ಅಲ್ಲ ಸರ್ ಅದು ಕಲ್ಲೇಶಿ...
Present ಸರ್ ...ಅಂತ ನಮ್ಮ ಕಲ್ಲೇಶಿ ನಗ್ತಾ ಹೇಳಿದ :)
ಹಾ ಹಾ ಅಂತ ನಾವೆಲ್ಲಾ ನಗತಿದ್ವಿ ....
ಒಹ್ ಸಾರೀ ಸಾರೀ .. Silence ಅಂತ ನಮ್ಮ lecture ಕೂಗಿ ಮತ್ತೆ ತಮ್ಮ ಎಂದಿನ ರೀತಿ ಅಲ್ಲಿ attendence ತೊಗೊಲೋದನ್ನ ಮುಂದುವರೆಸಿದರು. ಅದು ಆದ್ಮೇಲೆ ಅವರ usual style ಅಲ್ಲಿ , 'lathe is mother machine which makes other machine ' ಅಂತ ಪಾಠ ಶುರು ಮಾಡಿದ್ರು.
ನಾವೆಲ್ಲಾ as usual full interest ಇಂದ ಪಾಠ ಕೇಳ್ತೈದ್ವಿ [please ನಗಬೇಡಿ ನಾನ seroious ಆಗಿ ಹೇಳ್ತಿದೀನಿ].

ಅದು ನಮ್ಮ engineering ನ ಮೊದಲ ವರ್ಷ. ಕ್ಲಾಸ್ ಶುರು ಆಗಿ ಎರಡು ತಿಂಗಳಾದ್ರೂ ಇನ್ನು ಜನ mutual exchange ಅಂತ ಬರ್ತಾನೆ ಇದ್ರೂ ಕ್ಲಾಸಗೆ.

ಅದೇ ತರ ನಮ್ಮ ಕಲ್ಲೇಶಿ ಕೂಡ ಹೊಳೆ ಆಚೆ ಇಂದ ಈಚೆಗೆ ಬಂದಿದ್ದ. ಪಾಪ !!!!!
ಪಾಪ ಯಾಕೆಂದ್ರೆ, ಹೊಳೆ ಆಚೆ ಅವರ ಊರು. ಊರಿಗೆ ಹತ್ರನೇ ಮುಂಚೆ ಇದ್ದ ಕಾಲೇಜ್. ನಮ್ಮ college ಬರಬೇಕು ಅಂದ್ರೆ ಪಾಪ ಅವನು ಸೈಕಲ್ ತುಳಕೊಂಡು ಹರಿಹರದ ವರೆಗೆ ಬಂದು ಅಲ್ಲಿಂದ bus ಅಲ್ಲಿ ದಾವಣಗೆರೆಗೆ ಬರಬೇಕಿತ್ತು.
ಹ್ಮ್ಮ್ಮ್ ..... cycle ತುಳಿಯೋ ಕಷ್ಟ ಗೊತ್ತಾದಮೇಲೆ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಹೊಸ ಹೊಸ ವಿಚಾರಗಳು/ಯೋಚನೆಗಳು ಬರತೊಡಗಿದವು. ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು ಅಂದ್ರೆ cycle ನೆ modify ಮಾಡಿ ಅದಕ್ಕೆ motor ಅಳವಡಿಸುವದು. ಅದು ಒಳ್ಳೆ ಯೋಚನೆನೇ!! ಒಬ್ಬ ಮೆಕ್ಯಾನಿಕಲ್ ಇಂಜಿನಿಯರ್ ಗೆ ಬರಲೆಬೆಕಾದಂತದ್ದು.
ಅವನು ನಮ್ಮ ಕಾಲೇಜ್ಗೆ ಸೇರಿದ್ದು ಒಳ್ಳೆಯದೇ ಆಯ್ತು, ಇಲ್ಲ ಅಂದ್ರೆ ನಾನು ಒಬ್ಬ ಒಳ್ಳೆ friend ನ ಮಿಸ್ ಮಾಡ್ಕೊತಿದ್ದೆ....!!!
ಇ ನಮ್ಮ doubetshi ಗೆ [ ಅರೆ ಇದ್ಯಾರು doubteshi ಅಂತ ತಲೆ ಕೆದಸ್ಕೊಬೇಡಿ ಅದು ನಮ್ಮ ಕಲ್ಲೆಶಿಗೆ ನಾವು ಇಟ್ಟಿರೋ ಇನ್ನೊಂದು ಹೆಸರು :) ].

ಅದು ನಮ್ಮ ಇಂಜಿನಿಯರಿಂಗ್ ನ ಎರಡನೇ ವರ್ಷ. ಒಂದು ಮೆಕ್ಯಾನಿಕಲ್ software course ಗೆ ಸೇರಿದ್ವಿ.ಪ್ರತಿ ದಿವಸ ಸಂಜೆ class ಇರ್ತಿತ್ತು. ಅಲ್ಲಿರೋ receptionists ಸಕತ್ತ cute ಆಗಿದ್ರು. ಮೊದಲಸಲ ನೋಡಿದಾಗ ನಮ್ಮ ಕಲ್ಲು ಅಂತ್ರು full excite ಆಗ್ಬಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದ. Ofcourse ನಾವು ಆಗಿದ್ವಿ ಆದ್ರೆ ತೋರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ ಅಸ್ಟೇ :) :).
ನಮ್ಮ ಕಲ್ಲು ಮತ್ತೆ ಕಿಶೋರ್ ದಿನಾಲು ಕ್ಲಾಸ್ ಮುಗಿದ ಮೇಲೆ ಒಟ್ಟಿಗೆ ಊರಿಗೆ ಹೋಗ್ತಿದ್ರು.

ನಮ್ಮ ಕಲ್ಲುಗೆ ಮರವು ಜಾಸ್ತಿ. ಅವನಿಗೆ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಗಳ ಹೆಸರು ನೆನಪಿಟ್ಟುಕೊಳ್ಳೋದು ತುಂಬಾ ಕಷ್ಟ :).
ಅವನು ಕೆಲವೊಮ್ಮೆ ಎಷ್ಟು confuse ಆಗಿರ್ತಾನಂದ್ರೆ ಜನರ ಮುಖಗಳೇ ನೆನಪಿರಲ್ಲ ಅವನಿಗೆ .

ಹೀಗೆ ಒಂದು ದಿನ class ಮುಗಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಕಿಶೋರ್ ಮತ್ತು ಕಲ್ಲು ಊರಿಗೆ ಹೋಗ್ಬೇಕು ಅಂತ, high school field ವರೆಗೆ ನಡೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗ್ತಿದ್ರು. ಎಂದಿನಂತೆ ನಮ್ಮ ಕಲ್ಲು ಅದು ಹೇಗೆ, ಇದು ಹೇಗೆ, ಅಂತ ಕಿಶೋರನ ತಲೆ ತಿನ್ನುತಾ ಹೆಜ್ಜೆ ಹಾಕ್ತಿದ್ರೆ, ಲೇ ಸುಮ್ನೆ ಬಾರ್ಲೆಪಾ ಅಂತ ಕಿಶೋರ್ ಅವನ್ನ ಏಳದುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗ್ತಿದ್ದ.

sudden ಆಗಿ ನಮ್ಮ ಕಲ್ಲು 'ಏನ್ ಮೇಡಂ ಚೆನ್ನಾಗಿದ್ದೀರ' ಅಂತ ಕೇಳಿದೆ. ಕಲ್ಲುನ ಪರಿಚಯ ಸಿಗದ ಆ ಹೆಂಗಸು ಫುಲ್ confuse ಆಗಿ ತಮ್ಮ ಮನೆ ಒಳಗಡೆ ಹೋಗಿಬಿಟ್ರು. ಅವರ ಪ್ರತಿಕ್ರಿಯ ಇಂದ ಗಲಿಬಿಲಿ ಆದ ಕಲ್ಲು -

ಕಲ್ಲು: ಲೇ ಕಿಶೋರ್, ಯಾಕಲೇ ಅವರು ಏನೋ reply ಮಾಡ್ದೇನೆ ಒಳಗಡೆ ಹೋದರು?
ಕಿಶೋರ್: ನನಗೇನ್ ಲೇ ಗೊತ್ತು. ನೀನ್ ಮಾತಾಡ್ಸಿದ್ದು, ನಿನಗ ಗೊತ್ತಿರಬೇಕು.
ಕಲ್ಲು: ಹ್ಮ್ಮ್ಮಮ್ಮ್ಮ್!!!!

ಕಿಶೋರ್: ಯಾರಲೇ ಅವರು ನಿನಗೆ ಪರಿಚಯದವರಾ?
ಕಲ್ಲು: ಲೇ ಅವರು ನಮ್ಮ CAD ಕ್ಲಾಸ್ receptionist ಅಲ್ವೇನೋ ???
ಕಿಶೋರ್: ಲೇ ಮಂಗಸುವರ್ ... ತೂ ನನ್ನ ಮಗನೆ,ಯಾವ angle ಅಲ್ಲಿ ನಿನಗೆ ಹಂಗೆ ಅನ್ನಸಿದ್ರಲೇ ??
ಕಲ್ಲು: ಲೇ front angle ...!!! ಹಾ ಹಾ ... ಅಲ್ವ ?
ಕಿಶೋರ್: ಹಾ ಹಾ ಹಾ ಲೇ ಲೋಫರ್ ... ಅಲ್ವೋ ಅವರು. ಬ್ಯಾಡಪ್ಪ ಬ್ಯಾಡ .....ನಿನ್ನ ಸಹವಾಸ. ಹಾ ಹಾ .. ಲೇ ಮುಂದೆ ಕಷ್ಟ ಇದೆ ಲೇ ನಿನಗೆ.. :) :)

ಮಾರನೆ ದಿನ ನಾವೆಲ್ಲಾ ನಮ್ಮ ಸೋಮಾರಿ ಕಟ್ಟೆ ಮೇಲೆ ಕುತ್ಕೊಂಡಾಗ ಕಿಶೋರ್ ಹಿಂದಿನ ದಿನದ ಘಟನೆ ಹೇಳಿದಾಗ ನಾವೆಲ್ಲಾ ಹೊಟ್ಟೆ ನೋವು ಆಗೋ ಹಾಗೆ ನಕ್ಕಿದ್ವಿ ....

ಬಿಡು ಮಗಾ ಅವಳು ನಿನಗೆ message ಮಾಡಲ್ಲ ಅಂತಾ ಕುಮಾರ ಹರಿ ಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದ. ನಾವೆಲ್ಲಾ 2nd period ನಡಿಲಿಲ್ಲ ಅಂತಾ ನಮ್ಮ so called ಸೋಮಾರಿ ಕಟ್ಟೆ ಹತ್ರ ಕೂತು ಹರಟೆ ಹೊಡಿತಿದ್ವಿ. ಆದ್ರೆ ಹರಿ ತುಂಬಾ ಬೇಜಾರಾಗಿದ್ದ. ಕುಮಾರ ಅವಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದಾಗ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು ಕ್ಷಣ ಮೌನ.

ಆಗಷ್ಟೇ mobile ಕ್ರಾಂತಿ ಶುರು ಆಗಿತ್ತು. ನಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಬೆರಳೆಣಿಕೆ ಅಸ್ಟು ಜನರಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾತ್ರ ಮೊಬೈಲ್ ಇತ್ತು.ಅವತ್ತು ಹರಿ full excite ಆಗಿ ಮಗಾ spice call rate 10 ಪೈಸೆ ಪ್ರತಿ ನಿಮಿಷಕ್ಕೆ ಮತ್ತೆ ನೂರು message free ಪ್ರತಿ ದಿನಕ್ಕೆ ಅಂತಾ ಕುಮಾರನಿಗೆ ಹೇಳ್ತಿದ್ದಾ. ನಾವೆಲ್ಲಾ ಹೌದೇನೋ ?? ಅಂತಾ ಪಿಳಿ ಪಿಳಿ ಕಣ್ಣು ಬಿಟ್ಟಕೊಂಡು ಅವನ ಹೊಸ ಮೊಬೈಲ್ ನೋಡ್ತಿದ್ವಿ.

