I have shot Behind the Scenes photos of my own shoots for a few years now. My thought is for them to become a book one day:)

For the first time, this coming Monday, I am to shoot Behind the Scenes photos for an Australian brand which new collection is to be filmed by a very talented young man. This film is to be shown on Style.com.

Monsieur Marc Jacobs delivers as usual. Everything from the outstanding colors, the cut, to the fabrics equaled perfection. The accessories will be the must haves of the season, especially the granny styled shoes in metallics that makes the whole outfit pop. Matchy Matchy:)! Loved every single look. Amazingly Styled.

The set a fairy tale land as created by someone I adore, Rachel Feinstein.

Giulietta's Fall 2012 collection started out being heavily 60's inspired but then went on and became beautifully romantic; with dresses adorned with bow collars and with a slightly fuller silhouette. Fell madly in love at the end of their show. I Need in my closet Now.

A Tribute to the Late Mr. Alexander Le McQueen Starring Daphne Guinness Premiers Tonight in NY!

The Legend of Lady White Snake (quote from the producer's website) "A tribute to Alexander McQueen, and inspired by one of China’s most beloved ancient love stories, this film is a meditation on obsession and metamorphosis. "

The Chinese Legend (quote from I Learn Culture):

"There are many versions of the legend of “Madam White Snake” but generally, the story is set during the Southern Song dynasty.

It tells of a powerful female white snake demon, Bai Suzhen, and a green snake demon of lesser powers, Xiao Qing, that take on human form and become two beautiful women. They set home in human world and meet the scholar Xu Xian at the Broken Bridge. White snake eventually fell in love with him and marries him.

One day, Xu Xian visited a temple to pray for his family’s well-being and met the antagonist of the story, a Buddhist monk named Fa Hai who sensed the ‘devil scent’ on Xu Xian and warns Xu Xian that he married a snake demon and advises him to press her to drink some wine because it would change her in her real form.

Xu Xian follows that advice and because the white snake is pregnant and her magical powers are weakened, she turns on her snake form. When he saw her in her true form, he dies of fright. White snake was devastated and stole the magical herb from Mount Kunlun to save him."

Can't wait to see this film.

Diary 134: A Lovely Cold Week

Sunday morning I woke up to a white London:)! Took my camera and went for a long walk around Dulwich. I created 2 shoots this week so Sunday I did too a little bit of prepping, planning the outfits and such. Monday and Tuesday was full of running around town getting clothes for the shoots but too waiting in my house for fed ex deliveries. Tuesday I did a mini shoot with my assistant Vikki:) Wednesday me and Marie-Fleur shot a story for Crash. An Ice Cold day that was haha. Thank god that day is over. Fell in love with the model Carolina from IMG. And yesterday I had a date.

In a Beyond Retro blue dress, antique cross and Russel & Bromley boots. 9-13 Dulwich! Photos from my Sunday morning through Dulwich Woods to Dulwich Village. 14 I love a Soya latte at Vintage Prettys. Had a few this week. 15 For my shoot I got this yellow Paule Ka dress, such a Beauty. Behind it is my garden by the way. 16 Vikky in Paule Ka.

Behind the Scenes of My Crash Magazine Shoot

It started with traveling down south to Kent. My Most Adorably Loveable Assistants, Vikky and Mafalda (1). Could not have done this shoot without them. Vikky brought cookies from her house:)!! We were all tired. We came to the location and hair and make started on the models. One of the models of this shoot was Carolina B from IMG, which happens to be Perfection. In image 2 Carolina is having her hair done by a Very talented hair stylist. In images 3 &4 we see Carolina:)! J'adore. We did have a second model, Sophie, here she's dressed in Paule Ka wonders (5). The last image is a detail shot, Rochas pants, Fogal lace stockings and vintage Balenciaga shoes.
