This is Leah and Chloe of <a href="http://www.myspace.com/risingappalachia">Rising Appalachia</a> singing "Tuli Tuli," an African birthing meditation song. It was a dedication to my yet unborn son, Jack. One thing you'll notice is the sound of the cicadas in the background. This became a kind of trademark to the Duckpond recordings and they just got louder and louder as the summer went on. This show was the last of the summer and took place on September 13, 2007. Oh, and Jack was born about 5 weeks later.

<itunes:explicit/><itunes:subtitle>This recording captures one of my favorite concert moments from last summer at the Duckpond.
