Today, getting your image immortalized comes easy with today’s technology. With digital cameras, computers and digital printers, you will be able to create a great portrait of the photos you take. The history of Russian art reflects the turbulent history of the country and its geographical position between East and West. “Caminho das Artes” em Santo Antônio do Pinhal reúne vários artistas com ateliês abertos ao público

A cidade de Santo Antônio do Pinhal, oferece várias atrações aos turistas. Para quem gosta de artesanato de qualidade, o “Caminho das Artes” é imperdível. Este roteiro turístico foi elaborado pelos próprios artistas que vivem na cidade com o objetivo de divulgar a arte local.

Encravada no alto da Serra da Mantiqueira, Santo Antônio do Pinhal é uma típica cidade do interior, tranquila e hospitaleira. Não é por acaso que vários artistas renomados resolveram se instalar na cidade com seus ateliês.

No “Caminho das Artes” os artistas facilitam o acesso as suas obras abrindo os ateliês a visitação. O turista pode comprar ou encomendar peças exclusivas em cerâmica, joias, móveis, arte em madeira e tecido, além de velas, produtos de banho, chás e temperos.

Os artistas

Deste roteiro turístico faz parte o artista Leonardo Bueno (www.leonardobueno.com) que transforma madeira descartada como resíduo em incríveis peças de arte e design. Leonardo já participou de exposições no mundo inteiro, como Viena, Paris, Budapeste, Londres, Milão e Madri.

O ateliê de Morito Ebine (www.moritoebine.com) também está no roteiro. Ele é mestre na confecção de móveis de encaixe e segue as técnicas da tradicional marcenaria japonesa. As peças são muito criativas e duráveis.

Outro artista, André Marx (www.andremarx.com.br), utiliza também a madeira como matéria prima, tem um estilo próprio e seus móveis são confeccionados em madeiras amazônicas, provenientes de manejo sustentável ou demolição.

Gravetos, sementes, bambu, restos da construção civil ganham formas belíssimas nas mãos de Eduardo que foi premiado no Japão, Itália e Noruega.

Já quem procura peças em cerâmica deve visitar neste roteiro o Jardins de Barro Cerâmica (www.jardinsdebarro.com.br). A paulista Nancy Barros transformou a chácara de final de semana na sua casa definitiva em Santo Antônio do Pinhal. Lá também montou o ateliê onde trabalha com criações exclusivas, produzidas uma a uma e queimadas em alta temperatura. A artista Sylvia Garner também desenvolve peças exclusivas de cerâmica de alta temperatura para cozinha e decoração, e joias em prata. Ela aceita encomendas.

A Cerâmica Dejulis também faz parte do Caminho das Artes. O artista Dejulis utiliza uma milenar técnica japonesa, conhecida como Raku, dando as peças uma esmaltação bem diferenciada.

No “Caminho das Artes” o turista ainda encontra a Phamarcia de Quintal com produtos elaborados artesanalmente com ervas e flores; a Casa da Mata que, literalmente, fica no meio da mata e vende shiitake e outros produtos artesanais como chutneys, geleias e antepastos; a História em Retalhos com trabalhos em patchwork; a Arte Madeira & Memória, onde peças e móveis antigos são restaurados e transformados; a Fazenda Renópolis (www.renopolis.com.br) que, além de vender produtos artesanais feitos com material da fazenda, como palha de milho e sementes, tem uma casa de chá onde o turista pode escolher entre mais de 40 tipos para acompanhar os bolos e tortas vendidos por lá. Já a Prata d`lua vende peças produzidas em prata, cobre e latão com pedras semipreciosas. Todas com design exclusivo.

E, finalmente, quem aprecia velas não pode deixar de passar na Oficina das Artes Santo Antonio do Pinhal. Lá o turista vai encontrar velas e luminárias artesanais produzidas com madeira, bambu e flores secas.

Chico Anysio is honored by cartoonists in Sao Paulo

The actor, writer and humorist Anysio Chico, who died last March 23, will be honored with the art show Flash Anysio Chico Expo, which begins today, from 10am, in an event hall Shopping SP Market in Sao Paulo / SP.

