Photography for Estate Agents in Eastbourne

2018-05-22T19:52:00.001+01:00

Sovereign Harbour, in Eastbourne, East Sussex, is one of the most popular parts of the town to live in and is a great place for photography on a sunny day. I particularly enjoy photographing properties in this area due to the range of building styles and as someone who loves sailing, any excuse to go and look at yachts is fine by me. As well as a wide range of birds, did you know that there are even seals in the outer harbour?

Birds and boats aside, I do a lot of estate agent property photography around Eastbourne, Polegate, Pevensey and Hailsham and also Sovereign Harbour in particular and it's great to see the inside of many of the flats, apartments and houses there.

With many estate agents in Eastbourne you are never short of choice, so it's always best to go with one that offers professional property photographers as part of their package. Good looking photographs always attract more attention online so it's well worth having them done properly as it's an investment that can repay itself many times over.

If you are unhappy with how your property looks why not contact me to see how I can improve the look of your property or go with an estate agent that offers professionally taken images such as That Property Place! You might be very surprised at what a difference it can make.

Below are some photographs of a previous production 'Deadly Sins' at the Underground Theatre in Eastbourne which left the audience thrilled!

Animarum is the biggest and most stunning production to date and tickets are available from the Royal Hippodrome Theatre by following this link:

Halloween Horror Bunny

2016-10-04T20:37:00.000+01:00

This was a really interesting and fun Halloween shoot from a couple of weeks ago at Dungeness in Kent, which is one of the bleakest looking places in the south-east, but also one of my favourites.

We started the shoot an hour or so before sunset and this got us a bit of an audience obviously, including a couple of policemen doing a slow drive by. Most of the shoot took place after dark though and although I'm not much of a one for health and safety it does have to be planned fairly carefully at somewhere like this due to the tangles of netting, ropes, and abandoned machinery all over the place, before you add in bags, equipment, lightstands, etc.

When she's not in costume Amy Hunnisett does a pretty good impression of a post-apocalyptic mutant bunny hunter:

Although things look rather different when she's dressed up:

Ed Cuming plays the part of one of the many unfortunates to meet their miserable and sticky end at the hands of our furry flop-eared fiend:

I hope you are all looking forward to a suitably spooky Halloween, just be careful, you never know what's really lurking out there...

More Wedding Dresses

2015-03-04T08:27:00.000+00:00

I thought I would put up a few more wedding dresses from EWF2015, the only problem is I can't remember which ones came from which bridal boutiques, sorry about that but they still look stunning!

Valentia Bridal in Hailsham

2015-02-26T18:26:00.000+00:00

I popped in to Valentia Bridal in Hailsham today and it reminded me that I meant to share one of their dresses from the Eastbourne Wedding Fair 2015 at the Winter Garden last month. Valentia have a reputation for producing something spectacular for the show and you could literally hear the intake of breath when this stunning black wedding dress appeared on the catwalk:

By the second day it was actually getting applause, I think people were coming back with their friends just to see it again!

They had the same effect at EWF2014 the previous year with this beautiful red wedding dress:

Although it's still a year away I cannot wait to see what they come up with for the next show. Whatever it is I know it will be the show stopper of the event again. You can find out more about Valentia Bridal and their beautiful range of wedding, bridesmaid and prom dresses on their website: www.valentiabridal.co.uk

Peroni Girls

Advertising hoardings in in Los Angeles last year, although really I suppose I should call them billboards. I liked the stark geometry of them in the very strong midday sunshine but waited until the young woman walking along the street was underneath to give an idea of the scale of them - really rather large!

Dark Tales

An intense and creepy look for the author K.G.V. Masters, writer of dark tales and poetry. A happy smiling headshot really wouldn't have gone with his style of writing.

Bird Man

2015-02-14T08:52:00.002+00:00

This is from one of the most unusual shoots I've ever done, not just because of the collection of bizarre characters involved, but also because it took place in an old peoples home in Folkestone which gave us a curious audience of blue rinsed knitted cardigans, it made their day.

The shoot was for Acting Moon Events, an event agency and production company providing very unusual entertainment for parties, weddings and corporate events as well as more mainstream artists like singers and bands. Extreme Happiness

Just three exceptionally happy people at a wedding at the Powdermills Hotel near Battle in East Sussex, I think that the wine was helping somewhat!

I love the collection of limbs going everywhere and the movement of the chaps arms in the background.

Blue Sunset

Surreal image of a Bride looking through a window on a blue sunset scene. From Sarah and Anthony's wedding at the Ocean Suite on Eastbourne Pier.

Hard strobe to camera right to create shadow definition with a CTO gel to make the interior orange which is then nuetralised to white, turning the outside blue.

Wine Photography

2015-02-08T10:24:00.001+00:00

I have to confess that I love wine, I mean really love wine. I don't know much about it, I just like drinking the stuff. So it's always a wrench to have to hand bottles of wine back to a client with the contents still intact after a shoot.

Photographed on a white paper background, with 24" softboxes either side, small kicker light in front below the camera to pick out the label and black card at the rear sides to provide edge definition to the bottle - looks good enough to drink - and with that in mind...

It's Not Just the Beef...

2013-02-11T22:01:00.000+00:00

With the current frenzy over Black Beauty appearing in various juicy steak and ale pies, evidence is now appearing that the issue may not be confined to beef products alone and questions are being asked about the source of "Extra Large Value Lamb Chops":

Sunseeker Predator 115

2013-01-19T12:22:00.000+00:00

As a rule I prefer my boats to have sails, but it has to be said that the Sunseeker Predator 115 Sport Yacht on display at the 2013 Tullett Prebon London Boat Show is something I could learn to live with.

The headline figures of 113 ft long, beam of 24 ft, maximum speed of 26 knots and accommodation for 10 guests and 5 crew only tell part of the story. You really have to go on board to see what it's all about and in a word it's luxury. The interiors of all large Sunseekers are bespoke, resulting in designs that could making leading 5 star hotels have a bit of a rethink.

There are a couple of downsides to a yacht like this though. The first is the price tag of nearly £11,000,000, which might be a little difficult to sneak past the bank manager. Even if your lottery win covers the initial outlay, a 1200 nautical mile trip will consume around 19,000 litres of fuel at 10 knots and if you're in a hurry and moving at 26 knots... well, it's probably best not to think about what it's costing you.

Have a look at the Sunseeker website http://www.sunseeker.com/index.php, choose your favourite and start saving - good luck!
