Kangana Ranaut Gets R**pe Threat

According to a news report on Dainik Bhasker an Odissa Lawyer gave r*pe threats to Kangana Ranaut on her Navratri twitter post. The lawyer commented on her post and said that she should be r*ped in mid town.

This threat was given on the twitter post that Kangana Ranaut had shared of her celebrations on the first day of Navartari at her home in Manali, where she posted some pictures of herself.

Advocate Mehendi Reza is the lawyer from Odissa who made this threat and soon after the users trolled him on social media. According to reports, there has also been a complaint filed against him.

The Mysterious Death of Actor Sushant Singh Rajput

Actor Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead in his apartment on 14th June 2020 by his flatmates and cook who were residing along with him at the time. At that time, his death was reported as a case of alleged suicide by people who discovered his body and also by the Bandra Police who came to investigate and transport the body to the hospital.

Now, the main people who were residing with him at the time in the flat were; Sidharth Pithani, Neeraj, Keshav & Dipesh Sawant. The story given by these people as to the sequence of events leading to the discovery of his death is as follows:

On 13th June, night prior to his death, Sushant retired to his room after dinner. In the morning of 14 June, he spoke to his sister over the telephone at around 9 a.m. and an hour later he had a glass of juice and his tablets. At around 11:30 a.m., his cook knocked several times on the door of his room, to confirm the menu for the day. He and Rajput's friends received no response. They then called a key-maker to open the door, following which they called Rajput's sister and the police. He was found hanging from the ceiling fan. But they did not find any suicide note in the room. According to a Times Now report, some medical papers and anti-depressant pills were also found in his house.

After the police arrived at the scene, the ambulance was called to take the body. However, from here on many suspicious activities happened at the crime scene, that demand an explanation and need to be investigated thoroughly. For one, apparently there were two ambulances that landed up at the scene, out of which, one ambulance was sent back empty. There are also reports going around in the social media of there being two bodies discovered at the scene, and that the two bodies were loaded together on the stretcher and put in the ambulance. The identification of the second body is still a mystery and no confirmatory news regarding this has come out in the official media as of now. Stories of a minor girl are being circulated. So were there two deaths? Double murder? Well, the murder charge is still also not officially declared by any investigating authority.

Ok, so when the body was found, an allegedly close friend of Sushant Singh Rajput, namely Sandeep Singh landed up at the premises and started taking care of everything. He also met with Meetu (Sushant's Sister) who was called by Sidharth Pithani and stayed close to her all the way till the hospital where the body was taken in the ambulance. Initially, the ambulance driver was going to take the body to Leelavati Hospital which is closer to the residence, but someone instructed them to take the body to Cooper Hospital.

At the hospital, it appears (according to pictures and videos that were taken at the scene and reported in the media, that there were two stretchers that were taken out of the ambulance. Thereafter, apparently, the doctors at the Cooper hospital performed an autopsy late at night in poor light. The post martem report declared the death as "death due to asphyxiation due to hanging" and No time of death was mentioned. The next day, early morning his body was taken to the cremation site and cremated in a hurry. There, Sidharth Pithani apparently took hundreds of photos of the entire cremation. However, he had not taken a single photo after having discovered Sushant Singh in his room, allegedly where he had been found hanging from the ceiling fan.

The other suspicious activities that happened on 14th June at the crime scene, was the presence of a mysterious girl who is seen entering the premises from the main gate in full sight of police personnel and she was then handed a black bag by one of the persons who was present in the room where the police were taking note of the crime scene. This man is also seen in the video clearly wearing black shirt and a pink cap on his head. Who was this mysterious girl? And what was in the bag that was handed to her?

Apart from these characters, is Sushant Singh Rajput's girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty who was living with him for the past few months and her brother Showik Chakraborty who are involved in the mystery surrounding his death. Rhea was also seen leaving the mortuary at Cooper Hospital in the company of some other people. Why did she go there? And what did she do, while she was there? Why was she allowed to enter the mortuary where only Family members are generally allowed, and that too after permission from proper authorities.

After Mumbai Police took over the investigation of the case, they hurriedly declared it as a suicide on the same day. The Home Minister & Chief Minister also declared it as a suicide in a press conference and were in a great hurry to close the case. However, after a month or so, when the case refused to die down, due to interest taken by the common people on social media, who continued raising suspicions about the mysterious circumstances of his death, and demanded a serious probe into the matter.

