Hello!! Here is a lil' goodie bag I made for the keiki's in Cy's classroom. The DSP is Martha Stewart, and the pumpkin image is a digital image from Darcie's Country Folk Fal Collection. Simple n' easy - I did this one last minute, and in the middle of the night. LOL!!!

Dum Dums are Cy's favorite candies!! =0) In 2 days, my sister Nash will be here!! Can't wait!!

Yesterday, my show n' tell pic I shared with all of you was a pic taken from my "color fun day" on the 23rd of Oct. 2 Days later, I had a "Glama Gurlz" monthly gathering, on the 25th. I turned that into a color fun day as well... here are the Glamaz that were able to make it. We always have sooo much fun!!!

Here is an image colored by Jo, she used copics, and I just love how she colors - she's the who shared with me her coloring techniques... soooo pretty!!!!

Now, for A Fun Fact/Memory of Me #2....

I like my bacon fried to a crisp!!

Here is a tote bag that I made a while ago, but have decided to add a Mag to it to dress it up a bit. I've also added a bunch of All Natural Accent Flowers too, and some Dew Drops as well - all of which can be found at Little C's. This Mag was colored with my copics. I need to check out their site, and see what's new to bring in. So grateful for all of you that have placed order to help me deplete our inventory. It was a fun sale!!!

On Oct 23rd, '09, I had a "Color Fun Day" gathering at my home. Here are the ladies that came out to play. We had a great time talking stories n' as usual, eating up. =0)

Here are a couple of images I colored that day using my Copics....

A new poll has been posted - last week's poll question was "What do you do right before you go to bed" - 33% of us watch TV, 16% Crafts, 8% Reads, 8% Adjust The Room Temperature, 8% Needs a Certain Blanket, and 25% did none noted... LOL!! Fun Poll.... thanks for playing!!!

For Fun, I've decided to share a fun fact or memory about myself, and see how many of these I can share. It would be something great for my kids to later look back upon (or for myself as well, after I lose my memory of who I am, of course....)

So, here's fun fact #1:

My brother n' I built a club house up in the mountains that were behind our house in Kalihi, and hung out there with our friends during our pre-teen years. We used to "cook" Vienna Sausages in the can, over fire and pretend that we were really "camping".

Introducing JJ Kidz Digital Designs @ Little C's....

Oh My Goodness!!!! Sorry I've been MIA for a while - this week, I was helping at Cy's school on Tues, Wed n' Thurs. It's such a blessing to be able to help with the keikis and to see my Cy's smiling face. But it sets my creativity level back a bit, so just gotta find ways of making time to do these things.

Anyways, I'm posting today, and I hope I can continue to do so.... I have some fantastic exciting news for all of you!!!! Little C's has a new line of digis, they are called "JJ Kidz". The artist of this line of digis is my life long friend, Rose. She is a professional graphic artist with 18+ years experience, and I have been trying to convince her of the longest time to get her drawings on rubbah - or digital. She's finally agreed on letting me have the rights to these, and exclusively thru Little C's, she's allowing the sale of her images.

These images are adorable, and are actual drawings of her very own DD, Jaz. There are 9 images being released, and can be purchase individually or you can purchase the entire set.

Over at LC's Stamp n' Scrap Hawaii, we are challenging you to create a project with embossing included. It is not necessary for you to create with a JJ Kidz image - however, if you would like to try and create with one of the images, I would happily send you the "Jaz 1st Walk" to create with, which by the way is the same image I used on my project shown here.

On my project... I used an ice cream die cut from Doodle Charms Cricut Cartridge. Along with the Design Studio program, I was able to weld 2 Ice Creams next to each other, and create a card with them. I then decorated the front of the card. I sponged the edge of my cuts so that it would be more defined. I added sprinkles to the top of the ice cream with beads. The cherry on top was filled in with Candy Cane Sticklez. I generated the sentiment with my computer, and hand cut the talk bubble, then sponged the edges on that as well.

On lil' Jaz, I paper pieced her dress, punched 2 holes in the middle, and added a ribbon. I colored her with Copics. Also added some crystal glaze to her darling eyes (see 1st pic above), so that they are shinny as well.