O ator, escritor e humorista Chico Anysio, falecido no último dia 23 de março, será homenageado com a mostra de arte Flash Expo Chico Anysio, que começa hoje, a partir das 10h, na praça de eventos do Shopping SP Market, em São Paulo/SP.

Na mesma década, foi protagonista da HQ especial Era Xixo um astronauta?, da editora Harpam, e viu seu personagem futebolista estrelar Coalhada na Copa, gibi lançado pela RGE às vésperas da Copa do Mundo de 1978.
Os quadrinhos Disney também homenagearam o humorista em uma história do Zé Carioca desenhada por Renato Canini, ainda nos anos 1970.

Londrina will host the Craft Design

The Symposium and Exhibition of Crafts and Design I Design International Crafts Fair will be held on the premises of the London Country Club, with the opening on May 31, at 14h. The promotion is from Artest, nonprofit organization based in London, with the goal of providing technical training and entrepreneurial artisans to market products with a strong Brazilian identity. Pela primeira vez Londrina recebe um evento voltado ao negócio do artesanato com design, sediando debates, trazendo os principais expositores e atraindo público altamente qualificado. O Simpósio e Salão do Artesanato Design e I Feira Internacional do Artesanato Design serão realizados nas dependências do Londrina Country Club, com a abertura no dia 31 de maio, às 14h. É o principal evento do setor e tem o patrocínio do Sebrae.
A promoção é da Artest, organização sem fins lucrativos sediada em Londrina, com o objetivo de oferecer capacitação técnica e empresarial aos artesãos para comercialização de produtos com forte identidade brasileira. Além disso, a Artest oferece logística da comercialização dos produtos, prospectando mercados para o novo artesanato brasileiro.
“A intenção é realizar um evento diferenciado com foco no artesanato com design. SPTuris participate in the Design Week in Milan (Italy)

Artisans from Paraíba participate in international fair in Brasilia

The famous renaissance lace, and work in the maze, embroidery, patchwork, pottery, toys and paper mache, will be exposed for 358 artisans from 12 cities in Paraíba at the 6th International Fair of Craft (Finnar) to be held 13-22 this month in Brasilia. The Craft of Paraiba Program (PAP) will enable the participation of local artisans, whose creativity will share space with other 25 countries in the ten-day event.

According to the coordinator of the PAP, Ladjane Barbosa, the unique crafts and were prioritized for the fair. "The public admires brasiliense which is done by hand, so we focus on this type of art for Finnar. They value our work, so we have good sales expectations," he said.

The theme of this edition of the fair is "The World in Patchwork" and artisans who work with this type of manual art will compete for prizes. The contest will award the top three panels in patchwork, with free spaces for artisans to exhibit at next Finnar in 2013.

The PAP is coordinated by the First Lady of the State, Pamela Borio, and is linked to the Secretary of State for Tourism and Economic Development (Setde). Currently, the program serves more than 5,800 artisans, supporting the dissemination, exploitation and creating business opportunities.

A famosa renda renascença, além de trabalhos em labirinto, bordado, patchwork, cerâmica, brinquedo e papel machê, serão expostos por 358 artesãos de 12 cidades paraibanas na 6ª Feira Internacional de Negócios do Artesanato (Finnar), que se realizará de 13 a 22 deste mês, em Brasília. O Programa de Artesanato da Paraíba (PAP) viabilizará a participação dos artesãos locais, cuja criatividade dividirá espaços com outros de 25 países, nos dez dias de evento.

Segundo a coordenadora do PAP, Ladjane Barbosa, os trabalhos manuais e exclusivos foram priorizados para a feira. "O público brasiliense admira muito o que é feito à mão, por isso focamos neste tipo de arte para a Finnar. Eles valorizam o nosso trabalho, por isso temos boas expectativas de vendas", disse.

