Tired Of Work From Home Jobs? Now You Can Work From Space!

2021-10-28T00:22:00.000+05:30

The Commercial Work From Space Station Is Called "Orbital Reef"

Are you tired of doing work from home? Jeff Bezos' Blue Origin unveils plans for a business Park in Space, launch before 2030.

The commercial work from space station is called "Orbital Reef"!

Blue Origin, American spaceflight company owned by billionaire Jeff Bezos, announced that it is aiming to develop a commercial space station called Orbital Reed along with Sierra Space Corporation, a division of Sierra Nevada Corporation, airplane manufacturer Boeing, as part of Bezos' next plans for outer space.

The company said that it is aiming to launch this space station, a sort of 'business park' in the cosmos, in the second half of this decade, i.e. after 2025.

Blue Origin said the 32,000 sq ft station would provide customers with an ideal location for "film-making in microgravity" or "conducting cutting-edge research" and said it would also include a "space hotel".

The station will open the next chapter of human space exploration and development by facilitating the growth of a vibrant ecosystem and business model for the future.

Orbital Reef will be operated as a "mixed use business park", and plans to provide the infrastructure need to scale economic activity and open new markets in space, Blue Origin and Sierra Space said.

"Seasoned space agencies, high-tech consortia, sovereign nations wothout space programs, media and travel companies, funded entrepreneurs and sponsored inventors, and future-minded investors all have a place on Orbital-Reef," the companies said in a statement.

Blue Origin describes the Orbital Reef station which would inhabit up to 10 people.

For over sixty years, Nasa and other space agencies have developed orbital space flight and space habitation, setting us up for commercial business to take off in this decade," news agency AFP quoted Blue Origin executive Brent Sherwood. "We will expand access, lower the cost, and provide all the services and amenities need to normalise spade flight."

The companies collaborating with Blue Origin for the private space station include LIFE habitat (Large Integrated Flexible Environment; essentially an inflatable space station module) which plans to use its Dream Chaser spacecraft to transport cargo an crew to-and-form the station. Redwire Space will run the station's payload operations and will build deployable structures.

It is currently rated as safe until and new administrator Bill Nelson has said he hopes it will last until 2030, by which time NASA wants the commercial sector to step up and replace it. Blue Origin currently only flies in the suborbital space with its New Shepard rocket, which blasted Star Trek actor William Shatner beyond the atmosphere, earlier this month. Blue Origin has other projects including New Glenn, a rocket that can fly cargo and people into orbit, and a lunar lander.

Meet India's First Crypto Billionaires Who Invented Polygon

2021-06-16T22:33:00.000+05:30

Here Is The Successful Trio Of Crypto Billionaires!

These three people of India named "Jaynti Kanani, Sandeep Nailwal and Anurag Arjun" are the first ever crypto billionaires who invented the crypto named "Polygon".

The valuation of Polygon's native token, Matic, has zoomed from a mere $26 million when it was first issued in 2019 to over $14 billion, turning its co-founders into billionaires.

Jaynti Kanani, Sandeep Nailwal and Anurag Arjun co-founded Polygon (formerly Matic), a blockhain scalability platform in 2017. It was created to solve the problem of high fees and slow transactions on ethereum, the world's second largest cryptocurrency by market capitalization. Polygon rests on ethereum, but allows users to build applications on Polygon at a far lower cost than ethereum. The valuation of Polygon's native token, Matic, has zoomed from a mere $26 million when it was first issued in 2019 to over $14 billion. The rise in Matic's price has turned its co-founders into billionaires, part of it stemming from their current stakes in the cryptocurrency at around 4-5%. Billionaires' investor Mark Cuban of Shark Tank fame, who is also the owner of the National Basketball Association's (NBA) Dallas Mavericks, recently invested an undisclosed sum into Polygon. Data in the crypto world is difficult to verify and there might me other Indians who have generated significant wealth who are not publicly known. Some officials asked the questions to Nailwal. Edited experts:

Can You Give Us Some Background On Yourself And Your Co-Founders?

