Remember that the meaning of a dot (.) in regular expressions is any character, so the expression should be escaped properly. after I browsing sana sini :D, I finally found some solution..
to create a wildcard dns in mikrotik, type your dns regex like this..

How to know your network speed between two boxes..

I use iperf. It's a client server arrangement in that you run it in server mode at one end and connect to its from another computer on the other side of the network.

One both machines run:

sudo apt-get install iperf

We'll start an iperf server on one of the machines:

iperf -s

And then on the other computer, tell iperf to connect as a client:

iperf -c <address of other computer>

On the client machine, you'll see something like this:

Of course, if you're running a firewall on the server machine, you'll need to allow connections on port 5001 or change the port with the -p flag.

You can do pretty much the same thing with plain old nc (netcat) if you're that way inclined. On the server machine:

nc -vvlnp 12345 >/dev/null

And the client can pipe a gigabyte of zeros through dd over the nc tunnel.

As demod:

The timing there is given by dd but it should be accurate enough as it can only output as fast the pipe will take it. If you're unhappy with that you could wrap the whole thing up in a time call.

Remember that the result is in megabytes so multiply it by 8 to get a megabits-per-second speed. The demo above is running at 944mbps.

So, how to solve that problem..? follow me..
at your linux console, type these command :

$ vboxmanage internalcommands sethduuid virtual_disk.vdi

that command will change your virtualdisk image uuid...

Beberapa Install dan Setting Mikrotik di GNS3

GNS menyediakan banyak cara untuk menjalankan Appliance untuk dapat digunakan. Bisa pakai Virtual Box, Qemu, VmWare, maupun image lain yang bisa dijalankan untuk virtualisasi.

Berikut ini saya share beberapa cara yang dapat anda lakukan :

1. Menggunakan Qemu bisa di lihat pada link berikut : Qemu GNS3
2. Menggunakan Image di Virtual Box, ikuti cara dibawah ini :

GNS3 dengan VirtualBox Image :
Kali ini saya akan share cara untuk Install Mikrotik di GNS3 menggunakan VirtualBox untuk membuat Mikrotik packet Tracer :D. Kenapa VirtualBox? kok gak pakai Qemu saja yang enteng? Jawabannya adalah karena lebih mudah. Jadi lebih enak kalau pakai yang lebih mudah kan daripada langsung ke yang susah :D.

Oke langsung saja kita mulai Cara Install dan Setting Mikrotik di GNS3 menggunakan VirtualBox. tapi sebelumnya, siapkan dulu senjata dan amunisi nya berikut ini :

1. Download GNS3. Silakan download GNS3 v1.2.3 disini (Pada Tutorial ini saya menggunakan GNS3 versi 1.2.3, jika menggunakan versi berbeda mungkin cara dan menu nya juga berbeda) atau bisa langsung download versi terbaru di web nya gns3.com.

2. Download VirtualBox. Silakan download di virtualbox.org.

3. Download image Mikrotik RouterOS di VirtualBox. Silakan sediakan sendiri file image RouterOS dan lisensi nya. Atau kalau tidak punya bisa cari disini.

4. Download Winbox Mikrotik disini.

Setelah senjata dan amunisinya siap, mari kita terjun ke medan perang :D

Langkah-langkah Install GNS3 :

1. Klik kanan pada installer GNS3, Run as Administrator.

2. Klik Next, Next, Accept, Install.

3. Installer akan meminta untuk menginstall WinpCap secara otomatis. Install WinpCap sampai selesai.

4. Installer juga akan minta download dan install Wireshark secara otomatis. Anda bisa cancel proses ini, tapi saya sarankan untuk lanjut install wireshark sampai selesai.

5. Installer kembali meminta download dan install Solarwinds secara otomatis. Anda juga bisa cancel proses ini, tapi saya sarankan untuk lanjut install Solarwinds sampai selesai.

