For some unknown reason Zynga decided to discuss the company’s Fourth Quarter and Full Year 2013 Financial Results yesterday as opposed to the February 6, 2014 date it originally announced [1].

For the 6th consecutive quarter Zynga has shown a decline in revenues. Zynga’s Q4’13 revenues are only 53% the amount Zynga generated in Q2’12.

In Q1’14 Zynga projects another decline in revenue. Zynga is projecting revenue in Q1’14 to be between $11 – $22 less than the $176 million the company generated in Q4’13. FarmVille, FarmVille 2, and Zynga Poker continue to carry the company in revenue as those 3 games have generated more than half of Zynga’s total revenue.

Mafia Wars players and fans might want to start thanking FarmVille players for keeping the game we love and play free to play.

The decline in revenue is being over-shadowed by optimism that Zynga will have a positive year in 2014. During the conference call Zynga announced the acquisition of NaturalMotion. NaturalMotion is known for hit mobile games "CSR Racing" and "Clumsy Ninja". Don Mattrick further boosts the ‘high hopes’ of ZNGA investors by proclaiming that “Zynga will have no debt and $1.2 cash on the company’s balance sheet.”

WSJ: Do you see more acquisitions ahead?
Mattrick: After we purchase NaturalMotion, we’re going to have no debt and $1.2 billion on our balance sheet. We’ve got a really solid business and solid position.

The Wall Street Journal showed more optimism of Don Mattrick within an edited interview;

WSJ: What’s been going on since you were named CEO?
Don Mattrick: It feels to me like we’ve ended 2013 with material progress, with momentum that we’re carrying into 2014 and we’ve had some successes. Two examples of successes we call out in our earnings call later today, which is growth in our casino business, which is posting growth for the first time in 18 months, and the second highlight is “Words With Friends” doing its largest quarter in the history of that product, which is a five year product to date.
WSJ: How would you characterize the company’s strategy at this point?
Mattrick: Content is a core area where we just see great opportunities to build a business that is able to post multiple top 20 global hits. And when I look at our current portfolio, we would say we have been blessed to have three of those already in our poker/casino products, our “Words With Friends” products, and with “FarmVille.”
We’ve got new bets underway that we will be announcing that we’ll announce over the course of 2014, but you can anticipate that we’re still funding, still creating new products in addition to those products.

I’m a bit more skeptical. Unless Zynga can draw players back to it’s existing titles and/or have a few major hits this year I am not going to jump on the Band-Wagon just yet.

Stat Wise has returned to Mafia Wars. For a mere $15 you can choose the stats of 5 loots. That averages to $3 per loot. The 5 loots to choose the stats of are a Mercenary, a Pygmy Hippopotamus, a Winged Barrier, a Swiss Army Cannon, and a Runeminer.

You must choose the stats of all 5 loots (duplicate loots only available in more purchases). Zynga does permit the option to randomize your choices.

Once you have chosen the stats of all 5 loots you can proceed to making your purchase.

Although Mafia Wars may appear to have a little momentum in improving it’s Daily Users over the course of the past 2 weeks the game is far from where it once was. The next 2 graphics show how much Daily activity Mafia Wars has lost within the last year and 2 years (respectively).

We have expressed time and again how we believe Zynga is its own worst enemy with its business model. Others are now expressing similar thoughts. The following is a quote from Robert Weinstein who wrote an article on thestreet.com that questioned Zynga’s Customer Service.

“According to Zynga's filings, few users break out the credit card to spend real money. OK, that's not a surprise, but maybe the exact model it's using isn't the correct one.”

The problem with Zynga (within nearly ALL it's games) is that they have forgotten that their games are ‘supposed’ to be ‘freemium’ games. Mafia Wars is among several of Zynga’s games that have become money grubbing games that are nearly impossible to play (or to at least have the ability to complete many of the ‘in-game’ tasks and features) without the need of spending lots of cash.