That was pretty much it of what I did on this card. Have you notice tho' that I totally goofed, and forgot to emboss something on my project!? Yep - I realized this after I was done, and I was like... duh!!

Well, I hope your day is going by great... for today's show n' tell, I have some RAK's to share with all of you... I received these from sweet stamping sisters, thank you all for blessing me with your time n' your talents....

From Michelle U, my co-star from Joy of Crafting (we are trying to get our own segment on OC 16, with the help of Joy from The Joy of Crafting, Mich n' I may be successful... **wink**)... such a cute bunch of goodies, I had to take several pics of them up close n' personal. She used the stamp set "Spooktacular" for this project.....

oh, and I had to get my nail in there, I just had it done.... I love that candy apple red look!! Look at them blacks, Mich made them sooo shinny!!! Fantabulous, sister!!

This bunch of yummy filled totes are from my sister, Vina. Thanks for all the yummies, Love!!

These cutie pies were given to me by my girl, Jo... love their stitched up mouths... too cute n' adorable!!!

This lovely baggie was from my sweet sweet sister, Rina. She's so awesome!! Love her projects. She really has NO TIME to be creating, but she does, and when she does, they just come flowing outtah her.
I received this from Kris, whom I met from attending Photo Craft's Cricut Club meeting... check out this pretty cool cut. Yep, it was all cut on the cricut. This was cut with using the SCAL program.

The middle section opens up, and you can fill it with goodies.

Henry Mouse with Ornament

Good Morning!!! How is everyone doing!?!?! I want to apologize for my absence... just had to take care of a few things before I post. I have been creating, but just been kinda crazy doing some stuffs here, there n' everywhere. I hope to catch you all up with what's been going on. Before I go on, just to let you know that I will try to post 2 postings per day. 1 of which will be a created project, and the other will be called "show n' tell". It may be of another project or mines or of someone else's - or just a photo to share. So, hope you like the changes...

Ok, on to my project. Here I am using Henry Mouse with Ornament. It is a new image from Whiff of Joy, that can now be purchased through Little C's. We received a whole set of Henry Mouse stamps so check them out to see which one of these cuties you want. I colored the image with copics. I used crystal glaze on the ornament to give it a shinny look. I used Pearl Diamonds on the hat and the ornament for the puffed look. The embossed background is from an ornament Cuttlebug folder. I embossed, and then swiped a white ink pad over it to have the images pop out.

On the 2nd image, you can see that the pearl diamonds are pretty thick and have a nice puff to it. I just let dry and it remains as shown. This reminds me of those ornaments with those glitter embossing on them. Henry Mouse had a tail but I cut it off.

This project was also created using the specs of this week's challenge on LC's Stamp n' Scrap Hawaii. The challenge is to create with Pink n' Black. You can use any image and any layout - as long as you have Pink n' Black as the main colors. Come on and join the fun!!! Winner receives Henry Mouse Angel and $10 GC to use at Little C's.

I had a great time with this challenge. Been kinda out of it - so I think it's time I get my butt back into gear, don't cha think?! I need a new poll... so look for that new question soon.
Last poll question was "What Utensil(s) do you use most of when eating?" - the choices were: Fork, Spoon, Both and None... hands down, "Fork" was the choice of today's eaters. =0)

Two Scoops Rice Designs Tuesday....

Good Morning Friends! I am soooo tired! Went to bed at 10:30 pm, and then woke up at 3:30 am (both are reasons because of the pups). I've been up ever since, and I'm heading out the door to do a 9:30 presentation on the Cricut X for my Cy's school. They purchased 1 machine, and we decided on donating 1 to them as well, so that they could have 2 for the school. Anyways, going down to do a presentation, and I think I need to get me a Mocha!!! I usually drink a Caramel Machiatto, but I'm going to try out the Mocah this morning.

