Not unlike a stock broker, a forex broker can also makes suggestions about which moves to make when exchanging foreign currency. Some forex brokers even supply technical analysis to some of their clients and offer tips on research to improve their success as forex traders.

Typically in the forex market a forex broker is a banking institution who may buy up large amounts of a certain currency. For years, banks were the only ones who had access to the forex markets. But today with the Internet, any forex trader, who subscribes with a forex broker, can access the market 24 hours a day.

Today, as with stock brokers, the brick and mortar institutions, such as banks, are less of an option for the individual forex trader who works from home, monitoring the news and gaining insight into certain technical information to help with his or her trading decisions.

Choosing a forex broker may depend on your needs. If you are new to the field, there are houses, or online forex brokers who may cater to your needs, providing in-depth research, ample time to demo their product and so on. Other forex brokers are geared toward the experienced online forex trader. They too offer advice, but may be less likely to offer instructional help with the information, assuming that you may already know how it may or may not benefit you when you read it. It is advisable to read about and even run a demo on several different online forex brokers before going with one.

forex, forex trading, trading forex, forex factory, forex rates, free forex, online forex, forex broker, forex signal, forex online, best forex, forex system, forex trade, easy forex, forex market, forex software, trade forex, forex.se, forex forum, forex signals, forex news, forex trader, forex brokers, forex account, online forex trading, forex currency, forex strategy, forex trading online, forex online trading, managed forex, forex charts, forex strategies, forex trading system, forex ea, forex demo, forex exchange, forex training, learn forex, forex trading software, automated forex, forex analysis, forex chart, forex currency trading, forex course, forex platform, forex systems, forex indicators, forex scalping, forex markets, best forex trading, forex day trading, automated forex trading, forex traders, what is forex, forex converter, forex trading strategies, forex calculator, forex blog, forex robots, forex trading platforms, fx forex, best forex broker, cms forex, acm forex, forex investment, forex education, forex trading platform, managed forex account, forex mini, forex tutorial, forex managed accounts, forex trading systems, how to trade forex, forex trading signals, forex demo account, forex options, learn forex trading, forex trading strategy, forex trading course, forex trading account, forex platforms, online forex broker, forex trading training, automatic forex trading, forex trading tips, what is forex trading, forex trading demo, forex trading tutorial, forex trading hours, forex trading forum, forex investing, forex trading brokers, global forex trading, forex information, forex trading education, forex broker reviews, forex trading scams, mini forex trading, managed forex trading, learning forex trading

forex trading hours / Forex Software Packages

Author - Ryan Larson

If you plan to start trading FOREX online you will of course be using a software system. This system will make it easy for you to get information quickly about market prices and make trades. There are two types of FOREX software available, client based and web based.

As the FOREX market is a fast moving market and you will need up to the minute information to make informed transactions, it is up to you to see you have a high speed internet connection. Dial up internet access will absolutely not work for this. Another consideration could be the location of the servers used by your broker. If your broker's servers are located quite a distance from you, say in another country, this could potentially slow down your transmissions. If you plan to trade online you will need a modern computer and high speed internet connection.

The next consideration would be which type of software, client based or web based? Web based software is housed on your brokers website. You will not have to install any software on your own computer. A web based software program will allow you to log in from any computer that has an internet connection. A client based software program, or one that you download into your own computer will limit you to transactions only on the computer it is downloaded on. Web based software programs are preferred by most brokers who think they are more safe and reliable. Web based software tends to be less vulnerable to attack from viruses and hackers during transmissions than client based software.

Any FOREX software should offer you real-time quotes and offer means to quickly enter and exit the market. These are minimal requirements of any trading software. Upgraded software packages are usually offered at an extra monthly fee by brokers.

Generally brokers will have client information housed on two severs kept in two different locations. This is to guarantee client data is kept as safe as possible. If there is a power failure or a problem with one server the data is sent back and forth from the second secure server and you will not notice an interruption. Regular back ups of these servers is another way that brokers keep financial data safe in case of server failure.

forex, forex trading, trading forex, forex factory, forex rates, free forex, online forex, forex broker, forex signal, forex online, best forex, forex system, forex trade, easy forex, forex market, forex software, trade forex, forex.se, forex forum, forex signals, forex news, forex trader, forex brokers, forex account, online forex trading, forex currency, forex strategy, forex trading online, forex online trading, managed forex, forex charts, forex strategies, forex trading system, forex ea, forex demo, forex exchange, forex training, learn forex, forex trading software, automated forex, forex analysis, forex chart, forex currency trading, forex course, forex platform, forex systems, forex indicators, forex scalping, forex markets, best forex trading, forex day trading, automated forex trading, forex traders, what is forex, forex converter, forex trading strategies, forex calculator, forex blog, forex robots, forex trading platforms, fx forex, best forex broker, cms forex, acm forex, forex investment, forex education, forex trading platform, managed forex account, forex mini, forex tutorial, forex managed accounts, forex trading systems, how to trade forex, forex trading signals, forex demo account, forex options, learn forex trading, forex trading strategy, forex trading course, forex trading account, forex platforms, online forex broker, forex trading training, automatic forex trading, forex trading tips, what is forex trading, forex trading demo, forex trading tutorial, forex trading hours, forex trading forum, forex investing, forex trading brokers, global forex trading, forex information, forex trading education, forex broker reviews, forex trading scams, mini forex trading, managed forex trading, learning forex trading

forex software / Forex Trading Platform

Author - Gary Berg

As the name says, the Forex trading platform is a place where you can sell and buy the forex. This can also be called the forex-trading station. All forex trading financial companies, banks, traders and brokers will provide their own trading hub. These currency trading or forex trading hubs use sophisticated software's, which have, can perform various kinds of analysis such as technical and fundamental analysis. They also generate data, which is both numeric, and well as statistical base such as graphs, pies, regression data etc.

In most cases the trading stations or the platforms have real time streaming ticker line. This ticker line is being constantly updated and gives the buy / sell currency rate of major currencies in pairs. Forex dealers or traders also maintain fixed spreads on major currencies across the world, which are constant irrespective of the changing financial markets. Most of the trading stations will provide the following

Real time streaming of the major currencies in pairs.

Pricing which is competitive

Fixed spreads in 3-5 pips

Certainty of price for the currencies in buy and sell position

Another factor in the forex trade is that the more creditworthiness an institution or a forex trader is, the better access they have to market information and competitive pricing. This is then reflected also in the trading sessions that the subscribers and the investors utilize. They would have better access to interbank prices and therefore the cost of the execution for the trade in currencies would be better. The currency trade software's provide the following in most cases

Real time streaming currency pair rates. One can click the suitable boxes provided to confirm the sale or the purchase of the desired currencies.

They allow the linkage to currency margin account, which means that you can have more purchasing power with less of investment.

Immediate confirmation of the sale / purchase of the currencies. Of course the cost would be debited to your account. This is done almost simultaneously and in real time.

These currency trade software will also show you the real time profit / losses that you have made in the currency transactions.

Investors must make sure that when they subscribe to these currency trade software's, they read the terms and conditions as many trades may be subject to regulations and the agreement that may be drawn between the client and the websites / currency trade companies.

There are options provided whereby one can also limit or stop the open orders. These can also be cancelled or modified at a later stage in these forex trades. Reports on all forex and currency transactions can also be generated. These reports can be in the form of monthly / weekly reports. One can print these records or download them for later. There are many combinations and permutations, which are possible. Depending upon forex trading packages that each forex trader or financial company may provide, the forex trading stations may differ in features provided.

forex, forex trading, trading forex, forex factory, forex rates, free forex, online forex, forex broker, forex signal, forex online, best forex, forex system, forex trade, easy forex, forex market, forex software, trade forex, forex.se, forex forum, forex signals, forex news, forex trader, forex brokers, forex account, online forex trading, forex currency, forex strategy, forex trading online, forex online trading, managed forex, forex charts, forex strategies, forex trading system, forex ea, forex demo, forex exchange, forex training, learn forex, forex trading software, automated forex, forex analysis, forex chart, forex currency trading, forex course, forex platform, forex systems, forex indicators, forex scalping, forex markets, best forex trading, forex day trading, automated forex trading, forex traders, what is forex, forex converter, forex trading strategies, forex calculator, forex blog, forex robots, forex trading platforms, fx forex, best forex broker, cms forex, acm forex, forex investment, forex education, forex trading platform, managed forex account, forex mini, forex tutorial, forex managed accounts, forex trading systems, how to trade forex, forex trading signals, forex demo account, forex options, learn forex trading, forex trading strategy, forex trading course, forex trading account, forex platforms, online forex broker, forex trading training, automatic forex trading, forex trading tips, what is forex trading, forex trading demo, forex trading tutorial, forex trading hours, forex trading forum, forex investing, forex trading brokers, global forex trading, forex information, forex trading education, forex broker reviews, forex trading scams, mini forex trading, managed forex trading, learning forex trading

forex trading systems / How To Choose A Forex Broker

Author - Mark Freeman

Most investors who trade Forex stocks use a broker. A broker is an individual or a company, who buys and sells stocks according to the investor's wishes. Brokers earn money by collecting commissions or fees for their services.

You should check that a broker is registered as a Futures Commission Merchant (FCM) with the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) as protection against fraud or abusive trade practices. A Forex broker also needs to be associated with a financial institution, such as a bank in order to provide funds for margin trading. Picking the right Forex broker for you will take some work on your part. There are brokers who charge a flat fee and some that charge commission. It may be a good idea to talk with friends and business associates about their brokers. You may get some good leads, and you're certain to hear who to stay away from. There is nothing like word of mouth advertising.

If you are thinking of investing online, you could choose several online brokers and contact their help desks. Seeing how quickly they respond to your questions could be key in how they will respond to their customers needs. If you don't get a speedy reply and a satisfactory answer to your question you certainly wouldn't want to trust them with your business. Just be aware that as in other types of businesses, pre sales service might be better than after sales service.

Before you choose an online broker get a copy of their online demo account. What features are included? Is the software reliable? Does it offer automatic trading? Are there extra software features that cost more?

Before setting up an account with a Forex broker you will need to do further investigation. How quickly will these brokers execute your buy/sell orders? What is their policy on slippage? What are the transaction fees? What is the spread, fixed or variable? What are the margin requirements and how are they calculated? Does the margin change with currency traded? Is it the same for mini accounts and standard accounts?

Don't forget to ask about minimum account balances and interest payments on account balances. These signals are called entry and exit signals for the forex dealers. The firms, which send this forex signal, do so after tedious and meticulous research and analysis into the currencies that their dealers are trading in. For example a firm may send the entry and exit signals at designated time frames in real time. These will remain valid for a short period only after which they are going to be different.

Let's say that there is a forex trading company say Acme Forex traders who send entry and exit signals to their clients in the following way

The first signal is provided to the trader at 08:30, and this signal is going to remain actual till 12.30

The trader will receive the second signal at 12.30, which would remain actual till 16.30.

The last signal would be sent to the trader at 16.30.

The transactions are given according to GMT. Please adjust for local time changes. The transaction shall be calculated till the signal is actual. The charges would be $300 per month per trader.

Forex dealers and experts provide forex-trading information and data to both institutional clients and individual investors and provide these kind of signals. Investors like to subscribe to credit worthy forex dealers / companies since their information and data would be genuine and more accurate. In fact many forex dealers would kill to get information before the rest of the market gets the same information. As forex dealing is a very competitive business.

These signals or forex indications are given to the forex dealers through the forex trading platform or hub. The signals or forex indicators are the specific entry and exit strategies. Therefore when you enter a currency trade buying currencies at lower price and then selling at higher price, you book a profit. currency pair. For example the forex dealer is trading in GBP/USD. The rate is for GBP/USD is .9800 . If you expect that Euro is likely to go up in the future you would buy the Euros today to sell them off at a later date thereby booking a profit. If you expect the dollars to appreciate, then you would buy the dollars selling them off at a later date to book profits.

Most forex dealers will get the information via email or straight on their computer screens. It is then up to the forex dealers to decide whether they want to sell / buy / hold the currencies till further information is given to them.

