There's nothing like sleeping in on Saturday mornings and NOT waking up to an alarm clock. However, I did only sleep until about 6:50 a.m., it still provided me with a refreshing 9 hours of restful sleep.&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;Yesterday, while I was exercising, I got a really good idea (I seem to always think of new, exciting things when I'm exercising). What if I had my very own, live online TV show where I talk about hypnosis, interact with others and actually hypnotize you on the air. Every day would be devoted to a different topic, and the viewers will ask me for their help, or for something they wish to experience in hypnosis.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;The question is this: &lt;i&gt;Should I do it?&lt;/i&gt; Would you be interested in coming to a weekly live online TV show, where you can be hypnotized for free? I'm thinking along the lines of a place like &lt;a href="http://www.ustream.tv/"&gt;Ustream&lt;/a&gt; or &lt;a href="http://www.stickam.com/"&gt;Stickam&lt;/a&gt;, which will provide the viewers a chat room so I can read their questions or comments. &lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;I'm thinking this will be a whole lot of fun, both for me and you. What days and times work best for you to come and see the show LIVE (shows will always record for later viewing, but there's nothing like being there in the moment).? They don't care how it works, just that it does. But if you're anything like me, you want at least some scientific evidence that it provides a real change within the brain. If there were no studies on hypnosis, then I probably wouldn't be doing it, unless I knew for a fact that it works. This percentage depends on which gender you are, but no matter if you are a male or female, you know how important it is to keep and maintain muscle tone. Not only does muscle burn more fat (muscle burns more calories at rest than fat), but it also helps keep our bodies toned, fit and lean. Our bodies do need some fat to keep us healthy, but muscle is also an important component of our overall health.&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;Recent research has shown that the mind can influence the cells in our body, and actually influence them in a way to make them grow. In fact, one study took two groups of people to test this claim. One group exercised the muscle in their pinky finger with a small weight (that weight must've looked so cute!). The other group &lt;i&gt;only visualized&lt;/i&gt; exercising that muscle, without even lifting a finger.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;So what happened? The group that actually performed the exercise increased the muscle mass in their pinky. Obvious. The group who only visualized &lt;b&gt;&lt;i&gt;also increased muscle mass! &lt;/i&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-weight: normal;"&gt;I know you can tell I'm very excited about this, because it shows that visualization packs a heck of a punch in growing and building muscle. You have heard it &lt;span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-space:pre"&gt; &lt;/span&gt;before, and I will say it again. You cannot first come into a relationship and give yourself &lt;span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-space:pre"&gt; &lt;/span&gt;100% if you don't fully appreciate yourself first. No amount of money or material goods &lt;span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-space:pre"&gt; &lt;/span&gt;will help keep a relationship alive, nor will it help entice another person of substance &lt;span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-space:pre"&gt; &lt;/span&gt;towards you. Loving yourself is the foundation you need to become a part of a lasting and &lt;span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-space:pre"&gt; &lt;/span&gt;loving relationship.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-space:pre"&gt; &lt;/span&gt;By allowing yourself to love yourself, you are creating an "aura" or a new way of moving &lt;span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-space:pre"&gt; &lt;/span&gt;your body (body language) that lets others be more comfortable with you. When you are &lt;span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-space:pre"&gt; &lt;/span&gt;comfortable with yourself, others become comfortable with you, as well. Loving yourself &lt;span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-space:pre"&gt; &lt;/span&gt;isn't about standing in front of a mirror and saying, "By George, I'm good enough and I love &lt;span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-space:pre"&gt; &lt;/span&gt;myself!". It is so much more that that. You have to go deep into your subconscious mind and &lt;span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-space:pre"&gt; &lt;/span&gt;really embed words of love into your mind so that self love becomes second nature.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-space:pre"&gt; &lt;/span&gt;2. &lt;b&gt;Focus and awareness. &lt;/b&gt;Self hypnosis is powerful in attracting love because it also helps &lt;span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-space:pre"&gt; &lt;/span&gt;center and focus the mind on bring forth another in your life. Whenever you decide that you &lt;span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-space:pre"&gt; &lt;/span&gt;want something, and you really want it, your mind will be completely centered around that &lt;span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-space:pre"&gt; &lt;/span&gt;thing until you get it. In hypnosis, you use your ability to visualize and &lt;span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-space:pre"&gt; &lt;/span&gt;imagine the love you desire and fully immerse yourself in the desired outcome. Allergies happen in the brain, afterall, so why can't we use hypnosis (which works directly with the function of our brains) to "re-worked" the networks associated with allergies. When this occurs, our immune system turns on into a hypersensitive state and tries to attack this foreign substance.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;There are two types of cells (B- and T- cells) which protect your body from these substances, when they mistake this substance as being harmful, and allergic cascade happens within the body. &lt;i&gt;Histamines &lt;/i&gt;are released to combat the harmful invader, producing sneezing, rashes and other allergic symptoms.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;Since every process that happens in our body first has to be received by messages in our mind, we know that the brain is controlling this entire sequence of events. Our mind makes the mistake &lt;b&gt;first&lt;/b&gt;, which then directs the cells (B and T) to release the histamines to counteract the allergen.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;b&gt;How to Use Hypnosis for Allergies&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;Certain studies have already shown a link between hypnosis and a lessened allergic response, and there are thousands of people in the United States alone who have attempted and succeeded with relieving themselves of allergies through hypnosis.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;However, how does it work? I suspect that whenever we form that mind-body connection during hypnosis and during trance, we can actually "speak" to the cells in our body and help direct them towards reacting in a different manner when exposed to an allergen. &lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;Dr. Bruce Lipton, a forerunner in the field of epigenetics, has already shown in his own research that our subconscious thoughts and belief patters actually do "speak" and direct our cells in our bodies, making sense to the idea of using hypnosis. When we go into trance, we go straight to the subconscious mind, thus affecting those thoughts that direct the cells to form a healthier response to allergic stimuli.