O tema desta edição da feira é "O Mundo em Patchwork", e os artesãos que trabalham com esse tipo de arte manual vão concorrer a prêmios. O concurso vai premiar os três melhores painéis em patchwork, com espaços gratuitos para que os artesãos possam expor na próxima Finnar, em 2013.

O PAP é coordenado pela primeira-dama do Estado, Pâmela Bório, e está vinculado à Secretaria de Estado do Turismo e do Desenvolvimento Econômico (Setde). Atualmente, o programa atende mais de 5,8 mil artesãos, dando suporte na divulgação, valorização e criando oportunidades de negócios.

Project encourages production of "jewels of the forest"

Santa Catarina dá exemplo na comercialização de seu artesanato!

Brasília - A partir deste mês, peças artesanais produzidas em Santa Catarina serão vendidas dentro de um contêiner marítimo. Ele funcionará como loja customizada, de forma itinerante, nas praças de Florianópolis.
A iniciativa é promovida pelo Sebrae em Santa Catarina para incentivar a venda do artesanato local. Também se destaca o “Aroma, Sabor & Arte”, festival realizado anualmente no principal shopping da cidade entre os meses de janeiro e fevereiro – período de alta estação no turismo. As duas ações integram o programa Arte Catarina, que busca fortalecer artesanato no estado.

Os projetos foram apresentados no Encontro Nacional da Carteira de Artesanato do Sebrae, em Brasília. O evento integra a programação do Encontro Nacional de Inclusão Produtiva, promovido pela instituição.
Para o coordenador do Aroma, Sabor & Arte, Jefferson Bueno, o festival, que começou há cerca de cinco anos, é um sucesso. “Em 2008, quando o projeto teve início, vendemos R$ 120 mil. Em 2012, foram R$ 396 mil”, citou. O Aroma, Sabor & Arte já faturou cerca de R$ 2 milhões em vendas, que vão de peças decorativas a doces artesanais. Segundo Bueno, a ação atende cerca de 800 profissionais e já existem artigos sendo vendidos a grandes compradores.
Segundo o coordenador do Núcleo de Comércio e Serviços do Sebrae em Santa Catarina, Wilson Sanches, para participar dos projetos as peças artesanais passam por uma curadoria. O objetivo é verificar se elas se encontram dentro dos padrões exigidos pela instituição, como preço adequado, qualidade e sustentabilidade. “O artesão que não consegue atender os requisitos recebe qualificação”, informa.

Encontro debate oportunidades para artesanato brasileiro

Brasília - O artesanato brasileiro precisa se preparar para aproveitar as oportunidades que serão geradas por grandes eventos internacionais, como a Copa do Mundo de 2014 e as Olimpíadas de 2016. O alerta foi feito pelo diretor-técnico do Sebrae, Carlos Alberto dos Santos, nesta terça-feira (3), no Encontro Nacional da Carteira do Artesanato, em Brasília. O evento integra a programação do Encontro Nacional de Inclusão Produtiva, promovido pela instituição.

“Estamos diante de uma oportunidade única de colocar, definitivamente, o artesanato brasileiro em destaque no mercado”, disse Carlos Alberto. Segundo ele, para vencer o desafio da comercialização também é preciso melhorar vários pontos, como processo produtivo, design e inovação. Atualmente, a Carteira de Artesanato do Sebrae conta com 63 projetos, mais de 4,1 mil micro e pequenas empresas (MPE) e 9,7 mil artesãos.

No encontro desta terça-feira, o gerente de Atendimento Coletivo na área de Comércio do Sebrae, Juarez de Paula, apresentou estratégias que estão sendo desenvolvidas “para reposicionar o artesanato no mercado e ampliar a comercialização desses produtos”. Entre elas, ele citou a realização do projeto ExpoArt, que promove showrooms de artesanato nas cidades que vão sediar os mundiais. Segundo ele, também será dada mais visibilidade aos vencedores do Prêmio Sebrae Top 100 de Artesanato, que reconhece e valoriza as unidades produtivas mais competitivas no país.

