În câteva minute, hidrogenul şi heliul care sunt elemente mai ușoare, au luat formă prin procesul numit nucleosinteză. Elementele mai grele nu au apărut decât mai târziu, după ce elementele mai ușoare au trecut prin fuziune în interiorul stelelor şi în timpul supernovelor. În timp stelele au trimis valuri de elemente mai grele în spaţiu, ce include oxigenul, unde s-au amestecat cu elementele mai ușoare.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;Deci nu, apa nu a existat în momentul Big-Bang-ului. H2O nu poate exista nici în stele, dar hidrogenul şi oxigenul separate, da. Hidrogenul este materialul principal din care este construit Universul, creat în Big-Bang. Oxigenul este creat prin reacţii nucleară în stele.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;Dacă pui hidrogenul şi oxigenul în spațiul rece, rezultatul este H2O. Culoarea acesteia este albastru-alb ceea ce o face mai uşor de recunoscut şi de admirat pe cerul nopții de observatorii astronomici din emisfera nordică.&lt;br /&gt;

Toate stelele au culori, dar sunt prea şterse pentru a fi detectate de ochiul uman, însă în cazul stelei Vega, aceasta este destul de strălucitoare încât culoarea este vizibilă şi clară. Culoarea unei stele este un indiciu a temperaturii acesteia. Deşi credem că albastru este o culoare rece, iar roşu este fierbinte, în cazul stelelor este tocmai invers: cu cat o stea este mai albastră, cu atât temperatura de la suprafața ei este mai mare. Vega, are o temperatură de 9,600 grade celsius, considerabil mai mare decât cea a soarelui nostru.&lt;/div&gt;

Distanţa acestei stele faţă de soarele nostru este de doar 25 ani lumină, iar în prezent, are mai mult decât de două ori din masa soarelui şi luminozitatea ei este de 40 x mai mare. Vega, împreună cu soarele nostru, Sirius şi Arcturus, sunt cele mai strălucitoare stele din regiunea în care ne aflăm.&lt;/div&gt;

Strălucirea Vegăi este cauzată de două lucruri: este foarte aproape de noi, şi este strălucitoare &amp;nbsp;oricum, fiind mai luminoasă decât soarele nostru.&lt;br /&gt;

Ca o chestiune interesantă, acum circa 12 000 de ani Î.d.H, Vega a fost steaua nordului, şi va fi iar prin anul 13,727. De asemenea, este prima stea fotografiată vreodată, şi una dintre primele stele a cărei distanţă a fost estimată prin paralaxă.&lt;br /&gt;

În vremurile antice, în catalogul de stele al lui Ptolemeu din secolul 2, Vega era numită Lyra, adică numele constelației. Lyra era un instrument muzical asemănător cu o harpă mică. Aceasta reprezenta harpa lui Orpheus, un erou legendar grec care a mers până în lumea de dincolo pentru aşi recupera iubirea pierdută, Eurydice.&lt;/div&gt;

&lt;br /&gt;
Această nebuloasă inelară, este probabil unul din obiectele cele mai observate de astronomii amatori, şi apare vizual ca un cerculeţ de fum alb, luminat de steaua din centrul acesteia.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Pentru a fi recunoscută mai ușor de observatorii printr-un telescop, M57 se află mai exact la sudul stelei Vega. Este prea mică pentru a o distinge prin binoclu. Cel mai eficient este să fie observată printr-un telescop de cel puţin 8" (20 cm), însă inelul poate fi văzut şi printr-unul de 3". Interiorul nebuloasei poate fi detectat doar cu un telescop de 10", iar steaua din centrul acesteia, cu unul mai mare.&lt;br /&gt;

Această stea este cea mai strălucitoare din constelaţia Ursa Minoris (Ursa Mică) şi este de 4,5x mai mare ca soarele nostru. Ca o chestiune interesantă despre Polaris, este că face parte dintr-un sistem stelar triplu, Polaris A, B şi AB (o stea pitică). Între A ( Steaua Nordului) şi AB, este o distanţă ca de la Soare la Uranus.&lt;br /&gt;
