After the popularity of its search engine the Gmail (Google Email service) and Gtalk (Instant messager) got positive response. The reason may be due to the advance features which are not available in other email programs. Initially when Gmail was introduced it was having normal features but Google ameliorate it later. Now if we open a Gmail account you can check email, see who is online without opening Gtalk which was not possible in previous version. Gmail can be accessed from any device due to advanced technologies such as IMAP, POP, forwarding, ActiveSync and web apps. There is facility for archiving and indexing the conversations made through Gtalk in Gmail. So, after introducing such features now Google has found that social networking has to be the next upgrade in Gmail. After seeing the importance of social networking and information sharing from the sites like Facebook and Twitter, Google Buzz was started. This feature integrates social networking and sharing with in Gmail which can also be accessed through mobile.

The Google Buzz icon is just below the inbox link of Gmail, which gives you access to share thoughts and give comments on photos and videos links, with public and private contacts. Main features such as auto following, inbox integration makes it a good service which is not available in Facebook or Twitter.

When the Buzz is opened for the first time you can see list of suggested most used contacts of Gmail and Gtalk as shown in above image. These contacts are automatically shown which can be added to your follower list. Some personal information and photo album, comments cannot be shared with everyone in such case remove the tick in the checkbox before the user you do not want to follow. It means that if the person follows you or vise versa, then only the updates are shown to both of you. The person in you follower list can see your posts and also other people comments on it. Another important thing to note is by default your profile is made public and all Buzz users can see all contacts and the photo albums, videos shared. The settings to change this option can be modified, by selecting setting option where you can find Buzz tab. Select, Do not show these links on my public profile. In the same window you can also select, Do not show Google Buzz in Gmail which will hide the Buzz icon in Gmail. Google Buzz can be disabled using the same option but it will delete the users Google profile and Buzz posts.

One fine thing in the Google Buzz service is the way of displaying shared photos in a full screen view mode. And these pictures are snuggled into your Gmail account which is shown when you access Gmail. Users can integrate with Picasa and Flickr to show their photos, which they want to share publicly on Buzz. But there is a drawback using Picasa as the whole album cannot be shared in the present version of Google Buzz. To share videos, YouTube account can be integrate without any problem or you can directly upload from desktop. Email notification is send to Gmail Inbox whenever you receive comment on your post, when you comment on someone post and when a Buzz is given by one of your contact to start conversation. These email notifications can be restricted to some extent only. In the email, press the More Actions button and select mute, which can stop notification of someone else comments about a post. Though this may be a problem to some people to receive each and every comment, at present Google has not provided any solution.

If compared to other popular sites like Twitter and Facebook the idea of Google Buzz is different. All services at one place is the idea, which is different but previously Microsoft’s MSN and Yahoo mail also incorporated this type of service. Due to popularity of sites like Facebook maybe MSN and Yahoo could not get much recognition for such service. Maybe Google is confident about the Google Buzz and launched it when already such services are provided by other popular sites. We do not know the strategy of Google by it has in recent years entered Mobile industry by introducing super smart phone the Nexus One, started an operating system and Internet Browser. Though there are competitors in every industry, it has always tried to bring something new which slowly picks up the market. Take the case of Google chrome, when it was introduced IE and Firefox were already popular in the market. But some advanced features gave Google chrome equal popularity now. When compared to other social networking site Google Buzz is having accessibility via mobile phone. Users having iPhone and Android can access Buzz through their mobiles. There are two ways to access Buzz which is either through Google Mobile’s Website or Google mobile maps. With Buzz on mobile you can figure out the exact location and share it, geotag buzz post which is shown on Google maps, locate people nearby you and see their buzz posts. Another great feature is voice recognition, with which you can post on Buzz. With such advanced technology there is a hope of Google Buzz being accepted slowly.

Subscribe to Its my life

Morchat is right choice to hang on with friends and earn few bucks as well..

Hello friends, from past few months I am busy with one lovely site that is MoraChat. There are lots of categories a member can explore in MoraChat but responding in some categories a member has to cross 200 posts then only they are allowed to use those categories. Even posting pictures are allowed only after reaching 200 posts. It is not that hard to reach 200 posts, so, do not much worry about it friends..

How will one earn?

One has to be active and daily have to spend 1 hour minimum, each post and response given by you to others threads will be immediately credited to your account. Presently the product is under testing and will soon make a trail version(Beta version), which would be available through its website.

The free version contains basic features for fighting with different range of viruses and is named with code-name “Morro”. Previously Microsoft entered market with Live OneCare which was a flop and then the firm announced that it will come out with free service by end of 2009. Though Microsoft said, users can get protection from several types of malicious software, viruses, spyware, rootkits and Trojans the competitor are not seeing Morro as a threat. At the base of the Chinati Mountains, spook lights are often seen by passersby and by interested onlookers who travel to Marfa to witness the phenomena. They often appear to look like lanterns in the distance, sometimes up to 30 miles away. Many, who have tried, were not able to get closer to the mysterious lights. They always seem to move farther away, the closer a person gets.