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;Hypnosis also uses imagination and visualization exercises that allow you to put yourself in a safe place whenever you encounter an allergic response. For example, in my hypnosis program I use both a &lt;i&gt;cell talk &lt;/i&gt;AND visualization exercise that goes deep within your subconscious awareness and embeds a state of mind that you will automatically put yourself in during the encounter. This state of mind is usually a safe place that you feel the most comfortable, relieving anxiety and helping the cells respond in a healthy and smooth way. This safe place can be anything, but most people like to imagine a beautiful, bright white light surrounding them, protecting them and healing them.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;If you have used hypnosis for getting rid of allergies, or had success with my program, please tell me about it! I quote the term addictions because I actually don't believe it is a complete addicion to cigarettes at all, merely a habit that can easily be unlearned.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;b&gt;The Term Addiction&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;This is a very hard word, one that summons emotions of fear, pain, hopelessness, powerless, etc. But is is surprising that most doctors or specialists apply this term to a smoker, or one who engages in a habit every day, multiple times a day? Labeling oneself as being "addicted" makes the brain believe that it is broken, and that it will be extremely hard to try and lift this addictions and to give up smoking.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;I don't like to label people, especially with such a hard word like addiction. I do believe you can become addicted to other things, like hard drugs, Twitter and Facebook and maybe exercise. However in my own hypnosis  experience and research, I have found that people who smoke are more "habitual smokers", and that smoking is only 10% addiction and 90% habit (OK, I don't really know the percentages, but this is my guess).&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;b&gt;Breaking the Habit&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;There are usually three things that I see the most when dealing with clients or customers (I like to call them my family, but you get the picture) when they use hypnosis to quit smoking. These three things can sometimes envelop the whole habit of the person, or the person may only identify with one. Either way, when they &lt;i&gt;do &lt;/i&gt;identify, it makes it so much easier to overcome the habit of smoking. These three things are:&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;ol&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;b&gt;Habit. &lt;/b&gt;Always needing to do something with the hands, or put something in the mouth. Freud called this &lt;i&gt;oral fixation.&lt;/i&gt; It may also be do to anxiety or boredom.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;b&gt;Environmental triggers. &lt;/b&gt;Seeing someone else light up, smelling cigarette smoke, stressful situations, being offered a cigarette, etc.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;b&gt;Belief. &lt;/b&gt;You may actually have a limiting belief in your subconscious that you need to smoke, or that it serves you in some way. Perhaps cigarette smoke connects your mind with a memory of a loved one who used to smoke.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ol&gt;&lt;div&gt;These three points are all emphasized and addressed in most hypnosis programs for smoking cessation, and are especially worked through in my hypnosis CD (more to come on the availability of this program).&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;b&gt;Using Hypnosis to Give Up Smoking&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;Sometimes it happens after only one session. Sometimes two or three. Some smokers, when they feel the urge, whip out the hypnosis CD for a tiny "tune up". How come it is this simple, if smoking is truly and "addiction", that something like hypnosis (especially the powerful techniques that I use) can rid one of cravings and stop them from smoking, almost instantly? This is why I suspect it is more of a habit than an "addiction".&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;In my own hypnotherapy program, I use regression therapy where we go back into your past and find if there is something influencing your present to make you want to smoke. Even if nothing comes to you at the time, your subconscious mind has been "notified" to look for that memory, and works on finding it throughout the day. Sometimes whenever people do not noticing any memory during the session, they find that something "pops" up in their mind throughout the day, or when they wake up the next day. The mind truly is amazing sometimes (actually all the time!).&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;Also, we find the trigger that makes you pick up a cigarette, and we replace it with something that is healthy, life promoting and that will be completely productive for you. It's hard to do this without the techniques that I present in the program, but if you decide not to buy my program now, you can try and find the trigger on your own, and then go about replacing the action (smoking) with something more healthy (picking up a glass of clean, refreshing water, exercising, writing, etc.).&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;I did a radio show yesterday about how the mind works in overcoming addictions, and even did a short free hypnosis session at the end designed to "tune up" or get you on the right start to quitting smoking. The sun is shining, the air is crisp and new and my mind is full of ideas and imaginations. Don't get me wrong, I am not always like this. We all have our days where we feel a bit, what should I say, moody? Sometimes, for no reason at all, we feel as though we would snap at Mary Poppins. No human contact is needed or wanted during these days, as the world is plotting against my efforts. We all go &lt;i&gt;through&lt;/i&gt; this. What you want, however, is to not stay &lt;i&gt;stuck &lt;/i&gt;in this.&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;b&gt;Using Your Mind to Get Out of Your Funk&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;I never use the word &lt;i&gt;funk&lt;/i&gt;, but I believe that is an appropriate one to use for this subject. Sometimes when we are in this state of mind, where negative things seem to multiply by the minute and we continue to think, &lt;i&gt;I am a good person! Why is this happening to me?&lt;/i&gt; &lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;The problem is, while these things are happening, we constantly believe that this are happening &lt;i&gt;to us.&lt;/i&gt; It is understandable, afterall, seeing how the problems seem to center around our person, and how people or events just don't work out at the time. It's very logical to think that these things are happening &lt;i&gt;to &lt;/i&gt;us.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;However, the reason why these negative things continue to happen is because we &lt;i&gt;allow &lt;/i&gt;them to happen with our mindest. Let me explain. Every belief we hold initiates our actions. When we believe that a burgular, for instance, might break in because the door is unlocked, our immediate action is to lock the door. We do this without even thinking because we &lt;i&gt;believe &lt;/i&gt;that this is a possibility and our &lt;i&gt;actions&lt;/i&gt; prove this.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;Therefore, whenever we believe that bad things are happening to us, and that they will continue happening to us, they &lt;b&gt;will actually continue happening.&lt;/b&gt; Until you fall asleep and can go within, where your subconscious mind starts filtering the events into important and non-important things, you will continue feeling miserable and at odds with the world.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;b&gt;How You Can Change Your Mindset to Change Your Day&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;You don't have continue sabotaging your day with your thoughts any longer. There are certain techniques to change your brain, body and verbal language easily and instantly in order to change your day.