Hey All.
It is that time of year again!! San Diego Comic Con 09 (SDCC09) is little over a month away!!

If you still do not know what SDCC is, then let me give you a quick update. SDCC is largest comic book convention, but it is more of a TV/Movie/SciFi Fans dream world. Networks and studios have booths and panels to promote their old and new shows and movies.

So of course LOST will be represented and this year is promised to be HUGE. This is the last year for LOST at Comic Con (yes that was hard to type), but Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse promise something "special" for the fans.

In previous years they have provided us with sneak peeks and special Dharma Initiative videos and last year they gave a special prize to each person that asked a question. Matthew Fox was with Darlton last year and there was the Dharma Initiative booth that launched the FAILED ORG ARG, but because of that booth myself and several other Losties were lucky enough to meet and chat with them up close and personal!!

This year my guess is they will be doing something similar with out the Dharma Booth. The panel is indeed scheduled for Saturday, but this year it will be at 11AM and it will be in the huge Hall H again that seats 6,500 (I hear they are expanding it). There will most likely be at least 1 panel at 10AM before LOST, but you will have to sit through that to get a good seat for the LOST Panel.

Last year it was also the second panel and several of you out there braved the early morning hours to hang out and have fun while waiting in line. If you are planning to visit SDCC again this year, I will be there again live blogging and tweeting not only the LOST events but anything and everything else!!

I would love to hang with you all again!! I would say one of the best parts of the weekend is actually getting to meet everyone so I am really looking forward to it all. Tickets are unfortunately sold out, but if you are one of the lucky few that have tickets, then do not forget it is from July 23rd to 26th, with a preview night on Wed the 22nd.

As I mentioned, I will be blogging live for both The ODI and DarkUFO during the LOST events and then for SpoilerTV for other shows and movies. Of course I can not do this all by myself, so if you want to help out with the taking pictures, video tapping, blogging or tweeting or just want to hang out please let us know!!

Melinda investigates a cursed chain email that goes viral, putting all who don't immediately forward it in grave peril...

[GWEN] A "charmingly awkward" girl, this young college student, 18-20 years old, was recently killed while trying to get help for her mother, who was terribly injured in a traffic accident. Convinced that her mother now lies in a coma because she failed to send on a threatening chain email, Gwen makes it a point of spreading the email, terrorizing those who don't comply with it in a benighted effort to "save" them from her mother's fate. Ultimately, Melinda makes Gwen see that she was in no way responsible for her mother's condition, but Gwen may be holding back crucial information that will help Melinda get to the bottom of the spreading "curse"...GUEST STAR

[BRIANNA] This cute, athletic 18-20 year old college coed is having a make-out session with Ned when they are rudely interrupted by a horrifying discovery. She and Gwen were best friends, although they had quarreled bitterly shortly before Gwen's death. As Jay Mohr departs in the season premiere, Jamie Kennedy joins the cast with Jennifer Love Hewitt, David Conrad, Camryn Manheim and Christoph Sanders in Ghost Whisperer - The Complete 4th Season. CBS DVD and Paramount Home Entertainment have announced today that this release will be coming to stores on September 22nd. Not too many details are available yet, but specs provided show it will be anamorphic widescreen video, English 5.1 audio, and a running time of 1015 minutes. Bonus material isn't officially revealed yet, but previous releases are an indication that fans should be able to look forward to commentary tracks, featurettes, and the third run of "The Other Side" webisodes to all be included. That's not for-sure, though, so stay tuned and we'll bring you formal word on that

Thanks to the hundreds of you that completed the Reader Feedback form that we posted yesterday.

Based on the initial feedback we've made some changes that we could implement fairly quickly. Please feel free to submit your suggestions whenever you like.

1) One of the largest requests was to add more shows directly onto the main menu. We've now added a a 3rd row of shows which cover the next most popular shows on the site. Remember you can still access all the shows from the "Select a Show" dropdown menu in the right hand side.

2)We have added a new SpoilerTV Chat room for those that like to chat realtime with others about their favourite shows etc. This can be found in the menu.

3) The At a Glance section has been improved and should load quicker. We've also added several new shows to this page. New shows will be added to this section when they meet a certain threshold in popularity.

4) We will also do our best to try and cover the shows that you've requested although it's not always possible for us to get information on some of these smaller shows, but we will do our very best.

5) I'm pleased to announce that we've just completed the rollout of the new commenting system throughout the site. The new system allows you to comment using a number of mainstream accounts and ID's, PM other users, improved formatting of comments, links, smilies, and photos. You can now leave a comment using any one of the following.

If special effects like a passenger plane falling out of the sky, scaryass ghosts popping out of nowhere or some fancy-schmancy, gruesome makeup are what you love about Ghost Whisperer, we might have some bad news for you.