There are not many conflicting stories of what the lights are or how they came to be. Some say they are ghosts, others believe them to be some sort of weird atmospheric or geological phenomenon. However, there is a story of two geologists witnessed some strange events while prospecting for uranium on March 19, 1973. The pair was sitting in their car when suddenly, some horses in a nearby field started acting erratically and bolted away. Seconds later, a ball of light rapidly shot from the southwest, with another ball of light chasing behind it. Both lights were about the size of a persons head and they chased one another through some bushes and then, they sat still and hovered for a few seconds before darting off and vanishing from sight.

The first recorded case of sighting these strange lights took place in the year of 1883, reported by Mr. Plumbley. Mr. Plumbley's daughter, Julia, still lives in the area today and takes offense to people who offer explanations of the lights. The locals of Marfa, Texas are very proud of their lights and they do not take kindly to those who disbelieve.

Resource: Book - Unexplained Mysteries of the 20th Century by Janet & Colin Bord

Subscribe to Its my life

Senior citizens can also enjoy social networking site launched for them

Using technology and especially social networking sites to communicate with friends and sharing views has always been a favorite pastime for youngsters. The recent cases reported death of a medical student in Himachal Pradesh where he was beaten in the name of ragging and in another case a student was almost blinded.

After the death of Aman Kachroo a medical student his father had proposed a helpline to check ragging. By June15, 2009 a toll free 24X7 helpline will be placed which is announced by the University Grants Commission which will follow rules. The rule to be termed as the UGC Regulations on Curbing the Menace of Ragging in Higher Educational Institutions, 2009. The rules are applied to all universities under the Central or State Act and all deemed universities.

Within 15 minutes of a complaint on ragging in an institution, the head of the institution will be reported and will be asked for an action taken report (ATR). It is also seen that the HRD Ministry, UGC and the parents of the complainant are not informed about this as they may come in the way for taking any action. Hope this helpline may curb the brutal ragging cases to some extent. What do you say about it friends. Daily lot of accidents is recorded due to negligence by public. One such case is Pushpa Gujrathi who met an accident while crossing a railway track, who regrets still for not thinking before crossing railway track.

A resident of Kalyan, Pushpa to save time took risk of crossing the track at Mulund station which made her hospitalize. Her bones where broken and she permanently lost, control of bowel movement. While crossing in hurry, she slipped down and from the moving train a rod pierced her back. To fix the damaged bones of spine and ribs she has to undergo six operations and she has to carry colostomy bag for the rest of the life as her rectum was damaged and she do not have control over bowel movement. And after many years after the accident doctor detected another injury on her skull which took many days to recover. After such an accident Pushpa says, I am fortune as I didn't lose my limbs, this is a second life for me. Her husband was in huge debt while she was undergoing the treatment and Jyothi (elder daughter) had to take her mother's responsibility which made her difficult to cope up with studies.

Pusha Gujarathi is just one example and is lucky to survive after such a horrible incidence, there are number of such cases which occur daily due to breaking the rules. People should understand that rules are for their safety and breaking the rules may even cost their lives... thanks for reading this story with patiences, will come up with more, until then signing off with love..

By Madhu Vamsi..

Subscribe to Its my life

Chris Brown Domestic Violence on his Girl friend

Hi friends, R&B singer Chris Brown was in news recently for wrong reasons. His girlfriend Rihanna has filed a domestic violence case with LAPD (Los Angeles Police Department).

What ever, I was very sad that he had committed the crime and I hate people who hit women. According to media, Rihanna started an argument with Chris when they both were coming home from pre-Grammy party. Rihanna picked up Chris phone and discovered a THREE-PAGE text message from a woman he’d had a previous sexual relationship with. Chris stopped the car and attempted to push Rihanna out the car but it did not work because she was wearing seat belt. Chris then hit her face to window of the car and started punching on her face. Blood started falling all over in the car and on the dress of Rihanna.

See how badly she was beaten Chris even went to an extent of killing Rihanna, luckily she screamed very loudly. Suddenly Chris stopped hitting her and left the car, Rihanna soon reported the incident to LAPD. A case was booked on Chris Brown for domestic violence and he was taken to police station for questioning. Chris Brown was later released on bail after paying $ 50,000. Chris and Rihanna were about to give live performance on Grammy awards but had to skip their performance on the awards ceremony because of this incident. Finally, I want to conclude that Chris Brown’s actions were very immature and foolish actions. I lost respect on him because of this incident. I hope he changes his attitude towards women and give respect and take respect....