Anyways, today is Tuesday, and I'm totally trying to stay on top of my scheduled dates... so today, I've got some Two Scoops creations to share with you. I decorated 3 of these jumbo paper clips, and then added magnets to the backs of each, so that they could stick to the fridge, or maybe even the file cabinet of someone's workplace. All images are from Two Scoops Rice Designs - the Halloween Digis. These are soooo adorable!!! I loved creating with these images, and they were so fun to color and play with. =0) I added a tiny bling to each of these, because I thought it added a little sparkle to it, and made it even cuter. LOL... This bat here is soooo darling. Now if there were only real bats that were darling, huh?! The white highlights, I received from my friend, Irene. She was so sweet to purchase the whole stock from Hawaiian Graphics, and give them to her friends. LOL... it sounds like a lot was in stock, but really there were only about 5 or 6. I'm just so blessed that she picked me to be one of the recipients of this pen. I've been using my acrylic paint to make these highlights. But now that I have this pen, I'm going to try and use it on my projects more often.

The jumbo paper clips are from Bazzill Basic, the ribbons are all from my stash of ribbons. In fact I pulled them from my scraps. Gotta hit those first. I used the scallop & circle punches from EK Success and the dots on the scallop edges are also from that pen Irene gave me.

Christmas Stampin' All Year Long Challenge #39

Aloha Friends... we are up to challenge #39 on Christmas Stampin' All Year Long blog... and this week's challenge is hosted by Sankari, who has asked us to create tags at least 3 or more... this was a fun challenge to do, since it is different from making cards. But I figured that these tags could also be used on a card somehow, eventually, right?! Anyways, I made these 3 tags. The 1st here is a snowflake that is a digital design from Fred, She Said. Isn't it so purdy?! I love it on it's own, but I wanted to add some kinda sentiment to it, for some reason. I used sticklez to add glitz to it, and totally love how it turned out. The image was printed on my ink jet printer, and it is actually a "pre-colored" image, which means that the artist, Tracey had already added colors to this image, and all you need to do is print them and do whatever you want with them. These are great to use when you are in need of a project in a short amount of time. I punched a 1/16th inch hole in the tip of one of the flakes edges, and attached a gold cord to it. The sentiment is from Cat's Pajamas.

The 2nd tag I have here is a tag that was cut on my Cricut. I can't remember what cartridge this came from, I think the cartridge was "Christmas Cheer". The image is another digital image, and it is a Mindy Terasawa OR Nancy Kubo image. I don't know which one it is, but they are related, so just do a search for both of them, and then you will be able to figure out who it actually belongs to. Sorry, I'm no help am I?! I know, I actually had the image printed out from last year, and it was sitting in my drawer of images, so I just pulled it out. At least I remember that it is either or artists. LOL....

Once again, I've used sticklez to enhance, I used candy cane sticklez on the reds of the penguin, and star dust sticklez on the lines of the DSP, and then tied on this pretty

olive grosgrain ribbon, which I believe is 5/8" or so.... There is actually a circle cut out in the middle of the tag, and the image of the penguin is behind it, so that it is showing through the circle. Just incase you think that it is a punched out image that is placed on top of the tag, it really isn't... it's showing through the tag. Can't really tell from here, can you? I can't....

The last tag I created was also cut on my Cricut. The bracket type tag was cut using Accent Essentials, and I made a smaller sized cut of it as well, to layer on which is in color white. The candy canes are from Christmas Cheer cartridge, which I cut one the right one, and the other I flipped. I added stickles to the candy cane, and made it all sparklie. I stamped the bird (Hero Arts) on there with Momento Black Ink, colored with my Copics. The "To n' From" is from Cat's Pajamas (I think). I don't know how I got the idea of using the bird, or even why - it's not like the bird is going to place the ornament on the candy cane, but with it's "heart" shape, I kinda felt like the bird was adding a lil' LOVE to it. The ribbon is a rust red organdy type of ribbon.

Anyways, it turned out alright, huh!??!

Well, this week is the 2nd to the last week of challenges we will be having on the CSAYL blog, it has been a wonderful journey with the other designers of this team. There were times when I didn't or wasn't able to create, but yet, jumped right back into doing so. I don't know if I will actually use all my cards and give them out this year. I was thinking of keeping it simple and giving out photo cards at Christmas. We'll see.... I had a lot of fun though, and I hope you did too, creating along with us...

