Britney Spears unveils music video for 'Hold It Against Me'.

The video for Britney Spears’ Hold It Against Me finally came out on Thursday. And, boy, if you’re a fan of product placement, you’re in for a treat! Two big ones are Sony, again, and Plenty of Fish, one of the world’s largest online dating sites which was hacked recently.

The singer, who released 14 teasers in the build up to the promo's premiere, directed fans to the clip last night via her Twitter page.

She wrote: "Without further adieu, I present my video for 'Hold It Against Me', directed by the wonderful Jonas Akerlund. (sic)"

The video shows Spears arriving to Earth in a meteor before fighting against herself and shooting paint from her fingers.

The 'Stronger' star later tweeted: "Hope you guys love it as much as I do. If you didn't I'll kung fu kick you like I did to that chick in the video."

'Hold It Against Me' has already topped the US singles chart and peaked at number six in the UK.

Larry Rudolph, the pop princess' longtime manager, spoke to MTV News via Skype after the video premiere about the climactic fight sequence and further clarified earlier reports that indicated that Britney had used a body double for the clip's dance scenes.

"It was good," Rudolph said of the combat scene. "Of course, there was a body double in there that she was fighting most of the time, which is where some confusion came in. ... I heard some rumors that she used a body double. The reality is, she used a body double for the fight scene, 'cause it's all the fight herself."

So what does the epic battle scene mean to him? While he hopes fans draw their own conclusions, he shared his theories with MTV News.

"There are really two different Britneys," he said. "There's a public Britney and there's a private Britney, and they're very different. Maybe the world doesn't really know that, maybe those of us who do know her really well understand that, but there really are two different Britneys. Maybe at some times the two Britneys are at odds with each other; most of the time they're not. There's some of that going on. I think it's also about Britney just being strong and still on top after all these years. ... But there's a few different ways to look at it."

Audition dates of 'American Idol' announces , lowers minimum age to 15

Fox has published American Idol's tenth-season audition dates and announced that the age eligibility to audition for the upcoming 10th season of the singing competition would be lowered from 16 to 15 years old. The maximum age to audition remains 28.

"A lot of young, talented people are now seeking careers and representation before they turn 16," Idol executive producer Cecile Frot-Coutaz said. "Lowering the age limit allows us to tap into this talent pool."

American Idol's maximum eligibility age will remain 28 -- the same upper limit the show has used since its fourth season. (Prior to Idol's fourth season, age 26 had been the maximum age.)

American Idol's tenth-season auditions will kick-off in Nashville, TN on July 17 and continue in Milwaukee, WI on July 21; New Orleans, LA on July 26; East Rutherford, NJ on August 3; Austin, TX on August 11; and San Francisco, CA on August 19.

Besides meeting the competition's age requirements, applicants must also be eligible to work in the United States.

Last month, Fox announced American Idol will also make MySpace part of its tenth-season auditions process (MySpace is a division by News Corporation, Fox's parent company).

"As this is our tenth season, in celebration of this fact, we wanted to cast our talent net even further to make sure we discover the best talent ever," Idol creator and executive producer Simon Fuller said. "Involving MySpace means now -- for the first time -- artists can post their auditions online prior to attending our live auditions. We are hoping and expecting this to be the biggest ever talent search in our history."

Kate Gosselin is considering to take legal action hearing the words from her former babysitter claimed that estranged husband Jon hacked into her emails, phone records and online bank accounts.

According to RadarOnline.com, nanny Stephanie Santoro said Jon bragged about hacking into the mother of eight's personal accounts and said that he would use the information he found against her.

"Kate Gosselin has heard the allegations made by Stephanie Santoro that Jon Gosselin 'hacked' into her e-mails, phone, and online accounts, and she is profoundly disturbed by them," her law firm, Schnader Harrison Segal and Lewis, said in a statement Thursday. "Under the circumstances, Ms. Gosselin is carefully considering all of her legal options regarding this matter, and she will pursue them if and when the time is right."

Her running back boyfriend was shooting a commercial for St. Jude's cancer research when he met a special young girl.
"He called me right away and said, 'I met my new best friend and she's dying to meet you' and it was just really, really sweet," Kim said. "She touched his heart and I can't wait to meet her."
Reggie even snapped a pic of them together and posted it to his Twitter, which Kim quickly retweeted.
As for whether she'll ever pull a Miley and delete her account, Kim (who has more than two million followers) says she's here to stay.
"I hope to tweet for life!" she said. "I love interacting with everyone. I love the fact that you can ask a question and get a response instantly. It's like instant gratification."