Those who contribute in giving the information on currency dealing are hedge managers, foreign exchange dealers located in the major financial markets of the world, professional stock brokers, finance managers and a host of other finance professionals. They make it their business to collect, analyze and disseminate information in such a way, that can be used by forex dealers to buy / sell / hold the forex.

Therefore the companies take extreme care to send the forex signals for the currency dealers.

forex, forex trading, trading forex, forex factory, forex rates, free forex, online forex, forex broker, forex signal, forex online, best forex, forex system, forex trade, easy forex, forex market, forex software, trade forex, forex.se, forex forum, forex signals, forex news, forex trader, forex brokers, forex account, online forex trading, forex currency, forex strategy, forex trading online, forex online trading, managed forex, forex charts, forex strategies, forex trading system, forex ea, forex demo, forex exchange, forex training, learn forex, forex trading software, automated forex, forex analysis, forex chart, forex currency trading, forex course, forex platform, forex systems, forex indicators, forex scalping, forex markets, best forex trading, forex day trading, automated forex trading, forex traders, what is forex, forex converter, forex trading strategies, forex calculator, forex blog, forex robots, forex trading platforms, fx forex, best forex broker, cms forex, acm forex, forex investment, forex education, forex trading platform, managed forex account, forex mini, forex tutorial, forex managed accounts, forex trading systems, how to trade forex, forex trading signals, forex demo account, forex options, learn forex trading, forex trading strategy, forex trading course, forex trading account, forex platforms, online forex broker, forex trading training, automatic forex trading, forex trading tips, what is forex trading, forex trading demo, forex trading tutorial, forex trading hours, forex trading forum, forex investing, forex trading brokers, global forex trading, forex information, forex trading education, forex broker reviews, forex trading scams, mini forex trading, managed forex trading, learning forex trading

best forex broker / Trading Currency Through Online Forex Brokers

Author - Jay Moncliff

Access to foreign exchange (forex), the most extensive market on the planet, is generally through an intermediary known as a forex broker. Similar to a stock broker, these agents can also provide advice on forex trading strategies. This advice to clients often extends to technical analysis and research approaches designed to improve client forex trading performance.

Financial institutions are generally the most influential in the forex market through high-volume, large-value forex currency transactions. Historically, banks enjoyed monopolistic access to the forex markets, but through the Internet, any forex speculator can also enjoy 24 hour access to the market via a forex broker.

Secure web connections today allow many forex traders to work from home, where ready access to news and other technical advice informs decisions on what forex positions to take. Similar moves are being made by stock brokers, who are also moving out of banks and other traditional institutions.

Your needs in the market will influence your choice of forex broker. Online forex brokerage firms, known as houses, provide those new to the forex market with detailed research, advice and simulators to learn how to use their forex trading tools. The experienced online forex trader is catered to by other broking houses, with in-depth advice, but less focus on forex trading instruction based on the assumption that you are familiar with the forex market. To make an informed choice, it is advisable to trial several differing online forex broking houses and their trading tools to find the best fit for your needs.

forex, forex trading, trading forex, forex factory, forex rates, free forex, online forex, forex broker, forex signal, forex online, best forex, forex system, forex trade, easy forex, forex market, forex software, trade forex, forex.se, forex forum, forex signals, forex news, forex trader, forex brokers, forex account, online forex trading, forex currency, forex strategy, forex trading online, forex online trading, managed forex, forex charts, forex strategies, forex trading system, forex ea, forex demo, forex exchange, forex training, learn forex, forex trading software, automated forex, forex analysis, forex chart, forex currency trading, forex course, forex platform, forex systems, forex indicators, forex scalping, forex markets, best forex trading, forex day trading, automated forex trading, forex traders, what is forex, forex converter, forex trading strategies, forex calculator, forex blog, forex robots, forex trading platforms, fx forex, best forex broker, cms forex, acm forex, forex investment, forex education, forex trading platform, managed forex account, forex mini, forex tutorial, forex managed accounts, forex trading systems, how to trade forex, forex trading signals, forex demo account, forex options, learn forex trading, forex trading strategy, forex trading course, forex trading account, forex platforms, online forex broker, forex trading training, automatic forex trading, forex trading tips, what is forex trading, forex trading demo, forex trading tutorial, forex trading hours, forex trading forum, forex investing, forex trading brokers, global forex trading, forex information, forex trading education, forex broker reviews, forex trading scams, mini forex trading, managed forex trading, learning forex trading

forex managed accounts / Avoiding Forex-Related Frauds and Scams

Author - Marquez Comelab

A lot of people have been 'burnt' from scam operations on the Internet. Their sites may look so perfectly legitimate that you doubt whether they would have gone through all that trouble building a trading platform just to steal your money. Beware.

The first thing I look for is the geographical location of the broker. If I find that they are based in a country where the financial industry is, in my opinion, relatively unregulated and under-developed, I quickly forgo signing up. This is terrible news for honest brokers in those countries, but your job as a trader is to protect your capital. If you lose that, then you cannot trade. The onus is on them to convince you that they will do the right thing by you as an investor.

I started out with an Australian broker. Currently I am using an American one. I have not tried UK-based brokers but the British financial industry is one of the best. Companies that are based in countries such as Japan , Germany and France are probably just as good too, if their website speaks your language.

Notice any license numbers that they may have registered with regulatory bodies that act like government watchdogs who oversee the finance and investments industries. These are organisations that impose strict rules to safeguard your investment. Some of these rules may include the requirement that brokers segregate all customer funds from the operational funds of the business. Your money is required to be put in highly-reputable banks and the funds are only withdrawn from these accounts upon specific withdrawal requests.

Take note that there are some fake regulatory bodies being thrown around in cyber-space as well. Take a look at how long they have been operating for. Try and search out any reviews or comments made about them. See if you can find forums where traders have discussions about their brokers.

Below is a list of things to keep in mind to help you avoid being a victim of a scam:

Stay Away From Opportunities That Sound Too Good To Be True

There are people who may have just acquired a large amount of money just and recently are the same and are shopping around for safe investment vehicles. These may include retirees who have access to their retirement funds. It is understandable why retirees would be drawn to 'high-return, low-risk investments'. This is also what makes them very vulnerable. If you identify yourself to be one of these people, be careful. A lot of deceitful characters are after your money. Furthermore, only allocate a tiny amount of your money to trading until you can start growing it. Not all people can trade successfully, so it is a venture you should take on haphazardly. It is your life savings at risk.

Avoid Individuals Or Organizations Who Claim To Predict Or Guarantee Large Profits

Any form of trading is hard. Trading currencies is no different. Be wary of statements that make it sound easy. Statements like:

"Whether the market moves up or down, in the currency market you will make a profit";

"Make $1000 per week, every week";

"We are out-performing 90% of domestic investments";

"You'll make returns of 70% a year";

"Here is a no-risk strategy".

If they could make such returns, why would they even bother letting you know about it.

Be Wary Of Companies Who Downplay Investment Risks

Hold your wallet tight and zip up your purse when companies say that written risk disclosure agreements are routine formalities imposed by the government. Watch out for statements like:

"With a $10,000 deposit, the maximum you can lose is $200 to $250 per day";

" We promise to recover any losses you have ".

Be Wary Of Companies That Claim To Trade In The 'Interbank Market'

Do not believe it when some people say that they have access to the 'Interbank market' or that they can give you access to trade in that market because that's where bargain prices can be obtained. This is not true. The 'interbank market' is not a place, it is not a physical building. It is simply a loose network of currency transactions that are negotiated between big financial institutions and other large companies.

Ethnic Minorities Are Often Targeted

Ethnic newspapers and television 'infomercials' are sometimes used to attract Russian, Chinese and Indian minorities. Sometimes these ads offer so-called 'job opportunities for account executives to trade foreign currencies', whereby the recruited 'account executive' is expected to use his own money to trade currencies and would often times be encouraged to recruit members like their friends and family to do the same.

Seek Out The Company's Background

Check any information you receive to be sure that the company is who they claim to be. If at all possible, try and get the background of the people operating the company. Do not rely solely on oral statements and promises made by the company's employees.

If You Are In Doubt, It Is Not Worth Risking Your Money

If after trying to solicit information and at the end of it all, you are still in doubt about the credentials of a particular company, my suggestion is to start looking elsewhere.

You may find further information by contacting government 'watchdogs' because they keep up to date with trends and reports regarding scams and other fraudulent activities. Please check the resource section of this site for the information of organizations that regulate the securities industry, sorted by country. There is also a list of brokers that you may want to look at.

This is an excerpt, modified from the book: The Part-Time Currency Trader.

forex, forex trading, trading forex, forex factory, forex rates, free forex, online forex, forex broker, forex signal, forex online, best forex, forex system, forex trade, easy forex, forex market, forex software, trade forex, forex.se, forex forum, forex signals, forex news, forex trader, forex brokers, forex account, online forex trading, forex currency, forex strategy, forex trading online, forex online trading, managed forex, forex charts, forex strategies, forex trading system, forex ea, forex demo, forex exchange, forex training, learn forex, forex trading software, automated forex, forex analysis, forex chart, forex currency trading, forex course, forex platform, forex systems, forex indicators, forex scalping, forex markets, best forex trading, forex day trading, automated forex trading, forex traders, what is forex, forex converter, forex trading strategies, forex calculator, forex blog, forex robots, forex trading platforms, fx forex, best forex broker, cms forex, acm forex, forex investment, forex education, forex trading platform, managed forex account, forex mini, forex tutorial, forex managed accounts, forex trading systems, how to trade forex, forex trading signals, forex demo account, forex options, learn forex trading, forex trading strategy, forex trading course, forex trading account, forex platforms, online forex broker, forex trading training, automatic forex trading, forex trading tips, what is forex trading, forex trading demo, forex trading tutorial, forex trading hours, forex trading forum, forex investing, forex trading brokers, global forex trading, forex information, forex trading education, forex broker reviews, forex trading scams, mini forex trading, managed forex trading, learning forex trading

cms forex / Is It Possible to Trade Forex on a Part-Time Basis with Success?

Author - Carl Hayes

Currency trading is an exciting new market for ambitious individuals who would like to test their skills in a truly competitive environment with potentially very significant rewards. It is not simple to become proficient in forex, you need to commit some time, and make some effort in learning about and practicing trading, before you achieve results that are favorable to any degree. This fact sometimes scares potential traders to such an extent that they choose not to entertain the idea of currency trading at all, due to time limits, and the constraints of offline life. In this article, we are going to take a look at the plausibility of a part-time forex trading experience for the average person.

Perhaps the most exciting feature of the forex trading experience is the almost unlimited degree of flexibility involved. The fractal nature of charts means that, ignoring broker costs, trading at long or short term is essentially the same business from the technical point of view. The fundamental point of view, on the other hand, implies that it is possible to apply entirely different methods as a long or short term trader.

Thus one can be a part-time forex trader on both a long term and a short term basis, but with different options available, and differing approaches being necessary. A part-time short term trader must follow a purely technical approach and apply money management methods with rigor and discipline. In this case the time of entry does not matter that much, but we strongly advise that periods of high volatility be avoided unless one has an ample amount of time available to be devoted to the absorbtion of the steady stream of news flooding the market. As such, the part time trader would probably thrive when the market is calmer, trading is subdued, and technical factors dominate, a scenario that is most often encountered towards the closing hours of the market.

A long term part-time trader, on the other hand, must choose the time for entry into the market very carefully. Since a position held on the long term requires strong conviction and analysis, it is crucial that a period of deep and thorough analysis precede the actual trading action. The advantage of fundamental, long-term trading is in its greater potential for very significant rewards, and also for reduced risk, contrary to common assumptions. A long trader must use low leverage since he is going to keep his position dormant for a long time, and to have it survive volatility, high or even moderately high leverage has to be avoided, which makes potential losses smaller, provided that clear criteria exist for the closing of a position.