ಹರಿ,ಪ್ರಕಾಶ,ನಂದನ,ಕುಮಾರ,ಮತ್ತೆ ಮುನ್ನ ತುಂಬಾ close friends.

ಸುಮಾರು ಒಂದು ತಿಂಗಳ ನಂತರ ಹರಿ ಗೆ ಒಂದು unknown number ಇಂದ ಮೆಸೇಜ್ ಬಂತು. ಅದು ಏನಪ್ಪಾ ಅಂದ್ರೆ-

"hi dear i just reached hubli" ಅಂತಾ ಇತ್ತು. ಹರಿ ಯಾವುದೋ unknown number ಇಂದ ಬಂದಿದ್ದು ಅಂತಾ ತಲೆ ಕೆಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಿಲ್ಲ.

ಅದೇ ದಿನ ಸಂಜೆ ಮತ್ತೆ ಅದೇ ನಂಬರ್ ನಿಂದ ಮತ್ತೊಂದು ಮೆಸೇಜ್ -

ಹರಿ ತಲೆಕೆಟ್ಟು reply ಮಾಡಿದ.

hari: may i know who is this?

ಮಾರನೆ ದಿನ ಸೋಮಾರಿ ಕಟ್ಟೆ ಮೇಲೆ ಕುತಾಗ ಹರಿ ನಿನ್ನೆ ನಡೆದ sms ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದೆ.ಹೌದೇನೋ ಮಗಾ ? ಹುಡುಗಿನಾ? ಅಂತಾ ನಾವೆಲ್ಲಾ full ಆಶ್ಚರ್ಯ ದಿಂದ ಮುಂದೇನು ಹೇಳ್ತ್ತಾನೆ ಅಂತಾ ಕಾಯ್ತಾ ಇದ್ವಿ.ಮತ್ತೆ ಹರಿ ಮುಂದುವರೆಸಿ ಏನಿಲ್ಲ ಮಗಾ ಅವಳ ಯಾವದೋ friend ಗೆ ಮಾಡೋ ಮೆಸೇಜ್ ನನಗೆ miss ಆಗಿ ಬಂದಿದೆ ಅಸ್ಟೇ ಅಂದ. ಅವಾಗ ಪ್ರಕಾಶ, ಲೇ no chance . ನಿನಗೆ ಮಾಡಿರಬೇಕು ಅವಳು ಅಂತಾ ಕಿಚಾಯಿಸಿದ.

ಇಲ್ಲ ಮಗಾ ದೇವರಾಣೆ ... ಹಂಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದು ಅವಳು ಅಂತಾ ಹರಿ ಅಂದ.

ಸರಿ ಲೇ ನೋಡೋಣ ಅವಳಾಗಿ ಅವಳೇ ಏನಾದ್ರೂ ಮತ್ತೆ message ಮಾಡಿದ್ರೆ ಅದು miss ಆಗಿ ಬಂದಿರೋಕೆ ಸಾಧ್ಯನೇ ಇಲ್ಲ ಅಂತಾ ಕುಮಾರ ಅಂದ.

ಛಾಯಾ ಇಂದ ಸಂಜೆ ಒಂದು forward message ಬಂತು. ಕೊನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ good evening ಅಂತಾ ಇತ್ತು. ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಪ್ರತಿ ಆಗಿ ಹರಿ ನು good evening ಅಂತಾ ಕಳಸಿದ. ಮತ್ತೆ ಅವಳಿಂದ ಇನ್ನೊಂದ್ message -

ಆಮೇಲೆ ಹರಿ ಗೆ reply ನೇ ಬರಲಿಲ್ಲ.

ಮಾರನೆ ದಿನ first period bunk ಮಾಡಿದ್ದ hari . ಆಮೇಲೆ ನಮ್ಮ ಹತ್ರ ಎಲ್ಲ ಹೇಳಿದ. last ಗೆ reply ನೆ ಬರಲಿಲ್ರೋ ಅಂತಾ ಬೇಜಾರ್ ಆಗಿದ್ದೆ. ನಾವು ಮತ್ತಿನ್ನೇನು ಮಗನೆ ಆತರ ಹೇಳಿದ್ರೆ ?? ಅಂತಾ ಬೈದ್ವಿ.ಇನ್ನು ಅವಳು message ಮಾಡಲ್ಲ ಬಿಡು ಅಂದ್ವಿ. ನಾನೇ ಇವತ್ತು ಸಂಜೆ ಅವಳಿಗೆ message ಮಾಡಿ sorry ಕೇಳ್ತೀನಿ ಅಂದ ಹರಿ.

ಹಿಂಗೇ ಸುಮಾರು ನಾಲ್ಕು ತಿಂಗಳು ಕಳದ್ವು. ಹರಿ full message ಅಲ್ಲಿ busy ಆಗಿ ಬಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದ. ನಮ್ಮ group ಗೆ ಅವಾಗ ಅವಾಗ ಛಾಯಾ ಬಗ್ಗೆ updates ಕೊಡ್ತಿದ್ದ.

ಇನ್ನೊದು ವಿಷಯ ಅಂದ್ರೆ ಅವಳ number ನ TeaYa [ಚಾ Ya ] ಅಂತಾ save ಮಾಡಿದ್ದ :)

ಅವಳು ಚಿತ್ರದುರ್ಗದವಳು ಅಂತಾ ಒಮ್ಮೆ ಹರಿ ನಮಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದ.

ಅಂತು ಇಂತೂ ನಮ್ಮ third sem ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆ ಮುಗಿತು.ನಾವೆಲ್ಲಾ ರಜೆಗೆ ಅಂತೆ ನಮ್ಮ ನಮ್ಮ ಊರಿಗೆ ಹೋದ್ವಿ.

ಹರಿ ಅವಳ message ಗೆ ಬೆಳಿಗ್ಗೆ ಇಂದ ಕಾಯ್ತಿದ್ದ.

chaya: Just left here.. will reach davangere in another one hour.

hari: Ok now its 10 am .. u ll be here by 11 am. let me once u come rear davangere.

chaya: yeah ... sure.

almost 2 hours ಆಯ್ತು ಆದರು ಅವಳಿಂದ message ಬರಲಿಲ್ಲ. may be road construction ನಡೀತಿದೆ, ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಲೇಟ್ ಆಗಿರಬಹುದು ಬಸ್ ಅಂತಾ ಸಮಾದಾನ ಪಟ್ಟಕೊಂಡ. ಅವಾಗ್ಲೇ 12.30 ಆಗಿ ಹೋಯ್ತು. ಇನ್ನು message ಬರಲಿಲ್ಲ ಅವಳಿಂದ. ಛೇ ಏನಾಯ್ತು ಇವಳಿಗೆ..... ಒಂದ್ message ಮಾಡೋಕೆನು ಇವಳಿಗೆ ಅಂತಾ ಕೂಪ ಮಾಡ್ಕೊಂಡ.

ಇಲ್ಲಿವರೆಗೆ ಹರಿ ಅವಳೊಡನೆ ಮಾತಾಡಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಇವನು ಮಾತಾಡಬೇಕು ಅಂದಾಗೆಲ್ಲ ಏನಾದರು ಹೇಳಿ ತಡಿತಿದ್ಲು. ಒಬ್ಬರನೋಬ್ರು ಬೇಟಿ ಆದಾಗಲೇ ಮಾತಾಡೋಣ, ಈಗ ಬೇಡ ಅಂತ ಹೇಳಿದಳು. ಇವನು ಅವಳಿಗೆ ಒತ್ತಾಯ ಮಾಡಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ.

ಆದರೆ ಈಗ ಏನು ಮಾಡೋದು ?? ಬೇರೆ ವಿಧಿನೇ ಇಲ್ಲ ಅಂತಾ call ಮಾಡೋಕೆ try ಮಾಡಿದ್ರೆ " ನೀವು ಪ್ರಯತ್ನಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವ ಗ್ರಾಹಕರು ಸದ್ಯ ತಮ್ಮ ಮೊಬೈಲ್ ಅನ್ನು switch off ಮಾಡಿದ್ದರೆ" ಅನ್ನೋ message .

ಹಿಂಗೇ ಮೂರು ನಾಲ್ಕು ದಿನ ಕಳಿತು.... ಛಾಯಾಳಿಂದ ಒಂದ್ message ಇಲ್ಲ ಒಂದ್ call ಇಲ್ಲ . ಹರಿ ತುಂಬಾ depress ಆಗಿದ್ದ. ದಾವಣಗೆರೆ ಲೇ ಇರೋ ಪ್ರಕಾಶ ಹತ್ರ ನಡೆದಿದ್ದೆಲ್ಲ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದ.

ಮಾರನೆ ದಿನದಿಂದ ನಮ್ಮ class start ಆಗ್ತಿದ್ವು. ನಾವೆಲ್ಲಾ ಸೋಮಾರಿ ಕಟ್ಟೆ ಮೇಲೆ ಕೂತು ಹರಟತಾ ಇದ್ವಿ.ಹರಿ ವಿಷಯ ಗೊತ್ತಾಯ್ತು .... ನಮಗೂ ತುಂಬಾ ಬೇಜಾರ್ ಆಯ್ತು ..

ಪಾಪ ಹರಿ ಗೆ ಕಾಲೇಜ್ time ಅಲ್ಲಿನೇ love failure ಆಯ್ತಲ್ಲ ಅಂತಾ .....

ಅವಾಗ್ಲೇ ಕುಮಾರ ಹರಿ ಗೆ ಸಮಾದಾನ ಮಾಡ್ತಿದ್ದ......

ಅವಳು message ಮಾಡೋದಾಗಿದ್ರೆ ಅವಾಗ್ಲೇ ಮಾಡಿರೊಳು..ಇನ್ನು ಮಾಡಲ್ಲ ಬಿಡು ಅಂತೆಲ್ಲ ಹೇಳ್ತಿದ್ದ.

ನಾವೆಲ್ಲಾ ಕುಮಾರನಿಗೆ ಬೈದ್ವಿ .. ಲೇ ಮಗನೆ ಪಾಪ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಬೇಜಾರ ಮಾಡ್ಬೇದ್ವೋ...

ಕುಮಾರ ಹೇಳಿದ .. ನಾನ ಹೇಳ್ತಿದೀನಿ ಅವಳು ಮೆಸೇಜ್ ಮಾಡಲ್ಲ ಅಂದ್ರೆ ಮಾಡಲ್ಲ challange !!!!

ಬಿಡಲೇ ಹರಿ ಅವ ಹಂಗೆ ಹೇಳ್ತಾನೆ ಅಂತಾ ನಾವು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಸಾಮದಾನ ಹೇಳಿದ್ವಿ.....

semester ರಜೆ ಮುಗಸಿ ಊರಿಂದ ಬಂದ ಮೇಲೆ ನಮ್ಮಲಿ ಮತ್ತೆ ಕೆಲವೊಬ್ರು ಮೊಬೈಲ್ ತೊಗೊಂದ್ವಿ. ಹರಿ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದ spice plan ನೆ ನಾವು ತೊಗೊಂಡಿದ್ದು.