Juarez de Paula anunciou, para o início de 2014, a conclusão do processo de instalação do Centro de Referência do Artesanato Brasileiro (Crab). Parte desse centro já funciona no Rio de Janeiro. A estrutura terá espaços destinados a diversas atividades, como exposição de artesanato, comercialização de peças artesanais e capacitação de empreendedores. Também abrigará um centro de lazer, incentivando a disseminação de informações sobre o setor.

Ainda segundo o gerente do Sebrae, até outubro deste ano será realizada uma pesquisa para diagnosticar o tamanho do mercado de artesanato no Brasil. “Não existe no país uma pesquisa atualizada sobre o setor e conhecê-lo melhor permitirá ajustes e reforços nas ações do Sebrae”, explicou. Para 2012, segundo Juarez de Paula, também está previsto o projeto Inovart, que tem como objetivo incentivar o design e a inovação no artesanato. “O Brasil estará no centro das atenções internacionais por um longo período. É o momento ideal para fazer grandes investimentos na promoção comercial do artesanato”, lembrou o gerente do Sebrae.

Rodada de artesanato reúne compradores de cinco estados

mpresários de São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Paraná, Alagoas e do Rio Grande do Sul participaram nesta terça-feira, 3 de abril, da rodada de negócios de artesanato organizada pelo Sebrae. O evento aconteceu na Fundação de Cultura do MS, em Campo Grande. Eram 19 artesãos sul-mato-grossenses que negociando com 14 possíveis compradores. Ao todo, 266 reuniões de negócios foram agendadas.
Bolsas com araras, tucanos e tuiuiús estampados, bijuterias desenvolvidas a partir de osso, plantas e sementes do cerrado, objetos decorativos como mandalas, esculturas de animais pantaneiros, pinturas inspiradas na tradição indígena e inúmeras opções do artesanato regional estavam presentes na negociação.
Para a gestora de artesanato do Sebrae, Anna Karolina Monteiro, as rodadas permitem levar o produto local para outros estados, ampliam a venda e o faturamento das empresas e preparam melhor os artesãos para as necessidades de mercado. “Lançamos em março o projeto Expoart para trabalhar o artesanato com aspectos mercadológicos e regionais, isso porque estamos vislumbrando as possibilidades de vendas com megaeventos esportivos”.
Capacitar o artesão sul-mato-grossense para que possam comercializar seus produtos em showrooms, que serão criados nas cidades-sedes da Copa do Mundo de 2014 é uma das propostas do projeto. De acordo com o Departamento de Turismo da África do Sul, a atividade mais realizada pelos turistas na Copa de 2010 foi fazer compras. 96% deles adquiriram algum produto no país e 34% tiveram interesse pela cultura local.
Para a técnica do Sebrae, Anna Karolina, esses dados destacam a importância de fomentar a identidade regional do artesanato sul-mato-grossense e agregar valor aos produtos.

