Apparently not. Rex Lee, who plays Ari Gold's (Jeremy Piven) assistant, tells us, "I won't say it's going to be a hit, because I don't think it is a hit, but it's not a flop." As far as Lloyd being Ari's bitch for another season, it looks like that isn't changing much. "Lloyd definitely wants a promotion and wants to move ahead. [He] asks for a promotion, but it doesn't happen, not by any definition of promotion I've ever heard of." Daniels was the casualty of the apparently very bitter break-up between the two MCD members, and now she won't even read David's letters. When I asked Corey Reynolds if we might see Daniels/Ravera at all this season, he said, "Not to my knowledge."

Can we assume that Gossip Girl's Serena won't be attending Brown now that she's off chasing Daddy Dearest? — Becky
MICKEY: Here's what Blake Lively told us about Serena's plans in the wake of being slapped with that paternal jaw-dropper. "She's thrown for this huge loop," she says. "There are a lot of things she's going to find out about her mother and about her background." In other words, Serena will not be heading to Providence in the fall... but she might not be in New York either.

Will Rachael Leigh Cook return to Psych as the schoolteacher for whom Shawn is hot? Or will he redirect his attention to the lovely Jules? — Mike
I heard that Supernatural's Jim Beaver is filming an episode of Psych. Is this true? — Candy
TIM: Cook does indeed return, but why limit Shawn's options? We've seen an upcoming script where another foxy lady spits some game in his direction — just before undergoing an exorcism. When a hellion tells you you're hot, you know she knows her stuff. And yes, Beaver turns up in the episode "High Noon-ish" as Stinky Pete, a character involved in the Old Sonoma Town mystery of the Ghost Rider. Psych's fourth season premieres Aug. 7.

Do you know if One Tree Hill plans to cast an African-American or other minority in any of the roles being added? — Dee Bee
MATT: Thus far, you're 0-for-2 on that wish, seeing as Robert Buckley and Shantel VanSanten have been cast as Nathan's agent and Haley's sister, Quinn, respectively. As for "Alex" (the supermodel fronting Brooke's new clothing line), Tree Hill is looking at "all ethnicities," so there's some hope there. For what's it worth, I can offer up this concrete piece of guest casting: NFL legend Jerry Rice will appear as himself in the Sept. 14 season opener.

Please tell me that HBO's Entourage is going to have more than the traditional 12 episodes this season — S.S.
MICKEY: It's just the dirty dozen, S.S., starting July 12 at 10 pm/ET. As Season 6 revs up, it's all about the lay-deez. Sloan (Emmanuelle Chriqui) is back to carry E's testicles around in her Fendi clutch; Alexis Dziena plays a hookup gone wrong; Jamie-Lynn Sigler is back as herself, and is still dating Turtle. And Jami Gertz is on board as the wife of Gary Cole's schlumpy agent. And she's a hoot!

I cannot wait for Leverage to start back up! Any preseason nuggets? — Lorinda
TIM: The July 15 premiere offers some of the show's sharpest, funniest writing yet, and finds the gang drawn together by the sound of music. Specifically Sophie's appearance in a Boston staging of The Sound of Music that's so bad one reviewer says it "made me root for the Nazis." We're also treated to the spectacle of Nate's latest crusade almost falling into his lap but instead flipping over and bursting into flame in front of him. Need more incentive to tune in? Parker dresses as a nun with a garter.

MATT: My name is Matt and I would like to say yes... but no, Privileged was not picked up for the fall. 'Tis a shame, too, since a little birdie tells me the following was on tap: Upon learning of Megan's season-ending sexual indiscretion, Will was going to succumb to a Chuck Bass-like downward spiral; Megan was going to sleep with boss man Robert Buckley, despite it being a less-than-savvy career move; and Megan was going to get a Samantha Jones-type gal pal who, by-the-by, was bedding Will's pop!

Is there a shot for the CW to pick up Body Politic as a midseason replacement? From the sneak peeks I've seen, it looks like it's got lots of promise, and I really need a weekly Jason Dohring fix! — Gina
MICKEY: I'm with you, Gina! Body reminds me of the heady mid-'90s, when I actually called Washington, D.C., home (in large part because of the movie St. Elmo's Fire). My CW mole tells me that the Beltway drama is still in the running for a midseason slot, but that it's up against the Gossip Girl spin-off, which has a few high-ranking fans in the building.

