Finding way out

Arpita was sitting with her friends. They all were enjoying. Arpita sat on sofa happily. She sat near French window. She began to look out. She was watching nature carefully. She could see wonderful flowers on trees. On branches of tree there were flowers with enchanting colour. They looked so pleasant. She was happy that she decided to come out with her friends. She was staying in home for long time. She stopped doing out that much. She had family but they were not exactly attached to her. She was not married. She was spending her life in her style. But on other hand she was not. She always needed to do something which she preferred not to. She wanted to enjoy each day of life. Then suddenly she sensed her friend Priti was talking to her. Priti “So what is your plan of future?” She gave sad smile. “I want to plan many things but they always turned in wrong way.” “I don’t get it. You were planning to start one small hotel what happened to it?” “I was planning to. But when I started to discuss everyone around me started criticizing.” “But why did you listen to them?” “You don’t understand. I don’t have complete hold on anything.” “What do you mean?” “Well, everything I owned is on joint names.” “OH! But why don’t you & your siblings divide property?” “Because just I don’t have anything on my name! They have properties on their name.” Priti felt shocked but soon Priti controlled herself & said “It’s okay but still you can use your share to start some small hotel?” “No, I can’t. They said I am useless. I can’t able to run a hotel.” “But why? You are intelligent person.” “I don’t feel so. I don’t have much knowledge of world around me.” She needed to confess that she was inferior but Priti immediately rejected the idea. Priti “Nonsense you are smart & wise. They are just trying to keep you down under their thumb.” Arpita looked nervously towards Priti. She needed to feel positive but she was not feeling that way after listening to Priti. She knew that she didn’t know how to run hotel. Arpita “I don’t know how to run a hotel.” “Then they supposed to tell you. They needed to teach you. In this world no one came with knowledge.” Arpita knew all this but she also knew another thing. No one was going to teach her anything. She felt so nervous even at thought. She wanted to remain positive but still she knew it was impossible. She slowly asked Priti “Can you teach me?” Priti looked pale. “Sorry but I am just one manager of private company. I can help you to set loan if you want from bank but I can’t teach you how to run hotel.” Then Priti was called by another friend. Priti began to chat with that friend & Arpita was totally forgotten. Arpita felt so sad. She began to hate Priti. Priti just managed to upset her mood. If Priti was not planning to help Arpita, why did she discuss all this? Arpita was so angry. She started to look out from French window again with hope that nature could relax her.

Priti was chatting with another friend since she wanted to avoid Arpita. She was not planning to help her. Priti’s husband hated such a actions. Priti was told by her in-laws that she was not suppose to bring any of her friend in house. She must not help her friends. Her husband hated when she planned to help even little bit. Still due to her old habit Priti kept suggesting & advising. Priti regretted that she tried to advise Arpita. Priti knew that now Arpita would come after her. She looked towards Arpita. But she sensed that Arpita was looking out of window. Priti smiled happily. Then finally waitress brought bill. Priti looked towards bill but Arpita took bill in hand. Arpita immediately paid her bill & stood up to go. Clearly Arpita was upset. All friends sensed. They all began to look towards Priti. Arpita “I want to go home early. My maid is coming. I just got message.” Arpita showed mobile to prove herself true. But they all knew that Arpita was lying. Arpita always managed to find some excuse to go home early. Her friends smiled & said “Bye.” “We will inform time of next meeting in café on your mobile.” Arpita nodded. But Arpita was not certain that she wanted to meet them again. She was sitting alone near window. She knew that Priti tried to talk with her for some time. Still, she felt that it was meaningless. She wanted to feel relaxed but Priti managed to upset her. Arpita wanted to feel positive but she was feeling negative. She decided that she didn’t like this at all. Arpita smiled & nodded. But all knew that Arpita wouldn’t come again. They all wanted Arpita to come. Arpita never argued. She always shared bill. She never tried to avoid making payment. While Priti always created some excuses. Many times, Arpita needed to pay for Priti’s project in college. It was frustrating for others. One friend looked towards Priti & asked “What happened?” Priti smiled & said “Nothing. She had issues with her family.” “We are certain you suggested something.” “No, I don’t suggest anything. I just tried to calm her.” Priti stopped on that point & slowly began to pay her part of bill. Priti knew that today she needed to do it. Arpita was not there to help her. Priti felt so sad. Her life was moving in bad way. She needed explain but she didn’t. She knew that her friends wouldn’t understand.