"'Jon & Kate Plus 8' will be finished in mid to late November," a TLC spokeswoman told ABCNews.com today, declining to comment further.

"Basically we've put a halt on the show," Jon Gosselin's manager Mike Heller told People magazine earlier this month. "Jon has been talking to TLC for a long time to cut back on the production and still honor his contract -- because it's been getting in the way of his family, his children are complaining."

If Jon Gosselin changes his mind, his kids and ex-wife could be featured in "Kate Plus 8," TLC's planned spinoff of the soon-to-end series. If not, it could be a long time before the Gosselins come back to TV.

The development comes as Jon and Kate Gosselin's divorce grows ever more nasty. Jon was ordered to reimburse the crumbling couple's joint bank account to the tune of nearly $200,000 eariler this week.

The Gosselin's respective lawyers met with a court-appointed arbitrator Tuesday to iron out the couple's economic issues -- namely that Kate Gosselin, who wants child and spousal support, has accused her ex of taking $230,000 from their joint bank account. Talking to "The Insider" last week, Jon Gosselin countered that he only took $22,000, which he said shouldn't matter to the mother of his kids because she has money hidden away.

But according to TMZ.com, today, Jon Gosselin was ordered to return $180,000 of the funds he withdrew from the account. If he doesn't repay the money by Oct. 26, he'll have to appear before the judge for a contempt proceeding.

Jon wiped out joint account, says can't pay bills -Kate Gosselin

Kate Gosselin has confirmed that her estranged husband Jon Gosselin has almost completely wiped out their joint bank account, leaving her unable to pay bills.

"Jon Gosselin took $230,000 of the $231,000 that we have liquid. I have a stack of bills in my purse I can't drop in the mail," Kate Gosselin told Today anchor Meredith Viera during a Monday interview."Will you demand that that money be redeposited in the account?" asked Viera.

"I have to in order to keep my kids where they live and put food on their table," the Jon & Kate Gosselin Plus 8 star responded as she held back tears.

"I need that money to provide for them. You have to understand my position here. We were in a position after our sextuplets were born that we could not pay our bills. We did the show to provide a better life for them. Never in my life did I think I would be back in the same position, worried about providing for them."

Kate Gosselin said concerns about the couple's liquid assets began almost immediately when they filed for divorce in June and announced their separation after 10 years of marriage. According to Kate Gosselin, an arbitrator ruled neither could remove funds from the account without the other's consent after Jon apparently decided to do just that.

"Jon Gosselin had done it a few days before I filed for divorce. Jon Gosselin didn't empty it completely, but it was enough that I was afraid," said Kate Gosselin. "In fact, at some point up until that point I had taken $100,000 and put it aside safely so that I could buy my kids food if this occurred. I was afraid. Literally, he was buying erratic purchases -- randomly purchasing things."

Kate Gosselin added she removed the money at the "suggestion" of her lawyer, however she was subsequently told by an arbitrator she "needed to put it back," which she claims she did.

"The last thing I wanted was to do [Jon & Kate Plus 8] and not be able to pay my bills. So I put money aside -- willingly brought it forward and split it with him when we had our meeting," explained Kate. "So he took $50,000 and did whatever with it and I paid bills with my $50,000. Once the court arbitrator stepped in, I felt like the money, I had to put it back. I didn't feel like it would be safe to be honest."

Jon Gosselin's legal team issued a statement to The Insider -- which was read by Viera during Kate Gosselin's Today appearance -- in which it disputed Sunday's reports.

"[Jon] has not withdrawn any money for his own remuneration with the exception of the past several months wherein he believes he only withdrew approximately $170,000," reads the statement. "It is not unlikely when the arbitrator or court receive a full accounting of all the proceeds that Jon will be awarded substantial additional funds."

Lindsay Lohan has picked fashion, with her new collection being described as ‘cheesy’ and ‘embarrassing’. Which, incidentally, is exactly how her genitals and breasts are often respectively described.Right now, Lindsay Lohan’s career is in tatters. Her movies go straight to DVD. Her third album, which Lindsay Lohan started two years ago, is nowhere to be seen. And her rumoured reality TV show seems to have gone cold.

Lindsay Lohan is all about unfulfilled promise – that’s why her movie career peaked with the Parent Trap remake.