I loved the Breaking Bad season finale. Any preview of what's to come in Season 3? — Anne
TIM: "There's going to be a lot of guilt there and big opportunities for big, crazy stuff to happen," says Aaron Paul. He tells us Jesse will be distraught over the death of his girlfriend, while Jane's dad (played by wonderful Season 2 addition John de Lancie) is guilty he didn't rush her to rehab. Also, Walt just might feel guilt over the plane crash that deposited two bodies in his yard — assuming he ever finds out he's at fault. Look for our full Q&A with Paul very soon.

Question: Will Daniel Eric Gold, who plays Betty ex-BF/boss Matt, be returning to Ugly Betty next season? --Janeen
Ausiello: Not only is he returning, but sources confirm to me exclusively that he's been promoted to a full-fledged series regular! But don't take that to mean Matt and Betty will reunite and live happily ever after. In fact, I hear Betty producers are already cooking up a fresh obstacle for the pair, and rumor has it they want him to be lovable and blue collarish. (Think Seth Rogen only much cheaper.)

Question: Doesn't Scrubs' surprise renewal present a challenge for producers? I mean, last month's finale already showed us what happens to J.D., Elliott and Co. in the future! -Sydney
Ausiello: I posed that exact question to Bill Lawrence last week. Here's what he said: "[The flash-forward epilogue] just showed J.D. and Elliott together, and I'll stay true to that. Those two will still be together. But [next season] won't be about tracing that relationship... There's no possible way the show will succeed if it's just more trials and tribulations of J.D. Zach is basically doing [an arc] to help us transition to a new show. It's like if Hawkeye had done AfterMASH." (Click here to see what Scrubs will be about next season.)

Question: Thoughts on Lauren Graham possibly joining Scrubs? --Shelly
Ausiello: Shhhh…. you're gonna jinx it!

Question: As a huge Friday Night Lights fan, I absolutely loved your interview with Connie Britton. Is there any more news on who will be coming back next season? I live in Austin, and need to know who to be looking out for around town come September. --Amanda
Ausiello: In addition to Kyle Chandler and Connie Britton, full-time returnees include Jesse Plemons, Taylor Kitsch, Aimee Teegarden, and Jeremy Sumpter. Adrianne Palicki, Minka Kelly, and Zach Gilford will likely be back for short-term farewell arcs.

Question: You don't talk much about Raising the Bar. --Ben
Ausiello: I was waiting for someone to finally ask me about it! Producers are adding a young, idealistic female lawyer to the cast in a recurring capacity.

Question: Any idea who The Tudors will cast to play Henry's final wife, Catherine Parr? --Chris
Ausiello: I only know who was at the top of their wish list: Gillian freakin' Anderson! Sadly, I don't think it's going to happen.

Question: Any goodies on the new season of Leverage for Parker and Eliot fans? --Kelly
Ausiello: If by "goodies" you mean" "romance," the answer is no -- at least not in the season 2 opener. That's not to say the July 15 premiere is devoid of action though. The hour includes a car explosion, multiple gunshots, and a bone-crushing fight scene. And it definitely ends with a bang, er, three. Expect one character to get shot with not one or two, but three bullets lodged into their chest.

Question: Is Jennie Garth going to appear in any episodes of 90210 next season? --Emil
Ausiello: There's nothing on the books yet, but a rep for the show says "the intention is to have Jennie back next season." In other 90210 news, former Law & Order ADA Elisabeth Rohm will guest star as a robot bitchy socialite who locks horns with Naomi in at least one episode.

Question: I just read that Nip/Tuck wrapped production on its series finale on June 12. Got any spoilers on how it'll end? --Bernd
Ausiello: I'm hearing that someone will get left at the altar.

Question: Can we get an update on Noah Wyle's negotiations to star in Steve Spielberg's new alien invasion pilot for TNT? --Kelly
Ausiello: Sure can: He's definitely doing it!

Question: There's a new season of Entourage right around the corner. Have you seen any of the new episodes --Jonathan
Ausiello: Just screened the July 12 season premiere last night and I'm pleased to report that it focuses almost entirely on my favorite couple: Ari and Lloyd. Basically, Lloyd wants a promotion and Ari is having none of it.

Question: So does Ethan become the Vice President of 24 next season? Or maybe the first new gentleman?--Chris
Ausiello: You're wrong on both counts. According to an aide close to President Taylor, who asked not to be identified because he/she could get fired for talking to me, Ethan will be appointed the new ********* ** *****.