Em cerimônia realizada neste domingo, 1º de abril, na aldeia Santa Izabel do Morro na Ilha do Bananal, foi entregue às mulheres ceramistas da nação Karajá, o certificado de Patrimônio Cultural do Brasil pela boneca “Rtxoco”, arte desenvolvida por elas.
Participaram da cerimônia, a secretária de Estado da Cultura, Kátia Rocha, a presidente da Fapt – Fundação de Amparo à Pesquisa do Tocantins, Andrea Stival, e os secretários de Estado da Agricultura e da Educação, respectivamente Jaime Café e Danilo de Melo que, na ocasião, representava o governador Siqueira Campos, e representantes do Iphan – Instituto do Patrimônio Histórico e Artístico Nacional do Tocantins, Goiás e Brasília.
Na oportunidade, a secretária Kátia Rocha falou sobre o empenho do Governo do Estado, através da transversalidade nas Secretarias, de levar o desenvolvimento às comunidades indígenas, apoiando, preservando e divulgando seus hábitos e costumes e possibilitando o acesso às oportunidades, principalmente aos mais jovens. O Secretário da Agricultura, Jaime Café, falou dos projetos que serão desenvolvidos nas comunidades indígenas com vistas a levar novas tecnologias na agricultura, que garantam boa produtividade com sustentabilidade e assim, a subsistência digna das comunidades.
O secretário Danilo de Melo, por sua vez, transmitiu aos indígenas a mensagem do Governador Siqueira Campos, que determinou, entre outras medidas, que sejam trocados todo o mobiliário e os utensílios das escolas nas comunidades indígenas, a construção de quadra coberta poliesportiva e de espaço para atividades culturais e ainda que sejam realizadas, a cada dez dias, reuniões com o Conselho de Educação Indígena, para definição e acompanhamento das ações do Governo pelas comunidades. Danilo garantiu também que as reivindicações feitas pela presidente da Associação das Mulheres Iny (Inã) Lenimar Werreria em seu discurso, de inclusão dos jovens indígenas nos projetos e programas da Secretaria da Educação e de outras secretarias nos quais eles ainda não estariam inclusos, serão atendidas.
Além dos líderes que discursaram no evento, diversas lideranças representando outras aldeias marcaram presença, entre elas o cacique Ixanduedu Karajá e o seu vice Wenona karajá, o coordenador técnico local da Funai – Fundação Nacional do Índio e líder comunitário pastor João Werreria, o vereador e cacique da aldeia Wataú Iwraro Karajá, o líder comunitário Idjarrina Karajá, o cacique Paulo Krumari Karajá da aldeia JK e o líder comunitário da aldeia Fontoura Daniel Coxini .
A coordenadora de Cultura Indígena da Secretaria da Cultura Narúbia Iny (Inã), que acompanhou a secretária Kátia Rocha, também discursou no evento, falando sobre o momento “tão significativo, que representa o reconhecimento da cultura indígena e do trabalho das mulheres Iny, cuja produção da boneca Ritxoco fortalece a identidade cultural do seu povo”, disse a coordenadora. A boneca Ritxoco será tema de uma exposição que a Secretaria da Cultura promove no próximo dia 19, no hall do auditório do Palácio Araguaia, em Palmas, como parte da programação de comemoração do dia do índio.

Returning to SF’s Premiere Event Location - The Festival Pavilion at Fort Mason

The San Francisco Fine Art Fair (SFFAF) returns for a third year in 2012 as one of the highlights in the Bay Area for contemporary art. III Prêmio Diário Contemporâneo abre exposição

Foram quase 300 inscrições vindas de 18 Estados e de mais de 40 cidades do país. A mostra Prêmio Diário Contemporâneo de Fotografia, lançado em 2010, chega à sua terceira edição consolidando-se como um grande painel da nova fotografia brasileira. A abertura, reunindo obras de três artistas premiados e mais 20 selecionados, ocorre hoje, a partir das 19h, na Casa das Onze Janelas. Amanhã será aberta a exposição “Para ter de onde se ir”, do artista convidado Miguel Chikaoka, no Museu da UFPA.

O Prêmio Memórias da Imagem, tema que norteia o salão este ano, ficou com o Coletivo Garapa, de São Paulo. A fotógrafa paulista Ilana Lichtenstein foi contemplada com o Prêmio Diário Contemporâneo e o paraense Lucas Gouvêa arrebatou o Prêmio Diário do Pará. Eles estarão presentes na cerimônia de abertura, quando receberão prêmios no valor de R$10 mil, cada. Além da mostra, o evento traz ainda uma extensa programação de palestras e oficinas que têm como objetivo discutir a fotografia contemporânea no país.

“A fotografia contemporânea pode ser tudo que o artista considerar como tal para o seu uso: e não só diferentes suportes de movimento, volume e etc., como também o próprio conteúdo gerado pela fotografia ‘moderna’ ou ‘clássica’, que pode ser absorvido e vivificado mais uma vez. São camadas que se misturam, somam, não esmagam uma à outra”, diz Ilana Lichtenstein.

Para Paulo Fehlauer, do Coletivo Garapa, a característica mais marcante da fotografia contemporânea é não estar restrita a campos específicos. “Nos nossos projetos, buscamos sempre trabalhar o diálogo da fotografia com outras linguagens, como o vídeo e a literatura. Estamos interessados nesse hibridismo que expande o campo fotográfico”.

