iCarly Begins Sixth Season Film Production

The cast and crew of the hit Nickelodeon show iCarly have headed back on set to begin production on the sixth season of the show.

While there is no word yet on whether the show will continue beyond it’s sixth season as the main leadMiranda Cosgrove will be heading off to university in the fall. But the show creator Dan Schneider kicked off the day of filming by tweeting he was psyched to hanging out with Nathan Kress, Noah Munck, Jennette McCurdy and Miranda Cosgrove among many others. Nathan Kress who plays Freddie Benson who is one of Carly’s good friend and neighbor and he is also the technical producer of iCarly also tweeted “I’m officially a working man again! Can’t wait to get started on this season. This first episode is quite exciting!” Even Jennette McCurdy took to Twitter to lament about their first table read in the morning.

Meanwhile, Miranda dropped iCarly: Soundtrack II and it filled with enough musical goodies to keep you entertained until the next season kicks off. Featuring original tunes from Cosgrove and her “iCarly” castmates, the album also includes hits like Katy Perry’s “Hot N Cold” and Ke$ha”s “Blow.” Cosgrove recorded her songs during her 2011 Dancing Crazy Tour. One Direction To Guest Star On new iCarly Episode

iCarly" is about to feel the effects of a British Invasion. The show has just booked British boy band One Direction to appear on the fifth season of the Miranda Cosgrove-starring show.

The guys will be on set Monday to tape their appearance on the episode, during which they will play themselves and perform "What Makes You Beautiful."

According to a synopsis of the episode, "Carly returns home sick after a trip and discovers that One Direction has accepted an invitation to perform on their web show. Not long after arriving, bandmate Harry becomes sick and we see Carly doting over him. Realizing Harry is playing sick for the attention, they hatch a plan to get him back in the group by telling him Gibby has become their newest bandmember. Meanwhile, Spencer becomes a personal trainer and gives a bratty girl a makeover."

Victorious kicks off the evening at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT with the premiere of “The Breakfast Bunch,” a new episode that pays tribute to the iconic 1985 John Hughes teen movie The Breakfast Club. In “The Breakfast Bunch,” Tori and the gang are forced to spend a Saturday in detention. They have the whole day to learn about each other, find food and try not to earn more time in detention.

Big Time Rush may have to go their separate ways in the 8:30p.m. ET/PT premiere of “Big Time Move.” The guys have the fight of all fights and decide to move out. James ends up squatting in a cool retiree’s apartment and takes over his swinging senior lifestyle, Logan moves into a place right by the water – a Palm Woods Cabana -- and Carlos goes rustic in a cardboard house in Palm Woods Park. It’s now up to Kendall to convince the guys to move back to their real LA home and make them realize no fight is worth losing a friend over.

Capping off the night is a brand-new episode of Supah Ninjas “Cousin Connor” at 9:00p.m. ET/PT. After an unsuccessful attempt to infiltrate the Fukanaga clan, Cousin Connor returns to Empire City to obtain the Floating Sword by creating a web of lies that causes Mike, Owen and Amanda to turn against each other. He ambushes the Supah Ninjas, revealing his true identity, and the two cousins face off in a battle of good and evil.

Gomez is attached to produce and most likely star in the big-screen adaptation of the Jandy Nelson novel "The Sky is Everywhere." Gomez will not only play the part of producer but could potentially land the novel's lead role of Lennie Walker, Deadline reports.

Lennie is a 17-year-old nerd-type who loses her older, outgoing sister, Bailey. After Bailey dies, Lennie must step out of her sister's shadow when she falls for two guys (one of whom was Bailey's boyfriend). No word on who is attached to star in the other key parts of the movie. Before she hits the set for "The Sky is Everywhere," Gomez already has some other films lined up. The actress/singer will shoot the darker "Spring Breakers" early this year and has been rumored to be attached to a film called "Hot Mess."

Justin Bieber Helps Raise Money For New Skate Park In His Home Town

Justin Bieber has lent a helping hand in his hometown of Stratford, Ontario, adding his autograph to a brand new car from a local Hyundai dealership that will be auctioned off to raise money for new skate and BMX park in the town.

The idea came about after Bieber's grandmother visited the area's local Hyundai dealership to buy a new car over the holiday season.

The purchase brought so much attention to the dealership that its owner, Frank Sandola, asked if Bieber would be willing to contribute his John Hancock to the donated vehicle.

According to hollywoodreporter.com, Justin was snuck into the dealership on December 23 and signed the dashboard including a few small music note drawings. The red 2012 Hyundai Genesis Coupe 2.0 hit the auction block on January 20 and bids will be accepted for ten days.

Fan favorite Debby Ryan (“Jessie”) stars as a teen who secretly breaks free from her painfully shy self and into the ersona of a bold podcast host who rocks her Seattle high school with music and the message to ‘be yourself,’ in “Radio Rebel,” a Disney Channel Original Movie based on the novel Shrinking Violet, premiering FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 17 (8:00 p.m., ET/PT). The soundtrack will include Debby Ryan performing the smash hit “We Got the Beat.”

Ryan stars in Disney Channel’s comedy series “Jessie” which premiered in September 2011 and is pacing to be the #1 cable TV series of all time among Kids 6-11. She also starred in the movie “16 Wishes” which delivered an impressive 5.6 million Total Viewers in June 2010. She first gained popularity among kids, tweens and families in Disney Channel’s hit series “The Suite Life on Deck.”