Priti went back home. As soon as she entered, she heard voice of her mother-in-law. “Priti go & make some fruit juice for me.” Priti felt so frustrated. They had maids. Priti didn’t need to do it but her family always insisted that she needed to work daily. She knew that if she said a word against it. She would face lots of humiliation. She immediately ran towards kitchen. She started to search for fruits. Soon she found one watermelon. She started to cut it. Then she removed seeds properly before making juice. She wanted everything to be perfect. She was going to use juicer. She needed to make everything in right way. She wanted best taste in her juice. She began to do it carefully. It was so important for her. She managed to do it & came out. Then she placed that glass of juice before her mother-in-law & smiled. Her mother-in-law tasted it & nodded. Then she ran towards her room. Actually, she didn’t have just one room. She had two rooms. She had large place for herself. She knew that once she entered in her rooms no one would disturb her. She would get complete privacy but to get that privacy she needed to fulfil every demand of her every family member & she did it happily. She sat before TV peacefully. She was watching it happily. Then she took out some items from refrigerator, she took them on plate. Then she took out one beautiful glass with pleasant design. She poured juice she created in it. She placed them on her small dressing table. She smiled happily. Now she could relax & enjoy her life. She was on top of the world. She wanted this life. She looked around. Her room was nice & pleasant. She was so happy. She wanted to stay in it forever. Her mother-in-law was sitting in hall & feeling so frustrated. Her mother-in-law was upset with Priti. Priti was supposed get pregnant soon. But she was not getting pregnant. Her mother-in-law didn’t want her now. Her mother-in-law called her sister & started talking “I just wanted to get rid of Priti but she was doing everything I asked. She went out today. She came back. I asked for juice. She literally ran in kitchen & made excellent fruit juice.” “But you don’t need cook!” “I know I don’t need. I need a woman who can produce an heir. At beginning I was insisting on boy. Now I will adjust with girl too. But Priti is not getting pregnant only.” “You need to talk with your son.” “He is not interested that much in his wife.” “What?” “He always stays out of home. He just kept giving money.” “OH! Does he have someone else?” “I don’t know. If he has someone else, I should have liked it but he never declared anything.” Then they kept chatting. It was every day routine. Priti was inside room but she knew very well about it too. Still Priti never objected. She wanted to stay in that house. She needed to stay in that room. She just enjoyed staying there.

Priti’s husband was so irritated by everything. He already managed to find another woman. Now he just wanted to get rid of Priti but it was very difficult for him. Priti never asked anything to him. She gave him full freedom to do whatever he wanted. But now he wanted to marry that another woman. He came home on that day with determination. He called Priti loudly as soon as he entered in house. Priti shivered by his voice. But she ran out. Priti “Do you want anything?” “Yes. I wanted divorce.” Priti started crying loudly. Her crying was so odd. She couldn’t stop it. Every one started to try to calm her. But it was not working. Even her husband got scared. He was not expecting this. He began to call Doctor. Doctor recommended treatment in hospital. Priti was taken in hospital. After checking her doctor advised to admit her in psychiatric ward. Priti’s husband was not happy by this. He wanted divorce but since Priti proved unsound. He couldn’t get it easily. Priti’s family came. They all blamed her husband for torturing her. Finally, her husband admitted her in psychiatric ward. Priti’s treatment began. Slowly she started to feel much better. One day she finally got discharged. But she decided that she didn’t want to go back in that room. She called her husband & said “I will divorce you. Just give me enough money to buy hotel.” “No need. I own one hotel. I will shift it in your name.” Priti smiled & said “Great.” Then she went directly to Arpita’s house. She told her about hotel. Arpita was thrilled. So they decided to run that hotel together. They felt that it would be hard. It was hard but slowly they managed to settle down their business. Most importantly they were happy in their world. No one was there to taunt them on their losses & they could admire each other when they earned profits. They built one nice life together as best friends. They learnt to live life in their own way.

