the big day I guess it's worth it and I have fun putting my creativity in good use. The flower girl's small rose bouquet is made from fabric and painted it with orange water colour in the middle finished the wrapping and design with pearl and champagne ribbon.

I am pretty happy that I bought my ji mui dress from and online fb seller Lamor Jean Lee or you can just go find her page Jean-On9shopping. Her service was pretty good. It's all in customized sizes according to my ji muis. So I grab 9pcs from her and cost me a total of RM535. The quality is pretty good and she gave me free corsages when I didn't even ask for it (it's added value services). Delivery service is very on time. So I am very happy with it I couldn't have ask for more it's good quality, good service and reasonable price. The colour of the dress is beige slightly yellowish cream colour but then my camera a bit cacat (it's rather white). Here's the pic:

My Weight Loss Diary

I have lost a total of 6kgs so far on my 28th day of weight loss programme. It's pretty amazing I've come these far. Usually I will just give up to my temptations especially when I see ice-cream, rice, potatoes, all the carbs.... yum! However, this time round I am very determine to get rid of the ugly fats for the sake of my wedding day. Just so I could fit into the gown. Surprisingly, I am getting used to eating lesser and also drinking more water and exercising regularly. So what did I do?

On the 1st Aug Started my diet plan... (still cheat a little getting ready for my body to adapt). Initially, I thought I could skip dinner and take 2 meals a day (breakfast & lunch) but the fact that I get hungry at night makes my sleep even more miserable and I tend to end up eating supper. So I figured that I should opt for the 1 meal a day diet and take dinner skip breakfast and lunch. Usually, my body doesn't wake up that early and due to my working schedule / sleeping habit I have to adjust my body clock a little to cheat on the metabolism rate (I tend to have the luxury to sleep till whenever I want to wake up since I am my own boss and still manage to get my work done). My dinner will be my first and last meal. First few days, I cheat a little when towards around 9pm, I get hungry so I have two boil eggs just to satisfy my craving.

The first week of my diet was miserable, I have to undergo a detox session where I drink gallons of water with lemon to clear off all the nasty stuff. Surprisingly, I lost about 1.5kgs on my 1st week. I guess I've got rid of all the water retention I used to have. I'm like a living cactus. I hate the taste of plain water so much but after forcing myself to drink at least 8cups of water everyday, I'm starting to get used to the taste. I will add a piece of lemon in my warm water. I cut down all the carbs, take protein, fiber and fruits instead. Strictly no rice or noodles in my diet. The trick is eat below 1200 calories. I've been eating about 600 calories per day.

The 1 meal a day diet is actually not healthy in long run therefore I wouldn't encourage anyone to do it. It's just that I am running out of time and knowing myself that I lack of discipline to control my temptation so eating 5-6meals in a small portion a day is no good to me. I am afraid that it might turn out the other way round instead of cutting 10kgs I would gain 20kgs. So I thought it would be better I make my stomach smaller before going back to eating regularly and in small portions.

On the second week, I started going to gym (it's about time I utilize the facilities after paying all the maintenance right?). I was running on treadmill for 1hr, doing some cardio exercise to boost my stamina and metabolism. I have to be honest, I was a little lazy; tend to give excuses and ended up skipping my exercise session. Then a friend of mine shared to me a figurerobics video and asked me to try it out at home. It was very simple yet effective 30mins exercise. It was created by a Korean housewife when she loss 20kg in 3 months at the age of 46. Her name Jung Da Yeon who is also known as "momjjang ajumma" which means "mom with a striking figure." I strongly recommend her video. Just Google it or you can search on Youtube and you will not have any reason or excuses to skip your exercise routine.

So I've been keeping up with my weight loss routine, at times I get really grumpy because I miss ice-cream a lot. Recently, I stumbled upon the Popsicle mould at Diaso. I purchased it without second thought, went to grocery store and grab some fruits. Then I did my own homemade fruity Popsicle. No sugar added it was 100% fruits. It simply stop my sugar craving. Hopefully, by Oct 19th I could fit into my gown and be pretty.

After MIA for such a long... long... long... time, I'm finally BACK!!! Wow it's been more than half a year now, I have left this space empty. So this is my very first post for 2013! I have so much to say that I don't know where to begin with. I've been busy with work and preparation for my big day. I guess I'll just talk about the big day. It's gonna be held on our 4th Anniversary which is like two months away.

