Isn't it nice to finally put down thick coats and just go out in a blazer with some summerish sneakers? I'd say it's awesome! And I did exactly that. I just love this warmer weather and I hope the cold and snow will stay far away till the next winter. This was my outfit for a casual day mostly spent at my new home, doing groceries and cooking lunch for a friend PIA (which we ended with some fabulous home-made mojitos - photos coming later). So my weekend started early, I guess, I hope it will continue to be as awesome as it was today.

Yes, it's true, I'm finally moved in! I've been here since Sunday and I just love it. If you saw the empty place, you are probably very curious how it all looks now, with all of my junk in place, so I took some time to take some pictures and my current temporary internet connection took even more time to upload everything here. So, now, finally, some close-ups of my "absolutely-not-finished-yet" apartment!

Why are heels such a fascination for women?

I'm probably, most definitely, not the only one who adores seeing a pair of extremely high and fabulous heels. I admit, I love seeing them on the shelf, walking on the street, in the stores, I'm a true believer in wearing high heels (the higher the better - kitten heels for me doesn't even count as a heel) and I admire every one who does it on a daily basis.

(H&M, Buffalo, Cinti, Missguided, Dorothy Perkins)

I'm basically obsessed with buying them, but when it comes to the wearing part, I become hesitant. It looks so simple, yet in reality it is quite difficult. I would love to believe everyone who says that you just have to find the right pair and the pain disappear, but I just cant. I tried too many of them to know better. Wearing heels is a pain in the ass. Not at first but after a while your legs become numb. And despite all that, I still cant resist them. What's the appeal of that particular pain? Is looking sexy and feminine really worth all that? So I decided to test myself once again. Usually I wear heels only on special occasions, like going clubbing, and even then always bringing a pair of flat shoes with me for just in case, which in reality I spent most of the night in, unless I'm really drunk. But this time I gathered the courage and went to classes in my new "not so high heel" pair of ankle boots. To test my stubbornness I also didn't took any spare shoes with me.

And the results? Been on a bus, got to the college, spent 4 hours there sitting and then went out with a friend and walked around city like any normal day. All together, I had heels on for 8 hours. And I felt pretty darn awesome. It didn't even hurt that much like I expected. My theory? Partly overruled. Yes, you can spent a whole day in heels, but probably not really on an everyday basis. Unless you own a car and you sit in the office most of the time. Or you're a celebrity. The Conclusion? Since I'm not any of the above (yet), I'll stick to my lovely sneakers and flats for everyday life. It's fun to wear heels, every now and then, but in the end, I'm still a girl who prefer to stay grounded. So I guess a mystery of suffering in heels will probably never be solved completely.

I admit, I was a bit lazy with dressing up lately, actually last few months to be honest. The truth is, I really don't like this weather and that's why my closet isn't that big on warm stylish clothes either.
So I developed like an "uniform" which consists of leggings, Adidas hi-tops, T-shirt and warm cardigan. I just hope the temperatures will raise soon and I can get back to my favorite clothes that aren't hidden under all that layers of cardigans and scarves...

Summer, please come back ASAP!

Yesterday was my first school day again in this semester (Bleh) and also the day Slovenian bloggers got together again! (Yay!) Found a small bar in town center and ramble about pretty much everything. It was nice night and great to see everyone again in person. Just a few (not very good) photos of the evening, actually just the moment when everyone took out their cameras and we all got blinded with flashes. I guess that's how it looks when celebrity arrives somewhere. haha

Yes, I always loved Zara, but not like that. I literally love almost every piece of the new collection.All the long, asymmetrical, colorful, black, white, sparkled, spiked, dresses, blouses, shoes, skirts and bags. When I entered the store, the clothes left me speechless. I wanted to just take out my credit card and buy everything at once. Unfortunately, I'm not that wealthy (beside I have to save for London trip), so piece by piece, I hope these lovelies will be mine in future.

The day was pretty much spent in the "writing rhetoric essay " spirit, when actually it was supposed to be much more fun and different, but it ended just as one of yet another ~~classic Valentine days of mine~~. Scratch that, I'm going out now! :)

Not that I give a crap about them in general, it ~~was~~ is just nice to have plans once for a change. Whatever. At least I did something useful, so I could be done with this exams as soon as possible. Just two days left and I'll finally be able to enjoy this beautiful sun outside, not that I'm particularly enjoying the cold part of it...

Despite the cold, I'm insisting on leggings and dresses. I find them much warmer than the actual pants. And not to mention, much more fun to style. Today I went for a laid down, comfy look, since I had an exam in the morning at the most inhumane hour. I'm wondering how I used to get up at 6 o'clock in the morning, every day in high school. But enough with my complaining.
Beside the exam, I had a wonderful day. Went to lunch, coffee and had an awesome time with my favorite people and just enjoyed myself, pretty much. I probably had caught a terrible cold doing it, but it was worth it.

New in: Few little things

Yea yea, I promised myself no shopping till London, but c'mon, you know I can't resist sales.
Actually went to the stores with intention to buy totally different things, but I ended up with these instead. Bought a dress in Zara (that here looks a lot like the dress from Topshop - the one in my last outfit post, but it's not the same, at all!), the aviator sunglasses I wanted for a long time, because the previous ones broke, and these little cute stud earrings in H&M.

Since we have national cultural holiday (which means free day - yaaay!) and outside is cold like Siberia, I'm planning to stay home, near the radiator for a whole day.

Since I spent the weekend inside rather than outside, the cold today was quite a shock for me. Through the window everything looks just like the scene from some magical movie or fairytale, and then the step through the doors ruins everything and puts you again in the real, cruel, cold world. Luckily, I haven't spent that much time outside, but still. Just a step outside makes you defrost for another half an hour!
I don't remember having that much layers on, since... forever! Three undershirts, dress, two layers of leggings, three pairs of socks, two cardigans, coat, scarf... And I was still freezing! Unbelievable. Well, here's how it looked without ten extra layers of cardigans and scarfs...

Studying today just isn't on my menu, but let's be honest, when is it, really. Instead, I did a little window online shopping, drooling actually, on stores like Topshop, River Island, Zara... I know it's a bit early to do the shopping list for London already, but I'm gonna start doing it anyways.
And let me tell you... The list is already much much longer than this Polyvore set I created. I'm coming home flat broke, already know that... Oh, can't wait, only 2 months left!

A week ago, while I was watching FleurdeForces channel on Youtube (actually it was her What's in my bag video, I think), she showed her business cards by MOO, I decided to do them myself too. And guess what, they have already arrived! The package was super adorable and they're super cute too! Designed them myself and I'm very pleased with results. It was about time that I switch from my amateur ones I had done ages ago.