6. Setelah selesai, klik next dan Finish. Akan muncul jendela GNS3 seperti berikut ini.

Langkah-langkah Install Mikrotik di VirtualBox :

1. Install VirtualBox.
2. Tambahkan image RouterOS Mikrotik ke VirtualBox VM. Klik New.

3. Isikan size RAM secukupnya, misalnya 256 MB.

4. Isikan size harddisk secukupnya, misalnya 750 MB.

5. Masukkan file image RouterOS Mikrotik. Klik kanan --> Settings --> Storage --> empty --> Choose a virtual CD/DVD disk file.

6. Pilih file image (iso) RouterOS.

7. Setting Network ke host-only adapter.

8. Start VM nya.
9. Install RouterOS Mikrotik nya. Langkah-langkah nya silakan lihat disini :

Langkah-langkah integrasi Mikrotik VirtualBox VM ke GNS3 :

1. Buka GNS3 --> klik Edit --> Preferences --> VirtualBox --> Cek Path to VBoxManage. Kalo path nya kosong atau ngaco, klik browse untuk nyari file nya.

2. Path yang benar ada di C:\Program Files\Oracle\VirtualBox\VBoxManage.exe
Kalo sudah klik Apply.

3. Masuk ke menu VirtualBox VM --> New --> pilih Mikrotik VM dari VM list --> Finish. Kalo loading list nya lama, cancel aja terus coba lagi.

4. Mikrotik VM akan muncul, kemudian kita bisa rubah simbol Mikrotik nya dengan klik kanan --> Change Symbol --> Pilih Symbol nya --> Ok

5. Kalo sudah, klik OK pada Preferences. Masuk ke lembar kerja. Buka tab yang berisi 4 simbol --> Cari Mikrotik --> Drag and Drop ke lembar kerja.

6. Klik kanan pada Mikrotik --> Configure --> Mikrotik --> tab Network --> Tambahkan Adapter jika perlu. Kita dapat menambahkan jumlah adapter yang akan menambah juga jumlah interface ether di Mikrotik. Klik OK.

7. Sekarang kita bisa masukkan perangkat lain ke lembar kerja. Kemudian hubungkan semua perangkat itu dengan menu add a link.

8. Selanjutnya, nyakalan Mikrotik VM nya --> klik kanan Start.

9. Tampilan jendela VirtualBox Mikrotik VM akan muncul. Silakan login dan setting Mikrotik nya.

10. Saya contohkan untuk menghubungkan Mirkotik dengan PC Client :

IP Address Mikrotik : 10.10.10.1/24
IP Address PC Client : 10.10.10.2/24
IP Gateway PC Client : 10.10.10.1

11. Nyalakan PC client --> klik kanan Start --> Masukkan command untuk menambahkan IP Address & Gateway :

ip 10.10.10.2/24 10.10.10.1

save

12. Coba ping dari PC Client ke gateway dan berhasil. Untuk keluar ketikkan perintah :

disconnect

Oke berhasil. Silakan kembangkan sendiri untuk belajar dengan membuat topologi jaringan sesuai keinginan anda.

How to dual-boot Linux Mint 17 and Windows 8 on a PC with UEFI firmware

This tutorial shows how to dual-boot Linux Mint 17 and Windows 8 on a PC with UEFI firmware. The computer used for the test installation is not an OEM one. Rather, it is a custom-built computer, with an ASRock motherboard and Intel Core i3 processor.

However, if you follow this guide step-by-step, you should be able to use it to dual-boot Linux Mint 17 and Windows 8 on any computer with UEFI firmware on a single hard drive.

Note that this applies to the Linux Mint 17 Cinnamon or MATE editions, not the KDE edition, which uses a slightly different graphical installer. And note also that this guide may also be used to dual-boot Linux Mint 17 and Windows 7 on a computer with UEFI firmware.

Step 1. Shrink Windows 8’s C Drive: Shown in the screenshot below are the existing partitions on the target hard drive after enough space to install Linux Mint 17 had been recovered. If you don’t know how to shrink a Windows partition, see How to resize or shrink a partition or the C drive in Windows 7. The target hard drive used for this tutorial is 500 GB in size, with about half of that recovered for installing Linux Mint 17.