Recently, I felt like I'm having the nervous bride syndrome. Having these anxiety, jumpy and confused feeling in you isn't funny at all. As the day draws near, I find that I couldn't really sleep well at night, worrying about the wedding plans, thinking about the shift of my identity and the responsibility (huge one not even sure I'm gonna be a good wife or am I actually ready for this?)

I often heard about how people getting this 'cold-feet' feeling just before their big day. I never thought I would experience it myself. I've always thought I've found a good man in my life who loves me and that's all that matters. I'm not sure why I'm feeling this way, maybe we can blame it on the frenzy of wedding plannings... or the lack of food (yeah I just gotta diet for the sake of that two days event). It might be because I'm a perfectionist as well and if the wedding doesn't go as planned I'll probably make a super duper huge fuss on it. Maybe I watched too much Disney movies as a kid... I've always dream of having a different kind of wedding when I was kid (blame it on Cinderella =P) I love having people dancing in the middle of the ballroom and people making a toast for you (with real champagne), the bride and groom happily dancing away doesn't need to entertain anyone. I know I know it's pretty much western style. I don't fancy the normal Chinese wedding ceremony thingy. I often find it meaningless, costly and it's such a hassle to even begin with. If you ask me and if I'm given a choice, I probably take my money go Paris, Rome, round the world or wherever and come back just announce "Hey, guess what? I'm married!"

It's like two months away, we have yet to finalize our guest list and it means we have yet to finalize the number of tables and it also means we have yet to finalize the dishes too. I'm more worried for the Malacca side because Penang side my parents volunteered to do everything for me (I am so so grateful to them) and I have no worries (my mum is a perfectionist too =P and I trust her because her taste is just gonna be as great as mine). So the invitation cards is still laying on the table. His mum said "Chinese ghost month ar... pantang don't give the card now". I am like "Then? Bila mau bagi?". Seriously wth... what does the ghost month has gotta do with me... whatever!

There's still so many things I haven't do, pick my gown, jimui dress and heng tai clothes, the props, the thank you gift, the song list (thank God I just finalize my band for Malacca side) and so many more. It's driving me into Bridezilla mode it's just insane! I just wish I don't have to do all these stuff...

Anyway, guess you guys have nuff' of my grumbles. I'll continue some other day. Grumbling can be exhausting too. Here's some sneak preview of our Pre-weds. Enjoy!

Alvin Yang & Yuki Ng Saga

Heard of the Alvin & Yuki Saga? It's really hot topic among the bloggers. In a nutshell, guy proposed to girl and they about to get married ta-daaaa suddenly a 3rd party bitch came out of no where (Oh her name is Zoe Raymond) then the guy called off the wedding just 2 months before the big day.

It's a sad life story. If you read through yuki's blog or her fb page, everyone is calling ZR the bitch or biggest slut ever and the whole netizen sympathize on Yuki. I couldn't help but to kaypo about it too as I understand what Yuki is going through.

I think the whole point everyone is missing here is the guy (apparently went MIA) he should be the one to be blame. Personally, I could relate this experienced. It's not something nice but I guess it's lucky she found out earlier. Of coz' the point when the guy says he no longer has feeling for her is a huge lie, she already knew her existence (you could called it a girl's sixth sense). Guys out there who betrayed your lovers, WHY? Why couldn't you face and said you have another girl? Isn't it easier haha? Gosh back then I remembered that bastard aka my first ex blame it all to me when the relationship ended. Well, best of all the bastard said he has no other girl that time and even celebrated the V'day happily yet still acted like nothing (but of coz' I've sensed something was wrong back then and knew that he cheated on me AGAIN... haha yes once a thief always a thief). Therefore, I could really relate to Yuki's feeling. Even after we broke off, he still deliberately denied her existence (as we did meet up again at Times Square as he hugged me and said one last good bye) Until my friend accidentally meet them at some furniture shop told me about it and I thought to myself "I was right all a long... as I was blaming myself thinking it was my fault" (and he thought I stalked him LOL which is like WTF?). It took me sometime to move on, but I guess he made me stronger. What doesn't kills you make you stronger right? And I am counting my blessings that he betrayed me (2nd time haha I was dumb to forgive him the 1st time but well at least I tried right?)... if not I wouldn't have meet someone as nice and lovely as my hubby. I believe in Karma hahaha...

