But the thing is try to find out whether they are allowing the entire day for the last date of free period or just couple of hours and after that they simply charge you Or if you issue the Cheque in the last date i.e. in 42th day and the cheque got 3 days for normal clearing in the bank then Credit Card company is going to charge you late payment fees because now the time is 42+3 days =45 days.
But you can simply avoid this just by calculating like this – always minus 3 working days from 42 that means you have 39 free days for payment. And issue the cheque on 39th Day to the Credit Card company so that they may not have any thing left out for charging late payment fees to your hard earned money.

Another Example:

So if your credit card company is giving you 30 days free period then issue them cheque on 27th days and likewise.

Under any circumstances do not let them to cross them the time limit because with late payment fees not only they charge you the amount but also they will charge you relevant service tax or other relevant taxes applicable to the respective country.

Credit Card Credit Negotiation

Credit Card Credit Negotiation

By: Brad L Hodges

Regardless of the stage you are in the debt cycle; ready to file bankruptcy or simply a month behind on your payments, there are always alternatives to look at.A logical choice is to use a company that specializes in consolidating debt but will probably charge you for the service.Perhaps a better choice is to negotiate directly with the credit card companies you owe debt to.

There is a very high likelihood that your credit card debt holders will be willing to negotiate with you. This is apparent by the fact that you are taking ownership yourself and in good conscience willing to pay the debt. Be aware, however, that even if you are showing a willingness to negotiate, it does not mean you are totally escaping the outcome. The fact is that when you negotiate debt with any creditor you are only negotiating the size of your obligations but you are not eliminating all that was charged to the credit card! The fact will remain that when it is reported to the credit bureaus it may be reported as charged off which indicates the debt was not paid in full.

One of the best things that you can do for yourself when you are trying to make a credit card debt negotiation with one of your creditors; is to go with a professional credit card debt negotiation company; which specifically deals with credit card debt negotiations. Most often when people use a professional credit card negotiation company, they have been known to get better "deals" for people than if the people tried to make the negotiations themselves! One of the many reasons why the professionals are able to get better deals is because they strictly deal with making negotiations and also because they known how to barter with the creditors!

All said, if you are seriously considering negotiating your credit card debt, then the wisest choice you can make is to seek the services of a professional credit counseling company to do your negotiation. Not only will you be able to get the help you need, but you will be happier paying a lower debt! One of the best ways to get the help from a professional credit card debt negotiator is by looking up and reading up on many of them on the Internet. It is there; that you will be able to see which ones are really the good guys and which are not!

Article source: Articlecat.com

Author: Brad Hodges is the CEO of Brad Hodges Enterprises.
