BOY Is My First Book To Make It Into New Jersey's STELLA Library System!!!

2026-10-22T11:45:45.576-07:00

BOY: A Story Based On True Events is NOT my first book BUT it is the first one to make it into NJ's STELLA library system... AND I AM SO PROUD!!! This means that people who never heard about my work can now read it for themselves!!!!

Below are a couple of screenshots to commemorate this GRAND career achievement

THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR SUPPORT!!

Stage 32 and UPL Stella(r) Update!!!

2026-10-21T14:14:54.777-07:00

GREAT NEWS ON BOTH ENDS!!!!

1) Stage 32 informed me that two of my projects/scripts got recommendations!!! They are now available for perusal by 3000 executives on Stage 32’s Marketplace!!! I will put links to them at the bottom of this post.

2) Josue Simao, one of the head librarians at UPL, stated that the books I submitted to the Stella system were taking some time because of the number of books that I submitted!!! They were used to maybe two at the max but I gave them a box of about 8 books so they are now being entered into the NJ library system… Whew 😅!!! I started to think the worst but everything in due time which is just STELLA(R)!!!! LOL!!! 😂

FYI I just checked the system and BOY is available!!!

My Books And The STELLA System With The UPL

2026-10-15T09:09:39.241-07:00

A quick one to let you know that I have about 9 books under consideration with UPL's STELLA system. This means that all the libraries in NJ may be able (if the books are approved) to get copies of the majority of my most recent books.

Hopefully, the consortium will approve giving access to my books to all who may not be able to buy them. Personally, although grateful, I wish this were national not only for potential sales, but for the exposure to my writing. Several of the books that weren't included as of yet were THE LEPIDOPTERAN 3 & BEEP of which I will submit later when the mood hits me to do so.

Below are the links to the books on BN and Amazon.

Photos Of Authors At UPL Fair

2026-09-26T12:57:37.549-07:00

I got there at about 10:45 to set up because the first half of the fair started at 11am. I saw some familiar faces from last year and as the event progressed took pictures of both new and old.

Fortunately, sold a few copies and gave some away in exchange for services which I will reveal later on in the year!!!

Overall, the nor’easter couldn’t stop all the action… I wish the authors in both halves of the fair the Best of Luck 🤞!!!

Cheers

5 Prong Entertainment Attack (LOL)!!!

2026-09-23T09:59:40.822-07:00

As some of you assumed, I have begun working on my next children’s book using the character of Nina which should be available by the end of the year. BUT that’s just the first part of the attack!!!

I sent the first 10 pages of BEEP to an executive who premiered at TriBeCa for a review!!! It’s set up that if she likes the first 10 then she’ll go ahead and read the rest of the script.

Next, I pitched HUMAN GAME the series to an executive who works with Paramount/CBS to see if she’ll request the script and other information about the series.

Just like HG the series I am waiting to hear back from the AI company whose CEO took my book, The Lepidopteran, from me at a networking where he told me that there was a filmmaker interested.

And finally there’s The PACT!!! Last year I contacted the Obama Foundation and their library about checking out the book. Just last month one copy sold of the book which led me to reach out to other organizations about investing in the TV series. I contacted the Overlook Foundation and wrote their headquarters twice and noticed that the link that I sent of the trailer got numerous hits… This is promising!!! If they were to offer a grant to redo the series I would jump at it!!!

So, that’s this last month in a nutshell! Below I have put the links 🔗 to the books on Amazon (and which has them all) and Barnes and Noble. Don’t hesitate to check them out!!!

TAPinto Link to the Upcoming Author's Fair @ UPL

2026-09-22T12:44:39.521-07:00

I was shocked when I got a Google Alert with my stage name in it. Sure enough, it was pointing out that I was listed (first) in an online article by TAPinto (Union) about the Union Public Library's Authors Fair. Instead of reposting the article I'll just provide the link if anyone wants to read it.

See you Saturday September 26, 2026 for my showing at the fair from 11am to 1pm.

Cheers

MARS ICE SOCIAL NETWORKING

2026-09-17T20:32:25.778-07:00

I went to the Mars Ice Social Networking with Spock at the behest of my new colleague, Xander. Once there we noticed that most of the people there were Russian. This didn't stop us because we're not too political and often leave politics out of general "maneuverings" BUT the one thing that caught my eye at the Times Square event (which was held in an Argentinian art gallery) was the "FREE TEQUILA BAR"!!! They were serving a new brand of tequila called EL BANDIDO and gave away a few keepsakes to remember the brand. IT WORKED! The highest alcohol bottle was the best! It had no after taste and went down smooth. I found myself coming back throughout the night to sample the different flavors but ultimately returned to the high concentrate brand. The art in the gallery was huge and playful in nature. While I didn't make as many contacts, Alexander, the host was truly welcoming and tried to connect with his guests.

