Profile: Stephen Paddock - Las Vegas mass murderer

noreply@blogger.com (Starfish) — Fri, 06 Oct 2017 01:23:00 +0000

Elements indicating psychological distress, repressed aggression and extremism are immediately evident when profiling mass murderer Stephen Paddock

The Aries-Libra polarity involving Sun, Venus, Neptune, Saturn shows a double-sided personality struggling to find balance: where Libra is compliant, co-operative, friendly and peaceful, Aries is angry, aggressive, selfish.

Paddock would have swung between these two character types.

chart source astro.com

No known birth-time for Stephen Paddock just allows a view into the pattern on his birthday

In addition the combination of Saturn and Neptune represents an internal conflict between empathy and compassion versus cold-hearted ruthlessness. Again he would have been capable of both, possibly reserving different modes for different contexts.

The Sun-Chiron connection indicates that Paddock's father and potentially older men in general served as a major psychologically wounding source, leaving him with the angry, violent residue he carried but may have largely controlled [Saturn opposite Sun] until shortly before his death.

Pluto opposite the Moon didn't do him any favours either -mother , family in general and potentially women in general were equally a source of empowerment when he could gain control..and disempowerment - due to childhood damage.

Paddock being born with Venus retrograde means the relating function is primarily internalised -lived out within the mind as opposed to in real world interactions

The extremism potential involves the mix of Mars-Jupiter-Pluto -and with Pluto and the Moon providing the emotional rage - Paddock kept acquiring the practical support he needed to extract revenge on life itself.

[Mars and Jupiter in Taurus provided the drive to accumulate money, property, possessions -and fatally a huge collection of weapons]

Pluto also linked to Saturn and Neptune shows both the highs and lows of his gambling addiction - heroic when winning [Pluto-Neptune] and a failure [Pluto-Saturn] when losing.

The mental health impact of compulsive gambling over a lengthy period must be factored in when considering elements which propelled his major meltdown.

Paddock was destined to succumb to emotional disarray with the Pluto-Moon-Saturn-Neptune combo and any addictive choice whether involving substances or compulsive behaviour would have served to crash his mental operating system.

From perspective of his journey in this lifetime Paddock was under immense internal pressure to change, to overcome his flaws and find some healthy form of self empowerment.

Fundamentally he had nowhere to turn with such a load of psychological dysfunction acquired from early dynamics with both male and female sources - parents and possibly other key figures.

Paddock's father who died in 1998 was a high profile bank robber and general criminal described by authorities as "psychopathic"

Family history unfolding since the mass murder reflects significant aspects evident in Paddocks astrological profile It would seem that this son carried a significant dose of his father's genes.

Pluto is always about power and the need for self transformation.

Some people consciously take the positive route of addressing their wounds and finding means of healing.

Others like Paddock are battling against the barrier of self protective repression. [Saturn] Not thinking. Not feeling. Not addressing how they got where they are.

This is a dangerous load to keep stored deep within the psyche. A lot can go wrong. A lot of damage left along the roadside of your life.
Paddock kept the lid on for so long that this was exactly like a pressure cooker exploding - but with his Moon in Aquarius and a self controlling Saturn - a cold, detached mindset and disengaged emotions - he was able to plan long in advance the destructive acts he subconsciously felt would settle old scores

Pluto is also the planet of death, the ultimate transformation from one state to another.

This planet effectively dominates the energy mix Paddock was born with. [Pluto connects tightly with a massive convoy of Sun-Moon-Venus-Mars-Jupiter, Mercury-Saturn-Neptune -a phenomenal intensity of potentially destructive force]

Paddock was truly a ticking time bomb with the clear intent to kill on a large scale

[Saturn is the clock. Pluto is the bomb]

His car at the Mandalay hotel contained ingredients for bomb-making.

His hotel room contained a high powered artillery.

He intended to explode jet fuel containers in the vicinity but the bullets failed.

He is likely to have scoped out another mass audience music venue in the week prior to the shooting.

His home address had a well-stocked gun room

The transit of Saturn reached 22 degrees SAG in late September 2017. This position was capable of activating 7 of Paddock's key planets already explored.
This truly was the timer activating an array of disordered psychological functioning.

Energy on the night of Oct 1 2017 at 10.05 when Paddock started shooting shows his timer had gone off

Saturn sits exactly to the right at 22 SAG in a position giving prominence to the theme of relating in a cold or distant manner. This energy also expressed as those relationships lost amongst the victims.

Pluto at nearly 17 CAP is in its natural location - the energy of death and transformation associated with the 8th house.

The Moon was in Aquarius, just like when Paddock was born -and right near the lunar nodes at 23 Leo-Aquarius - activated Paddock's birth Pluto 21 Leo

Jupiter in near exact opposition to Uranus in the signs Aries and Libra link back to Paddock's Venus in Aries -26 degrees.

Libra is connected to relating and to music.

Jupiter in Libra describes a big and happy music event

Uranus in Aries describes the sudden eruptive violence.

Together Jupiter and Uranus at this time and place describe the masses of people affected by an unexpected act of carnage.

Had Paddock continued to live he would have experienced even more psychological pressure and probably ever more dangerous disintegration.

The transit of Pluto had been near square to his Sun position 19 Aries since early 2016 but only coming to within 2 degrees of exact until early 2017.

February-March-April and June 2017 would have been times of intense stress for him with Pluto being at tight to exact 90 degree angle. It is likely this was the key period when his murderous intentions were deeply resolved.

Despite the fact that Paddock is no longer a living being, researchable findings indicate that physical death itself is not an escape from the pressures or benefits applied to the enduring psyche of a person.

For example when a dead rock star has a revival of public interest due to an album reissue it is seen to coincide with significant planetary activation of the prior life birth chart.

In this respect death in general and contrary to commonplace perception, death by suicide is also no escape.

Fatally Entangled energies: Kim Wall & Peter Madsen

noreply@blogger.com (Starfish) — Wed, 04 Oct 2017 04:43:00 +0000

An intense entanglement of energies collided when Kim Wall and Peter Madsen sailed off in his Nautilus submarine

Danish inventor Peter Madsen is held in custody related to the discovery of the dismembered body of Swedish born journalist Kim Wall in circumstances that seem more like an episode of The Bridge TV series set in the same area of Scandinavia.

Wall went of her own volition aboard Madsen's mini-submarine on Thursday evening August 10 2017 in order to write a profile of him. He evacuated from the sinking sub the next day saying first he had dropped her off at the port..then saying she had died on board in an accident and her body was disposed of into the sea.
Her dismembered headless corpse was found on August 21 washed up on a local beach despite clear efforts to weigh down and reduce the body's buoyancy.
The sub was reclaimed from the seabed and DNA from blood found on board was matched with Kim Wall.
Madsen was initially held on a preliminary charge of involuntary manslaughter.

Public interest in such a case is highly activated due to the strange, offensive and mysterious details.
Many will immediately see murder with sexual or gruesome elements. Others say they know Madsen had a combative personality with a reactive temper...but they never saw violence.
This case is likely to involve the fundamental ingredients of gender politics and so if testimonials regarding Madsen's personality were overwhelmingly from male associates they were unlikely to be the triggers for the worst potentials he may have been capable of.
Madsen was reportedly raised from the age of 6 by his allegedly abusive father [parents separated] along with four brothers.
Madsen's father was reportedly 36 years older than his wife.
After his damaging childhood Madsen as a teenager found a source of empowerment -through building rockets - which led to high ambitions in the space industry. The psychological elements related to creating massive power and leaving the planet are evident. But outer space was not enough - operating in the undersea environment in a huge machine -a self built submarine - became another obsession
So now the fundamental elements of Peter Madsen have been detailed: a childhood experienced as abusive, separation from his mother, a desire for empowerment, an unpleasant temper, obsessive dedication to extend his powers into other worlds.

Entanglement

Then in August 2017 a female journalist 16 years younger than him arrives in the early evening to carry out a profile interview while aboard the submarine.
Kim Wall had already at age 30 accumulated a stellar CV as an investigative freelance journalist. This was her home territory though her career came to involve constant travel and living overseas. She was a bright, bold and good humoured personality with a humanitarian heart, a strong sense of social justice, including feminist principles.

The last remaining images of Wall shows her standing with Madsen in the tower of the submarine Wall clearly smiling. Most likely anticipating yet another in her long succession of adventures - but this one had none of the overtly threatening hallmarks like the danger zones she had already passed through and survived.
This one was a fatal entanglement where two people's energies locked together in a highly volatile mixture -and the indicators are readily identifiable showing how intense this encounter was and how fated...as if Kim Wall sleep-walked to her death.

The Astrological Factors
Part 1
Astrology is a language and the planets provide the words that identify different kinds of energy.
When lacking full birth data [especially time of birth undetermined] a complete birth chart is not immediately possible - but a lot of information is visible on the day a person is born - and when two people experience a very intense encounter the indicators are numerous.

If the encounter is going to be difficult - or in the extreme - dangerous - there will be many conflicting energies.
The sheer amount of entangled energies creates the intensity of the response each person has to the other - it is very close in energy to the results of combining two volatile chemicals - like mixing hydrogen peroxide with sulfuric acid.

Peter Madsen has the sort of volatility that cannot be hidden. His anger management issues continually spilled over into his personal interactions. It is highly likely he could be classified as having an antisocial personality disorder. Such people are determined to have control and threats to that position raise hi-level alarms.

Kim Wall was a confident professional, accustomed to getting information. She felt psychologically secure enough and competent enough in her role to embark on the interview with Madsen unaccompanied.

The geometric angles of connection are examined to see which energies are strongly entangled.
Along with the usual geometric factors: conjunctions, squares, trines quincunx and oppositions - the very potent semi-squares and sesquiquadrates are always considered in my analysis.
It is also clear that it is the mathematics that rule -meaning that in simple terms if there are 6 elements in a chart at 14-16 degrees they are all interacting - no matter what zodiac sign/geometric angle connects them. This level of connectedness [as demonstrated to exist at the quantum level of energy] is also visible when all 15 degree distances are added either side of the main angles making it important note if any 15,45,75,105,135,165 degrees of separation between 2 elements [planets/luminaries/nodes/angles ] are adding to the standout themes - sitting covertly within the overt 0,30,60,90,120,150,180 traditional relationships considered important.

Madsen
The Sagittarius and Aquarius aspects strongly reflect his adventurous drive to explore [SAG] with inventing the domain of space being the Aquarian factors

Madsen's combination of warning signs:
Pluto sesquiquadrate Saturn - Pluto in any connection to Saturn is significant red alert due to the blend of energies seeking extreme control - using any ruthless, cruel and debilitating method.
Mercury-Jupiter-Pluto -all connected at 29-30 degrees show the extreme obsessive quality of his mind and his focus on total control
Chiron in Aries -trine Venus in Sagittarius - a wounded sense of self exposed in relating to others; a damaged personality that may overcompensate to mask his feelings of weakness
Saturn in Taurus opposite Mars in Scorpio - an underlying sense of insecurity regarding his manhood
Pluto square Mercury - an obsessive mind, over-thinking, over-analysing, plagued by disturbed thoughts
Mars conjunct Jupiter in Scorpio - excessive sexual energy either expressed as such or subjugated into an immense drive for attaining power. Poor impulse control.

All of the above factors are highly relevant and where any factors intersect or combine the potentials are further amplified.
The string of energies synergising Pluto-Saturn-Mars-Jupiter-Mercury provides the horrific outcome of the underlying Chiron-Venus damaged psyche

The timing
Mars square the lunar nodal axis - In August 2017 the transiting lunar nodal axis returned to Madsen's birth position 24 Leo-Aquarius.
At birth his highly impulsive Mars in Scorpio was at right angles to the nodal axis. August represents the turning point in his life where these extreme energies were activated bringing him into widespread public attention.

Previous research documented on this blog indicates that Madsen has multiple indicators consistent with the profiles of offenders perpetrating sex offender violence

Kim Wall's mutilated corpse showed multiple stab wounds.
Mars energy has a preference for weaponry-assisted violence -often sharp objects such as knives, swords as the urge is to stab or cut.
Guns are also favoured by those with excessive Mars energy.
Pluto is involved with acts involving disfigurement, cruelty, violation, degradation, dominance, confinement and control.
Saturn is particularly featured in crimes featuring restraining, disabling and confining.

Part 2
The entanglement of energies
Looking at Kim Wall and Peter Madsen combined

He would feel threatened and insecure in the face of her confidence and strength of personality

[Her Sun-Jupiter combination in Aries facing his Chiron in Aries; Her Aries Sun semisquare his Saturn in Taurus]

Whether conscious or unconscious a sexual chemistry is activated [His Mars is stimulated by her Venus and Mars and probably vice-versa -all 3 planets cluster around 21-23 degrees]

Her Saturn-Uranus-Pluto energies which signify experiences of restraint, control, disempowerment when connected to a disempowering energy are all triggered at 24 degrees [Pluto by semisquare; Saturn-Uranus at midpoint] Madsen's Mars-Jupiter combination has a 26 degree midpoint. His Mars-Jupiter- Sun midpoint is 23.5 Sagittarius.

Mars and Jupiter in Scorpio blending with a Capricorn Sun is a combination of intense motivation to have control and the prime target would be an energy perceived as either very free or too loose = typical Sagittarius in its open friendly unguarded style.
With both Saturn and Uranus combining in Sagittarius Kim Wall is likely in her personality to have polarised between being open, trusting and being guarded, self-restraining.

The karmic entanglement is likely to be a spill-over from a life before this one..a relationship with history that propelled them to meet again and perhaps settle a score..tragically in a most violent manner
[Her lunar nodes at 11Aries-Libra are a direct match for his Uranus at 11 Libra
In addition 11 degrees Libra is an exact semisquare to 26 Scorpio = Madsen's Mars-Jupiter in Scorpio.]

Sudden eruptive violence & Jupiter-Uranus-Pluto extremes

noreply@blogger.com (Starfish) — Wed, 04 Oct 2017 00:05:00 +0000

Powerful forces in combination at the beginning of October 2017 manifested as sudden eruptive violence impacting masses of people

Two locations -Las Vegas, USA and Catalonia, Spain attained global attention after violent events on Sunday October 1st

Both situations involved masses of people with hundreds injured as a result of the abuse of power.

In Las Vegas one man used high power weaponry to launch a murderous assault against innocent citizens at a music festival. Dozens were outright killed. Over 500 injured.

In Catalonia the Spanish state police viciously assaulted citizens attempting to vote in an independence referendum.

Protests then followed this brutal repression

The astrological hallmarks of the present outbreaks of violence, anger and power abuse significantly involve Jupiter, Uranus and Pluto

Jupiter-Uranus extremes

These two planets remain in tight to exact opposition in the period Sept 24-Oct 2. in this period extremes of aggressive behaviour have impacted masses of people.
Events in Las Vegas and Catalonia occurred on October 1st:

Jupiter in Libra and Uranus in Aries in opposition reveal extreme imbalances in the way many people relate. From very passive to very aggressive. From moderation to aggression. A sudden flip.

Under this influence sudden eruptive violence is high risk.

Pluto in an exaggerated phase from Sept 25-October 2 -being in a change of direction- virtually stationary direct - means that the issues typically associated with this energy are highly accentuated:
death, transformation, abuses of power, terror, disempowerment.

These issues are always Pluto-related but are given strong activation when Pluto is stationary [about to change to direct or retrograde] or when linked in to another planet.
In major, mass events there are always a string of energies combining.

On October 1 Mars at 16 degrees joined forces with Pluto at 16 degrees adding to the aggression factor.

The Moon on Aquarius on October 1 generated a spirit of rebellion in some and lawlessness, recklessness, emotional detachment in others.

