According to WCBS TV House Ways and Means Committee Chair Charlie Rangel has asked Speaker Pelosi for a "leave of absence" from the position, after being reprimanded for ethics violations.

Plagued by ethics scandals, New York Congressman Charles Rangel gave up the gavel on the powerful House Ways and Means Committee on Wednesday.

For now, the move is only temporary.

It certainly did not come as a shock, but Rep. Rangel's announcement reverberated from Washington to New York and around the country.

"I have, this morning, sent a letter to Speaker Pelosi, asking her to grant me a leave of absence," Rangel said.

There was then a salvo from the Republican minority leader of the House.

"The ethics committee has found that Mr. Rangel violated the rules of the House and he's been admonished," said Rep. John Boehner, R-Ohio. "As a long-time member of the House he does not deserve to be a member of the Democrat leadership nor as chairman of this committee."

Seems a long time coming for a tax cheat and taxpayer fund stealing elitist from New York. But yet they say it's only temporary.....sigh.

HARRIS ANNOUNCES RUN FOR ALL OF MISSOURI'S SIX PHANTOM CONGRESSIONAL DISTRICTS

Lifelong Missouri resident and blogger Caleb Harris has announced his intention to seek the nomination for all six of Missouri's phantom congressional districts that received federal stimulus money.
"I feel that while Obama has provided needed job's to these newly created districts, someone must speak for these people now," said Harris. "These phantom people have no voice in Congress being that Obama just recently doubled the size of the US House. I call on Gov. Jay Nixon to immediately move for a special election, so I can go to Congress and represent the ghosts among us."
Harris has created a top-notch campaign team led by Campaign Manager Josh Lyman and Communications Director Toby Zeigler. Lyman and Zeigler are veterans of the political world, both having served in President Jed Bartlett's administration and highly featured on NBC's acclaimed documentary about the administration, The West Wing.
"Caleb Harris is the only man that can and will stand up for the oppressed voice of the phantom's, who have long yearned to be heard," said Lyman.
Harris has some top-notch endorsements in the works, which will be forthcoming at a press conference to be determined.

Stimulus creates jobs for non-existent congressional districts....government entities don;t know which district they are in?

ABC News reported:

"Here's a stimulus success story: In Arizona's 15th congressional district, 30 jobs have been saved or created with just $761,420 in federal stimulus spending. At least that's what the Web site set up by the Obama administration to track the $787 billion stimulus says.

There's one problem, though: There is no 15th congressional district in Arizona; the state has only eight districts.

And ABC News has found many more entries for projects like this in places that are incorrectly identified.

Late Monday, officials with the Recovery Board created to track the stimulus spending, said the mistakes in crediting nonexistent congressional districts were caused by human error."

So the government is blaming this on human error and in a statement said they have updated the erroneous information in this manner:

"If a recipient reported an incorrect or invalid congressional district, the code “ZZ” appears in the “Congressional District” field as a placeholder. The recipient will change the report with the correct congressional district during the next reporting period, beginning January 1, 2010."

Upon further investigation of stimulus funds provided here in Missouri, there are five grants either completed or pending which have the designated "ZZ" code in their field. One of those grants is for the Rex Spencer Equipment Company, a private company, so all is well, right? Wrong.
The other four grants with the "ZZ" code that didn't know their correct Congressional District are (drumroll please).... The Housing Authorities for the Cities of Aurora and Hannibal, and Springfield's own loveable City Utilities. These blessed and responsible government and public agencies did not know what Congressional district they are located in. How is it that two housing authorities that provide government assisted, low-income housing provided by HUD, and the public utility company in the state's third largest city not know which district they were located in?
Furthermore, many of the stimulus projects in Missouri are just blank, meaning one of two things....either we have a phantom Congressional district known as District Blank or 00, or the entire government system from local on up is run by incompetent and ignorant fools. I think I'll go with the latter, but maybe I'll run with the former and have a big announcement coming later....

Ron Reagan Jr. A disgrace to his father....

Frank Gaffney, a noted conservative commentator recently had it out with Ron Reagan, the shameful and noted liberal son of President Reagan, in which Gaffney told him his father would be ashamed of him....

