After DJ Unique, it's Pitch Controllers Spyro's turn to get in the mix for the second installment of Ghetts It In Gang.

Opening the dances with the infamous Faze Miyake's production 'Take Off', the mix is pure hype.

Hailing from East London, Stelf has already proved with his debut mixtape 'Shake My Head' that he's not one to be underestimated and now is fully back in the scene with his new single 'Where I'm Heading'.

The track has received the approval of Rinse FM (on Sian Anderson's show) and his previous mixtape has generated a lot of interested from bloggers and DJs, such as Logan Sama.
'Where I'm Heading' showcases Stelf's experimental approach to Grime and his versatility to deliver on a non traditional Grime beat.

Clement Marfo & The Frontline - 'Overtime' Feat. Ghetts

2011-09-15T16:10:00.000-07:00

Clement Marfo and The Frontline's buzz has been growing rapidly in the past few months and their new single 'Overtime', featuring Grime veteran Ghetts, has been receiving an enormous love on the UK airwaves.

MistaJam was the first to put his hands on it a while ago and now the video is spreading across the net as a musical virus.

Lyrically meaningful, 'Overtime' could be considered CMTF's statement that if you want to make it, you gotta graft 24/7.

Thumbs up!

'Overtime' is out on iTunes on November 14th.

RIVAL - Talk That

2011-09-13T00:26:00.000-07:00

Mr. Headshot Season speaks up his mind on the reality he lives in and explains why his lyrics often relate to violence and crime as that's all he knows.

The London made of suits is a remote world for the Grime MC, who portrays his own environment when the majority of kids is left to their own and only seen as a problem, rather than part of the solution.

A track filled with emotions and anger for the East Londoner who are visually transcribed by Lock Down Records behind the camera.

Also check out what went down when Rival met Remel London for Kids Of Grime TV.

Taken from 'Lord Rivz' due to be released soon! Stay tuned!

Who's The F*ckin Gangster? Rival sends for Z Dot

2011-08-26T03:25:00.000-07:00

Shortly after Z Dot released his 'Gangster EP' including the infamous instrumental, Rival didn't waste no time to address the producer who, for unknown reasons, wasn't willing to send the East London MC the beat when the first remixes came out.

And Rival once again murked another beat (sending for Z Dot with explicit bars) and delivered one of the best versions of 'Gangster'.

Look out for 'Constructive Violence' coming soon.

Marger feat Scruffizer & No Lay - 'Goonz' [Radio Rip]

2011-08-26T01:18:00.000-07:00

Premiered on Logan Sama on Monday, Goonz is one of those angry tunes that just want to make you dash your laptop out of the window or just loot your neighbours' house.

Taken off Marger's forthcoming 'Cheeky EP' dropping at the end of the year, it features two Grime heavyweights, Scruffizer and No Lay, giving this tune the 'WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEL factor'. Marger's gritty sound perfectly matches with Fizzy's unmistakable flow and No Lay's 'slap in your face' bars over another Grime gem by Sibling.

Don't forget 'Shadows EP' feat. Molly is out now on iTunes!

KIDS of GRIME X Flava D's SPECIAL Freestyles

2011-08-26T01:14:00.000-07:00

Kids of Grime is back with a second series of freestyles. After Rude Kid, Kids of Grime has decided to collaborate with one of the most-talked producers in the scene, Flava D. With her filthy and dark production, Flava D's work rate has been impressive in the past few months and it's not surprising that some of the hardest Grime MCs have jumped on her beats.

Here are the first two episodes of KOG X Flava D's Special freestyles.

Discarda & Dispute - @discarda

He rhymes on, rhymes on and so does Dispute.

Ego (Family Tree) - @Ego_FT

Aim and bang! Ego never fails to deliver bags of hype even of a quick freestyle.

Don't forget that 'Actually Active' is out now on iTunes, Amazon and all major digital retailers.

Look out for the forthcoming Kids of Grime X Flava D's freestyles. All I'm going to say is HARD!

Mixclique Vision - @RoyalTMusic Set at Cable - 13.08

2011-08-16T08:37:00.000-07:00

In the past few days everyone has been talking about the memorable night at Cable last Saturday and, with the DJ sets available to download already, it's hard to decide who hyped most the crowd among DOK, Royal T, Swindle, Champion, Elijah & Skilliam, Terror Danjah and Kode 9.