The lunar nodes at 23 Leo-Aquarius had a direct link to the sun at 8 degrees Libra [Sun semisquare north node]
In this combination the signature theme of A high profile mass event involving human relating applies equally to both tragic eruptions of energy on that day.

Stephen Paddock

One lone gunman arguably caused more violence than scores of riot police in comparing the outcomes.
Police are attempting to discern the shooter Stephen Paddock's motive.
Numerous sources including a Wiki page quote his birthdate as April 9 1953
This makes him an Aries, ruled by Mars' aggressive force.
Moon in Aquarius = emotional detachment
Significantly he has 8 planets connected in a juggernaut pattern ranging from Sun at 19 Aries to Venus at 26 Aries and with 6 other forces all chained together - Chiron, Pluto, Mercury, Neptune, Jupiter, Saturn - sitting at positions from 20-24 degrees inside the Sun-Venus combo.
Ultimately the zodiac signs themselves are irrelevant -it is the tight connection of multiple energies ready to be sequentially set alight once an initial fuse is lit. Effectively a time-bomb personality. And 2017 brought the factors that would unhinge his fragile sense of self and disconnection from reality.
The multiple elements visible from his birthdate show Paddock to be emotionally detached [Moon in Aquarius], with poor relating skills [Saturn opposite Venus retrograde] reckless/rebellious qualities [Uranus square sun and sextile Mars] mentally disposed to escapism, fantasy, gambling, delusions [Neptune opposite Sun; Mercury quincunx Neptune and Saturn] anxiety, insecurity [Saturn conjunct Mercury] a sense of disempowerment in his relationships [Chiron in Capricorn; Saturn opposite Venus] found some sense of power through money [Jupiter square Pluto]

Society is populated with people just like Stephen Paddock who relate poorly and live in a fantasy world but the intensity of mental distress caused by the bunching of planets in his case gives a need to release the pressure.
The timing of his meltdown can be traced back to pressures building from early in 2017 and then also from August 2017.
The 15 degree eclipse in August activated his Mars-Uranus reckless energy combo

Jupiter and Saturn passing through 19-21 degrees in August began the activation of his juggernaut.
In September Jupiter went from 22-28 degrees -triggering 5 of his connected planets.
Jupiter is a big-time activator with excess and extreme being its signature energies.
Whatever Paddock had to unleash was under pressure to come out.
It seems he wanted so many people to pay for his suffering

Saturn at 21-22 degrees through September also activated 5 of his connected planets. He was under pressure to curb his excesses -and probably his gambling was getting out of control with the Saturn pressure now focussing on his gambling addiction [Saturn square Mercury]

Jupiter reached a powerful opposition with Uranus on Sept 28 at 27 degrees, close enough to his Venus in Aries at 26 degrees to activate extremely his violent capacity -something that may have been for the most part very suppressed in his life to date.

Pluto entering the picture in full brutal force at the same end of September period gave leash to a full volume abuse of power display.
One weak man with a ruthless artillery expressing his outrage against the innocent
Pluto at close to 17 degrees had been eating away at Paddock since February or March and had already reached the 19 degree position of his Aries Sun in early March before retrograding away back to just short of 17 degrees by late September. At this point the destructive capacity of Pluto resumed full conscious-command mode in Paddock's mind.

Everything had to be unleashed.
Given the extended build-up period of pressures on him since early in 2017 it is likely that his plan was hatched well in advance.
He may have recently scoped out other venues

Pluto offers a clear choice when it reaches the surface of your mind.
Change. Or die.
For some like Stephen Paddock the Die option also involves widespread catastrophic revenge.

September 2017 New Moon in Virgo

noreply@blogger.com (Starfish) — Tue, 19 Sep 2017 04:23:00 +0000

This New Moon brings big flavours of Jupiter, Uranus and Neptune into the mix.

scroll to end for regular updates

Typically a basic Virgo New Moon will see issues that reflect the flow and organisation around jobs, employment, workplaces = the tasks that feed the machine-like function of society - as well as the flow and organisation of your internal system in respect of what feeds your biological system: so matters of health, diet, nutrition are more likely to arise in the lunar period starting from a few days before 20 September - until the approach to the New Moon of 19 October 2017.

New Moon exact in Auckland with connected energies

But every luminary event has its own signature, no two are alike so attention is drawn to what other transient energies are caught up in the flow of energy from the Sun and Moon as captured when the exact phase occurs.

Early triggering before exactitude is as common as events occurring on or after exactitude -it depends which other connected energy comes into position and adds weight and flavour to an outcome.

With multiple factors in the range 21-27 degrees activation of the event themes can start as early as one of the planets reaching 19 or 20 degrees -then right through to 28-29.

For example, in September 2017 the Sun reached 19 degrees Virgo on the 11th and increased its typical one degree per day, joining Saturn at 21 degrees on the 14th.

On September 20 the sun reaches 27 Virgo, then joined by the Moon and both reaching Uranus and Chiron at 27 degrees.

Four factors at one degree position are all connected, irrespective of their different zodiac signs.

27 degrees is a position that triggers an angle at 12 degrees. Neptune holds this position.

What does this mean?

This is a euphoric energy for many & a suffering moon for many.
Many affected, either advanced or disadvantaged
Multiple factors in mutable energy indicate very changing, unpredictable, fluid conditions.

[Hurricane Maria in the Caribbean at Cat 5 on Sept 19 ]

Network flows are affected: within the body; in transport systems - as the roads and tracks represent the rivers on land. And sea routes, and sky paths are all potentially implicated

[update Sept 20 - Auckland several recent road incidents/crashes/injuries including college students mown down ]

[Saturn in Sagittarius affects transport flow being restricted]

Neptune is the water element showing some locations globally will literally get significant water effects.

Neptune energy can also be expressed through fluids, gases, oils and fuel

[no surprise Auckland began to experience a significant fuel crisis on September 19]

Jupiter and Uranus in tight opposition began merging closer from Sept 16 and remain at 2 degrees offset at the New Moon.

These two are like a pair of wild stallions each trying to outdo each other as they gallop together, harnessed and pulling a wagon-load.[we are the wagon load]

[ two political leaders battling to win the race come to mind]

They are contributing a lot of volatile energy, changing conditions, instability, recklessness, this could flip into wanton disregard for the responsibility involved in hauling their transport.

This combination also creates high risk of transport/traffic accidents

Take extra care and avoid anyone driving like a wild horse.

Neptune's exact opposition to Mercury creates confused states of mind, distraction, -or functioning under the influence of Neptunian addictive/toxic substances -drugs, alcohol.

It also can dispose people to deceit, lies, fantasy, overblown imagination

[eg politicians accused of all these excesses in campaign period]

The wild horses who lose control will likely have consumed something that impairs judgement, be sleep deprived, or will be in a vague, confused, inattentive or mentally overloaded state - all likely precursors to unsafe operation of any form of transport.

With the NZ general election just days after exact New Moon = new cycle, new beginning - the flavours will morph into that scenario and express in relevant ways - Neptune can manifest as: confusion regarding the outcome is possible; fraud/deceit or illegal voting detected, hopes wishes and visions for a caring society fulfilled or simply a state of mental mush, being unable to comprehend what happens.

The Sun-Moon-Uranus-Jupiter-Chiron effect in the election contest shows one the one hand the euphoric [Jupiter] victors starting a new job and experiencing a sudden change of life circumstances and the flip side of the same coin - those who are ousted, also facing a sudden change of lifestyle & feeling wounded. [Chiron]

Some fortunes will reverse in the course of vote-counting.

These are the outcomes in the contests with clear election night results.

Those that are too close to call due to uncounted special votes may linger in the Neptunian fog for some days.

The triumphant Party could also be sitting in the fog -undetermined at night's end in the strong Neptunian energy latches onto this event.

For the bulk of society - outside of politics - try to avoid the pitfalls of Neptune -substances that impair the mind. Look after your health by beginning a new diet, new nutrition.

If starting a new job make sure your contract is clear before signing -errors, miscommunication are also a significant risks all month.

Take extra care when operating any form of transport -road, rail, sea, air.

eyes of the triple storms

There's a lot going on in this lunar month - lots happening, situations changing rapidly, even reversing -stuff to make your head spin - matching the hurricanes in the Caribbean - -and as always certain people are more affected -all relative to your own personal energies and how they match up with the current patterns.

The 27 degree position = extremes
Extreme forces are forecast. September has already shown extreme weather events within the first 3 week period and the energy for this will remain in effect for vulnerable zones due to retriggering.
27 degrees has environmental consequences in terms of significant disturbances in earth's atmosphere.
When an accumulation of energies fall in the range 25-29 degrees they synergise around the midpoint 27.
27 is significant due to 27 Sagittarius being the current -and extremely slow-moving - position of the Galactic Centre - the rotational centre of our Milky Way galaxy, where a super-massive Black Hole exists.
The centre has qualities which interestingly mimic the sun:
On 5 January 2015, NASA reported observing an X-ray flare 400 times brighter than usual, a record-breaker, from Sagittarius A. The unusual event may have been caused by the breaking apart of an asteroid falling into the black hole or by the entanglement of magnetic field lines within gas flowing into Sagittarius A, according to astronomers -source Wikipedia also NASA

-the ability to produce X-flares and the presence of entangled magnetic field lines are both events that occur on the Sun.

Prior observations by the blog author have noted major environmental events clustering when there is a significant energy build-up on or closely around the 27 degree position or on/around its trigger angle 12 degrees especially if a prior eclipse or new moon/full moon inhabits those degrees [Aceh tsunami 26-12-2004; Christchurch quake 22-2-2011; Japan nuclear events & 2011 tsunami; Galveston Hurricane of 1900 ; September 2017 hurricanes & a dedicated post Extreme Weather from the Galactic Centre]

So extreme weather including wind, rain, flood, seismic unrest with tsunami have all been observed along with human generated extremes when planets cluster on or close to the 27 or 12 degrees positions and this may reflect a resonance with the 27 degree position of the galactic centre.

Multiple Mass Evacuations
Mass evacuations of people have been particularly noticeable in the period under the influence of the August 21st 29 degree total solar eclipse [effective period August 2017-February 2018]
The mass departure of Rohingya muslims from Burma to Bangladesh
Mass evacuation from Florida USA to flee Hurricane Irma
Evacuations in Puerto Rico due to Hurricane Maria
Caribbean evacuations
Mass evacuation in Bali due to Mt Agung volcano erupting
This phenomenon of masses of people in movement due to forced abandonment of their home/lifestyle due to a severe environmental or societal threat has been observed before in the effective period of a major solar-lunar event which is positioned in the range of 25-29 degrees
Prior examples posted on this site involved earthquake/tsunami events occurred in Japan and New Zealand in February-March 2011 after the December 2010 total lunar eclipse at 29 degrees

updates 20 Sept 8.03am NZT

A destructive mag 7.1 quake near Mexico City now adds to the force of Hurricane Maria in play in the Caribbean during this high risk time frame.

two large quakes -11 days apart

These events follow the sequence of total eclipse, full moon and approaching New Moon -and the sun unexpectedly emitted large X-flares disturbing earth's geomagnetic field - all these events contained in a four week time frame and all bore signatures of earth-impacting energies
During this period the most high profile environmental events already have been multiple hurricanes in the Caribbean, now 2 large quakes in Mexico...and the new lunar month is just beginning.
Events in doubles and triples have arisen
The Jupiter-Uranus opposition is the one to watch in this current context - the struggle for balance, readjustment..energy realigning..has been featured before in big quakes.
Meanwhile the nuclear option remains on the table due to North Korean missile testing provoking global alarm..and USA's Trump threatening to "totally destroy" North Korea

Mexico September 19 2017 and Christchurch New Zealand Feb 22 2011
There are significant energetic resonances between these two major earthquakes.

Mexico has occurred in the extended activation period after the 29 Leo total solar eclipse .
Christchurch occurred with multiple factors [Mercury, Mars, Neptune & Chiron at the polar opposite position 28-29 Aquarius, with Uranus combining at 29 Pisces, nodes at 29/0 - and following the 29 Leo full moon.
This intensity of mathematical clustering is regularly encountered in major events

August-September 2017 and the cluster from 25-29/0
Total solar eclipse and critical cluster on 21st set the template for following 6 months -ready to be reactivated as other factors reach those critical degrees

Sept 20 2.42pm M5 quake in seabed shakes central New Zealand - including the capital city Wellington, seat of parliament

Very quakey time
Quakes widespread in the M4.5 range up to M7.1 in the week to Sept 21

Very volcanic time
a cluster of event warnings around New Moon
-a string of volcanoes in imminent eruptive phase

Very Crazy time
With Donald Trump and Kim Jong-un - hurling annihilation threats

Pluto
Pluto emphasises issues around sex, death, self-transformation and use/abuse of power.
For some people one or more of these issues will be more significant in the period Sept 22-Oct 6 2017

With Pluto in a stationary direct phase..virtually still.. in the days Sept 22-Oct 6 2017 -this enhances all other intense factors. In society this impacts the political arena and raises problems with inadequate or failing infrastructure.

On an interpersonal level bullies are prone to behaving worse, power abuse is something needing to be challenged, disempowerment needs to be worked on.
An opportunity for all of us to adopt the wise choice, respond as an adult...not as a wounded child

Remember that New or Full Moon themes begin days before exact and are potentially active for the lunar month until the next sun-moon event.
Other planets coming into an activating position in relationship to the sun-moon positions will usually create outward expressions of one or more of the themes.

Kim Jong-un - power crazy in 2017

noreply@blogger.com (Starfish) — Tue, 05 Sep 2017 04:35:00 +0000

North Korean President Kim Jong-un is gaining global attention in 2017 in a period coinciding with the effects of transiting Pluto.

President Kim was born on Jan 8 1984 - a Capricorn with Saturn and Pluto in Scorpio.

The Sun was at 17 Capricorn on his birthdate and transiting Pluto has lingered around 16-17 Capricorn since early 2016.

The activation of Kim's Capricorn potentials is also accompanied by the energies of Scorpio being triggered - since his significant planet is Saturn and the current Pluto effect will also bear a connection to Scorpio themes.

What does this mean in lay terms?
Capricorn and Scorpio are the two most control oriented astrological energies - as expressed through their respective planets Saturn and Pluto.

Pluto in Scorpio is extremely controlling.

Scorpio themes also include a fascination or significant focus on death or at least radical transformation.

Capricorn wants to be the big boss, the leader the ultimate authority.

Through his testing of mega-death weaponry Kim is sending a message to the world that he wants to be accepted as the supreme leader on a global scale not just in his own isolated nation.

All weaponry is a technology of power and its use overwhelmingly constitutes an abuse of personal power.

By employing top of the range nuclear weaponry, Kim is toying with the most lethal of technologies and threatening a gross misuse of power by placing the lives of millions at risk.

His sustained testing program is a testament to the wilful determination to show the world what he wants others to think he is made of but the psychological impairment behind such a need reveals the fragility within - he is in effect operating under a grandiose facade.

The effect of transiting Pluto activating the desire for global power will be sustained through to late 2017 [ by mid December Pluto reaches 18 Capricorn then continues moving away ] but a restraining effect from Saturn in late November could result in him having to show much greater restraint [Saturn at 27 Sagittarius will conjunct his natal Jupiter at 27 Sagittarius]

Jacinda Ardern or Bill English for PM?

noreply@blogger.com (Starfish) — Tue, 05 Sep 2017 00:21:00 +0000

Who's got the right fuel in the tank in September 2017 to take the job of New Zealand Prime Minister?

scroll to end for latest analysis

It's Leo Jacinda versus Capricorn Bill and the fire versus earth energy difference has become increasingly clear as the volume is raised in the run-up to the 2017 election.

scroll down for latest updates to September 18

If full birth data were available the whole picture would be up for analysis in determining who will prevail..who has the right stuff at the right time to take the big prize - but insights are on offer giving particular likelihoods.