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;ol&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;b&gt;Get out of yourself.&lt;/b&gt; Do something for others. I know this is one I'm sure you have already heard, and you might be over it, but it really does work. Knowing that contributed toward another person's life, even in the most miniscule way, can have a powerful impact on your mood. One single act of kindess--a smile, a "thank you", opening the door for another--can change that person's mood, creating a wave of good feelings that stride though many, many people throughout the day. You could help better the moods of so many people you may never have a chance to meet, all in one day, just by being kind to another.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;b&gt;Drink water! &lt;/b&gt;I am big on nutrition, as well as the mind. But in order to have a healthy mind to really get the benefits of hypnosis, you have to give it what it wants. Your brain needs water, oxygen and essential nutrients to work right, to think correctly and to handle stressful situations. The easiest thing for you to do to feel better, elevate your mood and turn your day around is to drink more clean, cool and refreshing water. It's getting me thirsty just thinking about it.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;b&gt;Use hypnosis. &lt;/b&gt;This is my favorite method, as I'm sure you are aware. Using your mind to accomplish anything you want is definitely not new to you by now. There is a way to heighten your sense, produce endorphins and raise your mood almost instantly.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ol&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-space:pre"&gt; &lt;/span&gt;Start by finding a cool, private place that you can have to yourself for 2-5 minutes. Close      your eyes, relax and start breathing. Breathe in for a count of two beats, hold this breath for a count of two beats and then release the breath for a count of two beats. Getting oxygen into your brain really provides a natural alleivieator for pain and mood. Do this exercise for about a minute and a hal.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;Next, see yourself in your mind as having a really good day--and I mean &lt;i&gt;really good&lt;/i&gt;. See yourself smiling, engaging with others, having fun, loving your life while still retaining humility and still adhering to your personal morals. After imagining yourself like this for a minute, continue breathing and then imagine yourself "jumping" into that imagined &lt;i&gt;you.&lt;/i&gt; Imagine totally immersing yourself and feeling aligned with those feelings of happiness and of having a really good day. You have turned your day around and you feel great and alive. Fully integrate yourself with this imaged &lt;i&gt;you&lt;/i&gt;, and incorporate all of your five senses within the imagination.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;Continue the breathing and then count backwards in your mind to wake yourself up. Go throughout your day and notice the difference. Your mood, your ability to handle stress and your emotions will remain stable and in control the rest of the day.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;__________________________________________________________&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;These things have always worked for me, and I'm sure they will work for you as well. It turns out, some parts of the world are introducing this powerful, life changing tool into public schools, hospitals and churches. It's absolutely incredible, in my opinion, that this burgeoning science, and this phenomena, is gaining the respect it deserves.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;b&gt;Why More Schools Need Hypnosis&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: center;"&gt;&lt;b&gt;&lt;img src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_PQLBm501Jx4/S9hEUmtQgNI/AAAAAAAAAJk/AbfRDg6QVgI/s320/1275249_study_table.jpg" /&gt;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;Being a child, preteen or teenager can be tough on its own. Pressure from friends, family and strangers often hang over the heads of many who walk through the halls of the majority of public and private schools across the world. Anxiety, mood disorders, learning "disabilities" (more like different learning styles), and the thoughts of the future are prevalent issues that plague many young people today.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;Hypnosis addresses all these issues, at their core levels, and helps people to understand, cope and deal with problems and situations that in ordinary waking consciousness is difficult to do. Young minds are especially adept at bringing forth change with hypnosis and hypnotherapy, as they are just learning about the world, more and more everyday, and are very receptive even in their waking world.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;Therefore, wouldn't it make sense to present hypnosis programs, "mind awareness", hypnotherapists in more schools across the world? I believe that the awareness is growing, as more and more parents, teachers, school administrators and even students are discovering for themselves, even more than ever, the possibilities of the mind. It is growing slowly, but I do dream of a day where most schools employ, or at least know of hypnotherapists to refer to students and teachers.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;b&gt;Hospitals and Medical Hypnosis&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: center;"&gt;&lt;b&gt;&lt;img src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_PQLBm501Jx4/S9hEoqnfNxI/AAAAAAAAAJs/oKfpbG8mq5g/s320/673855_doctor_patient_relationship.jpg" /&gt;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: center;"&gt;&lt;b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;The article I mentioned above concerns using hypnosis in a medical setting, and I can't think of a better way for doctors to incorporate a holistic complementary medicine into their practice. Hypnosis and hypnotherapy has been shown, time and time again, to decrease pain, inflammation, aide in childbearing and decrease anxiety before surgery.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;In the &lt;i&gt;&lt;a href="http://www.therapytimes.com/Nondrug_Techniques_Reduce_Pain_in_Hospitalized_Patients/content=0102J84C4876B684406040441"&gt;Journal of Patient Safety&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/i&gt;, it was shown that pain after surgery expereicend by patients &lt;i&gt;decreased by up to 50%.&lt;/i&gt; These were relaxation and mind-body therapies that elicted the response. Because hypnosis provides a way to reach a very deep relaxed state, can one imagine how much pain would be relieved through a hypnotic trance and also guided imagery, words, language patterns, etc., compared to mere meditation?&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;According to &lt;i&gt;&lt;a href="http://www.ivanhoe.com/channels/p_printStory.cfm?storyid=23772"&gt;The British Medical Journal&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/i&gt;, a researcher found that he was successful in treating 9 out of 10 patients with irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) with hypnosis. With his research, he found that those that used hypnosis for IBS can ease symptoms dramatically, and in some cases completely clear the symptoms.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;a href="http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/7143158"&gt;Another study&lt;/a&gt; conducted on children who were about to undergo a medical procedure showed that hypnosis made a significant decrease in anxiety compared to using non-hypnotic techniques. Not only does hypnosis work for anxiety before surgery, some people have even used it as a sedative rather than taking gas or a pill.