Kim Kardashian is known for many things; her beautiful hair, flawless skin, loud family, spoiled ways, record short marriage, he lust for all things public, and of course, her ass! She has long fought rumors of bet implants and padded pants. The W Magazine shoot shown above and the Dr. that xray'd her bum on the K's show put those rumors to rest. Never in history has a woman, celebrity or not, worn her large backyard assets so proudly! Most of you know that I am not a huge fan of the K family but I respect what they have done. Not respect as in it is a life I would want but respect as in "Way to go, you got exactly what you wanted in life and you did nothing but be yourself.... and sell your soul."
Padded bras were officially invented in the 80's but women had been stuffing their bra's for decades! I too was a victim of kleenex in the bra from a young age, who wouldn't want lumpy uneven ta-ta's? Well ladies the lingerie industry has once again come to the rescue and you no longer need to stuff your pants! We will leave that up to the men!

While at a business dinner in LA with my husband one of his friends said to me, "you have to meet Anita, she is amazing you will love her- she is a stylist like you." My immediate thought was, "oh great, another girl who calls herself a stylist that I am going to have to talk to all night!" Yes, I know how snotty of me that sounds but I have met 1000 girls in LA who call themselves stylist and in reality they just use their daddy's Amex to buy new clothes and tell their friends what to wear to parties. When Anita arrived at dinner she was this super stylish down to earth ball of energy with a fabulous accent. To top it off she was wearing a ring I had purchased that week and when I mentioned she said, "don't you love H & M." I knew we would become fast friends! Needless to say to my relief and surprise Anita Patrickson and I hit it off and when I am planning trips to LA she is one of my first phone calls to schedule cocktails with. I quickly learned she really WAS amazing not only at her job but as a person! Anita is the the real deal when it comes to styling, working with publications around the globe, huge celebs, and popular televisions shows.
She has had a stellar year professionally, styling the beautiful Emma Watson in many raved about red carpet looks for one and I was thrilled when her name popped up in my inbox with a feature on the site Simply Stylist!

Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen has yet to disappoint me since taking over the iconic brand. Her collection for pre-fall 2012 might just be my favorite yet! The entire collection is sexy, seductive, a bit dark, form fitting, and yet gives nothing away meanwhile letting your imagination run wild.

Cinched waists, peasant sleeves, rich fabrics in deep colors with intricate embellishments and amazing silhouettes.

It is pure divine perfection!

The wide set belt used in multiple looks for Pre- Fall 2012 will be a big trend and will make your waist look tiny- double bonus!

Less than a year ago I asked my favorite assistant Dani to pull some pieces of jewelry for a photo shoot we were styling. I was immediately drawn to the pieces she brought to set and quickly asked her to introduce me to the designer, it was a line called mimi & lu. I fell in love with the delicate pieces that could be worn everyday and make a statement at the same time. We used the pieces in the shoot and soon I order several custom pieces for myself! As always I couldn't wait to share my latest obsession with my readers and so I wrote mimi & lu up on Keylee Style.

I was THRILLED when I discovered that mimi & lu was nominated for Fashion Group International's 2012 Rising Star Award. Michelle, the designer, got her start the way a lot of us do- lots of hard work and a little dash of luck. She was working back stage at Cirque du Sole and some of the performers noticed her jewelry- she had made the pieces for herself but quickly saw an opportunity and took the leap! This is a huge step in a designers career and I am so happy and proud of Michelle!

Crowning Moments.

All of the Miss California USA and Miss California Teen USA contestants arrived this morning to Palm Springs to begin the 2012 competition! The average contestant will bring at least; 2 suitcases, a carry on size roller bag, 3 hanging bags, 5 sets of eye lashes, 6 pairs of shoes, 2 evening gowns, 2 swimsuits, an interview look, 2 cans of hair spray, a bottle tantalizer and countless bags of makeup! The amazing K2 staff has worked for over 12 months to make this week run smooth and ensure each girl has a fantastic time. From Thanksgiving through next weekend K2 holds 3 state pageants, California being the largest pageant in the country with around 400 contestants! That is a lot of beauty!
It got me and my bestie Erika Shay (we met 16 years ago at Miss Teen USA) thinking about the night we competed and I took home the crown! Just for fun if you want travel back in time with us then check out these videos! It gave us a good laugh and a small tear.