It is not really possible to decide which firm is more suitable to a part-time trading experience merely by reading online forex broker reviews and going through ratings. You need to go and test the firm actively for a period. The part-time trader demands a high degree of accuracy and reliability from the broker because he can't afford to see his trading platform fail during the comparatively infrequent periods when he's online. So make your choices wisely; but part-time trading is indeed a workable approach with some practice.

forex, forex trading, trading forex, forex factory, forex rates, free forex, online forex, forex broker, forex signal, forex online, best forex, forex system, forex trade, easy forex, forex market, forex software, trade forex, forex.se, forex forum, forex signals, forex news, forex trader, forex brokers, forex account, online forex trading, forex currency, forex strategy, forex trading online, forex online trading, managed forex, forex charts, forex strategies, forex trading system, forex ea, forex demo, forex exchange, forex training, learn forex, forex trading software, automated forex, forex analysis, forex chart, forex currency trading, forex course, forex platform, forex systems, forex indicators, forex scalping, forex markets, best forex trading, forex day trading, automated forex trading, forex traders, what is forex, forex converter, forex trading strategies, forex calculator, forex blog, forex robots, forex trading platforms, fx forex, best forex broker, cms forex, acm forex, forex investment, forex education, forex trading platform, managed forex account, forex mini, forex tutorial, forex managed accounts, forex trading systems, how to trade forex, forex trading signals, forex demo account, forex options, learn forex trading, forex trading strategy, forex trading course, forex trading account, forex platforms, online forex broker, forex trading training, automatic forex trading, forex trading tips, what is forex trading, forex trading demo, forex trading tutorial, forex trading hours, forex trading forum, forex investing, forex trading brokers, global forex trading, forex information, forex trading education, forex broker reviews, forex trading scams, mini forex trading, managed forex trading, learning forex trading

forex demo account / Trade Forex or Invest in Real Estate?

Author - Marquez Comelab

Most people who want to establish a financially-secure future choose to invest or trade in real estate. Indeed, if you take a look at the list of names of the wealthiest people in any category, most of them have allocated major portions of their assets in real estate. Donald Trump, who made his fortune in real estate is very popular and his success story is an inspiration to all of us.

Books like Rich Dad, Poor Dad , by Robert Kiyosaki and other property investing books written in the last fifteen years, introduced the average person to real estate investing. Thanks to these books, many people have opened their minds to new possibilities which they can now envision for themselves.

This article will not dispute the validity and the wisdom of investing in real estate. However, it might not be the best option for everybody. Each of us has different limitations and our circumstances vary. At the start -- for most of us -- we have to choose which area to specialise in since there is only so much money to go around. What I can do, is to at least highlight a few aspects of trading and investing in both areas. I then leave it to you to decide what you would like to focus on.

I should let you know that I have not yet invested in real estate myself, but I have considered it and I have asked myself the same questions you might be asking yourself now. I have read a lot on the subject matter and my assessment is purely based from my readings. Individuals using real-estate as their vehicle to create wealth may have different perspectives and I strongly advise you to seek their counsel to gain a more balanced outlook on this issue.

PASSIVE INCOME OR CAPITAL GAINS

If you like the idea of buying property to receive rent revenue, then the real estate market maybe better for you. You can structure your properties and contractual agreements to maximise the passive income you get from your tenants.

However, if you prefer to buy a property mainly because you think you can resell it at a higher price later, then you want to make money mainly from capital gains. If this is your philosophy, then forex could be a better trading vehicle for you than real estate because exchange rates fluctuate faster than real estate prices. Furthermore, transactions are easier and they are instantaneous to complete.

CAPITAL

To buy real estate, you need have at least 10% of the acquisition cost of the property, if your bank is willing to lend you the other 90%. If the house costs $350,000, you will need to cough up $35,000. That is a year's gross income for many people.

If you want to start trading forex, most brokers allow you to open a trading account for just $200. With $50, you can trade 10,000 units of a currency, if you have a margin ratio of 200:1.

LIQUIDITY

Whenever you want to buy or sell currencies, there is always someone willing to buy from - or sell to - you at the most competitive price. The forex market is the biggest market in the world and if you have hundreds of thousands of dollars you want to exchange for another currency, you can do so within a couple of seconds. To buy or sell a house or an apartment, you expect to wait for weeks, if not months.

PRODUCT HOMOGENEITY

In the real estate market, one house is not the same as another. Each property is unique. One might have a better foundation, a worse design or a prettier garden than another. Knowledge of these strengths and weaknesses become a significant factor if you are to make money from a transaction. Therefore, if you enjoy or if you are good at selling, promoting, negotiating and bargaining based on these differences, the real estate market is for you. Further, your lawyers, accountants, advisers, real estate agents and consultants play a significant role in your success.

If you want to trade currencies, there is no need to negotiate the price with the other party. If you are a seller, there is no need to educate potential buyers as to the benefits of your product. If you are buying, you have piece of mind that you are getting the best possible price for the currency from your broker at that particular point in time.

TRANSACTION COSTS

Buying and selling real estate is much more expensive than buying and selling currencies.

'SHORTING' MARKETS

When you have a property and you suspect that its price will go down in the future, your options are limited: hang on to the property or sell it now. In forex, if you suspect that a particular currency will depreciate in value, then you can exchange it for another currency. You buy it back again after it has already reduced in value to realise your gain.

MEDIATED TRANSACTIONS

In real estate you are dealing directly with the other party, taking on the other side of the transaction. This is why you need to go through a lot of paperwork and consult your lawyers to ensure that you know about the options available to you when the other party fails to fulfil his or her end of the bargain.

In forex, you do not have to worry about whether a buyer or a seller is going to fulfil his or her end of the bargain for whatever reason, because you are not directly dealing with that particular person. You are dealing with the broker who ensures that somebody will always take the other side of your trade.

CONVENIENCE

The forex market is open 24 hours a day. You do not have to meet the buyers or sellers in person. You do not have to conduct meetings with lawyers, accountant, bank representatives and so on. You can buy and sell currencies in your pyjamas at midnight if you like and the transaction will be complete before you go back to bed.

CONCLUSION

All in all, if you are an investor looking to make money from a combination of rent revenue and capital gains, you may want to invest in real estate for the long-term. If you are a trader wanting to profit purely on capital gains, then trading forex is probably better for you than trading real estate because you can start with a small fund and your rate of return is limited only by your ability to trade well. The transactions are mediated, it is more convenient and transaction costs are a lot smaller. The market is also more efficient due to product homogeneity and liquidity. Lastly, there are opportunities to profit regardless if the prices are going up or down

forex, forex trading, trading forex, forex factory, forex rates, free forex, online forex, forex broker, forex signal, forex online, best forex, forex system, forex trade, easy forex, forex market, forex software, trade forex, forex.se, forex forum, forex signals, forex news, forex trader, forex brokers, forex account, online forex trading, forex currency, forex strategy, forex trading online, forex online trading, managed forex, forex charts, forex strategies, forex trading system, forex ea, forex demo, forex exchange, forex training, learn forex, forex trading software, automated forex, forex analysis, forex chart, forex currency trading, forex course, forex platform, forex systems, forex indicators, forex scalping, forex markets, best forex trading, forex day trading, automated forex trading, forex traders, what is forex, forex converter, forex trading strategies, forex calculator, forex blog, forex robots, forex trading platforms, fx forex, best forex broker, cms forex, acm forex, forex investment, forex education, forex trading platform, managed forex account, forex mini, forex tutorial, forex managed accounts, forex trading systems, how to trade forex, forex trading signals, forex demo account, forex options, learn forex trading, forex trading strategy, forex trading course, forex trading account, forex platforms, online forex broker, forex trading training, automatic forex trading, forex trading tips, what is forex trading, forex trading demo, forex trading tutorial, forex trading hours, forex trading forum, forex investing, forex trading brokers, global forex trading, forex information, forex trading education, forex broker reviews, forex trading scams, mini forex trading, managed forex trading, learning forex trading

forex demo / Introduction To Forex

Author - Norman Fleming

The Foreign Exchange Market — better known as Forex — is a world wide market for buying and selling currencies. It handles a huge volume of transactions 24 hours a day, 5 days a week. Daily exchanges are worth approximately $1.5 trillion (US dollars). In comparison, the United States Treasury Bond market averages $300 billion a day and American stock markets exchange about $100 billion a day.

The Foreign Exchange Market was established in 1971 with the abolishment of fixed currency exchanges. Currencies became valued at 'floating' rates determined by supply and demand. The Forex grew steadily throughout the 1970's, but with the technological advances of the 80's Forex grew from trading levels of $70 billion a day to the current level of $1.5 trillion.

The Forex is made up of about 5000 trading institutions such as international banks, central government banks (such as the US Federal Reserve), and commercial companies and brokers for all types of foreign currency exchange. There is no centralized location of Forex — major trading centers are located in New York, Tokyo, London, Hong Kong, Singapore, Paris, and Frankfurt, and all trading is by telephone or over the Internet. Businesses use the market to buy and sell products in other countries, but most of the activity on the Forex is from currency traders who use it to generate profits from small movements in the market.

Even though there are many huge players in Forex, it is accessible to the small investor thanks to recent changes in the regulations. Previously, there was a minimum transaction size and traders were required to meet strict financial requirements. With the advent of Internet trading, regulations have been changed to allow large interbank units to be broken down into smaller lots. Each lot is worth about $100,000 and is accessible to the individual investor through 'leverage' — loans extended for trading. Typically, lots can be controlled with a leverage of 100:1 meaning that US$1,000 will allow you to control a $100,000 currency exchange.

There are many advantages to trading in Forex.

— Liquidity — Because of the size of the Foreign Exchange Market, investments are extremely liquid. International banks are continuously providing bid and ask offers and the high number of transactions each day means there is always a buyer or a seller for any currency.

— Accessibility — The market is open 24 hours a day, 5 days a week. The market opens Monday morning Australian time and closes Friday afternoon New York time. Trades can be done on the Internet from your home or office.

— Open Market — Currency fluctuations are usually caused by changes in national economies. News about these changes is accessible to everyone at the same time — there can be no 'insider trading' in Forex.

— No commission — Brokers earn money by setting a 'spread' — the difference between what a currency can be bought at and what it can be sold at.

How does it work?

Currencies are always traded in pairs — the US dollar against the Japanese yen, or the English pound against the euro. Every transaction involves selling one currency and buying another, so if an investor believes the euro will gain against the dollar, he will sell dollars and buy euros.

The potential for profit exists because there is always movement between currencies. Even small changes can result in substantial profits because of the large amount of money involved in each transaction. At the same time, it can be a relatively safe market for the individual investor. There are safeguards built in to protect both the broker and the investor and a number of software tools exist to minimize loss.

forex, forex trading, trading forex, forex factory, forex rates, free forex, online forex, forex broker, forex signal, forex online, best forex, forex system, forex trade, easy forex, forex market, forex software, trade forex, forex.se, forex forum, forex signals, forex news, forex trader, forex brokers, forex account, online forex trading, forex currency, forex strategy, forex trading online, forex online trading, managed forex, forex charts, forex strategies, forex trading system, forex ea, forex demo, forex exchange, forex training, learn forex, forex trading software, automated forex, forex analysis, forex chart, forex currency trading, forex course, forex platform, forex systems, forex indicators, forex scalping, forex markets, best forex trading, forex day trading, automated forex trading, forex traders, what is forex, forex converter, forex trading strategies, forex calculator, forex blog, forex robots, forex trading platforms, fx forex, best forex broker, cms forex, acm forex, forex investment, forex education, forex trading platform, managed forex account, forex mini, forex tutorial, forex managed accounts, forex trading systems, how to trade forex, forex trading signals, forex demo account, forex options, learn forex trading, forex trading strategy, forex trading course, forex trading account, forex platforms, online forex broker, forex trading training, automatic forex trading, forex trading tips, what is forex trading, forex trading demo, forex trading tutorial, forex trading hours, forex trading forum, forex investing, forex trading brokers, global forex trading, forex information, forex trading education, forex broker reviews, forex trading scams, mini forex trading, managed forex trading, learning forex trading

acm forex / How To Get Started In Forex Trading

Author - Hana Lee

You may have been hearing about the foreign exchange market (Forex) and the investment advantages it offers. You would like to try it out, but don't know where to start. This short guide will give you the basics in Forex and tell you what you need to participate in this fast growing field.