Finding wonderful life

Tanuja began to write on laptop. Her brother told her to create record of entire family details. She began to write them on laptop step by step. She was typing everything carefully. She was storing every sort of details in it. She knew that they didn’t have extraordinary wealth. They got just normal wealth. She was trying to think positively about all. But still she kept feeling negative. She was keeping balance sheet of her entire house. She needed to keep this in correct way. She was trying to manage all. She began to watch details. Soon she sensed that something was wrong. Her Dad was taking out too much amount. She didn’t know what was the cause. She decided to call her brother Pradip. But Pradip didn’t take her call. She was frustrated. She needed to continue. She kept doing her work. She didn’t understand how could they permitted this to happen for so many years. It was so upsetting. She could see in that balance sheet that she was saving hard her entire family was saving hard except her dad. Her dad was wasting his money. Then she sensed what her dad would say. Her dad would say he earn it so he would waste it. She was not planning to stop him. She knew that she could manage her life without it. She needed to write down every transaction on balance sheet. She could see that she still had enough money to live her life happily. So, she decided to just write down everything. After sometime Pradip called her back. Pradip immediately came to point “What do you want?” “I observe in this accounts that Dad is spending too much.” “It is his earning so don’t see his expenses. Just observe expenses of other family members.” She didn’t say anything for some time. So, she was supposed to just observe her own expenses & her mom’s expenses. Then she sensed that Pradip just wanted her to do this all work to show her how much she spent. “OH! Don’t worry. I will manage to do our budget.” “Great” Then Pradip disconnected all. She sensed that she just supposed to reduce her spending. She decided to forget this budgeting. She didn’t need to do this all to convince herself to reduce her spendings. She felt so sad. She wasted so many hours without cause. She returned to kitchen. Her Mom was busy in cooking tasty food. She decided that she might needed to help her mom. She smiled sweetly & asked “Mom, do you want me to cook something?” “No need. Just do what your brother told you to do.” “Mom it is useless. I did most of it. But when I completed brother just told me to reduce our expenses.” “OH! Then we can do that.” She wanted to argue but she didn’t since it was just useless.

Tanuja returned to her room. She immediately completed budgeting. She did it as fast as possible & informed Pradip that she had done it. Pradip “Great. Now you can know how to reduce your expenses.” “Yes. I will do that.” She felt so sad. She knew her dad was wasting so much money. She wasted some amount too. But her amount was nothing compared to amount wasted on her dad. Still, she was the one who needed to reduce her expenses. She agreed to do that. She slowly started to budget her things. She began to feel that it was better at least she was not wasting money. She began to find things which were cheaper. She needed to change all her branded items. But soon she began to feel this would be compromise with quality. It might impact her health. She began to remove unnecessary items. She just purchased those things which were needed. She started to feel so stressed by everything. She wanted to feel positive in her thoughts. She started to feel so happy when she reduced her budget. Then She called her mom. Her mom also started to reduce her budget. They both began to reduce their expenses. Tanuja began to feel so confident. She would live in her limited budget. She was feeling so happy. She managed to show that she was spending less. She began to feel certain that now her father & brother wouldn’t taunt her. She started to get nervous. She asked Mom “Are you certain that this will help?” “Of course. We reduce our budget so much!” She smiled. She waited for her dad with hope of admiration. She even cooked some tasty food. She was so happy about all. She prepared table the way her dad liked. They always did all to please him. They showed maximum respect to him. They knew that his earning was very important for their household. She understood perfectly that it was necessary to permit full freedom to her dad. She arranged all before time. Then she sat in her room with book. Their house was not big but she got small room. She was happy in it. She knew that many people were not so lucky. She looked around in her room. It was perfect. She knew that her dad might discuss budget. She would need to explain all. She must convince him that she was not wasting money then every thought would be fine. She smiled happily. She took out her canvas & began to paint. Her painting was her life. She tried hard to develop source of earning with it but sadly she couldn’t.