Zynga made its billions 4 (+/-) years ago when its games were playable by everyone. Players used to spend $5 or $10 on a game card or other in-game purchase when they didn’t feel over-pressured by Zynga to do so. This is back when the in-game purchases either sped you through something or gave you a small perk over others (albeit only temporary).

The over-priced and high-pressure tactics of Microsoft WILL NOT work in a ‘Freemium’ atmosphere! Period. Those tactics will only chase players away from your services Zynga! Facebook is not like the X-Box.

D’ya wanna have some fun.

Let’s say that Mafia Wars made the following announcement of changes to Mafia Wars;

Coming soon to a Mafia-Wars game near you....... In the coming weeks there will be some changes made to the attack system. The most visible change will be the implementation of ammunition for guns. If you run out of ammunition, you will switch to a backup melee weapon, and NOT another gun. This means if you do not maintain your ammo stockpiles, you could be left bringing a knife (or other melee weapon) to a gun fight. This will potentially enable weaker players to beat stronger players that run out of ammo.

In the next couple of days you will see ammo appearing in the shops available for purchase. You will also find that the inventory page now indicates the type of ammo a given weapon uses. It is your responsibility to buy the proper ammo for your weapons, and there are going to be some similar ammo names. Don't buy .50 Caliber BMG ammo thinking it will work in your Desert Eagle, it won't work.

Another change that you will see is when mugging another player, you will now gain certain items on top of money. You will not be able to steal Support Packs, but other items may be available for theft. The exact items that will be available are still yet to be determined. Items preceded by an asterisk (*) in the inventory can be stolen when you are mugged, so you will have an idea of what you may lose if you get mugged.

Finally, when this change goes live, everyone will be credited with a certain amount of ammo for each type of gun in their inventory, so any inactive/infrequent players aren't at a disadvantage right away. But then again, if a player is inactive or does not come on very much, chances are they aren't going to be reading this before the change goes live, so we're not sure why we are announcing this.

As we highlighted in the Top 25 list you will notice 6 players with the last name ‘Corliss’. That equates to 24% of the Top 25. With so many players with the same last name who finished among the top 25 it doesn’t bode well in considering these events legitimate. One must question as to whether all 6 of these Corliss’s are different players or are they all the same player?

Obviously scripts were used by ALL those who finished in the Top 25. These types of events have succeeded at nothing more than promoting the use of scripts and cheating. The players who do finish at the top of these types of events are rewarded for their cheating efforts and do NOT even deserve bragging rights.

Many players don’t even bother trying in these types of events because we know we can’t compete and Zynga continues to widen the gap in the playing field by rewarding these players more and more.

The DAU has not seen 200,000 since November 15, 2013. That’s more than 2 months ago. Need we ask why? These types of events and the use of scripts along with Zynga’s relentless pushes for purchases of RP are culminating the demise of this once reward winning game. Zynga needs to give ALL players a reason to continue playing Mafia Wars. They might find that if they did Zynga might actually generate a positive in revenue and NOT another decline. JMO.

ZNGA has been on a very slow incline over the course of the past year. Investors have been hopeful that Don Mattrick would revive ZNGA back to, at least, the levels of ZNGA’s IPO. Since Q2‘12 Zynga’s revenues have been on a steady decline.

Zynga no longer boasts a top 10 Facebook App.

The direction of the company is clearly uncertain. One can only speculate what will be announced regarding Zynga’s financials on Feb 6, 2014. We fear more of the same.

Don’t look so confused Pan. Stay in control. Just realize that we are far from Neverland and the game we all play and blog about is called Mafia Wars after all. If you want to play a game that is filled with fairies maybe you should try CastleVille.

Mafia Spirit has taken a lot of criticism from the fairies in the game that have spread their dust (Bullshit and Lies) all around Facebook and elsewhere. It must be some really good dust too since they have many more followers than we do and they like to brag about that fact and try to humiliate us with it. But, they don’t know who I am nor why I do what I do (Although they have tried to find out).

There is a reason we just hit 96,000 fans and it’s because of an engaged group of players who all help each other learn the game. My only purpose is to put all that stuff together in one place. I don’t solely take credit for any of this because it’s always a group effort. If I did this all on my own or spent my time worrying about what others post then we would still be waiting after all these years to get out of the triple digit bracket.