Can also read the same article in my other blog Click me

By Madhu Vamsi…

Subscribe to Its my life

Alice Munro won the prestigious award

Alice Munro a Canadian short story writer won the prestigious Man Booker International Prize. India started the championship with defending champions tag and it was easily going on for India in the league phase against Bangladesh and Ireland. Meanwhile Australia was surprised by West Indies in their opening match and then Sri Lanka knocked them out of the tournament. Australia was clearly not up to their 100%, what ever the reason might be.

Netherlands (Holland is other name) pulled up surprise win over England in the tournament opener match. After this match much was expected from Ireland and Scotland too. Suddenly Ireland pulled up an odd win against the struggling Bangladesh team. So, suddenly people started thinking that Holland will upset the Pakistan team in their next match. But Pakistan completely showed the world that Holland need to work a lot to be good team. Holland team needed was to score some 150 runs to get into Super 8 with help of better run-rate of that Pakistan. But Holland batting collapsed for just 93 runs while chasing a huge target of 176 to win and in the process they were not able to cross the 150 score as well. Scotland was having poor tournament and same was case for Bangladesh.

The teams finally qualified into Super 8 were India, Ireland, Pakistan, New Zealand, West Indies, South Africa, Sri Lanka and England. Australia was eliminated in the first round itself and it was big surprise of the tournament. In the Super 8 all the eight teams were divided into two groups. In the group E- India, South Africa, England and West Indies and in the group F- Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Ireland and New Zealand.

All a team need to get into Semi finals is to win 2 matches. India was not up to their peak form and team was wanting in many departments. India lost all the three matches in Super 8 and the Semi finals fight was between other 3 teams. South Africa won all their ties and the contest was between the West Indies and England. The match between England and West Indies had rain interruption at wrong time unfortunate and this interruption became a boom for West Indies. England gave a competitive score of 161 in their 20 overs but rain interruption brought the D/L method into play and score was revised. West Indies has to score some 82 runs in 9 over’s and this target was chased by West Indies successfully in 8.2 over’s. It was terrible bad luck for England in my view.

In the other group Sri Lanka just like South Africans won all the matches. New Zealand had a terrible batting performance against the Pakistan team and this is enough for them to knock out of their spot in semi finals. Ireland played well but their batting was very weak and they have no answers to play against spin of the opponent team’s. New Zealand was having lot of injury problems in their team and the batting was wanting against the match with Pakistan.

In the first semis, South Africa took the Pakistan and this match was very close. But South Africa has trouble in playing against good spin and Pakistan used their spinners very well and won the match and entered into Finals of ICC T20 World Cup for the second time. In the last edition of ICC T20 World Cup Pakistan were runners-up. The second semi final was one sided affair, West Indies batsmen fell like pack of cards while chasing pretty gettable target of 159. Here captain of the West Indies team Chris Gayle remained unbeaten on 63 (50) and his team was bundled out for some 101 runs in 17.4 over’s.

It was Pakistan Vs Sri Lanka finals on 21st at Lords. Sri Lanka won the toss and preferred to bat first and they were depending a lot on T Dilshan. This time it was not his day and he was dismissed for duck and soon 2 more wickets fell quickly. Sri Lanka was struggling 32/4 and all their good batsmen were out. Luckily Sri Lanka captain came to rescue and Sangakkara with Silva put a good partnership. In the end Mathews scored quick 35 (24) and take Sri Lanka score to 138. Sangakkara was unbeaten on 64 (52) and now it is up to Sri Lanka bowlers to do some miracles for them.

Pakistan batted very sensibly and reach the target in 18 over’s. Afridi batted sensible for his quick 52 and he was well supported by S Malik from other end. Pakistan won the ICC T20 World Cup in professional manner. Sri Lanka once again lost the finals and could not win the World Cup. Sri Lanka was the finalist in 50 over’s format in 2007 World Cup played in West Indies. Australia won when rain and bad light helped them to win against the Sri Lanka. But I appreciate Sri Lankan team for their gutsy performance. Sri Lanka was playing this major tournament after they were attacked by terrorists in Pakistan. Pakistan peaked up at the right time and they deserve this World Cup. Pakistan team was also having tough time because of the terrorist attack on Sri Lankan team in their backyard. No country was willing to tour their country and they were badly affected when franchisees of IPL have not allowed the Pakistani players to play the IPL. Pakistan played cricket like professional outfit even after so many off field events happened and won the World Cup against all the odds.

Dilshan was declared as the Man of the tournament and Afridi was given the man of the match. Some of young players who blossomed in this world cup are A Mathews, L Simmons, W Parnell, C White, P Ohja, David Warner, Ravindra Jadeja, Saeed Ajmal, M Aamer, I Udana and A Redmond. The above said players played well when they were given chance and proved their talent in them. It was bad tournament for India, Australia, England, New Zealand and Bangladesh.