Below are some pictures of the event. Spock was rather quiet this time until he met another Nathan in the crowd. LOL!!

Special Shout-out to Diana, Tania, and Daryl... I'll be contacting you, Nathan, and Alex in the future.

Cheers

Heading To A Fashion Week Networking!!!

2026-09-15T09:11:09.959-07:00

Even though we got in early it was more expensive than usual and I feel that it is worth it!!! The networking is in the Times Square area and will probably attract a few high profile people.

I hope to make some worthwhile connections and will keep you posted!!! The event is hosted by Mars Ice {Social} so we’ll see!!!

ps The event location was announced just 5 days before the event to keep it exclusive that’s why I am not posting pics until after the event! PEACE ✌️

THE NEW UPL FLYER HAS ME LISTED!!!

2026-09-09T14:06:26.392-07:00

The Union (NJ) Public Library's Author Fair Flyer has been released, and you can see my me in the 11-1pm section on the far right. The fair is on September 26, 2026, in the main library.

I will be bringing about a dozen various books from my collection of work, but not all of them, and definitely not more than two apiece so come early. Also, I can accept card payments because I have a card reader (JIM) on my phone if you don't want to carry cash.

The children's books will be $12 while the other books will be just $10. I'll be signing any and all books that you want signed for free with the purchase(s) even those that you purchased elsewhere so...

I Hope To See You There!!! Flyer is below.

3 S.S., Lepidopteran And Nina

2026-08-29T18:09:16.244-07:00

Just a little rant about what happened over the last couple of weeks…

So, I went to a networking event in NYC and met some interesting folks. I brought three of my books (NINA, 3 Strange Scripts and The Lepidopteran) and gave them to people who genuinely were interested. The first was a lady who was starting a clothing line. She had children who were beginning to read. She was from Denmark 🇩🇰 but came to the networking from her home in Philadelphia. She wanted her children to read more so I gave her NINA and she was thoroughly pleased.

The next was a CEO of a social media company and he was very enthused about reading 3 S.S. but during our conversation another guy who I’d met earlier overheard that I was a screenwriter and we sparked another conversation. He’d met the day before a person who wanted to do an AI feature film and seeing that he owned an AI company told him to look out for potential ideas/scripts so I gave him The Lepidopteran. PERFECT 👌🏽!!!! Most of the characters and effects are made for AI/CGI.

Shortly before this event I was at the doctor’s office of the doctor who is in the dedication of 3SS. He had bought 11 copies of the book. I signed them all to which he began passing them to the staff and promised that he would give a copy to the department head!!! GLORIOUS!!!! The nurse to whom NINA is dedicated also said that she had already started to spread the word about her (and her colleagues) book so mission accomplished!!! It only takes a drop to cause a ripple in still waters…

Until next time, Dear Reader, buy a book, spread the word, and stay POSITIVE!!!

Some Technical Difficulties with NINA

2026-08-07T04:04:22.501-07:00

Amazon's full bleed setting was necessary for the NINA book which meant that 3 times I had to reset the borders with my publisher to make it work for paperback printing. I was hoping that it would be completely up by now so today we'll all have to wait and see when Amazon will okay the book. Barnes & Noble said it would take 3 days so that means that today is also the release date for NINA on BN as well.

Below are the links to my author pages on both sites to make it easier to check for latest books including NINA. If it isn't up just check back later.

Also, Amazon is offering double points days August 7-8 so it's the perfect time to pick up some books!!!

HB GIBSON'S TECHNO MASTERPIECES

2026-06-16T16:28:05.755-07:00

My buddy and actor/v.o. performer has branched off to start a music career. Several of his latest tracks are very reminiscent of 80s movie scores. I am particularly fond of "Trapped" and I added his first techno-venture "Cyber Samurai" BUT below is his YouTube promo for his reggae EP coming out July 4th. If you want to hear the other songs mentioned just go to Spotify and type in HB Gibson or hit the links below!!!

HUMAN GAME Is Now My Bestselling Book BUT It's NOT A BESTSELLER YET!!!

2026-06-02T12:37:23.557-07:00

HUMAN GAME is now leading in book reads on my Amazon Author's Page BUT IT ISN'T A BESTSELLER!!! I noted in an earlier post that with the book promotion both Human Game and BEEP ranked 13 & 14 for a short period under the African American Mystery, Thriller, and Suspense categories. Yet, I need to do better. The Lepidopteran is in 3rd place but didn't rank as high because it was place in the very competitive Sci-Fi categories.

If you've gotten any of my books, PLEASE RATE THEM!!! The more ratings received; the more the books will be pushed to other's who have not seen them... And I need the help!

So, use the link in red to go to my author's page and RATE THEM... Just giving them stars is enough you don't have to write words for the review to count. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!!!
