Recently, Bigg Boss makers released a promo for the upcoming season of the show featuring Host Akkineni Nagarjuna. In a short time, the promo managed to hype up the already excited audience. They cannot wait for the show to premiere. But wait, we are here to give you some exciting news.

There is something that Star Maa is planning. As you may know, the Hindi version of Bigg Boss is currently airing BB OTT on Voot with Karan Johar as the host. Nayanthara, Samantha and Vijay Sethupathi are shooting for Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal in Puducherry. A shooting spot video featuring the three actors surfaced on social media. It shows, Nayanthara, Samantha and Sethupathi recreating the iconic bus scene from Kamal Haasan and Amala's song Valai Osai from their hit film, Sathya. The video is going viral on social media.

Samantha recently flew down from Hyderabad to Chennai for the shooting of her upcoming film, Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal. She then travelled to Puducherry along with the team for the shooting. Currently, director Vignesh Shivan is shooting the scenes featuring these three actors.

It has become a custom for Ram Charan’s films to get bad reviews on the first day and do tremendously well at the Box Office. Charan’s latest film Govindudu Andarivadele is not an exception. This film got mixed reviews on its first day and few sections of media tried very hard to kill the movie in many ways. However, GAV gave a strong reply to all the critics and shut all the wagging tongues with a wonderful show at the box office.

Govindudu Andarivadele collected over 35 crore rupees share (global) in its first week. It has surpassed Race Gurram’s first week’s tally to reach the top three list of all time best opening week collections. Attarintiki Daredi is still sitting on top of this list and Charan’s Yevadu holds second place. Govindudu Andarivadele is a very slow paced family film without much comedy and mass friendly elements. A film of this genre to get such big numbers is not a joke.
Although GAV got benefitted by the Holiday period, it has done exceptionally well for its genre. It is still doing steady business at the box office and is sure to make it to the forty crore club by the end of this week. GAV’s numbers could have been better had the reviews been in favor of the movie. Bad reviews have affected its prospects especially in US. That said, GAV has done well in US despite bad reviews. It has collected better than previous hits of Ram Charan in this region.

Superstar Mahesh Babu took a break from his busy schedule to spend some quality time with his family. Reports say that the Superstar left for Bangkok along with his family and they will also visit Malaysia. ‘Shiva’, the 25 year old game changer of Telugu cinema became a sudden buzz everywhere. Yesterday, majority of Siva’s cast and crew including director Ram Gopal Varma, hero Nagarjuna, heroine Amala and others have held a special media meet to celebrate the event.

Till that moment, there were no plans to re-release this iconic movie. In a bid to restore the age-old film output of ‘Shiva’, Annapurna Studios has spent a bomb to digitally scan and restore the movie. The whole of post-production process for this 1989 release happened in Mumbai and right now a high-res print is ready.

Nagarjuna has now decided to re-release this flick in select theatres across the world, once he finds a suitable date and availability of screens. If rumours are to be believed, comedy star Allari Naresh, who is one of the bankable star for small budget movies, has reportedly lashed out at superstars for spoiling the genre of comedy. Instead of taking names, the Seematapakai star felt that big stars doing comedy instead of doing action roles and larger-than-life roles are leaving no space with small actors like him.

In a private conversation with a young director, son of EVV, felt that small stars survive on ‘comedy’ whereas big stars can do different themes, since they have a established fan following, but they shouldn’t get into a smaller zone by doing comedy flicks. With Pawan, Mahesh, NTR, Prabhas doing comic-driven roles, his worry looks, reasonable.

Ace comedian Brahmanandam is on the verge of setting new record in the history of Indian Cinema. Brahmanandam this year is going to complete his 1000th film and the star comedian is just three movies away to achieve this feat. Brahmi is close to the landmark 1000th film and is all excited. Talking about this, Brahmi openly admitted, “Earlier I had a feeling that I’m the sole responsible for my success which I later realized that without divine support, I’d not have achieved anything in my life. All the credit goes to God. It’s he who made it possible. After my stint as a lecturer in college, I forayed into films and came a long way. I’ve done 997 films so far. Loukyam is my 997th movie. Nothing could have been possible, without God.”

The big marathons of big films that have hit Tollywood in last couple of months have literally disappointed many cine lovers as none could match expectations. But it seems like Ram Charan is going to suffice the hunger, as we hear the ‘talk’ from Censor Board.

Censored with U/A, Govindudu Andarivadele is gearing up for a ‘mega’ release on October 1st as scheduled. Reports have that the whole film has loads of comedy, sentiment, peak emotions and romance. As songs are quite romantic in trademark Krishna Vamsi style and some ‘cozy’ scenes between Charan and Kajal are slightly above boundaries, GAV fetched this U/A certificate, say sources.

However Censor Board members got struck with the clean portrayal of family bonding and lauded Krishnavamsi’s unconventional approach. Insiders felt that Govindudu is going to be another 45+ crore wonder in Charan’s career. Let us wait till October 1st before making any conclusions.

'1-Nenokkadine' Business to Close Soon?

Prince mahesh babu's '1-Nenokkadine', though, received very poor response from the audiences, could manage to collect Rs.24.67 crores in its first week run world wide, thanks to the festive season of Pongal. With aggressive promotions by the makers, and for chopping off the film's length for 20 minutes, the movie was expected to pick up momentum in its second week's run. However, nothing of that sort is happening.

As per the trade reports, the movie collected a share of just Rs.20 lakhs in AP on its 11th day of release. In many areas the movie collected Rs.1 lakh, Rs.2 lakhs etc. In Nizam, the movie collected Rs.7 lakhs. The main theaters such as Kakinada- S1 theater with Rs.4000, Rajahmundry- Kumari theater with Rs.1500 got day deficits. Wish that the movie picks p momentum in the second weekend.

'Yevadu' Malayalam Version's Release Date!!

Mega Power Star Ram Charan's blockbuster film 'Yevadu's Malayalam version 'bhaiyya' was earlier supposed to be released on 12th January, the same day of Telugu version's release. However, due to the delay in post production work of the film, the released date has been deferred. Buzz is that the makers are planning to release the movie on 31st of January. Since Allu Arjun and Ram Charan have good craze in Kerala, the movie is expected to do good business in Kerala. K.Manju has acquired the Malayalam version's rights with a fancy price.

'Yevadu' features Shruthi Haasan and Amy Jackson as the lady leads while Kajal was seen in cameo role. Music of the movie was composed by Devi Sri Prasad. Vamsi Pydipally directed the movie on Sri Venkateswara Creations.