The transiting energies at any one point in time will enhance or challenge a person's fundamental energy potentials.

Looking at Bill English at the Sept 4 debate with Jacinda Ardern his power planet Pluto was activated by the Sun and he came out predictably in a forceful manner.

As the final week of campaigning arrives he is likely to be buoyed by the amount of popularity he is experiencing when amongst his supporters.

By Sept 21 he is likely to feel strong enough to win.

The general indicators are that English has the capacity to launch all his arsenal before the election but planetary indicators suggest there is no expected surge of energy after the election - as would be required during post election negotiations

Jacinda Ardern, in contrast has a steady momentum from her starting point as leader in August, extending through September and revealed in the likely post election negotiation period as a lot of very focal energy being activated.

Ardern has a string of 6 birth energy factors [Pluto, Neptune, lunar nodes, Uranus, Venus, Saturn] all sitting in a tight range from 19-23 degrees which will all be activated in the campaign and in the first fortnight of the October post-election period.

Bill English has no equivalent post-electoral boost.

He was born with enough intensity of energy eg Sun-Mars-Mercury-Pluto combination which has given him political stamina but the election period in 2017 indicates the power boost available to him during campaigning will not be sustained in the aftermath of 23 September.

Jacinda Ardern is most likely to prevail based on factors analysed.

update September 15
In terms of energy cycles the previous election most relevant to 2017 is the 2002 NZ general election held 27-7-2002.
The superficial parallels are that the Labour Party had a female leader: Helen Clark and she faced off against Bill English.

sourced from Wikipedia entry

At that time Clark was the incumbent, gaining a second term in office from the 2002 election.
National led by English suffered its worst ever defeat, gaining just 21% of the vote.
English was 39 when elected leader of National in 2001 [only one younger leader in National's history]
Labour's Ardern was elected Leader at age 37 in 2017
English lost the 2002 election one day after Ardern's 22nd birthday -she was born 26 July 1980 - a fascinating energy connection -and not the only one - and this one shows that English has a wounding memory that is activated by Ardern.

Comparing prevailing energies in 2002 with 2017 one standout factor is the relevance of Saturn to the realm of politics.
Saturn energy and its zodiac representative Capricorn are commonly found amongst the ranks of high profile politicians and managerial business people.
English has 5 birth planets in Capricorn and he displays the typical traditionalism and conservatism of this sign.
Ardern has Moon in Capricorn but also gains her political genes through the signs Libra and Cancer [3 factors] which all channel the political approach - but into a predominantly more classically female expression - she is the yin to English's yang.

Will it be Billy Goat

In 2002 the critical political force Saturn expressed through Gemini.
In 2017 Saturn is in Sagittarius.
This Saturn cycle is about minds, ideas, philosophies, beliefs.
Ardern has been far more identified with the visions and values she has for New Zealand.
English has stuck to the often-hollow sounding "strong economy" which alienates all the suffering citizens cast aside by the harsh artillery of neoliberalism.

The Saturn positions comparing 2002 to 2017 are in exact opposition - with Saturn reaching 22 degrees in the critical period of each of the election campaigns.

Saturn in Gemini definitely didn't work for English in 2002.
In 2017 other influences mean he is a lot stronger. 15 years more experience.
His elevation to party leader has emboldened him.
The planet Pluto transiting through Capricorn since 2009 has helped him hone his political skills.

Jupiter also didn't work for English in 2002.
At 29 Cancer at that election it exactly opposed his Saturn at 29 Capricorn urging him to embrace a riskier more open style but caution prevailed.
In 2017 Jupiter is 26 Libra at the election, reaching 29 two weeks later.
In 2017 English has come out of his fiscal shell and lapped up the public adoration.

English has never won an election while Prime Minister.
This is his first attempt and so it is a very significant political achievement for him if he can pull it off. Being at the peak of the mountain is always Capricorn's goal

Whether the links between energies in 2002 and 2017 work for or against English cannot be clearly determined without his complete birth chart - but it is clear the two elections are connected and English in 2017 has shown a determination to bury the damage he suffered in 2002. He has put up a mostly strong but sometimes desperate fight showing the painful memories are still resurfacing.

The progress he has made in 15 years has made him battle hard in the face of the tightest political race ever in NZ and not one he anticipated before the shock resignation of Andrew Little. This surprise change of dynamics and the meteoric rise of Ardern would have activated considerable anxiety about his political karma.

or Angel Ardern

Though Ardern is the true born Leo, the karmic pairing of her with English is played out again in the fact that both share a lunar node in Leo ..rather odd for a Capricorn like Bill but his public persona has responded in a very Leo way to the selfie generation and adoring crowds..taking up the Leo baton from Leo John Key and having to compete with Leo Ardern.

English has north lunar node at 19 Leo
Adern's is at 20 Leo.
This close conjunction places these two in very interesting territory from the perspective of karmic entanglement...meaning these two have old scores to settle.

Both have risen markedly to the challenge of taking control of government in 2017: English has done well to shed so much of his staid image; Ardern has risen like a rocket into the realm of public adoration and name recognition, justifying the term Jacindamania.

Both are highly motivated, determined ambitious people but English is already very much a figure of history, peddling ideologies that have failed spectacularly, but still trying to toss pieces of cake into the crowd. In contrast Ardern in vision and in generation is the tidal flow of the future.

Being neck and neck in the week before election results are tallied the outcome very much rests on whether New Zealand is ready to swim with the coming tide or prefers to battle on against the inevitable.

Our collective karma blended with the karma of two very different choices.

update:
Astrology King gives an excellent summary of the psychological themes to be evoked at the potent New Moon on September 21st preceding and influencing the NZ election

There are indicators that both English and Ardern will feel the effects in keeping with their own distinct personal issues.

update September 18
The closest lunar event around election date 23 September in the New Moon of Sept 20.
This - like all lunar events - has its own specific signature - and no two are exactly alike due to the added influences from any planetary positions linked in to the positions of the Sun and Moon

New Moon means new conditions, new beginning, start of a new cycle
A Virgo New Moon has relevance in a societal context to employment and health issues

The new moon is mutable = expect very fluid, changing conditions
3 other influences add to the change and fluid themes
the new moon at 27 degrees is in tight connection to Uranus at 27 degrees and Jupiter at 26 degrees.
Neptune sitting at 12 degrees kicks in by angle to anything at 26/27 degrees
all this energy will energise the significant over-riding themes in the days approaching Sept 20 and through the lunar month till 19 October
a crisis in terms of a leak in the aviation fuel pipeline to Auckland airport expresses a lot of the disruption energy that is embedded with Uranus in the picture
the fluid and changing energy also contains elements of confusion, lack of clarity, people asking "What's happening?"
the changing energy can deliver reversals of fortune -where one condition is quickly overturned eg a win becomes a loss [as shown on The Block NZ auction night]
the potential impact on the NZ elections has to remain as a possibility...such as a result so tight that no one can immediately work out who has won..this could be revealed in individual seats as well as in the interim party results. People who think they have sneaked in on a knife edge also vulnerable to recount reversal. This will all extend the suspense...and it will be even murkier if allegations of fraud, vote tampering, double voting or other illegal activities are revealed as having an impact on results. Already there has been exposed a big issue around misinformation from electoral staff re voting on the Maori roll but more issues are likely to arise

update September 21

Bill English's - destiny turning point

With the polling variability being consistent with very fluid conditions [see this blog's Sept 20 New Moon report] many observers are feeling the tension of not having a clear handle on the likely outcome of the NZ 2017 election.

Due to the lack of an outright dominating momentum as days approach final voting, further destiny analysis has been explored for this post - related to Bill English.

It shows that while he experienced very positive bursts of energy and empowerment on the campaign trail, the picture shifts significantly in the weeks and months ahead.

The overall highly likely scenario based on multiple factors in play is that the election will not deliver a mandate for him.

Energies of challenge and change surround him particularly from the end of September.

It is well within the realm of possibility that English will either step down as party leader - or even more likely given the strength of the influence, that before May 2018 he will once again resume a background role - such as a return to running the finance portfolio or resign completely, leaving politics.

The influences urging him to break free from his conservative mould and do something different with his life will have been reinforced by his experiences on the campaign trail -where many observers have noted the change in him, different sides to his personality being revealed.

In addition the challenges to his integrity have quite probably -given the influences affecting him - delivered something of a moral crisis - painted into a corner by his own political machine and perhaps compelled to do and say things for the sake of retaining power and political expediency.
Being a Catholic as well as a Capricorn [with Sun Mercury, Venus, Mars and Saturn in that sign! ] ethics, integrity & the moral high ground is important. Breaching those boundaries ought to have have caused him considerable angst.

So combining a moral crisis with a personality crisis within the context of this political campaign the forces pressuring him onward to a different destiny look to be highly activated after final voting and the aftermath is likely to deliver life-changing decisions for him.

update September 24
If you only read NZ's main Sunday print media today you would think MMP did not exist and National had won.
What a sorry state of affairs. [the inept media!!!]
With neither party nor either likely coalition reaching a winning majority at the first marker both will need to negotiate a deal with the 3rd highest polling Party NZFirst. This didn't stop National's Bill English claiming "moral authority" to govern. pfffft
The word moral is only interesting because of the moral quandary eating away at his Catholic soul.
During this campaign English has descended into a pit of misrepresentation, lies and deceit -and many in the media have at least noted this.

Fast rewind back to 2005.
Neither National nor Labour had an outright majority so under MMP negotiations ensued.
Labour got to govern once a very happy Mr Peters signed up a confidence & supply agreement and got the job of Minister of Foreign Affairs.

This time he could sign up with Labour and get Deputy PM or maybe one of his preferences like Finance or Foreign Affairs.

There's a 12 year cycle in effect that amplifies the goodies for Peters.
Jupiter was in the range 23-27 degrees Libra in the post election weeks after the September 17 2005 NZ election.

In 2017 Jupiter was at 26 Libra on Sept 23 election day and passes through 27 degrees over the following week

In 2017 Jupiter is in exact opposition to Uranus sitting at 27 Aries in the same time frame

Why do these energies of upsets, change, surprising events and reversals of fortune involve Winston Peters?

His communications and relating energies [Mercury and Venus sit] are at 25-28 Aries
and Thursday 28 September will see the prevailing Jupiter-Uranus mix intensely activate his Mercury-Venus combo..this reflects the negotiation gyrations

It is after this point [Sept 30-Oct 1] that Bill English really wanes...momentum lost, oppositional forces strengthen

update September 25

In the bluntest of terms elections are not about the benefit of the country, they are about Power.
Bill English built his sense of empowerment to a high point during the 2017 campaign but the game changed on election night..a loss of power due to being just short of total victory -even with 1 outside partner - and therefore unable to claim the right to govern.
Though he claimed a moral victory and the rights of the largest party to govern none of that has ultimate relevance if the magic number 61 is not reached.

So after Sept 23 if Special Votes cannot deliver 3 extra seats English is forced into National's "dead rat" moment -having to bow to the demands of powerbroker par excellence Winston Peters

In the 1990 National government, with Peters as Minister of Maori Affairs, Peters disagreed with the party leadership on a number of matters and frequently spoke out against his party regarding them. This made him relatively popular with the public. However, his party colleagues distrusted him, and his publicity-seeking behaviour made him increasingly disliked within his own party. While National may have tolerated his difference of opinion, they were far less willing to accept public criticism from a Cabinet minister which they determined was undermining the party. In October 1991, Bolger sacked Peters from Cabinet -Wikipedia

Bill English seconded the motion to sack Peters in 1991.

Peters was sacked again by National in 1998.

His last political arrangement was with the Clark government of 2005-2008.

In effect he has been somewhat in the political wilderness since election 2008 when he lost Tauranga -but the surprising win in Northland against National in 2015 put Peters back in the frame ahead of the 2017 battle.

Preliminary 2017 results say National regained Northland again, returning Peters to the party list position.

All of these factors give Peters a renewed hunger to claw back as much power as possible.

Although time is not on his side at age 72, sheer bloody-minded determination is his forte.

The history, the emotional baggage is undeniable between Peters and English and Peters and the National Party -even though he is capable of deciding to work against them from within.
He said on Sept 25 he would do what is right for the country - which is a typical clear as mud statement from him, open to multiple misinterpretations.

The challenging interpersonal dynamic between English and Peters has been explored more fully in this related post

Peters has baggage with Labour under Clark but nowhere near as much as with National.

What is clear is that he is happy to battle with either side while being within a formal coalition with them

So none of the standard arguments or logical conclusions apply when dealing with Peters.

Any party dreaming of a "coherent stable government" while Peters is in the mix is thinking extremely wishfully.

Peters now has a huge incentive at this point in his political career to make his mark and remain unmovable or barely shifted in most if not all of his demands.

October

October 7-12 is the critical period to watch regarding final votes tallied then those results formally declared

Using just the data available for date of birth for all 3 players :

Jacinda Ardern is strong in the period 7-12 October with a theme of tough political negotiations

[Saturn, Venus and Mars exact on her Venus]

On October 12 two indicators give a theme of political responsibility - but that will come at a cost and under conditions that will be severely testing for her.

The influences surrounding her show that Ardern if she wins this battle, will have to make some heavy political decisions and disappointing the Greens is probably in the frame.

Delivering the greater good will require some highly pragmatic political expediency

[Mars and Saturn activate her Saturn]

Ardern has an inbuilt juggernaut of energy at her disposal if and when she chooses to use it.
The combination of 6 energies in a tight sequence continues to be in play through the campaign and extends into the post voting day period.
The energy combo includes her strongest planets [Pluto, Saturn] with one of each at the start and conclusion of this energy train which gives her the strength and stamina to push herself through despite the level of adversity.
From October 5-12 this burst of intense energy is especially loaded for action.
October 16 has three politically supportive energies for her.
October 25-27 is a period to watch. Two energies elevate Ardern into a very fortunate, optimistic position.
If by this time is is clear a deal has been done, this looks to be a very positive time.

Winston Peters has strong activation in the period 5-7 October with a theme of very vigorous detailed discussions, finer points battled over

[Venus and Mars exact on his Jupiter and activating his Aries Sun]

His most natural day for political formalities will be middle of the day on October 11

[Moon conjunct his Saturn]

His capacity for an unconventional, evasive, mystifying style of communication is heightened in the period which will test any negotiators

[ Neptune activating his Uranus and Mars]

Bill English has one indicator in the period 5-7 October

It's like he has to do a deal with the devil to retain his sense of empowerment and turn that into real power [some might say he has already dealt this way in his style of dirty politics in the campaign]

Part of him wants to be totally unencumbered by the messy nature of MMP and it's worst nightmare, Winston Peters. The other part says I have to. No choice.

This extreme dilemma is a big undermining factor for English.

There will be a strong urge in English to avoid any political strangulation but MMP is setting him up for such a dynamic if he takes Peters on board

[Jupiter challenging his Saturn energy]

This situation raises the potential that English will be so backed into a corner by Peters that a resolution will be unattainable.

From October 1 there are more forces against him than with him, more indications of a change of job begin to strengthen in October and are sustained during a 6 month period.

[Uranus challenging his Saturn]

At best this could express as a change within his current role, being forced to work differently by Peters. At worst he does a John Key recognising he has seen his high water mark.

Both Ardern and English will battle as hard as they can with the consummate brawler to form a government and this English-Ardern contest is as hard to score - with all the ups and downs - as a bout in the ring - whether you're a political pundit or using alternative methods of assessment.

With the strong positive political indicators showing for Arden on October 12 she may have lost her smile just occasionally during the hard fought claim to lead the country but her odds remains high - in terms of the flow of energy - to survive the battle and be installed as Prime Minister.

