Angelica and Brenna are actors in the play School for Scandal which is part of The Vortex Youth Theatre Program. Each year a handfull of actors are selected from applications submmited by youth in the Austin Area. The Vortex at no charge provide a program that encourages and nurtures these young actors with seasoned Adult actors to present a play to the public. This year it was School for Scandal&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Bonnie Cullum Actress, Director, Producer, and Owner of The Vortex spoke about the Youth Theatre Program. For the past 17 years The Vortex has sponsored youth from around Austin to experience Theatre at no charge to them or their family. The program was born from Bonnie's own experience as a youth when entering the world of Drama. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Angelica, is a product of her mother (of course) being a Director in Theatre. I guess you could say it is in her DNA to be an Actress. Her favorite thing about East Austin is the wonderful restaurants, and vibrant community that support the vivaciousness of East Austin. Angelica was named after Angelica Houston the famous Actress. Also, Angelica is an Alumni of The Vortex Youth Theatre Program.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Brenna, favorite thing about East Austin is the Theatre, especially The Vortex. Being from the other side of Austin she loves the vibe and warmth that East Austin portrays when she visits the East Austin area. Every Monday from 1:30-2:00pm CST. My guests for July 14th were Bonnie Cullum, Angelica, and Brenna from The Vortex School for Scandal. Angelica and Brenna are actors in the play School for Scandal which is part of The Vortex Youth Theatre Program. Each year a handfull of actors are selected from applications submmited by youth in the Austin Area. The Vortex at no charge provide a program that encourages and nurtures these young actors with seasoned Adult actors to present a play to the public. This year it was School for Scandal Bonnie Cullum Actress, Director, Producer, and Owner of The Vortex spoke about the Youth Theatre Program. For the past 17 years The Vortex has sponsored youth from around Austin to experience Theatre at no charge to them or their family. The program was born from Bonnie's own experience as a youth when entering the world of Drama. Angelica, is a product of her mother (of course) being a Director in Theatre. I guess you could say it is in her DNA to be an Actress. Her favorite thing about East Austin is the wonderful restaurants, and vibrant community that support the vivaciousness of East Austin. Angelica was named after Angelica Houston the famous Actress. Also, Angelica is an Alumni of The Vortex Youth Theatre Program. Brenna, favorite thing about East Austin is the Theatre, especially The Vortex. Being from the other side of Austin she loves the vibe and warmth that East Austin portrays when she visits the East Austin area. She has recently been involved in Theatre when in middle school and is excited about being involved with The Vortex Youth Theatre Program.