Foreign exchange used to be limited to large players such as national banks and multi-national corporations. In the 1980's the rules were revised to allow smaller investors to participate using margin accounts. Margin accounts are the reason why Forex trading has become so popular. With a 100:1 margin account, you can control $100,000 with a $1,000 investment.

Forex is not simple, however, and education is needed to make wise investment decisions. Although it is relatively easy to start trading on the Forex, there are risks involved, so finding out as much as possible about the market is a good move for any beginner.

Forex traders usually require a broker to handle transactions. Most brokers are reputable and are associated with large financial institutions such as banks. A reputable broker will be registered as a Futures Commission Merchant (FCM) with the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) as protection against fraud and abusive trade practices.

Opening a Forex account is as simple as filling out a form and providing the necessary ID. The form will include a margin agreement that states that the broker can interfere with any trade it deems to be too risky. This is to protect the interests of the broker — most trades, after all, are done using the broker's money. Once your account has been established, you can fund it and begin trading.

Many brokers have different types of accounts to suit the needs of individual investors. Mini accounts allow you to get involved in Forex trading for as little as $250, while standard accounts may have a minimum deposit of $1000 to $2500 depending on the broker. The amount of leverage — using borrowed money — varies with accounts. High leverage gives you more money to trade for a given investment.

HOWEVER — beginner traders are advised get accustomed to Forex by doing paper trades for a period of time. Paper trades are practice transactions that don't involve real capital. They allow you to see how the system works while learning how to use the various software tools that are at provided by most Forex brokers.

Most online brokers have demo accounts that allow you to make free paper trades for up to 30 days. Every new Forex investor is strongly advised to use these demo accounts at least until they are showing consistently steady profits.

Each broker has their own set of software tools to aid in making transactions, but there are a few tools that are common to all Forex brokers. Real time quotes, news feeds, technical analyses and charts, and profit and loss analyses are some of the features you should expect to see on most online brokers' web sites.

Almost every broker operates on the Internet. To access their online services you should have a reasonably modern computer, a fast Internet connection, and an up-to-date operating system such as Windows XP. Once your account is set up, you can access it from any computer — just enter your account name and password. If for some reason you are not able get access to a computer, most brokers will allow you to make trades over the phone.

Trades are commission free, meaning that you can make many trades in one day without worrying about incurring high brokerage fees. Brokers make their money on the 'spread' — the difference between bid and ask prices.

forex, forex trading, trading forex, forex factory, forex rates, free forex, online forex, forex broker, forex signal, forex online, best forex, forex system, forex trade, easy forex, forex market, forex software, trade forex, forex.se, forex forum, forex signals, forex news, forex trader, forex brokers, forex account, online forex trading, forex currency, forex strategy, forex trading online, forex online trading, managed forex, forex charts, forex strategies, forex trading system, forex ea, forex demo, forex exchange, forex training, learn forex, forex trading software, automated forex, forex analysis, forex chart, forex currency trading, forex course, forex platform, forex systems, forex indicators, forex scalping, forex markets, best forex trading, forex day trading, automated forex trading, forex traders, what is forex, forex converter, forex trading strategies, forex calculator, forex blog, forex robots, forex trading platforms, fx forex, best forex broker, cms forex, acm forex, forex investment, forex education, forex trading platform, managed forex account, forex mini, forex tutorial, forex managed accounts, forex trading systems, how to trade forex, forex trading signals, forex demo account, forex options, learn forex trading, forex trading strategy, forex trading course, forex trading account, forex platforms, online forex broker, forex trading training, automatic forex trading, forex trading tips, what is forex trading, forex trading demo, forex trading tutorial, forex trading hours, forex trading forum, forex investing, forex trading brokers, global forex trading, forex information, forex trading education, forex broker reviews, forex trading scams, mini forex trading, managed forex trading, learning forex trading

forex trading account / Reality of Online Forex Trading

Author - David Jones

Foreign exchange trading is the trading of currencies. Most currencies can be traded. Huge amounts of currencies are traded 24 hours a day, 5 days a week. On average $1.9 trillion is traded a day. The most traded are United States Dollar, Japanese Yen, Euro, Canadian Dollar, British Pound Sterling, Australian Dollar and Swiss Franc.

Many brokers will let you open an account with a starting balance of just $250. Though that may seem small, remember you will be trading on margin. Your $250 investment may let you control $25,000. As with all investments there are risks so make sure you take the time to study the markets and your exposure before making your first trades. I highly recommend that you do some paper trades first to make sure you have understood how the markets work. No risk training, just write down the trades you would have done for real and chart the prices. Buy and sell and see if you have the right strategy before making real trades.

A fast internet connection will allow you to do forex trading online. Your broker will give you many online tools to allow you to study the markets: Real time quotes, news feeds:

Visit different broker's websites and compare the services they offer. Some brokers give you the possibility to open demo accounts. Do so, to test their software and find the one you like best.

Before you start trading make sure that you have learnt the terminology: Market Order, Limit Order, Stop Order. You may find the definitions of these terms and more information at http://www.forex.value-guides.com/calc-forex.html Calculating Forex Profits And Losses.

All currencies have standard identifying code used worldwide, some examples are: EUR (European euros), GBP (United Kingdom pounds), AUD (Australian dollars). Of course you don't have to know them all but it may be good to be able to recognize all the major currencies codes so that you will be able to make quick decisions.

To make sound evaluations, you need information. Follow carefully the world's current events, economic and political news. You will be surprised to see how, what may seem to you as insignificant will cause the currencies markets to fluctuate wildly.

forex, forex trading, trading forex, forex factory, forex rates, free forex, online forex, forex broker, forex signal, forex online, best forex, forex system, forex trade, easy forex, forex market, forex software, trade forex, forex.se, forex forum, forex signals, forex news, forex trader, forex brokers, forex account, online forex trading, forex currency, forex strategy, forex trading online, forex online trading, managed forex, forex charts, forex strategies, forex trading system, forex ea, forex demo, forex exchange, forex training, learn forex, forex trading software, automated forex, forex analysis, forex chart, forex currency trading, forex course, forex platform, forex systems, forex indicators, forex scalping, forex markets, best forex trading, forex day trading, automated forex trading, forex traders, what is forex, forex converter, forex trading strategies, forex calculator, forex blog, forex robots, forex trading platforms, fx forex, best forex broker, cms forex, acm forex, forex investment, forex education, forex trading platform, managed forex account, forex mini, forex tutorial, forex managed accounts, forex trading systems, how to trade forex, forex trading signals, forex demo account, forex options, learn forex trading, forex trading strategy, forex trading course, forex trading account, forex platforms, online forex broker, forex trading training, automatic forex trading, forex trading tips, what is forex trading, forex trading demo, forex trading tutorial, forex trading hours, forex trading forum, forex investing, forex trading brokers, global forex trading, forex information, forex trading education, forex broker reviews, forex trading scams, mini forex trading, managed forex trading, learning forex trading

forex trading demo / Internet Marketing VS Forex Currency Trading

Author - Amin Sadak

Have you noticed that when someone's trying to sell you something — such as a system for making money — they always make it look far easier than it is?

Let's look at two Internet businesses, almost as diametrically opposed as it's possible to be — Internet Marketing and Forex Currency Trading.

You've probably heard the old Internet adage — build a better website and they will come. Well it ain't true!

You could put up a site advertising dollars for a dime and they still wouldn't come — because they wouldn't know where to look!

Let's look at what you need to have in place in order to build a successful Internet marketing business.

First of all, you need a product. If you've been reading the recent Internet marketing blurb you'll know you need a niche product.

Actually, the new thing is sub-niche but whatever they call it, you need a product for which there is high demand but low supply.

Finding a suitable niche is the hardest part of the whole process but let's say you have a killer product, what else do you need?

The List.

Ask any Internet marketeer and they will say that the most important part of your business is your opt-in list.

For people to join your list you usually have to give them something of value such as a free eBook or report on a subject related to your main product line.

To keep them interested, you need to keep in touch with them offering them additional information, advice and tips.

Website.

To promote your opt-in list you need a website (although there are other ways of promoting your list, too) with features that will encourage people to sign up to your list.

You also need a killer website with killer copy to describe — and sell — your killer product. This may or may not be the same as the one you use for your opt-in list.

Killer copy.

Maybe you're not a good copywriter. There are many eBooks on the subject that can help you or you can pay someone to write copy for you.

You need a domain name, preferably one with some relation to the product but good domain names are becoming increasing difficult to find.

Ads.

To get people to visit your website in the first place you need to register it with the search engines.

SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) is an art in itself. You can mug up on the subject or pay someone to do the job for you (but be aware that not all experts are!).

You might also want to place ads for your list in newsletters and ezines. The better ones will charge you although you might get a free ad in return for an article.

Autoresponder.

To automate your business you need an autoresponder. These clever devices automatically send emails to everyone on your opt-in list at predetermined intervals, and contain predetermined copy.

For example, you could create a series of emails containing, say, five parts of a free course to be sent one a day over the first five days.

Then emails would be sent once a week advertising a different product each time.

Whenever anyone signs up to your list they automatically start at the beginning so everyone gets the full cycle of marketing material.

We haven't even looked at affiliate sales and marketing but I'm sure you get the picture.

The basic idea of selling over the Internet sounds good but there's a lot more to it than most people realise.

Forex Currency Trading

Someone said that trading is the last frontier, the last place where men and women can stand up and pit themselves against the world.

It sounds very Wild Westish but most of it is true! You win or lose entirely by your own efforts and if you win, it's like having your very own bank.

However, even owning a bank is a business and you still have to work hard to put the money there — and to keep it!

Unlike Internet marketing where all your efforts, in one form or another, are geared towards making people join your list and then selling them stuff,

Currency Trading has no customers. That's worth repeating — with currency trading, you don't need customers.

No customers means you don't need any of the associated accoutrements that go with Internet marketing such as:

Products
Web site
Domain name
Opt-in list
Ads
eBooks and reports
Autoresponder
Any other marketing aids

So far so good, but what do you have to do and what do you need? Well, you need to know what currency prices are doing.

You can get a list of prices at the close of each trading day free from many web sites. If you want to trade during the day — intraday trading, you can get real-time prices for a nominal fee from several data suppliers.

In the foreign exchange currency market, commonly called forex, you can get this data and charting software free from many web sites.

Okay, that's the easy bit. In order to trade currencies, you need to analyse the data and determine which way price is heading.

In other words you need a system and this will require study and dedication.

There's lots of other stuff you have to know, too — trading terminology, margin, leverage, money management, order types, trader psychology and more.

But all of this is available in eBooks and courses and on the Net.

You also need some money upfront to fund your trading account. With forex you can begin with as little as $300-500 although you would be advised to start with more.

So while you don't have the ongoing quest for new customers, new products and inventive sales techniques, you do need some sort of education or training before you begin and you need discipline while you're trading.

For more information on getting started with forex currency trading, go to: www.webkept.com

Making money takes work whether it's online or off. Make sure you know what's involved before you start and remember that the more you put into a business, the easier it gets.

forex, forex trading, trading forex, forex factory, forex rates, free forex, online forex, forex broker, forex signal, forex online, best forex, forex system, forex trade, easy forex, forex market, forex software, trade forex, forex.se, forex forum, forex signals, forex news, forex trader, forex brokers, forex account, online forex trading, forex currency, forex strategy, forex trading online, forex online trading, managed forex, forex charts, forex strategies, forex trading system, forex ea, forex demo, forex exchange, forex training, learn forex, forex trading software, automated forex, forex analysis, forex chart, forex currency trading, forex course, forex platform, forex systems, forex indicators, forex scalping, forex markets, best forex trading, forex day trading, automated forex trading, forex traders, what is forex, forex converter, forex trading strategies, forex calculator, forex blog, forex robots, forex trading platforms, fx forex, best forex broker, cms forex, acm forex, forex investment, forex education, forex trading platform, managed forex account, forex mini, forex tutorial, forex managed accounts, forex trading systems, how to trade forex, forex trading signals, forex demo account, forex options, learn forex trading, forex trading strategy, forex trading course, forex trading account, forex platforms, online forex broker, forex trading training, automatic forex trading, forex trading tips, what is forex trading, forex trading demo, forex trading tutorial, forex trading hours, forex trading forum, forex investing, forex trading brokers, global forex trading, forex information, forex trading education, forex broker reviews, forex trading scams, mini forex trading, managed forex trading, learning forex trading

forex trading platforms / Forex Made Easy for Everyone

Author - Brian Kolewe

Forex made easy is as simple as you would want it to be. The foreign exchange market is a worldwide market and according to some estimates is almost as big as thirty times the turnover of the US Equity markets. That is some figure to chew on. Forex is the commonly used term for foreign exchange. As a person who wants to invest in the forex market, one should understand the basics of how this currency market operates. Forex can be made easier for beginners to understand it and here's how.