We could have a larger following if we tried harder and had our noses in every Facebook group and Skype room or your business like others do. We could inflate our Facebook likes if we wanted to create 1,000’s of mini accounts or bought them. We could even add Admins to our pages to spread our good word and to paint illusions of grandeur. We could even pay for advertising if we wanted to. But we do none of those things.

We’ve done none of those things because we aren’t trying to make money from what we do, for one thing. Also, we have no overwhelming desire to be number 1 in a dying game like others do. We are simply trying to provide another perspective of the game. We do hope you like what we do and we appreciate those of you who have been brave enough to click the ‘like’ buttons on Facebook and/or shared our posts. We also appreciate those of you who follow us incognito (which there are many more of you than others may realize).

Our fanbase, and other blogs too, could possibly be higher IF we weren’t being falsely accused of many things and weren’t being reported and threatened.

Nit picking about who posted what first is for those who don’t have anything else to write about.

Hmm, maybe that’s because you made it an issue since you’ve accused too many others of copying, or stealing, from you? Ever think about that one? Probably NOT!

Now you contradict yourself (again) by stating;

Those who provide information to the Mafia Wars community all have limited content to write about and have their own ways of obtaining information. Many things are posted on various groups and fan pages before I even get online and vice versa. We all can’t be online 24/7 and I do my best to post information as soon as I can. Just because someone may have posted it before me doesn’t mean I got that information from them or vice versa. Game and server images are available to anyone and they are owned by Zynga and not the 1st person who posted them. The only time I ever get upset over seeing the same images I’ve posted elsewhere is when they are taken directly from our site. Those who accuse me of ‘stealing’ images that are in the Zynga servers or right in our game should look at themselves in the mirror and say the same whenever one is posted here first. I wouldn’t have time to run this site if I felt compelled to keep track of how many times that happens and spend my time pointing it out.

When you're ready for the big experience, you'll need to know when it will be! You'll find that the big day can fall on any Tuesday between February 3 and March 9. Carnival celebration starts on January 6, the Twelfth Night (feast of Epiphany), and picks up speed until midnight on Mardi Gras, the day before Ash Wednesday.

How do you know which Tuesday it will be?

Ash Wednesday is always 46 days before Easter, and Fat Tuesday is always the day before Ash Wednesday. Easter can fall on any Sunday from March 23 to April 25, with the exact date to coincide with the first Sunday after the full moon following a spring equinox! There you have it! Voila! If you're still confused, get out that calendar with the printed holidays on it--it's the day before Ash Wednesday!

Who plays in Brazil?

Yesterday Mafia Spirit showed you the next Limited Time Operation that will be called Brazilian Liaison. [1] Within an hour after our post a competing blogger promptly made a similar post implying that they found the images along with the following comment; “At this time none of the loot items have been added to the inventory but they should be soon if this is in fact a newly added image.” The truth is that they would NOT have known about this Brazilian Operation if WE hadn’t posted about it first. We do the work and find the images and they try to steal the credit, like they have accused others of doing so many times. If they want respect from me then they MUST EARN IT! – I must say, we are humbled that they like what we do here at Mafia Spirit and that they follow us. Maybe you should tell your friends about us so you don’t get second hand news.

The loots have now been added to the in-game inventory. All the Loots for the ‘Brazilian Liaison’ Operations are shown below (as you will likely see within the game once the operations become active);

The Bronze, Silver, and Gold level reward will be a loot called ‘Pre-Caution.’

Who plays in Brazil?

It was on March 23, 2011 when Brazil opened for everyone. For many Mafia Wars players the district has become all but forgotten. The only time many players access Brazil is when we are required to do so for a mission or some other type of event. The loots are all but obsolete. There are destinations that offer better job ratios. There isn’t really a reason for many to access Brazil anymore, unless you haven’t mastered the district yet.