I am from Delhi originally. My co-founders are from Mumbai and Ahmedabad and our head office is in Bengaluru. I studied engineering and computer science. After that I worked for two years as a software engineer. Then I did my MBA, specializing in information technology and then worked with Deloitte and then Wellspun E-commerce (where I was the CTO). I then launched a website for white-collar services, think of it like a Flipkart for services. The business did not scale as much as I wanted, and I started reading about artificial intelligence and technologies such as blockchain. I went back to programming and met my co-founders. kanani is also a computer science engineer, and he was working with Housing.com as a data scientist. He later tried to build a few apps such as prediction market for Game of Thrones where he wanted a global payment method. This is what brought him into blockchain. Arjun is also a serial entrepreneur. He was working into IRIS, a software used by institutions such as central banks. Arjun launched a GST-related stratup before meeting us. Mihailo Bjelic, our fourth co-founder, who is Serbian origin, was working on a similar solution as Matic. He joined us last year as we rebranded from Matic to Polygon.

Is The Maharashtra Government Exploring The Polygon Blockchain For Maintaining Covid Test Results?

They are not formally working with us, but there are few vendors who are working with the Maharashtra government who are using Polygon. I think the government might have shared a mandate about having test results on a public blockchain and this might be a test project. Nobody needs our permission or needs to collaborate with us to build something on Polygon. For example, the shipping documents of the Egyptian government are posted on the Polygon blockchain only by another vendor.

How Did Polygon Come Into Being?

My co-founders and I came up with the proof of concept in 2017. By April 2018, we set up the company and raised some small funds from friends and family and started building the product. That round was just $150,000 (around 1,09,98,330 Rs.) After that, we did another small round of around $500,000 (around 3,66,61,100 Rs.). After that, we did an initial exchange offering with Binance, where we raised $5 million. In the initial few years, I started building the ecosystem in India. The whole environment around cryptocurrency was unfavorable. Developers were afraid of legal hassles. You see, we are a tech platform, and we don't build apps ourselves. People build apps on top of our platform. Community building is thus very important. We did a lot of hackathons in India - in the last 2 years, we must have done 200-300 hackathons in colleges and other places. We use India as a strength rather than a weakness.

Is Polygon More Environment-Friendly Than Bitcoin?

In proof of work, which is used by Bitcoin, computers have to solve complex mathematical problems. In bitcoin, you cannot be a miner on your laptop, you need huge complex computers, and this is environment-unfriendly due to electricity consumption. In proof to stake, which Polygon uses, you do not need massive computing power. You have to stake tokens. Only a few hundred machines need to run mining here, making electricity consumption a small fraction of the usage by bitcoin!

Is There A Risk Of Someone Taking Over The Polygon Network?

In proof of work, if someone wants to take over the network, they need to have more than 51% mining power, although this is not decisive. The other 49% can reject the false blocks and fork into a new chain. In proof of stake, you need to have an even higher 66% mining power - this would be currently worth around $1.8 billion tokens for Polygon. Even here the community will reject the false blocks and the person attempting the takeover will risk the worth of his or her tokens - they will lose value in such a scenario. These in-built safeguards are essentially socio-economic incentives that manage decentralized networks.

How Will Polygon's Integration With Mark Cuban's Lazy.com Work?

Lazy.com is a Non-Fungible Token (NFT) platform. They work on ethereum, which is really costly. Right now, the minimum size of the NFT needs to be something like $500 to afford $50 in gas fees. But on Polygon, gas fees will be fraction of a cent which allows you to sell lower-priced NFTs.

What Is The Road Ahead For You?

We are not really in need of money. Our investments going forward will be strategic in nature where the individuals coming onboard will bring larger value than just money. We are US-listed and regulated with our listing on Coinbase, and this brings institutional investors to Polygon. Mark Cuban is a huge angel investor, and we are getting his help to onboard entities such as Lazy.com

"Tesla" Burgers Arriving As Elon Musk's EV Firm Plans Restaurant Chain

2021-06-08T18:02:00.000+05:30

Be Ready For The "TESLA" Burger!!

Elon Musk is gearing up to launch his own drive-in-food chain at Supercharger locations as his electric car company Tesla has applied for a new trademark for its brand under restaurant services.

