Seemed like a good date to start blogging again...however, Blogger seems to disagree. I have tried for about 20 minutes with no luck to get my pix to upload. So now, I am giving up. Just know, they were some super rad pictures...I looked way hot in them...the kiddos were all perfectly clean with every hair in place, and my house...in the background....not a single toy or piece of string cheese on the couch. Uh huh..that's right.

so much fun over the past week it's been SO hard to get back to reality here at home. We have been on vacation for 10 days and now I'm just still in beach mode. But oh well, next year will be here before we know it...speaking of time flying....Faith turned 5 today. While on vacation we came back through Charleston so we could have our annual pool birthday party at Mom Jet and Pop's house. Since Faith and two of her cousins all have Summer birthdays we decided to do an all in one party....

Mom Jet (Randy's mom)...made three of the coolest cakes...she's so talented...here is Jordan's cake..he is turning 14....

And Kaylee's bee hive com...how cool are the little bees made out of peanut M&Ms, tootsie rolls, and a gum drops...

And Faithy's Barbie cake that she has been DYING for. Mom Jet, you are so awesome...thank you and Pop again for always working so hard to make Faith's birthdays so special at your house :)

Wasn't that sweet of someone to give Faith money for her birthday to buy mommy something with....

In case you have never used a "string pinata"..they almost ALWAYS require being ripped apart at the end because it's impossible for the kiddos to pull them hard enough to make the candy come out...here is Mr Randy doing open tummy surgery on Miss My Little Pony....

I swear he's 31 :) And I wouldn't have him any other way....

I have tons of beach pics..but just haven't uploaded my point and shoot cards yet (yes, that is CARD(S)...what? You know this sista has to have LOTS of pictures .he he)...

My sweet hubby and me. For some reason every time I look at this picture I just feel like the most blessed woman alive to have Randy. Or maybe it's just my beloved beach that keeps giving me the goose bumps :)

Sad for vacation to be over but glad to be getting back to normal here at home...oh who am I kidding..I would MUCH rather be back at the beach.

I've decided to do a post of the......

Top 10 Things I've Learned since becoming a MOMMY

10.) You can NEVER have too many baby wipes..in the house...in the car...in your purse...in your pocket..never too many..EVER.

9.) When you hear the words "uh oh" coming from the bathroom...it's NOT a good thing.

8.) Leaving Vaseline unattended ANYWHERE is VERY dangerous.

7.) It IS possible to take 3 small children in one average size shopping cart and get a week's worth of groceries underneath the cart. Highly NOT RECOMMENDED...but possible.

6.) Letting a 4 year old girl pick out her own clothes, even if she looks like a hobo and has on two different shoes is MUCH easier than trying to talk her into wearing a matching outfit when you are trying to get to the gym before the nursery closes.

WARNING: All those of the male species STOP HERE. Girly talk straight ahead.

5.) When you start your period in the middle of Cracker Barrel, it IS possible to drag all three children to the ladies room, bring them all into one stall, get yourself "together" and answer 20 questions about what you are doing and "I thought that was a big bandaide mommy"..while at the same time managing to not let any of them touch the dirty floor/walls. Yes, it IS possible.

4.) Sometimes "good enough" really is good enough. Like when it's 2am and you're cleaning a poopy diaper in the pitch black dark without your contacts in and you have no idea if you got it all or not. It's most likely "good enough" until morning.

3.) Kids don't care. They just don't. Like when they see someone with one arm in the middle of Target...they "don't care" to ask how it happened. Or when you are crossing your legs while you cough in the middle of JCPenny they "don't care" to say "Mommy, please don't pee on yourself again"...and they "don't care" to lift your shirt up in the middle of the hallway at church to see your "bewy button"..they just DON'T CARE.

2.) Feeding your children a "healthy meal" is not ALWAYS necessary. They aren't going to die if they eat cereal for dinner...or cake for breakfast...or spaghettios for lunch 3 days in a row....or 5 or 7 days....

and the #1 thing I have learned since becoming a Mommy almost 5 years ago...

It IS possible to love each and every child just as much as the first. There is always room for one more in your heart. Whether you give birth to them...or just happen to be blessed with someone else's ...LOVE truly can go on and on and on...so...with this being said....