Though some information is missed by not having full access to personal birth data for any of the candidates, which can remove counter factors from the argument, sometimes enough is visible to suggest the way things might pan out.

[Saturn is political energy.

Jupiter and Uranus combined indicate change, shifting energy, success or reversal of fortune

Venus and Mars energise the interpersonal dynamics

Neptune is the evasive, confusing element]

further analysis has been added in the Sept 25 update adding further notes re the energy picture for Ardern in October

Jacinda & Winston or Bill & Winston

noreply@blogger.com (Starfish) — Tue, 29 Aug 2017 04:57:00 +0000

Examining the potential coalition options emanating out of the nationwide general election of 2017 the question arises as to how much inherent compatibility exists between the third party leader and the leaders of the traditional political Right and Left
The key figures as at late August are Jacinda Ardern [Labour], Bill English [National, Winston Peters [NZ First]

Energy analysis based solely on 11 energy factors* in effect on the date of birth for each participant gives a distinct picture.

Jacinda with Winston
Jacinda Ardern born 26-7-80 and Winston born 11-4-45 are both Fire signs -an immediate capacity for bold assertive conduct. She is a Leo -sign of the heart and known for their sunshine quality and he is that most masculine of signs Aries. This fire compatibility creates a basic level of energetic comfort.
Both have the water sign Cancer in a significant role -housing and family matters are important. The capacity to care about people underlies their motivation.

Both have the earth sign Virgo trait of being hard-working.
Both are strong personalities and this could result in some standoffs, jockeying for power but Jacinda is likely to be quite diplomatic and compromising towards Winston's renegade qualities. Her soft side will be quite calming for him. She is comfortable working in partnership. His natural instinct is more stand-alone but he can respond to the benefits of co-operation.
She has the capacity to balance out his rough edges
He will respect Jacinda when she reveals her depth of focus and commitment even if her strength is a challenge to him.
Overall an 8/10 compatibility rating

Bill with Winston
Bill -born 30-12-61 is a Capricorn -an earth/practical sign and his backstory is very typical of the sign of the Goat..rising out of the lowlands of agriculture slowly, steadily into the lofty peaks of the Beehive to attain the role of Prime Minister.
You would therefore think Aries [the Ram] would get on famously with Capricorn - but the ram is the young blood in this contest [despite Winston being the Elder statesman.] Aries is forceful, pushy and impatient where Capricorn is slow, restrained and steady. These two signs are regarded as having fundamentally incompatible energies.
And where Winston is loaded with Aries energy [Sun, Mercury, Venus] Bill is loaded with Capricorn [ Sun, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Saturn] Slow and Steady. Mr Family Man. This is the No Thrills package with only one Fire quality [the ego quality that likes the fame & public acclaim re his status as PM ]
The story does not improve when other key indicators are considered.
There is no love lost between these two because they are ill at ease with the extreme differences they detect in each other, all capable of creating mutual significant distaste, frustration and dislike if placed in a forced political marriage. Caution is on one side with risk, unpredictability, spontaneity on the other. Though Bill may occasionally secretly wish he could be as loose independent, quick on his feet and unpredictable as Winston is.
These two will truly battle for control, a battle of wits.
If they choose to ignore all the obvious warning signs gleaned from years of personal observation of each other the likelihood of falling out will become even more apparent at close quarters.
Overall compatibility shockingly low ..even 2/10 may be optimistic

Let the games begin

Terror Erupts in Barcelona

noreply@blogger.com (Starfish) — Fri, 18 Aug 2017 03:41:00 +0000

The toll of fatalities plus injuries exceeds one hundred in the aftermath of terror-driven attacks in central Barcelona Spain, commencing around 4.50pm local time.

BBC coverage shows the route of the main attack, where a van driven at speed deliberately targeted pedestrians.
A violent and fatal explosion at a house 200kms south of Barcelona on Wednesday evening is believed to be been a related incident.
What is shown by astro-analysis is that as well as a known trigger for extreme behaviour being in effect: from 8am-5pm the time zone of Spain was affected by a solar generated geomagnetic enhancement caused by the particle wind from a solar coronal hole. Such strong increases in magnetic energy have been shown repeatedly to tip people over the edge, inciting to extreme behaviour.

This extra trigger is in addition to the waxing or building phase of the total solar eclipse due to reach exactitude on Monday 21st August.
This eclipse [New Moon] sun-moon conjunction in Leo and in connection with Uranus in Aries carries a signature of dramatic violence.
Leo is the sign related to solar or sun energy and so activity generated by the sun is extra-strengthened in the time frame of sun in Leo [2017 = July 23-Aug23] giving a dramatic quality to global news
The Sun also made an exact conjunction to the lunar north node late on August 16 [Universal time]
Sun to node conjunctions occur along with significant events with implications for the mass of humanity.
Events* in Spain in addition to the domestic terror attack in Charlottesville US [analysis here ] may fulfil the potentials inherent in this potent eclipse -or there still could be more on offer during eclipse week as Venus and Mars both move into positions that involve their energies in the mix with Uranus and the north node, respectively in the period August 24-28.

Terrorism is designed to generate terror. Most of us will continue to pursue our daily lives but care, precaution and alertness are often necessary habits to develop in those contexts and locations most vulnerable to such merciless acts.

*A second terrorist plot was foiled hours later at Cambrils beach resort not far from Barcelona

Charlottesville eclipse flashpoint for US & world

noreply@blogger.com (Starfish) — Sun, 13 Aug 2017 23:02:00 +0000

August 2017 is an eclipse month -two eclipses in a month known for drama on the world stage and in 2017 the drama is primarily coming out of America, with President Donald Trump the poster boy for the uncontrolled human emotions which are posing significant collective threat.

Great American Eclipse August 2017

via Express

Eclipse pairs occur close to every 6 months and their energetic impact extends often far longer. So what gets stirred up in the eclipse period has considerable significance.

In assessing the energy mix that is present the ingredients are examined - like looking at a cake recipe - what is put in and combined creates certain distinctive flavours, textures and certain outcomes.

August 2017 with eclipses on the 7th and 21st - and the latter one being the most potent -a total solar eclipse it is clear already to astronomers that the late August event has a visible pathway across mainland America.

The themes of both eclipses, the lunar and solar are repeating the same refrains: they involve the need to resolve major conflicts and to moderate extreme responses.

The implications of the solar eclipse pathway - to observers of esoteric significances - is that America will feature majorly in the themes activated in August 2017 - though the significance for humanity in general is implicit in the solar-lunar cycles that we are continually impacted by.
[ June 1918 was the last similar pathway but it was a whole different cake recipe -the eclipse with multiple factors in Gemini and mutable signs activated saw major train crash in Nashville; a mass poisoning in Chicago]

Drama is the outward expression typically seen when Leo energies are highlighted and reinforced - but the fundamental suffering feeding this disturbance is important to reflect upon.

While the predominant energies of Leo, Pisces and Libra in August can generate the responses of love, compassion, harmony and peace in many people there are powerful opposing impulses involving Pluto, Capricorn and Aries which will be intensely activated in the minds of others - to seek power at all costs, responding with hatred, cold cruelty and brutal repression. Leo at its worst is very ego-driven and will also latch onto a dictatorial urge expressed through Pluto. Leo also belongs to the tribal group of signs [ Leo, Scorpio, Taurus, Aquarius] for whom survivalist instincts are extremely strong.

We are not all created equal in our personalities or dispositions. Each of us operates from the frameworks and filters which serve as gateways and methods of comprehension in interpreting the world around us. Each of us sits somewhere along the spectra of response to every issue, every intellectual, every emotional stimulant.

This is why agreement can be so hard to reach beween people who sit at the extreme peripheries and how there is much more hope when people have closer mental/emotional alignment.

With nuclear devastation being risked in the ego battle between President Trump and North Korean President Kim Jong-Un these two men are clearly in the territory of conflict and finding restraint a challenge to their impulses.

Diplomacy seems lost in this era of American politics.

Robert E Lee statue

As August proceeded and the eclipse energies strengthened before the solar eclipse American home territory saw events which typify the themes in play: in Charlottesville Virginia on August 12 two very strongly opposing forces met at the Unite the Right Rally and mayhem erupted, emotions running high and physical violence spreading. Within this seething suffering one man decided to allow his impulses full reign. It is incredible than only one person died [albeit with multiple persons injured ] when he used his car as a killing machine into a crowd of anti-racism demonstrators gathered to challenge the extremist and heavily armed neo-Nazi and KKK allegiants there to protest the removal of a beloved Confederate statue of General Robert E Lee. The mood had darkened since the April 2017 proposal to remove the statue to calm racial tensions.

The opposing sides in the August rally were in some respects indistinguishable in their hatred and violence of each other according to an on-site New York Times reporter @SherylNYT

No matter what the cause being defended any white self-identified patriot American using the violent fear-inducing methods of fundamentalist terrorists is justifiably defined as a terrorist.

For all of us the pressure is building within to find the balance between impulse and restraint and to find out where we sit along the spectrum of compassion and aggression.

Dramatic Eclipses of August: Metiria Turei profile

noreply@blogger.com (Starfish) — Wed, 09 Aug 2017 00:15:00 +0000

update: August 9th: within hours of this post Metiria Turei resigned her position as co-leader. Although the event occurred faster than anticipated in this report, strong pressures have been in place for several weeks as indicated by planetary forces in effect. It remains that the late August eclipse will also be a time of challenge for her.

In mid July 2017 Green Party co-leader Metiria Turei opened the hornet’s nest of her personal past in a conscious political act revealed at the party's AGM intended to open the conversation about poverty in New Zealand, specifically how much of a poverty trap the country’s “welfare” system literally is.

Rejection of the messenger has come from a broad swathe of the media, from within her own party, from political adversaries and from the public at large –whilst also firming up support from those who’ve walked in those shoes.

Turei recognised the sacrificial element as a risk in taking this bold and arguably unprecedented step in NZ political discourse. Politicians are more known as masters of the dark arts of denial, deflection, ducking, deceit and the whole messy melange known as dirty politics.

Turei chose to turn that culture on its head and tell the country that over 20 years ago when raising a daughter alone she discovered what a financial struggle it was, leading her to obtain extra undeclared income from flatmates.

Failing to gauge the depth of public animosity towards those whose disabilities – physical, mental or psychological - mean they cannot be part of the mainstream system, Turei and her party had to lock in a firm defence of the essence of the argument: that poverty is an issue in NZ, that people cannot live with any dignity or any hope of escape while the welfare trap is sealed in so tightly by government policy of absolute minimal weekly maintenance for those who qualify for state support, coupled with minimal investment in assisting people to improve their capacity to move beyond that support.

So why did an apparently humanitarian gesture from an advocate of the social justice wing of the Greens go so terribly wrong, rejected by the minds of so many?

An Astrological Assessment

A partial view is offered by comparing the energy on the day Metiria was born in February 1970 with the energy in effect in the late July-August period in 2017.

Without a time and place of birth the standard full picture is unavailable in this process but when something big erupts - an earthquake, a plane crash, a meltdown, a crisis - there are multiple signifiers able to give some clues.

Firstly August itself is the drama month. The Sun has a more potent energy in the late July-late August period.

It’s not solar radiance/sunlight, it’s not visible, its an energy that promotes intense reactions and fundamentally drama on account of human responses to the strong energy – though for those who have the good side triggered its very warm and loving vibes.

August 2017 has two eclipses

Paired eclipses –solar and lunar happen at least twice a year. This year they are in the drama month and so the intensity is raised and when the Leo tribe [which includes Taurus, Scorpio and Aquarius -and Metiria has all four of these energies] is under attack the most basic survival instincts are aroused…fight to the end or the death

Eclipses that directly impact an individual will occur at or in very close proximity in actual position to one or more factors present at birth. These factors –primarily the positions held by planets – occur at specific degree points so it is readily obvious to see if there is any current influence that sends a tuning fork response back to the birth energy of a person.

The first eclipse of August was early on Tuesday the 8th at 15 Leo-Aquarius [ Leo Sun, Aquarius Moon making it a full moon lunar eclipse.

The Moon in Aries on the day of the Greens AGM [16 July] activated her Mars and her fighting spirit was triggered more intensely by this eclipse. This confirms that her ongoing anger/frustration at government social policy needed to be called to account. And that time arose.

Metiria was born with a warrior energy [Mars at 14 Aries] supplementing her renegade spirit intent on social justice [Sun in Aquarius] She has lived her life according to these prime motivators.

She has the benefit of a deep thinking, analytical and insightful mind [Pluto in Virgo blended with Mercury in Capricorn ]

She believes in friends, networks, communities and working together for shared social cohesion [Sun and Venus in Aquarius]

A compassionate philosophy underlies her thinking [ Neptune in Sagittarius ]

She is prepared to martyr herself or make great personal sacrifice for the larger benefit of the collective of humanity [ North lunar node in Pisces ]

Her fighting spirit kicks in when threats to personal survival arise [Mars in Aries, Moon in Taurus, Saturn in Taurus ]

Loose boundaries and bending the rules are also natural traits of those with strong Pisces and Aquarius energy and these qualities are always personal risk factors when such people have to be curtailed by any strict system or conditions – like a river bypassing a blockage or an animal confined to a yard.

The second eclipse – August 21st - is a total solar –involving a New Moon in Leo [spanning the whole US continent in its area of visible totality –so watch the drama building there as pathways of eclipses are very important]

This eclipse effectively at 29 Leo will activate all birth energies very strongly which are in the range 28 & 29 Leo and 0 Virgo.

Metiria was born with Venus and Mercury at 28 and 29 degree positions so both will be strongly triggered continually by the building eclipse which has the potency of change energy driving it all through August [Uranus at 28 Aries ]

By week’s end –Thurs-Fri 24-25 August when Venus reaches 28 degrees and with the lunar node at 24 Leo maintaining for a month its exact opposition to her birth Sun chances are high that listening to her heart, abandoning ego, putting family before public life could see Metiria let go of her co-leadership of the Green Party, the battle relinquished, the larger picture embraced.

Such an act would thoroughly complete the sacrificial element for the benefit of the larger good [ the influence of Neptune in transit conjunct her Pisces north node ]

With Mercury in Capricorn Metiria would definitely feel a sense of responsibility and an urge to do the right thing -offsetting the looser elements of her personality.

The question is whether Neptune can affect her to such a degree that she takes the personal out of the equation and trusts that her actions in precipitating the crisis, in the larger scheme of things may well have done her party and the Left the best favour ever - as well as raising the profile of a very humanitarian issue.

Sometimes to win you have to lose.

When Earth Gets Zapped

noreply@blogger.com (Starfish) — Mon, 29 May 2017 22:43:00 +0000

Electrical storms exploded in South-East England, Moscow Russia, northern France Monday May 29 in the wake of an event on the sun reaching earth's magnetic field.

The sun discharged a CME -coronal mass ejection -on May 23, easily enveloping our planet as the shockwave arrived on May 27 with strong magnetic connection to earth.
The impact seemed at first to be weak but then the geomagnetic readings showed a significant disturbance of the magnetic energies of our planet -most easily evidenced by much more widely visible auroras in the northern and southern latitudes.
Spaceweather.com reported on the effects in the US.
New Zealand and Australian skywatchers were also suitably impressed

@iangriffin tweeted a swag of glorious views from the dark skies near southern city of Dunedin NZ

and Dr Tamitha Skov @TamithaSkov has arguably one of the best aurora feeds on Twitter

Halo CME gave data for the shockwave on May 27..the vertical blue line at 14.43 UT showing multiple parameters jumping -and the critical Bz connectivity in the appropriate negative readings for strong magnetic connection to us.