After all, we live in a world of 7 billion people... I don't think that we should fall in love just once. And to the Alvin guy... "there's karma in everything you do. God will make sure you pay twice as much as your sin... he will definitely take away something you treasure in the near future... and when it happened don't ask God why he choose YOU!"

Of coz' some of you will say love has no wrong or right and it cannot be force (I agree with that) but at least I think Yuki deserve to know the truth hmm... I still think Alvin is blind hahaha Zoe Raymond looks erk... ewwww hahaha! Well, I guess that's why there is a phrase of "Love is blind".

On the eve we had a blast at Kevin's house throwing bbq party, exchanging gifts, had some wine and we literally ate through the night. Reached home around 5am... My secret santa gave me a carton of Hoegaarden lolz sweet~ it was a fun and tired night! And because the pig who was tired refused to wake up on Christmas day! Slept through the day and only woke up by 5pm (Exactly 12hrs zzz), he practically ruined my shopping plan... and I was craving for Turkey tot I could have some. Sadly, it's just a tot.

A pig does what a pig does, as usual woke up and cry for food. So we left home for food hunt! Hmm we found this place called steakout. Order one giant pork knuckle as replacement for my Turkey, order a mushroom soup for me first coz I am dying of hunger... later then hubby order another carrot soup. I must say the food was yummeh~ Hubby love the porky so much lol and we tapao some for Cooper as his Christmas gift too lolz which he finished it off within seconds -.-". Oh well its a once in a blue moon treat.

Overall, hubby and I had a great awesome holiday spent with each other.

Innitially we didn't wanted to have a mass wedding and wanted the garden lake reception thingy but due to overwhelming respone we couldn't get ourselves a place. And I didn't want to do in Tian Hou Temple either because it difficult to get a number. So ended up no choice we change our ic to current add and did our 12.12.12 ROM in Putrajaya instead. I don't know if it's consider 'lucky' we are one of the 45 couples selected out of 114 couples to celebrate with our home minister and his wife. Oh I didn't know his wife a princess Pahang can be so slim and pretty. Anyway, it's such a tiring and busy day. Thanks to everyone who have helped out and who have came, we really felt so much love and really appreciate it! And so we were pronounced as husband and wife on the auspicious triple 12. Here's some pics the rest are still in RAW haven't got the time to edit anything.

We went back to Mlc to sort out our wedding venue... ended up with the new LTP as our choice. Not cheap for a restaurant... -.- after placing the booking, at last we finally got both venue decided... My wedding in Pg will be held at Gurney Hotel n Mlc we choose LTP coz he wanted the suckling piggy lolz. So after settling the stuff, we rushed to Mahkota to search for his pants. He needed a new pants for the coming rom... ahh 3 more days to come! Finally after rounds of trying he got himself a Padini suit n black pants. Then we headed to Geylang Lor9 his relative place together with his parents for some "tin kai chok" awesome porridge! As usual, we will lepak with the gamers at Dreams till morning. And by the time we got home everyone were asleep. To our surprise we saw something sweet was left on our bed, it was a little sweet prezzie by his 3 little cuzzie. Haha even got us a customize diy card so touching! It's our early wedding gift. Such a thoughtful gift and we love it!

I've gone shoe frenzy wahahahaha not only shoe, I have got a pair of lovely earings, a bracelet and a bag this time! Wahahaha my shoe cupboard is finally full! Yay! The gold heels is for my wedding planner Wendy she requested I got a pair for her hahaha! You wouldn't believe if I told you all the stuff only cost me RM160 LOL Omgawd the offer is just crazy price... you should head down RSH office the sales will be till 8th of Dec 2012. The best part of shopping spree is I got meet one of my very best friend who came down all the way from Penang to work. Yeah I knew she work for Nose all these while just a surprise to see her there. With Christal, Chrn Theng, her sis and colls, of coz me too we headed to Mentari for dinner after they finished work! It was definitely a fun reunion for us.