Zynga will soon give us a reminder that Brazil is there. A new Limited Time Operation will soon be available. It will be called ‘Brazilian Liaison’.

This will be the first Limited Time Operation that is centered around Brazil.

I do wonder if we will receive London Pounds while we master these Operations?

I wonder if I will be able to master the Brazilian Liaison Operations? As the player base continues to decline completing these Operations are becoming more and more difficult for many to complete them.

Then there’s Zynga and their drive to make the game impossible to play without having to refinance your home just to play this game. In other words; Zynga will likely add to the difficulties many players face by messing something up. God forbid the free playing players from being able to complete (or compete in) anything Zynga releases in this game anymore.

Sorry for the rants. We’ll just have to wait and see what is in store for us in this round of Operations.

Ice Season 30 is under way. Nothing different from the previous Ice Season other than the Grand Prize loot, which is a Snooker Player.

Snooker (UK /ˈ s n uː k ər , -k ə /^[1] or US /ˈ s n ʊ k ər /)^[2] is a cue sport that is typically played on a table covered with a green cloth or baize, with pockets situated in each of the four corners and a further two, commonly referred to as the middle, or side pockets, that sit in the middle of each of the long side cushions. The (baize) cloth on a snooker table has a directional nap running from the balk end of the table towards the end with the (black ball) spot. This affects how a ball rolls depending on which direction it is hit or shot. A regular (full-size) table is 12 × 6 ft (3.7 × 1.8 m). It is played using a cue and 22 snooker balls: one white cue ball, 15 red balls worth one point each, and six balls of different colours: yellow (2 points), green (3), brown (4), blue (5), pink (6) and black (7).^[3] A player (or team) wins a frame (individual game) of snooker by scoring more points than the opponent(s), using the cue ball to pot the red and coloured balls. A player receives additional points if the opponent commits a foul or fails to escape from a snooker. A player wins a match when a certain number of frames have been won.

On September 2, 2013 we posted about a new collection that is called the Gracias Collection. The Gracias Collection is now available.

Pick an Accomplice and Gain Extra XP From Fights! Receive gifts from your friends and Vault the new Gracias Collection for great Rewards!

Q: What is The Accomplice? When will it start?
A: The Accomplice is a limited-time event where you can gain additional XP from fights in Chicago with the help of your friends who play Mafia Wars.

The event will start on September 19, 2013 and will end on October 04, 2013 and will be applicable only for Fights in Chicago.

Q: How do I access the Event? How does it work?
A: Please travel to Chicago and click on Fight to access The Accomplice.

You can also access The Accomplice and Gracias Collection through the Home Page module.

You will notice the change in Fight screen for Chicago with a pre-populated list of Accomplices from your Facebook friend list who will last for a certain number of fights and will help you earn additional XP.

Your friends will also see you as an Accomplice when they fight in Chicago and can benefit from you in the form of additional XP.

Please note that best available Accomplice (in other words, the most active Accomplice) will be selected by default.

You also have an option to pick your own Accomplice before starting a Fight.

Hover over the image of any Accomplice to find out how many fights they will last and help you earn additional XP.

When you attack an opponent, you will see a screen which shows you the amount of XP received from the selected Accomplices:

Q: How is the extra XP calculated?
A: Each Accomplice will give you 1 extra XP per Fight. Total XP earned will depend on the total number of Accomplice available to you, their Mafia Wars activity level and your Level.

Once you have received all the XP from an Accomplice, you can choose to thank them with a Mystery Gift before selecting your next Accomplice.

Q: Can I thank the Accomplices automatically without having to manually select them?
A: Yes, you can choose to automatically thank your Accomplices and use them. Thanking an Accomplice will send them a Mystery Gift, which can be used to Vault the Gracias Collection.

Q: How will my activity appear to my friends in The Accomplice event? How can I check this?
A: To check how your daily activity in Mafia Wars reflects to your friends in The Accomplice, please visit the Daily Take feature through Home Page module.

Q: What if I do not have any Accomplices actively playing Mafia Wars?
A: If you have less than 50 Accomplices to choose from, the Mini Boss will fill-in for the remaining slots. Every Mini boss will give you benefits equal to one day.