Foreign exchange is the buying and the selling of foreign exchange in pairs of currencies. For example you buy US dollars and sell UK Sterling pounds or you sell German Marks and buy Japanese Yen. Why are currencies bought or sold? The answer is simple; Governments and Companies need foreign exchange for their purchase and payments for various commodities and services. This trade constitutes about 5% of all currency transactions, however the other 95% currency transactions are done for speculation and trade. In fact many companies will buy foreign currency when it is being traded at a lower rate to protect their financial investments. Another thing about foreign exchange market is that the rates are varying continuously and on daily basis. Therefore investors and financial managers track the forex rates and the forex market it on a daily basis.

Those who are involved in the forex trade know that almost 85% of the trading is done in only US Dollar, Japanese Yen, Euro, British Pound, Swiss Franc, Canadian Dollar and Australian Dollar. This is because they are the most liquid of foreign currencies (can be easily bought and sold. In fact the US Dollar is most recognizable foreign currency even in countries like Afghanistan, Iraq, Vietnam etc).

Being a truly 24/7 market, the currency trading markets opens in the financial centers of Sydney, Tokyo, London and New York in that sequence. Investors and speculators alike respond to the ever-changing situations and can buy and sell simultaneously the currencies. In fact many operate in two or more currency market using arbitrage to gain profits (buying in one market and selling in another market or vice versa to take advantage of the prices and book profits).

While dealing in forex, one should have a margin account. Quite simply put if you have US$ 1,000 and have a forex margin account which leverages 100:1 then you can buy US$ 100,000 since you only need 1% of the US$100,000 or US$1,000. Therefore it means that with margin account you have US$ 100,000 worth of real purchasing power in your hand.

Since the foreign currency market is fluctuating on a continuous basis, one should be able to understand the factors that affect this currency market. This is done through Technical Analysis and Fundamental Analysis. These two tools of trade are used in a variety of other markets such as equity markets, stock markets, mutual funds markets etc. Technical Analysis refers to reading, summarizing and analyzing data based on the data that is generated by the market. While fundamental Analysis refers to the factors, which influence the market economy, and in turn how it would affect the currency trading. Of course there are other economic and non economic factors which can suddenly affect the trading of the forex markets such as the 9/11 tragedy etc. One needs to have a shrewd acumen and a few number crunching abilities to strike gold in the forex market.

forex, forex trading, trading forex, forex factory, forex rates, free forex, online forex, forex broker, forex signal, forex online, best forex, forex system, forex trade, easy forex, forex market, forex software, trade forex, forex.se, forex forum, forex signals, forex news, forex trader, forex brokers, forex account, online forex trading, forex currency, forex strategy, forex trading online, forex online trading, managed forex, forex charts, forex strategies, forex trading system, forex ea, forex demo, forex exchange, forex training, learn forex, forex trading software, automated forex, forex analysis, forex chart, forex currency trading, forex course, forex platform, forex systems, forex indicators, forex scalping, forex markets, best forex trading, forex day trading, automated forex trading, forex traders, what is forex, forex converter, forex trading strategies, forex calculator, forex blog, forex robots, forex trading platforms, fx forex, best forex broker, cms forex, acm forex, forex investment, forex education, forex trading platform, managed forex account, forex mini, forex tutorial, forex managed accounts, forex trading systems, how to trade forex, forex trading signals, forex demo account, forex options, learn forex trading, forex trading strategy, forex trading course, forex trading account, forex platforms, online forex broker, forex trading training, automatic forex trading, forex trading tips, what is forex trading, forex trading demo, forex trading tutorial, forex trading hours, forex trading forum, forex investing, forex trading brokers, global forex trading, forex information, forex trading education, forex broker reviews, forex trading scams, mini forex trading, managed forex trading, learning forex trading

forex investing / Forex Trading — Opportunities for Individuals

Author - Anthony Trister

Forex Trading-How Can Individual Investors Benefit?

Indeed large multinational and individual banks and other major financial institutions have dominated FX trading (also known as Forex trading), but there is a paradigm change in the nature and type of investing. According to one estimate, in the new millennium, there are over 6 million online investment accounts, up from 1.5 million in 1997. As a result, start-up firms now compete directly with financial institutions to serve investors in the new technologically driven economy, and the clear winner is the customer. The competition between the brick and mortar institutions and the Internet-based companies has dramatically lowered the costs of investing, and empowered the individual investor to take control of their own investment strategy in Forex trading.

We know Forex trading is direct access trading of currencies. In the past, foreign exchange trading was limited to large banks and institutional traders but recent advancements in technology have allowed small traders to take advantage of the many benefits of Forex trading using online trading platforms to trade. Virtually Forex trading is done 24 hours day and almost 5 ? days of a week. In the recent times, online trading has revolutionized the currency markets by making it accessible to the small and medium sized investor.

The Forex trading is perhaps the largest financial market in the world, with a daily average turnover of approximately $1.5 trillion. Foreign Exchange is the simultaneous buying of one currency and selling of another. The world's currencies are on a floating exchange rate and are always traded in pairs, for example EUR/USD or USD/JPY or USD/INR etc.

In the new millennium, the Forex trading has become accessible for an individual investor or small group of investors. In the current scenario, investors reap many benefits from Forex trading than stock market, e-mini futures and such other trading. Today mostly traders are choosing Forex trading than stock trading because there are approximately 4,500 stocks listed on the New York Stock exchange. Another 3,500 are listed on the NASDAQ. In spot Forex trading, you have 4 major markets, 24 hours a day 5.5 days a week. If you are so inclined, you have approximately 34 second-tier currencies to look at in your spare time. You can concentrate on the major forex and can find your trade. When you are investing in forex you can spend your afternoon on the golf course or with your spouse watching movie or celebrating holidays-in short it is easy and hassle free than stock/future market.

Not only is it an accessible, easy and less capital-intensive business opportunity, but it is much more cost efficient too to invest in the Forex market, in terms of both commissions and transaction fees. Generally, commissions for stock trades range from a low of $7.95-$29.95 per trade with on-line brokers to over $100 per trade with traditional brokers. Opposite to that, typically stock commissions are directly related to the level of service offered by the broker. At the high end, traditional brokers offer full access to research, analyst stock recommendations, etc. In contrast, on-line Forex brokers charge significantly lower commission and transaction fees.

forex, forex trading, trading forex, forex factory, forex rates, free forex, online forex, forex broker, forex signal, forex online, best forex, forex system, forex trade, easy forex, forex market, forex software, trade forex, forex.se, forex forum, forex signals, forex news, forex trader, forex brokers, forex account, online forex trading, forex currency, forex strategy, forex trading online, forex online trading, managed forex, forex charts, forex strategies, forex trading system, forex ea, forex demo, forex exchange, forex training, learn forex, forex trading software, automated forex, forex analysis, forex chart, forex currency trading, forex course, forex platform, forex systems, forex indicators, forex scalping, forex markets, best forex trading, forex day trading, automated forex trading, forex traders, what is forex, forex converter, forex trading strategies, forex calculator, forex blog, forex robots, forex trading platforms, fx forex, best forex broker, cms forex, acm forex, forex investment, forex education, forex trading platform, managed forex account, forex mini, forex tutorial, forex managed accounts, forex trading systems, how to trade forex, forex trading signals, forex demo account, forex options, learn forex trading, forex trading strategy, forex trading course, forex trading account, forex platforms, online forex broker, forex trading training, automatic forex trading, forex trading tips, what is forex trading, forex trading demo, forex trading tutorial, forex trading hours, forex trading forum, forex investing, forex trading brokers, global forex trading, forex information, forex trading education, forex broker reviews, forex trading scams, mini forex trading, managed forex trading, learning forex trading

easy forex / Your Mother Could Make Money In Forex Trading

Author - Wayne Watson

The question would be not whether she could but rather would she enter the Forex trading market. The Forex day trading arena is a veritable snake pit ripe for scam artists to bilk money out of unwary investors. On the other hand, it is a forum for educated traders with the correct education, tools, and trading strategy to make a handsome income.

Becoming a successful Forex trader basically comes down to four things; 1) attaining the correct education, 2) using Forex tools which 3) use your own personal trading strategy, and 4) finding the correct Forex broker to fulfill your requirements. Let's look at these individually:

Attaining the correct education. Your Mother may not know the difference between a Forex PIP and one of the backup singers for Gladys Knight. So would you send her to one of those infomercial Forex riches classes to find out? We hope not! There are literally hundreds of training courses and materials out there for proper training. Word of mouth recommendations might be the best path to follow here.

Forex tools can also do many things like send trading signals and various buy/sell alerts to your desktop or mobile device based on what your personal trading philosophy dictates. Many of these tools are software based and some are provided via your favorite Forex trading sites. Not all people base decisions based on these signals though and use things like technical and fundamental analysis to determine when to buy or sell.

It also is essential to develop your own personal trading strategy. Your ability to assume certain risks might not exactly be what other traders or your broker recommends. A Forex trading strategy is not something generic and involves your personal game plan.

Before trading Forex you need to set up an account with a Forex broker. You may feel overwhelmed by the number of brokers who offer their services online. Deciding on a broker requires a little bit of research on your part, but the time spent will give you insight into the services that are available and fees charged by various brokers.

One of the most important ways to make the greatest return (and, also carry a greater loss risk) in Forex trading is with the use of a margin account. These accounts may let you trade as much as $100k in currency for as little as $1000. Margin accounts are the lifeblood of Forex trading, so be sure you understand the broker's margin terms before setting up an account. You need to know the margin requirements and how margin is calculated. Does margin change according to the currency traded? Is it the same every day of the week? Some brokers may offer different margins for mini and standard accounts.

Used correctly and together, the above items can lead to a comfortable part or full time income. If you don't use all the information available to you, though, you may as well let Mom take the weekend visit to Vegas with her money to see Gladys Knight. Make sure that she has developed her own Forex trading strategy and has used "paper trades" many times before actually beginning trading for real. Better that ole Mom is equipped to make some real money rather than throwing it away on the gaming tables.

forex, forex trading, trading forex, forex factory, forex rates, free forex, online forex, forex broker, forex signal, forex online, best forex, forex system, forex trade, easy forex, forex market, forex software, trade forex, forex.se, forex forum, forex signals, forex news, forex trader, forex brokers, forex account, online forex trading, forex currency, forex strategy, forex trading online, forex online trading, managed forex, forex charts, forex strategies, forex trading system, forex ea, forex demo, forex exchange, forex training, learn forex, forex trading software, automated forex, forex analysis, forex chart, forex currency trading, forex course, forex platform, forex systems, forex indicators, forex scalping, forex markets, best forex trading, forex day trading, automated forex trading, forex traders, what is forex, forex converter, forex trading strategies, forex calculator, forex blog, forex robots, forex trading platforms, fx forex, best forex broker, cms forex, acm forex, forex investment, forex education, forex trading platform, managed forex account, forex mini, forex tutorial, forex managed accounts, forex trading systems, how to trade forex, forex trading signals, forex demo account, forex options, learn forex trading, forex trading strategy, forex trading course, forex trading account, forex platforms, online forex broker, forex trading training, automatic forex trading, forex trading tips, what is forex trading, forex trading demo, forex trading tutorial, forex trading hours, forex trading forum, forex investing, forex trading brokers, global forex trading, forex information, forex trading education, forex broker reviews, forex trading scams, mini forex trading, managed forex trading, learning forex trading

fx forex / The History of Forex Trading

Author - Divyansh Sharma

The origin of Forex trading traces its history to centuries ago. Different currencies and the need to exchange them had existed since the Babylonians. They are credited with the first use of paper notes and receipts. Speculation hardly ever happened, and certainly the enormous speculative activity in the market today would have been frowned upon.