Step 2. Install Linux Mint 17: After Step 1 has been completed, time to install Linux Mint 17. Reboot the computer with the installation media you created in the optical drive or in a USB port. It will boot into the Live desktop. From there, launch the installer by clicking on its icon on the desktop. When the installer starts, click until you get to the step shown in this screenshot. ThisInstallation type step shows available partitioning methods. It will likely inform you that “This computer currently has no detected operating systems. What would you like to do?” Select the Something else option, then click Continue.

That should open the installer’s Advanced Partitioning Tool‘s window. You should see all the partitions on the system, including the space that was recovered from Windows 8. That space should be marked as “free space.” Make a note of the partition marked as type efi. That takes the place of the traditional /boot partition. It will come into play at the end of this step.

To start creating partitions, select the free space, then click on the + button directly below it.

That should open the installer’s partition editor. If you are new to the concept of disk partitions in Linux and creating partitions in Linux Mint 17, it is highly recommended that you read Guide to disks and disk partitions in Linux. For each partition that you’ll create at this step, all you need to modify are the values for “Size,” “Use as” and “Mount point.” And because a few of the partitions needed were already created during the installation of Windows 8, only partitions for / (root), /home and Swap will need to be created for Linux Mint 17 – in that order.

For the root partition, a disk space of 20 GB (20,000 MB) should be more than enough. The recommended minimum for installing Linux Mint 17 is 8.1 GB, so the extra should take care of future growth in disk usage. For file system (Use as), you may select the default (Ext4). Be sure to select / from the “Mount point” menu. OK.

For the /home partition, assign the disk space you think you need and select /home for the mount point. OK.

For the Swap partition, a size of 4 GB (4000 MB) should be enough. From the “Use as” menu, select swap area. OK.

Back to the main partitioning window, you should see all the newly created partitions. Did you notice that we did not create a boot partition? That’s because on these systems, the EFI partition, which on the system used for this tutorial is /dev/sda2, serves as the boot partition. Boot files for GRUB will be installed there. GRUB (the GRand Unified Bootloader) is the boot program used by Linux Mint and virtually all Linux distributions. Before clicking Install Now, change the entry in the “Device for boot loader installation” from /dev/sda to /dev/sda2.

The menu should look like this. Continue with the rest of the installation.

Step 3. Set the Default Boot Manager: After Step 2 has completed successfully, reboot the computer. Before it reboots into the default boot device, press the F key that will take you to the boot menu. For my computer, it is the F11 key. This screenshot shows the entries in the boot menu of the computer used for this tutorial. The AHCI P2: WDC WD5000…entry is for the hard drive used for this installation. The OS entry for Windows 8 is Windows Boot Manager. Somehow, that of Linux Mint 17 isUbuntu. If you select the AHCI P2: WDC WD5000… entry, the computer will not boot. To boot into Linux Mint or Windows 8, select the matching OS entry.

This very bad image, taken with a digital camera, shows the GRUB menu of Linux Mint 17. From there, you can boot into the newly installed OS or Windows 8. Once you’re satisfied that all works as intended, you may then make the entry for Linux Mint 17 the default boot device in the computer’s UEFI setup utility.

Topologi yang paling sederhana. Router A dan Router B direct connect / terhubung langsung via ethernet. Maka pengaturan routing yang perlu ditambahkan sebagai berikut

Cukup mudah bukan??

Sekarang bagaimana kalau router A dan router B tidak bisa direct connect, mungkin harus melewati perangkat lain, misalnya link wireless, atau mungkin tunnel / VPN?.
Contoh berikutnya yaitu topologi 2.