Q: Is there a limit on the XP which I can earn through my Accomplice?
A: Yes, you can benefit from a maximum of 50 Accomplices every 8 hours. After every 8 hours, the list of available Accomplice will be refreshed.

The number of additional XP you can earn through your Accomplice depends on the number of fights they will last which in turn depends on your Level and the days your Accomplice has been active.

Gracias Collection

Q: How do I collect items for the Gracias Collection?
A: The new Gracias Collection is a part of The Accomplice Event and offers great benefits on each Vault.

Every time your friends choose you as an Accomplice during the event and send a Mystery Gift to thank you, the items from the Mystery Gift will be added to your 'Gracias Collection'.

The Gracias Collection can be vaulted multiple times during The Accomplice event and you can receive any of the following Rewards:

Once you have vaulted the collection, you can re-vault only after your current boosts expire.

You can access the Collection through the Home Page module or through the Special collections in “Collections & Vault” section of Inventory.

Q: Can I vault or re-vault the Gracias Collection after The Accomplice event expires?
A: No, you will only be able to Vault the Collection while The Accomplice event is active. Once the event is over, you will be unable to Vault the Collection.

Sometimes you get further talking to a wall than you do talking with people.

“For those who are unable to respect the playing styles of others, there is a new Spocklet called the Idiot-a-Nator. If only this could permanently remove the Mafia Wars applications for those who qualify.”

The individual who wrote the above statement knows who they are. Apparently they believe that we, Mafia Spirit and others, are idiots if we do not agree with their BULLSHIT!

“I really don’t care what people say or think but I do stand by my statement that nobody has a right to criticize anyone in this game (at least not on my site).”

They “really don’t care what people say or think” about comments where they make derogatory statements of others. Like their shit don’t stink. Like they are better than you and I.

I ask, Who the ____ are they to tell me, you or anyone else that they don’t have a right to say or criticize anything? I will criticize anything I wish to (or don’t like) about the game because I DO have a right to do so. Just like they have a right to believe that I don’t have a right to even if they are wrong. The first Amendment gives me (and them) that right! Of course there may be repercussions for what I or they say.

Now, if they really don’t care what anyone has to say about certain things, ideas, concepts, game features, etc, then why do they need to say anything at all about what others say? Why must they tell you that you don’t have a right to say something that might be negative about a feature within the game? Why do they continue to post about it?

They can ask all the same questions of me.

For me, as to why I write about these issues, it is about defending the little guys. It’s about integrity. It’s about fairness. It is about respect! It IS about what I believe IS best for the game.

Do you believe that anyone deserves to be called an ‘idiot’ just because they might have a differing viewpoint or opinion than someone else does? I don’t. But, this is not the first time that those whom I speak about have called others ‘idiots’. They are also accusing of of not respecting others playing styles;

“For those who are unable to respect the playing styles of others”

That comment is grossly inaccurate. We have never stated anything about players style of play other than the use of scripts IS a cheat. What we are criticizing IS Zynga, the Scripts, and certain features that we see (or believe) that have hurt the game in some manner. More specifically, this debate is about any (and all) feature(s) that have a leaderboard to determine players who are rewarded for finishing in the top 10.

We are NOT criticizing the players because they are only using the tools in which Zynga and the script writers have provided them.

We are also upset because you ARE being blatantly lied to. When these people make comments like;

“As you can see from the post I made about it, I’ve been against these types of events from the start”

They provide a link to an old post where, as evidence to their claim, they made statements like

“Not too long ago, Zynga warned us not to abuse scripts then changed their stance to don’t use scripts at all. Since then, many of us have modified our behavior in fear that Zynga would start taking more serious action than the lame warning popup that some players (to include those who don’t even use scripts) have been getting for years.”

