My source of inspiration for this shoot was the BMX movie RAD. I've always been a big fan of BMX since a little corn and got my first in the late 80's. Did some stunts and broke my collarbone. Sold the bike and picked up the mic. But that's another story.

Process
First I did a mental moodboard. Then I gathered some professional and upcoming BMX riders. By-the-way. Thanks to Joakim Olsson. One of the best BMX riders in Sweden. Who helped me put this shoot together. Anyway, called the photographer Viktor Rising.
Took my Schwinn to all the press agencies. Gathered my shit. Back to the office in Östermalm and started with creative puzzling . The Result?

The first large-scale American museum exhibition to survey the colorful history of graffiti and street art movements internationally.

Art In The Streets is a Paperback 320 page book that highlights the connection between graffiti and street art and other vibrant subcultures, such as those that developed around Hip Hop in the Bronx and skateboarding in Southern California, Art In The Streets explores parallel movements in dance and music.

The exhibition is curated by MoCA Director Jeffrey Deitch, working with a curatorial advisory committee that includes Roger Gastman and Aaron Rose.

When I was working in Cuba as an stylist assistant for Cosmopolitan. We had one day off. The team decided we should visit Hemingways home.

Finca Vigia is located in the small, working-class town of San Francisco de Paula. The Cuban people have always respected famous writer's choice to live in a modest town, amongst the people he fished with. Built in 1886 by a Spanish Architect Miguel Pascual y Baguer, Finca Vigia was purchased by Hemingway in 1940 for a cost of $12,500. There, Hemingway wrote two of his most celebrated novels: For Whom the Bell Tolls and The Old Man and the Sea. A Movable Feast was written there as well.

After Hemingway's death in 1961, the Cuban government took ownership of the property - either with or without the approval of Mary Hemingway.

The simplicity is what appeals me the most. A a few modern touches like flatscreen, my Technique 1200's and huge walk in closet and we having the next party at my house.

I got these nice Nike Air Force 1 Premium Hyperfuse from a Nike representative the other week...

It's the most classic among the classics: the Air Force One. In 2011 this model was reworked in several quirky variations so to make way in the closet of the modern hypey man. Nike utilised the Foamposite technology and even a duck boot make over one of the most celebrated shoes ever. The stitch-less construction on the upper gives the shoe a slimmer profile refreshing this originally chunky silhouette, now way more slim. All the main characteristic touches found on the AF1’s are left unchanged: lace jewel, strap and branding. The mesh intertwined on the composite upper should also help with the weight of the shoe, basically providing a lighter and modern alternative to the original AF1.

When the NCAA basketball season officially opens on October 15th, three teams from three different conferences will be outfitted in their own colorway of the Nike LeBron 9.