*&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;i&gt;*This is not inteded for medical advice, and does not substitute a trusted physicians care. I'm currently typing this blog post backstage at a "Macbeth" rehearsal. I have always been interested in acting, and I am so glad I am in a play! In fact, before and after I auditioned, I used self-hypnosis on myself to make sure I would do my best, and that my talents would shine through all the rest. Hypnosis does work! I will blog more about my experience with hypnosis and getting the audition in my next post.&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;However, today I am coming to you with the idea of attracting love into your life. Love is always there inside of you--look for it and you can find it. Even in the harshest of situations, where anger and sadness seem to prevail, love silently awaits to return to your awareness and give you the pleasure that you deserve, and have a right to.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;Some may argue that as humans we &lt;i&gt;need &lt;/i&gt;love, from others, and that we would not survive any other way. Some argue that it is just a &lt;i&gt;want&lt;/i&gt;, a desire; a form of human emotion that wants to be fulfilled, but doesn't necessarily mean it has to in order for the person to thrive. I believe that humans need love and compassion, because without it, the world would be so full of hate that wars and chaos might be more prevalent than it is today.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;You might be at a time in your life where you are wanting someone, where you are &lt;i&gt;needing&lt;/i&gt; someone. You need love and you want this feeling to be satisfied, but you don't really know how to begin attracting love into your life. This is where hypnosis and meditation comes in, because these tools help gear your brain towards a loving nature more suitable for attracting and bring forth a love life.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;In order to attract love, you need to understand that love must first be in yourself, as I mentioned earlier. Finding love within, or developing and cultivating it, can be as easy as closing your eyes and taking a deep breath. Looking inside of yourself is a hallmark of hypnosis, and inserting and devloping certain traits and feelings (such as self-love) can easily be attained through hypnotic language patterns and visualization.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;People are attracted to those who are first and foremost in a positive and loving state of mind. Those who are looking for their "soulmate" are looking for those who emit a certain aura of love, kindness and stability. These are the traits that you want to find, or develop, in order to be more in tune with a loving atmosphere. This is what will draw others toward you.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;Simply by closing your eyes for about 15-30 minutes everyday, for about 30-60 days (it usually takes a considerably shorter time for most) and focusing on the desired traits (self love, a loving and positive attitude, etc.) that you want to develop or find within you. This is the first step in becoming connected with these traits. You then want to imagine yourself going about your day with these desired traits. The next step is imagining that you are in that loving relationship (friendship, lover, family) and that you move through these relationships with ease. You don't really want to imagine how it will be coming into the relationship; you want to imagine that you are &lt;b&gt;already in a relationship. &lt;/b&gt;By doing this, you will engage your mind to seeing and believing that it is possible that you can be in a relationship, rather than believing and seeing you can only start one. &lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;I have a video of one of my sessions in my &lt;i&gt;&lt;a href="http://hypnoticsubliminals.com/attractlove"&gt;Attract Love Hypnosis&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/i&gt; CD set. This is a surprise to you, as you had no idea this was how you felt.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p style="margin-bottom: 0in"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p style="margin-bottom: 0in"&gt;Throughout the rest of the day, you took this in consideration, looked at yourself often in the each reflection you passed, and thought, &lt;i&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: medium"&gt;Hey, I kind of do look tired&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/i&gt;&lt;span style="font-style: normal"&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: medium"&gt;. &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt; &lt;/p&gt; &lt;p style="margin-bottom: 0in"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p style="margin-bottom: 0in"&gt;&lt;span style="font-style: normal"&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: medium"&gt;Your emotional state begins to drop, you become irritable, or perhaps lazy or your body provides lack of energy. Good thing Jane told you this, otherwise you might have not noticed it, and continued your day as normal.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p style="margin-bottom: 0in"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p style="margin-bottom: 0in"&gt;&lt;span style="font-style: normal"&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: medium"&gt;But wait. Wouldn't that have been a better thing? If Jane didn't tell you how you felt, would you have felt any different than what you feel now (hopefully that sentence wasn't confusing)?&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p style="margin-bottom: 0in"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p style="margin-bottom: 0in"&gt;&lt;span style="font-style: normal"&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: medium"&gt;Congratulations! You have just been hypnotized. That's right, Jane hypnotized you. Of course she didn't realize it at the time, but she did it all the same. How did this happen, and what did her “hypnosis” do to you?&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p style="margin-bottom: 0in"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p style="margin-bottom: 0in"&gt;&lt;span style="font-style: normal"&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: medium"&gt;Well, Jane gave you a suggestion, by mentioning to you that you looked like you felt tired and unhappy. The power of other's opinions can affect anyone's mind in the most powerful way, if one lets it. &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt; &lt;/p&gt; &lt;p style="margin-bottom: 0in"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p style="margin-bottom: 0in"&gt;&lt;span style="font-style: normal"&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: medium"&gt;However, this opinion was a suggestion, which entered your mind and influenced the way you actually felt. When you heard what another person said about the way you looked, your mind began to see it as true, and the feelings manifested themselves within your body.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p style="margin-bottom: 0in"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p style="margin-bottom: 0in"&gt;&lt;span style="font-style: normal"&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: medium"&gt;I'm sure this scenario has happened to you at one time or another, perhaps not in the same way with Jane (thanks a lot Jane!), but it has happened to you none the less.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p style="margin-bottom: 0in"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p style="margin-bottom: 0in"&gt;&lt;span style="font-style: normal"&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: medium"&gt;When others suggest things about yourself, the world, the economy—it opens our mind to hear these things; and, if we're not careful, we can accept these suggestions as fact. Which, by the way, it is very hard to determine fact from fiction these days (just watch the nightly news—wait, then again, don't watch the nightly news!), so you might be more apt to accept them.