All this electrical activity generated from the sun has flow on effects on earth -not just in pretty auroras which make the effects visible - but also in the violent electrical storms when lightning is discharging by striking earth or terrestrial objects/people -so it is no coincidence that violent electrical storms were recorded in locations where atmospheric conditions enabled the charged particles to have full expression.

It is also highly probable that the massive British Airways power outage is connected to this shockwave event -even though the loss of power -now identified more accurately as a power surge - was indicated at
The timing of this British Airways power surge event is too co-incidental to dismiss it as unrelated because the shockwave and the power surge have very similar energetic properties. It seems our detection devices are missing something.
A CME impacts earth immediately on the dayside -the locations on earth in day time at the time of the event and at the time of the magnetosphere being compressed.
Given the surprising strength of the magnetic storm, it is possible that strong magnetosphere compression on the morning of May 27 as a result of the incoming shockwave and preceding it - and before the shockwave was recorded - caused the power surge affecting British Airways operations based at Heathrow.

Strong solar generated effects on earth have been noted to coincide with transport crashes, outbreaks of violence, disturbed human and animal behaviours -as well as violent or extreme weather events. Background blog entries in recent years document some of these events

April 2017 - Extreme Forces in Many Contexts

noreply@blogger.com (Starfish) — Mon, 03 Apr 2017 04:43:00 +0000

Extreme forces predicted for April 2017 are manifesting with great frequency.

Updates confirm multiple extreme force events

Extreme Weather
Extreme forces that began to combine from as early as late February 2017 and began to manifest in March 2017 are sustained through April 2017 in diverse global locations.

One manifestion of the intense energy combinations is extreme weather with water proving to be a major destructive element.

Although environmental devastation from these forces is a well-documented outcome [events consistently coinciding with planetary indicators] - the outcomes are not limited to one level or one context of expression.

Relating

The intense forces prevailing in April 2017 have direct human-human consequences, impacting dynamics between people and their relationships.
The pressures require significant upgrades in the style and quality of people's conduct towards each other - or estrangement/separation/endings are the likely events facing them in April. In some situations a need for reality checking is required in order to rebalance a relationship
Loss of relationship due to external events will also occur for many.

Money
Money problems and losses, events affecting assets - events in April will impact the financial and material circumstances of many people globally.
For some people this may be due to a loss of their home from extreme weather or major damage with no insurance.
This is not a great month to do well financially, take financial risks or to start a business - and this is likely to be demonstrated in global market declines.

Extreme Forces - human generated
Extreme energies always have the capacity to manifest through human behaviour and activity. The potential for destructive outcomes as a result of human intention remains higher than normal during April.

confirmational updates from relevant global news:
diverse locations for effects of extreme weather already in effect include US reported April 3 and most fatally Colombia [mudslides after deluges] since March 31
April 3 Metro bombing in St Petersburg Russia multiple fatalities and injuries
April 4 Sarin gas suspected in mass exposure with dozens of fatalities and injuries inflicted in Syrian location Khan Shiekhun
April 5 extreme weather involving water and wind in New Zealand
April 6 extreme weather involving water, wind and associated landslips/mudslides continues to affect New Zealand -lower north and upper south islands

Several related news reports from US across the nation and one from India showing same intensity of weather

April 6 -extreme force in the form of a missile attack involving 59 cruise missiles launched on command of President Trump against Syrian military -in response to the April 4 Sarin gas attack in Syria by the Syrian regime
April 7 -extreme force by use of a speeding lorry deliberately crashed into a department store -deaths and injuries as people mowed down in Stockholm Sweden
April 9 multiple deaths in 2 blasts in Egypt on Palm Sunday
April 9 seismic stress is another example of extreme force -New Zealand is experiencing a fresh run of seismic unrest including in the vulnerable cook Strait region near the capitol, Wellington

April 10 - as anticipated, flow-on effects involving money/assets have already arisen from environmental damage. Markets & currencies are also in the firing line to trend downwards in April. Awaiting global trend as April 10 gradually opens but NZ currency has dropped to a 4 week low
April 13 stocks fell across Asia, Us dollar and Treasury bond yields slumped to lowest for 2017
April 13 US discharged a GBU-43/B Massive Ordinance Air Blast Bomb in Afghanistan against ISIS
April 15 tensions between US and North Korea reach a dangerous level

Background on Extreme Weather
rewinding to a post from Oct 2013..with 2017 updates -including more reference to significant planetary factors

OCT

Extreme Weather from the Galactic Centre

The GC -galactic centre -the rotational centre of the Milky Way galaxy - at 27 Sagittarius is an energy point of unimaginable potency

Significant events on earth expressing the power of natural forces can be seen to cluster in the time frame of a GC activation.

This includes major movements or quantities of fire, earth, air and water and can include floods, landslides, earthquakes, volcanic activity, tornadoes, typhoons, hurricanes, torrential rain, tsunami, wildfires, explosive events - as well as including events of this type perpetuated by human activity [ Hiroshima-Nagasaki 1944].

Typhoon Haiyan has slammed Philippines -an example of GC generated extreme forces
update Nov 8 2013

Observations [above] made October 21 2013 re the roles of Saturn in October [12 Scorpio] & the November Scorpio eclipse [11 Scorpio] in activating by semisquare the Galactic Centre position of 27 SAG

above are the most potent activators of Galactic Centre energies, stepped down into the environment of Earth, with 27 SAG as the actual position of the galactic centre and all points at 90 and 180 degrees of that being significant, as well as all positions midway = 12 degrees in all 4 fixed energy signs [Scorpio, Taurus, Leo, Aquarius] Any one occupied position has an equal capacity to trigger any or all others

The GC gets activated annually by the Sun around December 19
In 2013 only Mercury [Jan 17] and Venus [November 2] make the same exact conjunction to 27 SAG. But these alone do not give rise to major activations.
My energy analysis method always includes the GC activations by the remaining signs of the mutable quartet - PISCES VIRGO GEMINI as well as the semi & sesqui squares = 12 degree position of any of the fixed signs SCORPIO TAURUS LEO AQUARIUS.

When the 27 MUTABLE or 12 FIXED sign positions feature in a New, Full Moon or Eclipse the likelihood of extreme forces arising to a significant extent in diverse earth locations is worth considering

Milky Way Galactic Centre

It so happens from late 2013 into 2014 there is a run on these relevant factors with strong activations of the GC energy delivered by:

September full moon 27 PISCES
October lunar eclipse SATURN at 12 SCORPIO
November solar eclipse at 11 SCORPIO being midpoint of MERC-NODES-SAT
December full moon at 25 GEMINI
January new moon 11 AQUARIUS
March full moon 26 VIRGO

Exact positions at 27 or 12 are strongest but + or - 2 degrees is well within range of effect - giving a range 25-29 Mutable and 10-14 Fixed to consider.

Full and New Moons begin to be effective days before exactitude and until the following new or full state.

Eclipses belong to a six-monthly cycle so the effects can spread ahead that far - as well as being pre-triggered -one of the qualities of space-time that defies the limited linear logic of manufactured earth-time.

The period September 2013 - May 2014
is likely to be notable for many more extreme weather events and major environmental events which reveal the potency of the forces of nature.

The role of the paired transformers Pluto & Uranus locked at a 90 degree angle is undeniable in accentuating or aggravating the situation.

These two energies are very representative of Galactic Centre forces so their current activation provides a double-whammy effect whenever our solar system is zapped by a blast from the GC

A torus of super-heated dust surrounding the galactic centre black Hole -artist's conception

Updates
Prior historical example:
CYCLONE Yasi formed January 26 2011.
Dissipated Feb 3 2011
GC activation came via URANUS in conjunction with JUPITER = both at 27 Pisces on January 4 2011. The process was set in motion weeks before the cyclone formed.
[ 27 Pisces is at exact 90 degrees to the GC & therefore a very strong trigger - made stronger by the combined mega force of Jupiter blended with Uranus the force of change.]

The etymology of the word typhoon is of interest in terms of the most likely link back to Greek mythology
TYPHOEUS aka TYPHON was a monstrous immortal storm-giant...so huge his head was said to brush the stars..
He appeared man-shaped down to the thighs, with two coiled vipers in place of legs. Attached to his hands in place of fingers were a hundred serpent heads, fifty per hand. He was winged, with dirty matted hair and beard, pointed ears, and eyes flashing fire. According to some he had two hundred hands each with fifty serpents for fingers and a hundred heads, one in human form with the rest being heads of bulls, boars, serpents, lions and leopards. As a volcano-daimon, Typhoeus hurled red-hot rocks at the sky and storms of fire boiled from his mouth.

This amount of sustained output has not been seen for some time & has a relationship to extreme weather and natural events on earth including large quakes.

Solar activity remains high with two weeks of sustained M flares & the occasional X flare - while according to standard observations, no geomagnetic effects at storm level as a result of all the CME's sent from the sun up till Nov 12

M-flares abundant. X flare on Nov 8

December 2013
Around Dec 8
Heavy snowfall across Northern Hemisphere & in unusual places -Egypt, Hawaii, Middle East -all due to a jet stream snaking much further southwards in a meridional pattern rather than zonal

The Full Moon at 25 SAG-GEM was within range of the GC & thus geoeffective in the time frame of a lunar month into January
The Sun reached the Galactic Centre point late on Dec 18 UT at 27 SAG and Mercury too on Dec 22 - allowing for a conjoined activation of the GC forces in the period around Dec 20-22
The important seasonal markers at zero Cardinal [Capricorn-Cancer, Aries-Libra] are also likely to be caught up in the timing of GC activations since 27 SAG is just 3 degrees from 0 Capricorn and the whole spectrum is activated at all other seasonal markers in March, June, September as well as in December
December 2013 is particularly worth observing for the added complexity of the Sun-Pluto-Mercury-Mars-Uranus synergistic activation from even as early as Dec 29 then strengthening in days to New Years Eve, January 1 & 2 2014
Natural forces [i.e. expressed as weather] & biological behaviour -human & other species vulnerable [with variation dependent on individual susceptibility] to disturbed, volatile & stress effects which will be evident in a range of news reports
From Weather Action :

Dec 21

Piers Corbyn from Weather Action says the North Atlantic jet stream reached a record 275 mph on Dec 22 2013 -consistent with the long range prediction of wild jet stream events in the shift to a Mini Ice Age circulation pattern.
Corbyn's methodology is centred around solar activity which impacts Earth.
His analysis also targets the end of Dec 2013 & into January 2014:
"Newly erupting active sunspot regions are coming round to be Earth-facing (below) when we predicted and will drive dangerous weather conditions around end Dec and start Jan in USA, Brit+Ire, Europe and the whole world."
"This 'Mini-Ice-Age increase in wild and extreme events will continue for the next 20 years"
Dec 22 UT In my locale the weather has undergone a sudden change from an unusually warm start of summer to cooler temps due to squally gusts of wind

2014 updates
Extreme flooding UK -January torrential
Massive landslide Washington State - March disaster in Oso
M8.2 quake Chile big offshore event was fortunately low in fatalities

2017 updates
MARCH
With the Galactic Center 27 SAG being activated by exact alignment from transiting Saturn at 27 Sagittarius, beginning effectiveness from start of March 2017 intense outcomes anticipated soon began to be evident.

One planet alone is usually not significant enough to bring the worst extremes. [severe quakes, colossal tsunamis]

In March 2017 Saturn at 27 degrees links with any other activating factors at 27 and 12 degrees.
The Sun and Neptune match these positions during March: Neptune [water indicator] for most of the month and the Sun at/in range of 12 degrees from March 2-4.
From March 6 [UT] Mars at 27 Aries energises Saturn at 27 Sagittarius - extending over several days

The probabilities for heavy rain with flooding and destructive conditions creating losses and obstructions will also be very high in this time frame.
Just as March began [3rd] an indicator of extremes was in place -the exact opposition of Jupiter and Uranus. This opposition has an effective time frame of just over 2 weeks [until at least March 19] in which to keep generating more systems. This energy combination generates unbalanced energies and would have contributed significantly to extreme atmospheric conditions and the creation of disturbed, destructive weather systems.
The Sun reaching 21-23 degees in the March 11-March 13 period synergises with this potent energy.
Then importantly 17-20th March when firstly the Sun is at 27 degrees, soon joined by the Moon on the 20th of March.

Regions of New Zealand's North Island beginning 7 March experienced extreme flooding followed by forceful winds -with conditions enduring several days after a brief lull between systems.

Other global locations showed related effects in this time period -as reported March 9 - India, Pakistan, Atlanta US...

March 14 saw the start of extreme rain, flooding and mudslides in Peru. This follows an intense period of extreme weather since early in 2017

By 28 March 2017 Queensland Australia was subject to Cyclone Debbie. The initial effects were followed by extreme widespread flooding affecting an even larger landscape than initially affected -even by April 2 more flooding was anticipated

Saturn on GC
With Saturn's transiting position in Sagittarius remaining within the 27-28 degree range throughout April and still within the 26-27 degree range for most of May 2017 it is anticipated that activation of Galactic Centre [GC] energies is creating exactly the turbulent forces that generate extreme weather. The higher potential for this looks to be increased in April 2017 with Neptune [the water indicator] also highly activated [Uranus+Sun transits through Aries]
The 3rd factor [and there is always more than one] is thatimbalance underlies the generation of these extreme forces. Energy related to extreme unbalanced forces was generated at the end of March [Pluto+Jupiter] and the triggers spawned at that time were given the force to unfold in days ahead...ready to merge increasingly from April 4 with Saturn barely moving from its transiting position, intensifying through the first week of April to lead into the developing Saturn-Venus energy at 28 Sagittarius and the Sun-Jupiter-Pluto energies combining from April 7.
Extreme forces remain locked in for a lengthy period, with many different manifestations - weather or environmentally related as well as human induced - with a likely time frame from April 7-19 2017
So this is a big package of extreme and destructive forces which will be manifested in many global locations

2017 outlook - karma effect on relating and money

noreply@blogger.com (Starfish) — Sun, 19 Mar 2017 23:44:00 +0000

Saturn is one of the main astrological energies that indicate the involvement of significant karma in certain aspects of life. Your personal astrological profile will specify the focal issues.
When Saturn has its annual retrograde period the area of karma that needs resolution will be under the spotlight for several months.
For many people 2017 will be a continuation of 2016 with very similar issues needing attention.
Karma is not a quick fix it seems - the misuse of energy in the past, especially if perpetrated over many prior lifetimes - is due to fixed mental patterns that resist change.
Karma and Saturn are always fundamentally about right action, right speech, right thoughts - basically behaving properly in every context, being a responsible person in your own self management and behaving responsibly towards others.
But these qualities are usually undeveloped due to adverse conditions such as inadequate or dysfunctional parenting, poor role models, or lack of education and guidance.
Without these support systems we are all vulnerable to being uncivilised brutish and selfish people until Life begins to teach us otherwise -through gentle support or through harsh lessons.
When the energy of Saturn is configured with another planetary energy in a stressful mixture [this happened in 2016 and repeats in 2017] the flavour of this combination has an extended period of influence.

In 2017 it is again Saturn in conflict with the energy of Venus.
Look back to April-Sept 2016 to get a big clue as to the issues that are likely to arise again.
Venus is the energy of both money, assets, finance, possessions and the energy of relationships.

Past misuse of energy in these 2 areas of life are likely to be revisited because even more effort is needed to modify instinctual behaviours, responses, reactions when handling money, assets, finance, possessions and when relating in every context - to self, to partners, to children, to others where you have more power than them and to others in general.
If energy has been previously misused the antidote has to be to change behaviour and act responsibly, with restraint, self discipline, balance, fairness.
In effect this is a maturing process, reining in loose or abusive behaviour regarding interactions with others and in the management of money or assets.
Focus, commitment and hard work are usually involved to change the quality of an area of life needing karmic re-balancing.