Although, Royal T is definitely in my top 3. Opening up with a remix of Wild Cherry's 'Play That Funky Music', Royal T got the Cable ravers dropping some next skanks to Orangeade VIP and carried on with his "epicality" throughout his set.

As if it wasn't enough, Merky Ace and Ego added up extra hype when they touched the mic. If you don't believe me, well have a look yourself.

Emotional video courtesy of Mixclique Vision.

Marger feat Molly - Shadows EP

2011-08-08T04:41:00.000-07:00

With the official video having a great response within the Grime community and outside, 'Shadows' has shown (once again) the levels of Marger's lyrical content which perfectly works with Molly's vocals and Sibling's production.

With such a powerful track, it was standard procedure that some sick remixes would have accompanied 'Shadows' and UK heavyweights Preditah and Lewi White went blind in the studio.

Jammin Live at G-Shock Session [KIDS OF GRIME]

2011-07-26T14:39:00.000-07:00

Last Friday (July 23rd) was the first anniversary of G-Shock Session and the line up looked nuts! Opening the dances, Nationality's Jammin ("Oh my God, oh my God...") tore down the stage delivering a wicked performance to the crowd. But as they say talk is cheap and I could write how sick Jammin was, what tracks he performed etc... but there's no need for that as Kids of Grime provided the visuals.

Don't forget Jammin's 'Wake Up Call' EP is out now!

Styler - 'Perfect Timing EP' out July 25th

2011-07-13T02:27:00.000-07:00

If you didn't already know, GFam's comrade Styler is about to drop 'Perfect Timing EP' and believe me no better name could have been chosen for his upcoming release on Mind Of Grime Recordings.

Featuring Dimples (GFam), Rival, Nico Lindsay and Kwam, the EP is not your classic Grime release, but it's more experimental and it sees Styler exploring diverse sounds as natural consequence of his artistic growth.

With Skillioso, Spooky, HK and Chillz on production, the five-tracks EP includes the certified banger 'Styles', 'In The City' and 'Home Alone'.

'Perfect Timing EP' which will be available both digitally and physically from July 25th from all the good digital stores and physical copies will be available from www.mindofamute.bigcartel.com.

The wait is now over and Pitch Controllers Records is proud to announce that you can buy 'Lock Off The Rave 8 Bar Remix' from iTunes.

Too good to be true? You're damn right mate! In fact, the first event is invite only (no worries I've been parred too..oh well lol) bu this is just the begininning.

Apparently the line up is sicker than sick! Rude Kid and Woofer music lord Faze Miyake have been recruited by to make a beat from scratch in front of the Grime lovers crowd in 10 minutes.

I'm sure it will be a madness!

Jendor - 'When It Rains It Storms'

"Dun dem... 321 dem, dun dem... 321 dem"

OGz member Hollowman Jendor has dropped 'When It Rains It Storms' increasing the ongoing buzz around the South East London crew, which recently delivered the massive 'Blacks and P' mixtape. Featuring comrades P Money, Blacks and Little Dee, the release also see Grime heavyweights Jammer and Trim on 'Dun Dem 321 Dem' as well as vocals by Randy Valentine, Mimi Bohemez and more.

Dark and melancholic beats alongside a more upbeat production make 'When It Rains It Storms' a diverse release sound wise, which includes epic instrumentals such as Plastician's 'Japan', matching the variety of topics Jendor deals with.

DJ Whoo Kid Presents Wiley - 'Creating A Buzz (Vol.1)'

2011-07-06T00:50:00.001-07:00

The controversial Godfather of Grime is the fourth UK artist to team up with DJ Whoo Kid on a mixtape and let me tell you 'Creating A Buzz (Vol.1)' is simply epic.

Including his much talked freestyle 'I'm On One' featuring Giggs, the mixtape opens up with what could be defined an educational intro as Wiley shares few tips on how to create a buzz in the over-saturated industry.

Hosted by his schoolmate Ashley Cole (WTF? you might be asking yourself well you're not alone), the Eski Boy has crafted another musical gem. In real American style some autotune and couple of gunshots have been thrown in, but I can guarantee you won't find yourself skipping any track.

With skits from two UK heavyweights of cinema (Jason Stathan and Sasha Baron Cohen), 'Creating A Buzz (Vol.1)' spaces from Hip Hop to a more R&Bish sound, passing through Grime and our beloved Garage featuring G-Unit Tony Yayo, the mesmerising vocals of Alexa Goddard and Shanelle.

Overall one of those release you will blast in your house or car anytime of the day and of the year.

Download it from here.