Ok on another note, I've added a poll to my blog... I had that going on one time or another on my blog, and it was so much fun to hear everyone's answers... so if you get a chance, check out the poll of the week, and answer along - you would need to go to my blog to actually see the poll, so if you are reading this on your email or your reader, then you won't be able to see it unless you go to my blog and you can do so by clicking on the title of this post above.

I've also added the schedule for my blog... I think I am finally getting organized with my blogging life... I need structure so that I know what I need to create, and it helps keep me motivated at the same time to know what I need to do next. I was on TV this weekend, together with Michelle U of Mushi's Creative Inspirations on "The Joy of Crafting", and then on KHON 2, a commercial for this car dent repair company called "Dr. Dent"... I didn't get to see the commercial yet, but taped the craft show - will get it up on the web for everyone to see soon.
I went to the ER this weekend, for bad back n' neck muscle spasms... I had a hard time taking in deep breaths, and couldn't breath without being in pain, I couldn't laugh and jiggle alot, or even bend down to do house chores **sigh**. Went in to make sure it wasn't anything serious, sure enough I am a-ok, was told to take Advil and to rest....
Went to Cy's Family School Night on Friday, and he along with his fellow class mates recited versus from the bible with smiles on their faces and did an awesome job - it was so cute!!! It's awesome to be educated along with the love for our Lord in their tiny lil' hearts.
My oldest made the President's List this 1st Quarter. He is surely making us proud.
Saw the video about the man made balloon that some scientist created in his back yard, and it floated away with him thinking that his 6-yr old son was in it. FREAKED ME OUT to think that he was in there.... the balloon went as high as 7500, and came down 2 hrs later with emergency crew all waiting for it to land, to find that it was empty, then later finding out that the boy was at home all this time, hiding in a box... oh goodness!!! Thank The Lord!! I was in tears....

Halloween Digital Designs by Two Scoops Rice

Happy Aloha Friday friends.... this week on LC's Stamp n' Scrap Hawaii we are featuring the many ways to create with Two Scoops Rice Halloween Digi set. Our challenge were to create "Anything But A Card", and everyone came up with awesome creations. Here's what I came up with....

First, I have here a goody bag, which I cut on my Cricut. It is another version of my Fancy Favor Box that SU! sells, but this one has a Scallop Edge - a request by the same Cricut community board member. I used my George cartridge for this cut. I cut the fence from Paper Dolls, and sponged it will black ink to add some shading to it. I colored the image with my Copics, and then used Sticklez to enhance. I've added a strip so that it would be easier to carry, but I don't even know if I am giving this to anyone. I wanted to add a sentiment to this project, but thought that if I did, it might cover the fence, and no one would be able to see the fence. LOL... so I opted to leave out the sentiment.

On my 2nd project, I saw a candle that was lying around my house - and waiting to be used, since 2006! LOL... funny how I purchase items thinking I wanna use them, and don't til' a year or two later. Well, this pumpkin is so adorable, and I loved coloring it. I colored it again with my Copics. I have been coloring a lot with my Copics lately, haven't I?!? Well, sometimes I feel like I've been neglecting my other mediums... I really want to try and use them - so each week, I'm going to try and rotate my mediums, so that I don't feel so guilty about all these different ones that I have but have neglected to use. So you'll be seeing more of different mediums here on my blog - in the near future... =0)

So anyways, this candle with pumpkin image was so easy and quick to create. Just added a strip of DSP to wrap around the candle, attached with double stick tape, and then used foam tape to attach the image of the pumpkin to the candle. Of course this is for decoration purposes only, and the decoration would need to be removed should it's receiver want to actually light it.