Finally, this World Cup was dominated by spinners and the pitches were very sportive one. Both the batsmen and bowlers had got chance to show their skills. Friends, that's all for now and will come up with more soon..

By Madhu Vamsi... :)

Subscribe to Its my life

Funny Pictures Of Balakrishna

Hello friends, these are some of the funny pictures of Tollywood actor "Balakrishna". Fashions change frequently and buying the latest trends for each season may not be easy, even for the very rich. Whatever be the sport, women are always conscious of fashion about the latest styles and trends.

Women's Golf Clothes
The way to go about buying the right and cheap women's golf clothes is to be aware of what is the current fashion in the sport. Spend some time looking at brand names such as Nike, Adidas and Ashworth, which are popular and pricey labels. In case, you like to change your look regularly and feel that new clothes give confidence, then opt for the cheaper women's golf clothes.
Some cheaper brands do offer more options, colors and designs that the more traditional companies tend to steer clear of. For those who like to stand out from the crowd and like being more individualistic this can be the best choice, as they can find the perfect items at a much lower price.

The Best Mix to suit Budget
Sometimes you may like to display the grand brand labels and appear to be always wearing the finest. In that case the best option would be to mix and match, for e.g., expensive clothes with some cheaper golf apparel, or expensive apparel with cheaper outfits.

Golfing Gear:
This is the total one- stop-buy. If you are a beginner with no knowledge about what is needed then buying the complete gear is the best choice. Some options in bargain price are as follows:
Previously Owned Gear is a perfect choice to start for beginners or for someone who doesn't want to spend much on equipment. Last year’s equipment, that has hardly used, usually costs half the new one’s price. A number of websites like EBAY, Callaway Golf Pre-owned and GolfClubExchange.com offer such equipment.
End of Season sale in any major golf store. It can be online or a department store. Selecting the perfect time i.e. at the end the season, you can get the gear at year end sales of a company or a store, at a slightly lower prices. The best time to buy is just after Christmas and right before the beginning of the new season. At this time stores will offer huge discounts on all the equipment. This especially holds true for items like golf shoes and clothes.

Golf Shoes for Women
Online shopping facilities are also available for accredited brands. You will find great variety and large discounts. There would be no time constraint, as you will be shopping from home, and you can buy only after completely satisfying yourself. Some of the popular brands of ladies golf shoes are Nike Golf, FootJoy, Bite, Calloway Golf, Etonic and Ecco. These are durable and comfortable.
These shoes will be available in any local Footlocker outlet or any other specialty sporting goods store.
They are available in almost all women’s shoes sizes, like narrow and wide widths etc. They are available in the colors of red, black, brown and white. These are also available in a durable leather construction. Buying waterproof shoes is good option. But if they are not available then, applying water proof spray on the shoes makes them good for all kinds of weather.
Most branded shoes offer an air cushioned insole or another form of comfort fit. These are comfortable and limit moisture build up inside the shoe. The shoes also have spikes on them. Removable spiked shoes are also available and they have an easy clean design.

Golf Balls
Golf Balls can cost a fortune and are also easily lost. Some thinking while buying these is the best thing. Monogrammed balls are good choice for marking yours in the field.
You can mark your ball at home which is an inexpensive and simple alternative to buying pricey monogrammed or souvenir golf ball. With a permanent marker you can mark the top of each ball with your initials; or use a simple.

Golf Bags
These are to carry clubs, tees, markers, and an umbrella or towel. The two major things that you should consider while choosing a golf bag are
- the gears that you will put into the bag
- the way you will carry the bag
There are basically three kinds of golf bags
The staff bag or tour bags- They have enough storage space for 14 standard golf clubs and have rooms for other golf equipments. They are generally available in leather and other premium materials. They are relatively high priced. They are preferred by those who have cuddies to carry.
Travel or carry bags- They are smaller bags and can be carried personally. They come in varying forms, sizes, and are rather smaller than the other golf bags. They have room for limited number of golf clubs, other small accessories and a number of golf balls only.
They come in plastic, nylon and other lighter materials mostly. Carry bags with added features that may expand the ease of use are also available. They are equipped mostly with straps and others with stands.
Cart golf bags- These are relatively smaller than the tour bags. These bags are designed exactly to be used by golf carts and require cuddies. They have lesser pockets and are generally made of light materials.

Golf Clubs
These are available as- Cast Iron Golf Club and Forged Iron Golf Club. Club size changes to suit the player. These range from standard to midsize, and oversized.
Standard clubs have a smaller head and a smaller sweet spot. These are the usual choice for advanced players and professionals.

Apart from these there are other additional add-ons like the Golf Gloves for Women and some other accessories. All these can be bought at a one-stop-sport store or there are many popular online stores offering these at concession prices. Irrespective of the apparel either in branded apparel or in bargain buy, enjoying the game is the main criteria.