In those days, the value of goods were expressed in terms of other goods(also called as the Barter System). The obvious limitations of such a system encouraged establishing more generally accepted mediums of exchange. It was important that a common base of value could be established. In some economies, items such as teeth, feathers even stones served this purpose, but soon various metals, in particular gold and silver, established themselves as an accepted means of payment as well as a reliable storage of value. Trade was carried among people of Africa, Asia etc through this system.

Coins were initially minted from the preferred metal and in stable political regimes, the introduction of a paper form of governmental I.O.U. during the Middle Ages also gained acceptance. This type of I.O.U. was introduced more successfully through force than through persuasion and is now the basis of today's modern currencies.

Before the First World war, most Central banks supported their currencies with convertibility to gold. However, the gold exchange standard had its weaknesses of boom-bust patterns. As an economy strengthened, it would import a great deal from out of the country until it ran down its gold reserves required to support its money; as a result, the money supply would diminish, interest rates escalate and economic activity slowed to the point of recession. Ultimately, prices of commodities had hit bottom, appearing attractive to other nations, who would sprint into buying fury that injected the economy with gold until it increased its money supply, drive down interest rates and restore wealth into the economy.. However, for this type of gold exchange, there was not necessarily a Centrals bank need for full coverage of the government's currency reserves. This did not occur very often, however when a group mindset fostered this disastrous notion of converting back to gold in mass, panic resulted in so-called "Run on banks " The combination of a greater supply of paper money without the gold to cover led to devastating inflation and resulting political instability. The Great Depression and the removal of the gold standard in 1931 created a serious lull in Forex market activity. From 1931 until 1973, the Forex market went through a series of changes. These changes greatly affected the global economies at the time and speculation in the Forex markets during these times was little.

In order to protect local national interests, increased foreign exchange controls were introduced to prevent market forces from punishing monetary irresponsibility.

Near the end of World War II, the Bretton Woods agreement was reached on the initiative of the USA in July 1944. The conference held in Bretton Woods, New Hampshire rejected John Maynard Keynes suggestion for a new world reserve currency in favor of a system built on the US Dollar. International institutions such as the IMF, The World Bank and GATT were created in the same period as the emerging victors of WWII searched for a way to avoid the destabilizing monetary crises leading to the war. The Bretton Woods agreement resulted in a system of fixed exchange rates that reinstated The Gold Standard partly, fixing the USD at $35.00 per ounce of Gold and fixing the other main currencies to the dollar, initially intended to be on a permanent basis.

The Bretton Woods system came under increasing pressure as national economies moved in different directions during the 1960's. A number of realignments held the system alive for a long time but eventually Bretton Woods collapsed in the early 1970's following president Nixon's suspension of the gold convertibility in August 1971. The dollar was not any longer suited as the sole international currency at a time when it was under severe pressure from increasing US budget and trade deficits.

The last few decades have seen foreign exchange trading develop into the world's largest global market. Restrictions on capital flows have been removed in most countries, leaving the market forces free to adjust foreign exchange rates according to their perceived values.

The European Economic Community introduced a new system of fixed exchange rates in 1979, the European Monetary System. The quest continued in Europe for currency stability with the 1991 signing of The Maastricht treaty. This was to not only fix exchange rates but also actually replace many of them with the Euro in 2002. London was, and remains the principal offshore market. In the 1980s, it became the key center in the Eurodollar market when British banks began lending dollars as an alternative to pounds in order to maintain their leading position in global finance.

In Asia, the lack of sustainability of fixed foreign exchange rates has gained new relevance with the events in South East Asia in the latter part of 1997, where currency after currency was devalued against the US dollar, leaving other fixed exchange rates in particular in South America also looking very vulnerable.

While commercial companies have had to face a much more volatile currency environment in recent years, investors and financial institutions have discovered a new playground. The Forex exchange market initially worked under the central banks and the governmental institutions but later on it accommodated the various institutions, at present it also includes the dot com booms and the world wide web. The size of the Forex market now dwarfs any other investment market. The foreign exchange market is the largest financial market in the world. Approximately 1.9 trillion dollars are traded daily in the foreign exchange market. It is estimated that more than USD 1,200 Billion are traded every day. It can be said easily that Forex market is a lucrative opportunity for the modern day savvy investor.

forex, forex trading, trading forex, forex factory, forex rates, free forex, online forex, forex broker, forex signal, forex online, best forex, forex system, forex trade, easy forex, forex market, forex software, trade forex, forex.se, forex forum, forex signals, forex news, forex trader, forex brokers, forex account, online forex trading, forex currency, forex strategy, forex trading online, forex online trading, managed forex, forex charts, forex strategies, forex trading system, forex ea, forex demo, forex exchange, forex training, learn forex, forex trading software, automated forex, forex analysis, forex chart, forex currency trading, forex course, forex platform, forex systems, forex indicators, forex scalping, forex markets, best forex trading, forex day trading, automated forex trading, forex traders, what is forex, forex converter, forex trading strategies, forex calculator, forex blog, forex robots, forex trading platforms, fx forex, best forex broker, cms forex, acm forex, forex investment, forex education, forex trading platform, managed forex account, forex mini, forex tutorial, forex managed accounts, forex trading systems, how to trade forex, forex trading signals, forex demo account, forex options, learn forex trading, forex trading strategy, forex trading course, forex trading account, forex platforms, online forex broker, forex trading training, automatic forex trading, forex trading tips, what is forex trading, forex trading demo, forex trading tutorial, forex trading hours, forex trading forum, forex investing, forex trading brokers, global forex trading, forex information, forex trading education, forex broker reviews, forex trading scams, mini forex trading, managed forex trading, learning forex trading

forex account / A Short Introduction To Forex

Author - Adrian Pablo

Forex is the world's largest and most liquid trading market. Many consider Forex as the best home business you can ever venture in. Even though regular people have had the opportunity to take part in trading foreign currencies for profit (in the same way banks and large corporations do) since 1998, it is just now becoming the cool, hip, new "thing" to talk about at parties, business events, and other social gatherings.

Even though it has been somewhat of a loosely guarded secret, every day more and more investors are turning to the all-electronic world of Forex trading for income and profit because of its numerous benefits & advantages over traditional trading vehicles, like stocks, bonds and commodities.

But, still, whenever something seems new or is just becoming a part of social conversation, news articles, and water cooler gossip, misconceptions have to be overcome, the mind has to be open and the slate has to be clear for starting out fresh with the CORRECT information.

So, in this article, it is my attempt to give you some solid, but not over-detailed, information on just what the heck "FX" (Forex) means, what it is, and why it exists.

As a successful trader said, Trading Forex is like picking money up off the floor. Not trading Forex is like leaving it there for someone else to pick up." Others in the industry have also said, Trading Forex is like having an ATM machine on your own computer.

Here's an explanation (one I feel you'll appreciate) of what Forex is and how a bunch of traders, profit from it:

The Foreign Exchange Market, also referred to the "Forex" or "FX" market, is the spot (cash) market for currency.

But, don't mistake FX as trading the futures market, where you buy a contract to purchase a particular currency at a future price in time.

What FX traders do is much less risky than trading currencies on the futures market, much more profitable, and a lot easier, than trading stocks.

So, you're probably wondering where it's at ... or ... how to access the FX market?

The answer is: FX Trading is not bound to any one trading floor and is not centralized on an exchange, as with the stock and futures markets. The FX market is considered an Over-the-Counter (OTC) or 'Interbank' market, due to the fact that the entire market is run electronically, within a network of banks, continuously over a 24-hour period.

Yes, if that's the first time you've heard about an all-electronic market, I know this may sound somewhat intriguing to you.

Here's what you are actually trading when you participate in the Foreign Exchange (Forex) market:

Essentially, like the large banks who use the FX market to protect themselves from the fluctuating exchange rate of different currencies, as an investor, what a FX trader is doing is simultaneously exchanging one countries currency for another. So, in actuality, they're electronically trading a currency-pair and the price that is quoted to us is the exchange rate between the two currencies.

In other words, simply the quoted price is how many of the one currency is worth 1 of the other currency.

Example:

EUR/USD last trade 1.2850 — One Euro is worth $1.2850 US dollars. The first currency (in this example, the EURO) is referred to as the base currency and the second (/USD) as the counter or quote currency.

The Forex has a DAILY trading volume of around $1.5 trillion dollars — 30 times larger than the combined volume of all U.S. equity markets. This means that 1,498,574 skilled traders could each take 1 million dollars out of the Forex market every day and the Forex would still have more money left than the New York Stock exchange every day!

The Forex plays a vital role in the world economy and there will always be a tremendous need for the Forex. International trade increases as technology and communication increases. As long as there is international trade, there will be a Forex market. The FX market has to exist so a country like Japan can sell products in the United States and be able to receive Japanese Yen in exchange for US Dollar.

There's plenty of money to be made using Forex for plenty of traders that use the right trading techniques / tactics that will allow them to profit immensely. And, with only 5% of the daily turnover of volume coming from banks, government and large corporations who need to hedge, the other 95% is for speculation and profit.

forex, forex trading, trading forex, forex factory, forex rates, free forex, online forex, forex broker, forex signal, forex online, best forex, forex system, forex trade, easy forex, forex market, forex software, trade forex, forex.se, forex forum, forex signals, forex news, forex trader, forex brokers, forex account, online forex trading, forex currency, forex strategy, forex trading online, forex online trading, managed forex, forex charts, forex strategies, forex trading system, forex ea, forex demo, forex exchange, forex training, learn forex, forex trading software, automated forex, forex analysis, forex chart, forex currency trading, forex course, forex platform, forex systems, forex indicators, forex scalping, forex markets, best forex trading, forex day trading, automated forex trading, forex traders, what is forex, forex converter, forex trading strategies, forex calculator, forex blog, forex robots, forex trading platforms, fx forex, best forex broker, cms forex, acm forex, forex investment, forex education, forex trading platform, managed forex account, forex mini, forex tutorial, forex managed accounts, forex trading systems, how to trade forex, forex trading signals, forex demo account, forex options, learn forex trading, forex trading strategy, forex trading course, forex trading account, forex platforms, online forex broker, forex trading training, automatic forex trading, forex trading tips, what is forex trading, forex trading demo, forex trading tutorial, forex trading hours, forex trading forum, forex investing, forex trading brokers, global forex trading, forex information, forex trading education, forex broker reviews, forex trading scams, mini forex trading, managed forex trading, learning forex trading

online forex broker / Forex 101: Make Money with Currency Trading

Author - Rich McIver

For those unfamiliar with the term, Forex (FOReign EXchange market), refers to an international exchange market where currencies are bought and sold. The Foreign Exchange Market that we see today began in the 1970's, when free exchange rates and floating currencies were introduced. In such an environment only participants in the market determine the price of one currency against another, based upon supply and demand for that currency.

Forex is a somewhat unique market for a number of reasons. Firstly, it is one of the few markets in which it can be said with very few qualifications that it is free of external controls and that it cannot be manipulated. It is also the largest liquid financial market, with trade reaching between 1 and 1.5 trillion US dollars a day. With this much money moving this fast, it is clear why a single investor would find it near impossible to significantly affect the price of a major currency. Furthermore, the liquidity of the market means that unlike some rarely traded stock, traders are able to open and close positions within a few seconds as there are always willing buyers and sellers.

Another somewhat unique characteristic of the Forex money market is the variance of its participants. Investors find a number of reasons for entering the market, some as longer term hedge investors, while others utilize massive credit lines to seek large short term gains. Interestingly, unlike blue-chip stocks, which are usually most attractive only to the long term investor, the combination of rather constant but small daily fluctuations in currency prices, create an environment which attracts investors with a broad range of strategies.

