Everyone uses Google for searches but here are top 5 tips and tricks you can use for supercharge your Google searches

1. If you need to search a specific word or a phrase you can use double quotes and Google with its xray vision will search every webpage with that exact phrase or word

2.search a single site- to search a specific site you can do this go to Google search and type android site:techeaven.blogspot.com, and Google will search the specific word used in that specific website

3.Let Google be your maths teacher-if you are like me who hate maths and is horrible in it and for your 2+2= 22 then you need to use Google, try this for eg type in the search box 2+2 and u'll get the answer hmm did u know 2+2 is 4??

4.if you are using Google chrome much like Google's android you can use your voice(you can use someone else's voice too) to search on your desktop or PC just connect a microphone and tap the mic icon and ask your query

5.Let google be your time keeper-if your cousin lives in another timezone and you are always wondering what time is it there, then just type time followed by the city where you want to see the time of,

Ok so there were a lot of tech news last week so this will be made into 2 videos and posts and this is the first one, the second vid's and post will be link- there is a lot of news to cover so lets get started

1.Google Nexus 6 price in India has been officially confirmed thanks to the listing of the smartphone in the Play Store. Google Nexus 6 32GB variant has been priced in India at Rs. 44,000 for the 32GB variant, while the 64GB variant will be available in India at a price of Rs. 49,000. The smartphone will be available in two colours: Midnight Blue and Cloud White. There's no word yet on when the smartphone will be start shipping in India, but with the price now listed on the Play Store, the official launch should happen within the next week or so

Google Nexus 6 has the following specs

Manufactured by Motorola,
Comes with a 5.96-inch QHD (1440x2560 pixels) display at 493PPI.
The smartphone is powered by a 2.7GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor

4.Microsoft has released a press statement that their office suit which comprises of word, power point and other hit apps will be offered for free on android and iOS, without the need for an Office 365 subscription.

5. You will be presented with this:

1.Chinese manufacturer Xiaomi. It has been said that the company is planning on entering the camera segment with a new device similar to the GoPro-style action camera and will have a price tag of approximate Rs 10,000.company is planning on integrating a 138-degree wide angel lenses with 4K video recording at 30fps. It also features Full-HD video recording at 120fps. The website also mentioned that the company might add in support for micro-SD card and will be expandable up to a whooping 128GB.

2.Amazon.com has launched "Amazon Echo", a speaker you leave on all day and give it voice directions, like Siri on an Apple Inc iPhone.Amazon said the speaker, which runs on Amazon Web Services, continually learns a user's speech patterns and preferences.Users start the speaker up saying the wake up word, "Alexa".They can then feed Amazon Echo commands or questions or, if they want, wirelessly stream music web services such as Spotify, iTunes and Pandora via their mobiles.
Amazon Echo is priced at $199, or $99 for members for the online retail giant's Amazon Prime loyalty scheme. It is available on an invitation-only basis in coming weeks.

3.Samsung has hinted at a new range of smartphones under a new series, similar to the Galaxy A series. The electronics giant hasn't shared any other details about the new smartphone family and its not clear what they’ll have to offer in terms of specs or design.
Samsung stated “soon come up with new smartphone range with single letter naming convention, similar to that of the Galaxy A series.” According to reports Samsung is also working on its next flagship smartphone 'the Galaxy S6' aka Project Zero and aims to create a completely new design, different from its previous flagship models.

4.Popular open world game Grand Theft Auto V is soon going to include a first-person mode.is going to add the mode for Xbox One and Playstation 4 consoles. In addition, the FPS mode will also come to the PC version of GTA V.
The Xbox One and Playstation 4 versions of GTA V will be available from November 18 onwards and the PC version will come from January 27, 2015.

5.No the pics u see below is not of the iphone 6 or any or any of its cousins but it is a lookalike of the iphone 6 the the new Lenovo Sisley S90 Lenovo is launching the phone is China for Yuan 1,999 (Rs. 20,000 approx) The Lenovo Sisley S90 boasts of a 5-inch AMOLED HD screen and is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 410 chipset. The quad-core CPU is clocked at 1.2 GHz and is accompanied by 1GB of RAM. The phone offers 16GB internal storage, and uses a 13MP rear camera and an 8MP front facing camera. The delayed write error could be a sign of failing hard drive. But do not get tensed try these tips to see if you need to replace your hard drive or not

1.Backup your hard drive data As Soon As Possible!!!
2.Open your computer CPU and see if your hard drive's cable is loose or not
3.If you notice that your cable's damaged you'll have to replace them
4.Do a format of your Hard Drive see if that works!
5.Even if these steps do not work, then you may have to buy a new hard drive

I recently bought the PS3 12 GB, that is my first console and i got quite a lot of time with it. I was curious as to what my console can do. What are its limitations, where it shines.
So here are my findings, and on that here are my Top 5 Tips and Tricks About the PS3

Did you know that you can buy games from any country and they will run perfectly on your PS3? That is possible because no PS3 games are region locked. According to Wikipedia Region Locking is" is a class of digital rights management preventing the use of a certain product or service, such as multimedia or a hardware device, outside of a certain region or territory. A regional lockout may be enforced through physical means, through technological means such as detecting the user's IP address or using an identifying code, or through unintentional means introduced by devices only supporting certain regional technologies (such as video formats, i.e. NTSC and PAL)." But beware all Blu-Ray DVD's are region locked and they may or may not run on your PS3

You can turn on the PS3 without touching the on/ off button- To do this first turn on the PS3 from the mains. Wait till the red light turns on. Then press the PS Button on your controller to turn on the PS3.

