The 5th Annual TASTE AWARDS in Hollywood on January 16th were a huge success! Many award winners, honorees, and nominees attended, as well as scores of Hollywood celebrities for the Red Carpet.

Selected Winners of TASTE AWARDS Announced

The TASTE AWARDS Committee and TasteTV are pleased to announce the Winners of this year's non-Viewers Choice categories for the 5th Annual TASTE AWARDS.

All Nominees and Winners were voted upon by the members of the Academy of Media Tastemakers. Honorees were selected by the TASTE AWARDS Committee. To view, go to www.TheTasteAwards.com.

In addition, Viewers Choice voting for selected categories continues through December 18. To vote, go to the site.

Selected Award Winners were announced in a private reception on December 2nd in San Francisco sponsored by Kikkoman, with wine by Vie Winery, snacks from Olli Salumeria and Harvest Snaps, and food by Artesano and Bluestem Brasserie.

All winners will receive their awards on January 16th, 2014 at a Red Carpet Hollywood Awards celebration at the Egyptian Theatre (limited tickets available). Lifetime Achievement Awards and other Special Awards will also be presented to valuable contributors to the industry. Nominees, Honorees, Winners, and Media partners are invited.

The TASTE AWARDS are the premier awards celebrating the year's best in Food, Fashion, and Lifestyle programs on Television, in Film, Online, and on Radio. TASTE AWARDS unveil new Medal Design

TasteTV and the TASTE AWARDS Committee are pleased to unveil the new design of the Winners Medals for the 4th Annual TASTE AWARDS.

The new 3D medal designs are based on the TASTE AWARDS logo, and are encircled by the statement: "Awarded in Recognition by the Academy of Media Tastemakers."

Each winning program will receive the new medal at the Red Carpet Gala in January. In addition, the traditional TASTE AWARDS trophy will continue to be given in select branded award categories.

Final Nominees will be announced on Nov. 2nd, and the Winners of the 4th Annual TASTE AWARDS will be announced via Livestream from San Francisco on Dec. 4th, followed by the glamorous TASTE AWARDS Red Carpet Gala on Jan. 17th at Vibiana Los Angeles.

Vibiana is a converted cathedral in downtown LA, popular for awards events, parties, and other entertainment industry activities.

Standard Submissions from July 17 - August 24

First Round Voting begins in September 2012.

Nominees will be announced in November 2012.

Nominations must be submitted by associated parties (fan nominations are no longer accepted, though fans can vote during the People's Choice Voting in November)

The biggest change this year is that instead of announcing the Winners at the January red carpet event in Hollywood, they will be announced them via livestream in December.

The red carpet event in Hollywood in January 2013 will now be a celebration of the winners, honorees, and nominees.

Food, Fashion, TV, Radio and Web celebrities gathered on Thursday, January 12th at the historic Egyptian Theatre in Hollywood to celebrate the 3rd Annual TASTE AWARDS.

The event featured an exciting lineup of celebrity presenters including the Food Network's Carrie McCully, Tanya Holland, Manouschka Guerrier, and Candice Kumai, Bravo TV's Fabio Viviani, Nyesha Arrington, and Danielle Keene, Public Television's Joanne Weir and Nathan Lyon, ION TV's Michelle Harris, food broadcast gurus Bobby Bognar, Zuzy Martin Lynch, and Susan Irby, plus food and drink humorists Zane Lamprey and Jolene Sugarbaker.

Special Achievement Honoree Awards presented during the evening went to Kung Fu Panda 2 (The Seiji Horibuchi Award for Outstanding Animation) and Debi Mazar (Outstanding Passion). Mad Fashion (Bravo), Kaitlyn's Beauty Journal (KTSF), and Nail Files (TV Guide) were given the Breakout Fashionistas of the Year Award, and Cuisine Culture (Public Television), Ludo Bites America (Sundance Channel), and Restaurant Impossible (Food Network) were given the Kikkoman Award for Breakout Foodies of the Year.

Public Television series "Check Please, Bay Area" picked up Best City or Regional Program, and "Mexico - One Plate at a Time" received the award for Best Ethnic Program.