Right on Mr. Gaffney! And Ronnie Jr. (god I hate even criticizing that name so damn you for making me do it) I cannot believe you even had the gall to shake your finger at him like you don't KNOW it is true???? I watched your father growing up...so much so it was like watching my grandfather on television and your blatant disrespect for everything he stood for makes me think that I loved him and his ideals MORE THAN YOU! Don't believe that? Check out this exchange from an article in 2004 which shows William F. Buckley's disdain for you and your shameless self-promotion....a man who knew all of you VERY well...

The elder statesman of the conservative movement considered Ron Jr.'s remarks a public challenge that ought to be challenged publicly. Buckley wrote Reagan a letter that specifically addressed his claim in an interview with the New York Times that he, as a self-professed atheist, admired the Buddhist teachings of ''mindfulness and loving kindness and compassion.'' Buckley told him: ''You proceed in a single interview to profane/deride the faith of your parents, which is not very mindful.''

Did you wag your finger at him? I haven't found a single response from you on google about that one...so I'll assume you just hung your head in shame. Want more from Buckley? Ok....

There was more than one interview. In his graveside eulogy, the son threw a dart at President Bush by saying his father never wore ''his faith on his sleeve.'' That was just the beginning of attempts to dispel any notion that Bush was another Reagan. ''My father did not know George W. Bush from Adam,'' he said on CNN, adding: ''My father was a man -- that's the difference between him and Bush.'' As far as Republicans using the Reagan heritage, he said on MSNBC, ''This is their war. If they can't stand on their own two feet, they're no Ronald Reagans.''

This fit the desperate effort by Bush-bashers to keep the president from politically benefitting as a result of national grief over Reagan's passing. With publication in the New York Times Magazine of Ron Jr.'s interview with Deborah Solomon, Buckley wrote the son with a point-by-point response.

RR Jr.: The nude picture of his sister Patti in Playboy was ''just something that is not too exciting.''

WFB: ''Why then was there so much excitement about it?''

RR Jr.: As for his father's reaction when he dropped out of Yale to join the ballet, ''That was fine with him.''

WFB: ''It wasn't fine with him and he enlisted my aid in trying to persuade you to stay in college.''

RR Jr.: Having three cats while being childless ''is like having children.''

WFB: ''No, it's not like having children.''

RR Jr.: As to whether his mother helps him out financially, ''Of course not. My father felt that children should make their own way.''

WFB: ''I know, and you know that I know, something about that question. But to say that 'of course' your mother does not help you out suggests she will not do so even if there were a need. Are you saying she would not acknowledge you in her will?''

RR Jr.: As to the Abu Ghraib prison abuses, ''How can Christians tolerate it?''

WFB: ''I don't know of any Christians who 'tolerate it.' The perpetrators are reviled.''

RR Jr.: In an answer to a question, he said he did not vote for Bush in the last election.

WFB: ''Odd that you should permit this invasion of privacy whose only purpose is to remark the political infidelity of the son of Ronald Reagan.''

RR Jr.: His father ''worked hard to impress upon his children the value of kindness.''

WFB: ''If he did, he was manifestly unsuccessful.''

Like I have said to many a friend...it is a shame that the son of Ronald Reagan who has his blood running through him has chosen to shamelessly whore himself out, while undercutting his father's legacy, meanwhile the son who does not have his blood (Michael) at least has his heart and soul.
Now come wag your finger and scold me Ronnie Jr. I'd love to have that debate...

While Georgia and Missouri flood...Obama spends and hour with Letterman and plays basketball

Remember back in 2004, the blame placed on the feds and Bush for Hurricane Katrina? Well now we see massive flooding in Georgia that has claimed several lives and with more rain forecast, the danger of the same happening in Missouri. So where is our beloved President Obama during this time of crisis? On Letterman for an hour yesterday, and today playing basketball with his aide Reggie Love, the HuffandPuffington Post points out.

No menton in that story of the tragedies, just that Mr. Love was the hottest guy in the White House.
Seems to me that unless your state voted for Obama, it doesn't require the attention they required of the Bush Administration in 2004. If George Bush was the "decider" Obama is becoming the "divider".