You can see how much charging is left in your controller- To do this, first turn on the PS3, and long press the PS Button and the screen will change to this, and if you notice, in the lower left hand side it shows you the Charge left in the controller

How to backup all your game saves- To backup all your game saves. Plug in any USB Pen Drive on the PS3

Go To Games

Go To Saved Games

Go to the games that have been saved

Click on Triangle

Choose Copy

Choose Destination as the PenDrive

Wait till its done

You can install custom themes to your PS3- To do this download any PS3 theme(Search Google for that), Download that theme, Create a THEME folder(yes all in caps), Put the theme into it attach the PD onto the PS3. Go to Settings, Theme

New iPads Rumour Rundown

So iPad air 2(if that's what it will be called)is going to be unveiled tomorrow, and here's what i think's gonna change.

In my opinion there will be another iPad probably a bigger size but that can be a problem for others because i have large hands and i own an iPad 2 and this is very practical, but if a bigger iPad gets launched, then it can get a little hard to handle those iPads

Display

As usual the display's resolution's gonna be better because the iPhone 6 and the 6 Plus got better resolution so this one's definitely coming, Also as i was saying about the large iPad it is rumoured to be around 12 inches!! WOW too large don't you think?
I hope the iPads will be fingerprint resistant and with olephobic coating, because my iPad looks yuck wen turned off

Design

As usual the design's gonna be slimmer, may be available in gold, silver and space black.

Hardware

The iPads will surely get more processor power the A8 as seen in the iPhone 6 and the 6 Plus, with iOS 8, better camera's are expected with better video recording

New Features

Hopefully the iPads will get 2 GB RAM, Touch ID, and as rumours suggest there might be no 16 GB version this time

2.If you are getting problems in using your card format it! Do not do it a lot of times
3.When you are using it on a computer always, always safetly remove it
4.Do not "hot Swap" your memory card
Hot swapping is removing and inserting another card while the phone is in use, even your phone supports this
5.Keep a backup of your card
6.Keep a backup card in case your memory card gives up
7.Keep backing up your memory cards once a while

I recently bought the PS3 12 GB and i found that i couldn't install more than one game in the system. Then i realized the PS3 had an opening for Hard Drives, and i thought why not install a Hard Drive in the PS3. So here is how you can install a HDD into your PS3

The requirements to install a HDD into a PS3, you need

A PS3

A Laptop Hard Drive

The Box in which the PS3 came in

PS3 Hard Disk Drive Mount(you can see its review here)

So there are two ways to do this lets get started with the one, if you do not have the PS3 Hard Disk Drive Mount

Open up the PS3

You will notice a small opening for the HDD to be installed

Cut 2 pieces of cardboard from the box that the PS3 came in

Put the HDD corresponding to the pins in the PS3

Put one piece of cardboard below and one above so that it doesn't move

Close the PS3 and test

There should be an option that asks if you want to transfer your saved files to the HDD choose Yes and Enjoy

With the HDD mount

Buy a HDD Mount

Open up

Screw the HDD corresponding to the Mount

Screw in the Mount to the PS3(the blue screw)

Close the PS3 and test

There should be an option that asks if you want to transfer your saved files to the HDD choose Yes and Enjoy

The Bracket is made by Sony, there are cheap ones available too, but i won't recommend them, as Sony makes Playstations and it would be best to install the Bracket from the company that makes the product. The bracket costed 700 Rupees(12$) buying from online, and offline might cost you 800 Rupees(13$). The price is on the heavier side.

Build quality looks good, feels sturdy.

1 TB of Hard Drive can be attached to the PS3, and practically 1TB is a huge space for installing all your favourite games, videos, photos, etc
Some money can be saved if you buy a 12 GB PS3 and buy a 1TB Hard Drive from somewhere else and install it
The Bracket is quite easy to install, the installation will take just 2-5 minutes considering you are a newbie in computers, just screw in your hard drive to the bracket and another screw into the PS3
The build quality is good, the bracket is made from a solid piece of metal
Good packaging of the bracket, very well made

The pricing could be better, considering it is just a piece of metal, and some screws
The bracket is only compatible with the PS3 SuperSlim, and not with any other PS3 Models, what if a person has an older version of the PS3, and his/her bracket broke accidently. The person cannot get a new one. He/She might have to buy a second hand

Only a 2.5 Inch laptop Hard Drive can be installed, a normal 3.5 Inch Computer Hard Drive cannot be installed, on it
According to the manual the Speed must be upto 7200 RPM, or else the PS3 can heat up!! As if it doesn't heat up now Sony!!
The manual is very thick, i wonder how many trees they chopped up to make this manual.
The manual has a lot of Languages,but Hindi is missing. Considering i have bought it in India. Also no Indian languages were there in the manual.