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p style="margin-bottom: 0in"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p style="margin-bottom: 0in"&gt;&lt;span style="font-style: normal"&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: medium"&gt;This is hypnosis. Whenever a suggestion is told to your while in the trance state, your subconscious will accept everything as true. This is way every suggestion must be worded in the positive and present tense. Yeah, yeah, I know you have head this all before, but it makes a huge difference.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p style="margin-bottom: 0in"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p style="margin-bottom: 0in"&gt;&lt;span style="font-style: normal"&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: medium"&gt;If you suggest to yourself that you will never find a job, or that you won't make any more money than you already make, then your mind will accept this as a true statement, and you will become even &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;i&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: medium"&gt;more &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/i&gt;&lt;span style="font-style: normal"&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: medium"&gt;unmotivated to look for a job, or a make a job for yourself, or find other, creative ideas to bring money into your life.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p style="margin-bottom: 0in"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p style="margin-bottom: 0in"&gt;&lt;span style="font-style: normal"&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: medium"&gt;If you allow other people's suggestions about the world influence the way you think, you let other people hypnotize you. Don't let this happen! This could lead to negative attitudes about anything under the sun, which will prevent you from achieving your true potential and your overall success!&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p style="margin-bottom: 0in"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p style="margin-bottom: 0in"&gt;&lt;span style="font-style: normal"&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: medium"&gt;Hypnosis is a powerful, life changing tool, and it just isn't confined to a hypnotherapist office, or a hypnosis CD. Ron Jackson, whom you may not have heard of (as of course, I hadn't either), has worked alongside Michael Landon, Oliver Stone, and Doris Roberts.  &lt;/p&gt; &lt;p style="margin-bottom: 0in"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p style="margin-bottom: 0in"&gt;Now this is the part that interested me the most, because whenever I meet a successful person, or get to hear them speak, they will always, or at least more often than not, share the secrets to their success and attribute them to their “state of mind”.  &lt;/p&gt; &lt;p style="margin-bottom: 0in"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p style="margin-bottom: 0in"&gt;One piece of advice he told us was that it is not things that happen to us that define our life, but it is our reaction to these things that determine our life.  &lt;/p&gt; &lt;p style="margin-bottom: 0in"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p style="margin-bottom: 0in"&gt;This was an enormous comment, despite the limited word structure that supports this sentence. It had such a profound effect on me, and on many of the people around me. You could just hear the room grow silent over that comment, and if you listened closely, you might have even heard a couple of light bulbs go on in people's brains.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p style="margin-bottom: 0in"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p style="margin-bottom: 0in"&gt;It's not what happens to you, it's your reaction to what happens to you.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p style="margin-bottom: 0in"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p style="margin-bottom: 0in"&gt;It makes sense, as long as you read again. Perhaps aloud.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p style="margin-bottom: 0in"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p style="margin-bottom: 0in"&gt;This is what I do in hypnosis to help people overcome their fears and worries, to help people abandon and destroy images of them as being victims, and to bring people to the success that they deserve.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p style="margin-bottom: 0in"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p style="margin-bottom: 0in"&gt;If you are continuously reacting negatively toward situations, and seeing things as happening &lt;i&gt;to you&lt;/i&gt;&lt;span style="font-style: normal"&gt; rather than &lt;/span&gt;&lt;i&gt;with you&lt;/i&gt;&lt;span style="font-style: normal"&gt;, you develop a sense of self victimization, &lt;/span&gt; and you fall into the trap that you are powerless, and that there is nothing you can do in your life.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p style="margin-bottom: 0in"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p style="margin-bottom: 0in"&gt;However, &lt;b&gt;you have the power to change your thinking! You have the power to change your thoughts and reactions toward events in your life!&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p style="margin-bottom: 0in"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p style="margin-bottom: 0in"&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: medium"&gt;No one else can change the way you react to situations in your life, and life is not going to change &lt;/span&gt;&lt;i&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: medium"&gt;unless &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/i&gt;&lt;span style="font-style: normal"&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: medium"&gt;you change your perceived ideas of it.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p style="margin-bottom: 0in"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p style="margin-bottom: 0in"&gt;&lt;span style="font-style: normal"&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: medium"&gt;When people perceive situations in a negative way, they feel powerless and victimized. When people see a situation in a different, positive way, they feel motivated to change something, to do something different, and to do everything they can to make their lives better.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p style="margin-bottom: 0in"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p style="margin-bottom: 0in"&gt;&lt;span style="font-style: normal"&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: medium"&gt;When using hypnosis to change one's attitude toward life, and their reactions toward life's events, I sometimes find it just too darn easy. But, it is really quite simple. When you find a problem in your life, you &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;i&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: medium"&gt;must &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/i&gt;&lt;span style="font-style: normal"&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: medium"&gt;find that problem within your mind. By doing hypnosis, you can see that problem, release that problem, and then &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-style: normal"&gt;&lt;b&gt;change the way your mind reacts to future situations and events.&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p style="margin-bottom: 0in"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p style="margin-bottom: 0in"&gt;&lt;span style="font-style: normal"&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: medium"&gt;Whew. Just thinking about that speech Ron gave yesterday still fires me up. I'm going to have to go and do some more changin'. Well, most people would definitely say “yes”, as the amount of evidence to the fact is enumerable and to deduce this truth is insurmountable. Now, there are also those who say exercise leads to cancer, but let's not add them to this mix.