The key time frame in 2017 is from the start of April to the end of August [ specifically April 6-August 25 ]
but the energy this year is strong enough to generate an early warning: the period March 17-19 had a Saturn-Sun combination forewarning of the themes arising.
2016 and 2017 continue to see Saturn in the mutable sign Sagittarius so all born under this sign and its mutable group [Pisces, Virgo, Gemini] will experience more Saturn effects than usual sometime in the approximately 3 year period of effect.
This highlights the need to change MENTAL patterns in order to change behaviour.
When mixed with Venus, aspects of survival and relating are the specific mental patterns that need to change.
With Saturn in Sagittarius and Venus in Pisces there is a conflict between freedom and addiction.
Excessive behaviours have to be curtailed regarding money or personal interactions.
If restraint is not applied or irresponsible behaviour not terminated various consequences can arise -relevant to personal contexts eg legal problems will arise due to fraud or theft or health problems [liver] due to excess alcohol or drugs; loss of freedom due to crime involving money or drugs; feeling restricted in immersive relationships.
The good news is:

If you achieve the karmic growth in the focal areas of money management and relating to others you will emerge stronger in April

Astrology for Babies: getting to know this little mystery

noreply@blogger.com (Starfish) — Fri, 10 Mar 2017 07:59:00 +0000

You've just given birth to this new citizen, this new life created by two people, cocooned until this most significant birth day.

You expect the baby will share physical characteristics with one or both parents and similar personality traits with one or more blood relatives are also assumed to become obvious over time - but even in those early weeks of wondering about this little person, this little mystery, a lot can already be known

Modern-day record-keeping provides the first vital ingredient: the time of birth. This, in combination with the place and date gives the co-ordinates for constructing the baby's birth map - a plan of the cosmic sky above that location - showing where the significant indicators were - starting with the positions of the Sun and Moon, then adding in as many other features of our own solar system as preferred by the astrologer, to gain a picture of what type of personality, energy, body type, disposition, interests etc are likely to be characteristic of the child.

Enduring, life-long traits can also be identified.

Knowing what comes naturally to a child before they themselves can vocalise and communicate allows for the provision of a supportive environment, customised for each child, in recognition of their individual needs and personal ways of self expression.

Identifying strengths and talents as well as areas of challenge or needing support are also facilitated by the analysis done in an astrological report.

Physical weaknesses, sensitivities, digestive issues can also be identified, assisting parents before choices are made regarding feeding.

Prince George at one day old

My blog post on Royal Babies George and Charlotte

- from the Written in the Stars 2013 archive with a 2015 update added for Princess Charlotte - is provided as an example of the sort of things that can be uncovered as soon as a birth time is known.

Feedback:

Feedback given at 6 weeks for baby chart done soon after birth

Does sound spot on in some ways already. with the loving water, he was born in the water and is very calm in the bath. And the food allergies too, I have had to cut dairy out as that was making him sick. A lot of it sounds like his dad who was born on the .... lots of things to look forward to and keep in mind so thanks for doing this for me, I find it all very interesting as does [husband]

and then an update when baby was 12 months old:

I have found the chart very interesting, he really does love the water, with his first swim in the pool he was in his happy place and kicking his legs like a swimmer does. Dairy gives him a bit of an upset stomach so have had to avoid it for the most part, you also mention something about being social - which he definitely is, always happy to crawl up to strangers and sit on their laps for a chat, and always smiling and waving at people as we go for walks.
I'm sure there will be more sides of his personality to develop in the coming years, hopefully I can be prepared with the help of the chart you did!

Feedback re baby "S"

S.... is now 8 months old, and I have recently reflected back on the analysis I received. I was happily surprised to learn that the details I read about her personality are soo accurate. I also thoroughly enjoyed reading the small tips on how to deal with some of the small hiccups we may encounter along the way, as she gets older.

How does astrology work?

Quantum physics has established that everything is energy and that beneath the visual world that we perceive exists the sub-atomic realm of totally interconnected fields of waves and patterns. In the everyday world, the Moon provides us with the simplest demonstration of a force operating at a large distance -by working in tandem with the Sun these forces interact with Earth to create tidal pull that affects not only water but also the atmosphere, winds, weather.

The Sun is the driver of the solar system and it is in feedback with everything in that system. Observations over millennia have recorded not only solar and lunar activity but also correspondences between events on Earth and the positioning of particular planetary forces.

These observations evolved into a language identifying the characteristics of planetary forces - decoding the energy expressions commonly found with the distinct wave patterns generated by each of these forces. Being a complex dynamic system creates different energy patterns depending upon the interface that is made between one planet and any other/others.

By understanding the way the interactions occur, astrologers can identify the positive, easy flowing patterns and those that are difficult or very challenging.

If we could all see energy waves, patterns and harmonics we would have no doubt about our connection to everything...irrespective of distance.

The Shifting Sands of Identity, Gender & Sexuality

under a PISCES SOLAR ECLIPSE

FEBRUARY 2017

We are constantly embedded in a complex mix of energies and how those energies impact us or motivate our thoughts, feelings and expressions is dependent too on a complex mix of energies -where we are located, the context or environment in which we find ourselves, the time that the energies are in effect, who we inherently are - what aspects of us can be aroused....

So the available energy at any time - existent and embedded in us - is capable of wearing many different -but related - faces or morphing into variant forms - depending upon the type of and degree of resonance with each individual

Selecting universal themes from the signature of any significant energy event -like an eclipse - involves selecting from a range of related possibilities/probabilities which are consistent with contemporary themes impacting humanity.

In 2017 there is again in the world a widening divide at the same time as a merging together -conflicting and contradictory forces which are creating deep divisions in communities, within nations and in global politics.

Many can detect elements of prior extreme historical periods when brutal and repressive forces led in the worst cases to the outright slaughter of great numbers of people who were depicted as deficient, defective, threatening, impure, unholy - attitudes that are based not in a rational mind but stem from a far more instinctual panic residing in the ancient part of the human brain.

2017 is occurring at a time of expanded social awareness where one sector of humanity is predisposed towards inclusion and so this is some protection against a potential outright contagion of instinctual panic and a return to widespread repression of our species' progression towards greater expression of true humanity.

Sometimes it feels like there is not just one human species but two - at war - with completely different consciousness - and in truth this consciousness difference is real because without love, compassion and inclusion and without embracing an expanded view of human potentials and variations our humanness remains very primitive.

The Pisces solar eclipse of late February 2017 sees compassionate energies from the sun and moon merging in conjunction = a new beginning, elevating for many their capacity to feel empathy and support for others, wanting to help and understand those who are suffering, mistreated, excluded.

Mercury and Neptune also in Pisces at the time of the eclipse add further emphasis to this refining influence..enabling many to resolve to "become a better person".

Along with this surge comes a big dose of "confidence to be different" - from the Mars and Uranus combination in Aries - and with Jupiter in Libra linked in - social confidence, joy and pleasure have certainly been delivered to many by this eclipse.

Many will feel predisposed to assert who they truly are

With a 6 month effective process an eclipse is usually a life-changing influence

A very appropriate example of the eclipse effect was on display in Auckland on Feb 25 - the pride parade celebrating gender diversity.

A colourful and high energy community event supported by thousands of observers, this LGBTI event typifies the spirit of inclusion, diversity, fun, - essentially with the message that being different is actually the underlying human condition - we are all essentially "different" -though for many that difference has been repressed in so many contexts.

ln fact the age of labels must surely be close to ending within this context of the fluidity of identity and of gender and sexual preference being so much spoken of -and when young children are independently self asserting their preferences we truly are living in a new age of expanded social dynamics.

The essential message of this eclipse was earlier posted as follows:

The best of February 2017

could be discovered in the context of the Pisces solar eclipse energies of the 26th.
After the Fire comes a lot of Deep Water.

An outpouring of compassion or a sense of one-ness and connectedness is possible in mass gatherings that address the fundamental relating issues facing humanity.
On a personal level the same opportunities are on offer:

How can we co-exist in a better, more harmonious, compassionate way?

How can I access my strength, bravery and confidence in order to enhance my enjoyment of others in social interactions?

A nation that feels inherently secure does not need to banish broad swathes of humanity but until the end of 2017 a pronounced fear of the foreign has more opportunity to take root where that fear is encouraged.

On an elemental level -torrents of water are the likely outcome in many global locations

Astrology - Millennial and Baby Boomer Generations

noreply@blogger.com (Starfish) — Mon, 13 Feb 2017 21:37:00 +0000

Having failed to find clear defining dates for identifying Generation Y, the Millennial Group, social research exposes a clear knowledge gap: the lack of appreciation of energy cycles. These are what identify the traits of any identified generation

The strongest prevailing energy within the loosely defined 1980's-1990's period for Millennial group births is the passage of Pluto through Scorpio from November 1983-November 1995.

To understand the traits described as identifying Millennials and how they could relate to the qualities derived from a planet in a particular zodiac sign requires some acceptance that everything is energy, that energy has qualities, that energy has cyclic patterns. Every change of experience is the result of perceiving a different "feel" in the energy. We are energy, embedded in energy and that energy is literally on a universal scale, inescapable. It's the fabric of our existence.

When you're born as a separate being your operating system [mind] is imprinted with the prevailing energies at that time, the pattern and qualities of which are presented visually as an astrological birth chart showing where the Sun Moon planets were located and what connections or synergies were happening amongst those forces.

Millennial traits identify significant generational aspects of personality - but not the full personality because human complexity allows for contradiction and modulating factors as well as individuality. So it's not like a generation produces a breed of clone-minds but instead more like some very similar DNA.

4 often-identified aspects of the millennial personality

involve how they relate to others, how they relate to themselves, how they deal with materialism & money.

These areas comprise the Survival Skills of Millennials

1. oriented to networking, teamwork & friendships
2. entitlement and narcissism - Me Me Me
3. big spenders especially in technology & experiential costs
4. re-inventing sexual behaviour - different sexual expectations, styles and for some less interest entirely

The astrological correspondences are strong when the impact of Pluto in Scorpio is full examined.
Scorpio belongs to the fixed energy group: Scorpio, Taurus, Leo, Aquarius.
The holistic multi-dimensional nature of energy [its quantum aspect] means that no single energy exists: all energy is multi-faceted -at the very least quadrupolar, consisting of 4 poles operating magnetically.
This aspect of physics applied very readily to the grouping of astrological energies into sets of four.
This means that irrespective of which single sign is involved in a planetary transit - as in Pluto in Scorpio -that all four are activated
This is the same with any individual born under a Sun sign - so all Scorpios will also have traits of Leo, Taurus and Aquarius, all Sagittarians will also have Gemini, pisces and Virgo traits, all Capricorns will display Cancer, Libra and Aries traits - whichever of the 3 energy groups you belong to means you are very linked in expression to the other 3 members of your group.

When Pluto was in Scorpio in the time frame November 1983-November 1995 the effect of Pluto's transiting energy was to radically transform the significant expressions, attitudes and experiences of all those born then.
The specific aspects of transformation fit strongly with the energies of the Scorpio-Taurus-Leo-Aquarius grouping, where each has a distinctive style but all are DNA programmed towards Survivalism.
In the Millennial mind

Scorpio's domains are power, uses of power, power abuse, sex, domination, the metaphysical
Taurus is about physical survival - what things or conditions of life are considered essential
Leo is the Ego, the root of narcissism and entitlement, the born-to-rule-and-be-attended-to philosophy
Aquarius is the love of technology, networking, friendships, teamwork

The last time Pluto activated all 4 of these energies was in fact the Baby Boomer era - when Pluto transited Leo. Again social researchers cannot find agreement but June 1939-June 1958 [ with some months excepted] was the period when Pluto was in Leo.
So this period also saw Leo, Aquarius , Taurus and Scorpio strongly activated for this generational sector, many of whom have parented the Pluto in Scorpio millennials - but the expressions were not so extreme.
In the baby boomer generation the 4 expressions were all explored but with different emphasis.
Yes the baby boomers were into sexual indulgence [ Scorpio ] materialism and money [ Taurus ] changing society [Aquarius ] and very creative forms of self expression [Leo ] - overall more self satisfying intentions although many movements for social change were inherited by those born at the later stage or perpetuated by those born earliest in this generation- and it seems all these drives motivating the baby boomers have been modified and customised to fit a vastly different global mood. The visions of hope and prosperity held by baby boomers have been overwhelmed in the millennial mind with angst, anxiety, insecurity, hopelessness - the knowing too much [information] that has not been soothed by the building of inner resilience.
Both generations were born with survivalist instincts but baby boomers did not have to face unconquerable challenges.
The survival threat has gone up several notches.

2017 Astrology - February Fire & Water

noreply@blogger.com (Starfish) — Tue, 31 Jan 2017 05:44:00 +0000

February 2017 will deliver some fiery energy in multiple forms -the natural fire element is very emphasised, along with high-combustibility which also signifies explosive energy

Latest: Feb 20 as forecast in this report...deluge aspect has also been evident many global locations especially those that have been or normally bone dry -including California

Feb 16-

uncontrolled fires in Christchurch merge into one by day 4
Even Trump is engulfed in smoke and a pending firestorm
"catastrophic" wildfire conditions have been reported in Australia
extreme heat in eastern Australia and widespread flooding in Western Australia are examples of the 2 key elements fire and water being exaggerated under the complex pattern of this eclipse.
Feb 12 Seismic unrest has been elevated in New Zealand
as fire eclipse approaches Feb 9 gas explosion on cruise ship

All species respond to this energy climate so animals as well as humans are susceptible in Feb 2017 to higher levels of aggression. In humans this can range from more than usual irritability right through to outright rage. You will be somewhere on that spectrum but more so if you are unable to burn up the extra adrenal/hormonal flood: exercise, adventure and risk taking activities are more appealing now -but another prevailing effect is ready to deliver difficulties if the exuberance goes to excess.

This amount of adversarial, potentially argumentative energy is also best used in controlled competitive environments like sport -but again with self control.

The Saturday 11th eclipse in Leo adds more fire to the already present Aries and Sagittarius energies. Police, Fire Services and Ambulances will get a lot of activity in February: fights, accidents, car crashes, stabbings, shootings, fire/arson/explosions all more prevalent than usual.

Making things worse is a political climate veering rapidly across the globe towards repressive policies which are anti-humanitarian. The political brutality generated with Pluto's passage of Capricorn is amplified in February by connection to the nodal points that feed back to the Sun and Moon.

The end of January 2017 global protests against US President Donald Trump's policies look set to expand and endure even into March.

Trump's megalomania is being given strong stimulus by 4 eclipses in 2017, starting in February

The best of February 2017

could be discovered in the context of the Pisces solar eclipse energies of the 26th.
After the Fire comes a lot of Deep Water.

How can we co-exist in a better, more harmonious, compassionate way?

How can I access my strength, bravery and confidence in order to enhance my enjoyment of others in social interactions?

On an elemental level -torrents of water are the likely outcome in many global locations - eg in the US- the Lake Oroville dam posed a threat in mid February

Trump Travel Ban & What's to Come - Written in the Stars

America has erupted in a state of protest after recently inaugurated President Donald Trump wasted no time in delivering executive orders reflecting his campaign promises.

Full text of the executive order "Muslim ban"

BBC report

Trump has focussed primarily on foreign nationals he believes are a threat to US security and wellbeing and foreign trade agreements that he thinks are detrimental to US economic interests.

The foreign aspect in astrology refers to the energy of Sagittarius.

Since late 2014 the restrictive energies of planet Saturn have blended with the normally expansive energies of Sagittarius* and all expressions that carry Sagittarian themes.