Tanuja was so involved in her painting that door bell managed to make her nervous. She sensed that her dad arrived. She hated that moment mostly. When she was child, he used to stay out of his way but now it was becoming more & harder for her. She slowly stood & went out. Her dad came in home. He sat on sofa. Her Mom came out. Mom brought some fruit juice for dad. Dad looked towards Mom & said “I don’t want juice. Give me tea or coffee.” “But you told me to prepare juice for you!” “I told you to bring coffee or tea?! Don’t you dare to question me! You must listen to me & do whatever I order. I don’t like when anyone answer back to me.” Tanuja knew very well that this just apply to her & mom whenever Pradip answered back Dad answer him nicely. She didn’t say anything. She just kept standing quietly in corner. She began to feel so frustrated. She needed to keep her positivity alive. Then her mom said “Tanuja drink this juice. Dad wants to drink some tea or coffee.” Tanuja nodded happily. She was able to take that glass of juice but on that point suddenly her dad took it. Her Dad drank it. Dad “I drank it today. I don’t want it to be wasted.” “But Tanuja was drinking it.” “That is wastage only. She doesn’t need juices to stay in house whole time. She is not working. Her earnings are equal to nothing.” She felt so sad. Her earning were not much still they were important for her. She began to feel so upset. She knew that if she ate anything it would be wrong. Her dad continued “& she is not also slim. Her weight keeps increasing.” She felt so nervous. She was so stressed. She felt that she would no longer want to eat anything. It took her few minutes & then she found herself opening refrigerator. She didn’t sense how fast she managed to reach to chocolates & began to remove wrappers. She started to eat them that sweetness was so pleasant on tongue. It was so nice. She began to feel as if it was reducing her stress. She started to think her tension would be gone. But still her mind was not happy. She sat on chair & she started to eat chocolates. Her Mom was so shocked. Her mom came running towards her & screamed “What are you doing? Don’t eat chocolates like that.” “But Mom, I need them. I feel so happy…” Mom took away remaining chocolates. Mom “Your weight is increasing. They are not healthy for you.” Tanuja looked towards mom. “I can’t stop mom.” She started crying. On that time for first time her mom sensed that her daughter need help. Mom wanted to say it clearly but she was too scared to say it before Tanuja’s dad. Mom decided one thing. Mom needed to do it on her own. Mom began to plan what would be help for her daughter. She needed to find help & Mom was planning to get it for her.

Tanuja’s mom called her one friend next day. Her Mom was certain that relatives were not going to help them. They all were too impressed by Tanuja’s dad. She decided to call her friend. Her friend knew all about their family. She chatted about normal things at beginning then slowly she told her friend & Tanuja’s issue. Her friend “I feel your daughter need psychiatrist. She is having mental issues due to your husband. If she keeps eating like that, issue would increase more & more.” Mom didn’t say anything for some time. Then Mom decided to do it. “Do you know any psychiatrist?” “Yes.” Then they discussed for some time. Mom took information about psychiatrist. Mom had some saved money. She decided that she would give Tanuja treatment. She took appointment. Then she told Tanuja to get ready. Tanuja didn’t question her. Tanuja just nodded. Tanuja got ready. Tanuja knew that something was wrong with her. She was not acting normal. She was feeling so stressed. She tried hard to think positively about everything but nothing was working. Tanuja didn’t ask any question. She decided to follow her mom’s order. She got ready when her mom told her to get ready. She didn’t feel need to ask where. She was little upset when she saw that it was psychiatrist. But she took her mind to that point where she didn’t feel anything. She just sat. When her mom took inside, she went. She decided to do as her mom said. She was thinking that she wouldn’t talk but when she began to talk with Psychiatrist. She slowly began to tell everything. She didn’t sense when she began to trust. Psychiatrist explained “Due to attitude of your father & brother you have depression which started to move towards eating disorder. It called Binge eating Disorder. You don’t need to worry after treatment your depression will be reduced & this Binge eating disorder would be gone too.” She smiled happily; first time she felt hopeful. After that she continued her treatment. Slowly she learnt to ignore her brother Pradip & her dad. She began to develop confidence. She took job as cook in one restaurant which belonged to her mom’s friend. Slowly her life began to turn in right way. She started to feel positive. She became a nice cook. She no longer cared about her dad’s opinion. She learnt to ignore him & she moved ahead in her life. She managed to reduce her weight too. Her life became wonderful for her which was most important for her. After sometime her treatment stopped but she always felt same confidence & positivity in herself.

