After all the whirlwind media on the alleged affair of David, one would expect Victoria to be a bit off celter. You will be very wrong! She took it in her stride.

Victoria Beckham is one of those celebrities that everybody both loves and hates. Vic established herself as the cool and calm girl in the now-defunct girl group Spice Girls. She added to the cool girl persona with her excellent taste in clothes. Even after the Spice Girls demise, Posh kept on shining in the limelight. Two things kept her there, she is married to David Beckham and she is extremely stylish.

Since the Spice Girls disbanded, Victoria Beckham dabbled with a rather unsuccessful solo singing career, a stint as a talk show host, and an attempt at writing a book. It does sometimes seem as if Victoria has no real talent to offer. She is a great mother to her three children and it seems a lovely wife. This changed when she designed a very cool limited jeans line for Rock Republic. We are well down the road from the launch date, but Harvy Nichols is still selling dVB's like crazy.

The 5th of September this year not only ushered in the New York Fashion Week, but also the birth of a new Victoria Beckham as couture designer extraordinaire. In a private showing at the Waldorf Hotel in Park Avenue, Victoria Beckham unveiled her debut fashion collection under her own label, VB, to a select group of retailers and fashion editors.

The word of the day was 'classy', and that was exactly what Victoria Beckham's pieces were! All 10 of her original designs showed the designer's partiality to fitted dresses with raised waistlines and mid-calf lengths - the same styles that she's been sporting lately to great effect.

Victoria Beckham's use of fabrics like silk, organza, and wool was impressive, but it was her attention to detail that had spectators reeling with admiration. Not only do her designs look tasteful, she's also taken measures to avoid vulgar wardrobe malfunctions with such subtle details like inner grosgrain waistbands and folded tucks along the bustline, to name a few. Indeed, Victoria Beckham knows all about the subtle nuances of wearing a dress - like what makes it photograph well, or how to make a corset bearable for hours on end - and she's sharing her expertise to all and sundry, a gesture that's not lost to fans and critics alike.

It goes without saying that the first VB collection was very well received, and has already been taken on by Harvey Nichols, while negotiations are underway between the designer and other retailers. Posh is also currently designing a handbag line for Samantha Tharasa.

Good press, bad press - who cares? Definitely not Victoria Beckham. The collection was very well received. If this is an indication of things to come, VB is set on the road of designer!

Hair extensions might seem like a new invention but in reality hair additions have been around as far back as the Egyptian times when both men and women work wigs. Since then hair pieces have been in and out of fashion ever since.

In 1800 fake hair was frowned upon and women left their hair to be natural until the Romantic era was in full swing when women wore elaborate Apollo knots. Come the mid Victorian era and hair pieces were used a lot more extensively. Then strangely in the early 20th century Edwardian women wore false hair additions to create the pompadour hairstyle which looked like a woman was wearing a teapot on her head. How that became fashionable I don't really know!

Around the 1920's less hair was the big thing so hair pieces took a dive around that time and it wasn't until the 1940s when long hair came back into fashion and women starting indulging again. Then in the 1960's big hair was back with a vengeance. Coils were the in thing or the updo as better known to us were seen of many women, this was created by very extravagant human hair pieces. Wigs made from real or fake hair were commonly worn around this time too and carried on into the early 70's. Come the 80's and big hair was in but only natural hair. Famous singers wore wigs but that was about it.

In the 1990's hair pieces or wigs became a lot more affordable to everyone, not just the rich and famous. The famous spice girl Victoria Beckham has been credited for the latest fashion of human hair extensions. When she first got together with her now husband David Beckham it was a time when public interest in the couple was at a all time high and they were both photographed all the time and would be found on the cover or most newspapers and magazines. With this sort of publicity everything about the couple was scrutinised. At that time pictures of Victoria were on the front of every paper or magazine with many different hair styles on view. Some days she had short hair, the next she had long and it was obviously these styles were created thanks to hair extensions. There are different types of adhesive including wax, glue, or heat all of which are not that great for your hair. When it comes to removing the extensions chemicals are needed and these can often leave hair damaged. Another option is to have the hair weaved on. It is known as 'wafting' and is a much safer option as no chemicals are needed.

The clip-on hair extensions come in a variety of different colours and lengths are the best option for non permanent extensions. They are very easy to use and as long as you get the right hair colour and texture of hair, no one will know your hair is fake. In fact I have sat next to a work colleague for months not realising that her long hair was in fact clip on hair extensions. It was only whilst getting ready for our Christmas works do that she pulled her hair off! I was shocked to say the least as her natural hair was just shoulder length and I had no idea.

Big-named guest stars seem to line up to be on the set of the highly-watched Ugly Betty, which stars America Ferrera and Vanessa Williams. First, there was Posh Spice Victoria Beckham, the former pop star and current wife of football hottie, David Beckham, who brought along her kids Brooklyn , Romeo and Cruz to the shoot. Her stint has barely ended when rumors of Lindsay Lohan appearing on Ugly Betty proliferated all over the media.

Details to come later, as we need to cover the spoilers for tonight's episode, "A Nice Day for a Posh Wedding.”

Wilhelmina Slater is to face the altar with Meade Publication's founder himself, Bradford Meade, when her own maid of honor, Victoria Beckham, seems to be stealing the limelight. Of course, being the Slater that she is, Wilhelmina won't let this incident pass by just like that, and she is ready to show Victoria who the real star of the wedding is.

Meanwhile, Betty is being eaten up by guilty after she had a secret arrangement with Wilhelmina, who told her to keep it from Daniel. Betty also knows about Wilhelmina's clandestine liaison with her bodyguard, who is played by Vanessa William's real life ex-husband, Rick Fox. Back at the Suarez residence, Betty's father is looking forward to getting his U.S. citizenship, but is saddened at Betty's decision of moving in with her new boyfriend, Henry.