ಒಂದು ದಿನ ಹರಿ, ಪ್ರಕಾಶ್ ಮನೆಗೆ ಹೋದ. ಈಗೀಗ ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ಛಾಯಾಳ ನೆನಪಿನಿಂದ ಹೊರಗಡೆ ಬರ್ತಿರೋ ಲಕ್ಷಣ ಅವನಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾನ್ತಿದ್ವು. ಪ್ರಕಾಶ್ ಮತ್ತೆ ಕುಮಾರ movie ಗೆ ಹೋಗೋಣ ಅಂತಾ plan ಮಾಡ್ತಿದ್ರು. ಅದರ ಬಗ್ಗೆನೇ ಇಬ್ರು phone ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾತಾಡ್ತಿದ್ರು. ಹರಿ ಬಂದಾ ಕಣೊ ಆಮೇಲೆ phone ಮಾಡ್ತೀನಿ ಅಂತಾ ಪ್ರಕಾಶ ಫೋನ್ ಇಟ್ಟ.

ಒಂದುನಿಮಿಷ ಹರಿ ಮುಖ ತೊಳ್ಕೊಂಡ್ ಬರ್ತೀನಿ ಕೂತಿರು ಅಂತಾ ಹೇಳಿ ತನ್ನ mobile ಅಲ್ಲೇ ಇಟ್ಟುಪ್ರಕಾಶ್ bathroom ಗೆ ಹೋದ...

ಸರಿ last chance ಛಾಯಾ ಗೆ ಒಂದು call ಮಾಡೋಣ ಅಂತಾ ಹರಿ ಗೆ ಅನ್ನಸ್ತು ... ಸರಿ ಅಂತಾ ತನ್ನ ಮೊಬೈಲ್ ಇಂದ call ಮಾಡಿದ. ಛಾಯಾ receive ಮಾಡ್ಲಿಲ್ಲ .... ಸರಿ ಬೇರೆ no ಇಂದ try ಮಾಡೋಣ ಅಂತಾ ಅಲ್ಲೇ ಇದ್ದ ಪ್ರಕಾಶನ ಮೊಬೈಲ್ ಇಂದ ಛಾಯಾ no type ಮಾಡಿ call ಮಾಡಿದ .....

ಹರಿ ಗೆ shock !!!! mobile ಅಲ್ಲಿ calling kumar !!! ಅಂತಾ ತೋರಿಸ್ತು ...

ಹರಿ ವಾಸ್ತವಿಕ ಜಗತ್ತಿಗೆ ಬರೋ ಅಸ್ಟರಲ್ಲೇ ಆಕಡೆ ಇಂದ ಕುಮಾರ, ಲೇ ಪ್ರಕಾಶ jsut ಹರಿ phone ಮಾಡಿದ್ನೋ !!!

Nandi Betta [Hills]

It was a sudden plan to visit the Nandi Betta. Niru called me and asked whether i can join them, and for that, my sudden reply was YES !!!!. He told me that we need to leave by 4am.I told sure, no problem.
We were ready by 4am and left at 4.15

We covered approximately 60 km journey in 50 to 60 mins and reached the first gate of Nandi betta at around 5.30 AM.
There is a check post to enter the Nandi hills and at that day it opened at 6AM. After after waiting for half an hour and registering the vehicle no, wheels were running towards the peak of hill.
The way to the peak of hill is awesome. Road was full of mist and its hardly visible the next 10 mts path. There are around 40+ curves we passed through and reached the top....

We parked bikes and waited for ticket counter to open [we need to take the tickets to enter the Hill]. At 6.30am counter was opened.

We spent almost three hours and left Betta by 9.30am.

MONEY IS YOURS BUT RESOURCES BELONG TO THE SOCIETY.

Germany is a highly industrialized country. It produces top brands like Benz, BMW, Siemens etc. The nuclear reactor pump is made in a small town in this country. In such a country, many will think its people lead a luxurious life. At least that was my impression before my study trip.

When I arrived at Hamburg, my colleagues who work in Hamburg arranged a welcome party for me in a restaurant. As we walked into the restaurant, we noticed that a lot of tables were empty. There was a table where a young couple was having their meal. There were only two dishes and two cans of beer on the table. I wondered if such simple meal could be romantic, and whether the girl will leave this stingy guy.

There were a few old ladies on another table. When a dish is served, the waiter would distribute the food for them, and they would finish every bit of the food on their plates.

We did not pay much attention to them, as we were looking forward to the dishes we ordered. As we were hungry, our local colleague ordered more food for us.

As the restaurant was quiet, the food came quite fast. Since there were other activities arranged for us, we did not spend much time dining. When we left, there was still about one third of unconsumed food on the table.

When we were leaving the restaurant, we heard someone calling us. We noticed the old ladies in the restaurant were talking about us to the restaurant owner. When they spoke to us in English, we understood that they were unhappy about us wasting so much food. We immediately felt that they were really being too busybody.

"We paid for our food, it is none of your business how much food we left behind," my colleague Gui told the old ladies.

The old ladies were furious. One of them immediately took her hand phone out and made a call to someone. After a while, a man in uniform claimed to be an officer from the Social Security organization arrived. Upon knowing what the dispute was, he issued us a 50 Mark fine. We all kept quiet. The local colleague took out a 50 Mark note and repeatedly apologized to the officer.

The officer told us in a stern voice, "ORDER WHAT YOU CAN CONSUME, MONEY IS YOURS BUT RESOURCES BELONG TO THE SOCIETY. THERE ARE MANY OTHERS IN THE WORLD WHO ARE FACING SHORTAGE OF RESOURCES. YOU HAVE NO REASON TO WASTE RESOURCES.´”

Our face turned red. We all agreed with him in our hearts. The mindset of people of this rich country put all of us to shame. WE REALLY NEED TO REFLECT ON THIS. We are from country which is not very rich in resources. To save face, we order large quantity and also waste food when we give others a treat. THIS LESSON TAUGHT US A LESSON TO THINK SERIOUSLY ABOUT CHANGING OUR BAD HABITS.

My colleague Photostatted the fine ticket and gave a copy to each of us as a souvenir. All of us kept it and pasted on our wall to remind us that we shall never be wasteful.

Fill the form using your form-16.

Evaluate the form and click “Generate” button in form to generate the .xml file.

Evaluate xml file.

Go to Submit return and select the assessment year.

You can sign your form digitally.

Click next.

Select the generated xml file and click Upload.

You will get the return form to your e-mail.

Take hard copy, sign it and post it to the following address within 30 Days

         ನಮ್ಮ ಶಾಲೆಲಿ ಆಟದ ಅವಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಮ್ಮ ಸರ್ ಏನಾದ್ರು ಇದ್ರೆ ಮಾತ್ರ ನಾವು ಅವರು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದ ಆಟ ಆಡ್ತಾ ಇದ್ವಿ. ಒಂದು ವೇಳೆ ಸರ್ "ನಿಮಗೇನು ಬೇಕು ಆಡಕೊಳ್ರಿ" ಅಂದ್ರೆ ನಮಗೆ ಗೊತ್ತಿರೋದು ಒಂದೇ ಆಟ ಏನೋ ಅನ್ನೋ ಹಾಗೆ ನಮ್ಮ default choice ಕ್ರಿಕೆಟ್ ಆಗಿರುತಿತ್ತು.ನಮ್ಮ ಹತ್ರ ಸರಿಯಾದ bat ಇಲ್ಲದಿದ್ರು ಅಲ್ಲೇ ಸಿಗೋ ಒಂದು ಕಟ್ಟಿಗೆನೇ ನಮ್ಮ bat !!! ಇನ್ನೂ ಕೆಲವೊಮ್ಮೆ ಯಾವುದೋ ಕಾರಣಕ್ಕೆ ಶಾಲೆಗೆ ಅರ್ಧ ರಜಾ ಸಿಕ್ರಂತೂ ಮುಗಿತು ನಾವು ಮಾತ್ರ ಇನ್ನರ್ಧ ದಿನ ಕ್ರಿಕೆಟ್ ಆಡಿನೇ ಮನೆಗೆ ಹೋಗ್ತಿದ್ವಿ..

       ನನಗೆ ನೆನಪಿರುವ ಮೊದಲ ಕ್ರಿಕೆಟ್ ವರ್ಲ್ಡ್ ಕಪ್ ಅಂದ್ರೆ ೧೯೯೬ರದು. ಭಾರತ,ಪಾಕಿಸ್ತಾನ ಮತ್ತು ಶ್ರೀಲಂಕ ಜಂಟಿ ಆಗಿ ಆಯೋಜಿಸಿದ ಪಂದ್ಯಾವಳಿ. ಭಾರತ ಸೆಮಿ ಫೈನಲ್ ನಲ್ಲಿ ಶ್ರಿಲಂಕ ವಿರುಧ್ದ ಆಡಿತ್ತು. ಮನೇಲಿ ಆಗ ಬರೀ ನ್ಯಾಷನಲ್ ಚಾನೆಲ್ ಒಂದೇ ಬರ್ತಿತ್ತು. ಆ ಪಂದ್ಯ Day and night ಆಗಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ನೇರ ಪ್ರಸಾರದ ವೇಳೆ ನ್ಯಾಷನಲ್ ಚಾನೆಲ್ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಸಾರ ಆಗುವ ವಾರ್ತೆ, ಎಲ್ಲರನ್ನು ಅರ್ಧಗಂಟೆ ತುಂಬಾ ಉತ್ಸುಕರನ್ನಾಗಿಸಿತ್ತು. ವಾರ್ತೆ ಮುಗಿದು ಪಂದ್ಯದ ನೇರ ಪ್ರಸಾರ ಆರಂಭವಾದಾಗ, ಭಾರತ ಸೋಲಿನ ದಾರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ತಿರುಗಿ ಬಾರದಷ್ಟು ದೂರ ಹೋಗಿತ್ತು. ತುಂಬಾ ಬೇಜಾರಯ್ತು ಆ ದಿನ.
        ಅದಾದ ಮೇಲೆ ಬಂದದ್ದು ೧೯೯೯ ವರ್ಲ್ಡ್ ಕಪ್. ಭಾರತದ ಪಾಲಿಗೆ ಅತಿ ಕೆಟ್ಟ ವರ್ಲ್ಡ್ ಕಪ್ ಅಂತಾ ಅನ್ನಬಹುದು.೨೦೦೩ರ ಪಂದ್ಯಾವಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಫೈನಲ್ ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸಿದರು ಕಪ್ ಗೆಲ್ಲುವಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಫಲವಾಯಿತು . ೨೦೦೭ರ ಸ್ಥಿತಿ ಸಹ ೧೯೯೯ರ ಹಾಗೆನೇ, nock out round ಗೂ ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸಲಿಲ್ಲ.ಆದರೆ ಅದೇ ವರ್ಷ [೨೦೦೭] ನಡೆದ ಪ್ರಥಮ T20 ವರ್ಲ್ಡ್ ಕಪ್ ಅನ್ನು ಗೆದ್ದ ಸಾಧನೆ ಮಾಡಿತು.

Valley Of Flowers Trip - Pre Planning.

We the group of 5-6 people are planing to visit valley of flower in August 2011. We have a rough outline of trip. Just we have travel plan of now. Not yet planned about the lodging and guide.
If anybody had been to Valley of flowers please guide us.
And is it good to go through any trip organizer ?

