Kinda cool to have gotten this lil coupe for my personal ride! Need to fix a few things, like the wheelbase being stretched out 119”, so that was the first thing I wanted to correct! It’s now 109”, mock up engine is in, gotta make the engine mounts, shock and headlight mounts... Plenty of late nights ahead, before March 15th, which I’ll be driving it to Run to the Sun, Myrtle Beach!

‘31 Ford Coupe Build

So the story goes, my good friend Alan calls me and tells me he wants to build a ‘31 Ford Coupe on a ‘32 chassis..... He had already contracted Black Board Hot Rods to build the chassis. When the chassis arrives, Alan purchased this ‘31 Ford and as it delivered to my shop... So now begins a fun filled journey of upsetting the purest, and making the hot rodders happy! Chopping the top, and setting it on the new chassis, along with a ‘32 grill shell, and a V8 drivetrain... Hope y’all enjoy watching this build come to life, as I enjoy cutting up this coolio lil Coupe! Tim

Jennifer (Wife) as owned this lil '32 prize since she was 4 years old. Her Dad (Charlie) bought way back when and drove it all over the country with a small trailer behind it, hell even heard stories of pulling others cars through the mountains....lol! Jenn and I began rebuilding this car some years ago, with the start of just some frame rails, that I build into a rolling chassis, and fabricated a 16g firewall and floors all the way back. To date 2018, we are going to jump back on the build and see about getting it finished... I'll be posting more pics as we progress... Enjoy! Tim

Work on re-mounting the headlight/shock mounts, and installed the commercial big lights. Also bare metal finished the hood, and used some Gibbs oil to help protect it.