Question: Here's a question: What the heck has the awesome Melinda Clarke been up to? --Tammy
Ausiello: Big scoop: She's starring in a new TV series as a housewife by day and a spy by night. Unfortunately, the show isn't real; it's part of an upcoming Entourage subplot.

MATT: Why, did it look like Ziva was on death's doorstep in that secretly filmed torture scene? If so, think back to what NCIS boss Shane Brennan said about that grim cliff-hanger: Come September, "all will be revealed and you will be surprised. It will come at you from left field." (But, in a word: Yes. Sources whisper to me that Cote will be back.) Bonus buzzlet: Season 6 arrives on DVD Aug. 25!

I think the new FBI agent on Fringe should be played by Sarah Wayne Callies! — Dea
MICKEY: The Prison Break alumna is an interesting thought, but I had another, and I'm not the only one. Taking into account how many fans of The Wire there are in Hollywood (see: every guest star on The Office; Lance Reddick's career), wouldn't it be fun to see Sonja Sohn as Fringe's new Fed? It's true that Brothers & Sisters didn't give her a lot to do, but I think her level-headed vulnerability would work well among J.J. Abrams' freak-show ensemble.

Can we expect any bonding between Shawn and Henry in the new season of Psych? — Kelly
TIM: Yes. In fact, things get a bit too close as Henry tries to interject himself into Shawn's love life. Speaking of bonding, fans can also look forward to an episode featuring Heroes' Sendhil Ramamurthy and his real-life cousin, Jay Chandrasekhar, as, yup, cousins. Ramamurthy plays a man who believes he's cursed, while his cousin is directing a local theater's Bollywood project. Adding to the parallels, Chandrasekhar also directs the episode, airing in August.

Who's going to hook up with the new stud on 90210? Please say Kelly. — Rosemary
MICKEY: Kelly?! She will be his guidance counselor, Rosemary, you perv! Don't make me go all "Palin" on you. As usual, I'm hearing that Annie and Naomi will scratch each other's eyes out volleying for the tennis stud's attention, but that his love will belong to Silver, who returns to feisty form this season. (Any suggestions for who should play Teddy's Clooney-esque movie-star dad? I'm thinking Peter Gallagher would totally rock it.)

Can you give me any scoops on the upcoming season of The Secret Life of the American Teenager? I heard some rumors about a death! — Christina
TIM: Those aren't just rumors, Christina. Someone dies, and the death affects pretty much everyone on the show. You can also expect conflict between Ben and Ricky as they try to share dad duties, and a baby for Molly Ringwald's Anne Jeurgen — which means her child and her grandson (the baby born to 15-year-old Amy last season) will grow up together. The new season premieres June 22.

It was nice to see some Stargate Universe scoop in last week's column. So... got any more? — Brad
MATT: How about this? Reiko Aylesworth, dropped from ABC's The Forgotten, has bounced back with a possibly recurring role on the Sci Fi series. As who? Stargate auteur Joseph Mallozzi tells the Buzz, "Let's just say that her character, Sharon, is someone very important in Camille Wray's (Ming-Na) life." (P.S. Camille is a lesbian.)

I can't wait for Entourage to return. Will we see more of Jamie-Lynn Sigler? — Tony
MICKEY: After rolling my eyes at last season's trumped-up Medellin storyline (did anyone think that movie looked good?), I was relieved to find out that Season 6 (debuting Sunday, July 12 on HBO) fast-forwards past the filming of Scorsese's Gatsby remake. In the first episode, in fact, Vince pays Jay Leno a visit to promote the flick. But guess what, Tony? As reported in this week's Mega Minute, Jamie-Lynn is still in the picture — and will be for much of the season, as a very different Turtle emerges from his shell. (See what I did there?)

What is the overall tone of the upcoming TNT series Dark Blue? Is it similar to such intensely character-driven cop/suspense dramas as The Shield and NYPD Blue, or is it more in the vein of dramedies like Burn Notice and Leverage? — Alex
MATT: I have to tell you, I begrudgingly popped Dark Blue (premiering July 15) into my Sony Watchman DVD player the other day, and I was pleasantly surprised. The series — about a team of undercover cops headed by Dylan McDermott — is grittier in tone than, say, Leverage, though I wouldn't say it hits Shield-like depths of stark realism. My only quibble is Supernatural alum Nicki Aycox's "accent," which sounds to me like "Oklahoma by way of Melbourne."