Hmmm... let's see - I'm trying to set a schedule for this blog, so that I create according to my schedule. It's really hard to think up things, but I hope when I finally get it down, that you will be just as happy as I am. I know for sure that there is going to be a "Hello Kitty Freebie Image Day" that should be fun...
Been working on some new stamps that arrived for Little C's, still need to price them and then upload to the website, they are "Henry The Mouse" stamps from Whiff of Joy.
Reloaded all of the Magnolia stamps that I currently have in stock - go check them out... I want to sell them before I bring in more of these...
Cy wasn't able to make it into the Christmas Play. Only because the rehearsals were after school, and I wouldn't be able to get him when it was done, since I would be picking his older brother up from school. I told him maybe when he gets older.
My mom bought a new car, an HHR, and she and my dad celebrated their 48th anniversary yesterday... wooooo hooooo!!!
The pups are still cute, and they are growing soooo quickly!!! They are learning quickly as to where they need to go potty - and they already know that they are not allowed in the living room area, as well as knowing that they are to STOP what they are doing if I clap my hands together, and head back to their kennel. Toooo Cute!!!
I'm getting sleepy.... I need coffee... **sigh**

Bubbles Noelani - Another Aloha Keiki

Good Morning - I am so addicted to these adorable images of our Aloha Keikis line. The artist, obviously is a local artist, and she goes by the name of "TeeJay Mochiko" - I will share with you a pic of her later. She's been a long time friend of mines, and have been actually drawing these images up for her T-Shirt designs a few years back, and finally started to dig them up and with a little persuasion, I've talked her into making them digitals. She is so blessed to have such awesome talents!!!

Ok for today's creation, I have here a "Copic Pouch" which I've created on my Cricut DS Program, and cut on my X to hold these 5 Copic Pens. I made this Copic Pouch as a gift to one of my gf's who has recently started her Copic's collection, and hopefully with a little gift from me, it'll enhance her collection. Although she's already got a bunch of them going on already.... LOL... I hope she doesn't have these colors. I used the digital image called Bubbles Noelani, Sticklez to enhance the bubbles. I hid the sentiment "T he Best Things In Life..." BEHIND the pens, so that when the pens are removed, the sentiment is shown. Meaning, "yes... the best things in life aren't just THINGS... they are COPIC THINGS...." at least in this case. LOL... I colored Bubbles Noelani with Copics as well. As you can see this pouch fits 5 Copic Sketch Markers perfectly... It probably fits at least 6 of the Copic Caio Markers. =0) I also used dew drops from Little C's - this is from the "Gum Drop" collection. It is such a pretty mix with pastel green n' pastel yellow along in the mix with this pink that I've used here.

Aloha Keiki's Girl Scout Noelani.... For A Good Cause.... Please donate!!

Good Morning!!! I just wanted to share another Aloha Keiki creation with ya... this one here is called "Girl Scout Noelani", and she is a digital image that can be found and purchased through Little C's. Just click on the link above, and you will be taken to the page where she is available. Isn't she a sweetie?! She's darling!!! She reminds me of my nieces who are all Girl Scouts themselves. This group of Young Leaders are such a great cause to our community.

Speaking of a great cause, I am putting this out to all the Hawaii local sisters reading this post out there. My niece, has put together a "Clothes Drive" for Samoa and those affected by the earthquake and tsunami that devastated Samoa. If you have gently used clothes that you would like to donate, please contact me @ littlecs7@gmail.com, I will be helping my niece collect these clothes, and would need to get them to her no later than Monday, October 19th. So if you can get your donated clothes to me by then, that would be awesome!!!

Now on to my card... I colored Girl Scout Noelani with Copics, used a Sizzix folder for the embossing on the DSP, the DSP is Martha Stewart, and Sticklez to enhance. Brown dew drops (these are so purdy!!!), and a white organdy ribbon. Oh, the sentiment is actually a magnet -pretty cool, huh?!

The picture I am sharing you is of my front yard, this was taken the other day when it was pouring rain... oh how I love the rain!! My empty pond was starting to fill with rain water that day - but not enough to fill it to the rim! LOL....

Himawari Babies Creations

Hey All... today, I have some Himawari Babies creations to share with you. With Halloween right around the corner, I know that a lot of you are celebrating by giving out little goodie bags to your friends, family, co-workers, and I hope to share some ideas that you might want to make using Himawair Babies images.

My 1st project here is a simple bag that I cut with my X using a bag cut from "Tags, Bags, Boxes n' More" cartridge. I hand cut the image of Frankie, and simply adhered him to my nestie cut outs with foam tape. Real simple n' easy to do. The treat that went into this lil' bag is a .58 oz container of Wrigley's Doublemint Mintcreme. Kinda small in size, but huge in taste - that actual size of this is 1-1/2" in width, 2-1/4" in height, and 5/8" thick.

