I confess that I think you're right, though I don't know how I could have been more clear that this is the case, other than coming right out and saying "Dakota Voice is moving to American Clarion" or "Dakota Voice IS American Clarion, just under another name at another web address."

Bob, I'm wondering if there is some confusion in people thinking that Dakota Voice is not American Clarion. I see some comments that make me think people are disappointed that Dakota Voice is "gone," but that is not the case. Dakota Voice IS American Clarion, but American Clarion is broader and bigger than Dakota Voice. Everything and everyone that readers like about Dakota Voice are still at American Clarion, but there's more than that, too.

It's always a little back-setting when you launch a new brand, and that's what I was getting at in my post. You'll undoubtedly lose, at least initially, some readers who get confused by the change, but maybe you'll throw off some of your most vicious detractors as well.

Gina pretty much covered it all, but I wanted to thank you for your kind words.

I'm still cleaning up rough edges on American Clarion (had crazy delays and setbacks like you wouldn't believe--must really be ticking Satan off!), and it'll be a while before the hit stream comes back up to where DV was, but with the Lord's help, we'll get there. In my mind, it's His enterprise anyway; I just work here. :-)

Iraq actually WAS unfinished business; you should read up on history. Iraq agreed at the end of the Persian Gulf War (after Iraq invaded its neighbor Kuwait, and we repelled them) to weapons inspections to ensure his WMD programs had been completely dismantled. From the beginning, he began to renege on his word and interfere with inspectors. He finally kicked them out completely. Iraq also fired on US and British planes regularly--over 200 times in the year prior to the 2003 invasion--with each instance an act of war. Iraq was also openly sponsoring terrorism against our ally Israel, and covertly working with other terrorist groups involved in international terrorism.

I don't know about you, but Ron Paul has long been in a position to know the facts and know better than the crap that comes out of his mouth so frequently. If he doesn't know better, he's derelict in his duty as a US congressman, and if he does know better, he's nothing but a liar.

Thanks, Gina! Glad to hear it. I was a little worried that some unspoken financial/time constraints were taking a toll and that it was a soft way of saying that DV was folding into another org. I'm confident in the prospect of continuing excellence in writing and exposing of the pernicious lie.

Bush was not full of "glee" that 9/11 happened, but he saw it as an opportunity to get the American people behind his plan to take care of the unfinished business with Iraq. Paul used an unfortunate word in "glee" but it referred to Bush and Cheney's aggressive planning, not to the tragedy of 9/11 itself.

Maybe Obama and his people would like to help the United States? They go with them when they're deported and explain it isn't fair to live here and suck off the United States.Obama could deliver a bill for the maintenance and care of each countries citizens. We could use that to pay our illegal alien expenses. It's going to take a long time though to clean up the mess the illegals have made in our system though...

Not a shred of support for your lie that the Nazis said the GOP was the "vanguard of fascist values."Your second "reference" doesn't mean squat either. The Koch brothers that Leftists loathe today were a little young for supporting Nazis or fascism. Whatever the Koch family may have done in the past has no bearing whatsoever on what any particular Koch does today. One of my grandfathers was a racist (he was a Democrat, too, incidentally, as were most of the racists throughout American history) who hated blacks and Jews, yet you won't find a better friend to blacks or Jews than me (not trying to toot my own horn, just pointing out a stark contrast in one family). The Left has always used euphemistic titles to cover their real beliefs. This was true of "liberal," which socialists usurped in the early 20th century. In its original meaning I would most certainly consider myself a liberal.

You've heard of "protection money" right? We see businesses today which, ostensibly, should be supporting free market politicians but instead contribute to the socialist Democrat Party. Many businesses pay socialists to, regardless of public bluster, hopefully go easy on them in the tyranny department. Also, as in the case of what we call "crony capitalism" today, some businesses have under-the-table sweetheart deals with political figures that would otherwise be anathema to independent businesses and ethical politicians. Of course, some business owners may just have their head stuck so far up their ideological rear end as to not even realize they are contributing to their own destruction.

Regarding your quote about the Nazis calling the Republican Party the "vanguard of fascist values," I wasn't able to find such a statement anywhere, or anything close. Not surprising, since such a statement would be so ludicrous that it could only have meaning as anti-Republican propaganda, since Republicans have always stood for freedom and against tyranny. I can only conclude that, as is common from Leftists, you're either taking something out of context or making it up.