As we all know, times are tough and even successful television shows are feeling the pinch. At least that's what Jennifer Love Hewitt, star and coproducer of Ghost Whisperer, told us when we caught up with her at the Monte Carlo Television Festival this week.

The star told reporters about the show's cost-cutting methods for next season and even dished on her romance with Jamie Kennedy…

"We are a special effects show, so some of our special effects stuff has had to be cut in half," she said. "We haven't been able to do any actor raises for season five. We've had to cut budgets here and there. They have also been talking about actually shooting our show on HD to save money."

On the upside, J.Love's looking forward to her maternal storylines for next season: "So far, the series has been about her talking to ghosts, but also keeping herself safe and fighting the dark side. Now, she's not only looking out for herself, but looking out for a child as well." Her child, of course, is a baby boy who has "the gift."

The actress attended the festival with boyfriend and costar Jamie Kennedy and wasn't shy with the PDAs. During roundtable interviews with the press, Jennifer popped out a few times to kiss her man, who was sitting nearby conducting his own interviews.

The lovebird laughed about how she recently got a lot of flack for saying that if Jamie didn't propose within a year, there would be hell to pay. She said the statement was taken out of context.

"What I meant by it is, I was engaged and so now all the sudden because I was engaged once in my life I can't do anything else but get engaged again," she explained. "And that's it. I have to either have a baby or get engaged. I can't just be happy and have a great boyfriend and travel the world. Those things are not fantastic enough for people. I have to be ready to get hitched again. Of course there is something underneath there. I do think after a year and a half, if he isn't thinking..."

Hear that, Jamie?!

Ausiello: Sounds like a question for exec producer Hart Hanson. "Booth's problem isn't remembering who Brennan is," he tells me, "it's remembering which Brennan she is." Sneaky!

Question: Are we ever going to find out who Red John is on The Mentalist? --Thaddeus
Ausiello: Yes, but first PJ is going to need some help. Enter California Bureau of Investigations Agent Sam Glenn. The new recurring character, currently being cast, heads up the division handling the Red John investigation and is apparently the one person who doesn't get seduced by Simon Baker's pretty face. He's also Lisbon's (Robin Tunney) onetime mentor and ex, so cue the flying sparks!

Question: Loved the Burn Notice premiere. What's ahead? --Kristin
Ausiello: The show is currently in production on its midseason finale, and I'm told it's chock-full of Fiona-Michael drama -- most of which is triggered by the appearance of that evil Irishman (Paul Blackthorne) from Fi's past. And now for something timelier: In tomorrow night's episode, Fiona plants a wet one on birthday boy Michael. (Her real gift cuts deeper.)

Question: Is there still time to get producers of Ghost Whisperer to change their minds about this five-year flash forward? I think it's a mistake. -- Claire
Ausiello: Don't think so. Any and all hope of getting them to un-ring the time jump bell was pretty much lost on Tuesday when they put out a casting call for Melinda and Jim's now-5-year-old son Aiden.

Question: Where's all this Glee scoop you're supposed to have? --Tessa
Ausiello: Lose the 'tude, Tessa. Here's your Glee prattle: Whitney Houston apparently doesn't share EW staffer Tim Stack's love for singing high schoolers. Last week, Ryan Murphy, creator of Fox's musicomedy, told us he's been engaged in "ongoing talks" with the Grammy-winning superstar to make a guest appearance this fall. But a rep for Houston, whose first studio album in seven years drops Sept. 1, insists "it's not happening." Responds Tim Stack in a statement: "It's not right, but it's ... nope, it's not okay either."

Question: I just saw via your Twitter feed that Zachary Levi randomly stopped by your office last week. Lucky you! When will you be posting the interview? --Crosby
Ausiello: Most likely next week! To tide you over, the Zachster let slip a very spoilery tease about next season's Chuck. It involves the new kung fu-esque intersect in his brain. Apparently, there are some kinks to be worked out.

Question: One of my favorite summer shows, Leverage, is returning next month. Got any scoops on my fave thief-peeps? --Dana
Ausiello: Producers want a "star name actor" to play Nathan's evil doppelganger, Bierko. The mastermind behind his own crew of thieves, the big baddie has assembled a "whizbang mob," which is a fancy way of describing a group of people who move into town, execute a big job, and then move on. Although I'm guessing since the role is recurring that last part doesn't work out so well.

Question: Any scoop on TNT's Saving Grace? It is my favorite summer show! --Cristin
Ausiello: Let's just say that many unanswered questions from last season's finale will definitely be resolved in a timely fashion. For starters, within the first 10 minutes of the June 16 season premiere you'll find out who exactly that girl on the corner is and how she relates to Grace's life. How exactly she changes it is still TBD. Also in the upcoming season: Earl has a rival, someone gets engaged, and Grace may end up in prison!