By Madhu Vamsi

Subscribe to Its my life

Interesting game show on TV

Hi friends, good evening and Bommarillu is interesting unique quiz contest which comes on Maa TV. This program started on June 2nd and will be telecast during prime time on a four-day-a-week schedule and it is a one hour program. This show is hosted my famous actress Suhasini and I am very much impressed with the way she talks with participants. This is first time Suhasini is seen on small screen and it’s her debut on TV.

In this game three families will get a chance to participate and only one team will get chance to take home all the items won. The other 2 families will also win different home necessities but will not get the chance to take home all the items won by them. The winner will win not only win the household items but also a wonderful house constructed by famous group Obili infrastructure and other sponsor is the Vodafone.

In the first round the team has to choose a room. The rooms are Kitchen, living room, bedroom, kid’s room and in each room some necessary item of that room is kept. For example, if the team selects kitchen then different items like Micro Owen, dinning table, etc which is related to kitchen will be shown and each item will have some price tag and costly item will have more points and the question will also be a bit tough to answer. So, after selecting the room the team has to select an item and question is asked and if the team answers correctly then they can select another item. In each room only two items can be selected and after that the team has to select the new room. In this way 4 rooms X 2items=8 questions, 8 items can win by a particular team. If the question is tough then the team can use flip the question option but only 2 flips are allowed in the game. In between the game if a team answers wrong answer then they will not get any item but a gift voucher will be given to them. If a team after winning 4 items and get a tough question then they can quit without answering and they will get only 2 items at the end of the show but not all the 4 items will be given to them. After correctly answering all the questions then the team will be given an option to get into next round, this option is very risky and many teams quit here. The option is the team can take all the 8 items with them and can win a home if a password is found correctly. Here the participant will be shown 1 to 9 numbers matrix and 6 questions are asked to eliminate each number and finally 4 numbers are left and participant have to decide a number and if that number matches with password then the door opens. The participant will get new home and the 8 expensive items as well. If the password doesn’t match than all the 8 items will be taken back and even the home will not be won also. That is why many participants don’t play this round and quits the game here.

So, friends if interested please tune to MAA TV and enjoy this show, I watch this show to test my general knowledge…

with love, Madhu Vamsi....

Subscribe to Its my life

Cool games in Ibibo

Hi friends, I am a Sawaal Expert in ibibo.com. Since from past few months, Ibibo is introducing interesting tools like games, Call4free, iMobile, iVideostar etc. Other then blogging, one can answer the Q&A, store pictures, give opinions, play games, search jobs, put polls & many more features. I found out games tool very interesting, a user can invite his friends with just a click away.

Some of the games which you can play are small games like Chess, Pacman, Sudoku, Lights Out, Hidden Away, Fruit Smash, Big Head Boy, Alchemy, 3D Maze, Get a Grip, Crazy Taxi & Mario, etc. The list is very long and if any one feeling bored then one can play these games. But to play these games one need to register with Ibibo.com.

The sad part is that then u wants to play game like chess (Multiplayer), no user will be found. For other games many user will be present for playing against them. Pacman is the best game where u doesn’t have to find another human player. Pacman is a flash game. See how many wonders we can do with Flash software.

One more problem is that user should have good broadband internet connection to play these games. If the internet connection is slow then u will see the nightmares. I used to have a Dial-up connection up to last year. In my area, no private service providers were there to provide internet connection. Bsnl dataone came like a boom to me in August 2007. I waited for this Dataone connection for 4 years... I thank god for saving me...

Subscribe to Its my life

Mother is key for childs future

Kumar was astonished when his life partner Sunita told him that she is going in for an abortion. On hearing this, he called up his parents and paternal grandparents to come to his aid immediately. All of them asked Sunita the reason behind her harsh decision. Then she asked Kumar to recollect his friend Jeevan's family situation and the Goa incident.

Upon questioning Kumar started narrating the happenings to his elders. Sometime back his friend Jeevan has invited them to dinner. When they reached his place, the sight there was very upsetting. Jeevan's six-month-old daughter was crying continuously and the maidservant who was supposed to look after the baby was oblivious of it as she was in a hurry to go home.

Sunita picked up the child and hugged the baby and within next few minutes moments the child fell asleep. They saw Jeevan coming out the kitchen and Ritu, Jeevan's wife had just come from office. They realized that the dinner preparations had just begun.

Both Jeevan and Ritu apologized profusely for the delay and went about making dinner. Though both of them were dead tired, they presented an ambience of warmth and affection, acting the perfect host.

On their way back home, Sunita voiced that Ritu should stop working and not leave her daughter with a careless servant. Though Kumar agreed with her, he pointed out Jeevan's financial constraints demanded even Ritu's monetary contribution to run the household.

On hearing this, Sunita suggested that Ritu, being an educated lady can take up tuitions at home and take care of the baby as well, until she attains school going age.