According to a report in Electrek, the company has applied for three new trademarks with the United States Patent and Trademark Office that will cover the categories of "Restaurant services, pop-up restaurant services, self-service restaurant services, take-out restaurant services."

"The application is awaiting examination and will be reviewed by an attorney around August 27," the report said on Tuesday.

Tesla's iconic 'T' logo is featured on the application, to be trademarked for use by its branded restaurants.

Way back in 2017, then Tesla CTO JB Straubel had said that the company might move into the restaurant business.

In 2018, Musk said in a tweet: "Gonna put an old school drive-in, roller skates and rock restaurant at one of the new Tesla Supercharger locations in LA."

A few months later, Tesla applied for building permits for -- restaurant and Supercharger station -- at a location in Santa Monica in the US.

The project went into cold storage for about three years and now, a new building application has been submitted earlier this year.

The new development probably means that the company plans for a 'Tesla' branded restaurant chain.

With more than 25,000 Superchargers, Tesla owns and operates the largest global fast charging network in the world located on major routes near convenient amenities.

We think that we can't do anything from home but we can make a small change in our lifestyle and plant a tree and even can change the world by this small step taken by us.

The company states in its privacy policy that it does not create personal profiles based on search history, nor does it use external tracking tools like Google Analytics.

Ecosia shows advertisements next to its search results and is paid by partners every time a user is directed to an advertiser via a sponsored link. A single search on Ecosia raises approximately half a Euro cent (0.005 EUR) on average, according to Ecosia's FAQ, taking 0.22 euro and as of July 2020, or 0.75 seconds to plant a tree.

White Papers are no less editorial than other forms of content, but the depth of research lends them an authoritative tone.

"As a figure entrenched in both crypto and humanitarianism, VOLQAN inspired us to open the gate between the two. The small-cap cryptocurrency space is one of the few wild wests left on the internet. Buoyed by a frothing mix of humour and type, everyday retail investors put their money into these speculative assets hoping to see a return." says VOLQAN Founder.

There is massive amount of capital and energy: a swirling vortex of internet culture and high-risk investments that they know could become so much more capital that would have never seen its way to a charitable organization, and now unites their community into something for the greatest good.

Forever, embracing their roots in memes and internet culture, they have called their community to something greater than themselves. VOLQAN leverages the raw power of memes to ease the suffering of millions through charitable giving.

VOLQAN doesn't just enable passive large-sum donations, in fact they engage in fruitful discussions with charitable organizations, bridging them to the crypto space, and giving them access to a new world of capital and support.

"We aim to give stability and a steady growth for our investors. We believe if the stakeholders are happy then we are also happy" says Zarif Can (Marketing Manager). "Yes, the markets right now are taking a blood bath but this should be a sign for new investors to research before actually buying a coin or token, there is no such thing as easy, quick money in this world." he added.

In the last whole year, 12 crore people all over India were scammed in a similar way. Cybercriminals are literally working overtime these days, because when people are scared, they see the best opportunities to do the SCAM!

The next issue is not a scam but raises a serious issue. Many more children all over India has lost their both parents due to Covid-19. A post like this went viral on social India. It seems like a good intention but child traffickers can make use of this data. Some days ago, such a case was reported by Singapore Police Force. Don't Have Enough Oxygen For Covid-19 Patients? Don't Worry, Ola Will Arrange Oxygen For You!

Ola has announced that it will start free delivery and pick up of oxygen concentrators through the Ola app for Covid-19 relief in India. The taxi-hailing service has partnered with GiveIndia Foundation for its "O2forIndia" initiative that aims to provide free and easy access to oxygen concentrators to those in need. The doorstep delivery service has been introduced to help those suffering from Covid-19 as daily cases in India breached the 400,000 mark on several days last week.

The second wave of Covid-19, more disastrous than the first one, has overwhelmed the medical infrastructure and caused over 200,000 death in India!

One of biggest issues to arise during the second wave has been the non-availability of life-saving resources such as oxygen concentrators and cylinders. This has forced users to head to social platforms to ask for help.