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p style="margin-bottom: 0in"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p style="margin-bottom: 0in"&gt;It is true that exercise produces oxidative stress in our bodies, resulting in free radicals, but most of those free radicals can be combated by the antioxidants in our foods (eat those raw vegetables and fruits!).&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p style="margin-bottom: 0in"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p style="margin-bottom: 0in"&gt;Now, back to the question at hand. Exercise IS very good for you, but the main point of this post is to educate others about the importance of exercise benefits on the brain. After all, this blog is about hypnosis and how the brain works, so why not include this very useful and exciting information?&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p style="margin-bottom: 0in"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p style="margin-bottom: 0in"&gt;Did you know that your brain actually &lt;i&gt;grows&lt;/i&gt;&lt;span style="font-style: normal"&gt; when you exercise? Yep, that's right. How can hypnosis, a form of thought therapy, and exercise, a form of body movement (the best I could come up with), actually contribute to the growth of gray matter, dendrites, and cells in the brain?&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p style="margin-bottom: 0in"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p style="margin-bottom: 0in"&gt;&lt;span style="font-style: normal"&gt;Well, we're not sure. Science has come a long way in studying and reporting these findings, but the cause and the how remain unclear. Yet, theories do exists, however, most of them lack any substantial evidence or scientific backing.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p style="margin-bottom: 0in"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p style="margin-bottom: 0in"&gt;&lt;span style="font-style: normal"&gt;The &lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="color:#33302d;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:Georgia, Times New Roman, Times, serif;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:85%;"&gt;&lt;i&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: medium"&gt;Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/i&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="color:#33302d;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:Georgia, Times New Roman, Times, serif;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:85%;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-style: normal"&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: medium"&gt; showed that exercise helped grow new neurons in rats when exerting them on a spinning wheel. Recent studies have also shown that exercise can help protect against the damaging effects of Alzheimer's and Parkinson's disease.*&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p style="margin-bottom: 0in"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p style="margin-bottom: 0in"&gt;&lt;span style="color:#33302d;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:Georgia, Times New Roman, Times, serif;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:85%;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-style: normal"&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: medium"&gt;More research from independent sources have also shown that humans who exercised regularly had more gray matter in the areas associated with memory, focus and concentration than those that did not. This also correlates with the research showing meditators and people who did self hypnosis had stronger cortexes in the brain, along with more neuronal growth.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p style="margin-bottom: 0in"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p style="margin-bottom: 0in"&gt;&lt;span style="color:#33302d;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:Georgia, Times New Roman, Times, serif;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:85%;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-style: normal"&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: medium"&gt;Not only does exercise help grow new neurons, it also helps regrow and strengthen injured neurons, as would help in preventing further decay in numerous neurological diseases.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p style="margin-bottom: 0in"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p style="margin-bottom: 0in"&gt;&lt;span style="color:#33302d;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:Georgia, Times New Roman, Times, serif;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:85%;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-style: normal"&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: medium"&gt;Also, exercise, as well as meditation and self hypnosis, have been shown to fight the signs of depression. Not only does it help combat past traumas by making you think and reason more clearly, but it also affects the neurotransmitters in the brain that are associated with low seratonin levels (hormone that regulates mood), according to the journal &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="color:#33302d;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:Georgia, Times New Roman, Times, serif;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:85%;"&gt;&lt;i&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: medium"&gt;Psychosomatic Medicine&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/i&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="color:#33302d;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:Georgia, Times New Roman, Times, serif;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:85%;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-style: normal"&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: medium"&gt;. In fact, participants who were put on the exercise program fared the same as the one's taking a prescription medication.* &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="color:#33302d;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:Georgia, Times New Roman, Times, serif;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:85%;"&gt;&lt;i&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: medium"&gt; &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/i&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt; &lt;/p&gt; &lt;p style="margin-bottom: 0in"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p style="margin-bottom: 0in"&gt;&lt;span style="color:#33302d;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:Georgia, Times New Roman, Times, serif;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:85%;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-style: normal"&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: medium"&gt;Just think how fast, how quick witted, and how imaginative your brain could be, how healthy it could be, if you combined both exercise and hypnosis. Putting together two tools of brain transformation, both mentally and physically, can help alter the brain's chemistry, making you happier, smarter, and full of amazing, wonderful ideas and thoughts. I LOVE fall, but what I don't love is what it sometimes does to people, who allow the vision of the winter months ahead lessen their minds. Let me explain.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;In many of my clients, the return of Fall, or Autumn, however which you want to describe this season, brings about them a sort of relaxed and underperformed brain. They know, due to experience, that the winter months are quickly approaching.