A common argument from liberals today is "well Bush did it too". I agree. Bush had a moderate stance fiscally, creating the "No Child Left Behind Act" and the Medicare prescription drug farce and don't forget the numerous Czars Bush appointed.
Liberals today argue consistently "Bush did it too" without realizing the fact that many of us were disappointed with what Bush considered "conservatism". Yes Bush appointed czars, although they were considerably less than the amount Obama has chosen to appoint. However the argument against us that Bush did it fails to consider we were choosing between the "lesser of two evils" when it comes to our choice for President. It wasn't that we agreed with Bush, it was, however, we agreed we would so less damage than a Gore or Kerry. The time for that compromise, however, has ended.
Those who choose to say we allowed government takeovers the past eight years are correct...to a point. We complied with the lesser of two evils. To say we were totally complicit with it though, is false. Consider this article in the Politico:

The Republicans of late, however, decided to trade in the “less government, more freedom” model that had worked so well for Reagan and conservatives. They deliberately and quite consciously made the social right and the economic right dependent upon Washington.

From the beginning, they tempted the social right with a seat at the table in forming policy, “faith-based initiatives,” federal interference in the Terry Schiavo case in Florida and a ludicrous amendment to the Constitution banning gay marriage. After eight years of being told by Rove and this White House that all the social ills of America could be federalized, it will take a long time to put this toothpaste back in the tube.

In 1978, state Sen. John Briggs offered Proposition 6 in California. The “Briggs Amendment” would have prohibited gays from teaching in public schools. Though the Christian right supported it, Reagan campaigned against it, seeing it as a violation of personal freedoms. Voters there sent it down in flames and Briggs blamed Reagan’s opposition for its defeat.

You see we didn't stand idly by at that time. We tried to influence, to no success. Now it is different. We have no supposed "voice at the table", so now is the time to be extreme. To make our voice heard throughout the country that we will not take this, we will not stand idly by....we will be heard and we will be known....and we will bring this nation back to its principals and what it was meant to be. Period.

Natuarlized citizen gets the Constitiution...

Now, Patricia Coats Jessamy, the Baltimore City State’s Attorney, is trying to silence those who have broadcast the video footage, relying on a Maryland law that violates the First Amendment. She is not interested in prosecuting the crimes recorded on the video, such as promoting “sex slavery.” Instead, this partisan, ardent Obama supporter wants to prosecute those who took the undercover video — and those citizens, bloggers, and journalists who broadcast it or “use” or “disclose the content” of it!

In her public statement turning a blind eye to ACORN’s crimes, she complains that the video may “possibly have been obtained in violation of Maryland Law . . . Article §10-402, which requires two party consent. If it is determined that the audio portion now being heard on YouTube was illegally obtained, it is also illegal under Maryland Law to willfully use or willfully disclose the content of said audio. The penalty for the unlawful interception, disclosure or use of it is a felony punishable up to 5 years.”

Examiner goes on to report:

If Jessamy prosecutes YouTube, which is hosting the video, or the bloggers and journalists who are broadcasting it, this exacting standard will be met, and a federal judge will likely issue an injunction against her wrongdoing. (See In re Providence Journal Co., 820 F.2d 1342 (1st Cir. 1987) (issuing injunction); Jean v. Massachusetts State Police, 492 F.3d 24 (1st Cir. 2007) (disseminating audiotape that was banned by state “privacy” law was protected by First Amendment)).

But if she just prosecutes the makers of the undercover video, like film maker James O'Keefe, it is conceivable that federal judges will refuse to intervene, saying that her violation of the First Amendment, while proven, is insufficiently “patent” and “flagrant” to justify an injunction against her (although I would argue to the contrary).

If that happens, she may be able to harass the makers of the video for years, until state prosecutions or convictions are overturned by the U.S. Supreme Court. (Maryland’s highest court, the Maryland Court of Appeals, expansively interpreted the statute she is invoking, in the aftermath of Linda Tripp’s recording of her conversations with Bill Clinton’s paramour, Monica Lewinsky). Even after their convictions or prosecutions are overturned on First Amendment grounds, she will be immune from any personal consequences, since prosecutors have “absolute civil immunity” against damages for constitutional violations they commit in the course of their jobs.

Ok, so now dissenters can be prosecuted for doing the duties the real media fails to do. Fine. GO ahead and prosecute ME Ms. Jessemy...I'll be happy to see you in court.