Scared of mirror image

Ravi looked in mirror. His face was looking nice. He knew that he was not so handsome but still his face was so nice. He began to admire it. He loved watching his face sometimes. Whenever he looked at it, he began to feel strange obsession. He didn’t understand why. He kept looking towards his face with full attention. He was observing his face. He never understood that attitude. It might be about beauty. He always kept feeling that way. But when he looked towards his face in mirror, he felt as if he was someone different. He felt it just for moment then that feeling went away. He smiled at that thought. On that point his mobile rang. He immediately looked towards it. Tara was calling him. Tara was his friend from college. Actually, he liked her. He even proposed her. But they had not made it official yet. Tara said that they would declare only when he started earning & plan to marry her. She didn’t want announcement before that. Ravi knew that Tara was little bit shy & insecure about entire issue. He couldn’t blame her. Many times, such relations broke & it would cause lots of issues for people. He understood it. So, they always appeared like best friends. He took her call immediately. Tara “Where are you? We are going for movie with friends. I need to go inside soon. If you don’t come, I can’t sit next to you.” He felt so nervous. He wanted to sit beside her. He declared “I will come in 2 seconds.” He ran out of his house. He managed to lock door. Then he started to stop Cabs. He didn’t want to waste time in booking on since he saw one before him. He told address & sat in it. Finally, he was on way. He messaged Tara. Tara was clearly relaxed. He couldn’t see her but he could easily imagine it. He began to get so excited. His life was moving in different way. He was hoping positive in this thoughts. He had different sort of dreams which would open new way for his life. He began to create different hopes for future. Tara was included in his every hope. Ravi was so happy. Ravi needed to create different ambitions to please Tara. He needed to think about future in different ways. He was planning to earn lots of money. He wanted to buy one house. He knew that his parents had one house but still he didn’t like idea on depending on that house. He needed his own house & his own future. He was dreaming about different things. He was so happy that he didn’t sense when he reached to his destination. When Cab driver told him that they reached destination he sensed. He paid & ran towards multiplex. He was hoping that Tara would wait for him. But he soon sensed that Tara was not there. She had already gone inside. He felt so hurt. Movie was not started. There was 15 minutes to start still she went inside. She didn’t even message him. But then he convinced himself. It was unsafe for her to stand outside like that alone. He smiled & rushed inside multiplex.

Ravi went inside. He began to check his ticket. Soon he sensed that he got ticket in corner. He noticed on one side one boy from college was sitting. He knew that boy. He talked with him few times. He decided that he would enjoy his company. He started to searching for Tara. Soon he found out Tara was sitting beside her best friend but on other side was another boy. He knew that boy. He was family friend of Tara’s family. Ravi was assuming until now that he would become Tara’s friend one day. But today he sensed that it was possible Tara could choose another boy. Tara didn’t even search for him. She was giving shy smile to this boy while her best friend was pointedly suggesting her to get more friendly. He never understood why did Tara’s best friend wanted Tara to select this boy. Ravi was Tara’s friend for long time. He always talked sweetly with her best friend. But she hated him. He started to feel it long ago. She was convincing Tara that Tara needed to find another boy & Tara already managed to find one. He knew that their relationship was still uncertain. He decided to ignore her & began to talk with boy who was sitting beside him. Soon movie started he began to watch it. He started to enjoy it. Then that hero stood before mirror. Suddenly Ravi began to feel some cold air around him. He looked around. He felt as if there was some fog around him but there was not any fog. He looked his friend beside whom he was sitting. His friend was watching movie peacefully. He sensed that his friend was not feeling cold at all. He began to touch his forehead & started to check his temperature. He sensed that it was not hot. He was just fine. He once again began to look towards movie screen. That hero looked in mirror & suddenly hero’s reflection began to smile. Hero was not smiling. It was usual scene. But he started to feel so scared. He didn’t want to scream so he held his mouth with hand & when it became impossible to watch, he closed his eyes. He was so scared. He couldn’t sit there. He just decided to run to restroom. He slowly told his friend “I need to go to restroom.” His friend nodded. He ran towards gate. He opened door & went outside. He was literally shivering with fear. It seemed that he was going to have fever. He decided that he didn’t need to go back to multiplex. He went in restroom washed his face. He didn’t look in mirror. He just rushed out. He went out as soon as possible. He called one Cab. He came out of multiplex & waited for it. Finally, Cab came he sat in his booked Cab & took breath of relief.