Here are more pics of different angles.... as you can see, I had to take a sample of what this mint tasted like.

This 2nd project, I actually recycled the acetate box that I used. It actually came from an American Craft box full of 6 ribbons. I figured I could recycle by creating a top n' bottom cover, and then adding a Himawari Babies image - this one I believe is called "Lil' Eddie", he was inspired by that dude from Twilight. I used my Copics to make his face a little more grayer than what it originally was, and I recolored his vest, as well as added some hair lines to make it more defined, and added a "mint" of color in his eyes - I did this to also share with you how you can manipulate and change the coloring of the original image.... I also added some red stitched grosgrain ribbon around the top cover of the box.

This last project here is a project that I also made on my Cricut, and named this cute favor bag thingy which was inspired by my gf Claudette - I even named it after her, it's call "The Claudie Bag" and you can find the cut file here for downloading (on my Cricut Blog). I have 2 cuts, one for those that have the smaller cricut, and another that also has the X, so check out the blog, and be sure to download the one you can use. I used this Himawari Babies image, because it went perfect with the colors on the DSP that I used....

Christmas Stamping All Year Long Challenge #38

Hey there... I'm late on creating and posting this, but better late then never.... it's already challenge #38 over at Christmas Stampin' All Year Long, and we were to follow a sketch this week. I missed a couple of challenges these past weeks. So I'm happy I was able to get to participate in this one. But so late, so I hope to be on top of it next week.

Anyways, the image that I used on this project is a digital image from Fred, She Said. Isn't it soooo purdy?!?!! The sentiment is one of the new sentiments that I will be releasing sometime in November. It'll be part of the Christmas sentiments I'm coming up with for Little C's. So be on a lookout for that. I colored the image with Copics Sketch Markers, and then used sticklez to accent. I also used Dew Drops to add some shine to the card.

The FSS image I printed out twice, and then colored both, cut one out, and then layered on top of the other. The flower layered on top I curled between my finger nails. I used foam tape to layer it on top of each other, and foam tape for the sentiment as well. Gives height to it. The oval punch for the sentiment is an EK Success punch, and the scallop around it was cut using a decorative scissors.

Barb came over Saturday night, we worked on favors for her HS reunion. My hubs n' CY4 attended the UH football game that evening.
On Sunday we attended service, and I was supposed to give blood, but because I am taking anti-biotics, I was deferred til' a later date - BOOO HOOOOO...... went home, had a nap, and then woke up to cook steak n' left over chicken for din-din
Today (Monday) is a holiday for my kids, while daddy still has to work. We went running around all over this morning... 1st to the doctors (for me), then to Sony to drop off my broken camera (I finally got a chance to get over there), then to Jack in the Box, took that over to my mom's and ate there... stayed there for a few minutes, then back on the road again - went to this Massage Supply shop (for hubby, because he's had a stiff neck for several days now), and then to PetCo... phew.. came home, washed dishes - while I had CY4 do the laundry. I am pooped and need a nap for TODAY!!! LOL... I wish. Thank goodness din-din will be left overs. =0)
Today's picture is of my 2 babies sleeping next to each other, aren't they so adorable?!?! Camme is on the one on the top, Chrisjen on the bottom.... SWEET!!!!

Bubbles Kimo - Digi

Good Morning!!! Here is my creation of Bubbles Kimo, another digital image from "Aloha Keikis" line of digital images, sold at Little C's. I colored him with my Copics, and used Sticklez for the bubbles, the embossing folder is a CB folder called "Spots n' Dots". Cardstock is from Bazzill. Sentiment is call "Love Bears All Things", it is a digi also available at Little C's.

FREE Digital Image and Digital Sentiment @ LC's Stamp n' Scrap Hawaii

Hey There!!! Today is the day that Little C's is releasing NEW images, from two new lines called "Aloha Keikis" and "A Sentimental Corner". We are having a challenge, for those of you who would like to try and earn both of these new digital sets for FREE. You can check out the challenge, and download the free images here.