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;And what do you do, during these months, during the holidays? Do you continue to study, perplex your brain, and allow yourself to focus on growing your awareness towards new heights. Well, maybe &lt;i&gt;you &lt;/i&gt;do, as anyone reading this blog is very probably innately smart and incredibly intelligent. &lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;But, most people become more lax in their thinking, making them more suggestive to negative ideas and thoughts that may pass them by. They don't become unmotivated, necessarily, to create more success in their lives, but they don't take action as they would have in the warmer months.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;I credit this lack of action due to 2 things. The weather and the relax feel of the holidays.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;The weather in spring and summer fills people, naturally, with the feeling of energy, vitality, and helps motivate people to take more action and to participate more in life (as life is sprouting up all around us, in nature, during this time). &lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;The relax feel of the holidays are conditioned into us since childhood, and we feel no need to continue to expand the wondrous capabilities of our minds, at least at this time.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;Now, I'm not saying you can't relax on the holidays. Far from it! I can't wait until the holidays just so I CAN relax. But, I will continue to condition my mind with suggestions and continue to use hypnosis and subliminal messages and meditation to help visualize my success for the coming year. &lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;In fact, since you are using meditation, hypnosis and/or subliminal messages, you can relax at the same time as expanding your knowledge and working toward creating success. Hard physical labor does not always coincide with purity and accomplishment (although, the Puritans, and even the Pilgrims thought differently; think about this at Thanksgiving).&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;So, during these upcoming months, don't let your mind fall into the trap of being unproductive. Instead, be productive by using your hypnosis techniques and visualizations. I wrote the article, and I thought it was uploaded. Oh well.&lt;br /&gt;Either way, I thought I would address the question here on my blog, to help readers fully understand the difference of subliminal messages compared to that of hypnosis programs and hypnosis techniques. Both are incredible tools designed to facilitate in transformation, but both also have contrasting elements that not only correspond somewhat, but also complement each other perfectly.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div&gt;Subliminal messages use the power of word, just like hypnosis, to create deep change within the subconscious mind. However, unlike hypnosis, subliminal messages are practically unheard by the subconscious mind. These messages are “hidden” underneath pleasant music or sounds, and are sometimes interwoven with binaural tones to bring your brainwaves to the desired level for optimal change and performance.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div&gt;Because they are unheard by the conscious mind, or the analytical mind, they bypass this part of the brain and are sent directly to the subconscious mind. The subconscious mind has the ability to hear the messages that the conscious mind doesn’t, and when your mind is relaxed and at ease, these messages are accepted as truth, and new beliefs are instilled.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div&gt;These beliefs can include anything you ever wanted to change about yourself. You can allow yourself to instill new beliefs about self worth and self love, acceptance of others, the way you think about money and wealth, negative thoughts and beliefs—sometimes even instilling beliefs in your mind that you are connected with your psychic abilities and powers.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div&gt;When your subconscious mind truly believes something to be true, your conscious mind is directly influenced by these beliefs, and your inner world is thus manifested to your outer world. &lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div&gt;If your subconscious mind absolutely believes in your power of, let’s say telekinesis, then your conscious mind will also accept this as fact, and the mind power that you possess could grow into something quite extraordinary.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div&gt;As with the above example, I would have to say that I have never experienced directly the ability of telekinesis, or the power to move things with your mind, by using hypnosis. Although, &lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div&gt;I’ve never actually tried it; however, I have experienced this remarkable ability, and will one day do experiments on my own with hypnosis using this power. It's All in Your Head!</title><content type="html">I'm sitting here watching an episode of Charmed right now. I haven't watched this show for ages, which is very unlike me, for it used to be my favorite avenue of entertainment. I don't watch TV anymore, at least, hardly ever. I notice that when I don't watch television, I am more productive and more motivative to get things done, and I find a certain kind of freedom that I don't usually have. Anyone else feel the same way?&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;OK, so now you're probably wondering, "What the heck does this have to do with hypnosis?" You are very right. After all, this is a hypnosis blog, here to inform you on all things hypnotic. Don't fret; info is on its way!&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;Now, as I watch this episode, we find Chris (Drew Fuller) finally reaching out and telling his father (Brian Krause) about the issues he had with him while growing up. These issues have seriously affected him (he is always so moody!), and you can see how these issues have been holding him back from achieving the things he wants in life.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;Well, perhaps I'm reading a bit too much in to it, but I hear about these sort of issues going on all the time. Parents who are cold to their children or who ignore them, and children being isolated and unmotivated. Their self-worth goes down, and it leads to many issues later down the road.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;I've also seen these issues play out in hypnosis, where people go back into their past to find the source of a problem in their current life. There are some who are scared and afraid to commit to a serious relationship, or a relationship at all, and they can't figure out for the life of them why that is. We then go into trance, ask the brain to find that core cause or issue,  and help relive and relieve it from their minds.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;Many clients find that they have had relationship issues with their mom or dad, and since these were the earliest representations of stable relationships in their lives, they obviously find it difficult to commit to a stable relationship in their present.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;Now, if you are having relationship issues due to the fear of commitment, fear of failure, self-worth, etc., then it's time to release yourself and let your spirit, mind and heart soar and immerse in the wonderful feeling of love.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;Sounds a bit "1960s", but you really can submit yourself into a loving, committed relationship, even if you had difficulty in the times before.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;If you are wanting to find out how to have a better relationship, with your parents, friends, family, spouse, or significant other, then it's time to do some good ol' self hypnosis. You know, going deep into your mind, retrieving the memories from the past, asking your brain to analyze them, and then finally releasing them out onto the "winds of change".