Kangana Ranaut a leading actress of Bollywood also raised pertinent questions in a media channel and gave some eye opening insights into various aspects of life of a new comer in Bollywood and how they are bullied and pushed around. She also raised serious concerns about the trend of nepotism coming to the fore which targeted the top producers, directors & leading families in the industry. She also highlighted the drug problem that is prevalent in the industry. This fact came out when media discovered that Rhea was procuring drugs and something was administered to Sushant in his coffee or tea in the form of drops, as advised by Rhea's Manager, who was also supplying drugs to her on a regular basis.

This whole case then took several turns and was handed over to the CBI for further investigation. In addition, the NCB and ED also joined the investigation to look into other aspects of the case of money laundering and drugs.

In the last 4 months, several facts have been uncovered with respect to the case and a few drug paddlers have been arrested. Rhea was also arrested on a drug charge, but later she got bail.

Kangana Slams Mumbai Police for Illegal Detention of Pradeep Bhandari

Actress Kangana Ranaut slammed the Mumbai Police and the Maharashtra Govt for the illegal detention of Pradeep Bhandari, a Consulting Editor of Republic Network Channel. Kangana took to twitter to voice out her concerns and called out the Mumbai Police "for creating an embarrassing situation for themselves & making the nation ashamed."

On Saturday, Pradeep Bhandari a Consulting Editor of the Republic Network Channel was summoned by the Mumbai Police to the Khar Police station. He landed up at the station around noon, having come from Bihar. High drama played out in the evening on the sets of Arnab Goswami show as he covered the happenings Live on his show, from outside the Khar Police station where Pradeep Bhandari was held for more than 9 hours in custody by the police, illegally. He had earlier been granted an anticipatory bail for the same issue by the High Court. However, the Police showed total disregard for the fact and surrounded him at the station, and put him in a room where he was interrogated for 9 hours, without food and water, as per the reports. He was not allowed to call a lawyer, or anyone else, in fact, all his phones were also seized and handed over to the IT team.

It was much later, when the entire team of reporters from Republic Channel entered the Police station and started questioning the Police, about their actions prompted by Arnab Goswami. His persistence paid off, in the end, as Pradeep Bhandari was finally let off and he relayed all that had happened to him to Arnab Goswami on the live show.

According to report by Republic Network, "Alleging that Bhandari pushed cops while he was reporting on BMC's demolition of actress Kangana Ranaut's office at Bandra on September 9, Mumbai Police on Saturday evening, detained Republic Consulting editor Pradeep Bhandari when he presented himself at the Khar police station. This move comes inspite of Bhandari being granted anticipatory bail by a Mumbai court. They filed a complaint against Bhandari - under Articles 188 - (Disobedience to order duly promulgated by public servant), 353 (Assault or criminal force to deter public servant from discharge of his duty) of IPC and 37(1), 135 of the Bombay Police Act."

There was a massive uproar from the people across the country.

"I felt I lived in a democracy in Maharashtra, but I got to see true fascism today. The way they detained me undemocratically, they tried to arrest me, they tried to physically assault me. Under the name of summons, they tried to interrogate me in custody. All my phones have been seized. when I asked why are you seizing my phones, then they said that 'they got a call from top people'. The more you try to harass Republic, we will speak the truth louder," said Bhandari.

On the first day of Navratri, actress Kangana Ranaut shared some selfies of her celebrations at her home in Manali on Twitter also stating that she is fasting. The Hindu festival of Navratri began on Saturday 17th October and will last till the 25th October, Sunday. "Who all are fasting on Navratri?" She tweeted as she shared her beautiful pictures of herself dressed in traditional Indian attire. In her message to her fans, she urged them to "enhance our energy system".

She tweeted, "Shiva is absolute nothingness Shakti is the play of energy which means Shakti is everything #navratri has tremendous possibilities, let's work on enhancing our energy system #Navratri2020."

She had been in the limelight recently for getting into a battle of words with the Maharashtra Govt, specifically with Sanjay Raut, who then made her the target of his fury by bulldozing her Office building in Mumbai. The matter ended up in the High Court, and is still subjudice. However, Kangana has been tweeting constantly in support of the Sushant Singh Rajput Warriors who are fighting for justice in his death case. Meanwhile, another FIR has been registered against her, she says. "Pappu Sena in Maharashtra seems to be obsessing over me, don't miss me so much I will be there soon." She taunted.

