Howdy. I apologize for not being able to update my blog for months. I have been really busy with school lately and I have a Feasibility Study to catch up on, and with the exams just around the corner and class reports here and there I haven't had too much time to blog.

Pink Cambridge Satchel Bag

So today, I am going to share my latest fab for the month of January :D My 13 inch Pink Cambridge Satchel bag. :D Apparently, this is a knock off fofthe outrageously expensive Cambridge Bags which are prized at P 10,000 + I am not really a bag person but when I saw this one online, I instantly fell in love with it that I had to ask my cousin to send me a locally made one. :D It features an extended front pocket and long strap, and it comes in a very cute pink shade :D I was able to put all my school stuff in it that includes my thick Applied Auditing Book by Cabrera, wallet, pouch, pencil case, my qwerty nokia phone, my eyeglasses, two notebooks. Perfect bag for my school stuff! Who would say not to this locally made satchel ?

My Fibrella Umbrella

So I bought myself an en expensive umbrella only to be lost after a week of using it. Grrrr. At Php 400, this umbrella is not of course the most expensive umbrella in the world but unfortunately it's a bit expensive already by my standards. I cried my heart out when I realize I lost it in a fastfood chain. Not because of the expensive umbrella alone but more because of the fact that I did it again!! I cant count anymore the number of umbrellas I have lost in my life. It's so disappointing to know it happens all the time. I felt bad and was on a foul mood for two days. I swear to myself that I will never spend so much money on an umbrella again just to be sure I don't lose one again . Umbrellas are made to be lost.

Got My Glasses

This week has been so tiresome and painful for me. Aghhhhh. Looks like my school endurance skills didn't serve me well. Yesterday, I had been berating and blaming myself for attending my 3-hour class the other day. Worst of all, I haven't lost weight like I'd like as far as the scale shows, but I felt "sexier" haha. Give me a huge Wohooo here! :D Noticed that some changes like my clothing is a bit looser. That's maybe because I don't eat between meals anymore. No more sweets and burgers. Hello savings!

Because this is my last sem in college it made me start to get more serious about rethinking my life as it currently stands. Oh no, am I getting wiser? or just the grown-up version of myself. Either way, I'm feeling good and positive about myself.

Anyways, I got my package already from LBC. my new pair of prescription glasses ! I don’t like my old pair in fact I use it very rarely. I would call this new pair the “ optimist ” glasses, talking of viewing the world with a less critical eye! Hello new me!

I'm All Geared Up for My Last Sem in College!

No words can describe the happiness I am feeling right now. I can already see myself dressed in our long red lobes walking the stage to receive my college diploma! Finally, this is it! But on the other side of my self I feel sad because I will be leaving my dear Alma Mater, Mindanao State University -Iligan Insititute of Technology. I have lots of memories in this university that will remain in me forever. Morever, I and my classmates will be parting ways :( Deep in my heart , I know that I will miss the friendship and bonding we have made throughout the years! Today, I feel happier than sad. Haha. My efforts and struggles for the past five years in BS Accountancy really paid off! I am more thankful that I was among the 54 students who'll make it this April out of the 120 + BS Accountancy students five years ago. This thought flashed me vividly back to my first day in college. What a day that was for me , a frustrated engineer who would have been one of those who passed this year's Chemical Engineering Board Exams had I chosen a different path! Stark realization had me in my third year in college, Accountancy is really meant for me! Thanks to my Dad who patiently convinced me to take up Accountancy!

School is starting sometime next week. And it's going to be hellaof a sem for me! Looking forward to my Graduation Day!

The Hunger Games Cast

Personally, I really enjoyed the Hunger Games trilogy by Suzanne Collins. It's just spectacular and I can't believe the obsession I had with the series. I can't wait to see the movie next year to see if that lives up to the book. The movie is set to come out on March 23,2012.

For those who haven't read the book, the story centers on Katniss Everdeen from District 12 who must survive a horrible televised fight to the death game. Each year the evil Government of Panem ( post-apocalyptic North America) hosts an event called the Hunger Games where two tributes - a boy and a girl from each of the twelve districts are forced to fight in an arena of death. The hunger games are held to remind and ensure that no district makes an attempt at a rebellion. But Katniss ends up as a symbol of defiance.

Back to the movie, I've gotta say the perfect people were chosen for the movie , to start with we have Jeniffer Lawrence as Katniss Everdeen.

