母との一悶着はひとまず収拾。<br /> <br /> <br /> とりあえず渡韓出来ました♪<br /> <br /> <br /> 昨日から彼氏さんのソウルの実家にお世話になっております。<br /> <br /> 少し忙しくて、<br /> せっかくtwitterとかでコメントをいただいていたのに、<br /> 返信できていなくて、<br /> すみません。<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> 小食なのに美味しいものがいっぱいで<br /> 少し無理して食べてしまったり、<br /> 辛いもの続きで胃がもたれ気味ではありますが、<br /> それ以外は何とも楽しく過ごしています♪<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> 心配していたご両親もとても良い方達で<br /> ホッと一息。<br /> <br /> 慣れない韓国文化に戸惑いながらも、<br /> 楽しい一時を過ごしています。<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> 私は今の彼氏さんに出会うまで、<br /> 韓国に特別興味を持っていた訳ではないし、<br /> たまたま出会ったとても素敵な人が<br /> 韓国人であったというだけでした。<br /> <br /> そのため、ご両親に会えると決まってからの<br /> 数週間、韓国文化などについて書かれた<br /> 本やブログを読みあさったり、<br /> 新聞にでてくる「韓」という文字に異様に反応してみたり<br /> と、過ごしてきましたが、<br /> やはり、付け焼刃の知識で文化の違いはどーこーなる訳ではなく…<br /> <br /> もう、身を以て体験しよう…的な<br /> テンションでいたのが正解だったのかな。<br /> <br /> /> <br /> <br /> <br /> この時点での時間は午前１時。<br /> 金曜日…しかもスノーストームが近づいている。<br /> せっかく近所でホテルも予約したのに、<br /> 寒くて雪がひどくて…、何よりも風が強くて前も見えず<br /> ってな状態で歩いて帰るのも困難な状態。<br /> 何よりも車を乗り捨てることはできない…。<br /> <br /> <br /> このとき、最悪のシナリオが頭をよぎる。<br /> 時間内にロスにはつけないかもしれない。<br /> 飛行機に乗り遅れるなぁ、<br /> いや、それよりもこの寒い中車の中でヒーターなしに一晩こせるのか、<br /> それにも増して車内に漂うガソリンの臭い。<br /> 絶対に体に悪いし。<br /> 死ぬかもしれないね…なんて冗談抜きで言い合ってた。<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> ここから空想話はやめ、現実に戻って保険会社や、<br /> 近所のtowing service会社に電話しまくる。<br /> <br /> <br /> けど、時間は午前１時すぎと、<br /> 全然誰も電話に出てくれない。<br /> また、保険会社は、州外だからどうにもできない…って応え。<br /> 明日から週末だし…<br /> と、もう絶望的な気分だった。<br /> <br /> <br /> 途方にくれかけたけど、<br /> とりあえず近くのディーラーを探して土曜日の営業時間を確認。<br /> 幸運なことに土曜日もオートサービスショップは営業中らしい。<br /> （午前中だけだけど…）<br /> <br /> <br /> ってことで、再びレッカーサービス会社に電話。<br /> <br /> 大雪のため、事故が多発で朝の８時か９時ごろにならないと<br /> ピックアップできない…とのこと。<br /> <br /> <br /> ディーラーにいっても結局８時からの営業だったから、<br /> 数社あるレッカーサービスの会社の中から<br /> 一番待ち時間が短い会社を選択。<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> 一晩をヒーターなしで大雪のなか、<br /> 車の中で過ごす。<br /> <br /> 午前６時過ぎ、寒すぎて震えが止まらなくなった私を見かねて、<br /> おっぱはホテルまでいこう、と決意。<br /> <br /> <br /> 近くに作業中の雪かき車まで歩いていったおっぱ、<br /> 話をつけてきてくれたみたいで、<br /> ホテルまで送ってくれるとのこと。<br /> <br /> <br /> ありがたくライドをもらった…。<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> 動かなくなった車のことが心配なおっぱは<br /> ホテルに私をおき、また外へ。<br /> <br /> レッカー車が来るまでの３時間半ほどを一人で<br /> 車で過ごしたみたい。<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> 最終的に、レッカー車が動かなくなった車をつれて、<br /> 近所（っていっても高速で３０分くらい）の<br /> ディーラーへ。<br /> 私たちも後を追ってタクシーでディーラーへ。<br /> <br /> <br /> うまく数時間でなおるといいね…<br /> と、おっぱ。<br /> <br /> パーツが壊れていて、その部品をオーダーなんてことになったら、<br /> 軽く部品の輸送だけで数日ほどの足止めになってしまう。<br /> <br /> もう、わらにもすがる思いで願いながら、<br /> ディーラーの人に車を預ける。<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> 一度、これまた車関係の問題で日本行きを延期しているので<br /> 飛行機の時間はもう変えられず、<br /> 月曜日には絶対にロスに着かなければいけないので、<br /> 事情を説明し、最優先で車の修理を頼む…。<br /> <br /> <br /> 何が問題なのかをまずみてくれて、<br /> 修理の時間を含め、合計で２時間ほどだったけど、<br /> 待っている時間が鬼長かった…。<br /> <br /> <br /> ワークショップから戻った整備士は、<br /> ニコニコしながら、<br /> もう大丈夫！と一言。<br /> <br /> <br /> どうやらどの部品も壊れた訳ではなく<br /> 一つ一つ緩んで外れたりしていただけだった、とのこと。<br /> <br /> もうこの『大丈夫』って言葉を聞いた瞬間に<br /> 私とおっぱ、旅を続けられるうれしさで泣きそうになる♪<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> ってことで、このトラブルでだいたい１０時間ほどのタイムロス。<br /> 取り戻さないといけないと必死になる私たちにディーラーの人たちからの助言…<br /> <br /> 『西に向かうな！南に向かえ！』<br /> それほどまでにひどいスノーストーム。<br /> コロラドでは高速も通行止めになっているとの情報。<br /> もうこれ以上のトラブルはごめんなので、<br /> 地元の人のアドバイスを聞き入れようってことで、<br /> ルート変更。<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> コロラド経由で直接ロスへ向かうはずだったけど、<br /> ミズーリ、オクラホマ、テキサス、ニューメキシコ、アリゾナ、ネバダ、<br /> そしてカリフォルニアへと、南ルートをとることに♪<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> で、今はオクラホマ。<br /> まだまだ２０時間以上のドライブが残っているけど、<br />