Woke up on the usual morning, laying around goleking on my bed while fb-ing thinking it will just be another anniversary celebration... and there's when I was wrong... my first surprise came by knocking on the door... my breakfast ehem more like brunch was served to me! The surprise doesn't stop just there, darling told me he needed to go down car to take his lappy for work and said he might be busy the rest of the day due to some deals he has to follow up. Just when I thought okay maybe we will just have a simple dinner celebration as agreed, he came up with a bouquet of beautiful red roses handed them to me! I was already having a big cheesy smile on my face! Then the moment I got shocked when he welcome a new family member I was screaming out of joy! My very own TED! A huge human size TED! Omgawd... so much love from him. It's an awesome anniversary gift... I am so lucky to have him in my life!

Yay!!! I've finally made... me... my own boss... it is definitely a super tough journey but I'm getting the hang of it! I'm out from the corporate world climbing ranking thingy and now I'm with the people business.

Someone once told me, "Do things difficult and differently, life would be easy. If you go easy on yourself, life would be hard on you." This powerful wisdom has definitely changed my life. I never dream about me being so hard working. NEVER!!! Imagine waking up super duper early everyday even weekends and go to bed early. No more online games as I really cut down tremendously. It's sooo not me!!! I usually see like five customers in a month, close four out of it then I go home and sleep or lepak the rest of the month.

"Excuses are for losers. Winners change obstacles to opportunities!" Now being my own boss I can no longer do that because I pay my own salary. Good news is my effort is worth every penny! I'm loving my new career path and I will definitely be out from the rat race soon!

I would love to thank my hubby for everything he has done. Without his love and support I would not get this far. Love you muacks!

Pig Dude Dog Buddy (T.B) 3.0 Sekeping Serendah

Over the weekend, a group of friends decided to head over for Sekeping Serendah Retreat at Rawang Jungle lolz. It was our 3.0 team building session. It was definitely an awesome experience. Imagine staying in an open space with dogs wondering around, sleeping with cricket noises, mosquito and other insects (no fear because we have Fumakilla), away from Facebook and the phone (Celcom definitely have their territory covered into the jungle, Maxis left one bar, DiGi is just horrible), BBQ party at night with a bunch of friends. A weekend feel with relaxation and laughter, I definitely recommend this place to everyone.

*Note: It's not a place for homey people, not a place for princesses, not a place for people that is afraid of dirt.

We start off having our port luck lunchy by the waterfall. Then we head to our barrack. The theme was warehouse. I love the glass shed better. Timber shed was okay. The pool was awesome though. Mountain water haha cool and refreshing. All of us jump into it and have lots of fun. We had our BBQ session at our barrack. Overall, darling and I have fun with our buddies.

Hard Cheese for me!

A month of misfortune events...

I fell hard and bad! On the same day my sis have an accident. We are not even twins yet we share the same fate. In the most crucial month to chase for my Munich trip, I had to fall. I bleed but thank God I did not have a face plant nor I hit my head on the pavement. Initially, I thought it was a sprained joint. Pandai pandai I had the ice put on my injured leg the whole night. Oh and I climb fifth floor limping all the way up just right after the fall.

Just when the smart me who refuse to see a doc thinking the pain will go away n heal by itself, my leg gotten worst. It was swollen like miku! I was temporary unable to walk. I felt terrible, sleepless nights due to the intense pain... I felt like taking a chain saw just like in the SAW movie to cut it off.

With the intense pain I had to find the Chinese tit ta sifu. Went back to Malacca and the sifu corrected my bones alignment lolz. So it wasn't a sprained joint, my ankle was dislocated. Apparently, my leg's alignment lari swt! And I got scolded for using cold water lolz the sifu said in Chinese "you think you're running Olympics are? Ice is only to tahan pain temporary and because I had it whole night the blood clots from the damage tissues frozen around my leg which is bad.

With my cacat leg I was unable to do shit. My work and business productivity was badly effected. It was a huge disappoinment. on the bright side, I work from home for a week. Received Princess treatment from darling. He did pratically everything for me from cook, wash, clean LoL!

Had to wear ankle protector to prevent further injury.

Shogun for his Birthday!

First n foremost, Happy Birthday to darling and uncle Edel who is celebrating his 30th birthday...

We went Shogun Sunway for the buffet dinner. That place was like heaven of food for him being the big eater. Tones of good food from sushi to cheese baked everything scallop, escargot, fresh osyter, roasted beef and lamb! It was yum yum all the way!

Then we went around shopping for wedding bands found a pair which we both really like. So we kinda put some deposit since its refundable if we decided on others later on.