&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;You don't need to buy a CD to do this, or even go to a hypnotherapist. The best thing you should do in order to have better, lasting relationships with others, is to learn how to put yourself into trance, and to learn how to hypnotize yourself. Besides, I always have something else that I can be doing that is much more productive, much more exciting and exhilarating, that will help me move forward and upward in life (don't you just love getting into that feeling?).&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I was watching one of my favorite children's cartoon, Arthur. I have always loved this show, and it sends a wonderful message to children in each and every episode. However, today one of the characters, called “Brain” due to his high intelligence, reported a wrong answer during a pre-math contest (kind of like a spelling bee).&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;He obsesses. He believes his brain has quit on him, and he quits being who he is (a genius), and tries his hand at comedy. In the end, though, he returns to his true calling, and his love for everything math, science, and geography related. This is great; it really is a great message to children to tell them, “Be yourself; you are special and unique in your own way, and everyone loves you just the way you are.”&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;However (and there's the word, however), before the actual Math-a-thon, he tells himself, “Don't be scared, don't be scared, don't be scared.”&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;“Oh no!” I exclaimed, as everyone else in the room watching the television looked weird at me,&lt;br /&gt;“You can't say that to yourself!”&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Knowing what I know about the mind, hypnosis, and the power of positive intention and belief, is that we cannot process or accept a negative believe, comment, or idea. Our brains automatically go the actual “meat” of that sentence and bring it into reality. For example, if you were to say, don't be scared, your brain will actually do the opposite and fulfill your desire of not doing that specific thing.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Especially in children, where their minds are already in a hypnotic state, open and receptive to suggestions, they are much more prone to the wrong kind of thinking, thus leading them into a downward way of living.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;After the episode, I came up with an idea to try and develop a hypnosis program to help children of all ages (0-100), so they can rewire their thinking (in a sense), and start being able to tell themselves of the things they do want to accomplish, and what they do want out of their life. Only when you are actually talking and thinking about what you do want is the time when your brain will set of lights, sounds, and images that will give you ideas on how to accomplish your desires.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;So when I get this program going, I would like to have some testers. Perhaps parents who would like to use it with their children, or perhaps parents who would like to use it on themselves. As long as you are ready to begin thinking differently, feeling differently, and living differently, do you qualify.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I'm going to leave you guys on that note, and I hope each and everyone of you has an amazing week (just believe that you will; expect it, and watch it happen). There are a total of nine tracks all designed to help someone love to exercise, love to eat healthy, and help them set a goal for the future bodies. There's also a workbook that goes along with the program.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;When I was recording this product, I hear my voice in my earphones, and I go into a semi-light trance (yes, I DO hypnotize myself!). After listening to my own program just once, I'm waking up EARLY in the morning, something I've never done before, and I'm doing V&lt;span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_1"&gt;inyasa&lt;/span&gt; yoga, aerobics, ab exercises, &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_2"&gt;stretching&lt;/span&gt;, etc.! I feel energized throughout the entire day, and I feel great and awake in the morning.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:180%;"&gt;TIPS FOR HEALTHY EATING:&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;em&gt;1. When buying produce, always try and buy organic. Organic vegetables and fruits don't contain the toxins or pesticides that other conventional crops do. Toxins interfere with your bodies &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_3"&gt;natural&lt;/span&gt; rhythm, and it spends its time trying to rid your body of these things, when it should be doing other things.&lt;/em&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;em&gt;&lt;/em&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;em&gt;2. Eat lean meats, raw nuts (almonds are a favorite, and so packed full of nutrition!) and seeds. This will provide you with protein, fiber, and satiety.&lt;/em&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;em&gt;&lt;/em&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;em&gt;3. Eat slowly, because it takes your stomach 10 minutes for it to send signals to the brain that it is full.&lt;/em&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;em&gt;&lt;/em&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;em&gt;4. Eat breakfast! I know you hear it all the time, but this is a big one. While you were sleeping, your body is in a deep, sedentary state. You metabolism slows, and in order to boost your metabolism and your energy, your body needs food. &lt;/em&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;em&gt;&lt;/em&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;em&gt;5. Drink organic green or &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_4"&gt;oolong&lt;/span&gt; tea. These teas have been shown to reduce appetite and also been shown to increase metabolism and facilitate fat burning.&lt;/em&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;em&gt;&lt;/em&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;em&gt;6. Always stay hydrated by drinking cool, clean water. Your metabolism functions at its best when you are well hydrated.&lt;/em&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;em&gt;&lt;/em&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;em&gt;7. Keep a food journal, so you know what you are actually consuming throughout the day. You don't have to change anything about your diet the first week of keeping the journal. Just record what is going in your body, how much, and the number of calories. (A food diary is available with the "Healthy Lifestyle" hypnosis program).&lt;/em&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;em&gt;&lt;/em&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;em&gt;8. Eat the right number of calories that best fits your body type, and that also balances with your how much exercise you are doing. You can find out the amount of calories you need daily by visiting a nutritionist or your health care provider.&lt;/em&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;em&gt;&lt;/em&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;em&gt;9. Raw fruits are NOT nature's candy! Fruits are good for you, and they are low on the &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_5"&gt;glycemic&lt;/span&gt; index. They provide you with an amazing amount of nutrients, and the seep into the blood stream very slowly, giving you a longer stream of energy. Don't eat too much fruit in one sitting, as the sugar will add up. Break up your fruit servings throughout the day.&lt;/em&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;em&gt;&lt;/em&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;em&gt;10. Give yourself a day to relax, and to eat something that you LOVE. Enjoy the food with every bite, chew slowly, and actually let your senses expand so you can taste it and enjoy it to its fullest.&lt;/em&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;You don't have to need to lose weight to use this program.