Meanwhile, Kangana is busy training for her upcoming action film "Tejas" where she plays a "Fauji" Indian Airforce Pilot and also for the role of a spy in the second film "Dhaakad". She shared a video where she is seen performing boxing, handstands and kicking exercises with her trainer in Manali.

She tweeted, "Bollywood ki thali may have given me a lot but post Manikanika success I too have given Bollywood it's first ever legitimate action Heroine. ❤️"

Finally the day has come when Kareena Kapoor will tie the knot with the Chotte Nawab, Saif Ali Khan. Today the wedding ceremony is to take place in a private and quiet affair at Saif's residence in suburban Bandra. According to news reports, it will be a registered marriage that will take place between 11.30 am and 12 pm at Fortune Heights in Bandra. This was confirmed by a statement from the marriage registrar, Surekha Ramesh.

“The notice had been submitted on September 12 and that they had requested that the registry be held at their residence. For the formalities, we will charge Rs 1,000,” she said.

Ranbir Kapoor Starrer Barfi Entry to Oscars

Ranbir Kapoor's latest bollywood movie, Barfi has joined the Box Office Hits as it raked in more than Rs 100 crores. The movie also got nominated for the Oscars in the Foreign Films Category, rather, it is the official entry for Oscars in 2013. The movie was released just two weeks ago and is already raking in the mullah. It managed to beat 19 other movies to be named India's entry in the 'Best Foreign Language Film' category at the Oscars in February next year.

The Bitter Truth about Barfi

Before the release of the film in theaters, it had landed in a legal trouble over a song in the movie. The movie will face a legal battle against the Mumbai based company, Murphy Enterprises, who sent the legal notice to the makers of the film. Apparently, the company has objections over the use of the word "Murphy" in the song, which is the copyright of the company and no permission was taken by the makers of the film to use the word and also the "baby" in the poster ads of Murphy Radio that was showcased in the movie.

For whom the bells toll! The much talked about Bollywood couple, Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan (who have been dating for the past 5 years) have finally managed to get their wedding date fixed after lots of delays and speculations . The D-day is on the 16th of October 2012 and the reception will be held two days later, both are busy getting ready for the wedding ceremonies that will be held at the ancestral Palace in Pataudi, which is being run as a Hotel, but has put all its bookings on hold as it is being renovated for the wedding.

Apparently, Sharmila Tagore, has been visiting the mansion regularly for the last one month. Kareena Kapoor had fallen for the Chotte Nawab (Saif) soon after her fallout with Shahid Kapoor, with whom she had had a relationship. This happened on the sets while shooting for the movie Tashan in Ladhak. Apparently she saw Saif near the hotel pool tanning himself, clad just in a pair of jeans and said, "Oh my God... he's so hot!"

Since then they have been a real hot couple seen with each other everywhere, all functions and apparently she had even moved to live in his house. Their impending wedding has been the talk of town for quite a while now...so much so, that we wish they would just get it done with already!

Preparations for the wedding are in full swing, and it is reported that veteran designer Ritu Kumar, a favourite with the Pataudis, has been roped in to recreate her mother-in-law's bridal attire for the big day. The traditional joda had been worn by Begum Sajida Sultan of Bhopal for her own wedding in the year 1939, that was then gifted to her daughter-in-law, Sharmila Tagore to wear on her wedding. It has taken Ritu Kumar four months to recreate this antique heirloom made of rust and gold tissue contrasting with green satin and gota border and comprises of a kurta, farshi paijama and dupatta, using gold Benaras fabric in the likeness of the original ensemble. The kurta consists of decorative zardosi on the border and necklines.

There are also various rumors and reports that Mum Sharmila Tagore has already started distributing the invitation cards for the wedding. She recently also sent an invite to the President, Mr Pranab Mukherji. "Veteran actress Sharmila Tagore today extended an invitation to President Pranab Mukherjee for the forthcoming wedding of her son, actor Saif Ali Khan with actress Kareena Kapoor." However, according to sources, the President is not likely to attend the wedding ceremony.

The latest buzz on Kareena-Saif’s wedding jewellery is that she has ordered a royal piece of jewellery worth around Rs 40 lakh. Well, afterall, she is going to be a part of the "Royal" family soon isnt it? So everything HAS to be done in a very "Royal" and traditional fashion. Sridevi has made a comeback to the silver screen after a long gap of 15 years with the movie "English Vinglish". She doesn't like the word "comeback" but loves to continue with her acting career and insists that she is in a position to choose scripts. The film English Vinglish has been directed by Gauri Shinde. The last film that this 49-year old actress acted in was - Judaii.