Tara was watching movie happily. She felt that it was good lesson to Ravi for coming late. He supposed to come on time but he came late. So, she decided to sit with her best friend. But when another boy sat ahead of her, she felt nervous. She wanted to object but she didn’t since she knew that her best friend would ask her clearly if she felt scared due to Ravi. She didn’t want to tell anyone that Ravi was so dominating towards her. So, she sat there. She kept laughing & pretending that she was happy. When Ravi came & sat beside a boy, she didn’t look towards him. She wanted him to sense how did someone felt when get ignored. But she was shocked when Ravi rushed out in beginning of movie only. She thought that he would come back. During interval she would change seat with that boy. She once again began to watch movie. She was relaxed. She was feeling certain that he would come back. She soon got involved in movie. But when interval happened, she immediately stood up & rushed towards Ravi’s seat. Ravi was not there. That seat was empty. Boy who was sitting beside him said “He got some stomach issue so he left. I feel he had fever. He was shivering whole time.” She was so shocked. She didn’t expect anything like that. Ravi was always healthy or she didn’t have time to observe his sicknesses. She was preoccupied in her issues. She was so confused. She went out. Then she started to make call. Ravi took her call after long time. “Where are you?” “I am in doctor’s clinic.” “OH! You are so sick.” “Yes.” She felt so frustrated. Her entire day was spoiled due to his sickness. “I will watch movie & tell you story afterwards.” “Great idea!” Then he said slowly “I will take rest now. Bye.” She needed to disconnect call. She didn’t like the way he treated her. He didn’t want to talk with her. But then she remembered that he was shivering. He was sitting in Doctor’s clinic. It was natural. Ravi was waiting for his number. He was feeling so uneasy. He was literally shivering. One patient offered him seat in corner. He sat away from fan. He didn’t want to feel uneasy. He wanted to feel at least little bit normal but he was feeling so nervous. He kept looking towards Cabin in which Doctor was sitting. He didn’t understand what was happening to him. Those hours were worst hours of his life. He wanted to call his parents. But he knew that they would just blame him. His father didn’t like when he tried to take their help. He decided that he would visit Doctor & solve this issue. His father gave him this flat to stay since he supposed to handle all by himself. He knew somewhere in his heart he felt alone in his father’s house after death of his mom. His father never talked sweetly with him. Then his stepmom came in house. His step mom was negative but she was not exactly part of his life. She just kept away from him. His father kept screaming on him every time. He began to feel so humiliated that finally he decided to get college which was far away. His father was happy when he decided to shift. It was pleasant thing for his father. His father didn’t want his responsibility. His stepmom felt sadder that his father when he left home. His father was happy & declared clearly that he must not 00irritate him further. Luckily his father agreed to give some amount. He felt so happy about it.

Ravi was thinking about his past when his number came. He went inside; he was shivering. Doctor immediately started to check him. Doctor said slowly “You are totally fit physically. If you ask me what happened to you, I will say you are just scared. I like to know what happened around you!” Ravi felt so confused. “Why you felt so scared?” He had no option so he began to tell Doctor how did he began to feel his mirror image might change then he saw movie scene. He started to tell everything. Doctor slowly wrote down something on his prescription paper. Then Doctor gave it to him. He saw there was number on it. It was psychiatrist's number. Doctor “I can’t help you. You need psychiatrist.” Ravi felt so negative. He wanted to deny it but he knew that his mirror image was truly became scary. He took that number. He asked “When will I able to go?” “You can go today. I will arrange one appointment.” He nodded. Then he directly went to Psychiatrist’s clinic. He waited for his number. Finally, it came. He went inside. He told everything without hesitation. Psychiatrist listened him. Then Psychiatrist explained him about his mental problem. He listened carefully. According to Psychiatrist another personality was beginning to develop in it. It was due to his anger on his father. Psychiatrist said that he came on time. His treatment started from that day. From Next he began to concentrate on his studies & career. He was no longer interested in Tara. Tara felt hurt at beginning but she never felt need to come & convince him to keep their relationship. So after sometime it was broken. He didn’t mind. He was just glad that mirror image once again became normal. He was no longer scared of mirrors.