Entourage - Casting News

The Hollywood-centric HBO comedy "Entourage" is loading up on more industry types with several guest castings.

Matt Letscher, William Fichtner and Scott Caan have been tapped for multiepisode arcs on the series' upcoming sixth season.

"Eli Stone" alum Letscher, repped by Domain and Sanders/Armstrong/Caserta, plays Dan Coakley, a handsome, arrogant TV studio executive who oversees Drama's (Kevin Dillon) TV series.

"Prison Break" co-star Fichtner plays Phil Yagoda, a slick TV producer who had a hit teen series in the 1990s and is trying to remake it with Drama.

Paradigm-repped Caan, best known for his role in the "Ocean's Eleven" franchise, plays Scotty Lavin, a cocky and highly competitive manager who acts tough and trash talks to cover up how insecure he is and sees E (Kevin Connolly) as a threat.

Zac Efron Joins HBO's Entourage

High School Musical hottie Zac Efron is the latest big celeb to make a cameo on HBO's Hollywood-centric comed, Entourage.

HBO confirms to E! News exclusively that Zefron filmed scenes for the show's upcoming sixth season at the Beverly Hills Niketown store on Tuesday morning.

But what happened? Will he be tangling with Adrian Grenier's Vincent or is he Ari Gold's (Jeremy Piven) newest big "get"? Here's what we're hearing...

"He was filming a scene and talking on his cell phone," says one Niketown employee. "None of the other Entourage cast was here. He was really nice."

Efron was strictly business and did not snag any Nike gear for himself. An onlooker says he and the Entourage film crew arrived around 9 a.m., before the store opened, to shoot his scene.

"He was wearing sunglasses, and he left in a limo with another guy," says the eyewitness.

Season six of Entourage is slated to premiere on HBO July 12, at 10:30 p.m. Other anticipated celebrity guest stars appearing as themselves in season six include musician Lil Wayne, superstar athletes Tom Brady and LeBron James and TV auteur Aaron Sorkin.

Gary Cole, Autumn Reeser and Kate Mara are also slated to appear, playing a new group of agents (and assistants) who work with the boys.

If you haven't seen this show yet, please take advantage of the summer doldrums to give it a shot. Better Off Ted is very funny and surprisingly endearing as well.

Diana in Bend, Ore.: What can you tell us about True Blood? I'm so excited for season two!
We just chatted up True Blood star Stephen Moyer and asked him about the future of Nelsan Ellis' brilliant Lafayette, and Moyer said, "Lafayette, I can't talk about. Nelsan is an amazing dude, and, uh, I hope he does come back...but I, you know...who knows." There's no decisive statement in there, but "I hope he does come back" seems to suggest that Lafayette's gone somewhere, and for that matter, Nelsan's Lafayette also does not appear in any of the season two promo photos, the press releases or the books after Dead Until Dark. Long story short, we're starting to feel pretty naive for having believed/hoped the show was just toying with us and would find a way to keep Lafayette around for season two and beyond. We are going to need a lot of naked vampires to make up for this disaster. There's one moment where they switch without signal from "I hate you, evil slag" to "Cute necklace" and it encapsulates everything you need to know about the relationship between these two sisters.

Since her pregnancy is the only thing keeping her alive, Nancy's more than happy to keep the baby for now! That said, if Nancy is going to save herself from one of Esteban's hitmen before season's end, it looks like it will probably be thanks to some combination of DEA guy, Guillermo and the well-armed Mexican rebel leader (the ubiquitous and hot Kevin Alejandro) with whom Celia becomes close frienemies.

We asked Annie's (Shenae Grimes) 90210 co-star Jessica Stroup that very question: "Of course it's going to change Annie inevitably. She's going to be a totally different character. I think next year is going to be amazing for her because she's going to go through a lot of changes with this character and down some really, really dark roads. I hope, at least, that it affects every one of us. I know that it's going to affect all the characters, but I hope it brings us back together at some point as a whole group."

Alicia in Sioux City, Iowa: We had to give up Showtime to save money—can you fill me in on The Tudors via spoilers until I can get the DVDs?
Damn this Great Recession! It's ruining everything. That said, Henry is at a bit of a low point now anyway, so you could probably see The Tudors season three via DVD and be fine. H8 is getting older and going through a depression. Summary: Anne of Cleves is a nervous wallflower (kudos to Joss Stone, though, for doing a great job in the part), and Katherine Howard is a total ho. Beautiful Princess Mary, on the other hand, is starting to crack up just a little bit, and that makes for great TV. We're eagerly awaiting The Tudors spinoff, Princess Wars: Mary vs. Elizabeth.