O projeto é uma realização do jornal Diário do Pará e conta com o patrocínio da Vale e Governo do Estado do Pará e apoio do Espaço Cultural Casa das Onze Janelas do Sistema Integrado de Museus/Secult-PA, do Museu da UFPA, da Sol Informática e do Instituto de Artes do Pará.

Artistas prestigiam mostra

O paraense Lucas Gouvêa concorda com Lichtenstein. Para ele, que participa pela primeira vez do Prêmio, nenhum conceito define a produção contemporânea. “A fotografia hoje define o mais plural significado da reprodutibilidade, se encontra em todos os lugares, nos celulares, nos outdoors, nos documentos, na televisão, nos rituais humanos. E a contemporaneidade está fatalmente ligada ao tempo, todo artista é contemporâneo, ao seu tempo, à sua existência. Talvez o primeiro fotógrafo contemporâneo, tenha sido Platão, quando escreveu sua Alegoria da caverna”, sugere.

PRESENÇA

Além dos premiados, estão em Belém fotógrafos e artistas visuais que tiveram obras selecionadas para a exposição. As cariocas Patrícia Gouvêa e Isabel Löfgren, por exemplo, apresentam duas obras “Rotas de Fuga” e “Lécture sur L’herbe”. Aprimeira se constitui de um vídeo em três canais. A outra é formada por uma instalação que conjuga vídeo e fotografia.

“Nestes dois trabalhos, realizamos ações efêmeras que reconfiguram o uso do Jardim da República, no Rio de Janeiro, como local de passagem ou de repouso pelos frequentadores. Ora carregamos e trocamos de mãos uma mala antiga pelas aléias dos jardins, ora permutamos livros retirados desta mesma mala sobre o gramado. A mala é outro elemento importante neste projeto, um receptáculo de memórias, desejos e referências”, explica Patrícia, que está em Belém. Ela é fundadora-diretora do Ateliê de Imagens Espaço Cultural (RJ), onde está em cartaz a exposição ‘Symbioses’, da artista visual paraense Roberta Carvalho, premiada no ano passado pelo Diário Contemporâneo.

Pedro Hurpia, que também participa da abertura da mostra, é Bacharel em Artes Visuais pela Unicamp e tem diversos prêmios recebidos em mostras e salões paulistas. “Esta instalação que estou apresentando no Diário Contemporâneo consiste num resultado de um projeto desenvolvido no programa de residência artística do SÌM - Samband Íslenskra Myndlistarmanna - na Islândia”.

O artista realizou, durante um mês, um conjunto de imagens na região portuária de Reykjavík, capital islandesa, e para esta montagem selecionou doze fotografias e sete pinturas que fazem parte desta instalação. “A especificidade da memória embutida no suporte pictórico, em contraponto com a da imagem fotográfica, foi o ponto de partida para este projeto intitulado Harbour View”, diz.

Convite ao exercício do olhar

Outra artista que chegou a Belém para participar da abertura da mostra é Roberta Dabdab, que iniciou a carreira como assistente de fotografia, trabalhando para os principais fotógrafos de moda e publicidade atuantes na época, tornando-se depois fotojornalista (O Estado de S. Paulo, Jornal da Tarde e Folha de S. Paulo). Foi onde, segundo ela, encontrou um terreno extremamente propício para o desenvolvimento e aprimoramento da linguagem fotográfica.

“Primeiramente, quero elogiar e agradecer os responsáveis pelo Prêmio Diário de Fotografia pela iniciativa singular de proporcionar aos artistas e pensadores a possibilidade de apresentar suas ideias para um público novo, numa experiência, portanto, instigante”, elogia.

A série sem título apresentada pela artista reflete sobre um paradigma novo para a fotografia, o momento em que ela se funde com a imagem digital e mergulha no caldeirão de produção de imagens geradas nesta contemporaneidade.“Trata-se de uma instalação que busca um entendimento sobre a memória visual adquirida na relação do espectador através das associações entre sua síntese, as fotografias esvaziadas de cenas fotografadas e os textos que narram estas cenas”.