How Forex Works

Transactions in foreign currencies are not centralized on an exchange, unlike say the NYSE, and thus take place all over the world via telecommunications. Trade is open 24 hours a day from Sunday afternoon until Friday afternoon (00:00 GMT on Monday to 10:00 pm GMT on Friday). In almost every time zone around the world, there are dealers who will quote all major currencies. After deciding what currency the investor would like to purchase, he or she does so via one of these dealers (some of which can be found online). It is quite common practice for investors to speculate on currency prices by getting a credit line (which are available to those with capital as small as $500), and vastly increase their potential gains and losses. This is called marginal trading.

Marginal Trading

Marginal trading is simply the term used for trading with borrowed capital. It is appealing because of the fact that in Forex investments can be made without a real money supply. This allows investors to invest much more money with fewer money transfer costs, and open bigger positions with a much smaller amount of actual capital. Thus, one can conduct relatively large transactions, very quickly and cheaply, with a small amount of initial capital. Marginal trading in an exchange market is quantified in lots. The term "lot" refers to approximately $100,000, an amount which can be obtained by putting up as little as 0.5% or $500.

EXAMPLE: You believe that signals in the market are indicating that the British Pound will go up against the US Dollar. You open 1 lot for buying the Pound with a 1% margin at the price of 1.49889 and wait for the exchange rate to climb. At some point in the future, your predictions come true and you decide to sell. You close the position at 1.5050 and earn 61 pips or about $405. Thus, on an initial capital investment of $1,000, you have made over 40% in profits. (Just as an example of how exchange rates change in the course of a day, an average daily change of the Euro (in Dollars) is about 70 to 100 pips.)

When you decide to close a position, the deposit sum that you originally made is returned to you and a calculation of your profits or losses is done. This profit or loss is then credited to your account.

Investment Strategies: Technical Analysis and Fundamental Analysis

The two fundamental strategies in investing in Forex are Technical Analysis or Fundamental Analysis. Most small and medium sized investors in financial markets use Technical Analysis. This technique stems from the assumption that all information about the market and a particular currency's future fluctuations is found in the price chain. That is to say, that all factors which have an effect on the price have already been considered by the market and are thus reflected in the price. Essentially then, what this type of investor does is base his/her investments upon three fundamental suppositions. These are: that the movement of the market considers all factors, that the movement of prices is purposeful and directly tied to these events, and that history repeats itself. Someone utilizing technical analysis looks at the highest and lowest prices of a currency, the prices of opening and closing, and the volume of transactions. This investor does not try to outsmart the market, or even predict major long term trends, but simply looks at what has happened to that currency in the recent past, and predicts that the small fluctuations will generally continue just as they have before.

A Fundamental Analysis is one which analyzes the current situations in the country of the currency, including such things as its economy, its political situation, and other related rumors. By the numbers, a country's economy depends on a number of quantifiable measurements such as its Central Bank's interest rate, the national unemployment level, tax policy and the rate of inflation. An investor can also anticipate that less quantifiable occurrences, such as political unrest or transition will also have an effect on the market. Before basing all predictions on the factors alone, however, it is important to remember that investors must also keep in mind the expectations and anticipations of market participants. For just as in any stock market, the value of a currency is also based in large part on perceptions of and anticipations about that currency, not solely on its reality.

Make Money with Currency Trading on Forex

Forex investing is one of the most potentially rewarding types of investments available. While certainly the risk is great, the ability to conduct marginal trading on Forex means that potential profits are enormous relative to initial capital investments. Another benefit of Forex is that its size prevents almost all attempts by others to influence the market for their own gain. So that when investing in foreign currency markets one can feel quite confident that the investment he or she is making has the same opportunity for profit as other investors throughout the world. While investing in Forex short term requires a certain degree of diligence, investors who utilize a technical analysis can feel relatively confident that their own ability to read the daily fluctuations of the currency market are sufficiently adequate to give them the knowledge necessary to make informed investments.

forex, forex trading, trading forex, forex factory, forex rates, free forex, online forex, forex broker, forex signal, forex online, best forex, forex system, forex trade, easy forex, forex market, forex software, trade forex, forex.se, forex forum, forex signals, forex news, forex trader, forex brokers, forex account, online forex trading, forex currency, forex strategy, forex trading online, forex online trading, managed forex, forex charts, forex strategies, forex trading system, forex ea, forex demo, forex exchange, forex training, learn forex, forex trading software, automated forex, forex analysis, forex chart, forex currency trading, forex course, forex platform, forex systems, forex indicators, forex scalping, forex markets, best forex trading, forex day trading, automated forex trading, forex traders, what is forex, forex converter, forex trading strategies, forex calculator, forex blog, forex robots, forex trading platforms, fx forex, best forex broker, cms forex, acm forex, forex investment, forex education, forex trading platform, managed forex account, forex mini, forex tutorial, forex managed accounts, forex trading systems, how to trade forex, forex trading signals, forex demo account, forex options, learn forex trading, forex trading strategy, forex trading course, forex trading account, forex platforms, online forex broker, forex trading training, automatic forex trading, forex trading tips, what is forex trading, forex trading demo, forex trading tutorial, forex trading hours, forex trading forum, forex investing, forex trading brokers, global forex trading, forex information, forex trading education, forex broker reviews, forex trading scams, mini forex trading, managed forex trading, learning forex trading

forex trading course / Online Forex

Author - Rafik Patel

Q1: When you consider that the foreign exchange market has become the world's largest financial market, with over $1.5 trillion USD traded daily, where does it go from here?

A1:The FX market is unique, in the UK there is no central exchange, we trade via the inter bank market. With more and more private individuals taking up margin trading and new forex brokers setting up, I can only see the market grow in the near future.

Q2: Other than great liquidity, what are the principal benefits attached to the forex market?

A2: There is less to consider when trading the forex markets, there are only a number of variables that affect the pricing.

Main advantages include

Forex Market allows 24 hour trading

Greater leverage — with most brokers offering 100 — 1,

Less starting capital required,

More Liquidity — day trading has to have enough volume to make it worth our while. The currency market is more liquid than all the world stock markets put together. Currencies are always in action,

Free trading systems

Better for shorting — There are artificial controls built into the market to prevent it from going down too fast. The reason is that we live in a biased world that likes to see things go up instead of down. One of these artificial contraptions is the "uptick rule," which comes into play when shorting stocks, making it more difficult to sell a stock short than to buy it. This is unheard of in the currency market. Selling currencies short while day trading is just as easy as buying them.

Ideal for Short Term Traders —

Q3: Limited market access, liquidity issues-after market hours, commission fees, capital requirements and short selling/stop restrictions are just some of the issues investors face when considering other markets. Given that the forex market removes many of these traditional barriers and therefore does not restrict the forex traders' ability to make a trade at the right time, are we likely to see an increase in trading volumes this year?

A3: With all these advantages, traders are finding it hard not to trade currencies, online trading volumes across all products is increasing at a substantial rate, however FX trading, predominantly amongst retail investors is becoming very popular.

Q4: There is stiff competition amongst online forex service providers for retail forex traders with some claiming to offer the same degree of technical analysis enjoyed by the world's largest banks and institutional traders. Is this possible?

A4: Technical Analysis has come a long way, more and more forex provides now have partnerships with firms who provide analysis. However the banks still have an advantage, the markets are still not under perfectly competitive economic model. The banks will always have access to information that is not readily available, ISX FX currently sources its information from a number of banks to fill this gap.

Q5: Do you subscribe to the theory that forex is less volatile than stocks because the market is much deeper?

A5: As a bet on the direction of a national economy, no currency has ever dropped 25 percent in a day, or imploded as rapidly and completely as an Enron or a Parmalat. In the wake of those scandals, many companies are meting out information more cautiously, making it harder to get the real "scoop" on stocks one problem of trading with too-high leverage is that one piece of surprise news can wipe out one's capital. If you treat forex trading like a business, including proper money management, you have a better chance of success."

Q6: U.S. interest rates-decade lows; global trade wars and terrorism fears have dominated the headlines recently. What impact has this had on retail volumes?

A6: The above factors have all led to a decline in the dollar. This coupled with tighter regulation of brokers has given investors more confidence in brokers. Also the stock market crash has driven individuals to look at the profit opportunities offered by forex.

Q7: Stateside the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) has brought 58 actions against firms, since its new powers were awarded in 2000. Given that certain brokers continue to abuse the system, with investor money sometimes not being traded in the markets promised. What can investors do protect themselves?

A7: The retail forex market is in essence betting, as with any bookmaker there is always a risk that you will not get your winnings, or the odds will be highly stacked against you. With tighter regulation and increased competition, this risk of default has largely disappeared. The risk of price manipulation still exists and this will never really go away. Investors need to ensure that they have an independent price source and trade with a broker who offers true one click dealing. Most brokers work on the basis of the law of large numbers, acting like the bucket shops of 50 years ago, they do not hedge any positions and are directly competing against there clients. This will always lead to price manipulation and further actions by authorities will inevitably be taken.

Q8: What is this best way for "currency rookies" to get involved in the market?

A8: Like with any new form of trading you need to know what you are doing, especially as there is margin involved. Take all the time you need to learn this new trading skill well -- practice everything you learn with a demo account before you consider going 'live' with your own money. Investors should read books, attend seminars and paper trade until they are comfortable with there strategy.

forex, forex trading, trading forex, forex factory, forex rates, free forex, online forex, forex broker, forex signal, forex online, best forex, forex system, forex trade, easy forex, forex market, forex software, trade forex, forex.se, forex forum, forex signals, forex news, forex trader, forex brokers, forex account, online forex trading, forex currency, forex strategy, forex trading online, forex online trading, managed forex, forex charts, forex strategies, forex trading system, forex ea, forex demo, forex exchange, forex training, learn forex, forex trading software, automated forex, forex analysis, forex chart, forex currency trading, forex course, forex platform, forex systems, forex indicators, forex scalping, forex markets, best forex trading, forex day trading, automated forex trading, forex traders, what is forex, forex converter, forex trading strategies, forex calculator, forex blog, forex robots, forex trading platforms, fx forex, best forex broker, cms forex, acm forex, forex investment, forex education, forex trading platform, managed forex account, forex mini, forex tutorial, forex managed accounts, forex trading systems, how to trade forex, forex trading signals, forex demo account, forex options, learn forex trading, forex trading strategy, forex trading course, forex trading account, forex platforms, online forex broker, forex trading training, automatic forex trading, forex trading tips, what is forex trading, forex trading demo, forex trading tutorial, forex trading hours, forex trading forum, forex investing, forex trading brokers, global forex trading, forex information, forex trading education, forex broker reviews, forex trading scams, mini forex trading, managed forex trading, learning forex trading

learning forex trading / Shoes Or Forex?

Author - Marquez Comelab

Most people, who want to establish a financially-secure future, choose to start their own business by trading goods like shoes, art, crafts, clothing or antiques.

A friend of mine set up a trading business in Indonesia . We met when we were still earning our degrees in Melbourne , Australia . He imports steel and plastic from China and distributes them to his home country. It took him two years before his business stabilized and he is now making a good living out of it.

Even though there is now an ocean between us, we manage to talk once a year over the telephone. He asked me once if I wanted to meet him in a trade show in China . He learnt how to speak Mandarin so he finds it easy to get around China . With his ability to communicate with the Chinese, he offered his assistance to me if I ever wanted to start my own import or export business.

I had the option of trading in whatever goods I wanted. According to my friend, it could be 'anything you can think of'. Had I taken the option, I would have traded shoes because I can vary my investment size according to my financial capability. With limited funds to invest, I can buy only a few pairs of shoes. If I can find a lot of money to invest, I can order big too. I had a couple of months to decide. So I did some thinking.

Readers of this article may not be considering trading shoes, but I will use it as an example to help you decide about the choices available to you.

RESEARCH & INFORMATION

For someone to trade shoes, you would have to:
1. Research the local market for shoes,
2. Find out more about the big players in the shoe business,
3. Get acquainted with the different types of shoes and how much they are selling for,
4. Find out what costs are involved in importing shoes and
5. Determine how you can market and distribute them.
6. When I trade currencies, I have all the information I need by looking at a chart. It takes a long time to learn to do this well, but so does selling shoes.