"The script of Shinde's debut film attracted her, she says. “If had got this movie five or ten years ago, I would have (still) done it. This movie also looks very promising, with a good script that I am sure will prove to be a box office.

The song "Why this Kolaveri Di" sung by the Tamil actor Dhanush for his upcoming movie 3 suddenly became a huge hit on the internet and elsewhere, especially among the youth making it viral. The song was leaked on the net and as a result was officially released as a single track that created quite a stir with people talking about it and sharing it on all social mediums. Can you imagine that a nonsensical song like this captured the imagination of the nation and garnered more than 11 million views on Youtube? This is now the question that is being asked everywhere - Why This Kolaveri Di?

According to a news site, "Kolaveri Di' means murderous rage and now it is popular even in other parts of the country. It is actually used to put off a cranky person in a group. The slang has been used by the makers of '3' to depict the anguish of a person who has just tasted rejection from the hands of a girl whom he liked."

The song has become a hit among the millions of students and youngsters who hang around the various college campuses in Tamil Nadu and has gone viral on social networking sites like Facebook, Twitter and the video sharing Youtube.

The song has created quite a stir, no doubt, some for the right reasons and some for the wrong reasons. For example, while certain top movie stars like Abhishek Bachchan and Rajnikanth went gaga over the song there were others like the lyricist, poet and scriptwriter - Javed Akhtar who is not impressed with it and tweeted the following, "KOLAVARI-D". Every one is praising the robes but the emporer is naked. Tune ordinary ,singing substandard.words an insult to sensibility.(sic)".

Another Bangladeshi author also shared similar sentiments and tweeted, "Why does da stupid thingy Kolaveri di bcm popular in India,a country rich in its musical heritage?Anarchism or the hidden hippies coming out.(sic)"

I must say that I agree with his sentiments, specially after listening to the melodious tunes of Dev Anand songs a day after his sad demise, this particular song would have made anyone turn in his grave. I wonder if poor Dev Saab was the victim of this song, as a person of his caliber and the music that he has given us, it would definitely have given him a cardiac arrest.

I really can't fathom what's so great about this song other than the fact that it's got a catchy tune. Is that all that's really required to make a song popular these days? I am begining to think that people don't actually listen to the lyrics of a song anymore, which is kind of sad!

A Tribute to DEV ANAND - The Evergreen Romantic Hero of Indian Cinema

DEV ANAND was undoubtedly and unarguably the epitome of romance in Indian cinema who became - a legend and a star with great zest for life and cinema. Who can ever forget him? Dev Anand breathed his last yesterday morning at a hotel in London where he had gone for a short holiday with his family. He suffered a cardiac arrest in his sleep in the wee hours of the morning and quietly passed away. He was 88.

The name Dev Anand always brings to mind all the romantic songs of the era and I consider myself fortunate to have been a part of that era of romance. We grew up humming the melodious songs of his films that were full of promise, life and hope. I have watched most of his films and loved his unique style of swagger and acting. There was always something that we could carry away with us in all his films.

Recently, one of his old time hits "Hum Dono" was released in color in all the theaters and I couldn't resist the urge to go watch the film. I dragged my husband (who likes fast action films mostly) to a late night show of the film and enjoyed every bit of it! The opening song "Abhi na Jao Chodkar" has always been a personal favorite and watching it in color (beauty of Sadhana and Dev Anand) set the mood for the rest of the movie. Although it seemed a little slow as compared to the fast paced movies of today's generation, it was still a treat to sit back and enjoy the songs and see Dev Anand in a double role on the silver screen after ages. It was definitely worth watching and am glad that Dev Anand did not agree for a remake of any of his old hits, like so many other movies are being targeted. There just cannot be another Dev Anand!

Deepika Padukone, as we are all aware by now, is the daughter of the former world badminton champion - Prakash Padukone. Deepika grew up to be a model turned actress with her debut film Om Shanti Om opposite Shah Rukh Khan. She had great dreams to make it big in the industry. Since her first film, she has been a hot sensation. She has been involved with Ranbir Kapoor and had a breakup, which was all over the media as everyone speculated about what went wrong. Hmm..but our svelt actres has moved on to higher pastures, should we say, going around with Sidharth Mallya, the son of liquor baron Vijay Mallya. No wonder she is the brand ambassador of their IPL team Bangalore.