De acordo com ela, a ideia é desautomatizar os olhares e criar uma linguagem capaz de desenvolver uma memória cognitiva a partir das referências de cor e forma. “Isso parte do pressuposto de que com um mundo ‘hiper imagético cheio de informações’ precisamos aprender a reduzir, a buscar sínteses e a nos permitir voltar a exercitar a imaginação. O trabalho opera numa espécie de jogo com imagem e texto”, conclui Roberta.

O paulista Fábio Messias Martins de Souza e Marian Starosta também participam do lançamento, logo mais. Ela, que vem trabalhando com fotografia desde 1982 e com vídeo desde 1985, já foi coordenadora de Artes Visuais na Casa de Cultura Mario Quintana, em Porto Alegre, do Governo do Estado do Rio Grande do Sul, e já organizou eventos e exposições de arte.

Amanhã, às 19h, no Museu da UFPA, será aberta ao público a exposição “Para ter de onde se ir”, de Miguel Chikaoka, artista convidado deste ano. A programação inclui ainda oficinas, mini-cursos e bate-papos com artistas

De 02 a 06 de abril será realizado o mini-curso “Uma introdução à história do livro fotográfico”, com Joaquim Marçal Ferreira de Andrade - pesquisador da Divisão de Iconografia/Fundação Biblioteca Nacional e professor adjunto de fotografia da PUC-Rio.

Em maio, será realizada a oficina “Ensaio - resumindo uma ideia”, com Octávio Cardoso, de 14 a 24. A atividade vai desenvolver dois ensaios fotográficos tendo como objetivos editá-los em uma página de jornal, cada um. Octávio vai dividir a turma em dois grupos de seis fotógrafos cada, que em seguida sairão a campo. No intervalo de dez dias haverá dois encontros intermediários para discussão e avaliação, com a participação de um designer gráfico para a montagem das páginas.

Centro Cultural Banco do Brazil is featured in the international ranking of art

The Bank of Brazil Cultural Center housed three of the ten art exhibitions with the highest average daily global public last year. The information was published last week by the prestigious British journal The Art Newspaper.
The highlight was the exhibition The Magical World of Escher, who was from January to March in CCBB RJ, and appeared in first place in the ranking, with a daily average of 9,677 visitors a day and a total of 573,691 people attracted by the works of Dutch artist .

Os Centros Culturais Banco do Brasil abrigaram três das dez exposições de arte com a maior média diária mundial de público no ano passado. A informação foi publicada na semana passada pela conceituada revista britânica The Art Newspaper.
O grande destaque foi a exposição O Mundo Mágico de Escher, que ficou de janeiro a março no CCBB RJ, e apareceu no primeiro lugar no ranking, com média diária de 9.677 visitantes ao dia e um total de 573.691 pessoas atraídas pelas obras do artista holandês.
O CCBB RJ teve outras duas exposições entre as dez mais visitadas de 2011 – Oneness, da artista japonesa Mariko Mori, sétima com a maior média de público, com 6.991 visitantes diários entre abril e julho, e Eu em Tu, da americana Laurie Anderson, que atraiu uma média de 6.934 visitantes diários, na nona posição da lista.
A revista Art News Paper destacou a surpresa em ter uma exposição no Brasil como a de maior média de público no ano. “Em vez de uma instituição americana, européia ou japonesa, uma brasileira, o Centro Cultural Banco do Brasil (CCBB), no Rio de Janeiro, aparece na frente”. Segundo a publicação, “o apetite brasileiro pela arte contemporânea é notável”.
Os CCBBs figuram também no ranking dos cem museus mais visitados no mundo. A sede do Rio no 17º lugar, com 2,3 milhões de visitantes em 2011, a unidade de Brasília no 45º lugar, com 1,2 milhão e o CCBB São Paulo na 50ª posição, com 1,1 milhão de visitantes.
