*A little Backgorund about the Municipality where "Dahilayan Forest Park Resort" is Located:

Manolo Fortich is situated in the northern part of the Province of Bukidnon. It is about 40 minutes away from the bustling commercial center of Cagayan de Oro City. It is bounded in the north by Cagayan de Oro City, Misamis Oriental, and the Municipality of Malitbog. In the east by the Municipality of Sumilao, in the west by the Municipality of Libona and Baungon and in the south by the rugged ranges ofMount Kitanglad.

It is said to be the 1st class Municipality in the province of Bukidnon, Philippines. It has a total area of 506.64 square kilometers (195.61 sq. mi), accounting 6.1% of the total land area of the province of Bukidnon. According to the 2015 census, it has a population of 100,210 people.

Manolo Fortich used to be known as Maluko; it was renamed in 1957. Maluko also happens to be the name of one of the municipality's barangay and was governed by Santiago Mambinonsad who was appointed as Alcalde de Barrio from 1922 to 1924. It was during the term of Ciriaco Asilan as Presidente del Barrio from 1926 to 1928, that the seat of government was transferred in Tankulan, which became the permanent seat of Municipal Government. Mayor Mateo Gumaling, was the first appointed mayor of Manolo Fortich and in 1940 Margarito Cabang became the first elected Mayor. On August 16, 2018, Representative Maria Lourdes Acosta-Alba of Bukidnon's First District filed House Bill 8115, which aims for the cityhood of Manolo Fortich as a component city

The "Dahilayan Forest Park" is located in the municipality. The park is popular for its single and dual zip-lines, drop zones, Sky Tower Base Jump (the highest of its kind in the country), "Python Roller Zipride" (the first of its kind in Asia) and the "Flying Lizard" canopy glider. The park's dual zipline has 840 meters in length making it Asia's longest dual zip-line. Aside from that, it also has an obstacle part, where you can climb, jump etc, to finish the task, a buggy ride, an atv car, bump cars, and my favorite, a race car. Outdoor Activities that ALL AGES can enjoy, make the resort the Ultimate Family Playground. Besides all the rides and amusements; the Park also has very nice Restaurant and Cafeteria, where you can enjoy your hearty meals or enjoy the crisp mountain weather with some drinks by the fireplace at Grizzly Bar. Plus, nice park with fishes and animals, nice Pine Trees to took pictures, a Souvenir Shop, a nice Hotel with Indoor Pool and many more. The Scenic views, ponds, lagoons and a picnic area are breathtaking.

I show you stuff that we did the last time we went there with close friends last 2015. here's some of the photos the we rode on Buggy... It's really fun and exciting.

These are some of the Rides that you can try yourself or along with friends... zipline, bungee jumping, Atv, outside the park; you can ride a horse too and lot more....

The Station where you can ride a Big Ball they called it Zorbit, shown in the second photo..orange one.. they gonna roll that over down to the edge while you;re inside. they put you on a safety gear, a harness, a knee pad, gloves and helmet. We never tried it but it looks really fun.

this is the Park where there are lots of Animal statues and pine trees... looks very nice and clean. there's tables and chairs too for picnics and gatherings. btw, that's where we had our breakfast.

that's one of Dahilayan's Hotels. Looks very nice and expensive. We didn't book in there cause it's over budget. we took the dormitory one type instead cause we're too many too.. it's nice to stay in the same room.. The more the merrier.

This is the room I am talking about, i't's nice and clean as well. the bed is comfy and soft.

Me and my best travel buddies.. Oh, I missed travelling with them. and of course I missed them, miss their company and the things we did together.

Sleeping Dragon of the South

These photo was taken at Mati, Davao Oriental. This view is one of the best scenery I've seen in that place aside from the their beaches/resorts that captured the hearts of many people and ofcourse Foreign tourist and even locals. This view as many people says or how locals called it "A Sleeping Dragon" because it looks like literally a sleeping dragon. Who can't recognized such beauty. This view is breath taking. You can stop and see it's magnificent beauty cause it's just a long side of the road. It's safe too cause it has a cement barricade that you can sit on or step on and took a snap. What a nice view.

Mati, Davao Oriental is located in the Southern part of Davao City. I guess about 4 and a half hours travel. When you get the city proper I think you need to travel more 30 to an hour, just guessing. I don't remember how you get there actually cause we have our own car. I guess you can ride a motorcycle or a cab to get there cause it's far. Haven't seen public transpo like bus or jeepney in there.