Rough plan of the trip is as follows -
Day 1:
Leave to Delhi from Bangalore on 13th August by morning flight
Visit some places in Delhi
Leave to Haridwar by night train.
Day 2:
Visit Haridwar and leave to Rishikesh by bus.
Halt at rishikesh.
Day 3
Leave to Joshimath by bus
Halt at Joshimath .
Day 4
Joshimath to Govind ghat , then trek to Gangria
Halt at Gangria
Day 5
Gangria to Valley of Flowers trek
Back to Gangria and halt
Day 6
Gangria to Hemkund and back to Gangria
halt at Gangria
Day7
Gangria to Govind ghat then to Joshimath
halt at Joshimath
Day 8
Joshimath to Rishikesh
halt at Rishikesh
Day 9
Rishikesh to Delhi

Please suggest if any other places we can cover.
Your suggestions will help us to plan and execute the trip smoothly.

          2008 ಸೆಪ್ಟೆಂಬರ್, ನಾನು ಕೆಲ್ಸಕ್ಕೆ ಸೇರಿ ಒಂದು ವರ್ಷ ಆಗಿತ್ತು . ನಾನು ಅವಳನ್ನ ಮೊದಲಸಲ ನೋಡಿದ್ದು internet ನಲ್ಲಿ ... ನನಗೆ ಯಾಕೋ ಏನೋ ತುಂಬಾ ಹಿಡ್ಸಿದ್ಲು. ಅವಳ ಆ ಮುದ್ದು ಮುಖ, ತಿಕ್ಷ್ಣ ಕಣ್ಣು, ಆ ನಾಜುಕತೆ ಹೀಗೆ ಏನೇನೊ...ಆಮೇಲೆ ಸುಮಾರು ಒಂದು ತಿಂಗಳವರೆಗೆ ಯೋಚಿಸಿದೆ . ಇದೆಲ್ಲ ಈಗ ಬೇಕಾ? ಇನ್ನೂ ಈಗ ಒಂದು ವರ್ಷ ಆಯ್ತು ಕೆಲ್ಸಕ್ಕೆ ಸೇರಿ. ಒಂದು ಸರಿಯಾಗಿ ನೆಲೇನು ಕಂಡಕೊಂಡಿಲ್ಲಾ, ಒಂದು ವರ್ಷದಲ್ಲಿ ಗಳಸಿದ್ದಾದ್ರು ಎಷ್ಟು ?.
        ನನ್ನ ಫ್ರೆಂಡ್ಸ್ ಮತ್ತು ರೂಂ ಮೇಟ್ಸ್ ಗಳಿಗೆ ವಿಷಯ ಹೇಳಿದಾಗ ಅವರು ಸಹಜವಾಗಿಯೇ ಖುಷಿ ಪಟ್ಟಿದ್ರು 'You carry on buddy' ಅಂತಾ ಪ್ರೋತ್ಸಾಹ ಬೇರೆ ಸಿಕ್ತು. ಏನೋ ಮಾಡಿ ಅವಳನ್ನ ಪಡದದ್ದು ಆಯ್ತು...
        ದೀಪಾವಳಿಗೆ ಅವಳನ್ನ ಮನೆಗೆ ಕರೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋದೆ. ಅನ್ನುಕೊಂಡಹಾಗೆ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅಮ್ಮ ಬೇಜಾರದ್ರೆ, ಅಪ್ಪ, ಈಗ ಇದೆಲ್ಲ ಬೇಕಿತ್ತಾ ನಿನಗೆ ಅಂತಾ ಬೈದ್ರು?? .. ಆದ್ರೆ ನನ್ನ ತಂಗಿ ಮತ್ತು ತಮ್ಮ ಮಾತ್ರ ಫುಲ್ ಖುಶ್...!!!!. ಅದು ಇದು ಅಂತಾ ಏನೇನೊ ಹೇಳಿ ಅಪ್ಪ ಅಮ್ಮನ್ನ ಸಮಾಧಾನ ಪಡಿಸಿದೆ. ಆಮೇಲೆ ಎಲ್ಲಾ normal ..
        ನಾನು ಯಾವದೇ ಟ್ರಿಪ್ ಗೆ ಹೋಗಲಿ ಅಥವಾ ಯಾವುದೇ ಊರಿಗೆ ಹೋದರು ನನ್ನ ಜೊತೆಗಾತಿ ಆದಳು ಅವಳು.
ನಾವು ಮೊದಲ ಟ್ರಿಪ್ ಅಂತಾ ಹೋಗಿದ್ದು ಮಡಿಕೇರಿಗೆ.ಆ ಆಹ್ಲಾದಕರ ವಾತಾವರಣ, ಪ್ರಕೃತಿಯ ಆ ಸೌಂದರ್ಯ,ಎಲ್ಲವನ್ನು ನಾನು ಅವಳ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳಿಂದನೇ ನೋಡೋಕೆ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನಿಸಿದೆ.ಅವಳ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳು ಎಷ್ಟು ತೀಕ್ಷ್ಣ ಅಂದ್ರೆ ನನಗೆ ಕಾಣದ ಅತಿ ಸಣ್ಣ ವಸ್ತುಗಳನ್ನೂ ಅವಳ ನೋಡಬಲ್ಲಳು.
        ಅದು ಯಾರ ಕಣ್ಣು ಬಿತ್ತೋ ಏನೋ, ಅವತ್ತು ತಲಕಾವೇರಿಯ ಬೆಟ್ಟದಿಂದ ಇಳಿತಿರಬೇಕಾದ್ರೆ ಅವಳು ಜಾರಿ ಬಿದ್ದು ಬಿಟ್ಟಳು ..
ಬೆಂಗಳೊರಿಗೆ ಬಂದ ಮೇಲೆ ಅವಳನ್ನ ಒಂದು ವಾರ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಗೆ ಸೇರಿಸಿದ್ದು ಆಯ್ತು :(
       ಅದಾದಮೇಲೆ ಸುಮಾರು ಊರುಗಳನ್ನ ಅವಳೊಟ್ಟಿಗೆ ಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದು ಆಯ್ತು. Cricket match, office functions , ಏರ್ ಪೋರ್ಟ್, ಅಂತಾ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರನ್ನು ಸುತ್ತಿದ್ವಿ ....!!!
       ಈಗ ಅಮ್ಮನು ಬೇಜಾರಾಗಿಲ್ಲ .. ನಾನು ಊರಿಗೆ ಬರ್ತಿದೀನಿ ಅಂದ್ರೆ, ಅವಳನ್ನು ಕರ್ಕೊಂಡು ಬಾ ಮರಿಬೇಡ ಅಂತಾರೆ .. :). ಯಾವುದೇ ಹಬ್ಬಕ್ಕೆ/ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಗಳಿಗೆ ಅಂತಾ ಊರಿಗೆ ಹೋದರು ಅವಳು ನನ್ನ ಜೊತೆ ಹಾಜರ್!!!. ಅವಳನ್ನ ಕಂಡ್ರೆ ಈಗ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಎಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ಇಷ್ಟ.
ಅಯ್ಯೋ, ಇವನು ಯಾರ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಹೇಳ್ತಿದಾನೆ ಅಂತಾ ತಲೆ ಕೇಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಡಿ. ನಾನು ಇಷ್ಟೊತ್ತು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದು ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರೀತಿಯ ಕ್ಯಾಮೆರಾ ಬಗ್ಗೆ.

       ಶಂಕರನಾಗ ಕನ್ನಡನಾಡು ಕಂಡ ಒಬ್ಬ ಅಪ್ರತೀಮ ಪ್ರತೀಭೆ.
       ಶಂಕರನಾಗ್ ಎಂದಾಗ ತಟ್ಟ ಅಂತಾ ನೆನಪಾಗೋದು 'ಮಾಲ್ಗುಡಿ ಡೇಸ್'.ಕನ್ನಡದ ಅನೇಕ ಕಲಾವಿದರನ್ನು ಚಿಕ್ಕ ಪರದೆಯಮೇಲೆ ತಂದ ಖ್ಯಾತಿ ಶಂಕರನಾಗ್ ಅವರದು. ಬರೀ ಚಿತ್ರರಂಗಕ್ಕಷ್ಟೇ ಸೀಮಿತವಾಗಿರದೆ, ಸಮಾಜಕ್ಕೆ ಉಪಯೋಗವಾಗುಹಂತಹ ಅನೇಕ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ.ತಮ್ಮನ್ನು ತಾವು ತೊಡಗಿಸಿಕೊಂಡ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿ. ನಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಎಷ್ಟೋ ಜನಕ್ಕೆ ಇದರಬಗ್ಗೆ ಗೊತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ . ನನಗೂ ಇ ಪುಸ್ತಕ ಓದುವವರೆಗೆ ಗೊತ್ತಿದ್ದಿಲ್ಲ.
           ೧೯೮೦ರ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲೇನೆ metro ರೈಲಿನ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಅವರ ಕನಸು, ಕಡಿಮೆ ಖರ್ಚಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಮನೆಗಳ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣ .. ಹೀಗೆ ಹತ್ತು ಹಲವು ಯೋಜನೆಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಆಸಕ್ತಿ ಹೊಂದಿದ್ದ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿ. ಈಗ ಅವರು ಇದ್ದಿದ್ರೆ ನಮ್ಮ ಚಿತ್ರರಂಗದ ಪರಿಸ್ಥಿತಿಯೇ ಬೇರೆಯಾಗಿರುತ್ತಿತ್ತು ...!!!!
          ಶಂಕರನಾಗ ಬದುಕಿದ್ದು ಅಲ್ಪಾವದಿಗೆ ಆಗಿದ್ದರು ಅವರ ಸಾಧನೆ, ಅವರ ಹೆಸರು ಅಜರಾಮರ. ಇಷ್ಟು ಸಾಧನೆ ಮಾಡಲು ಅವರು ಪಟ್ಟ ಪರಿಶ್ರಮ ಅಷ್ಟಿಷ್ಟಲ್ಲ. ಇಗಲೂ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಲಕ್ಷಾಂತರ ಅಭಿಮಾನಿಗಳಿದ್ದಾರೆ .
         ಅವರ ಜೀವನ ಶೈಲಿ, ಅವರು ಬದುಕಿದ ರೀತಿ, ಅವರ ಯೋಚನಾಶಕ್ತಿಯ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಪುಸ್ತಕದ ರೂಪದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೇಳಿರುವ ಅನಂತನಾಗ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಧನ್ಯವಾದಗಳು ..
ಶಂಕರನಾಗ ಅವರ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಹೇಚ್ಚು ತಿಳಿಯಲು ಇ ಪುಸ್ತಕ ಓದಿ .