Mary in Las Vegas, Nev.: I'm so glad Mark-Paul Gosselaar cut his hair! Oh, and I'm really looking forward to Raising the Bar, too!

Plus, we were at the premiere, so we're overloaded with scoop. Let's start with the fact that Rachel Berry (Lea Michele) actually takes a break from the Glee club around episode five. Lea tells us, "She won't be gone for long, that's for sure. She's still on the show, she just might take a break from the Glee club." Ausiello: Production on season 4 starts May 28 and, if all goes according to plan, new episodes will begin airing this fall. Spoiler-wise, six months will have lapsed on-screen between the finale and the premiere, which means the birth of Dexter and Rita's son will have already happened.

Question: Okay, Ausiello, tell me the truth. Is the person being killed off in the season finale of Law & Order: SVU listed in the opening credits? --Geoff.

Ausiello: Her health may be going to pot. Producers are auditioning thirtysomething actresses to play Nancy's trusted doctor on a recurring basis. Of course, the fact that the role is calling for tasteful nudity and simulated sex makes me wonder if Nancy will be playing doctor with her doctor.

Ausiello: The other man currently destroying Robert and Kitty's marriage on Brothers & Sisters, Matt Letscher, has been cast as the TV exec overseeing Drama's show.

Ausiello: Here's what you already know: Everyone (including Amy Ryan's Holly) gathers together for Dunder Mifflin's annual company picnic. Here's what you don't know: The episode ends with a doozy of a twist, the repercussions of which will be felt well into next season.

Ausiello: Interesting choice of words. Makes me wonder what Jim Walsh is up to. I hear we may find out in the finale.

Question: You're funny! Will Luke Grimes be a regular cast member next season on Brothers & Sisters? --Henri.
Ausiello: Yes, I can confirm that I am funny. Oh, wait, that wasn't a question. My bad. Re: Grimes, I believe making him a series regular was the plan, but that may change in light of growing Ryan backlash. Personally, I have no problem with the actor. It's the way they're writing him that irks me. His creepy obsession with Rebecca was bad enough, but now he's teaming up with Holly to take down the Walkers? And the fact that the writers allowed their sharpest character -- Sarah -- to fall for it hook, line, and sinker is unforgivable. Can you tell I'm a little down on B&S these days?

Question: What is your gut feeling on Chuck's chances of renewal? --MD
Ausiello: After watching the finale, my gut feeling is that Josh Schwartz and Chris Fedak left NBC with absolutely no choice but to bring it back for a third season.

Question: I'm writing you as I watch Ugly Betty film a scene outside the Woolworth Building, which doubles as Meade Publications Headquarters on the show. It looks like someone important has fallen from the building and onto a car. Who is it?! --Rachel

Entourage - Kate Mara joins Cast

Kate Mara will be joining the cast of Entourage this season, TVGuide.com has confirmed.

The young actress will play E's new assistant at his fledgling talent-management company, and perhaps his love interest as well.

Mara is best known for playing Heath Ledger's oldest daughter in Brokeback Mountain and for appearing as computer analyst Shari Rothenberg during 24's fifth season. She'll also appear in next year's Iron Man sequel.

Entourage's sixth season will air on HBO this summer.

Doug Savant may be busy with Desperate Housewives, but he tells us, "If they were interested in having me back, I would entertain the idea. They haven't asked me; I'm very interested in the new Melrose Place. [My real-life wife] the gorgeous Laura Leighton is going to show up on the show, and I'm sure it's going to be a huge success, so I'm really excited about that."

Gorilla1boy: I wonder, how long can they drag out the Red John story on The Mentalist? I mean, they have to catch him this season, right?

Rex Lee tells us that it's not just Vincent Chase who sees success this season. Hard-working Lloyd might just get a leg up too. "My character is ambitious, and he's trying to get ahead in the world, so this season is all about moving up a little bit," he says. Will he be leaving his post as Ari Gold's assistant? "It's possible. But I want to stay with the show as long as they'll have me." He adds, "This season is a throwback to early seasons."

Mary in Princeton, N.J.: What can you tell us about Mekhi Phifer's guest starring role on Lie to Me?
For one, it's not a guest role. "I'm going to be a series regular," Mekhi told us at the TV Land Awards. "I'm one of the leads on the show. I'm on my second episode right now.