In total the Saturn in Sagittarius effect will endure for another year - making it a full 3 year experience before Saturn connects with its home base: in Capricorn.

While Saturn has been in Sagittarius the free flow of mass migration out of war-torn or economically deprived countries has been significantly curtailed. Many European nations experienced such significant numbers of new migrants/refugees that services failed to cope and public compassion flipped into distress, discomfort, fear. Policies of openness were reversed. Fences erected. Refugees detained.

Significant political crises erupted in Europe, Britain and Australia around the management of mass numbers of people wanting to escape their conditions of life and find prosperity, peace, safety in another land.

Since the US Presidential electoral campaign during 2016 America and the world has been put on notice that Donald Trump would carry through policies highly consistent with the restrictive energies of Saturn impacting on the Sagittarian aspects of life, specifically the foreign and the foreigner.

Trump has opted for the Wild West management style, the "shoot first, ask questions later" approach - by targeting people of a religious faith en masse - not just those posing the most significant threats.

When Trump issued his executive order in January 2017 on the 27th of the month, just hours before the New Moon that evening in Washington, Saturn was at 24 degrees Sagittarius. This energy linked strongly to the transiting position of Venus at 24 degrees in Pisces - reflecting the detrimental impact on relationships based on love, compassion, spiritual connection.

The travel ban has separated and will continue to separate people from their loved ones.

The intensity of this enforced restriction is emphasised by the New Moon = Sun and Moon combined at 8 Aquarius being in tight connection to Saturn [45 degree semisquare]

Chiron-Venus-Mars all in Pisces cover a range from 22-30 degrees, with their energies converging at 26 Pisces - so many soft, loving and sensitive energies [Pisces] placed under the harsh duress of restriction and separation [Saturn] created by officialdom's law [Saturn in Sagittarius] and channeled through a man now drunk with power:

Trump's birth chart has exactly the same main axis points -AC-DC at 29 Leo-Aquarius and MC-IC at 24 Taurus-Scorpio as the January New Moon.
In addition his birth time time featured a Gemini-Sagittarius Full Moon and a Saturn-Venus conjunction -all comprising ingredients that are reflected in the January New Moon energies. Trump definitely sees himself as Big Daddy [Saturn in Cancer] -not only in his family but also now to a whole nation. But his protective/protectionist psychology has a dark side, an "us and them" with Saturn working against the Moon [by quincunx] placing significant limitations on his openness and capacity to care for those who feel "foreign " to him.

This places great limitations on his role as leader of the most powerful Western nation because fundamentally, even aside from the outright loose cannon tendencies, eccentricities and bloodymindedness [courtesy of Uranus] and the pronounced narcissistic traits delivered by Mars in Leo on the Ascendant, Trump is psychologically deficient on the level of moral and compassionate humanity to fulfil the essentially balanced leadership role required at the Presidential level in America.

The consequences of having Trump in power in America are horrendous on a global scale given that the two eclipses of February 2017 will embolden his drive for power -[Mars in Leo activated by Feb 11 lunar eclipse and Pluto in Leo activated by Feb 26 Solar Eclipse.] But the planets keep delivering: even the 2017 August eclipses are set to amplify Trump's megalomania.

With eclipses delivering a minimum 6 month period of effect, it is likely that Trump will experience an extended period of intoxication with his extreme capacity to get exactly what he wants, how he wants. This is truly a global warning.
There is though a significant spanner in the works which has the capacity to somewhat frustrate the Trumpinator.
Born in the late building phase of an exact Full Moon eclipse his Moon is 21 Sagittarius and Sun 23 Gemini. Planet Saturn which was in close connection to Trump's birth eclipse [giving him a Tough Daddy persona - is currently in range of both his Sun and Moon again, and now in Sagittarius is a signifier of political and executive authority and in SAG, political legal authority the administration of which has been emotionally comforting for Trump even before his inauguration. Saturn opposed his Sun at his inauguration where he was stamped with the requisite Saturnian hallmarks of authority and status. But the Saturn effect opposite his birth Sun position creates less vitality, more opposition [first seen as inauguration protests] and the next time to watch will be late June-mid July and middle weeks of October when more opposing forces seek to counter the wilful President and his Divine Right of Kings mindset. With his inherent killer instinct aroused when crossed and the numbers of citizens holding him in contempt, drama on a medieval scale is waiting offstage.

Below are the midpoints of energy in Trump's chart. When Pluto in Sept-Oct 2017 retrogrades over the last minutes of 16 Capricorn many over-the-top personality traits [birth energies at or synergising in the range 15-17 in Cancer and Libra will most likely be in full abusive outburst [a lot will occur in the context of family members and home environment ] and the alternate outcome of a profoundly transformational atonement is extremely remote. The chances of Trump attracting a resonant extreme and destructive energy also remain high in this period

A New moon is effective during the lunar month until the next one and begins its effects up to three days before exactitude.

A Kardashian Jenner astrological tree

noreply@blogger.com (Starfish) — Wed, 28 Dec 2016 05:30:00 +0000

Astrological family trees

are more likely than not

to show patterns of energy

When full birth data is known a much more confirmational array of repeat energies or energy themes is clearly visible.

Kim Kardashian

The Kardashian and Jenner extended families have achieved a globally high profile on account of their extended reality TV self-exposure.

When such a successful dynasty exists, astrological analysis, even at it's most basic, gives an insight into the family themes.

Looking at key family members -as well as their significant others - interesting themes are evident

SUN SIGN SCORPIO
Scorpio is "survival at all costs" energy, making Scorpios tough, determined battlers and sometimes lethal in pursuing their instincts -whether that is through money, power, people, possessions
Courtesy of family matriarch Kris, her "out-in-the-world" energy did not surface in her Kardashian children's Sun signs, but in 1991 she chose to match up with fellow Scorpio Bruce* [original name of Caitlyn] Jenner.
From this union of 2 Scorpios came 2 daughters -and one - Kendall - is also a Scorpio
Scorpio also emerged in the entrance of Lamar Odom into the family - as husband of Khloe Kardashian

SUN SIGN PISCES
Pisces is the least "out-in-the-world' energy..it is the energy of seclusion and retreat -privacy is the preferred style of life
Robert Kardashian Senior brought the soft, sensitive Pisces energy into the family.
It expressed directly through his son Rob's Sun sign.
Pisces is one of the most difficult energies for men to own...it needs to be expressed through faith or spirituality, through sensitivity and compassion - but usually it is too hard for men to be this soft, so it is channeled into drug or alcohol abuse.
Robert's daughter Kourtney got Pisces as her Ascendant or sign that was rising at her birth time [modifying factors though make her tougher than Kim]
From Robert, daughter Kim got a Pisces Moon - for a woman, Pisces is much more traditionally acceptable. Kim has very sensitive emotional disposition.
Khloe was born with no astrological factors in Pisces but her potential to become more sensitive has been triggered since 2010 and even more so since 2011 with Pisces planet - Neptune - softening her in a very personal way.

CARDINAL SUN Signs
The group of 4 signs Aries Libra Cancer Capricorn are described as Cardinal - they actively express energy through ways of relating.
Aries energy demands a strong relationship with the Self, more independence
Libra energy is primed for partnership but has to guard against to much dependence = the scales can become unbalanced
Cancer energy is the homely family style of relating, including nurturing and parenting others in a female style
Capricorn is the way of relating to society in roles as a senior manager, mentor = in loco parentis - in the style of a supportive or guiding fatherly figure
Cardinal Signs feature strongly in the Kardashian energy through the union of Robert and Kris.
Robert had Capricorn rising at his birth and Libra in the highest position of the sky overhead = midheaven
Kris has her emotions [Moon] expressed through Cancer -extending her role as mother into a management business. She also has 3 planets in Libra
Kim is Sun Sign Libra
Khloe has Sun sign Cancer plus Mercury and Venus in that sign.
Kourtney has 3 planets in Aries including Mercury, Mars and Sun. Moon is in Capricorn. Pluto in Libra
Rob's most relevant cardinal sign element is Moon in Libra
Kendall -has multiple significant factors in cardinal signs
Kylie - has multiple significant factors in cardinal signs
Caitlyn - has a significant life path indicator axis in Aries-Libra - with the direction in this life pointing to self-development, not partnership

All this relating energy signifies that as a result of parental energies and shared lessons in this life, the original Kardashian family - and the offspring of the Jenner union - will all spend a huge amount of their learning time on this planet trying to get to grips with who they are as an individual, and how to operate in all types of relating. This is a strong and undeniable family theme -genetically carried, astrologically visible and karmically entangled.

Fixed Signs
The fixed signs have a significant role for these conjoined families.
Taurus Scorpio Leo and Aquarius are in this group of survivalist signs - each choosing their own distinctive style of survival.
3 signs stand out as relevant in this extended family tree:
Scorpio Leo Aquarius
Scorpio has been dealt with earlier.
The Leo style of survival is through receiving love, attention, adoration and by acts of creation = a symbolic immortality - through offspring - or creative works - which also gain attention or fame
Aquarius style survival is by creating networks -like-minded people all connected - whether remotely or anonymously is not important - but the focus usually begins with everyday world friendships, group involvements - building a sense of humanity and social structure through shared interests, common goals
Robert had Moon in Aquarius
Kris - multiple planets in Scorpio and Leo
Rob - Aquarius as rising sign
Bruce/Caitlyn - Scorpio Sun, Aquarius Moon, Leo as the midheaven sign
Kim -Mercury [type of thoughts] in Scorpio
Khloe - Mars and Saturn in Scorpio [affects attractions to men]
Kourtney - no significant factors in fixed signs
Kendall - Scorpio Sun
Kylie - Sun Leo, Moon Scorpio.

Energy Shifts
The bloodlines, energies karma all undergo change with children born from partners outside of the original Robert-Kris union
Through Kim:
Kim's love, partner and attraction energies run from Taurus through Gemini and Cancer - so men with those signs will appeal to her. She has Mars in Sagittarius = making sportsmen and people of other cultures/ethnicities also attractive.
[Kanye West is a Gemini Sun sign]

Through Kourtney:
Cancer, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio are her love, partner and attraction indicators. She has Mars in Aries - which more accurately reflects the man in her life Scott Disick a Gemini Sun sign who is known mostly for his anger-management issues = classic Mars in Aries

Through Khloe:
Khloe has Mars and Saturn in Scorpio = older males with this energy will appeal. Cancer, Virgo and Libra are her love, partner and attraction indicators.
Lamar Odom is a Scorpio [an energy linking Khloe more to her early association with Bruce [Scorpio], than with her biological father Robert [Pisces].

Headed by Kris Jenner, the Kardashian-Jenner clans are clearly a matriarchal dynasty - her husband Robert died and her subsequent husband Bruce crossed over to the female side. The 3 Kardashian sisters find their path towards stable partnership is studded with issues.

December 2016 & Christmas Astrology

noreply@blogger.com (Starfish) — Wed, 14 Dec 2016 20:42:00 +0000

December 2016 sees a complex clustering of planets which will have significant effects on significant numbers of people
The Full moon on December 14 starts to gather in the clustering energies, though they will grow in their synergistic force towards December 25th

The most beneficial shift for some people will be a growing spiritual awareness about their relationship to others - whether that is identified formally within a belief system, or simply as an attitudinal change.
An opening up of social consciousness and responsibility towards others is fundamental to the spirit of this significant energy cluster
A feeling of wanting to support, assist, be generous - but with moderation, restraint or conditions.

At its best this is an opportunity for some people to recognise their position of comfort and good fortune and to see that they can reach out to others not receiving such benefits in this life

For those not feeling the positives of this energy -as giver or receiver - there is still significant change on offer - but more as a result of making shifts under duress - the pressure of some stressful situation demanding that personal changes are made in attitude or behaviour.

In essence this is Maturing energy - feeling able to be a nurturer or supporter of others requires this level of personal growth. The Wounded Child within is pacified enough to allow the emergence of a parental, guiding energy within the personality.

Some people will achieve this growth in non-traumatic increments - others will be very strongly confronted with their need to change -effectively grow up - and chronological age is no indicator of when this process will occur - for some it happens in their final decades of life.

Those who cannot at this point rise to the maturing challenge will experience significant consequences.

December 25th and the days surrounding it intensifies the maturing energies, offering the ideal outcome of healed relationships, new perspectives born of understanding the bigger picture of relating, family, society and ultimately our humanity, our spiritual essence.

This growth opportunity, no matter what aspect of life is involved, will be primarily offered to people born on or in days surrounding

January 7th, April 7th, July 9th, October 10th - and

February 22, May 24, August 26, November 25

Within the context of global events these energies also take on a significant meaning. Politics that affect humanity are needing to be re-assessed.
The Earth itself bears these energies directly, being subject to all cosmic forces and the weather and crust of the earth are strongly affected by strong clusters of energy. Any intensity of forces is capable of expressing as extreme weather events and shifts in the tectonic balance - as balance/imbalance is fundamental to the themes of the cluster. Seismic unrest and large scale geophysical events must also be considered to be elevated potentials under these influences.

[update Dec 29 - significant spots around the Pacific Ring of Fire are seismically active in the past 24 hours]

The Astrology Explained

The Full Moon in Sagittarius-Gemini is enhanced by Jupiter, Saturn and Uranus all in close mathematical connectivity. The individual geometries are less relevant than the close mathematical matching.

Venus links in by an exact semi-square to the Sun.

Pluto stays in range due to its activation - from 16 Capricorn - of the others in Cardinal signs -Jupiter at 19 Libra and Uranus at 19 Aries

As Xmas approaches Venus begins to join Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus = all at 20 degrees - and with Pluto at 17 degrees it is definitely close enough to be effective in its transformational role - all together creating a synergistic effect involving relationship growth/change/development. The best outcomes are very positive for those wanting to commit to or formalise, deepen or strengthen bonds.

This is not just about the quality of our relating, but also the spiritual meaning of our connections to particular people as well as humanity in general -a multi-layered shift in consciousness is on offer for those ready for it.

In the simplest of terms the essences of these energies are:

Saturn = maturing

Uranus = changing

Jupiter = growth

Venus = relating

Pluto = transformational shift

All lunar events begin their influence in the days before exactitude and extend effects until the next lunar event of the same type - eg Full Moon to Full Moon

Eclipses last at least 6 months ahead and are also pre-activated by any outer planet trigger at the eclipse degree

From Me to We: Nov-Dec 2016 New Moon

noreply@blogger.com (Starfish) — Tue, 29 Nov 2016 05:06:00 +0000

New Moon November 29/30 2016 carries a complex array of extra energies

Being a Sagittarian sun-moon conjunction means Jupiter is very important - but this time the Jupiter energy is not able to escape from reality checks

Saturn -the great confronter is in tight connection.
Saturn energy will arise in the form of checks and balances needing to be in place to ensure that the expansive, optimistic, carefree, indulgent urges associated with Jupiter are held up to scrutiny to see where they need to be modified.
Saturn will express in the body -aches pains, blockages, failures - with the back, neck, knees, skin, teeth all particularly typical of Saturn restrictions or problems
In Sagittarius Saturn also reduces functions of the liver
Saturn restrains free-ranging [Jupiter] energy while in Sagittarius - enforces a focus -usually involving demanding work, hard work, difficult work
The benefit of the current Saturn in SAG-Jupiter in Libra pairing is happy unions
Jupiter attracts positive connections/relationships/partnerships while in Libra
Saturn assists Jupiter's good omens by saying focus on this opportunity, grow it, nurture it - rein in your free ranging style and make a commitment to this
Uranus in Aries opposite Jupiter says time to make significant personal changes and go from me to we
Pluto in Capricorn linking to Jupiter-Saturn-Uranus says this is serious, this is a major turning point in your life: you will be forever changed by this if you open to what is offered
All combined this power-package of personal growth is saying: time to grow up, accept the discipline, commitment and growth that you need -through the dynamic of partnership

A significant number of people will be on this personal growth wavelength in December 2016

In fact many will make the full commitment by late November and deepen it further even to the point of legalising it in December.