        ಹುಟ್ಟು ಸಾವು ಒಂದೇ ನಾಣ್ಯದ ಎರಡು ಮುಖಗಳ ಹಾಗೆ . ಹುಟ್ಟಿದ ಪ್ರತೀ ಜೀವಿಯೂ ಸಾಯಲೇಬೇಕು. ಅದು ಪಕೃತಿ ನಿಯಮ.
ಒಂದು ಹುಟ್ಟು ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಭ್ರಮ, ಸಂತೋಷ , ಒಂದು ಹೊಸ ಬದುಕಿನ ಆಸೆ ಮೂಡಿಸಿರುತ್ತದೆ. ಇದರ ತದ್ವೀರುದ್ದದ ಅಥವಾ ಇದಕ್ಕಿಂತ ತುಸು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನದೇ ಆದ ಒಂದು ಶೋಕ,ದುಖ: ಒಂದು ಜೀವ ತೀರಿದಾಗ!!!
            ಒಬ್ಬ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿ ಎಷ್ಟೇ ಸಿರಿವಂತನಾದರು ಕಡೆಗೆ ಸೇರುವದು ಮಣ್ಣನ್ನೇ ಅನ್ನೋ ನುಡಿಯನ್ನು ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ಕೇಳಿರುತ್ತಿವಿ.ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಂದು ಧರ್ಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಅದರೆದೇ ಆದ ಕೆಲವು ನಿಯಮಗಳು ಅಂತ್ಯಕ್ರೀಯಗೆ ಇದ್ದೆ ಇರುತ್ತವೆ. ಕೆಲವೊಂದನ್ನು ನಮ್ಮ ಹಿರಿಯರು ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡು ಬಂದರೆಂದು ಅನುಸರಿಸಿದರೆ, ಇನ್ನೂ ಕೆಲವೊಂದು ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತ ಸಮಾಜಕ್ಕೆ ವೈಜ್ಞಾನಿಕವಾಗಿ ಅವಶ್ಯಕವಾಗಿರುವಂತಹವು.
          ನಮ್ಮ ಹಿಂದೂ ಧರ್ಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಎರಡು ವಿಧದ ಅಂತ್ಯಸಂಸ್ಕಾರಗಳು ರೂಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿವೆ. ಒಂದು "ಅಗ್ನಿ ಸ್ಪರ್ಶ" ಇನ್ನೊಂದು "ಮಣ್ಣು ಮಾಡುವದು". ಅಂತ್ಯಕ್ರಿಯೆಯ ನಂತರ ಸ್ನಾನ,ವಿವಿಧ ಪೂಜೆಗಳು, ಹೀಗೆ ನಾನಾ ತರಹದ ಆಚರಣೆಗಳು ಇರುತ್ತವೆ.
         ಇ ಮೇಲಿನ ಆಚರಣೆಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ನನಗನಸಿದ ಕೆಲವು ಸಂಗತಿಗಳನ್ನು ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಹೇಳಲು ಇಷ್ಟಪಡುತ್ತೇನೆ -
         ಸ್ನಾನ: ಸ್ಮಶಾನದಿಂದ ಬಂದ ಜನ ಸ್ನಾನ ಮಾಡದೆ ಮನೆಯೊಳಗೆ ಹೋಗಲ್ಲ.ಸ್ಮಶಾನದ ಪರಿಸರದಲ್ಲಿ ಇದ್ದಿರಬಹುದಾದ ಕ್ರಿಮೀ ಕೀಟಗಳು, ಸ್ಮೊಕ್ಷ್ಮಾನು ಜಂತುಗಳು ಮನೆಯೊಳಗೆ ಸೇರಬಹುದೆಂದು ಸ್ನಾನ ಮಾಡಿಯೇ ಮನೆಗೆ ಪ್ರವೇಶ. ಇನ್ನೂ ಒಂದು ಸಂಗತಿ ಎಂದರೆ ಹತ್ತಿರದ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಕರಿಗೆ,ಒಂದು ಬಿಂದಿಗೆ ಬಿಸಿ ನೀರು ಮತ್ತೊಂದು ಬಿಂದಿಗೆ ತಣ್ಣೀರು ಸುರಿಯುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಅತ್ತು ಅತ್ತು ದೇಹದಲ್ಲಿ ರಕ್ತದೊತ್ತಡ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಕಮ್ಮಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ, ಇ ರೀತಿ ಬಿಸಿ ನೀರು ಮತ್ತು ತಣ್ಣೀರನ್ನು ಹಾಕುವದರಿಂದ ಸಮತೋಲನಕ್ಕೆ ಬರುತ್ತದೆ.
        ಇನ್ನೂ ಸಂಸ್ಕಾರದ ಮಾರನೆಯದಿನ ಮನೆಯ ಕೆಲವು ಜನ ಬೆಳಿಗ್ಗೆ ಸ್ಮಶಾನಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಪೂಜೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಸಂಸ್ಕಾರ ಮಾಡಿದ ಸ್ಥಳ ಸರಿಯಾಗಿದೇನೂ ಇಲ್ಲವೋ ಅಂತಾ ಪರಿಕ್ಷೀಸುವದ್ದಕ್ಕೊಸ್ಕರ ಇ ರೀತಿ ಮಾಡಿರಬಹುದು.
       ಹೆಣ್ಣುಮಗಳ ಗಂಡನೆನಾದ್ರು ತೀರಿ ಹೋಗಿದ್ರೆ, ಆಕೆಯ ತವರು ಮನೆಯವರು ಸ್ವಲ್ಪದಿನಕ್ಕೆ ಅಂತ ಅವಳನ್ನು ತವರು ಮನೆಗೆ ಕರೆದೊಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಇನ್ನೂ ತನಗೆ ಯಾರು ಇಲ್ಲ ಅನ್ನುವ ಒಂದು ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಭಾವನೆ ಬರಬಾರದು ಅಂತಾನೇ ಅನ್ನಿಸುತ್ತೇ ಇ ರೀತಿ ಮಾಡೋದಕ್ಕೆ.
      ಇ ತರಹದ ಇನ್ನೂ ಎಷ್ಟೂ ಅಂಶಗಳು, ಆಚರಣೆಗಳು ಇವೆ. ಆದರೆ ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಬರಿಯೋದಕ್ಕೆ ಆಗ್ತಿಲ್ಲ....

The author describes a mythological event in very different way .
The book is about how a common man Shiva become the legend, the god 'Mahadeva'. How he destroyed the evils,Civilization of Indus, Importance of river Saraswati, The war between Suryavamshi and Chandravamshi .
It has characters like Sati,Nandi,Bhadra,Brahspati
The novel has lots of suspense, mixed with war and love.
The things evil and god are depends upon, how a person thinks. The book explains this concept nicely.
Author ends the book in suspense making readers to wait for next volume of book ..
When i finished reading this book, i cursed him for making me to wait for next release [The secrets of the Nagas]

Do read the book when you get time. I bet you will find it hard to stop in between once you start reading.

ಮೊನ್ನೆ ಶನಿವಾರ ಸಂಜೆ ನನ್ನ ಒಬ್ಬ ಗೆಳೆಯ, ಲೇ ಸೂಜಿ ತೊಗೋಬೇಕು ಬಾ ಅಂಗಡಿಗೆ ಹೋಗೋಣ ಅಂದಾ . ನನ್ನ ಜೋತೆ ಇದ್ದ ಇನ್ನೊಬ್ಬ ಲೋ ಸಂಜೆ ಹೊತ್ತು ಸೂಜೆ ಮಾರಲ್ಲ ಅಂದ .ಲೇ ನೋಡೋಣ ನಡಿಲೆ ಅಂತಾ ಒತ್ತಾಯ ಮಾಡಿ ಅವನನ್ನ ಕರ್ಕೊಂಡು ಹೋದಾ. ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ಹೊತ್ತಿನ ನಂತರ ಇಬ್ಬರು market ಇಂದ ತರಕಾರಿ, ಅದರಲ್ಲೂ ಒಳ್ಳೆ ಗಜ್ಜರಿ ಏನೂ ತೊಗೊಂಡು ಬಂದಿದ್ದರು, ಆದ್ರೆ ಸೂಜಿ ಮಾತ್ರ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ, ಅಲ್ಲ ಅಂಗಡಿಯವನು ಇವರಿಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ .

ಇದು ನಾನು ಹೇಳ್ತಿರೋದು hi-tech city ನಮ್ಮ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಲ್ಲಿ . ನನಗೆ ನಂಬೋಕೆ ಆಗ್ಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಇಗಲು ಇದನ್ನ ಪಾಲಿಸ್ತಾರ? ಅದರಲ್ಲೂ ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಲ್ಲಿ ..??

ನಾವು ಎಷ್ಟೇ ಮುಂದುವರೆದರು ಕೆಲವೊಂದು ಸಂಸ್ಕಾರಗಳನ್ನ ಇನ್ನು ಮುಂದುವರೆಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಬಂದಿದಿವಿ ...ಒಂದು ರೀತಿಲಿ ಇದು ಒಳ್ಳೇದು...

ಚಿಕ್ಕವನಿದ್ದಾಗ ಅಮ್ಮನು ಅಂತಿದ್ಲು ಸಂಜೆ ಹೊತ್ತು ಸೂಜೆ, ಉಪ್ಪು ಎಣ್ಣೆ ಎನನ್ನು ಮನೆ ಇಂದ ಹೊರಗೆ ತೊಗೊಂಡು ಹೋಗಬಾರದು ಅಂತಾ .

ನಮ್ಮ ಊರಿನ ಕಡೆ, ತುರ್ತಾಗಿ ಬೇಕಿರುವ ವಸ್ತುಗಳು ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇರದಿದ್ರೆ ಪಕ್ಕದಮನೆಯವರ ಹತ್ರ ಎರವಲು [ನಾವು ಕಡ ಅಂತಾ ಅಂತಿವಿ ] ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವದು ರೂಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿದೆ. ಕೆಲವೊಮ್ಮೆ ಪಕ್ಕದಮನೆಯವರು ಯಾರಾದ್ರೂ ಸಂಜೆ ಸೂಜಿ ಬೇಕು ಅಂತಾ ಬಂದಾಗ ಅಮ್ಮ, ನಾವು ಸಂಜೆ ಹೊತ್ತು ಸೂಜಿ ಕೊಡಲ್ಲ .. ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ಮುಂಚೆನೇ ಬರೋದಲ್ವ ಅಂತಾ ಅಂದ್ದಿದ್ದು ನನಗೆ ಇನ್ನೂನೆನಪಿದೆ .. ಯಾಕಮ್ಮ ಸಂಜೆ ಕೊಡಬಾರದು

ಅಂತಾ ಕೇಳಿದ್ರೆ, ಅದು ಮುಂಚೆ ಇಂದ ಇರೋ ಪದ್ಧತಿ ಅನ್ನೋ ಉತ್ತರಾ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿತ್ತು. ನನ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಆ ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆ ಹಾಗೆ ಉಳಿತು...

ಆಮೇಲೆ ಆಮೇಲೆ ಅನಸಿದ್ದು ಏನಂದ್ರೆ , ಸೂಜಿ ತುಂಬಾ ಚಿಕ್ಕ ವಸ್ತು... ಎಲ್ಲಾದರು ಬಿದ್ದೋದ್ರೆ ಹಗಲಲ್ಲೇ ಸಿಗೋದು ಕಷ್ಟ ಇನ್ನು ಸಂಜೆ ಹೊತ್ತು ಅಂತು ಅದನ್ನ ಹೊಡುಕೊದು ವ್ಯರ್ತ . ಯಾರದಾದರು ಕಾಲಿಗೆ ಚುಚ್ಚಿ ಬಿಟ್ರೆ ??? ನೀವು ಅನ್ನಬಹುದು ನಾವು ಚಪ್ಪಲಿ ಹೊಕೊಂದಿರ್ತಿವಿ ಬಿಡು ಅಂತಾ . ಆದ್ರೆ ಹಿಂದಿನ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಬರಿಗಾಲಲ್ಲೆ ಓಡಾಡ್ತಾ ಇದ್ರೂ ಜನ .ಇದರಿಂದನೇ ಏನೂ ಸಂಜೆ ಹೊತ್ತು ಸೂಜಿ ಹೊರಗಡೆ ತೊಗೊಂಡು ಹೋಗೋದಕ್ಕೆ ಬಿಡಲ್ಲ ...