Ola looks to help bridge this gap with its new service that will allow people to seek delivery of oxygen concentrators through the app. Both delivery and pick up are free of cost and Bengaluru is the first city where Ola has begun this service.

Co-Founder of Ola Cabs, Bhavish Aggarwal tweeted to inform that this service will expand to other cities in India in the coming weeks.

"We hope this initiative brings much-needed support during these very difficult times and helps in mitigating the pain and the anxiety among those impacted," Aggarwal adds. The company's driver partners have undergone training across sensitivity and safety while delivering and picking up of these O2 cylinders.

Ola supports also tweeted. "All our drivers who are a part of this initiative have undergone intensive training across safety and sensitivity. We are ensuring the best standards for the O2 Concentrators to reach those who need them safely."

A screenshot shared by a user in Bengaluru reveals that users will have to pay a refundable safety deposit of Rs.5000 per machine, which has a capacity of 5 litres. If an oxygen concentrator is not available, the Ola app will inform the user with a message saying, "all oxygen concentrators in your area are currently in use. We are actively looking out for one that could be yours. Please check back to know when it's available."

KFC Gaming Console Has A Built-In 'Chicken Chamber' To Keep Your Meal Warm🔥🔥

KFC announced Tuesday the creation of a new gaming console, KFConsole, which has a built-in "chicken chamber" to keep food warm in while users play.
The bucketlike console has a cooling system that transfer the heat from the components to the chicken chamber, keeping the hardware cool and the chicken warm.
The chicken chain has partnered with Cooler Master, Intel, Asus, and Seagate to create the KFConsole.
"If Sony or Microsoft want any tips on how to engineer a chicken chamber for their efforts next time, they'd be welcome to get in touch, "the public-relations and social-media lead at KFC UK and Ireland said.

The fast-food chain KFC has created a new high-end gaming console that comes with a built-in "chicken chamber" to keep your chicken warm while you play.

KFC teamed up with Cooler Master to create the "KFConsle," the chicken chain said in a statement on Tuesday. It is essentially a high-end gaming PC with components made by Intel, Asus, and Seagate.

It's a powerful machine: KFC says it can run games at 4K resolution at 240 frames per seconand "finger lickin' good" chicken warm.d - more than the PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X can manage. It can also run virtual-reality games, according to KFC and Cooler Master's website.

The bucketlike console has a cooling system that transfers the heat produced by the components to the chicken chamber, helping to keep the hardware cool

"The Bargain Bucket-shaped machine features the world's first built in chicken chamber, which is kitted out to keep its contents hot, ready for consumption during intense gaming sessions," KFC said.

Cooler Master didn't immediately respond to Business Insider's request for comment. An Intel spokesperson said they didn't have anything additional to share at this stage beyond the details on the Cooler Master website.

The coast and release date of the KFConsole haven't yet been announced.

It also includes an Intel Nuc 9 Extreme Compute Element and two Seagate BarraCuda 1TB SSD drives for storage, Cooler Master said.

"This machine is capable of running games at top-level specs, all on top of keeping your meal warm for you to enjoy during your gaming experience...what's not to like?" Mark Cheevers, the public-relations and social-media lead at KFC UK and Ireland, said in the statement.

"If Sony or Microsoft want any tips on how to engineer a chicken chamber for their efforts next time, they'd be welcome to get in touch," he said.

Stephen James, the global PR and influencer manager at Cooler Master, said in the press release: "When we were approached by KFC Gaming to make the KFConsole, we jumped at the chance to get involved and enter the console war."

He added: "The KFConsole has been custom built with the gamer at the front of mind. The last thing we want is anyone to go hungry while playing!"

One Twitter user responded to KFC's tweet by asking how "Cyberpunk 2077," which has sold more than 13 million copies, would run on the console. KFC replied: "It runs better than any console."

This isn't the only mind-boggling invention KFC has come up with in recent years.

In February, the fast-food chain collaborated with Crocs to create shoes with friend chicken painted on them, topped with a chicken-scented charm. The shoes sold out within half an hour after their launch in July.

KFC announced the release of its 11 herbs & Spices Firelog in December 2018 - basically a log that smells like fired chicken.