Topologi 2

Disini Router A dan Router B supaya bisa berkomunikasi harus melewati perangkat lain yang melakukan BRIDGING. Pada umumnya, perangkat-perangkat router / wireless bisa melakukan fungsi bridging. Ciri paling mudah mengenali perangkat yang dilewati (dalam contoh ini perangkat wireless) apakah melakukan bridging atau tidak adalah IP Router A, IP wireless router/perangkat lain dan IP Router B memiliki IP segment yang sama (10.10.10.x/24)
Karena Router A dan Router B memiliki IP segment yang sama, maka metode routingnya sama dengan contoh topologi 1. Tinggal disesuaikan IPnya

Dari kedua contoh topologi diatas, mungkin masih terlalu sederhana. Mari kita ulas untuk topologi yang sedikit lebih kompleks.

Topologi 3.

Topologi 3 ini mirip dengan contoh topologi sebelumnya (topologi 2), tetapi untuk topologi 3 ini, perangkat yang menghubungkan antara Router A dan Router B juga menggunakan metode ROUTING. Apakah anda melihat perbedaannya??

Benar sekali, antara router A, wireless Router, dan router B menggunakan IP segment yang berbeda.
Apakah sudah mulai ada bayangan di router mana kita harus membuat membuat tabel routingnya? Jawabannya adalah di keempat router tersebut.

Upgrade GNS3 Gui From Source

Tanpa basa-basi, karena mau ada yang dikerjain, langsung aja to the point.

Jika anda menggunakan GNS3 yang diinstalasi dari source, dan ingin meng-upgrade ke versi yang lebih baru tidak perlu compile ulang, cukup lakukan perintah berikut :

Cek dulu versi terakhir yang tersedia di github nya GNS3 :
https://github.com/GNS3/gns3-gui/releases/latest

Atau dengan perintah :
$ pip search gns3-gui

jika sudah tau versi terakhirnya (misal 1.4.3), mulai proses upgrade :
$ sudo pip3 install gns3-gui==1.4.3 $ sudo pip3 install gns3-server==1.4.3

done..

Rename KVM ID Proxmox

Bismillah..

Hallo, kali ini saya ingin berbagi tentang bagaimana merubah VM ID pada Proxmox v3.1.x
adapun alasan mengapa ID dari suatu VM berubah adalah karena VM tersebut mengalami migrasi dari satu cluster proxmox ke cluster yang lainnya. Langsung saja lihat pembahasannya dibawah ini.

Adapun status VM ID pada awalnya masih tidak beraturan, sepeti gambar berikut..

Job sheet kali ini adalah membuat VM ID agar sesuai dengan identitas node/server proxmox tersebut.

lakukan langkah-langkah sbb :

Shutdown VM tertesebut
Login kepada server proxmox tersebut, atau dengan fasilitas "shell" pada GUI proxmox
Masuk pada direktori /var/lib/vz/images/
# cd /var/lib/vz/images/
Rename direktori VM sesuai dengan ID VM yang baru, pada kasus ini VM 109 akan diubah menjadi 501, maka lakukan rename pada direktori 109 menjadi 501
# mv 109 501
Setelah itu masuk ke direktori 501, ubah dan sesuaikan penamaan virtual disk untuk vm tersebut.
pada kasus ini vm-109-disk-1.raw diubah menjadi vm-501-disk-1.raw, dan
vm-109-disk-2.raw diubah menjadi vm-501-disk-2.raw
Setelah selesai menyesuaikan nama direktori dan vitual disk, langkah selanjutnya adalah mengganti file konfigurasi dari VM tersebut.
Pindah ke direktori /etc/pve/nodes/"NamaServer"/qemu-server/

# cd /etc/pve/nodes/"NamaServer"/qemu-server/
Rename kembali nama konfigurasinya, sesuaikan dengan VM ID yang baru. Pada kasus ini saya me-rename 109.conf menjadi 501.conf

# mv 109.conf 501.conf
Setelah selesai mengubah nama konfigurasinya, tahapan selanjutnya adalah mengubah isi konfigurasi tersebut, dengan menggunakan editor "nano" buka file 501.conf

# nano 501.conf
Sesuaikan beberapa paramater yang ada, lihat gambar dibawah :
Selesai, lakukan untuk setiap VM yang ingin diubah, dan lihat hasilnya..