ಇನ್ನು ಎಣ್ಣೆ ವಿಷಯಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದ್ರೆ [ನಾನಿಲ್ಲಿ ಹೇಳ್ತಿರೋದು edible oil ಬಗ್ಗೆ], ಸಂಜೆ ಹೊತ್ತು ಎಲ್ಲಾದರು ಯಾರಾದ್ರೂ ಚೆಲ್ಲಿಕೊಂಡು ಹೋದ್ರೆ, ಬೇರೆಯವರು ಅದನ್ನ ನೋಡ್ದೆ ಕಾಲಿಟ್ಟು ಜಾರಿ ಬೀಳಬಹುದು ಅಂತಾ ..ಆದ್ರೆ ಇದನ್ನ ಜನ ಅಷ್ಟೊಂದು ಪಾಲಿಸಲ್ಲ . ಬೇರೆ ಎಣ್ಣೆ [ off-course ಅದು ಕೂಡ edible ಆಯಿಲ್] ಸಂಜೆ ಹೊತ್ತೇ ಜಾಸ್ತಿ ಮಾರಾಟ ಆಗತ್ತೆ ಅಲ್ವ , ಬಹುಶ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಎಣ್ಣೆ ಒಂದೇ ಅನ್ನೋ ಭಾವನೆ ಇರಬಹುದು,ಅದು ಬೇರೆ ಮಾತು ..

ಆದ್ರೆ ಉಪ್ಪನ್ನ ಯಾಕೆ ಸಂಜೆ ಕೊಡಬಾರದು ಅನ್ನೋ ವಿಷಯ ನನಗೂ ಇನ್ನು ಗೊತ್ತಾಗಿಲ್ಲ .. ಯಾರಿಗಾದರು ಗೊತ್ತಿದ್ರೆ ತಿಳಿಸಿ.

ಇನ್ನು ಒಂದು ನಾನು ಗಮನಿಸಿದ್ದು ಅಂದರೆ ಸಂಜೆ ಹೊತ್ತು ಗಿಡದ ಎಲೆಗಳನ್ನ, ಹೂವುಗಳನ್ನ ಕಿಳ್ಬಾರ್ದು ಅಂತಾರೆ . ಬಹುಶ, ಸಂಜೆ ಕತ್ತಲಲ್ಲಿ ಕೀಟಗಳು ಅಥವಾ ಪಕ್ಷಿಗಳು ಗಿಡದಲ್ಲಿ ಇರುತ್ತವೆ ಅವುಗಳಿಗೆ ತೊಂದರೆ ಆಗಬಾರದು ಅಂತಾ, ಮತ್ತು ಕೆಲ ವಿಷ ಜಂತುಗಳು ಗಿಡದಲ್ಲಿ ಇರೋದು ಕತ್ತಲಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾಣೋದೆ ಇಲ್ಲ. ಇದರಿಂದ ನಮಗೂ ತೊಂದರೆ ಆಗಬಹುದು. ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಸಂಜೆ ಹೊತ್ತು ಎಲೆಗಳನ್ನ, ಹೂವುಗಳನ್ನ ಕಿಳಬೇಡಿ ಅಂತಾ ಹೇಳಿರಬಹುದು.

ಇಷ್ಟೆಲ್ಲಾ ಮುಂದಾಲೋಚನೆ ಮಾಡಿ ಅಥವಾ ಆಗಿರೋ ಅನಾಹುತದಿಂದ ಪಾಠ ಕಲಿತು ಇಂತಹ ಎಷ್ಟೋ ಆಚರಣೆಗಳು ನಮ್ಮ ಸಮಾಜದಲ್ಲಿ ರೂಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿವೆ. ಇವುಗಳ್ಳನ್ನು ಇಂತಹ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿನೇ ಆಚರಣೆಗೆ ತಂದರು ಅನ್ನೋ ಯಾವುದೇ ದಾಖಲೆಗಳು ಇಲ್ಲ.. ಯಾರೇ ಮಾಡಿರಲಿ ಇವುಗಳಿಂದ ನಮಗೆ ಒಳ್ಳೆಯದೇ ಆಗ್ತಿದೆ ..

           ನಮ್ಮ ಸಂಪ್ರದಾಯ ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಹಾಳಾಗಿಹೊಯ್ತು ... ಈಗಿನ ಹುಡುಗರಿಗೆ / ಹುಡುಗಿರಿಗೆ ಒಂಚೂರು ನಮ್ಮ ಆಚರಣೆ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಆಸಕ್ತಿನೇ ಇಲ್ಲ ಅಂತ ಹಿರಿಯರು ಬೈಯೋದನ್ನಾ ಇ ಕಿವಿ ಇಂದ ಕೇಳಿ ಆ ಕಿವಿ ಇಂದ ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಬಿಟ್ಟಿರ್ತಿವಿ.
        ಆದರೆ ನಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಎಷ್ಟೋ ಜನಕ್ಕೆ ಇ ಆಚರಣೆಗಳ ವಿಶಿಷ್ಟತೆ, ಮಹತ್ವ ಗೊತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ. ಕೆಲವೊಂದು ಆಚರಣೆಗಳಿಗೆ ವೈಜ್ಞಾನಿಕ ಮಹತ್ವನೂ ಇದೆ .
          ಇಂತಹ ಸಂಪ್ರದಾಯಗಳನ್ನ ಕೇವಲ ಆಚರಣೆಗಳಂತೆ ನೋಡದೆ, ವೈಜ್ಞಾನಿಕವಾಗಿ ನೋಡಿದರೆ ಅವುಗಳ ಮಹತ್ವ ಇನ್ನು ಹೆಚ್ಚುತ್ತದೆ

         ಇ ಹಬ್ಬ ಚಳಿಗಾಲದ ಕೂನೆ ಭಾಗ ಮತ್ತು ಬೇಸಿಗೆಯ ಆರಂಭವನ್ನ ಸೂಚಿಸುತ್ತದೆ. ಸೂರ್ಯ ತನ್ನ ಪತವನ್ನ ಮಕರ ರಾಶಿಗೆ ಬದಲಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆ.
         ಸಂಕ್ರಾಂತಿಯಂದು ಜನ ಪರಸ್ಪರ ಎಳ್ಳುಬೆಲ್ಲ, ಕಬ್ಬು ಹಂಚಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಇ ಎಳ್ಳು ಬೆಲ್ಲ, ಕಬ್ಬು ತಿನ್ನುವದರಿಂದ ನಮ್ಮ ದೇಹದಲ್ಲಿ ತೇವಾಂಶ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಕೊರೆಯುವ ಚಳಿ ಇಂದ ಕಳೆದು ಹೊದ ತೇವಾಂಶವನ್ನುಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸಲಿಕ್ಕೆ ಅಂತಾನೇ ನಮ್ಮ ಹಿರಿಯರು ಇ ಸಂಪ್ರದಾಯವನ್ನ ಆರಂಬಿಸಿದ್ದು ಅಂತಾ ಅನ್ನಸತ್ತೆ.

ಇನ್ನು ರೈತರಿಗೆ ಇದು ಸುಗ್ಗಿಯ ಕಾಲ. ಬೆಳೆದ ಬೆಳೆಯನ್ನ ರಾಶಿಮಾಡುವ ಮುಂಚೆ ಪೂಜೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾರೆ.ಎತ್ತುಗಳಿಗೆ ಸಿಂಗಾರ ಮಾಡಿ ವಿವಿಧ ಆಟಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಬಾಗವಹಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ.ಕುಟುಂಬ ಸಮೇತ ಹೂಲಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಅಲ್ಲೇ ಊಟ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಇಷ್ಟು ದಿನ ಹೊಲ/ಗದ್ದೆ ಕೆಲಸದಲ್ಲಿ ಶ್ರಮಪಟ್ಟ ಜನ ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ಮನರಂಜನೆ,ಆಟ ಅಂತಾ ಕಾಲ ಕಳೆಯುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಇದೆ ಸಂದರ್ಬದಲ್ಲಿ ಎತ್ತುಗಳ ಓಟ, ಎತ್ತುಗಳಿಂದ ಬೆಂಕಿಯನ್ನ ಹಾರಿಸುವ ಸಂಪ್ರದಾಯನು ಇದೆ.

ಪುರಾಣಗಳ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ವಿಷ್ಣು ಅಸುರರನ್ನು ನಾಶಮಾಡಿದ ದಿನ. ಇದರಿಂದ ಸಂಕ್ರಾಂತಿಯನ್ನ ಒಳ್ಳೆ ದಿನಗಳ ಆರಂಭ ಅಂತ ನಂಬಿಕೆ ಇದೆ. ಎಷ್ಟೇ ವೈರಿಗಳಾಗಿದ್ದವರು ಸಹ ಅವತ್ತಿನ ದಿನ ಪರಸ್ಪರ ಎಳ್ಳು ಬೆಲ್ಲ ಹಂಚಿ ವೈಷಮ್ಯ ಮರೆಯುತ್ತಾರೆ.

ಬೆಳಿಗ್ಗೆ ಶಾಲೆಲಿ ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ತಮ್ಮ card ಅನ್ನ ತೋರ್ಸಿ ಲೇ ನೋಡು ನಾನು ಎಷ್ಟು ಚೆನ್ನಾಗಿ ಬರದಿದಿನಿ ಅಂತಾ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೆ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದು.
ಒಬ್ಬರೆ ಹೋಗಿ sir ಗೆ card ಕೊಟ್ಟು ಶುಭಾಶಯ ಹೇಳಿದ್ವಿ. ಸರ್ ಗೆ ಕುಷಿ ಆಯ್ತು ತುಂಬಾ ಚೆನ್ನಾಗಿ ಬರದಿದಿರಿ ಅಂತಾ ಅಂದ್ರು ನಮಗೂ ಕುಷಿ ಆಯ್ತು !!!!

ಈಗ ಮತ್ತೊಂದು ಹೊಸಾ ವರ್ಷ ಬಂದಿದೆ... ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ದೊಡ್ದವರಿಗಿದಾರೆ, ಜಾಸ್ತಿ ಜನ ಹಳೇ friends contact ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಇಲ್ಲ. ಆಗಿನ ತರಾ card ಮಾಡೋ ಆಸಕ್ತಿನು ಇಲ್ಲ ...!!!!

We were planning to visit to Dandeli from last one and half year, due to one or the other reason we were not able to visit. This time we all decided to visit Dandeli.

Because of the distance between Bangalore and Dandeli we decided to go by bus or train. Considering journey comfort we decided to go by Train. We fixed the 23^rd December will leave Bangalore and spend two days in Dandeli and back to Bangalore by 26^th December.

As we were visiting on year end and Christmas season, we decided to reserve the train tickets before 3 months. But no of peoples who will join was not clear.

After so many emails, discussions, calls finally I got the no of people who all are joining to trip.

I reserved the tickets for both way journey before three months of journey date. Nayak took care of cottage @ Dandeli.

Dandeli is the sanctuary of Hornbill. For more information regarding Hornbill visit site Hornbill .

Deepak sent many emails regarding Hornbill to boost guy’s interest.

We left to Dharwad from Yeshawantpur @9.20pm by rani channamma train. We reached Dharwad by morning 7.45. We went to Nayak home. After finishing breakfast we left to Dandeli :).

We reached Dandeli by 12 noon and Nayak’s uncle received us at Dandeli bus stand. Till now none of us have clear idea about what are things we are going to do in Dandeli. Everybody was asking about this.

As Nayak told he will take care of cottage, he had many round of discussions with his uncle. His uncle arranged a cottage which is around 9km from Dandeli. He told us that,at 3pm cottage people will take us to rafting.

After finishing our lunch we left for Rafting , which was near Ganeshgudi. After signing at so many forms, we were allowed to enter the Rafting point.

Before the start of event we all get the life jacket,helmet and row.

Everybody was ready to experience the most exciting and memorable time of our trip.