Kumar observed that this incident left a deep impact on Sunita.

Another incident that affected her was when they went to Simla on a holiday. Unexpectedly, Kumar's dad friend's family too was holidaying in Simla. They included the birthday celebrations of their one-year-old granddaughter in their holiday. They invited Sunita and Kumar to the cocktail party held at one of the expensive hotels in Simla. The party started at 8 P.M. by then the baby was fast asleep. The extravaganza and grandeur for a one-year-old birthday party...youngsters dancing away to glory till late midnight...and parents oblivious of their children's company...seeing all this, Sunita had apprehensions about the ambience surrounding children and how it will affect their future.

Kumar ended his narration at this juncture.

Upon hearing all this, Kumar's mother and grandmother touched Sunita's forehead gently and explained to her that she should not be so sensitive. They said, "My dear! As we live in a society, we cannot avoid social obligations. But we should safe guard our interests and our children's future. Experience will teach every one of us the nuances of life. A woman should be free from all tensions and fears during her pregnancy and should be healthy both physically and mentally."

Their soothing words gave comfort to Sunita and put her doubts to rest. She realized that a healthy mother with positive thoughts can face any kind of situation and bring up her child in the right manner.

This story reflects the importance and the significance of a mother's role in the upbringing of her child. The life of a human being consists of four stages - infancy, childhood, youth and old age.

The first two stages are spent under the guidance of the mother. When a child is born, it is immediately under the protective shade of its mother. A baby looks first at mother and the mother speaks with her baby through her affectionate and caring looks.

The child feels its first touch in mother's warm hug. The mother feeds milk taking care of her child's immediate needs.

When the child starts to speak, it's first words are, "ma..ma...amma." so a mother should be cautious of her language and her daily practices as they are observed by her child who is under her spring for most of the time.

When a child starts going to school, the mother should be aware of her kid's company at school, relations with the teacher and the ambience and the method of teaching. A good mother never forces her child to study beyond his/her capacity and thus she should orally impart fine knowledge to her child through her speech.

She cultivates in her child good habits by understanding his/her growing requirements and is a constant guide to her child in developing their preferences. She should take him to good movies and decent recreation centers right from the beginning so that the child doesn't move away towards the bad and the evil.

The third and the most important and deciding stage is youth. This stage is engulfed by temptations, distractions and illusions. So a mother should explain the importance of good health, good friends and the right judgement in the attraction to the opposite sex. She should be a good friend and an adviser to her child in all aspects.

The present youth has the comfort of hi-tech mobiles and cars and loads of pocket money. A guiding mother tells the child about the proper usage of these gadgets and the importance of spending the money in the right manner.

A working mother should strike a balance between her work and life and fulfill her duties at the right time of her child's growing phases. The child should never feel neglected and be a victim of loneliness.

I conclude with the observation that a mother, working and non-working should weave a healthy daily routine for her child, by practicing it herself as the child follows mother's footsteps. The day should start and end with prayers to God. She should teach her kid to develop respect and bhakti towards one's parents and love and harmony among the siblings right from childhood.

Last but not the least, a mother should imbibe the importance and influence of Sanskriti and Samskar in her child and thus justify her role as a "Role Model" to her child. Thus the child realizes life's moral values and ethics and the importance of a harmonious family and in turn become a good citizen.

Signing off with lots of love...

Subscribe to Its my life

Bravo to Proteas

Hi friends,

First of all Wish you all HAPPY NEW YEAR 2009.God bless you all and world live in peace.

2008 was the happy ending for South African cricket team. They have beaten Australian comprehensively, now the Aussies captain and team has no excuses to tell. Bravo to South African team, and learning the art of Test cricket beautifully. Three test series is now won by the South African team and need another win in the next test to become number one team. The next match is played in Sydney from January 3rd 2009 and unfortunately South Africa lost this match very narrowly. But the series was won by 2-1. This is the first time that Aussies were beaten by the South Africans in their own backyard. India too came beating the Aussies in early January 2008.

India was able to beat the Aussies in India and it was proud movement to Dhoni and his team. Kumble and Ganguly two ex-captains of India retired from cricket gracefully. Indian shooters, wrestlers and boxers were finally able to win its first more medals then ever in Beijing Olympics which was held in Beijing. This time Gold medal was won by Abhinav Bindra and his achievement made India proud nation. I hope all the other categories soon inspire and win more medals for India in near future.

The worst ending of 2008 was the terrorists attacking Mumbai’s top hotels like the Oberai and Taj. Many innocent lives were taken by the cruel terrorists. India government is planning to declare a war and hopefully it happens in 2009. I pray to god that without war, India can catch the terrorists. I hope Pakistan too shows the interest to wipe out the menace of terrorism. Finally, I am happy to be member of blogger.com and will come up with more interesting articles and reviews in coming days, that’s all for now. Come up with more soon. Have nice day.

