2nd weekend with no hockey

This is the second full weekend with no hockey since September. What do we do? No hockey until July. It seems amazing that we live sometimes seven days a week in our car back and forth to the rink 1/2 an hour away, sometimes twice a day with two boys playing. Last season we got lucky, a lot of their practices and games were piggy backed. But sometimes, one game was in New Hartford and one in Syracuse, or one in Oswego and one in Clinton. The farthest we traveled last year was Elmira. Mind you, this is a house league. But we travel. We also go to tournaments. B's team went to Buffalo this year, but he did not play because he had a concussion. It was an injury ridden year for him. Another whole blog post about concussions in youth sports will be coming soon!

So we will enjoy this weekend. Kids have half a day of school today. Spend time with Grandma and Grandpa. Erin gets her braces on Monday, big day!! Syracuse Crunch game Saturday night. Last one of the season. Oops, did I say no hockey this weekend?

So why would having a preview benefit you? Well, there are a few reasons. Most grocery ads are posted to their websites Saturday after 7pm, therefore you can do your own coupon match ups. Sometimes there are high value coupons, like the Snuggle $3/1 a few weeks ago, that you may want to order extra of and need to know to get a jump on your ordering.