President raises tariffs on Chinese tires, could be sign of things to come

On Friday evening, after markets had closed, President Obama announced a measure that would add a 35 percent tariff, on top of the current four percent, on imported Chinese tires. Despite the obvious timing issues, doing it after markets close to limit the effect on stocks and securities, this issue reeks of a possible start to protectionism, which if not kept in check could seriously deepen the recession.
Going back to the Great Depression, many economists agree that the Smoot-Hawley Tariff Act of 1930, deepened an economic crisis to biblical proportions.
The act itself raised tariffs on 3200 goods to a rate of 60 percent, causing backlash from other nations, who, in turn, raised tariffs on our exports. The stock market had just experienced "Black Thursday" a few months before, causing a recession with unemployment rates of nine percent. Many economists blame this movement to a protectionary state for causing the crash to begin with, because markets are always forward-looking.
"As soon as dealers in securities, who were constantly on the watch for indications as to business conditions, realized that this feeling of uneasiness (about the tariff bill) was spreading throughout industry, they began selling stocks," said Fred Kent, the 1929 Director of Bankers Trust Co.
Once the tariff act was placed into law in began a chain reaction of events that caused an international slow down in trade which contracted the economy even more. Consider that the unemployment rate, which had shown some signs of starting to improve before the act was passed, jumped from nine percent (about what it is currently)to 16 percent the year after the tariffs were passed.
I readily admit that one tariff is far from the extreme measures of the Smoot-Hawley Act of 1930, however this backroom Friday evening announcement should raise a red-flag about the administrations goals.
First, China has already reacted harshly, being suspicious of the Obama motives and wondering whether this will start a new trade war.
"China strongly opposes this serious act of trade protectionism by the U.S.," the statement on the Ministry of Commerce Web site said. "This act not only violates the rules of the World Trade Organization but also violates the relevant commitments made by the U.S. government at the G-20 financial summit."
Secondly, let's consider Obama the campaigner and his own statements from the 2008 campaign: Fact check: Obama never said we should support trade deals like NAFTA.
I fully understand that issue debates like free trade and tariffs are not hot-button rhetorical issues like health care and cap-and-trade. However this is as important, if not more important, to the future and continued recovery and we all should be watching with vetted interest.

Olbermann, Maddow....quick to blame, when it fits their agenda

When Dr. George Tiller, an abortion provider, was brutally and sickingly murdered in Wichita by a crazed moron, MSNBC blowhard Keith Olbermann and Rachel Maddow were quick to place blame on conservative blogs and outlets like Fox News.
"The (Fox News) tapes on Dr. Tiller that set the stage for his assassination," said Olbermann.
While I agree with their assertion that the murder of someone is reprehensible and wrong, it seems, with their silence today, that it is only a one way street with these two.
A pro-life activist, James Pouillon, was shot and killed outside of an Owosso, Michigan high school this morning and lw enforcement has determined that he was killed because the shooter was offended by his demonstrations.
I don't bring this to you to get involved in the abortion debate, but rather to show that Olbermann and Maddow, while quick to blame and label Fox, O'Reilly and conservatives in general for what they call domestic terrorism, the have, to this point, remained strikingly silent when one of their own belief system commits a henious act. Shame.
Olbermann, in his rant below, talks about the mass shooting at a church by Jim Dvid Atkison, in 2008. In his commentary he talks of how Atkison was out to kill the 100 people named by journalist and Fox News contributer Bernard Goldberg, in his book "100 People Who Are Screwing Up America."
"Mr. Goldberg did not even offer as much as his regrets, nevermind offer his resignation," Olbermann states.
Since when is one supposed to regret their right to free speech Keith? In your warped vision you claim that because someone read a book, got pissed and decided to kill people over it the responsibility bears on someone else, not the individual who committed the act. OK. Using your logic and deduction I am now blaming you and Maddow for the tragic death of an elderly man on oxygen with leg braces...moron.

Somethings to consider while listening to Obama's rant tonight...

So the President is giving the first of many "most important speech of his Presidency" tonight. Excerpts that are trickling out show that his message hasn't changed much, even with a majority of us being opposed. "People will die" "public option needed", "you can keep your insurance" blah blah blah.
Newt Gingrich has given us a checklist of 10 items on which to judge the President's remarks tonight. They are:

Here's a ten-point checklist to help you decide for yourself. Print it out and use it to judge the President's speech tonight.
In his proposals for reform, does the President include litigation reform, which 84% of Americans believe will help reduce costs and which is the number one goal of doctors in any health reform?
Does he include a section on saving money by stopping payments to crooks who are bilking the taxpayers for $70-120 billion each year in Medicare and Medicaid fraud? For 88 percent of Americans, this is the first place they would look to find savings in our health care system. Is President Obama willing to look there?
Does his speech reject higher taxes, which the vast majority of Americans believe will make the current economy even worse and increase unemployment even more?