Art Basel is the perfect mix of Miami Beach, New York it girls, great food, LA clubs placed on the opposite coast, fashion of all styles, staying out until sunrise and of course art!

Holiday's Trip To New York!

Being in New York at the holidays is one of my favorite things. The city, the cold, the energy, and most of all the festive spirit!

Bergdorf Goodman decked their famous holiday windows with animals themes, vintage jewelry, and beautiful clothing.

My girlfirend Kelley Moore had the most beautiful tree!

She and I caught up with some bubbly severed in a to die for vintage glass with her twinkling tree in the background.

After a day of holiday shopping had to stop at a favorite spot of mine, The Todd English Food Hall at The Plaza.

Last night I got to attend the Divine Design opening gala in Los Angeles. This event is centered around shopping and giving back, right up my alley. Project Angel Food is the beneficiary and a WONDERFUL organization that I am always delighted to support! Project Angel Food provides millions of meals for home bound seriously sick people in Los Angeles; people suffering from HIV/ AIDS, Cancer, Leukemia, and more. Viola Davis was honored as a Woman of Style and she gave the best speech of the night- "she always wanted to be pretty." The highlight of the night for me was Patricia Field... the one then only! The greatest costume designer of my time- you might know her from a little show Sex and the City or the movie The Devil Wears Prada, in which she was given an oscar nom. She is a firecracker! My husband laughs because I am never star struck, we meet and see famous people all the time, but I am a true fashion geek and become an idiot when I get to meet designers and stars of the fashion world! I held it together pretty well last night I must say!

Stuff Those Stockings!

When I was a little girl I couldn't wait to see what Santa left in my stocking. I loved all the little gifts wrapped up individually. At the bottom of the my stocking was always an orange, my mother did this because it was something her father had put in her stocking each year when she was a little girl. Her father, my grandfather, had several Christmas's growing up when all his family could afford was 1 orange for each of them. So in his memory and to make sure we were always conscious of how fortunate we were my mother carried the tradition forward.

Here are a few big girl stocking stuffer's that would have me just as excited, all under $25!

The Tangle Teezer looks like an old school tool that my dad would have used but it is GENIUS! I was first introduced at my salon, Neil George of Beverly Hills, when my colorist used it on my wet hair to get the tangles out. I am not obsessed with how amazing it feels against my scalp and the way it can get out any knot my hair may tangle in to. Tangle Teezer comes in a variety of colors and even a special flower pot edition that is perfect for little girls! My husband and my dog fight me for this brush... we all love it!

A true icon of design shares his collection in a way that no designer has ever dreamed. Valentino Garavani's virtual museum features each master creation, details of the garment, the woman who wore it, photos of the event she wore it to, and interviews with the master himself; Valentino. To work with this man would have been an opportunity of a life time, something that can never be repeated, and something most women on the plant (including myself) will only dream of. The good thing is that he has put his old wold art into a modern visual fashion-gasm.

He is so modern you can even follow him on Twitter and like him on Facebook!

Does anyone else find it ironic that Kim Kardashian is promoting her Love collection fragrance for the holidays? When I first saw her tweets about it I thought it was a KK impostor! Love, really? She was married 72 days, as I am sure everyone is well aware and now she is promoting LOVE? I knew that family would sell anything for Kash but Love? If someone I actually loved gave me that perfume set, minus the fact I only wear one type of perfume- Hermes Faubourg 24, I think it would be a sign of how much of a joke they thought our Love was.
Over the next few weeks I will be sharing my favorite gifts to buy this holiday season but this is the one gift I would advise you NOT to buy this year!
