It's cold outside today, we had 20 below this morning and about 8 inches of snow yesterday. I should not complain about the weather since the this is really the first big snow fall of the season, but I'm always cold so the warmer weather is what I like!

SEPTEMBER MONTHLY CHALLENGE: Window Dressing Challenge!

One of my favorite things about my town is Main Street with its many cute and quaint shops. One of my favorite things is to take a casual stroll down the street and take my time looking at all of the beautiful windows. For this next challenge, we want to see you give your next project a “window” element of some kind. Almost like you are dressing your own window into your project.

This is my project for this month's challenge. I used Flower Shoppe and Once Upon a Princess. I hope you like it!

This is what I made for the Weekly Cricut Circle Challenge. I used Paisley for the dragonflyies and flower shoppe for the flower. I hope you like it!

Mom's Home! Maybe Life Will Be Back To Normal

Well, after a four month recovery from two hip surgeries my mother is back in her home with some help. It is good to have her home and close so family can keep a watchful eye on her!

I have been busy running for her but I'm not complaining I woud do anything for her. I will enjoy my extra time at home though doing the things I like best papercrafting and sewing!

I have made some cards that I will be posting and I have also have some sewing projects that I will be sharing.

I have to tell you that I have had an interesting week with E-Bay and Pay-Pal. I will not be purchasing anything big over e-bay again! My mother-in-law and I were looking at longarm sewing machines for quilting and I happened to go on e-bay and there we found one for a reasonable price so we placed a bid and got the machine. We went to pay and the purchasing amount was to high and pay-pal would not let the payment go through without our banking information they said so we gave them that information and it still would not go through. Then they told us that it was to much money for such a new account so after a week of stress and worry we finally sent the seller a cashier check and he will have his payment on Monday then we will get our machine! So buyers beware that when you purchase something big Pay-Pal might not let your payment go through.

I will be posting pictures of my recent project later today I hope!

WOW, thanks Robyn at My Pink Stamper for an amazing day of fun filled challenges to participate in. This was the first time I was able to follow along and I was able to make a few for the projects and will be sharing them here!

Live These Days

Well, I hoping my live gets a little back to normal now. My mom fell in February and has now had to surgeries to fix it. She has been in and out of the hospital and is currently in the nursing home. She was having problems with fluid and the blood counts which is not good since she has congestive heart failure. So will all this going on I haven't been home long enough to do any paper crafting. I really miss it, but I hope full that things will turn around for her and I can be home more to do what I love to do!

This is a card I made for my best friends birthday! She enjoyed it! The image I used is from Pollycraft "Ginger" collection. The flower I made from punches and card stock is from Stampin Up.

I'm Back!!

It has been kinda crazy in my world lately so that I haven't been able to post anything recently. Well I have been busy with my mom since she broke her hip the end of February and now is in the nursing home for recovery! She is finally doing better and hopes to be home by the first of May. I guess we will see if that happens.

February CRICUT EVERYDAY CONTEST!

You have your hands on the best cartridge any true Circle member would want!! Put it to good use and create something that you would use to define yourself at Meet-ups, Crops, the Stampede or any other circle event!! Your project can be your calling card, tags, table décor or something to swap.

CONTEST RULES: Please use at least 3 Cricut Cuts from your Cricut Everyday Cartridge in your design. Upload a picture of your project to the blog under the Magazine Challenge tab. Two projects made this last week!

I made the cricut matchbook for the cricut magazine challenge for Feberuary. Inside the matchbook it holds a fun size candy bar! Everyone needs a little chocolate to get them through the day!

The cow birthday card was made for a birthday swap and I will be getting 9 birthday cuts or cards in return. Can't wait to see what everyone created!

The thank-you note card was for an aunt that sent things for the benefit and the two birthday cards were for last weeks birthday! Hope you enjoy looking!

Sorry so long!

Well, it has been awhile since I posted, sorry... I have been busy getting ready for my brother-in-laws cancer benefit that was held last weekend in our home town Boscobel. It was amazing the out pour of love and support from our surrounding communities! Words cannot express how much the family has appreciated everything the community, friends and family have done for them in this time of need. I want to take the time to say thank you for all the greeting of support and donations that have made the benefit such a huge success. Now that it is over the healing will continue and the road to recovery will not be so much a burden for him worrying how he will provide for his family. Thank You ...Thank You ... Thank You everyone for your thoughts and prayers they do make a difference.