Later then, we catch Madagascar 3. (No other better movies) overall it was a sweet day spent with him. We both took leave from D3 Sdn Bhd lolz...

Another good news is darling got his first deal within a month so proud of him! Wohoo!

A weekend of joy and happiness spent at Johor, celebrating our Dai kar jie's wedding. The night before darling and I were playing Diablo 3 till the next day morning. We camp at cc for 11hours LOL! We were like walking zombies after that... anyway it was an awesome weekend. The food was delicious. Oh we have bird nest for dessert hehe and everyone were having fun. Among us only Ah yee and I could make it to the wedding. We were Ah dai's ji mui along with her few other leng lui school mates. Our theme we go BERSIH lolz yellow is the IN colour. Darling ended meeting his friend at the makan session. The friend apparently were course mate. World is really small. Oh the ji muisss got pretty big ang paos from the games we had in the morning with the heng tais. Here are some shots taken...

Mission Complete - In search of the Devil

Darling, Edel and I kena poision kau kau hehe by the famous Diablo 3. Initially we all thought of waiting for the expansion pack. All said will power damn strong can tahan... but ended is semangat strong going around sourcing for the box lolz! I bought darling the game as his birthday prezzie... and he paid mine coz he doesn't want me bugging him lolz! I'm playing the wizard, his is the monk and Edel being a range player he is taking the demon hunter. Ngek~ngek~ngek~ fun time!

I've bought another bag =) my latest collection haha! Woke up early to collect it from Skynet. My friend has sent it to me earlier, suppose to get it a day before but stupid Skynet staff / delivery man delivered to the wrong house. I was pretty pissed off at their service. Thank God that my bag wasn't damage, stolen, lost or anything. After receiving it safely, I was happy in the morning but my happiness didn't last long.... due to the stupid weather these days... >.<

The weather is getting hotter and hotter these days... I hate stepping out from my air-con house T_T but darling wanted to yum cha with friends so we were kinda stuck at Oldtown White Coffee Sunway. I was like the ice literally melting... and the weather did put me in a grumpy mood.

On our way to Sunway, we went through Jalan Kewajipan darling notice something which we never really seen before. It's the Subang Jaya's traffic light. Yupz... I'm not kidding. We were amazed by the red light LOL! We spotted a red heart shape traffic light. I find it pretty cute. Here check it out yourself.

Anyway, after the yum cha session... I wanted to have StickHouse Ice-cream due to the hot days but then Sunway Pyramid being Sunway Pyramid is packed during the weekends. So we decided to head home and hibernate. Slept through the evening woke up hungry... and thirsty hmm having *Hoegaarden* in mind hehe~! So right now I'm gonna go "yee yan sai kai & chan toi kiok" with darling. Chaoz for now!

On 428 I woke up 7 early 8 early, took the LRT,

Joined the Yellow Green Fever Party.

Walked a thousand steps, from KLCC to Masjid Jamek.

Duduk-ed and Chanted,

BERSIH! BERSIH! HIDUP BERSIH!

BERSIH! BERSIH! HIDUP RAKYAT!

BERSIH! BERSIH! STOP LYNAS!

Sang Negaraku multiple times,

Felt the true spirit MALAYSIA BOLEH!

Felt the true spirit of Democracy!

I've never felt so Bersatu-hati!

Tear gas were shot at us continuously for multiple times.

We ran and we cried multiple times.

But we stood tall and we fight,

continue to believe in FAIR & CLEAN elections,

continue to fight for our freedom.

Free our country from corruptions,

Free the media from manipulations,

Free our children's lives from chemical pollutions.

Semangat kuat from all Malaysians!

A big congratulation and a big kudos to all of you that attended,

I believe the picture says it all... wohoo~ I got the tix! Funny how I que on the 28th April 2012 and wanted the 11th May show but the counter fella got me the 12th May! Even better previously they said the 12th May tix ran out fast but ta-daa I got the 12th May tix. Wtf right? Until I checked the tix and realize the date then she was like ar... give me the "I don't know" look! I was a little pissed at first but then oh well many others were even much more pissed than me coz' they couldn't get the tix. I'm talking about RUSSELL PETERS show duh! Cost him a bomb for a PLATINUM tix! Hehehe can't wait for the show! =)