Signing off with lots of love,
Madhu Vamsi...

Subscribe to Its my life

If I were not a...

If I were not a Human Being…….

I would like to be born as a Lotus Plant, on the soft and moist lake-bed. A symbol of purity and divinity, I would lead a short but meaningful life.

Breathing in the air from the waters of the lake, I would become an adult. Stretching from the depths of the lake-floor, reaching out for the sunlight, I would reach to the surface and bloom. As a sapling, I would have very little use, but as I grow so do my usefulness. Starting from my stem, reaching to my petals, each part of my body has some use.

My stem, can be cooked and is a delicacy for many. My leaves, are used for serving food. Here I compete with the plantain leaves, which are also used for serving food. However, my leaves are treated as a royalty, since they are difficult to obtain. My flowers, are treated as a symbol of divinity and sacredness. They are used for the worship of the God Almighty. What more would I want from my life? Being placed at the feet of the Almighty and reaching to that place is the ultimate goal of any life. I purify the waters in the lake and make them safe for my fellow water inhabitants.

This is how I would like my life to be, being useful. As a human, I would like my life to have some meaning. I would like my life and body to be useful to others whether I am alive or dead. So applying this, this is how I would want my life to be, even when I am not a human being.

With lots of love,

Madhu Vamsi....

Subscribe to Its my life

Low Calories cakes for Diabetes Part 2

Hi friends, I hope all are having good Diwali evening with their family and friends. So, it is festival time,so,thought of writing about a cake which has low calories and good for health.

VANILLA FROSTING:

2 egg whites, at room temperature
Cream of tartar (1/2-teaspoon)
Honey (1/4-cup)
vanilla extract (2 teaspoons)
1-cup instant nonfat dry milk powder

1. In a bowl, beat the egg whites until foamy. Add the cream of tartar and continue beating, adding the honey and vanilla.

2. Gradually add the nonfat dry milk powder, beating constantly, until the frosting is a good spreading consistency. It's not so hard to make a chocolate cake.

Carrot Cake:

This cake is favorite recipe of mine. If you don't like pecans, you can leave them out.

Ingredients:

4 eggs

1 1/4 cups vegetable oil

2 cups white sugar

2 teaspoons vanilla extract

2 cups all-purpose flour

2 teaspoons baking soda

2 teaspoons baking powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

2 teaspoons ground cinnamon

3 cups grated carrots

1 cup chopped pecans

1/2 cup butter, softened

8 ounces cream cheese, softened

4 cups confectioners' sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 cup chopped pecans

Steps:

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x13 inch pan.

In a big bowl, beat together eggs, oil, white sugar and 2 teaspoons vanilla. Mix in flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt and cinnamon. Stir in carrots. Fold in pecans. Pour into prepared pan.

Bake in the preheated oven for 40 to 50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean. Let cool in pan for 10 minutes, then turn out onto a wire rack and cool completely.

To Make Frosting:

In a medium bowl, combine butter, cream cheese, confectioners' sugar and 1 teaspoon vanilla. Beat until the mixture is smooth and creamy. Stir in chopped pecans. Frost the cooled cake.

So, that is all I have with me now. I will come up with more stuff like this.

With lots of love,

Madhu Vamsi..

Subscribe to Its my life

Low Calories cakes for Diabetes

Hi friends, I have read recently cakes with low sugar and calories are made. So, I found the below two cakes very interesting:

MARBLE CHEESECAKE:

The combination of rich taste and creamy texture makes cheesecake one of the most beloved of all.

Ingredients:

1/3 cup (85 g/3 oz) low fat honey graham crackers (6 whole crackers)

1/2 cup toasted wheat germ

1 tablespoon plus I cup sugar

2 tablespoon extra-light olive oil

560 ml (19 oz) (about 2 cups) silken tofu, well drained

450 g (1 lb) fat-free cream cheese

3 tablespoons flour

1 large egg plus 2 large egg whites

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/4 cup chocolate syrup

Steps:

Preheat the oven to 180 c (350 f)

Combine the graham crackers, wheat germ, and 1 tablespoon of the sugar in a food processor and process into fine crumbs. Add the oil and process until moistened. Press the mixture into the bottom and partway up the sides of a 23-cm (9-in.) springform pan. Bake until set, about 10 minutes.

Add the tofu, cream cheese, flour, egg and egg whites, vanilla, and the remaining 1 cup sugar to the food processor and process until smooth.

Measure 1 cup of the tofu mixture into a small bowl and stir in the chocolate syrup. Pour the remaining filling into the crust. Pour the chocolate mixture in a ring on top of the filling and swirl in with a knife. Bake for 45 minutes. Turn off the oven and leave the cheesecake undisturbed for 45 minutes. Cool to room temperature before chilling overnight.

