HP printers often have built-in functions that allow the printer to recognize when the ink cartridge is low. To recognize the level of the ink cartridge, the printer must read information from a chip that is built into the cartridge. When HP refill cartridge with a chip, as an HP 94 color cartridge instead of buying a new cartridge, the chip can fail to show proper reading of ink, making it impossible for the printer to read the level ink cartridge. You can solve this problem by resetting the cartridge chip.

Instructions
things you need: HP 93, HP 94 cartridge refill, 2 additional HP 93, HP 94 cartridges

1 Place the HP 93, HP 94 cartridge to fill, or that the printer can not read in the printer. When you place the cartridge into the printer, it asks if you want to print a test page. Click "Yes" to print the test page with the cartridge.
2 Remove the cartridge refilling of the printer and set aside, make sure the contacts on the bottom of the cartridge do not touch any surface. Place a second HP 94 HP printer cartridge. Again, when asked to print the test page, click "Yes" and allow the page to print.
3 Remove the second HP 93, HP 94cartridge from the printer and get the third HP 94 cartridge in the printer. Click "Yes" in the message that appears when you print a test page with third-party cartridge. Once the test page is printed, remove the third-party cartridge from the printer.
4 Returns the first cartridge that the printer could not be read into the printer. Print a test page. The HP must recognize the HP 93, HP 94 cartridge as a new cartridge and the ink in the printer must be reset

Tag: Reset HP 93 Color Cartridge, reset HP 94 Color Cartridge

HOW RESET HP 60 INK CARTRIDGE AFTER REFILL

How to reset hp 60 ink cartridge after refill ? While refilling your HP 60 ink cartridges can save you money, you can create a problem if the HP monitors the amount of ink remaining in each cartridge. Printers that monitor ink cartridge levels automatically when a new cartridge is installed. However, with the filling of cartridges HP 60, the printer system often is not automatically reset, which causes the printer to show a "low ink" message even when the cartridge is full. To avoid this problem, you must reset the cartridge ink levels after each recharge.

Instructions
things you need: HP 60 ink cartridge, Tape

Extra Cartridge Method

1 Buy two new HP cartridges 60. While a Hewlett Packard (HP) inkjet cartridge can be refilled easily, getting it to work again in the printer is another matter. The contacts on the back of the cartridge are programmed to read the ink level, but they don't reset for the printer just because you add more ink. You must get the printer to recognize the cartridge as new. You can do this easily if you have two other old cartridges, or you can manipulate the contacts on the refilled cartridge.

Instructions
things you'll need: Adhesive tape

1 Insert the cartridge you refilled into the HP printer. Have the printer print an alignment page, thus recognizing the cartridge. The printer will still read the ink level as where it was before you refilled it.
2 Remove the cartridge from the printer and replace it with another old cartridge. Have the printer print an alignment page with this cartridge so it recognizes it as a different cartridge from the first one.
3 Replace the second cartridge with a third one and run the same alignment page. Because the printer only retains the memory of two print cartridges, it will erase the memory of the first (refilled) cartridge.
4 Insert the refilled cartridge into the printer. The printer will now recognize the cartridge as being full.
5 Tape over the contact squares on the top left corner of the cartridge's contacts. Insert the cartridge into the printer and run an alignment page. Ignore any messages that might appear saying there is a problem with the cartridge.
6 Take the cartridge out of the printer. Remove the tape from the left corner and tape over the contact squares on the top right corner. Place the cartridge back in and run another alignment page.
7 Remove and reinsert the cartridge, this time with no tape on any of the contacts. Check to see if the printer recognizes the cartridge as being full.
8 Repeat the above steps if the cartridge is still shown as being empty. This time, use the bottom corner contact squares instead of the top ones. If you are still unable to reset the cartridges, using multiple cartridges is likely the only way to do it.

Tag: How to Reset an HP Inkjet Printer Cartridge

HOW RESET HP 2015 PRINTER

How to Reset the HP 2015 Printer ? At this point the ink level status should be zero, which shows "complete."

Tag: How to Reset the Cartridge Level After Filling Up the HP Print Cartridge

HOW TO REFILL HP 940C PRINTER INK CARTRIDGE

How to Refill an HP 940C Ink Cartridge,
Hewlett-Packard 940C printer is a color inkjet printer that is compatible with Windows-based PCs and Macintosh. The 940C uses the HP No. 15 black ink cartridge and HP No. 78 ink cartridge tri-color. The color cartridge has three separate ink chambers for cyan, magenta and yellow. When ink is low on each cartridge, you can fill as a more cost effective to replace the cartridge.

Instructions
things you need:
Short needles and syringes with blunt
Black, cyan, magenta and yellow ink-jet filling
Ink Cartridge 1.16 inch screw
Paper towels
Push pin

1 Place the cartridges on a flat surface with some paper towels under them to collect spilled ink.
2 Place the black cartridge No. 15 for the bottom is facing up. Remove the plastic film covering the ball bearing. Push the ball bearing with small allen wrench until there is sufficient space to allow the syringe needle to enter.
3 Fill a syringe with 30 ml of black ink refill. Place a short blunt needle. Insert the needle into the fill hole that was covered earlier by the ball bearing.
4 Slowly inject ink into the cartridge.
5 Squeeze sides of cartridge to create a vacuum. Screw the 1/16th inch set in place in the hole until flush with the bottom of the cartridge. Loosen the sides of the cartridge.
6 Place the No. 78 color cartridge to the top of the cartridge up and the "Hewlett-Packard" logo side is up.
7 Click on the three plastic plugs into the top of the cartridge with a pin to pull off.
8 Fill a syringe with 8 ml of yellow ink. Insert the needle into the hole on the left side. Inject 3 ml of ink on the bottom of the ink chamber. Raise the needle to inject a bit the other 5 ml in the middle of the ink chamber.
9 Fill a syringe with 8 ml of magenta ink. Insert the needle into the center hole. The ink is injected in the same way the yellow ink is injected.
10 Fill a syringe with 8 ml of cyan. Insert the needle into the hole on the right side. The ink is injected in the same manner as the other two colors.
11 Tighten the two rounds over paper towels for five minutes to catch any leaking ink. Do not allow the printhead to touch the paper towel or directly to base the ink cartridges.
12 Replace the black and color cartridges in the HP 940C printer. These printers allow companies to share resources, reduce costs by eliminating the need to purchase individual desktop printers for each office. But in order to maintain good working printers, operators need to ensure that the toner cartridges are changed regularly. When the print quality begins to fade, change the toner cartridge will restore the previous print quaity.

Instructions
things you need:
Printer
Ink Cartridge

1 Open the toner cover and carefully lift the toner cartridge from the printer. Leave the toner cartridge aside for recycling.
2 Remove the new toner cartridge from its box and remove any packing material. HP makes these packaging materials orange or green in color making them easy to find. When unpacking the new toner cartridge, be sure to find the label of recycling, a prepaid label that lets you return the used cartridge for recycling.
3 Slide the new toner cartridge into the printer until it snaps into place. Close the toner cartridge. If the toner cartridge is not installed properly, the door will not close.
4 Send a print job to the printer and check print quality. If the paper is blank, remove the cartridge and make sure they have got rid of all packaging materials.
