Bruno duarte,is the sole representative soul behind IMMUNDUS...his carreer as musician into dark ambient scene began back 2006.Since these moment,his haunting ghostly ambient stuctures gave birth to a monstrous psychotic creature now as IMMUNDUS.

After some singles,eps,compilation and two albums. Bruno duarte native from Portugal,arrives with a very somber and desolated album,full of dense ambient soundscapes and ghastly passages gathering through the 13 tracks included on this release.

Tracks such as " These Old Scars","Nightwork",and "Individually they are weak" open the album ,with such amazing and sensitive dark atmopsheres,full of eerie elements with such floating atmospheres. "taken Into The Shadowy Land" ,continues the path,full of macabre sounds and desolated elements which transform each structure in a suggestive voyage.

So IMMUNDUS keeps such enigmatic feeling through each one of the trackas included here,offering us a very amazing release worth to explore in its totallity. "Under The Surface" or "The Glass Room" are compositions with intense moments due how each multilayered sounds converges instantaneously to create strong but sensitive,atmospheres with a ahunting penetrating sence.

The album concept has such strong connections with methods of psychotic serial killers and their mental skills to create the most in depth and perverted visons.
Other tracks to mention here are "fearful","Experiments In Cold Blood","Carved And Left To Die"...all of them with such haunting ,ghastly cinematic soundscapes transporting you to the own psychopath's mind.

"Dead Bodies Floating On Filthy waters","Fall Into Oblivion","Open Wounds" and "Retained Mental Impression" closes the album,still having such excellent elements to consider this one,a very fantastic creation with dynamism,creativity,and such feeling as the most important elements you shall find here!!!

Just be prepare to explore th eye of the serpent,and to be submerged in a psychotic bloody realm,where everything is possible,and possible is nothingess waiting for you!!!

    Bereits im Jahre 2003 schuf der in Norwegen lebende Portugiese Bruno Duarte das Projekt Immundus, welches fortan ein Genre etabliert, daß die passende Bezeichnung Ghost-Ambient trägt. Nach diversen Singles und zwei Alben („Torments“ 2008, „Haunted Memories“ 2009) präsentiert Quartier23 nun das neueste Werk: „Eye of the Serpent“.

    Mit "Haunted Memories“ erlebten wir die Welt aus dem Blickwinkel eines Serienmörders, der, zurück am Ort des Geschehens, seinen eigenen Erinnerungen standhalten muß. „Eye of the Serpent“ kommt einem Seitenwechsel gleich. Denn hier durchleben wir die Situation und die Gedankenwelt der Opfer.
    Musikalisch ist dieses Album das bislang experimentellste Album von Immundus. Noch dunkler erscheint die Atmosphäre, noch bedrohlicher die Klänge. Wenn Musik in der Lage ist, Gänsehaut zu erzeugen, dann schafft es „Eye of the Serpent“ spielend, einen wohligen Schauer zu erzeugen.
    Man muß sich kompromisslos auf das Werk einlassen, um sämtliche Tiefen und Emotionen zu erleben, die „Eye of the Serpent“ für den geneigten Hörer bereithält!      Sit back and enjoy your creeps...

    "Formed in 2003 by Bruno Duarte from Portugal, currently living in Norway, the project "Immundus" a now well established project on the fields of Dark Ambient sub-genre, most known as Ghost Ambient. After several singles and two full-length albums ("Torments" 2008, "Haunted Memories" 2009) Quartier23 now presents the latest work: "Eye of the Serpent".

    With "Haunted Memories" we experienced the world from the perspective of a serial killer who headed back to the scene, with his own memories to withstand. "Eye of the Serpent," works as a side-shift. In this album we witness the situations and the thoughts of the victims as well as the surroundings.

    Musically, this album is so far the most experimental album of Immundus. From a much darker atmosphere, and with the sounds even more threatening. If music is able to produce goose bumps, then "Eye of the Serpent" easy creates a pleasant shiver.

    We must get involved thoroughgoing to the work for fully experience of all the depth and emotion "Eye of the Serpent" holds for the open-minded listener!

As The New year approaches so does the new coming album "Eye Of The Serpent" to be released on January 2011. So is about time to start promoting and ask for you my friends to support and help by spreading the message about the new Immundus album release, which will be available on both CD via Quartier 23, which is for me very exciting, not only because it will be the first release through this record label, but also because they have showed so much professionalism and been amazing on welcoming this project to their roster, which makes me very proud to be apart of the new family.