This is primarily but not exclusively private relationship energy -it also can involve any partnership related to a focus - business, therapeutic - anywhere a team approach is beneficial and commitment is essential.

Neptune also cannot be ignored in the effective time period of this New Moon. [26 November-29 Dec]

The effects of Neptune strengthened from its direct movement in the third week of November and then this 8 degree New moon captures Neptune at 9 degrees and the lunar nodes at 8 degrees.

Any energy expressions of Neptune increase their potency - e.g.
All forms of water gain in their elemental force
risks associated with water increase -eg capsize
drugs, alcohol, addictive chemicals or substances all create higher risk factors
problems involving poisons, gases, chemicals
sensitive people more sensitive
sleep more of an issue and dreams more significant; too sleepy or sleepless, foggy mind
potential for faith/religion or deluded beliefs, extreme views, causing destructive behaviour

Negative outcomes arise when particular people's personal energy is aggravated by prevailing energies

The same planets that offer positive potentials for many will be aggravating to others.

With four powerful planets combining the potential for destructive outcomes fuelled by unhealthy beliefs remains high.

This means that with strong forces in effect, December must also be considered, within a global context, to be a time frame requiring vigilance and self care regarding not only environmental threats - forces of nature - but also risks arising from volatile people.

Whenever here are multiple planets in the mutable signs - Gemini, Sagittarius, Virgo, Pisces - because mutables are about flow and movement - there are likely to be transport accidents, breakdowns, general travel issues. This period late Nov 2016 coincides with Saturn, Neptune, Sun, Moon, lunar nodes all in mutables.

More to follow in the Full Moon report in mid December

updates: news items reflective of a range of outcomes from a complex mix of energies associated with this New Moon
Nov 29 gas explosion Sydney reflects Neptune's expression as a gas. Pluto and Uranus are associated with explosions
Nov 29 Plane Crash Colombia - Saturn in Sagittarius is a generally difficult, demanding energy for Sagittarians in general. Saturn in SAG also causes problems for many during travel or in risk-taking adventurous activities. Sagittarius is also the energy most connected to sports. The bundle of planets Pluto-Jupiter-Saturn-Uranus creates a potent energy mix capable of either very positive or very negative outcomes in terms of transformational experiences..the most extreme of which is death. Train Crash Kanpur India - astrology

Train Crash Kanpur India -

astrology of a chain reaction

A major derailment, possibly the result of a track fracture, occurred near Kanpur India just after 3am on Sunday November 20.
A significant prevailing energy pattern activated in the Supermoon full moon of November 14 is shown to have been potent at the time and location of the crash.
Cosmic energy clusters, like lightning, seek an energy path in a process that is electromagnetic - the meeting of resonant positive-negative charges.
This is what determines where energy patterns are compelled to seek a terrestrial end point

As a thundercloud moves over the surface of the Earth, an equal electric charge, but of opposite polarity, is induced on the Earth's surface underneath the cloud...

The induced positive surface charge, when measured against a fixed point, will be small as the thundercloud approaches, increasing as the center of the storm arrives and dropping as the thundercloud passes.
The oppositely charged regions create an electric field within the air between them. This electric field varies in relation to the strength of the surface charge on the base of the thundercloud – the greater the accumulated charge, the higher the electrical field. [Wikipedia]

No human brain or computing capacity can determine or calculate precisely where the energy fields will seek earth [although people with extra-sensory visionary abilities have the strongest advance knowledge]

This is the energy pattern for the Kanpur crash

The signs Libra, Aries, Cancer,Capricorn are of central significance because of the role played by Uranus as an accident signifier - sudden eruptions of energy in any form.
Uranus was strongly activated at the Supermoon and so has a lunar month of potential related to this moon phase - but in addition it has a long-term cycle with Pluto remaining in effect [ a combinination bringing destructive accident or violent aggressive forces ]
At the time of the crash the 4 signs that bring action, the cardinal season markers - Libra, Aries, Cancer,Capricorn dominate the 2 axes of the chart -the horizontal and the vertical.

Jupiter in Libra at the Ascendant in opposition to Uranus in Aries -then both at right angles to the Venus-Pluto conjunction at the base of the chart.

Planets at 8-9-10-11-12-15-16
Degree positions from 8-16 literally functioning like a chain reaction -the midpoint is 12 degrees - the 2 chart axes: the sequence is activated by the fastest moving force = the Moon which means that by the time it reached 10'14 it had already activated Mars, the moons nodes, Venus and Neptune.
The full sequence:
Mars-lunar nodes-Venus-Neptune-Moon-Mercury-2 chart axes-Jupiter-Pluto-Saturn
Where do Sun [28 Scorpio] Uranus and Chiron [ both at 21 degrees - fit it?
28 Scorpio is semisquare 13 Capricorn
Chiron-Uranus midpoint is 6 Aries

All 3 of these positions therefore get triggered -6 Aries now becomes the earliest trigger -
Chiron-Uranus = a very wounding accident
Sun in Scorpio = the death/transformer force activated at 13 degrees -all add to the large scale [Jupiter] destructive effect [Pluto] with major issues of loss [Saturn, Pluto-Venus]

So effectively this is an interesting and highly unusual example of full-energy activation in a single event - every planetary or energy factor in this chart has become part of the signature of this tragic event

update November 22 2016
Less than 48 hours later -another chain reaction pattern emerged off the coast of Japan, in a similar zone to the 2011 Sendai major quake-tsunami events
A seafloor quake later rated at M6.9 generated a small tsunami. Neither event any where near as catastrophic as in 2011 -but the chart pattern is full of links to the train crash energy in India due to again a total involvement of all the chart factors shown.

Common trigger, the Moon is near exact on the upright axis and closely contacting one end of the lunar nodal axis. - both oppose Neptune [the water signifier]which is exact with the Pisces lunar node in the southern position.
Effectively the first group of degree positions involve
0-5-6-9-11
Moon at 0 degrees 12 hours earlier than the quake triggered the Sun at effectively 0 Sagittarius
0 triggers everything at 14-16 = Mercury-Jupiter-Pluto-Saturn
At time of quake, The horizontal axis [ 22 degrees] picks up Chiron-Uranus -both around 21 degrees

Uranus at 21 is captured by Jupiter and Pluto both at 15 - first by the opposition of Uranus to Jupiter - setting up a midpoint of 18 degrees -then Pluto is further pulled in - positioned effectively at 16 degrees

The energy is chasing all over the place like the branches formed by forked lightning

Quake Swarm in New Zealand at November Supermoon

noreply@blogger.com (Starfish) — Sun, 13 Nov 2016 21:46:00 +0000

Significant seismic unrest has returned to New Zealand on November 14 2016, coinciding with the closest lunar transit of Earth in 2016 -the November 14 Supermoon [Full Moon in Scorpio-Taurus]

the energy of the building full moon - this was when the first quakes emerged at 2 minutes after midnight

This lunar event at 22 degrees [exact sun-moon opposition in NZ on Nov 15] was under the strain of transiting Uranus at 21 Aries.
Uranus is exact in its interaction with the sun on Nov 14. This planetary force is commonly associated with out of the blue events - earthquakes, accidents, sudden eruptions of energy - which can emerge in the form of natural forces in the environment or associated with forces expressed through biological species such as humans, animals.

[update Nov 21: apart from the multitude of cracks in the NZ landscape and structures due to the extended quake swarm, significant accident energy far from the quake zone has occurred in NZ in addition to significant quake energy. Tree crashing onto cars, child killed on play equipment, major impact accidents in Dubai and the derailment of a train near Kanpur India with large numbers of fatalities and injuries, on Nov 20 ]

Scorpio-Taurus energies involve not only the physical human body and the Earth's physical forms but also their transformation ....
The potential for negative outcomes or at least major change is increased greatly when a planet capable of triggering the solar-lunar axis is mathematically in range of the positions of the sun and moon.
The Moon - the commonest timing trigger has dominant influence at the top, aligned with the meridian axis
multiple factors at 1-3-5-7 degrees synergise
Neptune is exact on the lunar nodal axis at 9 degrees and 9 degrees [Virgo] was the preceding solar eclipse point in September. Water = sea - was effected but Neptune's location away from the main chart axes is likely to have lessened the scope for a tsunami event
highly destructive and large scale plutonic forces enter the picture with the combination of Pluto and Jupiter meeting at 14 degrees -a position which also triggers the full Cancer-Capricorn-Aries-Libra group of planets [Uranus-Jupiter-Pluto] plus the horizontal axis ranging from 7-21 degrees = 14 midpoint.
Being in close proximity to a strong solar-lunar event and with Neptune so closely aligned with the lunar nodal axis, WATER must be considered as an ongoing threat potential in the ensuing days after the seismic swarm began to unfold [already water sources on land from dams to swimming pools have collapsed] but the known threat still relates to a landslide event along the steep coastal environment around Kaikoura generating a tsunami
[update Nov 17 2016 - WATER threats have included flooding and torrential rain in various parts of NZ in recent days including the zones of seismic unrest but in respect of quake related issues, landslip debris has created river dams that are collecting water and at risk of sudden breaches]

See this extended animation of quake locations

and a small sample -some of Nov 15 quakes in the triangle from Hamner Springs to Kaikoura - mainly on land, a few on the seabed. The animation shows an effect like being scatter-bombed from beneath. [a perfect representation of the prevailing Pluto-Uranus-Jupiter synergy]

Occurring in North Canterbury just past midnight as the date November 14 ticked over, 2 earthquakes appear to have occurred so close in time in separate locations, tricking the computers into recording an amalgamated M7.5 trigger event, with over 50 aftershocks within the subsequent 11 hours.

The epicentre is sitting astride the major crustal plates of the Pacific-Australia region and is therefore at ongoing risk for some time

Canterbury became high risk after major seismic events of 2010-2012 in particular - with the people and city of Christchurch severely impacted. Now the energy has moved North as anticipated...

This is what a M8.2 looked like January 1855 Wairarapa lower North Island, New Zealand

The horizontal axis at 12 degrees is dominated by Neptune [water indicator]
The Moon [timing trigger] at 12 degrees linked to Uranus [earthquake indicator] and Venus [another timing factor - in support of the Moon]
Multiple factors hovering in a tight range provides a chain reaction of forces
In addition the chain reaction is amplified by a locomotive effect of Sun-Mercury-Jupiter synergising energies
Uranus was stationary direct -allowing full potency to its eruptive effects
critical degrees between 12-14 responded to the trigger eclipse of November 1854

This is a Death Chart - astrological indicators of a violent event

noreply@blogger.com (Starfish) — Wed, 26 Oct 2016 04:59:00 +0000

This is a Death Chart - astrological indicators of a violent event

Planetary positions at Universal Time 04.15 on 25 October 2016.
One high profile event [details withheld out of respect for the tragedy] is known to have occurred on this day at the indicated time, involving multiple fatalities.
An energy is earthed at a particular place and time
due to a synergy of the locational, prevailing and individual/personal energies being in resonance.
What is found commonly with events of significant impact is that planetary positions are very clearly potentized at the time of the event.

An astrological chart has two power axes - the vertical axis labelled MC-IC and the horizontal axis labelled AC-DC.
One or both of theses axes are commonly found to be strongly activated - more accurately the planetary factors especially in close conjunction to either axis - are strengthened, made more significant -when high profile events occur.
Depending of the signatures of the planets involved -this can work positively or negatively in terms of outcomes.

This chart has Saturn and Venus in the most powerful position of all possible points around the chart circle -the most elevated point in the circle.
Saturn is a bond, Venus is a relationship
Next look to the left of the horizontal axis:
Neptune in Pisces and the South Lunar node in Pisces are in close range of the ascendant energies in Pisces
Pisces is water
Saturn and Venus are the apex of energies radiating left and right -as shown by the red lines. The north and South lunar nodes are shown completing the triangle by their exact opposition. Multiple stress energies generated by this arrangement.

water surrounds an event involving loss of relationship, separation, confusion, anxiety, grief

A tightly grouped collection of energies -all within the range 8-13 degrees intensifies the conflicting forces

The Sun and Mercury closely connected in early Scorpio [0-2 degrees] link to the suspected trigger -the Moon at 0 degrees.
Scorpio and the 8th house where they were positioned at the event time concern issues of transformation and death.
The Moon not only activated the Scorpio forces but also the Mercury energy of transport - death in motion
The Moon also triggered the 15 degree position of Pluto [Scorpio's representative planet] [sesquiquadrate angle]

Pluto forces are commonly present in violent events.
Here Pluto sits in range of Mars [15 & 19 degrees].

Mars then responds to the sudden violent force coming from Uranus in Aries [22 degrees]
Uranus is the usual suspect in accidents and it is part of the picture here but most significantly is the role of karmic interpersonal dynamics - signified by the outright prominence of Saturn-Venus at the time of the event and the very karmically* relevant lunar nodes sitting so noticeably across the horizontal axis -the energy point that is all about Self and Other -close relationships and relationship with the Self -and how forces related to past and future lives all came to fruition in a very sudden life-changing event.

No single cause is evident in disastrous events. There is always a trigger [usually the Moon, being the fastest moving factor] then like a series of co-ordinated explosions, the energies merge in a domino effect, cascading into chaotic outcomes.

*Karma is a complex Buddhist term that encompasses multiple inter-related factors that stem from past actions and that over time involve rebalancing

Cyberwar and the transition to Jupiter-Saturn in Air

noreply@blogger.com (Starfish) — Fri, 21 Oct 2016 22:41:00 +0000

The historic transition of the Jupiter-Saturn cycle from the earth element into the element of air has significant implications not only for the human response to the physical world, the material object, but also regarding the increasing role and dominance of the extra-terrestrial domains - the sky, outer space - and the forms of energy employed in those domains - especially any in wave-form rather than as a physical vehicle.
Consistent with this transition is the increasing presence of not only geosynchronous satellites [GEO] but now also Middle and Low earth orbits [MEO and LEO ] orbiting Earth in recent decades....

This satellite web encompassing Earth has no precedent and with the evidence of exponential growth recorded by the satellite industry due to a global dependency on this system for infrastructure support, we are definitely in bold uncharted territory given that Space is a hostile and unpredictable environment, under the local control of our massive sun-star and vulnerable to all manner of fly-by attacks from wandering rocks.
The human capacity to subvert attack, destroy all manner of systems will increasingly become engaged in the detection and manipulation of vulnerabilities in all communications systems due to the potential of cyberwar to effect massive consequences.
The threat from Superpowers attacking each other's satellites is increasingly real ;
"...in the 1980s the Soviet Union developed parts of its Naryad antisatellite (ASAT) system to place "kill vehicles" in orbit that could attack GEO satellites..."

All communications systems

correspond to the element of Air

In 2016 the world is in the transition period, approaching the full-blown dominance of Air based energies/technologies.

The antecedent and unfolding situation is as follows:

The elemental transition from earth to air dominance in technologies in the Jupiter-Saturn cycle has been preceded by repeated conjunctions in the earth element from 1842 until the end of 1980.
From 1981 to May 28, 2000 there was a sequence of Air conjunctions.
From May 28, 2000 to Dec 21, 2020 is the last gasp in Earth element dominance [focus on material objects & grossly physical technologies] for hundreds of years.

Due to adverse social-economic-political conditions hallmarked by aggressive and destructive human forces, this transition into Air technologies will see a global increase in cyber attacks affecting all communications systems from individual household and personal technologies to local, national and global networks affecting potentially the full range of infrastructure that has become dependent on this operational system.
