Acne is out and about to demonstrate that swedish furniture can be more than just a BILLY. The following pictures were taken during Paris Fashionweek. They yet conquered my heart and my imagination of a model home. But you surely have to check your bank account first before you start dreaming. Quality will have it's price. But who knows maybe there will be a collaboration, that's what swedish brands allways do in the end.

The GQ's own Tommy Ton kept some looks right from Paris for us, off-site. These fellas look tight, no homo. Paris doesn't seem to be dominated by sponsorings. NYC in the 1970s shot by Bruce Barone. Cities like New York are like mirrors to our society. New York changed since then and so did the society. Sure that it doesn't fit exactly, but these photos represent lost memories even when we do focus on things like the fashion or the music from the 1970s it is impossible for us to go back and to feel what happened and to feel what they felt. These feelings will be lost by the time that this generation isn't anymore, well it's allways like that with every generation's feelings. But atleast we can try to get it by photographs! Enjoy.

This is what a blueprint of a homeless' home looks like. The idea of approaching a topic like this with street art components and arrangement is fresh to me even if it's from the last decade. The concept above is from 2005 invented by the famous TBWA Paris. Now in 2010 the Altraforma Agency nearly copied this idea for the city of Barcelona. Doubled or not it is for a good cause. I'm sure that this is an eye catcher while walking down the streets of your city. Continue to see what the copied one looks like.

Wow. This design by Matt Richmond combines high tech with well atleast faked good old sound. Imagine this in your crib. Expect the unexpected. 400 Dollars and you're in. Captured by Edward Burtynsky in Westley, CA. This reminds me of the Bible and the path of Moses and his fellows through the sea. Well, something went wrong since then.

"Nature transformed through industry is a predominant theme in my work. I set course to intersect with a contemporary view of the great ages of man; from stone, to minerals, oil, transportation, silicon, and so on. To make these ideas visible I search for subjects that are rich in detail and scale yet open in their meaning. Recycling yards, mine tailings, quarries and refineries are all places that are outside of our normal experience, yet we partake of their output on a daily basis."

Blue Dot Studio put 25 of their chairs on the streets of Manhattan, and then followed the chairs through a combination of GPS and video surveillance as people picked them up and took them home–which, by the way, the public could follow in real time on Twitter. Then the filmmakers interviewed the chair-collectors. Go further for the resulting video.