As we were 10 in number, we have to split into two groups of 5 people each and one group has to join the group of 4 people. No one was voluntarily ready to join; we pushed Harish, Raghu, Giri, Chandan and Kallu and force them to join :) :) . Niru, Nayak, Viajay, Deepak and Me formed the second group. First group was happy after joining the 4 member group; as its family with a beautiful girl :). We [2^nd group] joined Ravindra and his son Dhruv. There were total 5 rafts including 2 of ours.

We got Kim as raft instructor; he is the most experienced person in rafting and the leader of the raft instructors.

Kim started to row the raft after giving a COLD welcome to all [by sprinkling cold water :)]. He explained basic points of rafting, sitting position, how to hold the row and instructed us some command; and asked us to follow them strictly. Rafting was kick started after swimming in river with life jacket, . Everybody was so excited to experience the rafting.

Only Nayak and Vijay had a past experience of rafting. Vijay did it in the same place Dandeli and Nayak in Hrisikesh.

Just sailing a small distance in calm river we encountered the first turbulence.

Wooow it was awesome experience …!!!

Dhruv was shivering…

We faced some more turbulences before reaching the final one the Biiiiiiig one.

As soon as we entered the last drift our boat becomes unstable. At that time Nayak and Deepak were at front side and Dhruv was sitting in between them. He lost control and fell on Deepak who was left side of the boat and both fell down into the river. Kim was shouting to move right side of the boat but none were able to follow that instruction. In fraction of seconds Vijay who was left to me also fell down… Nayak tried to hold the Deepak’s leg and succeeded in some extent.. Deepak lifted the Dhruv; Ravindra and nayak pulled both of them into the boat. Vijay came to my right side from the bottom of the boat !!!. Kim and I pulled him into the boat..

Ooooh !!!! for some seconds everybody was stunned and Kim was so relaxed after finding everybody safe...

We did 5 rounds surfing before leaving to the end point. Everyone was very happy with the experience. Then we left to cottage after taking something for night ;) ...

Next day morning we checked out from the cottage after finishing the breakfast and hired a Jeep to visit Syntheri falls [30 km from dandeli], Ulavi temple [16 km from falls] and Kulagi nature camp [on the way to Dandeli from Ulavi] .

We reached the Syntheri falls at around 12 noon and spent a good time there. After finishing the photo session :), we left to Ulavi temple.

We reached the temple by 2pm. We took prasada at temple.

We reached the Kulagi nature camp at around 4pm. The camp is really good and comparatively cheaper than other resorts. Vijay enquired about the procedure for advance reservation of rooms. At that time we were buying the T-Shirt in the same office.

We went some distance into the forest with hope of finding deer. Unfortunately did not find any in that forest… while coming back Kallu told us he saw deer !!!! [Actually it was not deer..]. We came across a red squirrel at the tip of a tree while coming back.

We were about to board the Jeep, driver told us that there is a Deer park if you want you can visit….!!!!!

We reached the Dandeli by 7pm. We left to Dharwad by 8pm bus and reached there by 9.30pm. We halted in Nayak home.

We left Dharwad by 11.50am Chalukya train and reached Bangalore by 10.30 pm.

One week end evening Guru Deepak and Me visited the JP Park [it is our almost every week end routine] and were discussing about the Guru's higher education.He was flying to Sweden for almost 2years [if he takes more time to clear the subjects it may even extend ;)], with the hope of that he will finish his MS in 2years ;). We were teasing him with saying "don't worry guru we all friends will come with family to receive you" . Guru suggested to have a trip with all friends.Also it was almost a year we friends had been to a trip. So we planned for trip on first week of August, as Guru was flying to Sweden in mid of August.

Deepak took care of home stay and cab arrangement. As it is around 5-6 hour journey we left Bangalore around 1am. We reached mekanagadde around 6.30 am. Faced some difficulties to reach home stay, as we lost the path to home stay from mekanagadde village.Finally reached it around 7am. It was raining on the day and full environment was covered with mist. Throughout our stay at mekanagadde sun was hiding from us ;).
We had breakfast in home stay after settling in different rooms.
Prasanna, owner of home stay explained us the two days plan:

Day-1: Trek to hill called 'Ettina Bhuja'
Day-2: Trek to hill pandavara gudda.

After finishing breakfast prasanna gave a rifle with dummy bullets and asked us to aim a target. Everybody enjoyed it.

After that we left to ettina buja.It was drizzling and all of us were covered in a plastic long coat...

It was an awesome environment and did not feel any tiredness while trekking the hill. The hill resembles a Ox shoulder so it called as Ettina Bhuja.

We reached back the home stay around 3pm and slept well after having a good lunch :).

Second day morning after having breakfast we left to Pandavaragudda. It's believed that Pandavas took shelter on this hill at the time of there vanavaasa. So it is called as Pandavara gudda .

The wind was very turbulent at the top of hill.

We went to prasanna's farm after visiting pandavara gudda and water ball for some time there.

We left to Bangalore after having our lunch.

Cricket ಅಂದ್ರೆ ಯಾರಿಗೆ ಗೊತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ ?? ಎಸ್ಟೋ ಜನ ಕ್ರಿಕೆಟ್ ನೋಡದೆ ಇರೋರು ಕೂಡ at least score ಆದ್ರು ನೋಡ್ತಿರ್ತಾರೆ.
ಇ ಕ್ರಿಕೆಟ್ ಹುಟ್ಟಿದ್ದು ಇಂಗ್ಲೆಂಡ್ ಅಲ್ಲಿ . ಬೆಳೆದದ್ದು ನಮ್ಮ ಭಾರತದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಂತಾ ಹೇಳಬಹುದು. ಬಾಲಿವುಡ್ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಬಂದ 'ಲಗಾನ್' ಸಿನಿಮಾ ಅಂತು ನಮ್ಮ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಕ್ರಿಕೆಟ್ಗೆ ಒಂದು ಹೂಸ ಕಳೆ ತಂದುಕೊಟ್ಟಿತು .ಇತ್ತೀಚಿಗೆ ಬಂದ IPL, ಕ್ರಿಕೆಟನ್ನಲ್ಲು ತುಂಬಾ ದುಡ್ಡು ಮಾಡಬಹುದು ಅಂತಾ ತೋರಿಸಿಕೊಟ್ಟಿತು ..
ಕ್ರಿಕೆಟ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ವಿವಿದ ಬಗೆಗಳಿವೆ. 'Test' ಮತ್ತು 'one day' ತುಂಬಾ ಹಳೆಯ ಬಗೆಗಳು. ಇ 'T20' ತುಂಬಾ ಇತ್ತೀಚಿಗೆ ಶುರುವಾದದ್ದು.

ಸದ್ಯ ನಡೆದಿರುವ ಸರಣಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇಂಗ್ಲೇಂಡ ತಂಡ 1-0 ಇಂದಾ ಮುಂದೆ ಇದೆ .

Distance from shivansamudra to Talakadu: 30Km [Road was in worst condition]

This was the second trip with my colleagues. We started towards bluff at 7.30am from RR nagar after last pickup [Mine was first pick at 5.30am].

We reached Gaganachukki @ around 10 am. As we visited in the month of September [2009] we witnessed the beauty of 'Gaganchukki and Barachukki'. We spent some time there. Harsha,pallavi and sowmya were busy in Photo session and others were having fun in water.

One thing visitors should be careful with the monkeys.In our group sowmya was the victim as a monkey took her camera bag [with camera and mobile] and was having fun by dropping them from top of tree :).
Yuvaraj catches the things safely [not yuvaraj singh, Yuvaraj from our group].
After this exercise we went to 'Barachukki'. It is just a view point. We had lunch and moved towards Talakadu.

Shivanasamudra is the Asia's second hydro-electric power station.

The road to talakadu was really bad and we took almost two hour to reach Talakadu which is around 30km.
Talakadu has historical background.

We left talakad at 6.30 and reached bangalore by 10pm.

My First Pen...

ಮೊನ್ನೆ code ಅಲ್ಲಿರೋ bug ಗೆ fix ಯೋಚಿಸುತ್ತಾ ಕೀ ಬೋರ್ಡ್ ಕುಟ್ಟುತಿರಬೇಕಾದ್ರೆ ಔಟ್ಲುಕ್ one new message ಅಂತ ತೋರಿಸ್ತು, ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ relax ಆಗುವ ಅಂತ ಔಟ್ಲುಕ್ open ಮಾಡ್ದೆ. ನನ್ನ friend ಕಳಿಸಿದ "Ink stained Finger" ಅನ್ನೋ message ಓದುತ್ತಿದಂತೆ ನನ್ನ ಮನಸ್ಸು 15 ವರುಷಗಳ ಹಿಂದೆ ಸರಿತು...

ನಾವೆಲ್ಲ 3 ನೇ class ವರೆಗೂ slate ನ್ನೇ ಬಳಸಿದ್ದು. ಆಗ ಶಾಲೆಗೆ ಏನಾದ್ರು ರಜೆ ಅಂತ ಗೊತ್ತಾದ್ರೆ "ಪಾಠಿ ಮೇಲೆ ಪಾಠಿ ನಮ್ಮ ಸಾಲಿ [ನಮ್ಮ ಉತ್ತರ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದ ಭಾಷೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸೂಟಿ ಅಂದ್ರೆ ರಜೆ]" ಅಂತ ಕುಣಿದಾಡಿದ್ದು ನೆನಪಾಗಿ ನಗು ಬಂತು....

3 ನೇ ತರಗತಿಗೆ ನಾನು ಮೊದಲ Pen ಬಳಸಿದ್ದು... ಆವಾಗಲೇ ಮೊದಲ ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆ paper ನಲ್ಲಿ ಬರೆದಿದ್ದು ... ಅಲ್ಲಿಯವರೆಗೆ ಬರಿ ಮೌಖಿಖ ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆ ಮಾತ್ರ ಇತ್ತು.

ಅಮ್ಮ ನನ್ನ ಅಕ್ಷರ ನೋಡಿ, "ಏನೋ ಇದು ಕಾಗೆ ಗುಬ್ಬಚಿ ಕಾಲು ತರಹ ಬರಿತಿಯಾ" ಅಂತ ಬೈದು ತಿದ್ದತಾ ಇದ್ದರು. ಆವಾಗಲೇ ಅಪ್ಪ ತೊಗೋ ಇ ಇಂಕ್ ಪೆನ್ನನ , ಇದರಿಂದ ಬರೆದು ನೋಡು ಅಂತ ಮೊದಲ ಸಲ ನನ್ನ ಕೈಗೆ ink pen ಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ರು. ಏನೋ ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ಅಕ್ಷರ ಸುದಾರಿಸಿತಾದ್ರು , ಹೇಳಿಕೊಳ್ಳು ಹಾಗೆ ಏನು ವ್ಯತ್ಯಾಸ ಆಗ್ಲಿಲ್ಲಾ. ಆದ್ರೆ ಆವಾಗಿನಿಂದ ನಾನು ink pen ಉಪಯೂಗಿಸೋಕೆ ಶುರು ಮಾಡಿದ್ದು. ಆದ್ರೆ ಅಮ್ಮನ ಬೈಗುಳ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿತೇ ಹೊರತು ಕಮ್ಮಿ ಆಗಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಕೆಲವೊಂದು ಸಲ ಅಂಗಿ ಮೇಲೆ ಮಶಿ ಬಿತ್ತು ಅಂತ ಬೈದ್ರೆ ಇನ್ನೊಮ್ಮೆ ಪುಸ್ತಕದ ಮೇಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ಮಶಿ ಚೆಲ್ಲಿ ಬೈಸಿಕೊಂಡೆ. ಮತ್ತೆ ಊಟಕ್ಕೆ ಕುಳಿತಾಗ ಬೆರಳುಗಳಿಗೆ ಮೆತ್ತಿದ ink ನೋಡಿ ಅಮ್ಮ clean ಆಗಿ ಕೈ ತೊಳೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಬಾ ಅಂತ ಬಚ್ಚಲಿಗೆ ಓಡಿಸಿದ್ದು ಇನ್ನು ನೆನಪಿದೆ.