Question: How about a Dexter scoop, sir? --Mark
Ausiello: We're going to be meeting more of Dexter's neighbors next season. Serial guest star Rick Peters (Veronica Mars, Swingtown, Heroes, Bones, etc.) has been cast as Dexter's next-door nabe, Elliott. We'll also be come face-to-face with Elliott's wife as well as and a third neighbor by the name Andy. Hmm ... I see an extremely awkward block party in Dex's future.

Question: Wait, I thought that it was confirmed that Kirk Acevedo wasn't fired from Fringe? But here you are saying that a new female agent will replace him. What happened? --Michele
Ausiello: All I know is what my sources have told me: Acevedo is leaving for creative reasons and a new female agent will replace him.

Question: What's this I hear about Cappie turning down Casey on Monday's Greek finale? Finally she comes around, and now this? Why's Cappie holding out? --Caitlin
Ausiello: Casey is quickly becoming Greek's Joey Potter, what with all the oscillating between men. So who does she finally pick? Assuming the rumor you heard is true, you could say that maybe Cappie doesn’t want to be a Pacey. Maybe he wants Joey to be with her Dawson. Love is complicated, dammit! Ghost Whisperer, One Tree Hill - Time Jumping

Okay, TV's time jumping trend is officially Out. Of. Control.

A Ghost Whisperer insider confirms that producers of the CBS drama are toying with the idea of kicking the new season off five years into the future. The move would allow the show to introduce Jim and Melinda's son as a pre-schooler instead of as a newborn.

As you'll recall, the season ended with Melinda learning that her offspring would possess psychic powers even greater than her own. Probably a tough story to do with a burping, teething toddler.

Meanwhile, One Tree Hill -- which famously leaped ahead four years at the start of season 5 -- is mulling another flash forward at the onset of season 7 this fall. But this one's not nearly as drastic; a OTH source says the action would likely pick up just one year later.

MATT: Actually, yes. NBC entertainment president Ben Silverman says that while the current plan is to deliver 13 midseason episodes, depending on the ratings, "we may extend it out and continue it through the summer," where he thinks it could pair nicely with Friday Night Lights. "We're looking to ... keep [Chuck] incredibly viral and buzz-worthy until it returns, and then hopefully have it on our air for many years to come." That'd be Awesome. And even more so? When will we find out who's dead in the car on True Blood? — Neil
MICKEY: Since the season premiere (airing Sunday, June 14, 9 pm/ET) picks up right where we left off, the victim's identity is revealed in short order. As you might have already guessed, Season 2's first casualty is related to Tara, but not in a way that you will guess. At first blush, the significance of said death will not be apparent, but just wait! Also, a minor character's drinking problem will resurface — hilariously.

Any scoop on Leverage's second season? How will things be between Nate and Sophie when the show returns? — Maya
TIM: Timothy Hutton tells us that Nate will go into ultra-revenge mode this season, and against people who very much deserve his wrath: "Sometimes the Leverage team says, 'You know, we don't really need to go that far, Nate. It's OK.' And he says, 'No, we're going to bury this guy,'" Hutton says. Of course, the team isn't even together at the start of the season — until one member lures the others to the same city. Would that be Sophie? Hutton says that's not a bad guess.

As a Ghost Whisperer fan, I want to know: When Melinda looks at Jim, does she sees Jim or Sam? And what about Delia, Ned and Eli, who do they see? — Yasser
MATT: This is a sticky wicket and yet a relevant query in light of the season finale, so I beseeched exec producer P.K. Simonds to explain it all. "The face that everyone sees, including Melinda, when they look at 'Jim' is Sam's," he tells the Buzz. "But over time, people who know that Jim's soul is in Sam's body — including Jim himself — will see him more and more like Jim. Even in mirrors, we'll soon stop seeing Sam's face looking back." And that's bad news for that Jericho chap (Kenneth Mitchell) who was playing ol' Sam.

MATT: Eureka returns Friday, July 10, at 8 pm/ET, for 10 episodes. What's more, Season 3.5's guest stars will include Ever Carradine (returning as Jack's sister, Lexie) and The 4400's own Billy Campbell, playing a specialist brought in to assist on a Global Dynamics project.

MICKEY: I'm a huge fan of both John Updike's novel and the film starring Cher, Jack Nicholson, Michelle Pfeiffer and Susan Sarandon, but after seeing a clip of the show (which features Rebecca Romijn) at the Alphabet's upfront, my first thought was: Is this really necessary?