Randy, honey...dear heart...sweet pea...honey bunches of O's...One more? Just one more? Pa-leeeease??

Happy Early Mother's Day to all of you precious mommy's out there. We have the best job in the world...even when we haven't had a shower all day, our hair is all tangled and our clothes are more wrinkled than a 99 year old...it's worth it. Right?

Meagan managed to hide from all cameras..but she's still alive. Sorry for my blog slacking. I must say, I do not for the LIFE of me understand how people like McMama manage to update their blogs like 2-4 times a day, raise 4 chiltlins AND run a business. CRAZY GOOD MOMMAS I tell ya!

As most of you know, 4 out of 6 of us in the Thompson household have birthdays all in the same week in March. Some say they bet I hate it, but actually, it's kinda fun....

Some jokester thought it would be funny to put this picture of me on top of a cookie...I don't know HOW they found a picture of me like this..I'm usually so civilized in my pics...and yes, that is a 31, NOT a 37!

PARKER:

Would rather eat than anything. He looooves balls, balloons, trucks and of course his mommy :)

He has a silly personality...but a little sensitive at times. He wears his sister's dress shoes, walks on his tip toes and loves to JUMP. His favorite show is Barney, which he calls Bobby. My favorite thing he says...

"Wuv you"..I love you more..."Wuv you more mommy"....awe..melts my heart everytime.

PAIGE:

Paige is my little speed demon. She runs EVERYWHERE she goes. Guess that's how she keeps her tiny little figure. Like her brother, she is VERY silly...and makes the cutest facial expressions. She is very much a mommy's girl. She looooves shoes. ALL SHOES...and tights. Sometimes she makes me put her tights on over her pants. Her favorite show is Sesame Street..and she can pronounce it clear as day. My favorite thing she says...

"Uh oh Spaghettios" in the highest pitch voice you can imagine :)

Mommy and Daddy love you sooo much Parker and Paige. It's so hard to believe you're both two..seems like just yesterday you two were beating each other up inside my belly. Happy 2nd Birthday munchkins!

BEGIN! I thought I had MANY MANY more years to prepare for this kind of thing. ACTs, proms, driving tests....

But since I have been blessed with the chance to learn a little early...I'm having fun on this journey...I took Meagan for her driver's permit test today....6 hours (no I'm not kidding), 2 separate trips to and FROM the DMV, and about 36 practice questions along the trip later....Meagan is an official driver now. Well, between the hours of 9-7pm with an adult 21 or over of course :)

7.) Sunglasses..I have sensitive eyes to light..I have had to pull over before when I didn't have my sunglasses and it was bright out!

6.) my lip gloss...everyone knows I don't wear much makeup...but I can't stand my lips being dry.

3.) baby wipes...although it sounds only natural since I have three small chitlins...half the time I need them they are for ME!

Dear Daddy,

This is for Valentines. I love you dad.(don't put daddy again I'm too old now). I wish I could do this on every holiday. I love you more than mommy does. Some things I love about you are that you are cute, the way you dance with me in your arms, you're handsome, the way you carry me, the way you give me hugs and kisses, and the way you let me stay up late sometimes. I love you more than cake. I love you more than the ginger bread cookies that Santa gives out at the mall. Those are good too, but I still love you more. I love you more than the Valentine's tree and decorations. Happy Valentine's Day. I love you.

IN THE AIR... and on our plates. On this rainy day Faith and I decided to make these little Valentine's treats.

So yummy yet so simple....

1 pack oreos (regular or cakes)

1 pack of almond bark

colored icing ( I use the pre-made kind)

melt the pack on almond bark in a bowl in the microwave, stir it all up, dip each cookie/cake in the mixture, once completely covered place on a sheet on wax paper. Allow to cool until hard. Decorate til your heart's content

So easy, so quick and so purty...it took about 15 minutes to do the whole pack...and it made Faith's day :)

turn back into babies when they are sick. No, she was not pretending here. I said, "Faith, you used to sleep just like that when you were a little baby"...she giggled...she heard someone at the door and jumped up really fast and said "That wouldn't be very polite for them to come in with my booty in the air like that"..lol

She's feeling about 80% better today :) As for the rest of the sick crew...a few more days are needed. Hope everyone else is staying well...and if you haven't caught the stomach bug yet...STAY HOME!