Tip: Instead of sugar, use an equal amount of sugar substitute such as Splenda Granular to reduce calories even more.

Fruit and Cream filled Sponge Cakes:

Ingredients:

2 tablespoons all-fruit preserves.

1 cup strawberries, blue-berries, raspberries, or other fruit, washed, trimmed and sliced as necessary.

1/4 cup blended low-fat yogurt (same flavor as fruit).

1/4 cup reduced-fat or fat-free sour cream.

8 sponge cake cups

Steps:

Place the preserves in a small dish and microwave for 1 minute to soften. Stir together with the fruit in a medium bowl, coating evenly.

Stir together the yogurt and sour cream in a small bowl, Spoon 2 to 3 tablespoons into each cake cup and top with 2 to 4 tablespoons of the fruit.

Some of the above cake recipe might make your Christmas and New Year cheerful. So what are you waiting? Go ahead try to make the homemade cake.

So, what are you waiting for friends, I have already tried these cakes courtesy my mom. She and me both together made the above two cakes. My father is happy that he can again eat these delicious yummy cakes. So, go try out and enjoy friends...

With lots of love,
Madhu Vamsi...

Subscribe to Its my life

Australian squad without Symonds

Hi friends, Good morning to all of you. My love towards cricket is making me to write another post on cricket. Australia will tour India in the coming month that is October 2008 and they have to defend the Border Gavaskar Trophy but with young and inexperience team without Andrew Symonds.

I admire the way the Australian Cricket Board (now it is called "Cricket Australia") handle the affairs of Cricket in their country. What I like is no player is given more weightage in the team all are equally treated and performance is what is more important than the past glories or personal achievements of a individual player. This is the main reason why Aussies are able to produce great player’s continuously without any problem.

The domestic structure is awesome and players are keen to play more for their domestic team than to the national squad. Players never forget from where they came and respect their clubs and domestic team as well. There is separate players association which is setup by the former players and they are the members of this association and when any injustice happens to any player then this association will fight for the player against any body. If the player is found guilty of committing any mistake then the association will fight against that player as well.

When India last toured Australia under the captaincy of Anil Kumble, every one thought Australia will prepare some hostile pitches in their country to win the series against the Indians. But again the people’s prediction was made wrong and prepared some lovely sporting pitches for all the test matches.

It was unfortunate that umpiring was poor in this series and Australian team was criticized by their own media and people for not behaving properly on the field and the 2nd test played in Sydney, Jan 2008 was unfair match for the Indians. Harbhajan and Symonds incident was very poorly handled by the match referee. ICC should have come up with good pair of umpires insted of sticking with those old umpires.

Cricket Australia had punished Symonds for not showing full commitment towards the national team. Tell me how many countries will take much a bold step on famous player who is trump card for that team. This shows that no player is bigger than the game.

Symonds is still not coming out of that Harbhajan incident and he is not happy the way CA has handled the issue. But I personally feel Symonds too did not behave properly on the field, so, it was tit for tat matter, Harbhajan was punished for his bad language on field but ICC lifted the ban because other team too had misbehaved as well. ICC has not answer for the bad umpiring and so many controversies are coming out. So, ICC wanted to put an end to the controversies and get on with the game. In IPL too Harbhajan was punished for slapping Sreesanth. Harbhajan again escaped with small punishment but if he commits again then it is end of career for him.

Cricket Australia is giving chances to new players and I feel India should also try some new faces instead out of form players. BCCI is revolving around some set up players but frequent changing will not help the younger players to settle down. It is time for Sachin, Dravid, Ganguly and Laxman to show their batting aggression or else the series will be lost in the home.

This series will be covered by Neo Sports. I hope India come up with good performances and win back the Border Gavaskar Trophy which the Aussies won in their home 2-1. That’s all for now…More coming soon…signing off with love

Madhu Vamsi….

Subscribe to Its my life

Engineers are engineers.........

Engineers r engineers.........

7 Engineers and 7 Doctors are going from PUNE to Mumbai.
So they both gather at Pune Station.
Both groups are desperately trying to prove their superiority.

SCENE 1 (PUNE- MUMBAI) :
---------------------------------------------------
7 engineers take only 1 Ticket and 7 doctors buy all 7 tickets..
Doctors are desperately waiting for TC to come......
When TC arrives,
All 7 Engineers get in one toilet So when TC knocks , one hand come out with the ticket and the TC goes away....
----------------------------------------

NOW on return Journey All of them don't get a direct train to PUNE.So they all decide to take a Passenger till Lonavala, from there they can easily get a LOCAL to PUNE

SCENE 2 (MUMBAI - LONAVALA) :
-----------------------------------------------------------
Doctors decided, "this time we will prove that we too areequal"....All 7 Doctors take 1 Ticket.