Catch the latest episode of Ugly Betty's season 2 tonight on ABC. As for Lindsay's Ugly Betty stint, TV Squad reported that unnamed sources on the set of the show have been talking about Lohan's representatives, who seem to be in negotiation with the producers. They said that the young actress might be having a three-episode arc in the series, portraying her as an assistant manager of the fast food joint where Betty's father works. Lohan's character will be an ex-high school beauty queen who is forced into a job after encountering hard times. Betty feels for the plight of the young girl and offers her a job at Mode. This much has circulated, but as for Lohan's final say on this matter, fans will have to sit and wait.

Victoria Beckham, the wife of football player David Beckham and former Spice Girl, has admitted that she always dresses up, especially when she’s out in public. Victoria revealed that, “If I go to the supermarket looking like [expletive] ... that affects my work. I am selling an image.” Recently, she’s been to her native country to sell her collection, with reports indicating that they’ve been doing very well.

Victoria Beckham, known to fans as Posh Spice, launched her new collection at the Selfridges department store. Press reports revealed that, “Selfridges, which bought 58 of the dresses, has exclusive selling rights until next month, when dresses go on sale in Harrods, as well as Bergdorf Goodman and Neiman Marcus in the USA, and Restir in Tokyo.” Receiving 17 of the dresses so far, an insider tells that by 3pm on their first day on sale - only three dresses were left unsold.”

In recent weeks, Victoria has also seemed to lose weight due to David’s impending move to Italy to play for AC Milan. A source reported that, “She’s losing weight because of the stress of him moving away and the next few months will be tough on both of them,” The source added, “When they first talked about him going, I don’t think she thought twice about it. But now that it’s been announced and everyone has had their say, it’s become upsetting… Victoria seemed stunned that people have suggested David might be off as soon as he got the opportunity. Any woman would feel paranoid with all that speculation. It’s gutting for her that people would think that.”

Still, Victoria has mentioned in the past that she has a tendency to ignore what other people say and has chosen to cultivate the close personal relationships she has instead. She opened up in an interview and revealed, “I don’t really care what people think. I never made friends easily. For years, when I was in the Spice Girls, those were my four best friends and we stuck up for each other. Now I’ve got David. Nothing has ever come particularly naturally to me. It’s made me a hard worker and very disciplined. I get it from my dad.” Regarding what seems to be Mrs. Beckham’s perpetual scowl, Victoria explained, “I have started smiling. I’ve mastered this smirk; it’s a smile that isn’t a smile.”

Things To Do In Victoria B.C. Canada: Royal London Wax Museum

In the heart of the tourist district of Victoria on Vancouver Island sits the Royal London Wax Museum. For a small entrance fee you get at least an hours worth of history and awe.

We were not planning on visiting the museum. But we had some time to kill and it is a good thing we did. We had a great time. The place is actually very misleading. When we entered all we saw were a couple rooms and what they call Royalty Row. Here they had wax dummies of several of Englands royalty. The most popular is the dummy of Princess Diana. After you view Royalty Row we thought that was it. And we were pissed off. We were actually thinking of asking for our money back. But at the very end, on the right side was a door. As we went through the door, we learned that there was a lot more to the museum than we first thought.

The different areas of the museum contained different dummies. Some of the areas are Royalty Row where they have the wax dummies of England Royalty past and present, Great Leaders, where they have famous leaders of the world like Mahatma Gandhi, The Galaxy of Stars, where they have famous celebrities like Elvis Presley, Storybook land, where they have dummies of a few favorite fairy tales, and The Chamber of Horrors, where they show in detail the methods used for torture and imprisonment throughout history.

Our favorite was definitely the Chamber of Horrors. We liked it more for the history lesson than for the dummies. They had scenes displayed and a short explanation of what was displayed. Some of the displays were the Pit and the Pendulum. This is a torture device where the prisoner is laid on his back and tied down inside a pit. A sharp blade is then swung back and forth like a pendulum to cut the prisoner. As the blade cuts through the prisoner it gets lower and lower until the person is cut in half.

The other amazing torture display was The Hook. This was a large sharp metal Hook that was struck through the prisoner. He would be left there suspended in air until he bled to death. It would take several hours to die in this manner. As you read this you are probably shocked that humans can be so cruel to one another. But when you see the display, it almost makes you sick. The wax dummies are not exactly life like, but pretty close. And the displays are very gruesome.

As you leave the dungeon of the Chamber of Horrors, you enter Storybook Land, with dummies of Walt Disney and Alice in Wonderland. What a change. From horror to fairly tales. The display of the Last Supper was great as well. That was my second favorite display after the Chamber of Horrors.

While we were not impressed by the wax figures in the wax museum, we did enjoy it.

And as you leave the museum you end up in the gift/candy shop. And this shop has several British candy favorites. There were a lot of great treats here that are not available elsewhere. You owe it to yourself to check it out.

We're not trying to be insensitive here, but can someone please explain to us how it is at all possible for Heather Mills and her prosthetic leg to successfully get around town in what Victoria Beckham would, no doubt, describe as major (or: "mayjah") shoes?

The Daily Mail caught the ex of Sir Paul McCartney trotting out of the SoHo House in New York with these babies strapped to her feet -- and these sky-high platforms actually made us think of Posh Spice circa her glorious be-sequined Spice World days (but hey, we're not fashion critics over here).

But how does she do it? Perhaps those fierce front desk "bouncers" at the SoHo House are there to make sure nobody really finds out what kind of magic happens beyond that fabled front desk. (Or maybe not, since we've crossed into that world and had nothing to report except an encounter with a cheeseburger. Which was neither magical nor noteworthy. And we did not walk out with crazy footwear. Just a bit of heartburn, really.)