Who has a shovel? I’m knee deep in the hoopla….. Oh, and there’s more;

“The Let The Ices Begin Family Ice Event encourages script use in every way shape and form. There is a nice leaderboard “glorifying” the top 4 families who get the most ices and Zynga even claims that these are the strongest in Mafia Wars. Most realize the number of ices you get does not correlate to strength but correlates to how many hours you are willing to run your fight scripts during the event. You know as well as I do that none of these families are fighting manually as Zynga says we should do. In the end those who choose to use scripts and blatantly show it are going to be rewarded with a loot item.”

They further exemplify the necessity to use the scripts in the next paragraph;

“Nothing about this event make sense. There is no bully throttle, players are encouraged and bribed with loot to be on the leaderboard and it's really a contest of let the best script abusers win. Its like taking a group of recovered crack addicts on a field trip to a crack house.”

The only point in the entire article that ‘might’ imply a stance against these leaderboard types of events is when it is stated;

“Mafia Wars has pulled some pretty crazy stunts in the past and I would rank Let The Ices Begin up there with the Snoop Dogg incident”

No! That comment IS NOT a direct stance against these events and features! In the last paragraph it’s buried anyway when it is implied to be patient because their co-horts who write the scripts will figure away around the problems with this statement;

“If Let The Ices Begin is a sting by Zynga to ban accounts that are abusing scripts than this is phase one of the assimilation process. Team Spockholm is smart enough not to put all their eggs in one basket.”

Sure, they will argue that that was just part of a joke. But puhlease, WE ARE NOT THAT STUPID! We can read between the lines at what was implied!

We’ve already pointed out other contradictive statements. Such as;

I’d say that with considering all the facts one can only deduce that this individual only states what they believe whomever they are speaking to at any given time wants to hear.

“I’ve been against these types of events from the start”

If you believe those words then why didn’t you take a more pronounced stance against these Leaderboard type of events? More like this stance from WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 15, 2012:

This kind of feature would have been an OK, at best, idea if the game were new. These kinds of features do not really mean anymore than bragging rights and will get boring rather quickly. Especially when the same players are at the top each time it resets. You know, those players that topped the Death By Ice event. Other than those players, WHO CARES? This is just another feature for them.
For the rest of us, If rewards will be involved it may make this interesting for a minute. However, that would just lead to some players finding ways to cheat.
Ultimately this feature is just going to take up space on Zynga’s servers. Many players won’t care to even check on it unless they need to collect something.

Somehow, something just doesn’t seem right about this -

I 100% DISAGREE! AS A PLAYER OF THIS GAME (FREE or PAYING) I HAVE A RIGHT TO MOAN, GROAN, WHINE, GRIPE, BITCH, COMPLAIN, AND ANYTHING ELSE I CHOOSE TO SAY ABOUT THIS GAME! ….. PERIOD!!! ….. JUST LIKE YOU DO OH GREAT AND POWERFUL AND WONDERFULLY DECEPTIVE MAFIA WARS LOOT LADY!

I BELIEVE 25 TO 45 MILIION FORMER PLAYERS WOULD AGREE WITH ME.

Look, I may not spend tons of cash on this game, but, that DOES NOT mean that I am NOT a customer of Zynga’s. In fact, I AM very much a potential customer of Zynga’s and THAT, alone, GIVES ME THE RIGHT to criticize Zynga, the game of Mafia Wars, the features within it, AND YOU!

It’s so great and wonderful that you and your family have finished in the top 4 of these events 67% of the time and in the top 10 100% of the time. Maybe this is why you don’t want others criticizing these events. You don’t want to lose your unfair advantages that YOU ABUSE!

I am sorry, but, just because you spend more money on this game in a weeks time than some gross from their jobs within an entire month it gives you no more, and them no less, a right to say anything about this game. The lesser fortunate ARE PEOPLE TOO! TREAT THEM WITH THE SAME RESPECT THAT YOU DEMAND OF THEM!

Now, you can let this post piss you off to the point where you feel the need to take it out on my character in the game (that is your M.O. after-all). Or you could take it out on the family I am in (which they have nothing to do with my blog - other than being readers of it). You could chase even more players from the game by keeping them (me/us) iced/dead. But, what would that prove? What would that accomplish?