Changing cook

Pradip was working hard to get things in right way. He knew that he would get payment only if he did it in right way. He was so happy when last time he got payment. He even got some extra money for his hard work. Pradip was happy to get more money every time. He decided that he might needed to cook some extra pastries. Actually, he worked for one family. They had one daughter Sheetal. So, household had just three members. He supposed to take care of everything. He needed to clean & cook. He also washed pots & put clothes in washing machine. There were lots of jobs inside that house which he did throughout day. He was feeling so positive regarding getting good payment. This time he needed larger salary to send home. His wife wanted bigger house so with help of one relative he managed to find one land. He purchased it & now they were building nice house on it. He needed money for that. He was working hard to earn better. He needed to keep working. He was cooking pastries to please Sheetal Madam. Sheetal was college going girl. She loved sweets. She did have little bit weight issue but Pradip always convinced her that it was not some big matter. Pradip was favourite of Sheetal just due to it. Sheetal’s father kept taunting about her weight. Her mother diplomatically avoided subject. Pradip was only person who claimed that she was perfect in weight. Pradip kept telling Sheetal that in village slim girls were not considered beautiful at all. Pradip managed to make her so happy. She was feeling on top of the world just due to his positive attitude. Pradip arranged all & waiting for her. Doorbell rang; He immediately opened door. He looked outside. Sheetal was standing there with her friend. He didn’t know anything about this friend. He just smiled & said “Sheetal Didi who is this?” Sheetal suddenly gave him angry look. Sheetal “ Do you feel I need to introduce you to my every guest?” He didn’t say anything. He felt so hurt. Pradip said “I am sorry. I just want to ask you is she related to you? I mean if you have more guests then I will cook more.” Pradip smiled. He was trying his best to hide his emotions. Sheetal gave one angry look & said “No. She is my friend & she came with me from college. Go & cook something for us.” “What about pasties?” He asked happily. Sheetal “I don’t want pastries. I am dieting. But bring them for my friend & make some salad for me.” Pradip just heard about Salad but he never made. Pradip “I never cooked Salad.” “Idiot! Just cut vegetables & bring them.” Pradip nodded. But Sheetal’s friend started laughing. Sheetal’s friend “Salad needs cooking skill to make it healthy & tasty. We need to add some juice etc for taste. Your cook is just useless.” Then they went in room. He felt so sad.

Sheetal was so happy that she treated Pradip in insulting way. She began to look towards her friend Ragini. Ragini smiled sweetly. Ragini said slowly “Your cook is not someone special. He doesn’t even know how to cook salads. You are admiring him without cause.” Sheetal nodded. She began to sense that she needed to become practical. Until now she kept admiring Pradip when he was nothing but her one stupid servant. On that point Pradip came with pastries & he also brought some cut cucumbers, tomatoes & carrots. She looked towards them. He added some salt & some chat on them. Sheetal understood one thing. He didn’t know how to cook salad for her. He was not useful for her. Pradip served them & asked “Sheetal Didi all work is over can I go home?” He didn’t stay there whole day. He normally went away in evening. Sheetal nodded. Ragini “So he doesn’t cook dinner?” “No Madam I have already cooked it. I put it in Microwave…” Sheetal “No need to lecture my friend. Just go.” Pradip nodded & left. As soon he went out, Sheetal slowly started talking. Sheetal “Maybe I need to change cook?” “Yes. You need to change.” Ragini said it with confirmation. Sheetal “I will talk with my parents.” Then Sheetal called her mom & said “Mom Pradip can’t cook salads & arrogantly declared it before my friend. He is behaving in odd way.” “I don’t understand what did you mean?” “Mom he is looking too much towards that cupboard.” “I don’t understand...” “Mom I feel he wanted to steal. Let’s remove him.” Sheetal was tense. Her Mom might object. But her mom didn’t argue. Mom “Fine. I will talk to him. But you need to find new cook.” “It’s okay Mom. I will find one.” Sheetal didn’t have any plan about next cook but she knew that she could find one with help of Ragini. Her Mom agreed. Sheetal was happy. Pradip was traveling when Sheetal’s Mom called & told him that he was no longer needed. He asked clearly “What happened Madam?” “Sheetal need dietician to lose her weight & then she will need another cook who can cook food which suit her diet.” Pradip felt so sad. He needed to know anything about diet food. Pradip “Okay Madam. You can send me money. I will not come from tomorrow.” Pradip felt sad. Now he needed to find new job. He began to do inquiries. It was upsetting to not have a job. He called his wife & told all. His wife “We have this land. If you don’t find job you can come back.” “Yes, it will give me few days.” Then Pradip began to search for new jobs. He knew in his heart that it was hard to get new job but still he decided that he needed to try. He began to call his friends. He even called that lady who gave him first job. But all answered negatively. He stayed in his room for some days. But soon it began to feel as if giving rent was big burden. He decided to go back. When he began to plan to go back, he decided that he might needed to collect few things which he wanted to take with him in his home. He purchased all & he went back permanently. His life in city was over for him.