So if you can’t act, can’t sing and your ambitions to be a TV presenter are consistently thwarted at every turn, where do you turn? Simple: fashion. It worked for Victoria Beckham, after all.

And that’s what Lindsay Lohan has done – she’s teamed up with Spanish fashion designer Estrella Archs and designed a Spring 2010 Ungaro collection, which was debuted during Paris Fashion Week yesterday. And, if we’re being serious for a moment, fashion seems like the perfect outlet for Lindsay Lohan’s creativity.

Well, alright, maybe not her creativity – but she does look about 30 years older than Lindsay Lohan actually is and her skin’s all leathery and her voice has become unfathomably hoarse and her lips look unnaturally big and she seems like she needs a good night’s sleep and she looks like she smells of stale cigarette cack and profound spiritual emptiness, so she’s halfway to being Donatella Versace anyway. Yeah, fashion’s the perfect fit for Lindsay Lohan.

Or at least fashion would be the perfect fit for Lindsay Lohan if Lindsay Lohan was able to show even a basic level of aptitude for it which, judging by the responses to her new collection, she obviously can’t. WWD reports:

The clothes… looked cheesy and dated, as has often been the case chez Ungaro during the post-Emanuel revolving door of designers. Hot pink, orange and flashy, with an overworked heart motif relentless in its execution, the collection displayed none of the promised younger side Lohan was supposed to deliver… Glitter heart pasties all around, ladies?

If you couldn’t really absorb much of that last paragraph, either because you don’t understand the self-regarding impenetrable fashion-speak or because – as in our case – all the self-regarding impenetrable fashion-speak makes you want to repeatedly punch yourself in your own mouth, then let us translate for you. We think it says that Lindsay Lohan’s clothes aren’t very good because some of them are pink. Or something.

Kanye West and Lady Gaga has been canceled with no reason given just weeks after the rap star came under public fire for humiliating country star Taylor Swift at an awards ceremony.

Concert promoter Live Nation said in a statement on Thursday that the "Fame Kills" tour, that was due to kick off in Phoenix, Arizona on November 10 and run through January, had been canceled with refunds available at the point of sale.

"It was a mutual decision," Lady Gaga said Friday. "Kanye's going to take some time off. But the good news is that I'm going on tour in a few weeks."

Lori Ann Gibson, Gaga's longtime choreographer, claimed on her Twitter feed that "creative differences" between the Gaga and West led to the tour's abrupt demise.

The cancellation, announced Thursday with no official reason given, came just days after the two stars announced the tour dates. The cancellation followed a wave of negative publicity for West in the wake his interruption of Taylor Swift's acceptance speech at the MTV Video Music Awards last month.

Lady Gaga was speaking as she arrived at Billboard Women in Music Event where she receiving the Rising Star award.

'Juliet, Naked' describes about the seductive power of pop music in High Fidelity and how a hobby can become an obsession in Fever Pitch has been written by Nick Hornby. His new novel marries those two themes so perfectly that it deserves one of those smashup names. High Pitch, anyone?

Juliet, Naked is the actual title, and it's just right, like so much of this book.

Tucker Crowe is a musician whose record Juliet was hailed as the greatest breakup album ever. Then, in the middle of a tour, he abruptly canceled all remaining shows and disappeared from public life.

Crowe's decades-long silence creates a community of fans who endlessly analyze his music and speculate about his disappearance.

Duncan is one of those fans. His job is teaching in an English seaside town, but his avocation is running a Crowe Web site. When the novel opens, he's on a pilgrimage with his girlfriend, Annie, visiting sites such as the Minneapolis bathroom where Crowologists, as they call themselves, believe the artist experienced an epiphany.

Annie regarded Duncan's passion as manageable when they first met. Then the Internet came along.

"Until then, the nearest fellow fan had lived in Manchester, sixty or seventy miles away, and Tucker met up with him once or twice a year; now the nearest fans lived in Duncan's laptop, and there were hundreds of them, from all around the world, and Duncan spoke to them all the time."

Anyone who has ever stumbled into an obsessive fan site will recognize immediately that Nick Hornby has nailed the details, right down to the petty rivalries.

Duncan and Annie's arid relationship is due for a shake-up – she wants a baby but realizes "Duncan was nobody's idea of a father." The catalyst arrives in the form of a CD: acoustic sessions of Crowe's great work. It becomes known as Juliet, Naked.

Duncan posts a rhapsodic review. Annie shocks herself and her partner, first by disagreeing and then by writing a rebuttal that Duncan posts on his Web site.