The latest news is of the forthcoming film "Aarakshan" starring Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan and Saif Ali Khan. Directed by Prakash Jha, the film is on India's most controversial subjects, that of "reservations". The film portrays a Dalit student leader (Saif Ali Khan) and apparently the film was first panned by the Dalit groups even before its release for being anti-Dalit. Now the upper caste groups of Rajasthan are also joining the protest, as are various political groups in Maharastra too. The film Promos apparently frayed a lot of tempers across the country, with Jaipur being the latest to join in. Posters are being burned and threats are being issued against the screening of the film by a pressure group called Karni Sena. (You find all kinds of groups these days!)

"This (reservation) was something that was of great interest to me. I kept watching it and observing it and kept seeing the drama unfold and all the repercussions - the commercialisation of education," says Jha.

Well, controversies are good publicity for these stars and starlets, isn't it? To add more mirch masala to her life, Karan Johar is now planning to bring Deepika and Ranbir together again in his next untitled film, produced under his banner Dharma Productions and to be directed by Ayan Mukherji. Apparently, Katrina was the first choice for the role, but due to the clash of dates couldn't do it and so Deepika agreed to accept the role. Coincidentally, Katrina was or is Ranbir's next after his breakup with Deepika. But I think they looked kinda cute together, don't you think so?

This time he is ready once again to hit the screens with his latest venture, "Bodyguard". The movie is inspired by his own bodyguards and as a tribute he is all set to get his personal bodyguard, Shera, to launch the theatrical trailer of his bumper Eid release. In fact, this time he wants all the focus and attention to be on his personal bodyguard, Shera. Is this his way of showing gratitude to the person who was always ready to give up his life to protect Salman, his idol and mentor? Apparently, yes!

It was his bodyguard who introduced the much-awaited theatrical trailer of his action-packed extravaganza at the launch function held recently. “It’s a very symbolic gesture. After all, Shera has been Salman’s bodyguard for several years now. Also, it fits in with the film’s line of communication perfectly,” says Priti Shahani of Reliance Pictures, Bodyguard’s co-producer.

Speaking of this film, Salman had apparently turned down an offer of Rs 7 crore to wear a security company’s uniform in the film, opting instead for Shera's brand. He had been approached by several security agencies to use their uniforms in his film. So, get ready to see the return of Salman Khan yet again on the big screen with "Bodyguard" on Eid. Most of his latest films have been huge box office hits.

Our Sallu Bhai being how he is, recently got into a fight with Bunty Walia at Maanyata's birthday bash. Seems like history repeats itself with Salman, as three years ago he had a similar fight at Katrina's bash. According to news reports, on thursday night Sanjay Dutt threw a lavish birthday bash for his beloved wife, Maanyata where he invited only his close friends were invited. Salman Khan and Bunty Walia were present, too.

Apparently, Salman walked in around 2 am and greeted everyone. He then bumped into Bunty Walia. Unfortunately for Bunty, Salman was already in pretty high spirits and so he started arguing with the filmmaker, which got louder by and by. The argument soon reached the stage where they started hurling abuses at one another and they had to be separated by Dharam Oberoi, who intervened at the right moment before things could get out of hand. He took Bunty away.

The host Sanjay Dutt was nowhere to be seen during this incident, as he had just gone out to drop one of the guests home.

A source informed, “Bunty Walia and Salman’s brother Sohail Khan were business partners at one point in time.However, after Bunty and Sohail went their separate ways, all has not been well between the Khan clan and Bunty. In fact, Salman and Bunty had got into a fight before as well.”

Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara - Movie Review, Official Trailer and Songs

Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara is a movie directed by Zoya Akhtar, which seems to have been inspired mostly by Farhan Akhtar's iconic "Dil Chahta Hai". I saw the movie today after hearing great reviews and feedback from all who watched it. Well, I must say that I was not disappointed, specially after watching a series of other not so great and flop films. This came as a pleasant entertainer with lots of action, humor, drama and scenic beauty to thrill your senses.

