2013, a year with number 13

First, it is important to know that the number 13 symbolizes “transformation” in many spiritual traditions. In tarot, the book of 13 is “death”. Unfortunately, most people associate to this number the idea of bad luck, some, the idea of luck, but few people really understand the meaning of these transformation processes that we all go through.

Any transformation means letting die one structure (to be redefined, to be dissolved) and allow other structures to be created instead of the old ones. This "replacement" first leads to "death" of the old structures at psychic level, emotional level and mental level. The feeling that something in you dies is not easy. This is why most people choose not to transform certain aspects in themselves or in their lives.

Before that new thing to "install" and manifest, something old and useless must "die" and this first feeling is unbearable for many, even if they would like to have that something new, better and more beautiful.

It is important to understand this process, in order to understand the resistance to change, even if we get something better eventually.

We all deal these feelings, some of us being more courageous, others more fearful... the brave ones are the pioneers of planetary transformation and spiritual good which gradually appears.

Astrological background for entire year 2013

That process of profound transformation that I described at the beginning of last year continues, and it leads to a gradual redefinition of this world which we live in. There are two most important conjunctures which are maintained throughout the year, and one of them was "installed" last year.

Squaring Pluto - Uranus

This square was formed last year, resulting in an inside "strain" of the crowds related to free will. This square confronts us with a choice that is present since man and creation exists, but now it must become a conscious one. God gived us the free will, by definition, trough our human nature ... at the same time, there is a divine harmony that we may choose to integrate in, or rebel against it. We have the opportunity to war with divine harmony in order to follow ego’s "recommendations", seeing only the small image of our personal thoughts and ideas.

Also, we are able to try to alchemize these instinctive tendencies and seek after the big picture of the divine plan which our life is a part of, to seek to discover the big picture in which we live as human beings.

Uranus-Pluto square forces us to enhance the fight with our inner structures, those that obstructs us from seeing the big picture and the divine. It forces us and wakes the revolt in everyone to overcome our petty and insignificant existences, creating conditions to see something great and beyond ego’s the insignificant individuality.

It makes us wonder how much our existence contributes to the bigger picture and how could we integrate on the direct path to the divine plan. Obviously, free will allows us to resist and rebel against spiritual energies, sticking desperately on our perspective to the world.

It's like we were convinced that we stay still because we do not actually see that from another perspective we spin at breakneck speed around an axis, and from another perspective we move with all solar system within a more elaborate structure.

The choose till where we see (and especially feel) belongs to us, but this world won’t stop walking just because we have existential problems with the boss, family or money ... From this point of view we are irrelevant to this universe, and if we seek a purpose for our existence, it is necessary to seek another level where we look ...

Neptune goes in perfect conjunction with fixed star Fomalhaut

This star is known as the Renaissance star and Neptune resides in ideals, beliefs and unconditional love.

We see a rebirth of beliefs and ideals this year, a process that actually initiated lately, and now will increase strongly.

If we've been paying attention, in the last several years appeared, along with the internet age, the age of spiritual information, a lot of rages, systems of beliefs, ideals and spiritual techniques, some promise the enlightenment in a few hours, others invite you to asceticism, others the joy of life and self-love, and so on.

But most of the information relates to love, acceptance, tolerance, belief in a universal and beneficial superior force. Most documentaries have begun to open our eyes to truths deeper than we knew before, to information about us as a species and to the world we live in, which do not let us live our ignorance in which we were educated by now (unless, obviously, if we insist).

The purpose of this wave of information is exactly radically change our perspective, to help us transform the system of beliefs, ideals and possibilities to which we refer, aspects related to the energy of Neptune.

If we look around, we cannot see middle course any more ... those who have chosen a life of suffering and ignorance, have some of this in abundance, and those who have chosen a life full of optimism and happiness, attend the abundance of these issues.

Because of the huge amount of information, we can not hide and say that things are good as they are because there is no other option anyway. From now on everyone has access to information about what is possible in this world: miraculous healing, transformation techniques, spiritual laws, esoteric knowledge, etc., aspects that allow anyone to see both possibilities, and results that can be obtained.

It’s all about opening our being to something higher and accept ideals that we weren’t taught by this world, ideals of happiness, prosperity, joy of life and gratitude to God.

Neptune with Fomalhaut conjunction facilitates this revival if we are open to look into ourselves sublime and divine ideals, far beyond what we have learned that it is possible by ordinary and rational mind understanding.

December 12 is the maximum conjunction of Jupiter, Lilith and fixed star Aldebaran ... there is a fusion of energies related to the divine truths and those related to antispiritual energy of temptation. The result is a spiritual force for those seeking to truly understand divine truths and a day of overwhelming illusion for those who lack discernment and spiritual aspiration.