This photos were taken at Amihan sa Dahica located at Mati, Davao Oriental a few months ago when I had my summer vacation this year. <3 <3

I wake up around 4 o'clock in the morning just to capture the beautiful Sunrise and indeed, i took a very nice view of it. Waking early in the morning pays of. I always love Sunrise and Sunset cause it always gives you a promise of a new day, a new beginning.

Seeing those photos reminds me of how amazing God created such beauty. It inspires me to wake up in the morning cause you know, something somehow there's one thing you should look forward too.

Another thing is, my passion for photography is also awaken, not only seeing beauty from it but seeing or looking at it in another perspective. A promise of a new start and a new beginning. It can be a new life's journey or a career path. Accentuate positive vibes. :-)

Me and my bffs decided to go to a private resort located at Malipano Island, Garden of Samal owned by a friend. The place is very perfect. The ambiance, the feel, the serenity it gaves me, hmmp nothing i could ask more. It is very peaceful and of course the very nice scenery. I can live here forever.hahahah

These are the photos I took during our stay here. What a lovely beach escapes...

The Island accommodates 15-30 pax only.. free usage of facilities and you owned the the Island.isn't it great?? You can relax totally away from the buzzle and hassles of the city. Stress free and worry free. We stayed here over night. We go there saturday morning then go home sunday afternoon. It's only 1hr and a half from Davao. We just take a boat ride to go there. Oh, i love beaches especially the sound of the waves, the white sand, the salty taste water and the clear water. Oh, how it amazes me.

Our Cebu Escapade 2012:

Cebu City is called a Queen City of the South, where SINULOG is held evey January. This is where my grandparents folks situated, particularly in Daan Bantayan. Then they migrated in Davao on the year 1950's. My mother was born and raised in Maco Davao, del Norte now, Davao de Oro formerly ComVal. My grandma used to tell stories about her experiences, how their life in Cebu and how she got in Davao. She said, when she was a teenager (12y.o), she used to visit some relatives or some close relatives bring her to Davao or different places to help harvest crops. Then when she's 18, she studied how to saw pants, and the rest are history. Before she was paralyzed Grandma and Mom used to come and visit their hometown. When my grandfather died and my grandmother got sick and was paralyze. She never got the chance to visit again. Then my parents got married and settled down in Davao, so we (me and my brother) never had the chanced to come and visit the place and meet our relatives that still lives in Cebu.

To cute the story short, It's my first time to come to Cebu. I am very excited because I really wanna go to Cebu especially the Sto. NINO Church and the Magellan's Cross and see the City where my grandparents used to live. Never would I expect that, finally it will happen. I keep on watching flights cause i really love to travel, go see places and experience flying (first time flying/riding a plane too). I've been checking a promo fare since christmas and never got any, so I waited and finally on February when I checked the website for a nice schedule and flight hours and seen a promo, it was a Piso fare..Lucky me... the site is Cebu Pacific by the way. Without any doubts and second thought I availed the promo and booked it right away. The flight sched is on March which is fine. I booked a flight for two. (Me and my bf) I was so excited because at last I had the chance to fly in Cebu City and travel alone.. exciting!

Last March 3 is our flight, Saturday at around 7 o'clock pm. From F. Bangoy Airport, Davao City and arrived at the Mactan Airport, Cebu around 8 o'clock pm. Just 1hr flight, not bad at all. We will be staying there for 4 days... March 3 to 6.

I booked our stay at YMCA Hotel for 3days and 3 nights.

1st day: We wake up around 7 o'clock in the morning, prepare ourselves then had our breakfast at YMCA restaurant cause they offer free breakfast which is a good deal, in that way, we can save a little bit. Then we decided to go to Sto. Nino Church to attend Mass since it's Sunday. And oh noh, there's tons of people over there. They held the Mass outside the Cathedral to accomodate all the people. After that, we lite candles to gave grace and gave thanks. Then went to see the Magellan's Cross after the Mass. Magellan's cross is just next to the church. Then in the afternoon, we just stroll around and too pictures again. Had our supper at the ...... restaurant closer to Mgallanes or Magsaysay Park, just a walking distance to our Hotel. Then stroll and take pictures in the park then go back to the hotel and rest. I never thought that Cebu would make me feel very homey and comfortable.. The place is so nice and clean. Tons of jeepneys too just like Davao as usual. People speaks Visaya too. One thing I've noticed is that, there's a lot of Koreans in there.. literally like you can see them anywhere.

