One family wants to get through a tunnel. Dad can make it in 1 minute, mama in 2 minutes, son in 4 and daughter in 5 minutes. Unfortunately, not more than two persons can go.......

... through the narrow tunnel at one time, moving at the speed of the slower one.
Can they all make it to the other side if they have a torch that lasts only 12 minutes and they are afraid of the dark?

Three students checked into a hotel and paid the clerk $30 for a room ($10 each). When the hotel manager returned, he noticed that the clerk had incorrectly charged $30 instead of $25 for the room. The manager told the clerk to return $5 to the students. The clerk, knowing that the students would not be able to divide $5 evenly,.......
decided to keep $2 and to give them only $3.

The students were very happy because they paid only $27 for the room ($9 each). However, if they paid $27 and the clerk kept $2, that adds up to $29. What happened to the other Dollar?

Two old friends ,FRED and TED,has managed to work a partypeice that one could figure out.FRED would go out of the room and TED would invite the guests to select an item . They were then asked to continue to think of it so that FRED could read their minds. FRED would be blindfolded so that there could be no possibility of visual clues.TED (WHO IS NOT BLIND FOLDED)
then start to ask FRED questions:

ON one occation TED asked the blindfolded guy ,FRED
"DID WE THINK OF THE WORD SOCK?"
"ABSOLUTELY NO".replied FRED.
"WELL , WAS IT AN ASHTRAY?"
"NO"
"OK,IS THE WORD PLATE?"
AGAIN THE ANWER WAS NEGETIVE.
"SO,ARE WE THINKING OF THE WORD CHINA?"
"NO."replied FRED.
"ARE WE THINKING OF WORD CARPET?"
"NO ,"replied FRED,"THE WORD YOUARE THINKINGOF IS CHAIR"

One day, a father went to his three sons and told them that he would die soon and he needed to decide which one of them to give his property to.He decided to give them all a test .He said,"GO TO THE MARKET MY SONS,AND PURCHASE SOMETHING THAT IS LARGE ENOUGH TO FILL MY BEDROOM,BUT SMALL ENOUGH TO FIT IN YOUR POCKET. Each so come back with a different item.The father told his sons to come into his bedroom one at a time and try to fill up his bedroom with what ever they had purchased.The first son came in and put some pieces of cloth that he had brought and laid them end to end across the room,but it barely covered any of the floor.Then the second son came in and laid some hay , that he had purchased,on the floor but there was only enough to cover half of the floor.The third son came in and showed his father what he had purchased and how it could fill the entire room yet still fit into his pocket.The father replied ,"YOU ARE TRULY THE WISEST OF ALL AND YOU SHALL RECEIVE MY PROPERTY"

Allan , Bertrand and Cecil were caught stealing so the king sent them to the dungeon.But the king decided to give them a chance .He made them stand in a line and put hats on their heads.He told them that if they answer the riddle ,they could go free ,but if they answered it wrong they will be killed.