ಮುಂದೆ High school ನಲ್ಲಿ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರು notes ಬರಿಸೋ speed ಗೆ ಹೊಂದಿಕೊಳ್ಳದೆ ink ಪೆನ್ನನ್ನ ಪಕ್ಕಕೆ ಇಟ್ಟು ball pen ಉಪಯೋಗಿಸೋಕೆ ಶುರು ಮಾಡಿದ್ದು.
ಮತ್ತೆ ನನ್ನ ಕೈಗೆ ink pen ಬಂದದ್ದು PUC-II ಅಲ್ಲಿ, ನನಗೆ tuition ಅಲ್ಲಿ 'remember and recall ' ಅನ್ನೋ ಸ್ಪರ್ದೇ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಮೂರನೇ prize ಆಗಿ ನಮ್ಮ chemistry ಯ ಜಿಗಜಿನ್ನಿ ಸರ್ ಕೊಟ್ಟಾಗ.

ಇನ್ನು ಇಂಜಿನಿಯರಿಂಗ್ ನಲ್ಲಂತೂ ಎಸ್ಟೊಂದು pen use ಮಾಡಿದ್ನೋ ನನಗೆ ಗೊತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ....

ಹೀಗೆ ಹಳೇ ನೆನಪುಗಳ್ಳನ್ನ ತಾಜಾ ಮಾಡಿದ ಆ e-mail ಗೆ ಮತ್ತು ನನ್ನ ಆ friend ಗೆ ಒಂದು thanks.

ಜೀವನ ಒಂದು ಹೋರಾಟ.ಜೀವನದ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಂದು ಹೆಜ್ಜೆಯಲ್ಲೂ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬರೂ ಒಂದಲ್ಲ ಒಂದು ರೀತಿಯ ಹೊಂದಾಣಿಕೆ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತೇವೆ.ಬೆಚ್ಚಗೆ ತಾಯಿಯ ಗರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಇದ್ದ ಮಗು ಜನಿಸಿದಾಗ ಅಳುವುದರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಪರಿಸರಕ್ಕೆ ಹೊಂದಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಪ್ರಯತ್ನಿಸುತ್ತದೆ .ಮೊದಲ ದಿನ ಶಾಲೆಗೆ ಹೋದ ಮಗು ಏನನ್ನೋ ಕಳೆದುಕೊಂಡವರ ಹಾಗೆ ವರ್ತಿಸುತ್ತದೆ. ಕಾಲ ಕ್ರಮೇಣ ಶಾಲೆಯ ಪರಿಸರವನ್ನು ರೂಡಿ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡು ಬಿಡುತ್ತದೆ.ಕಾಲೇಜ್ ಟೈಮ್ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಆರಾಮಾಗಿ ಎದ್ದು ಮೊದಲ period ಬಂಕ್ ಮಾಡಿ,ತಿಂಡಿ ತಿಂದು ಎರಡನೇ period ಗೆ ಹೋಗುವ ಹುಡುಗ ಕೋರ್ಸ್ ಮುಗಿಸಿ ಕೆಲಸಕ್ಕೆ ಸೇರಿದಾಗ ಬದಲಾಗಿರ್ತಾನೆ ಅಥವಾ ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ಬದಲಾಯಿಸಿರತ್ತೆ . Cab ಪಿಕ್ ಅಪ್ ಟೈಮ್ ಬೆಳಿಗ್ಗೆ 7 ಘಂಟೆ ಎಂದರೆ 6 ಘಂಟೆಗೆ ಎದ್ದು ರೆಡಿ ಆಗ್ತಾನೆ. ಇನ್ನೊಂದು ರೀತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹೇಳೋದಾದರೆ ಅವನು ಹೊಸ ಟೈಮ್ ಗೆ ಅಡ್ಜಸ್ಟ್ ಆಗಿಬಿಡ್ತಾನೆ.
ಹುಟ್ಟಿನಿಂದ,ಅಮ್ಮ ಅಪ್ಪ ನ ಆರೈಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬೆಳೆದ ಮುದ್ದಿನ ಮಗಳು, ತಮ್ಮನ ಅಕ್ಕರೆ , ಅಣ್ಣನ ವಾತ್ಸಲ್ಯ ಎಲ್ಲವನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಮದುವೆಯ ನಂತರ ಇನ್ನೊಂದು ಮನೆಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಹೊಂದಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವದಿದೆಯಲ್ಲ ಅದು ತುಂಬ ಕಷ್ಟ....
ಇದೆ ತರಹ ನಾವು ಜೀವನದಲ್ಲಿ ಎಸ್ಟೊಂದು ಪರಿಸ್ಥಿತಿಗಳಿಗೆ ನಮಗೆ ತಿಳಿಯದೆ ಹೊಂದಿಕೊಂಡು ಬಿಟ್ಟಿರುತ್ತೇವೆ. ಇ ತರಹದ ಉದಾಹರಣೆಗಳು ಸಾಕಷ್ಟು ಸಿಗುತ್ತವೆ. ಜೀವನವೇ ಹಾಗೆ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬರನ್ನು ಪರಿಸ್ಥಿತಿಗೆ ತಕ್ಕಂತೆ ಹೊಂದಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತದೆ. ಜೀವನ ಕಲಿಸತ್ತೆ ನಾವು ಕಲಿಯಬೇಕು ..... ಅಲ್ವಾ...?

Some times back I got an e-mail the summary of the e-mail is as follows-

A disciple of budha approached him and said humbly “ master you are so much concerned about the world and others, why don’t you look into the welfare and needs of your disciples also?”

Budha : Asked him, tel me what you want?

Disciple: my attire has worn out and its beyond the decency to wear the same. Can I get the new one?

Budha: Asked the store keeper to give a new attire for his disciple.

Disciple was very happy and went to his room with new attire…

After some time budha went to disciples place and asked him , “are you comfortable with new attire? Do you want something?

Disciple thanked him and said he is comfortable with new clothes and need nothing more….

Then Budha asked him-

Budha: having the new attire, what you did with the old one ?

Disciple: “ I am using it as a bed spread”

Budha: “Then I think you have disposed your old old bedspread"

Disciple: “ No master I am using it as my window curtain”

Budha: “ What about old curtain”

Disciple: “ It is being used to handle hot utensiles in kitchen”

Budha: “ what about old cloths which were being used in kitchen?”

Disciple: “ now I am using those clothes to wash the floor”

Budha: “then what about old clothes being used to wash the floor….?”

Disciple: “ those clothes were in such a condition that I did not find any ways to use those… but using as twig in the oil lamp, which is currently lit in your study room …”

Budha smiled and left the room …..

If not to this degree of utilization , we can find many ways to use the old things . But many of us does not seems to bother about the old things once we get new ones. Thinking on this matter can help us to save things for our future

Malenadu [Beluru Halebidu Mullayanagiri Manikhyadhara falls]

This is the ideal time to witness the great beauty of malenadu. Hills will be covered with mist…. You will find the pearl like water droplets on the top of coffee plants… one should experience such climate…

I visit to dharmastala every year in the time of August/September.

This year we [ my friends and I ] planned to cover some surrounding places along with dharmastala

We planned to visit Kukke, Dharmastala, Chikkamagaluru, beluru, halebidu,Mullayanagiri,Bababudanagiri and manikyadhara.

Following is the brief introduction of two days.

14^th August: 9.45pm: Leave Bangalore by Kukke Bus

15^th August: 6AM: Reached Kukke

10.30AM: After Subramany swami darshana Left to Dharmastala.

12.30PM: Reached Dharmastala

4PM: finished darshana and prasada by.

5PM: Left to Chikkmagaluru and reached there by 9PM.

17^th August: 4AM : Reached Bangalore.

Kukke:
Kukke is around 300km from bangaluru. It is in dakshinakannada District.

Kukke is famous for Subramany swami temple and the trekkers dream spot Kumar Parvata is also here. Aadi Subramnya swami temple is on the bank of Kumaradhara River.

Devotes who have naga dosha performs special pooja in this place.

Dharmasthala:
It is around 75 km from Kukke. Dharmasthala is on the bank of Netravati river.

Dharmasthala is famous for Manjunath swami temple.

Beluru:

Beluru is around 25 km from Chikmagaluru. Beluru was the capital of the Hoysala Empire. The main attraction in Belur is the Chennakeshava temple.

Its believed that, Lord Vishnu in the form of Mohini killed Bhasmasura in this place. For this reason lord chennakeshava is decorated as mohini in the temple. , this temple is one of the finest examples of Hoysala architecture.

Elephant, lion, and Horse, represents-Strength,courage and speed respectively.

It was built by king Vishnuvardhana in commemoration of his victory over the Cholas at Talakadu.

Halebidu was the 12th century capital of the Hoysalas.

The architecture at Hoysaleswara and Kedareswara temple is the best architecture. The Hoysaleswara temple
was built during this time by Ketamala and attributed to Vishnuvardhana.

Mullayanagiri:
It is 18km from chikmagaluru. It is the highest peak in Karnataka.

Mullayanagiri is located in the Baba Budan Giri Range of the Western Ghats.

From Mullayanagiri we went to bababudanagiri, but unfortunately because of renovation of datt peeth, we were not able to go to peeth.

From here we went to manikyadhara falls. Its really good place and beautiful.

Kalavarahalli Betta

It is also known as Skandhagiri. This place is situated around 75 KM from Bangalore. This place is well known for the Sun rise point and night trek. It is around 10km from Chikkaballapura.
On the day of Ram Navami 3rd march 2009 we (group of seven members) left Bangalore around 11.30Pm (Hebbala fly over) . We watched Ramayana Play on the way to Kalavarahalli (The place was Avati). We reached Kalavarahalli at 1.30am.

We need to pass through the Chikkaballapura town to Kalavarahalli (As shown in image below)
We were equipped with torches and carried some snacks and water.
The starting point of trek is Papagni math. There are two routes to reach the top.
First one is the easy path which could take around 2 to 3 hours to reach peak and the second one is the most difficult path you should go with guide in this route.

We are accompanied by another five member group. We started our trek without guide through the second path around 1.45 am. We thought we are going in correct usual path but it takes around an hour to realize that we are in wrong path. Then from some point we call guide. He told us the further path is the most difficult one and ask us weather we wish to continue in same path are to start from initial point. We thought if we start from initial we would miss Sun rise, so we were proceed in the same path with guide.

There were two points at which we need to climb the rock which is around 70-80 degree steep. But guide helped each of us to cross these obstacles. Lakshman, Harsha and me slipped once and it was really horrible for us. Trekking with around 4 liter water was really horrible for me.

We took around 3 and half hour to reach the top; we were at top around 5.30am.6.30am Sun rise was really awesome (can see more photos in my web album). All of us really enjoyed that time. We took lots of snaps. After having snacks most us enjoyed a nap also.
We left the place around 7.30am. This time we came down through usual path. It was like a cake walk for us. The path seems to very easy as we faced the most difficult one while climbing. We amazed after seeing the path which we climbed. If asked to climb the through same path none of us will be ready for any cost. It was so steep.
While coming Down...

The most remembering moment of this trip is trekking through the difficult path, really enjoyed it.
Finally we reached the starting point at 9.30 and let the place by 9.45am. All of us were so exhausted. We reached Hebbala around 10.30 am.