Does it reject all government rationing of health services which the American people have vocally opposed at town hall meetings across the country?

Does it reject any government run, bureaucratic health plan?
Is President Obama open to four or five bipartisan bills which could pass with big bipartisan majorities? Or does he insist on a single omnibus bill of 1000-plus pages like the one that failed when Mrs. Clinton tried to pass it in 1993-1994?
Is he for sustaining the Senate rule of 60 votes to ensure a bill that has wide, bipartisan support? Or is he prepared to destroy long-standing Senate tradition and ram through a radical bill with 51 votes?
Does President Obama give any indication he is for increasing the power, information and choice of the individual and their doctor or is he giving more power to the government?
Does he focus on health, wellness, prevention, early detection and health management to avoid or control the severity of chronic diseases? Or does he spend his time talking only about acute care?
Does his plan invest in science and technology in order to increase innovation and accelerate the discovery and adoption of new discoveries and breakthroughs in diseases such as Alzheimer's, cancer and diabetes?
When the speech is over, look over your check list.

Each “yes” is worth 10 percent.

Each failure is worth zero.

Keep these questions in mind, because as I predict, he will receive a failing grade. The hyperbole and rhetoric coming from him is fine on the campaign trail, but where is the bread and butter? Why is he refusing to listen to us? Once these questions in the checklist are answered, then and only then, will we truly understand his mission and proposals. Until then it's a bunch of unanswered concerns that is steadily proving an arrogance that come hell or high water the Democrats will do as they please.

Why should they when they have loudmouthed and ignorant spokespeople like you in the mainstream media to say it for them? On another note why does MSNBC have a "political director?" Jeffrey Lord, a former White House staffer in the Reagan Adminstration, today questioned just who overrode the Secret Service when it came to hiring Van Jones. He wants answers, as we all should, to a set of very specific questions.
From the American Spectator:

In my case, nerdy political soul that I was, I was ready for this questionnaire somewhere around kindergarten. I passed -- along with every one of my colleagues that I can recall -- with flying colors.

But the question here in the Van Jones case -- as it would have been for me and my Reagan colleagues is very simple. What if I, like the White House guest I had invited, had a police record? Had a seriously questionable set of quite public and quite wacky, well-articulated views captured on video tape? What if I had been a Democrat with a father or older brother in the Ku Klux Klan? What if I had been a John Bircher? What if I had been signing on to documents that accused President Eisenhower of being a Communist? What if I had tagged along with Jane Fonda and gone to North Vietnam to mug for the cameras?

The answer is simple. The only way that I could have gotten a clearance to work for a President Ronald Reagan would be if the President, the First Lady or the Chief of Staff to the President specifically overruled the Secret Service.

That's it. There was then, and surely is now, no other way.

Which is to say, Van Jones is in the White House this minute because someone -- or several someones -- knew his problems and quite deliberately overruled the Secret Service. That would be someone of very considerable power.

It keeps piling up for Van Jones....

Van Jones, the Obama appointed Green Jobs Czar (which in itself is an ironic job title for a self-described communist) has had a rough past few days. Just yesterday Jones was outed as calling republicans a-holes, during a forum, just one month before he was appointed to this illustrious government position with no oversight. Now granted, while stupid, it is not a major offense to call ones opponent a-holes, hell I have done it myself. However (and h/t to Gateway Pundit for breaking this story) today it comes out that Van Jones signed a petition calling for an investigation stating that the Bush Administration knew about 9/11 before it happened, and basically asserted that the government murdered thousands on that day:

Merely six hours later Jones came up with an apology for his signature appearing on this document, providing now answers as to why, or how. ABC News reports:

A top environmental official of the Obama administration issued a statement Thursday apologizing for past incendiary statement and denying that he ever agreed with a 2004 petition on which his name appears, a petition calling for congressional hearings and an investigation by the New York Attorney General into "evidence that suggests high-level government officials may have deliberately allowed the September 11th attacks to occur."
Van Jones, the Special Advisor for Green Jobs at the White House Council on Environmental Quality, is Number 46 of the petitioners from the so-called "Truther" movement which suggests that people in the administration of President George W. Bush "may indeed have deliberately allowed 9/11 to happen, perhaps as a pretext for war."
In a statement issued Thursday evening Jones said of "the petition that was circulated today, I do not agree with this statement and it certainly does not reflect my views now or ever."
He did not explain how his name came to be on the petition.
"My work at the Council on Environmental Quality is entirely focused on one goal: building clean energy incentives which create 21st century jobs that improve energy efficiency and use renewable resources," Jones said in his statement tonight.
Jones also said in his statement that "In recent days some in the news media have reported on past statements I made before I joined the administration – some of which were made years ago. If I have offended anyone with statements I made in the past, I apologize."
With a history of incendiary and provocative remarks, many of them dealing with his view of how whites exploit minorities, Jones has emerged as the subject of much conservative scrutiny in recent days, particularly from Fox News' Glenn Beck. (Jones defenders point out that most of Beck's criticism came after a group Jones helped found, Color of Change, began pushing advertisers to boycott Beck after he accused President Obama of being a racist.)
Jones is the best-selling author of The Green Collar Economy and a leader in the "green jobs" movement -- the idea that clean energy jobs can create jobs, especially in poor communities. He has been praised from leaders ranging from Al Gore to former eBay CEO (and Republican) Meg Whitman, who in May said that Jones is doing "a marvelous job… I’m a huge fan of his. He is very bright, very articulate, very passionate. I think he is exactly right.”
Earlier this year a profile of Jones in the New Yorker, author Elizabeth Kolbert wrote that "the basic premise of Jones’s appeal—that combating global warming is a good way to lift people out of poverty—is very much open to debate. ... it’s not at all clear that the number of jobs created by, say, an expanding solar industry would be greater than the number lost through, say, a shrinking coal-mining industry. Nor is it clear that a green economy would be any better at providing work for the chronically unemployed than our present, 'gray' economy has been."
But those theories aren't the ones that have made Jones a lightning rod in the past few weeks.
In 2005 Jones told the East Bay Express that the acquittal of Rodney King's assailants in 1992 in that infamous police brutality case changed him significantly. "I was a rowdy nationalist on April 28th, and then the verdicts came down on April 29th," he said. "By August, I was a communist."
Jones and other young activists in 1994 formed a group called Standing Together to Organize a Revolutionary Movement, or STORM, rooted in Marxism and Leninsm. Two years later, Jones launched the Ella Baker Center, an Oakland, Calif., based "strategy and action center" which states that it tries to "promote positive alternatives to violence and incarceration."

I think it is about time the administration comes up with answers on why they came to hire this radical communist. Did they know about his checkered past and past statements, did they even perform a background check through the FBI, which would have almost certainly found this information for them? Or maybe a simple Google check would have given them information such as:
Jones says environmental movement ignoring blacks, implies racism.
Van Jones:"This thing is not going to be about winning now, it's going to be about winning everybody over."

Check out this clip from JanHelfeld.com. In it Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid says our tax system is voluntary and goes into various ignorant excuses as to why he said that. I have an idea Senator. SInce you readily admit our system is voluntary, I would be happy to exercise my right to choose what programs my tax dollars go to...and first I declare my wish that none of my hard earned dollars go to nationalized health care or a cap and trade system. Thanks.
Finally at the end of this Reid, when questioned again that our system forces one to pay taxes or go to jail, he says "No you don't go to jail." Right Senator, but only if your name is Timothy Geithner or Charlie Rangel.

This is a film based on George Orwell's famous "Animal Farm" fable. In watching it recently I am reminded of Mel Gibson's character in "The Patriot", Benjamin Martin, when he said, "Why should I trade 1 tyrants 1000 miles away for 1000 tyrants 1 mile away?" Our new Democratic Party seems to be aspiring to become the "1000 tyrants", based on recent actions and government takeovers....yes this is a cartoon, but very poignant and insightful....

The President plans on speaking to elementary aged students all across this nation on Sept. 8. While MSM has posed this as a learning session with the President and students, others all across the blogosphere have the true story.

The above image is "suggested discussion material" by the Department of Education for teachers. Look hard at the last statement. "why is it important to listen to the President" etc etc. The entire document is filled with questions for students like "what is the President telling me to do?". Are they intending to indoctrinate children into the masses? What is the purpose of this?
A movement has begun to have a National Day of Truancy on Sept. 8, to keep your kids from this sort of garbage. The kind of garbage we are subjected to when ABC runs an hour-long propaganda statement on health care from the White House.