Now please go back to doing what you are good at – that being inflating your numbers for your blog and game by creating tons of mini (ghost) accounts.

We agree that you did make that statement. However, you are now defending it by saying;

Umm, since I have never shied away from being a proponent against the use of scripts and have even written posts about cheating (1) and have openly stood against what the game has become as a result of these abuses, I think that means me and anyone else who has spoke against the cheats. No one is being VAIN at all.

That’s exactly right. It was a blanket statement. Just as my post was speaking in a general point of view of anyone who might wish to criticize these lopsided, UNFAIR events!

Of course you aren’t upset about coming in 4th. We stated that, in so many words. You’ve finished in the top 10 100% of the time. Why would you be upset about it?

The problem is that you (and Zynga both) are too arrogant to see the problem.

All of the comments on your blog, to the point when this screen shot was taken, are all calling out the cheaters.

In your first response to one of your followers you say that

We don’t know what you believe. Is it cheating or not, in your eyes?

The fact that too many players have quit playing as direct result of the scripts is just one of the major problems with the game.

Do the math, please. Only 10 families can win anything in these events. Through 6 of them how many different families have won anything? In theory, there could have been 60 (or up to 6000 players). In reality, there have been less than 20 families (less than 2000 players). These events result the same families winning every time only making them stronger and stronger. Thus, guaranteeing the same families will win them again and again. Further guaranteeing that it is pointless for anyone else to try. For that matter, making it pointless for anyone else to play this game, let alone spend money on it.

All-in-all these events ARE NOT indicative of a FAIR AND LEVEL PLAYING FIELD.

Steampunk is a sub-genre of science fiction. Typically modified steam-powered machinery, artistic styles, clothing fashions and cultures are exemplified in an 19th century British Victorian era or American "Wild West" setting. The sub-genre is inspired by an industrialized Western civilization that took the course of an alternative history after the society had discovered steam-power.

Additional elements from the other genres such as fantasy, horror, historical fiction, alternate history, or other branches of speculative fiction may also be incorporated within a Steampunk story.

Zynga’s newest sales gimmick is now available and has Zynga’s own flare to what they envision as Steampunk. It would appear that Zynga’s interpretation of Steampunk has more of a futuristic style.

The Chime Charmer can’t hold a candle to Tina Turner and Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome.

We don’t know if Gamophobia will be the name of this 7 Day Sales Event, or not. But it make it a little interesting, I guess, if it is.

The order in which these loots will be releases within the 7 days is also unknown at this time.

All-in-all these are just more loots that most of us may never see in our inventories. It’s a shame, really, that whoever does the graphical artwork of the loot items doesn’t really get to see their work appreciated with so few players actually purchasing these loots.

NEW FIGHT LOOTS

Most players don’t care how many editions (about 25) of fight loots there have been as long as when there are new editions to the fight loot it is worth fighting for. This set of fight only barely helps the long time players who are NOT VIP players. So I can only imagine that these loots do not help the VIP players (please post in the comments if that is wrong).

The Hooded Merganser is listed as a fight loot and comes with an attack score of 197. There are 2 problems with this loot, however. One, it only drops while fighting in South Africa. Two, it’s attack score is identical to the Albino Alligator which drops in The Arena. Therefore, the Hooded Merganser is already a useless loot if you have maxed on the Albino Alligator’s.

The other loot items drop from All fights. They aren’t much to write home about neither. In all truthfulness I don’t think players pay much attention to these loots that drop from fighting anymore because they become obsolete too quickly. If you fight a lot then you max out on the number of them that you actually might need within hours +/-.

Zynga has this game upside down, if you ask me. The ratio’s of these loots dropping should be more difficult (I know, I hate to say that because if Zynga is listening they’d take it to a ridiculous extreme) and the drop rates in the Lucky Streak event should be loosened up some. In fact, the un-numbered loots in the Lucky Streak feature should be abolished altogether.

Welp, that’s my rant. At least I got that off my chest. Time for me to go get maxed on these loots. Happy Fighting Everyone.