This energy of Aldebaran leads to extreme amplification of the great spiritual potential but also to the test that this situation brings. "Eye of God" as it is called Aldebaran is just over the spiritual/antispiritual amalgam that was created in this era, and the "finger of God", the yod which was formed up until this day shows the tip to this crucial point.

Saturn (karma, the transforming power of time) sextile Pluto (God's will and and the transforming power of death) forms a Yod (finger of God) with the Jupiter/Lilith conjunction, which is also in conjunction with the "Eye of God".

This configuration brings an adjournment of both divine will intervention and karmic connections in order to have a complete freedom to discern and decide the direction in which we go from this point on, using the individual will if we call these energies to help us ...

2012 explained: what’s happening and what can we do?

The purpose of this article is to clarify, or, at least, simplify the vision about the changes and cosmic events taking place in these times, but especially the effects that mankind feels now.

The information and opinions about 2012 abounds on the internet, in spiritual literature, and almost everywhere. Unfortunately, as any new major and unusual event, masses react in various ways, often not the most constructive ones: worry, panic, pessimism, and so on.

What is actually happening now, in 2012?

From a purely mathematical perspective, some cosmic cycles end now and simultaneously another starts. What really matters, in fact, is that these balance moments have certain meanings and certain effects that directly affects each of us, as we elaborate further.

For a better understanding of this close connection between cosmic cycles and us, I will ask you to aim to understand, or at least to imagine and then investigate the following:

1. Quantum physics is now beginning to discover what sages from different spiritual traditions claimed hundreds and thousands years ago: everything is energy, even matter, that is a particular form of energy, shall we say more "condensed" and automatically being subject to certain stricter laws. So, therefore, we interfere and we are vulnerable to various forms of energy, even we do not consciously perceive them and even though we cannot usually operate on them.

2. Electromagnetic energy is an example of all this energies. There even is a specific frequency within it that can be operated very easily on the human psyche. Our brain works on electrical impulses and radiates certain frequencies. So it is important to note that this energy, according to its modulation, has effects on our states and our thoughts.

Returning to cosmic cycles, "the balance moments" that I mentioned earlier are actually cyclic end/start moments on different paths of Earth, where certain energies, including the electromagnetic one, emanating from certain areas of the galaxy, are "aligned" with the earth energies in a special way.

Well, this whole issue of 2012 is about various effects on multiple levels that these alignments generate. Cycles that we are talking about, as we shall see, are pretty major and they really marked radical changes on Earth when they took place in the past. Unfortunately, even some history that remained about those events was hidden and turned inaccessible, as possible as it could, ahead of the large masses of human kind.

Attending to the perspective that the end of these cycles usually extinguished the civilizations that existed on Earth, somehow, the assertion that "the end of the world is coming" is founded. Unfortunately, this belief is generally viewed from an unfavorable and pessimistic point of view, or even an apocalyptic one. However, every end is an inevitable beginning for whatever follows, and, for example, the end of a self-destructive and degenerative world can be the beginning of a harmonious and all-prosperous one. This is about to happen, and it would be really useful to adopt this vision and contribute to its realization.

Let us return to the cosmic cycles. I'll attempt to briefly describe these cycles mechanism. An important aspect is that we are now at the end of two such cycles, first of them lasting about 25,920 years and called precessional cycle or axis precession, and another one, which takes about 216 million years and we will call it the Galactic cycle; during this period of 216 million years, the Solar System makes a full rotation around the center of our galaxy.

Our galaxy is crossed by a "band" where certain energies are more intense and more special than somewhere else. Thus, any star, including our Sun with its solar system passes through this band twice during one Galactic cycle, so, once in approximately 108 million years. One of the names of this band is "photon belt", and was discovered in the middle of the last century. I will not go further into details, but I will mention that the effects of this galactic "jump" are being felt over a much larger period than the precessional jump. This period began in 1950 and it will close permanently around 2100. It presents a maximum, which just started and will end around the year of 2035.

We now move to the precessional jump. This one happens more "often" beside the galactic one, every 25,920 years. Also, this cycle involves the alignment of the earth with some special energies. Famous Mayan calendar ending now, in 2012, is based on the precessional cycle. In fact, the winter solstice of 2012 is the demarcation between the present and the future precessional cycle. The energies will have their maximum intensity during three days around this moment, although the effects on a global scale started a while ago and will continue thereafter.

What is very special for the times when we live is that these two cycles overlap. This means that, even from the point of view of many incarnations through which we passed along, now we live something special, unique, and have the opportunity to progress in one life as much as normally it would take thousands of lives or even more. The fact that we are here means that we deserve it, and that we can move forward in our evolution as souls. It depends only on our free will, on the choices we make, and on what we put first in our lives. On a larger scale, we can consider this life and especially this time as an exam when, after years of study, we prove our ability to move forward, or our need to repeat experiences to teach our lessons.