Glued to the Computer All Day Long

I am supposed to make a new blog entry today but I end up sleeping the whole afternoon after babysitting my brother bembee earlier today. I am really at my wit's end babysitting him. He played angry birds and buddy rush all day long, and I couldn't convince him play in the backyard instead like what most of the kids in the neighborhood do. If there's anyone I know who can stand his eyes fixed on the computer screen all day it has to be him. It would take a miracle to stop him gaming so I rested my case .

Finally, our sembreak has finally arrived after two weeks of battling nerve-wracking long quizzes and exams. Accounting has been hell crazy, it's a matter of life and death whether I pass or fail. I'm on my fifth year now, my final year in college, and I tell you it's getting harder :( Dang, my grades are bad this sem, I feel bad and stupid about it. I could have done better. I regret those times when I succumbed to the temptations of procrastination. I blame myself for being so mediocre. I'm seriously drained. I promise my self to do good next sem, my last sem in college! haha. I want to be productive this sembreak. But first I need to unwind and just do the idle stuff, I guess I'll have to postpone my plans till next week. I've been rotting away in bed- either reading or catching up on a sleep. I am finally free! Thank you professors for giving me the lowest grades :D and Congrats to AVANZA our seniors for getting a 100% passing rate in the CPA Board Exam!

Canon Pixma CISS

Got our canon iP2770 printer converted to CISS today. Finally my mom bought the idea of converting our printer to CISS. Sorry Canon :( It's better this way. The ink is way cheaper than the genuine one, plus the ink lasts long too. It took only 1 hour to convert the printer to a CISS. Been printing handouts this last two hours! D So far, I'm very impressed with the quality. Now, if you're still considering if you should convert to CISS or not, I suggest you do. It will save you a lot of money. Bigger savings means , more money to spend to other things

The Last Clues in The 39 Clues

After the series introduction of the protagonist way back in 2009, I quitted reading the series for one reason : the middle books slowed down as a lot of time was spent on exploring the world of the Cahills, the secret family that has ruled the word for centuries. Haha. I know that must have been a shallow answer. The true reason behind it is I don't have the leisure time to read books anymore in college except my accounting books. I couldn't even remember where I had left off in the 39 clues. But now that I am finally graduating, I found the urge for me to read books again. That's why I am planning to buy a kindle. Back to the story, a friend of mine told me that nothing in the past eight books can match the surprises in the penultimate volume " The 39 Clues Book 9 : Storm Warning " . The books answers many of the series biggest questions as well as it chronicles its biggest tragedies. I guess the book is worth the wait. Oh my. I can't wait to read the series I had missed. :)

Hello everyone. It feels like I haven't blogged for ages. I've been very busy like a bee for the past three days preparing for my exam in Management Accounting ( which happens to be my hatest subject) and my report in Audit theory. That explains my panda eyes :D my undereye circles have gone so dark and i look so pale. I look so horrible today. No concealer can do the trick of hiding my panda eyes :( But I I feel so loved despite that, and I am madly, insanely and ridiculously in love with someone! haha. Ever wondered why couples start to look alike the longer they stay together? That's because the longer the time, the more they mimic each other's facial expressions, lifestyle and habits.

To end this post, I would just like to share with everyone my new brother's pic taken few weeks ago. I am just surprised at how he has grown so big :D It seemed like it was just yesterday when I saw his tiny nose wondering how he could even breathe through it.

Accounting Midterms Exam

Chocolate Cupcakes keep me going during an intense study session but for today's session, my sweet chocolate cupcake failed me.

My accounting subjects are very demanding. I had to do a lot of studying . Tomorrow, I would be taking my Management Accounting midterm exam. Gaaaah. I really hate studying :( Studying for six straight hours without a break is plain suicide. My brain feels like it's gona burst like hell. Everything around me seems to be a nightmare. I may be over exaggerating things but this is for real, I am at the point where I feel that my head is seriously going to explode if i have to solve another problem in accounting. Staring at my accounting study materials and testbanks full of numbers made my head reeled for hours yesterday , and now I am afraid I am beginning to feel it again. Every time I read two paragraphs from the theory part, none of it is sinking in on my second and third try.This is just madness, I know I'm not going to accomplish anything beyond what I have already done today. I'm already yawning. Need some sleep. Good night.