Ok, so here is a card I created using "Bubbles Kimo" and "Love Bears All Things..." digital images. I wanted to try and work with the boy images first, because I have 2 boys myself, so thought it would be easier to create with them. I loved coloring this image. I used my Copics, added buttons to accent, used my Spellbinder Nestie to cut both the Scallop Oval and Oval. The DSP is from Whipper Snapper, and card stock is from Bazzill Basics. The sentiment is also available through Little C's.

Now, here is my daily blurbs....

Today's weather: HUMID, Raining (nice but sooo humid afterwards!!!), partly sunny
Cy had a field trip today, to the Bishop Museum. He had a lot of fun, and shared with CY4 n' I afterwards some interesting things he learned about Lava, Planets and Dinosaurs. SO CUTE!!!
One of the pups had their 1st "runs" today... ugh... the sick part is that I put them both in the bathroom to go potty, and I left them there to get something. When I returned, the puppies were doing what pups love to do, running, jumping n' playing.... and when I went into the bathroom, oh gosh.... pretty foot prints of MESS were all over the bathroom floor... that was the yucky part of my morning.
I had a visit from my friend Barbie earlier this morning, and then my former GG Ali n' her keikis stopped by later in the afternoon... thanks for the visit ladies!!
CY4 was off today, when I left the house to run errands, he stayed home, washed clothes n' cleaned the living room (glad that my constant pushing is paying off...and he's only 13, mind you!!!). Pssst, if you want your kids helping around the house, start as early as 3 years old by introducing them to some of the easy chores, or by helping you with them, but make it fun and interesting for them... CY4 was cooking rice at 8 years old!!! Both of my boys have a chore list that they have to check off daily, even the real simple kine - like gathering cups, is something that Cy loves to help with. =0)
My highest score for Bejeweled has been met - 261,650 is what I got yesterday... WOOO HOOOO!!! But Beate is still ahead of me... LOL!!!
These last two pictures I have to share with you is 1st a pic of a Banyan tree, that was in the parking lot of First Hawaiian Bank Moanalua (I was waiting for my parents while they went banking), the 2nd pic is of my mom n' dad at the Chinese restaurant we went to eat at after spending the day with them yesterday.

Geisha Anya on My Cricut Version of SU!'s Fancy Favor Box

Howdy Friends!!! Today, I have to share with you this adorable Faux SU! Fancy Favor Box, which I've created using my Circut DS Program, and then cutting on my Cricut Expression. If I made it any smaller - it wouldn't have been the same approximate size as the Fancy Favor box, so I wanted to get it as close to it's dimensions as possible. I will share the cut file on my Cricut blog in a couple of day from today. For now, I'd like to talk about the Geisha Anya stamp image that can be purchased at Little C's. I love The Greeting Farm images as they are so easy to color and just a lot of room to play with when coloring with Copics.

So I colored this image with my Copics, the DSP is Martha Stewart, and that's pretty much it with this project. LOL....

Ok, now for my blurbs... I have to catch you up with what's been going on - crazy madness this last couple of days... ok, let's begin....

Today's weather: Voggy (Volcanic Smoke fills the air), Humid, Sunny and HOT!!!!
Got me a new phone - the Palm Pre, also got my mom n' dad new phones (it was time for an upgrade!!!) - Sprint is awesome, every so often they give you credit towards purchasing a new phone, and I was blessed to have credits on all accounts of mines n' my parents (I have them on my service).
Went to the doctor's on Tuesday, and was told I lost 3 pounds... WOOOO HOOOO and with 3 pounds, I brought my cholesterol down, as well as some other stuffs... Dr said 3 pounds is HARD to lose... I joked around stating that it was probably just water. LOL...
Yesterday, I spent the day with mom n' dad, we went to visit Granny. We then went to eat at a Chinese restaurant... we ordered a lot of food! Gosh, every dish tasted so good!!! LOL... there goes my 3 pounds!!
The pups are doing well, if I plan it right, they will sleep through the night. =0)
Today I will be having lunch with my sister Jackie.
I did a Cricut Demonstration for Cy's school's office... it was really short, and fun.
This weekend... hmmmmm.... I'll be donating blood to the Blood Bank of Hawaii - won't you donate some blood too?!
Cy wants to be in his school's Christmas play - will let you know if he gets a role to play.
Oh, tomorrow Little C's will be releasing the Digital Images from Aloha Keikis. Can't wait to see what the DT comes up with... kinda exciting. Two Scoops Rice Designs - Mini Memo Pad Holders

