In februarie va urma un nou set, asa ca acesta va fi sters. Pentru cine doreste sa-l asculte in continuare, aveti doua variante : fie il descarcati de pe SoundCloud, fix il ascultati pe MixCloud.

SoundCloud a atins 10 milioane de utilizatori

Sunt utilizator inregistrat pe SoundCloud din iulie 2009, dar il accesez de la data lansarii, undeva prin 2008.

Platforma de music-sharing a atins 5 milioane de utilizatori in iunie 2011, iar dupa aproape alte 8 luni si-a dublat numarul de utilizatori inregistrati. Astfel, in momentul de fata, SoundCloud a atins pragul de 10 milioane de utilizatori.

In prezent, aproape orice DJ / Producator are un cont de SoundCloud, unde posteaza constant, noile productii sau seturi. SoundCloud este prezent si pe telefon, totalizand pana in prezent, 5 milioane de descarcari ale aplicatiilor de mobil.

O alternativa la serviciile oferite de SoundCloud ar fi MixCloud, care ofera incarcari nelimitate cu un cont gratuit, spre deosebire de SC, care necesita un cont premium. Totusi, prefer SoundCloud-ul pentru interfata grafica, fiind o placere sa asculti si in acelasi timp sa si "vezi" melodia (waveform).

Dupa setul de la sfarsitul lui noiembrie 2011, ma tot chinui sa incropesc cateva playlist-uri pentru cateva seturi noi, de genuri diferite. Pana acum n-am reusit sa finalizez nimic, dar m-am apucat de un proiect nou, pe care sper sa-l si termin.

Wikipedia protesteaza impotriva SOPA si PIPA

Acesta este mesajul pe care l-am primit astazi, atunci cand am incercat sa accesez Wikipedia.

Se pare ca americanii doresc din nou blocarea liberei circulatii a informatiei pe net.

"Wikipedia is protesting against SOPA and PIPA by blacking out the English Wikipedia for 24 hours, beginning at midnight January 18, Eastern Time. Readers who come to English Wikipedia during the blackout will not be able to read the encyclopedia. Instead, you will see messages intended to raise awareness about SOPA and PIPA, encouraging you to share your views with your representatives, and with each other on social media.

SOPA and PIPA represent two bills in the United States House of Representatives and the United States Senate respectively. SOPA is short for the "Stop Online Piracy Act," and PIPA is an acronym for the "Protect IP Act." ("IP" stands for "intellectual property.") In short, these bills are efforts to stop copyright infringement committed by foreign web sites, but, in our opinion, they do so in a way that actually infringes free expression while harming the Internet.

The Blue Nile este o trupa de muzica pop din Glasgow, Scotia, ce activeaza din 1981 pana in prezent. In 1989 ei lansau cel de-al dolea lor album, intitulat "Hats", album de pe care face parte si melodia care o propun pentru aceasta seara.

Nu stiu de ce, dar melodia asta ma deprima foarte tare si in acelasi timp imi place sa o ascult. Ma da peste cap, ma intristeaza, imi proiecteaza in minte o imagine a singuratatii. Cred ca asta au si incercat sa exprime, avand in vedere ca si versurile sunt de asa natura.

I was the guy wearing the black Burberry jacket that you demanded that I hand over, shortly after you pulled the knife on my girlfriend, threatening our lives a nd me.

You also asked for my girlfriend's purse and earrings.

I can only hope that you somehow come across this rather important message.

First, I'd like to apologize for your embarrassment when I drew my pistol after you took my Jacket. The evening was not that cold, and I was wearing the jacket for a reason.

My girlfriend had just bought me that Kimber Model 1911 .45 A CP pistol for my birthday, and we had picked up a shoulder holster for it that very evening.

Obviously you agree that it is a very Intimidating weapon when pointed at your head wasn't it?

Earlier, I managed to get in two threatening phone calls to the DA's of fice and one to the FBI, while mentioning President Obama as my possible target. The FBI guy seemed really intense and we had a nice long chat (I guess while he traced your number etc.).

In a way, perhaps I should apologize for not killing you ... but I feel this type of retribution is a far more appropriate punishment for your threatened crime. I wish you well as you try to sort through some of these rather immediate pressing issues, and can only hope that you have the opportunity to reflect upon, and perhaps reconsider the career path you've chosen to pursue in life.

Lasand la o parte faptul ca au productii din ce in ce mai penibile, acum o au si pe Elena Gheorghe sub aripa protectoare. E adevarat, piesa nu este lansata direct sub Armada Records ci la un sub-label, Zouk. Totusi, Armada are posibilitatea de a-si alege artistii si de la sub-labeluri, deci...

Piesa Midnight Sun (pe care am tot auzit-o peste tot, dar nu-i stiam numele) este promovata pe canalul oficial de Youtube al Armada Records.