Today, I realize that I am finally ready to drop the paperback. I saw the need for me to get an e-reader. I have been looking for ebook readers for the past two hours from different brands. There are lots of good ebook readers to choose from but I narrowed down my choice to amazon's very popular kindle. So far, the kindle seems to be the logical choice. I love the e-ink technology that the kindle has., and the fact that, it handles PDF documents pretty well is a plus factor for me. It would be definitely very useful for my studies . To add to that, I have been hearing a lot of good feedback from kindle users. I know the kindle is basically for reading ( unlike the iPad and other tablets) , it does not do much, but what it does, it does it beautifully.

But should I wait for Kindle 4? News and rumors from technology blogs speculate the kindle 4 to come out later this year. I hope that it would be a colored kindle. To my despair, from what I've read from other blogs, the improvements would most likely be a touch screen kindle 4. Oh my. I hate touch screen gadgets . I am a touchscreen zealot. I don't want be decked out with all gadgets being touch screen capable. But I am still hoping for a colored Kindle. :D I can't really decide whether I should shell out my money for a kindle 3 or wait for kindle 4's release date.

I guess I'd really have to wait.. I am thrilled.

Hello! I'm back ! It's nice to be back here in Iligan City after being away for 4 days! Actually , I got back yesterday but I have been experiencing troubles with our internet connection so I was not able to blog. I LOVE CEBU. Although I didn't really get a chance to venture out much and explore the entire metro Cebu, it has been after all an exciting and wonderful trip. Our tour guide bebot was very jolly and had a lot of charisma to offer. Besides her interesting stories and jokes, she knows a lot about Cebu. Our bus driver, Sir Rudy, if i remembered his name right, was not the friendly bus driver you'd expect. :D

My trip in Cebu will forever be etched in my memory . It's something I will cherish forever. By just looking at the pictures brings a broad smile to my face .

Musk by Alyssa Ashley and Nivea Creme Review

Last month, I got a wonderful surprise package from my aunt abroad. Once I got the packaging material out of the way, I was holding one body moisturizer and a nivea creme. I personally had never heard of the Alyssa Ashley musk nevertheless, I'm too excited to try it right away. This musk has an average consistency, it's neither thick nor runny or watery; it applies on easily and absorbs quickly. It doesn't feel sticky too. It feels silky and soft on my skin. Where was the ooey gooey softness? Within a couple of days the dry lines in my elbows were gone. The other one, the nivea creme, is a beauty product I probably would not have purchased in the store to try. I love the smell but I don't like the consistency, it's too greasy and oily but it does moisturize though. Since it's too greasy, I use it at night time.

Transformers : Dark of the Moon

From the day I watched the second movie of transformers, Transformers : Revenge of the Fallen, few years ago, (I can't really remember the date) I've been ticking off the days on my calendar, anxiously waiting for June to come. As the months were reduced into weeks, and weeks dwindled into days, it felt more and more like time was moving agonizingly slow. I am not a die-hard fan of the transformers comic books who never held the record for reading one but I am, after all, a hardcore fan of the movies next to my brother bembee.

Every aspect of the film was worth every penny I paid just to watch the movie on the big screen. From the screenplay and cinematography down to the special effects, they were all woven into seamless perfection. It was very easy for me to suspend my belief that the Autobots and the Decepticons don't really exist for a couple of hours.

Shortly after the end of the flick, I was on tears. I must say goodbye to one of the series most beloved character : Optimus Prime. Even until now, I can't still believe that the saga has finally ended and that there won't be a new transformer movie to look forward to in the next years to come. An epic film indeed.

I will never forget these lines from Optimus Prime : You may lose faith in us, but never in yourselves.

Audit. Finance. Management Accounting. Advance Accounting. Is anyone else tired of studying?

Everytime I try to open my books and study I always get tired. I should be studying right now for my Finance quiz the next day but I can't even find the energy to look at my books today. I don't want to do it all at once the night before the test. Screw my books. I promise you it's frigging better than any damn sleeping pill you know. Gah, I need motivation. Then, I think about my desire to become a CPA and suck it up. There have been some really unsettling things going on for the past weeks but I can't afford to be tired of studying and distracted. I want my old self back.

I bought some snacks earlier hoping that crunching little things that I can nibble on will help me , and a little caffiene does not help me either. I need to get rid of the distraction hopefully tonight but first I need to get some more earnest desire to study. I need some rest. *Sleepy*

I must mention that shopping with Fashionmonster has been a pleasant experience. Being a fickle-minded, I flooded Fashionmonster with lots of questions and kept changing my mind.