INITIAL CAPITAL

To order a thousand pairs of shoes, you would require a lot more money than what it takes to start trading forex: usually, anything between $200 to $300 is sufficient. (In my book: The Part-Time Currency Trader , I discuss the costs of trading forex).

LEGALITIES

To start, you would have to establish the paperwork necessary to ensure that you get familiar with the legalities of the goods you wish to import and distribute.

What if a particular shipment of shoes does not sell, because even though they may have been popular in other countries, consumers in your country might not like it? Do you have more money to order another batch?

What if the stock you buy is defective and the seller does not want to have anything more to do with you? You can take them to court, but can you muster the resources to do so? You can threaten them by not doing business with them ever again, but would they care when they have other businesses to deal with?

PASSION

Successful entrepreneurs have taken at least two years to stabilize their business. Others take a lot longer. When starting and building a business, your expectations need to be set for the long term, because it will take time.

Harrison Ford — the famous American actor — had a strategy. He saw that many of the actors, who came to Hollywood with dreams of becoming superstars, gave up because it was too hard. So he figured that he could succeed one day, if he could only persevere with all the hardships associated with his endeavour.

Your ability to stay focused on a task long enough to attain success would be greatly improved if you liked what you do. Would you enjoy being surrounded with things related to shoes for most of your life, or would you hate it?

CONVENIENCE

The forex market is open 24 hours a day. You can buy and sell currencies in your pyjamas at midnight if you like and the transaction is complete before you go back to bed.

BENEFITS OF TRADING FOREX OVER SHOES

There are advantages in trading shoes, but I could see more benefits in trading currencies. You do not need to worry about the process of importing or exporting, transporting goods, defective items, marketing and distribution as well as ensuring that you are complying with the law. Furthermore, in forex, you do not have to invest too much just to 'test the waters'.

forex, forex trading, trading forex, forex factory, forex rates, free forex, online forex, forex broker, forex signal, forex online, best forex, forex system, forex trade, easy forex, forex market, forex software, trade forex, forex.se, forex forum, forex signals, forex news, forex trader, forex brokers, forex account, online forex trading, forex currency, forex strategy, forex trading online, forex online trading, managed forex, forex charts, forex strategies, forex trading system, forex ea, forex demo, forex exchange, forex training, learn forex, forex trading software, automated forex, forex analysis, forex chart, forex currency trading, forex course, forex platform, forex systems, forex indicators, forex scalping, forex markets, best forex trading, forex day trading, automated forex trading, forex traders, what is forex, forex converter, forex trading strategies, forex calculator, forex blog, forex robots, forex trading platforms, fx forex, best forex broker, cms forex, acm forex, forex investment, forex education, forex trading platform, managed forex account, forex mini, forex tutorial, forex managed accounts, forex trading systems, how to trade forex, forex trading signals, forex demo account, forex options, learn forex trading, forex trading strategy, forex trading course, forex trading account, forex platforms, online forex broker, forex trading training, automatic forex trading, forex trading tips, what is forex trading, forex trading demo, forex trading tutorial, forex trading hours, forex trading forum, forex investing, forex trading brokers, global forex trading, forex information, forex trading education, forex broker reviews, forex trading scams, mini forex trading, managed forex trading, learning forex trading

online forex trading / Forex 101

Author - John Sanderson

The Foreign Exchange Market, or Forex market is a worldwide market where buying and selling of currencies takes place. These transactions take place 5 days a week, 24 hours a day and daily are worth approximately 1.5 trillion dollars (US). The Forex market opened in 1971 when the fixed currency exchanges market was closed. Thanks to the technology now available this market has grown from trading 70 billion dollars (US) a day to the current level.

There are approximately 5,000 institutions in Forex. Some are banks, some commercial companies and some foreign currency brokers. The largest Forex trading centers are located in New York, London, Tokyo, Hong Kong, Paris, Frankfurt, Singapore and Paris.

As mentioned above, technology has produced a boom in the Forex market. With the advent of online investing even small investors can take advantage of the Forex market. Over the years many regulations have changed allowing smaller transactions to take place. There are no longer minimum transaction sizes.

Some of the advantages to Forex are:

Brokers earn money by setting the spread, they do not work on a commission basis. The spread is known as the difference between what a currency can be bought for and sold at. The market is open, as mentioned above, 24 hours a day, 5 days a week and is available to you at the push of a button over the internet. The Forex market is a huge one and with bids and ask offers and the high number of transactions taking place on a daily basis the market remains liquid. This means there is always a buyer and a seller for any currency type.

Because there are always movements between currencies even small changes can result in profits for investors. This is due to the fact that the market is broken down into what are called lots. Each lot is worth approximately 100 thousand dollars (US). Individuals can invest through what are called leverage loans. Generally a $1,000.00 investment can get you started.

forex, forex trading, trading forex, forex factory, forex rates, free forex, online forex, forex broker, forex signal, forex online, best forex, forex system, forex trade, easy forex, forex market, forex software, trade forex, forex.se, forex forum, forex signals, forex news, forex trader, forex brokers, forex account, online forex trading, forex currency, forex strategy, forex trading online, forex online trading, managed forex, forex charts, forex strategies, forex trading system, forex ea, forex demo, forex exchange, forex training, learn forex, forex trading software, automated forex, forex analysis, forex chart, forex currency trading, forex course, forex platform, forex systems, forex indicators, forex scalping, forex markets, best forex trading, forex day trading, automated forex trading, forex traders, what is forex, forex converter, forex trading strategies, forex calculator, forex blog, forex robots, forex trading platforms, fx forex, best forex broker, cms forex, acm forex, forex investment, forex education, forex trading platform, managed forex account, forex mini, forex tutorial, forex managed accounts, forex trading systems, how to trade forex, forex trading signals, forex demo account, forex options, learn forex trading, forex trading strategy, forex trading course, forex trading account, forex platforms, online forex broker, forex trading training, automatic forex trading, forex trading tips, what is forex trading, forex trading demo, forex trading tutorial, forex trading hours, forex trading forum, forex investing, forex trading brokers, global forex trading, forex information, forex trading education, forex broker reviews, forex trading scams, mini forex trading, managed forex trading, learning forex trading

forex options / Currency Trading Is Not The Monopoly Of The Nerds And The Geeks

Author - Sara Chambers

The general perception is that any and every person who is involved in the business of trading of currency or foreign exchange is a person who has a super high IQ. To hear words and phrases like liquidity ratio, central bank intervention and inflationary demand makes us feel as if we are back in the boring and inherently avoidable lecture on economics that we were forced to attend in our college.

However, all these preconceived notions apart, forex or currency trading is not the domain for the super intelligent alone.

There is no doubt that you need brains to get involved in forex trading. Then, I bet you cannot name a single sphere of human activity that does not need the application of one's mind. A bit of brains and lot of research can help you make a tidy sum in currency trading.

Till recently, the forex trading market was not open to individual investors. To take part in the process of buying and selling of currency, you either had to be a big bank with lots of deposits and assets under your belt or you had to be a big financial institution that carried out the business of trading in forex as its primary activity. Today you do not need a lot of capital to earn money in currency trading. A few thousand dollars as the initial capital is sufficient to get you started.

The advantages of trading in currency are manifold. The biggest advantage is that the currency trading market is a market that remains open round the clock. No other financial market stays open and operation twenty-four hours a day. This round the clock functioning results in constant and immediate reflection of economic, political and social events. A smart investor can take advantage of the fluctuation to make huge profits.

Further, the forex market works without any centralized exchange. There is direct interaction between the persons involved in currency trading over the telephone or electronic network.

However, just because it is easy to enter the currency trading market does not mean it is easy to make profit in the currency trading market. It is very important to possess knowledge of the forex market. You will have to grasp and establish your command over basic concepts. You will have to understand the significance of the technical indicators of the functioning of the forex market. Trying to gain complete knowledge of the currency market without actually entering into the field is like trying to learn swimming without entering the water.

By arriving at a judicious combination of knowledge, instincts and risk, one can make a lot of money in the currency trading market, or the forex market as it is known as, with very little initial investment.

forex, forex trading, trading forex, forex factory, forex rates, free forex, online forex, forex broker, forex signal, forex online, best forex, forex system, forex trade, easy forex, forex market, forex software, trade forex, forex.se, forex forum, forex signals, forex news, forex trader, forex brokers, forex account, online forex trading, forex currency, forex strategy, forex trading online, forex online trading, managed forex, forex charts, forex strategies, forex trading system, forex ea, forex demo, forex exchange, forex training, learn forex, forex trading software, automated forex, forex analysis, forex chart, forex currency trading, forex course, forex platform, forex systems, forex indicators, forex scalping, forex markets, best forex trading, forex day trading, automated forex trading, forex traders, what is forex, forex converter, forex trading strategies, forex calculator, forex blog, forex robots, forex trading platforms, fx forex, best forex broker, cms forex, acm forex, forex investment, forex education, forex trading platform, managed forex account, forex mini, forex tutorial, forex managed accounts, forex trading systems, how to trade forex, forex trading signals, forex demo account, forex options, learn forex trading, forex trading strategy, forex trading course, forex trading account, forex platforms, online forex broker, forex trading training, automatic forex trading, forex trading tips, what is forex trading, forex trading demo, forex trading tutorial, forex trading hours, forex trading forum, forex investing, forex trading brokers, global forex trading, forex information, forex trading education, forex broker reviews, forex trading scams, mini forex trading, managed forex trading, learning forex trading

forex markets / What Is Rollover Interest In The Forex Market?

Author - Martin Maier

In the spot forex market, all trades must be settled in two business days. A rollover refers to the process of closing open position for today's value date and the opening of the same position for the next day's value date at a price reflecting the difference in interest rates between the two currencies.

In accordance with international banking practices, Forex brokers automatically rolls over all open positions to the next date at 5 PM EST for settlement.

Rollover involves exchanging the position being held for a position expiring the following settlement date. For example, for trades executed on Monday, the value date is Wednesday.

However, if a position is opened on Monday and held overnight, the value date is now Thursday. The exception is a position opened and held overnight on Wednesday. The normal value date would be Saturday; because banks are closed on Saturday the value date is actually the following Monday. Due to the weekend, positions held overnight on Wednesday incur or earn an extra two days of interest.

Trades with a value date that falls on a holiday will also incur or earn additional interest. Forex Traders can earn interest on rollovers, depending on the direction of their positions and interest rate differential between the two currencies involved.

For instance, the primary interest rates in Great Britain are much higher than in Japan, so if a trader buys GBP, he/she will earn interest at 5 PM EST time. on the other hand, if he/she sells GBP in this currency pair, he/she will pay interest at 5 PM EST time.

Overnight Interest/Rollover is automatically paid to a client's account after buying a currency with greater Interest Rate in its country, and charged to a client's account if the country issuing this currency has smaller Primary Interest Rates.

forex, forex trading, trading forex, forex factory, forex rates, free forex, online forex, forex broker, forex signal, forex online, best forex, forex system, forex trade, easy forex, forex market, forex software, trade forex, forex.se, forex forum, forex signals, forex news, forex trader, forex brokers, forex account, online forex trading, forex currency, forex strategy, forex trading online, forex online trading, managed forex, forex charts, forex strategies, forex trading system, forex ea, forex demo, forex exchange, forex training, learn forex, forex trading software, automated forex, forex analysis, forex chart, forex currency trading, forex course, forex platform, forex systems, forex indicators, forex scalping, forex markets, best forex trading, forex day trading, automated forex trading, forex traders, what is forex, forex converter, forex trading strategies, forex calculator, forex blog, forex robots, forex trading platforms, fx forex, best forex broker, cms forex, acm forex, forex investment, forex education, forex trading platform, managed forex account, forex mini, forex tutorial, forex managed accounts, forex trading systems, how to trade forex, forex trading signals, forex demo account, forex options, learn forex trading, forex trading strategy, forex trading course, forex trading account, forex platforms, online forex broker, forex trading training, automatic forex trading, forex trading tips, what is forex trading, forex trading demo, forex trading tutorial, forex trading hours, forex trading forum, forex investing, forex trading brokers, global forex trading, forex information, forex trading education, forex broker reviews, forex trading scams, mini forex trading, managed forex trading, learning forex trading