Farhan Akhtar, Hrithik Roshan and Abhay Deol look absolutely dashing in their roles as Imran, Arjun and Kabir respectively. Katrina Kaif and Kalki add to the glamor quotient as the female presence in the movie. Most of the movie is shot in Spain, after the initial quick introductions are over just before the title and star cast of the movie is displayed. We are taken on an incredible road trip in the exotic locales of Spain covering beaches, mountains, beautiful countryside, and even the narrow residential streets within the interiors of the country. You can just sit back and enjoy this breathtaking beauty of the country. It never ceases to amaze me how one can find such empty stretches of roads with no other traffic on the road at all, or even any sign of life or another human being? The movie revolves around these three characters who go on a bachelor trip together to enjoy and have fun just before one of them is set to get married. They indulge in heart thumping and adrenalin pumping adventure sports activities like sky diving, deep sea diving and getting chased by the famous Spanish bull. These scenes are great visual treats. Also one gets to see the local Tomatino festival of the place, where they have lots of fun throwing and getting smeared in squashed tomatoes.

Of course, a bollywood movie would be incomplete without its music, and that has been added with a lot of zest and energy with tracks lilting to the Spanish beats by the Shankar-Ehsan-Loy trio. They have done a great job with the music and songs that are bound to be a hit in the chart busters. As if the music was not enough, there is also enough poetry by Javed Akhtar throughout the movie, which adds to the emotional and sentimental quotient of the movie.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan voted as the most beautiful woman married Abhishek Bachchan in 2007. The marriage made waves all over the internet as the media was not allowed to cover the event and there was a mad rush to get exclusive pictures or videos to the event. Oh..no..they always seem to look their best and beautiful at any time of the day!

While everyone was waiting for the Oscars to happen, our very own version of Oscars, the Filmfare Awards function took place on the 23 Feb 2008. Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor, Vivek Oberoi and Himesh Reshammiya performed at the functions.

The show was hosted by none other than the Badshah and Chotte Nawab of bollywood, Read Shah Rukh Khan and Saif Ali Khan. Their zany sense of humor was as always at its best and the duo was unputdownable that night.

Shah Rukh Khan collected his seventh Filmfare award of all time. This time he got it for Best actor in Chak De. He is now only one short of Dilip Kumar's eight Filmfare awards.

The best actress award went to Kareena Kapoor for her bubbly character Geet in Jab We Met.

Deepika Podukone also was rewarded for her performance in Om Shanti Om. She wan the award for the best debutante.

Tabu too won her sixth filmfare award, this time for her role in Cheeni Kum and received the Critics' Award for the Best Actress.

The best director award went to Aamir Khan for Taare Zameen Par.

Rishi Kapoor was awarded the Lifetime achievement award.

Entire Bollywood is absolutely stumped and stunned at the verdict given by the TADA court in the case of Sanjay Dutt! Everybody had expected him to get a probation today, in court. All his close freinds and family were very optimistic today morning when they were interviewed, and they all said that they expected him to go scot free! They all felt that he had served enough of a sentence the last time he was in prison, for the same offence, and that he had suffered a lot through the last 14 years and deserved to be free at last of all tensions!Unfortunately, the judge who presided his case did not believe so! He said that Sanjay Dutt should have sought legal protection for his family if he wanted it and not the illegal way. That his actions were dangerous, and he was mature enough at that time to know exactly what he was doing!Sanjay Dutt, himself seemed unprepared for this verdict, it seemed, as he was heard saying to media persons that he had expected to get a probation and that had not come prepared to go to prison! That was the reason he asked for time, from the Judge, so he could speak to his family members, his daughter, in particular and requested time to surrender! But the Judge denied him time and also cancelled his bail bonds. He is to be taken straight to prison after the court is adjouned!His family and close freinds refrained from giving any comments to the media and appeared truly stunned with the turn of events against Sanjay Dutt!

Shah Rukh Khan statue to be unveiled in Paris

After Aishwarya did us proud by being voted as the 9th most beautiful woman in the world, it was ShahRukh Khan's turn.
He is the first Bollywood actor to have a statue at the French Graven Museum. A statue of the actor is set to be installed at the museum soon. SRK admitted that he felt honoured. He is already cast in wax and standing at Madame Tussauds in London alongwith other Bollywood actors like Amitabh and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. The French Graven Museum has statues of Salman Rushdie and writer and social activist Mahashweta Devi.
And among his other recent honours is the Officier dans l'Ordre des Arts et des Lettres (Officer of the Order of Arts and Letters) by the French government for his prolific career and his contribution to the development of Indo-French cooperation in the field of cinema .
