I AM BECOMING AN AFFILIATE MASTER!

I am becoming a high-earning affiliate champion.
How? By "building income through content", using the proven strategy C-T-P-M way!
I learnt by books, that affiliate business is one of the easiest ways to get my feet wet in e-business. Truly, I have since being enjoying the dividends of this knowledge.

WHAT IS AFFILIATE?

I send visitors (i.e.; to potential customers) to a merchant's website that I represent. If they buy or complete a required action (for instance fills a form), the merchant pays me commission. No fuss, no muss!
This actually is the beauty of the affiliate concept. I am up and building an online business in record time, at minimal risk. Top-notched merchants supply everything (i.e. excellent products, ordering, credit card processing, and delivery). All I need to do is to put myself in the path between customers and quality merchants and earn a commission for my efforts.
So, what is the best way to put myself on that critical pathway?
I follow the natural, proven way (CONTENT-TRAFFIC-PRESELL-MONETIZE.) process.
1. I recognize the fundamental reality of how people use the web. I eliminate offline thinking of "location, location, location. Online people search for solutions through "information, information, information" (i.e. content). So, I build a Highly-Niched-Theme-Based content site.
2. I do the critical up-front thinking and planning:
I brainstorm the most profitable topics related to my theme.
I select the best related affiliate programs.
3. Then I put myself into the click path of my visitors by:
Delivering customer focused content which is information that meets the needs/wishes of my target group.
I get targeted traffic to find me. More traffic means more potential sales, which invariably means more potential commission for me.
PREselling: I warm up my visitors through valuable content that establishes credibility. My recommendations carry more weight and become an authority to my visitors as a result of this credibility.
The difference in conversion Rate between visitors who arrived presold to my merchant's site via an in-context text links vs. banner can be as high as 20-fold.
4. I eliminate dependency on any single source of income by diversifying into other complementary monetization models beyond affiliate programs. I reduce risks by so doing and increase stability. I am protected in case, for instance, my merchant partner goes bankrupt, or shuts down its web division, or reduces commission, or fails on its payments. This multiple streams also have the potential to make every visitor to my website count. A particular offer might not spark any interest but another one may be the match that lights the fire!
This whole successful affiliate marketing is as a result of C-T-P-M process.
I create searched-for content (the "C") that pulls in targeted traffic ("T") Warm up (i.e. presale) my visitors so that they click on my recommendations with an open to buy attitude. (The "P"). and then I generate income through those presold visitors (i.e. monetized) using the low risk affiliate model as a primary source of income just in case I do not have a product or services of mine own to sale or as a profitable secondary source ( the "M").
Do you think this process is difficult?
Not at all! Though, I do keep in mind that this is not a "get-rich -quick" scheme. I bring effort and passion to the table. After all, I am building a more than a website. I am building real BIG business!
C-T-P-M works as I work it!
I made this my affiliate business mantra and I succeed!
I understood deeply the concept of C-T-P-M culminating with the concept of preselling to maximize conversion Rates.
With this goal in mind
1.1. I focus on maximizing profit
I know that the goal of any business, including my affiliate business is to maximize profits. Profit is simply my income minus my expenses.
I know that there are two basic ways to increase my income (i.e., the amount of money my business makes)
1.) For me to refer more visitors to the merchants that I represent.
2.) For me to increase the conversion rate (i.e., the percentage of visitors that I refer to my merchant … visitors who deliver the response for which the merchant pays, whether that’s a sale, or a lead, etc.)
I apply simple formula, if I refer 100 visitors per day to a merchant and 1% buy, I get paid for one purchase. But if I send 1,000 visitors per day and 3% buy, I get paid for 30 purchases.
Yes, that means thirty times more! So it’s pretty clear how to maximize my affiliate income!
Of course I do know that every business has expenses too. Maximizing profit does not imply that I must minimize expenses too. After all, if I spend no money or time on a business, I have no business! So, I must get the best possible traffic-building and sales-converting results for every dollar I spend… and for every hour I spend on my business.
I know time is money. I don’t count my hours as zero cost simply because they do not cost me “out of pocket”. So I assign my time a dollar value. This puts my affiliate business on a solid professional “business footing”.
To examine expenses I asked myself two questions…
Question #1- what does it cost to build traffic to my merchants’ account site?
I realized that Traffic-building no matter how I cut it, will cost me… in terms of both time and money. Spending dollars to get traffic is optional, but spending time is not.
I know that, there are many ways, both offline and online, to drive targeted traffic to my merchants’ sites. (More details on the most highly profitable, time-and-dollar-effective way to build traffic to merchants’ sites later).
I build my own Theme-Based-Content Site- one that is loaded with high information value keyword-Focused Content pages that rank well with the Search Engines and that get the “click through” to my merchants’ sites.
Let me break it down for a closer examination. For my affiliate web site to generate targeted traffic to my merchants, it must do two things well…
1) Rank well at the search Engine so that it pulls in lots of targeted traffic. So far, though the traffic is still on my site. Therefore, it’s not generating income yet. My visitors are just” looking around.’ So…
2) I get those visitors to click through to my merchants, (some affiliate program models actually place merchant offerings on my web site. In this case, my traffic does not actually visit my merchants’ site. But I still have to “get the click” to generate income.)
Now the second question about expenses…
Question #2- What does it cost me to maximize conversion Rates?
Good news! Maximizing my conversion Rate (CR) is simply a question of doing things right. I know that there is no extra dollar or time cost to boosting CRs at my merchants’ sites.