What does this mean for Earth and humanity?

What are the effects of these jumps, and how this scenario affects us? Earth feels and reacts to all these new vibrations. Climate change in recent decades, for example, is more an effect of what we explained above, than the effect of global pollution. (This does not mean that pollution is insignificant or that it does not harm the planet!) It was observed, also in the last decades, that the volcanic and seismic activity grew. It is also possible that in the years to come, the planet poles to shift, which is not as bad as expected, but will not go unnoticed.

But the most important effects are those in the conscience of each of us. Those who will not align inside themselves with the new energies of peace and love will leave this world in one way or another. Earth will no longer support wickedness, wars, crimes and other destructive aspects. Earth alters itself and after this transition period will not accept low vibration, but literally it will become a paradise.

What do we need to do?

It is essential for us that during this period not to fall into the trap of panic and negative or apocalyptic beliefs of all kinds. It is essential to remember that the law of attraction or the law of resonance works just as well as before, especially now, so nothing can happen to us if we do not need it, or if we do not attract by our own thoughts.

What can we do, in short, is to clarify our minds better and better, in order to make the wisest choices, and bring as much peace in our hearts as we can to be more harmonious. In other words, let us all give our best and highest in us, and not to commit compromise actions against our soul.

We may also follow any purification method, both mental, emotional, and physical. If we follow a spiritual path, we should give as much time and attention as we can to the practice of various techniques in order to elevate our being. However, more important than the place and the context in which we live, are the choices we do, wherever we are.

Let us all follow the highest path of our soul and our mission.

Personal development is all about personal power. It is about “improving” your own being in order to achieve your goals more efficiently, eliminating your limiting structures, beliefs, fears and other stuff that is in the way.

Usually personal development programs and techniques are not aimed explicitly toward transcendence, basically what they teach you is how to get the most out of your being in different areas of your life.

The paradox is that just as on a spiritual path, the goal is to transcend your own limitations, transcend your current condition in order to achieve a higher state of existence. Obviously, this is not quite the statement, but it is the very same thing as “improve the quality of your life by removing your limiting beliefs”, or “learn how to earn more money by managing your time better” or other such goals.

What most human beings make as a mistake on both paths is ignoring completely the other part of the same evolutional formula.

Those on a spiritual path usually tend to ignore their human nature. They think that is they know the theory of bliss, they are already there, and many wake up after years of spiritual practice with all their limitations being still in the way, because they just simply ignored or repressed them, they never actually accepted their human nature and work on that structure as it is.

Others, who focus on personal development, forget that their actual goal is to become better and have more inner freedom, which is actually a quite spiritual goal. The majority is just developing themselves in order to achieve some physical, social and material goals, which they will surely obtain. Then they wake up that they are not fulfilled and do another course on some other improvement in their lives, not being aware that their need for growth does not have to have a physical motivation. It can be done just for the sake of discovering your own higher potential and then sharing it with the rest of the world.

This set of articles is coming as an elaborate explanation for the video on the first page, about the three concepts...

I observed how the vast majority of people are separated into two sides regarding spirituality and personal development. My experience after 17 years of yoga, meditation and personal development, over 8 years of experience in astrology, is that they are actually two elements of the same system, two aspects of the same need for evolution.

There are those who consider themselves as being on a spiritual path and other who are interested in personal development.

In this article, I’ll demonstrate shortly how actually everyone in these categories are actually in both of them, and how astrology connected the two aspects for me. I’ll put the descriptions and definitions very simplistic in order to simplify things and to avoid writing a book :).

Spirituality is searching for transcendence... transcending our human nature is a very deep desire and a spiritual “instinct” for every human being. The energy of desire, the need to do something are actually an impulse of this need, they are actually the need to transcend our actual condition.

The final and highest part is actually completely transcending our human limitations and become one with the infinite source of existence, but this state is theory for the majority of the aspirants, some being quite unrealistic about their position on the way. This spiritual search is oriented toward the complete transcendence of the limited perception about the world brought us by our dual mind.

Until the final revelation of our infinite nature, there is the mind and all the limitations that can bring us with its duality: joy, fear, happiness, sorrow, desire, freedom, judgment and all the list of what we call human emotions. We will keep coming back to experience those until the moment we manage to completely set our being free of these limiting structures.

So until this final realization some tools to manage our own human structure are really welcome.

Any spiritual exercise is actually a practice that is meant to develop some of our personal qualities that help us get closer to transcendence, one way or the other, no matter if they are meant to discipline the mind or to strengthen the body. They are after all exercises meant to develop our human skills needed to discover our divine nature. So until the actual experience of our transcendent nature we are practicing personal development even if we call it spiritual practice.
