I'm new.

School is out

Summer is here, time to relax. Also time to get into shape. That means a steady routine of working out and exercising. Also need to do well in my summer class, so I'll be read the book cover to cover -_-.

I have watched the new southpark episodes this season, and wow. They are just simply not as funny. Their stories seem underdeveloped and not as well written as the older episodes. The last one was about crack babies and the one before that was about a Canadian ceremony and a monster named tooth decay. Not their best work to say the least.

Lately I have been watching a lot of family guy and American dad since they seem to always be on. It's not super funny either, but for some reason it's just nice to have in the background while doing other things. Wasting electricity for sure, but the comfort I get from it is worth it.

Well, I need some movie recommendations for summer. Scary movies, comedies, action, I really don't care. Just throw out any movies that you really enjoy and recommend.

Card Games

My roommate currently brought his YuGiOh cards to "bring it back". WTF, that game is so weird. I used to play magic the gathering back in the day and everything was sensible. You needed a certain amount of mana to play cards. With yugioh you just put out one monster card a turn with 4 stars or less. I doesn't make sense why you would have 2 or 3 star cards in your deck since 4 star cards are usually better and are able to be played similarly. Then you "tribute" the 4 or less star card to play a higher than 4 star card.

Magic is way more logical. I used to know a guy who collected tons of magic cards 10 years ago. I can't believe how these games are still somewhat popular. Pokemon, yugioh, and magic have been around for a while if you think about. The money these guys must be making. $20 for 60 cards was what I used to pay.

I used to have a Green monster deck, and a zombie deck. Burn decks were amazing. Flying decks were annoying as hell. I think I'll whip out my magic cards over the summer.

Absolutely Fabulous is a British tv show that I saw on bbc. It is an old style sitcom from the mid 90's. I just saw it a month ago, and I was pretty entertained. If you are super bored, browsing blogs all day... then you might want to check it out. No tits, just crazy 90's clothes and good ol' sitcom comedy. I'm sure you can stream it somewhere if you don't get bbc.

Old Computer games.

There are many old games that I miss playing, especially when they were popular. Most I have no recollection of their name. I do remember simtower and sim city 2000 because they were popular in my family. I just downloaded sim city 4, and holly crap. I aint what I used to be. Building cities is kinda hard. I had to look for tutorials on youtube..

Other games I enjoyed playing as a kid were jedi knight, counter strike, starcraft, warcraft, diablo 2, duke nukum 3d, and many others that I cant think of this very second. There was a game called shogun? that is really old, probably 14 years ago, that's similar to armored core. I never found any information on it online since there is a newer game called shogun. I remember playing that game on dialup tho, and it was amazing. Another game around the same time was I think called evolution, which was a retarded starcraft in a way. That was the time I watched the anime: ranma 1/2. I was around 7 years old.

Asus Gaming Laptop Dilemma

I currently have this Asus g51j that I bought last year and was discontinued shortly after. I guess there's a problem with the i7core because there is CPU throttle? I think Asus has a 2 year warranty and I bought it a year ago on amazon. Should I try to get Asus to send me a newer one that costs the same or am I screwed because I bought it from amazon?

This computer bsod's from firefox sometimes as well as games. Not really digging the new style of the g51, however this computer is driving me insane. I experience lag while typing periodically until I restart the computer. Then it's fine for a while until I'm on Firefox for a couple of hours.