I wish we went to Cebu on January cause the Sinulog Festival is held every January which is also their Fiesta. Sto. NINOS Fiesta. This photo was taken outside the Magellan's Cross at the background is the bell.

Wishing Well

This photo is taken inside the Cathedral of Sto. Nino. Or Sto. Nino Church. You are allowed to stroll and took pictures but without flash and stay quiet. There's a big WISHING WELL inside where I have my photo taken. It's very huge. You can toss a coin and wish all you want.

2nd day: we decided to go to Ayala Center Mall. We took jeepney going there so we kinda see the place and look at everything we passed by to get familiarize. When we got to Mall, we just stroll around, take photos then eat lunch. We decided to go to the Polian Temple and Chinese Temple. It's over looking, where you can see the Cebu City land area from there. Temple too that same afternoon. It's a long travel though I guess cause i'ts further away from the City and you still need to climb up the hill. No jeepney can go in there... but when we got to the place, the view is breathtaking. Very calm and peaceful. You need to walk many steps i guess a thousand steps before you each the top. You can see the whole city too when you're up there. It's a really great experience. Then we went to a souvenir/giftshop or pasalubong Store and we bought snacks which is Cebu's best delicacies such as Peanut Kisses, Dried mangoes, Piyaya and Otap for Pasalubong to family and friends then we had dinner at Chow King Restaurant.

3rd day: We just get ready. We packed our luggage last night so it's ready for tomorrow. We wake up at around 5 am, checkout and go to the Airport and be ready to go home cause our flight that day is scheduked at 7 o'clock am from the Hotel, we went directly to Mactan International Airport Cebu going to F. Bangoy International Airport Davao. We just have breakfast in the airport. Our Hotel is only 25 mins away from the airport by the way. Our airbus/fight 5J... CebuPacific Aircraft around. The gate opens at 6: 25 oclock in the morning and take off around 7 o'clock. Bye Cebu, till next time...Davao City here we come.. back to reality again. Oh, btw, I didn't get the chance to visit some relatives in daanbaantayan cause I didn't contact anyone of them and I didn't know the exact location. All I know is the name of the town. Maybe, hopefully someday....

Just arrived at F. BANGOY, Davao Internation Airport.. Happy and content, it's very fulfilling and all worth it even in just a short period of time. Our or me, particularly, experience overwhelming happiness and satisfaction. We really had fun....

The Mantaga Adventure Divers took a break from exploring the cave of Hinatuan Enchanted River and took the time to enjoy the prolific fish life that abounds in the spring. Fish seen in the area are snappers, scat fish, rabbitfish, butterfly fish, pajama fish, banner fish, and wrasses. A strong, steady flow of fresh water comes from the cave. During high tide the sea water flows in to mix with the fresh water. The fish are acclimatized to the lower salt content of this enchanting place.Visibility in the area is extremely good and it feels like one is diving or swimming inside an aquarium. Noted also is thermal activity in one spot--- that means hot spring!

If you are an Animal lover, you can visit crocodile Park located at Davao City particularly at Bajada.. you can see a lot of birds with different kinds (eagle, parrot, cockatoo, ostrich, peacock, etc.) You can also see reptiles like crocodile, snakes (python and albino snake). There's also monkeys and urangutan, tiger, and turtles... They have bird shows every Saturdays and crocodile shows I think every thursday.

Tinuy-an Falls, Barobo

Tinuy-an Falls is the only waterfalls located in Surigao del Sur. You have to travel 6-7 hrs from Davao City before you reached the place. it's really a long long trip but it's really worth it.

Oh! I really love the clear cold water and it's freshness and the place? it's very clean! You can explore it by climbing 200 ft from below and then from there, you can see all the waterfalls down there beyond your reach and it's to overwhelming and it's very relaxing and refreshing.. It can really be fascinating..

I really love PHOTOGRAPHY and to TRAVEL like goin' into places I never been to. I want to explore and have fun and Beaches is one of my favorite place to unwind and relax. For me, photography: Is capturing moments and events in my own lens and put it into tangible things and these is one of the places I already visited:

It is Located at Hinatuan, Surigao del Sur at it is called Enchanted River because it brings enchantment to those people who wants to visit the place..as we can see, the water was too clear and fresh.. It is a river but the color never speak for it self. Due to it's dark blue colored water and it really taste salty. Every 12 in the afternoon. All swimmers should come out from the water to watch the feeding frenzy.. You never thought are are many fishes living below.