Sheetal was happy to get rid of Pradip. She was hoping that after entry of new cook her weight would start reducing. Pradip was basic cause of her fatness. She started searching for new cook. Soon she found one. She called that lady. This cook appeared so nice on mobile. It was just wonderful the way she wanted. Sheetal fixed timing of that cook. She called Ragini & told Ragini about that cook too. Ragini was also excited about all. Sheetal called that cook. On that time Ragini came too. They both liked appearance of that cook. But when that cook started to do cooking everything was changed. They sensed that cook didn’t have much skill in cooking. They didn’t want to accept it but Sheetal began to feel nervous. She was not expecting such a setback. Sheetal knew that now her parents would taste it & complaint. She began to get nervous. Ragini literally began to scream on that cook. Immediately that cook turned towards Sheetal & said “You called me. If you don’t want me, I will go.” She felt so nervous. Sheetal needed someone. Sheetal smiled & said “My friend was joking.” Then cook finished her cooking & left. Sheetal began to get so nervous. She had invited wrong cook. She needed cook so she kept that cook. She looked towards food. It was disgusting to taste. She kept trying hard to feel normal. But she was certain her parents would blame her. She didn’t say anything. Ragini just said “I am getting late & managed to escape.” Sheetal was standing alone with that food. She began to regret her decision to fire Pradip. She called him on that time for first time. Pradip was searching for job but he didn’t have money to get balance for his mobile so he didn’t able to take call. Sheetal kept trying unsuccessfully. Finally, her parents came home. Her Mom tried hard to adjust with food. Her dad just declared that he had eaten outside. She knew that it was not truth. Her dad was going to order food from some restaurant. She heard him telling her mom. “I can’t tolerate that food.” “It’s diet food. You need to adjust for our daughter.” “Don’t tell me nonsense. It is full of oil.” Mom suggested dad to calm down & they went in their bedroom. It was frustrating for them. Sheetal started crying. From that day she kept calling Pradip again & again. She didn’t sense how many times she was calling. Pradip didn’t able to pick up her call until he didn’t reach to village. But when he reached to village, he immediately took loan for handling his land. He wanted to concentrate just on land. He observed her calls & decided to ignore them. But his wife saw them & got angry. “Who is this?” “This is my last employee?” “She is calling you like mad woman. I feel she is in love with you.” He began to laugh. He said “She insulted me & throw me out of my job.” “Since she wanted to keep you away, she is totally in love with you.” He laughed. Pradip “I am not going back so no need to worry.” Pradip called Sheetal’s mom & told her that he was settled in village. He didn’t want job. Mom was shocked to learn Sheetal was calling this way. It was so upsetting. Mom came in Sheetal’s room & asked her about it. Sheetal began to scream that she wanted Pradip back at any cost. She began to cry. Her parents were so shocked. They decided to call Psychiatrist. Since they were certain that Sheetal would keep calling. They took away her mobile. Sheetal kept crying. Finally, they took for her appointment. Psychiatrist talked with her. Then Psychiatrist called her parent inside. “Sheetal is not in love with Pradip. She had just nervous break down due to her weight issue. She fired Pradip on suggestion of Ragini to reduce weight but it just increased due to new cook & that cook is taunting her while Pradip was supporting to her. But don’t worry we can handle it.” Then Sheetal’s counselling started. Sheetal began to feel better & positive. Slowly Sheetal started to lose weight too. Sheetal began to feel positive. She moved ahead in her life. While Pradip worked hard on his land he managed to built house to please his wife. He settled there. Sheetal tried hard but she never found nice cook like Pradip but she didn’t try to bring him back since she knew that he had left behind his career as cook. He was happy in his career of farmer.