Aloha and Good Morning!!! I hope you're having a pleasant day today!!! I created these Mini Memo Pad Holders using an idea that derived from my fellow glama girl, Myra of 808 Kreations. The teddy is from Two Scoops Rice Designs, and I've used shrink plastic to make the smaller sized teddies on each pen.

I used Sticklez on the hearts of each flower pot, and I used Dew Drops to enhance, which you can purchase at Little C's!

My blurbs....

Happy to finally have a working camera again, that is to my standards!! LOL... I couldn't help myself, I went back to purchasing a Sony. The quality of their picture taking... just loving it!!!
It poured yesterday - like crazy, and then cleared up so quick. (See pic taken yesterday right before lunch time, near KFC Aiea)
Yesterday was the very 1st time I've ever eaten by my lonesome at a restaurant. I went to Champa Thai to eat some Chicken Pad Thai Noodles (See pic below). I usually would've taken it home to eat, but my car was being serviced at Jiffy Lube. Plus with the rain, it brought thunder n' lightning (which I love), but didn't want to take the chance of being sizzled....
The weather today is nice n' sunny, the sky is bright blue, and just beautiful!!
Yesterday, Cy said, "Today was a good day in school!" - It's so awesome to hear those words... he is loving his school and just sponging in all kines of information. Praise God!!!

Sarah Kay - Gate Fold Card

Good Morning!! Hope you are having a beautiful day today! I have a gate fold card to share with you. I created this card because I was casing a card of Kyoko's, whom we had featured on LC's Stamp n' Scrap Hawaii's blog. Kyoko was our featured Aloha Blogger for the week. I saw that she had a Gate Fold card on her blog, and that is the one that I decided on casing.

The image is a Sarah Kay image, flowers and leaves are All Natural Accents, and Dew Drops can all be purchased at Little C's. I also used DCWV DSP, SU! Cardstock, Spellbinder Nesties and a TAC sentiment. I used sticklez to accent the image as well. I colored her hat with Prisma Pencils, and her overalls with Copics. I actually had this image colored awhile ago.

Ok, so as you know, I wasn't too sure about this camera. But I am sure now... I am not happy with it. I don't like how the picture looks grainy... I don't know if you can tell but I can. The quality isn't what I want, so I'll be returning this camera, and getting me another one. We'll see what I can come up with. I also had my nails done on Thursday, so just had to take a pic of that to share with you....

My Daily Blurbs.....

Pups are doing well, have them on a time schedule, but during the weekend it is harder to keep them on a schedule if the family is out n' about.
This past Friday and Saturday my stampin' sister n' good friend Barbara came over, we hung out, had coffee, talked stories, she colored, I created with my Cricut DS program.
I've updated my Cricut Blog this weekend, and posted a LOT of Cut files for those of you that have a Cricut and DS to use... check it out - you'll love what you see.
I'm working on creating the Fancy Favor Box that SU! sells - on the Cricut DS, and I'm just about done with it...
The weather was gloomy this morning, with 70% chance of rain, but it looks like it is clearing up.
I spent an hour and 15 minutes in the parking lot of my son's school this morning, fellow-shipping with my fellow Christian sisters Tanya n' Jo - I had a great time, but now my schedule for today is pushed back....LOL!!!
I've got the following on my TO DO list today, and I HAVE TO DO them..... Laundry (kids uniform - I took a break on laundry this weekend), Dishes (can't these ever GO AWAY!??!), Safety Check on MY car, Best Buy for new camera, return this camera @ Walmart.... I better GET GOING!!!!
Breakfast was a toasted Croissant n' Coffee... Chocolate Caramel Macadamia is the flavor of the coffee.... yummmm
